O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar e comentar, de forma breve, as traduções/versões francesas de duas composições atribuídas à poeta Safo de Lesbos (VII-VI a.C.) feitas por Renée Vivien (1877-1909). O enfoque não será posto na avaliação da qualidade literária do seu textos em francês, em comparação com o texto grego, mas sim, nas motivações que levaram essa autora a traduzir os poemas sáficos, assim como na sua escolha explícita em afirmar o homoerotismo poético, expresso no feminino, que pode ser lido nesses fragmentos e que, a contragosto ou não, impôs-se, em alguma medida, à crítica que se dedicou a comentá-los como uma questão incontornável.

Compte-rendu de la publication de sélection de lettres de Renée Vivien à Jean Charles-Brun par Nelly Sanchez. Publication très importante pour les études sur Renée Vivien car elle dévoile les lettres de l'auteure à l'un de ses plus fi`dèles amis qui se trouvait également être son maître de prosodie. L'auteure retravaillait avec son aide ses manuscrits et les épreuves de ses oeuvres publiées. Ainsi, cette correspondance nous fait entrer dans le processus de fabrication de l'oeuvre de R.V. et nous permet de mieux connaître, derrière le mythe de la "muse aux violettes", le travail de l'écrivaine.

This essay works to define, historicize, and probe the queer fairy tale subgenre. Recuperating Vladimir Propp’s syntagmatic formalism from a queer angle, I argue that fairy tales’ protean, fantastical qualities afford rapid and imaginative refashioning across languages by LGBTQ+ writers. In Belle Époque tales by Vernon Lee, Oscar Wilde, Laurence Housman, Jean Lorrain, and Renée Vivien, I locate a poignant vision of queer futurity.

L'imaginaire du féminin dans l'oeuvre de René Vivien est étudié selon quatre axes principaux : la morphogenèse d'une mémoire individuelle marquée par l'exil et la conscience d'une crise identitaire, ensuite les relectures, l'interprétation et les réécritures d'un légendaire féminin à partir de figures comme celles, entre autres, de Dalila, de la reine Vasthi, ou de Lilith, puis les évoca tions précises d'un mémorial poétique venu de l'antiquité grecque et appartenant à toutes (avec des témoignages exemplaires comme cex de Korinna, Erinna, Nossis, etc. ), et enfin le rôle de mythe fondateur tenu par Sappho dans l'oeuvre de son héritière spirituelle
Feminine imagery in Renée Vivien's work is approached through four main avenues of study : the transformation of personal memories characterised by exile and identity crisis, re-readings, interpretation and rewritings of feminine legend (Dalila, Vasthi, Lilith. . . ), the detailed imagery of a poetic edifice belonging to all women for existential poetry (from the ancient world with Korinna, Erinna, Nossis, etc. . . ) and, finally, the role of Sappho inlaying the mythic foundations and lyricism of her spiritual inheritor

A Tese problematiza o aspecto estético, ético e pedagógico do Ilê axé Oya Gbembale em Goiânia. Propõe-se compreender o Terreiro de Candomblé como espaço de aprendizagem, onde o trágico ganha um contorno pela sua plasticidade, movimento e complexidade que povoa o Cotidiano e a vida do Povo do Santo. Assim, a Educação no Axé ganha uma dimensão política e epistemológica na medida em que as vozes do Terreiro se revelam formando uma ética e uma estética do estar – junto, edificando uma Pedagogia que se constrói na experiência vivida e partilhada com a tribo do Candomblé. Intensifica-se assim, os laços existentes entre os vários aspectos da iniciação pedagógica e do mimetismo, dando um contorno a essa tragédia que faz do Candomblé um espaço vital, alegre e festivo, instaurando aí uma viscosidade nas relações humanas fruto das relações pedagógicas, ontológicas e existenciais entre os Pais e Filhos de Santo. No entanto, a Tese versa-se em torno de um relato que testemunha a gestão de uma vida e das relações dionisíacas que estabeleci com o Povo do Santo, a partir das jornadas que percorri desde o meu processo- de- iniciaçãopedag ógica, entregando-me a essa sensibilidade diante dos signos do Candomblé. Assim, tento decifrar o espaço sagrado e mitológico dos Orixás. Proponho, em outras palavras, mostrar a voz do Terreiro, dentro de uma magia fruto da conjunção humana que é tecida no interior do Terreiro e que faz dessa religião uma verdadeira obra de arte. Estabeleço um entrelaçamento entre a Antropologia Filosófica e a Educação, penetrando nas encruzilhadas teóricas de Michel Maffesoli, Martin Heidegger, Edgar Morin, Georges Balandier, Nietzsche, Deleuze, Gilbert Durand e René Girard.
The Thesis discusses about the esthetical, ethical and pedagogical aspect of Ilê axé Oyá Gbembale in Goiânia. It purposes to comprehend the "Yard of Ritual" of Candomblé as a space for learning, where the tragic gets an outline by its plasticity, movement and complexity which fills up the Holy People everyday and life. Thus, education according to Axé gets a political and epistemological dimension while the voices of the "Yard of ritual" reveal themselves forming ethics and esthetics of being - together, building the pedagogy that is constituted through the living and sharing experience with the tribe of Candomblé. It intensifies like this, the links among the several aspects of the pedagogical initiation, of mimetiza, giving appearance to this tragedy that turns Candomblé a vital space, happy and festive, establishing then a viscosity in the human relationship as a product of the pedagogical, ontological and existential relationship between "Parents and Children from Saints". However, the Thesis studies about a description which testifies a gestion of a life and of the dionysical relationship that I established with the Holy People, it starts from the journey that I went through since my pedagogical-process-of-initiation, handing me over this sensibility before the signs of Candomblé. Thus, I try to decipher the mythological and sacred space of the Orixás. I purpose, in other words, to show the voice of the "Yard of ritual", into a magic as a result of the human conjunction that is formed inside the "Yard of ritual" and that turns this religion a true art work. I establish a mixing up among the Philosophical Anthropology and the Education, going into the theorical cross-roads of Michel Maffesoli, Martin Heidegger, Edgar Morin, Georges Balandier, Nietzsche, Deleuze, Gilbert Durand e René Girard.

This dissertation examines lesbian and queer desire in texts in Catalan and Spanish written in Barcelona, Montevideo, and Buenos Aires from the 1960s to the present. In the texts, desire includes but is not limited to the erotic; it encompasses issues of queer textuality, relationality, and literary transmission. I focus on the works of three authors who have spent the majority of their lives in Barcelona. However, the city appears almost incidentally in their works; the genealogies that the authors trace are transnational. The texts combine literal movement (through exile or diaspora) and a metaphorical sense of being “out of place” that prompts writers to take refuge in writing. I demonstrate that despite depicting affinities beyond the family and nation, the works reveal the persistence of familial and national ties, albeit in spectral or queer ways. Rather than tracing continuous lines of descent that emphasise origins, the works are principally concerned with futurity and fragmentation, as in Michel Foucault’s reading of genealogy. Chapter One on Maria-Mercè Marçal’s La passió segons Renée Vivien (1994) traces a literary genealogy from Sappho to Renée Vivien in fin de siècle Paris to Marçal. The novel represents a merging of literary desire and erotic desire; Marçal’s search for symbolic mothers turns out to be a search for symbolic lovers that is oriented towards the present and future. In Chapter Two, I posit that in Cristina Peri Rossi’s La nave de los locos (1984) “happiness” consists of being open to chance and unpredictability unlike in conventional “happy” scripts in which a valuable life is believed to consist of (heterosexual) marriage, children, and property ownership. In Part II I argue that through fragmentation, allegory, and ambiguity, Peri Rossi’s El libro de mis primos (1969) contests authoritarian discourse without itself becoming a site of hegemonic meaning. In inviting the reader’s collaboration, it ensures authorial legacy. Part I of Chapter Three is an analysis of the temporality of obsession in Flavia Company’s Querida Nélida (1988). I propose that obsession and melancholia may point to a utopian future rather than signalling an entrapment in the past. My study of Melalcor (2000) in Part II suggests that queer forms of relationality that are not centred on procreation and monogamy offer ethical models of sociality. Part III focusses on Company’s return to biological family in Volver antes que ir (2012) and Por mis muertos (2014). The resurgence in these texts of family members who have died signals that just as the queer haunts the family, the family haunts the queer.

Ce travail porte sur la relation entre la philosophie de Descartes et la thématique humaniste de la civilité et de l’honnêteté. Une première étape de la thèse consiste en une réévaluation philosophique du concept de civilité à partir de son histoire antique et humaniste. Cette réévaluation repose sur deux axes principaux : mettre au jour les fondations métaphysiques de cette notion et le mouvement d’une intériorisation des normes civiles dans la conception de l’âme vertueuse. Il s’agit ensuite de comprendre la présence dans la pensée cartésienne de valeurs qui ne coïcident pas avec la conception habituelle de la justification rationnelle, comme la douceur, le naturel, la grâce et la convenance, et qui renvoient à la thématique de la civilité. La civilité est une perfection qui évite deux extrêmes, la barbarie et la sauvagerie, c’est-à-dire la violence excessive de la norme, et la violence d’une nature brute laissée à elle-même. Ce travail montre que la conception cartésienne de la rationalité et de la vertu morale tend également à éviter ces deux excès. D’autre part, en rattachant la philosophie de Descartes à la question de la civilité, il s’agit aussi de contester la conception solipsiste du sujet cartésien et de réhabiliter la dimension de l’extériorité dans l’appréhension de la subjectivité. La figure cartésienne du sujet moderne prend dès lors une dimension humaine et sociale au lieu de renvoyer à une dangereuse hybris de l’ego, tandis que la raison cartésienne est pensée comme civile et ouverte, non pas autoritaire ou répressive. Pour étayer cette thèse, ce travail aborde certaines tonalités éthiques du discours cartésien qui ne correspondent pas nécessairement à l’expression d’une thèse explicite mais qui éclairent la richesse et la complexité du texte
This work focuses on the relation between Descartes’ philosophy and the humanist themes of civility and honesty. A first step in this thesis is to philosophically reevaluate the concept of civility by focusing on its history within antiquity and humanism. Such a reevaluation bears on two main approaches: one is to demonstrate the metaphysical foundations of this notion, the other is to show the movement towards the internalization of civil norms in the conception of the virtuous soul. Our aim is then to show the presence, in Cartesian thought, of such values as gentleness, “naturel”, grace or “convenance”, which do not coincide with the common conception of rational justification, and which all trace back to the thematic field of civility. Civility is a perfection that avoids two extremes, barbarism and savagery, i. e. both the excessive violence of the norm and the violence stemming from a brute nature left to itself. On the other land, by linking Descartes’ philosophy to the question of civility, our aim is also to oppose the solipsistic conception of the Cartesian subject and to rehabilitate the dimension of exteriority within the comprehension of subjectivity. Thus, the Cartesian figure of the modern subject takes on a human and social dimension instead of referring to the ego’s hybris, while Cartesian reason gets redefined as civil and opened, not at all as authoritarian or repressive. In order to support this thesis, this work broaches certain ethical tonalities within Descartes’ discourse that do not necessarily correspond with the expression of an explicit standpoint, but which shed light upon the text’s richness and complexity

This dissertation is an analysis of the problems associated with the exhibition of Kinetic Art, based on three works by Miguel Palma (1964-). The key issue is the movement of these works and how this dynamic interferes with their exposure and conservation. For this reason, the greatest difficulty of curators and conservators in these situations is related to their conceptual dematerialization, which contradicts the "traditional" perspective of this area that is not prepared for the complexities of Contemporary Art, which results in the creation of strategies that may compromise the existence of these works. From an introductory study of the characteristics of Kinetic Art and Destructive Art, we draw a general picture of the obstacles that museum professionals face when these works are exhibited. The (non)existence of documentary records issue is one of the most frequent problems in these situations, leading to a fatal lack of knowledge about their parts, mainly due to their material and conceptual heterogeneity. At the same time, the challenge of their installation is due to the ephemerality of the components as a result of their friction and consequent wear and the multiplicity of materials, some of which are difficult to purchase and replace. In this sense, the creation of documentation about these works is one of the current major concerns, that must be carried out in close collaboration between cultural institutions and artists. The contact with these problems arose due to the participation in the assembly of the exhibition (Still) Modern Discomfort in the Museu Coleção Berardo. During this period, the monitoring of the works allowed the creation of a "logbook" in which we illustrated the dynamics and problems that occurred. Through the study of three works by this artist - Valor (2002), Peneira (2000) and Plataforma (2008) - together with the characteristics of Kinetic Art and Destructive Art, we propose a reflection on the dynamics of movement in Contemporary Art.

Ogni azienda che si riconosca socialmente responsabile deve occuparsi dello sviluppo delle carriere dei propri dipendenti da due punti di vista: quello individuale e personale e quello professionale. La carriera all’interno di un’azienda coinvolge, infatti, la persona in quanto individuo con un proprio carattere e una precisa identità e la persona in quanto lavoratore con un bagaglio specifico di conoscenze e competenze. L’azienda ha, quindi, il compito di promuovere carriere professionalmente stimolanti che si sviluppino in linea con i suoi stessi valori, la sua visione e la sua missione. Nel panorama moderno, aziende che sviluppano la propria idea di business nel rispetto dei lavoratori proponendo loro un percorso di crescita, si mostrano senza dubbio lungimiranti. Un tale approccio, però, non basta a far sì che vengano definite socialmente responsabili. I fattori della Responsabilità Sociale d’Impresa sono infatti numerosi e, ad oggi, uno dei problemi principali da affrontare è quello del progressivo invecchiamento della popolazione. Dal momento che la forza lavoro mondiale sta invecchiando e che si sta rispondendo al problema spostando la linea del pensionamento, tutte le aziende sono obbligate a mantenere le persone il più a lungo possibile attive e motivate a lavoro. L’età è spesso visto come un fattore di diversità e di discriminazione, ma nello sviluppare la mia argomentazione, cercherò di dimostrare che una politica del lavoro che supporti l’idea dell’invecchiamento attivo può trasformare questo fattore da limite in opportunità. Il rispetto degli esseri umani, a prescindere dalle differenze legate all’età, dovrebbe essere uno dei valori fondanti di ogni impresa. Nel primo capitolo della tesi, svilupperò il tema della dignità umana così come è stato concepito a partire dalla filosofia greca fino alla modernità. La dignità intesa come valore ontologico, legato all’essenza dell’uomo, diventerà con Kant il fattore di uguaglianza tra tutti gli esseri viventi, la giustificazione del rispetto reciproco. Il concetto di dignità verrà, poi, definito nel secondo capitolo come il principale valore che deve ispirare l’azione sociale delle imprese, come l’elemento che garantisce il rispetto di ogni dipendente che prima ancora di essere un lavoratore è un essere umano. La dignità è ciò che rende l’essere umano degno di essere considerato un fine in se stesso piuttosto che un mezzo per il raggiungimento di un fine esterno. Nell’era della globalizzazione, dove il denaro è il valore principale, gli esseri umani rischiano di diventare un mezzo al servizio dell’economia. A questo punto, il rispetto della dignità deve divenire il fondamento di un ambiente di lavoro che promuove la crescita e la fioritura dell’essere umano. Nel secondo capitolo cercherò quindi di dimostrare come l’idea di dignità possa promuovere un management “umanistico” centrato sul rispetto dell’essere umano. Un’impresa socialmente responsabile può promuovere il rispetto di ogni lavoratore se fa propri i valori di dignità e uguaglianza. Attraverso la teoria dello Humanistic Management che veicola tali valori, il lavoro diventa un luogo in cui l’uomo può esprimere se stesso, la sua identità, le sue conoscenze e competenze. Inoltre, dal momento che la popolazione sta invecchiando, le aziende devono farsi carico della forza lavoro più anziana, come è emerso sopra. A questo punto, nel terzo capitolo, il concetto della Responsabilità Sociale d’Impresa sarà analizzato nel suo legame con i temi dell’invecchiamento attivo e della diversità sul posto di lavoro. Conosciamo diverse ragioni di differenza a lavoro: genere, cultura, etnia, competenze, ma qui ci concentreremo sul fattore età. È naturale che i lavoratori anziani abbiano un’idea di lavoro diversa da quella dei giovani e che le loro abilità siano differenti. Ma questa diversità non deve essere valutata come migliore o peggiore: essa dipende da fattori che analizzeremo e che l’impresa socialmente responsabile conosce e valorizza per creare un ambiente di lavoro stimolante e collaborativo, eliminando possibili conflitti intergenerazionali. Alcune delle teorie che permettono di raggiungere tali obiettivi sono il Diversity Management e l’Age Management: ogni impresa può promuovere pratiche per valorizzare gli anziani, permettendo loro di rimanere più a lungo attivi e proattivi a lavoro e di condividere le proprie conoscenze e competenze. L’ultimo capitolo della tesi si concentrerà su un caso di azienda italiana che ha sviluppato uno strumento di valorizzazione di collaboratori over 65. Sto parlando della Loccioni, presso cui ho svolto la ricerca applicata e che promuove il progetto Silverzone, un network di persone in pensione che hanno conosciuto l’azienda nel corso della loro carriera e che continuano a collaborare con essa ancora dopo il pensionamento. Per capire l’impatto qualitativo e quantitativo che il progetto ha sull’azienda, ho portato avanti un’analisi qualitativa dei dati ottenuti grazie a due tipi di questionari. Il primo ha visto il coinvolgimento dei 16 managers della Loccioni a cui sono state sottoposte le seguenti domande: 1. Chi sono i silver nella tua area di business? Quali i progetti in cui essi sono coinvolti? 2. Qual è il valore del loro supporto per l’azienda? E, allo stesso tempo, quali sono le difficoltà che possono incontrarsi durante queste collaborazioni? 3. Qual è la frequenza degli incontri con i silver? 4. Perché l’azienda ha bisogno di questo network? Successivamente, ho sottoposto un altro questionario agli 81 silver della rete. Di seguito i dettagli: 1. Qual è il tuo nome? 2. Dove sei nato? 3. Dove vivi? 4. Qual è stato il tuo percorso formativo? 5. Qual è stata la tua carriera professionale? 6. Come e con chi è avvenuto il primo contatto Loccioni? 7. Come sei venuto a conoscenza del progetto Silverzone? 8. Con quali dei collaboratori Loccioni stai lavorando? 9. In quali progetti sei coinvolto? 10. Potresti descrivere il progetto in tre parole? 11. Che significato ha per te fare parte di questa rete? 12. Nella tua opinione, come deve essere il Silver? 13. Che tipo di relazioni hai con i collaboratori Loccioni? 14. Quali dimensioni umane (dono, relazione, comunità, rispetto) e professionali (innovazione, tecnologia, rete) emergono lavorando in questo progetto? Il progetto Silverzone è sicuramente una buona pratica di Age Management per mantenere più a lungo attivi i lavoratori over 65. I progetti in cui i Silver sono coinvolti hanno un importante impatto economico sull’impresa, in termini di investimento ma anche di guadagno. Ad ogni modo, qui la necessità di fare profitto, stando a quanto è emerso dai risultati delle interviste, è subordinata al più alto valore del rispetto dei bisogni umani che diventa garante di un posto di lavoro comfortable, dove si riesce a stringere relazioni piacevoli, collaborative e produttive.

This chapter uses the example of the Anglo-American writer Renée Vivien (Pauline Tarn, 1877-1909) to explore what it might mean to claim a lesbian identity at the turn of the nineteenth century. The child of an English father and an American mother who chose France as her primary residence, Vivien embodied a transnational existence. But for those with her class privilege, national boundaries were often flexible, as illustrated by the fact that, while she travelled extensively, Vivien may never have possessed a passport. On the one hand, such an evasion of national belonging may have been liberating, but perhaps at the cost of a sense of shared (sexual communtity) community.

Le roman des frères Goncourt dédié à la bourgeoisie, Renée Mauperin (1864) met en place différentes scènes dans lesquelles la jeune Renée doit faire face aux attentes de sa famille et de son entourage, la bourgeoisie des années 1850, et ainsi, incontournablement, un long et minutieux portrait de cette jeune femme se dessine tout au long des pages. L’accent est mis sur l’absurde éducation que le XIXᵉ siècle impose à ces jeunes demoiselles à marier, rompues aux arts d’agrément et à toutes les délicatesses comme si elles devaient vivre à la Cour. La jeune Renée transgresse les interdits imposés par les mœurs, et manifeste des excentricités inquiétantes. Comme pour la plupart des romans des Goncourt, Renée Mauperin commence au milieu d’un dialogue, et tout l’intérêt se concentre sur le langage des personnages ; c’est donc la première scène du roman, celle de la baignade dans la Seine, celle qui fit scandale tant par l’audace et la supposée inconvenance de la posture, que par les familiarités pittoresques et malicieuses que Renée y égrène à plaisir, avec une franchise et une gaieté, qualifiées par Nadine Satiat de « rafraîchissantes ». L’agencement des éléments linguistiques de l’écriture artiste des Goncourt, ainsi que les différentes traductions espagnoles du texte, vont nous montrer à quel point la présence de l’eau et du monde imaginaire qu’elle évoque, sont par eux-mêmes des éléments transgresseurs et évocateurs de l’interdit pour les jeunes femmes de l’époque.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.4995/XXVColloqueAFUE.2016.3882
