<p><strong>Abstract</strong>: The purpose of the research is to find out: 1) the moral values contained in the true story of Greg Mortenson. 2) Educational values provided by Greg Mortenson. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a structural approach. The study results are: 1) The moral values in the novel Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin are caring 26.9%, friendly 15.4%, helpful 11.5%, brave 11.5%, hardworking 19.2%, and optimistic 15.4%. The most moral value in the data is caring with 7 data or 26.9%. 2) The educational values contained in the novel Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin are attitudes toward the world of education amounting to 28.6% and the struggle to establish schools 71.4%. The author takes up a critical approach to several concepts presented in the literature of social sci- ences, on so expected problems of public rehabilitation and revitalisation during the active enggement of such subdiscipline as modern social pedagogy. He analyses the local urban space, opposed to spontaneoulness chaos and anomia accured in public structures. The paper warns againt the relin- quishment in local communities of earlier order and the whole social network. It could becme in each posttransformated cociety during the social change. The aim of the paper was to mobilise on future a public support across education and prophylaxis to avoid a lot of individual and collective traumatic and neurostic feelings.

PURPOSE: This study assessed the shear bond strength of 4 hard chairside reline resins (Kooliner, Tokuso Rebase Fast, Duraliner II, Ufi Gel Hard) to a rapid polymerizing denture base resin (QC-20) processed using 2 polymerization cycles (A or B), before and after thermal cycling. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Cylinders (3.5 mm x 5.0 mm) of the reline resins were bonded to cylinders of QC-20 polymerized using cycle A (boiling water-20 minutes) or B (boiling water; remove heat-20 minutes; boiling water-20 minutes). For each reline resin/polymerization cycle combination, 10 specimens (groups CAt e CBt) were thermally cycled (5 and 55 ºC; dwell time 30 seconds; 2,000 cycles); the other 10 were tested without thermal cycling (groups CAwt ad CBwt). Shear bond tests (0.5 mm/min) were performed on the specimens and the failure mode was assessed. Data were analyzed by 3-way ANOVA and Newman-Keuls post-hoc test (alpha=.05). RESULTS: QC-20 resin demonstrated the lowest bond strengths among the reline materials (P<.05) and mainly failed cohesively. Overall, the bond strength of the hard chairside reline resins were similar (10.09±1.40 to 15.17±1.73 MPa) and most of the failures were adhesive/cohesive (mixed mode). However, Ufi Gel Hard bonded to QC-20 polymerized using cycle A and not thermally cycled showed the highest bond strength (P<.001). When Tokuso Rebase Fast and Duraliner II were bonded to QC-20 resin polymerized using cycle A, the bond strength was increased (P=.043) after thermal cycling. CONCLUSIONS: QC-20 displayed the lowest bond strength values in all groups. In general, the bond strengths of the hard chairside reline resins were comparable and not affected by polymerization cycle of QC-20 resin and thermal cycling.

Анотація:
The consolidation and conservation of earthen sites is one of the difficult problems at home and abroad. Tianluoshan relic sites is a typical earthen sites located at humid circumstances. For public exhibitions and research purposes, a few chemical grouts were recommended for solidification and conservation of the excavated historical heritage sites. In this paper, the potential application of methyl acrylic acid resin for strengthening Tianluoshan relic soils were evaluated by a series of unconfined compression tests considering the influence of curing condition, curing time, and water content. The results showed that methyl acrylic acid resin can effectively improve the strength of Tianluoshan relic soils.

Tianluoshan relic sites is a typical earthen sites located at moisture circumstances, where craking, chalking, flaking and mould are the main geological diseases after excavation. For public exhibition and long-term preservation purpose, chemical stabilization were required. In this study, the potential application of methyl acrylic acid resin for solidification of Tianluoshan relic soils were evaluated by a series of laboratory permeation tests. The main considered influence factors include: dry density, initial water content and degree of saturation. The results show that the permeation effect of methyl acrylic acid resin were greatly related with dry density and initial water content of the earthen soils, the practical application guidance are also presented.

Анотація:
Candida albicans (C. Albicans) is one of the bacteria that reside in the oral cavity, and the ones living in medical and commercial denture resins, commonly cause diseases. Therefore, this study was conducted to confirm the antibacterial activity of C. Albicans using a denture base resin containing peony extract with antibacterial properties. Contact angle measurements and color change measurements were performed to confirm the physical change of the material added with the antibacterial agent to the denture reline resin. As a result of the antibacterial test, the experimental group exhibited antibacterial activity against C. Albicans. Compared to the optical density results, the results of the experimental group showed a significant difference. As a result of Fluorescent images showing (confocal laser microscope), the control group showed a lot of live bacteria, and no bacteria appeared in the experimental group. All group did not show any physical changes. As a result of the contact angle measurement, the surface of the experimental group was changed to hydrophilic. In addition, there was no change in the color of the denture reline resin containing peony extract. In conclusion, it was confirmed that the peony extract contained antibacterial activity of the denture resin, and further studies should be conducted on various bacteria for denture base resin disinfection.

In a new method for measurement of inactive rat plasma renin, the trypsin generated angiotensin I immunoreactive material, which was HPLC characterized as similar to tetradecapeptide renin substrate, is removed by a cation exchange resin before the renin incubation step. The method also corrects for trypsin destruction of endogenous angiotensinogen by the addition of exogenous angiotensinogen. When measured with this method inactive renin in rat plasma decreased after nephrectomy and increased after adrenalectomy. This is in accordance with findings in humans. A sexual dimorphism of prorenin (inactive renin) in rat plasma, similar to that reported in humans and mice, was demonstrated. Thus, inactive renin in the rat is no exception among species, and the rat might be a suitable animal model for further studies dealing with the physiology of prorenin in plasma and tissues.Key words: angiotensinogen, inactive renin, renin.

Знайдено шляхи модернізації механізмів компенсації прогину валка і перехрещення валків. Проведено порівняльні розрахунки базових конструкцій та модернізованої а також параметричні, кінематичні, теплові розрахунки та розрахунки на міцність, які підтверджують працездатність агрегату та доцільність обраної модернізації. Розроблено start-up проект в якому були проаналізовані всі можливості та загрози майбутнього виробництва, визначено сильні та слабкі сторони за рахунок яких є можливість виходу на провідні позиції в виробництві лінолеуму та реліну.
After conducting literature and patent examinations, ways were found to modernize the mechanisms for compensating the roll deflection and the intersection of the rolls. Comparative calculations of basic structures and modernized, as well as parametric, kinematic, thermal calculations and strength calculations, confirming the efficiency of the unit and the feasibility of the selected modernization, are carried out. A start-up project was developed in which all the possibilities and threats of future production were analyzed, strengths and weaknesses were identified due to which it is possible to reach leading positions in the production of linoleum and relien. developed a scheme of automation and measures of labor protection.

Проведены сравнительные расчеты базовых конструкций и модернизированной а также параметрические, кинематические, тепловые расчеты и расчеты на прочность, подтверждающие работоспособность агрегата и целесообразность выбранной модернизации. Разработан start-up проект в котором были проанализированы все возможности и угрозы будущего производства, определены сильные и слабые стороны за счет которых есть возможность выхода на ведущие позиции в производстве линолеума и релина.

During the past thirty years, investigators of the renin-angiotensin system have found renin-like substances in a number of non-traditional locations throughout mammalian systems. These renin-like substances have been found in virtually every component of the brain, as well as the salivary glands, adrenal glands, blood vessels, genital tracts of both males and females, tumor cell lines, and even the eyeball and retina. This thesis is a literary review which will focus on extrarenal renin sources located in the uterus and the testis. These two locations are of particular interest because of the probable function in the regulation of the reproductive cycle. In addition, information on submaxillary gland renin and brain renin will also be discussed but to a lesser extent than uterine and Leydig Cell renin. Extrarenal renin sources have been tagged as renin-like enzymes, or more popularly as isorenins, because immunologically they react as true renin does. The immunoreactivity of these isorenins has been detected by a number of methods which include immunohistochemistry, specific staining characteristics of immunolabelling, native gel electrophoresis, sodium dodecyl sulfate gel electrophoresis, isoelectric focusing, double immunodiffusion, and symmetric chromatographic elution patterns. Extensive research in this area is still underway. Numerous modes of detection are being used to evaluate the specific sites of synthesis for these extrarenal renin sources, as well as their release mechanisms and physiological roles. Undoubtedly, the data resulting from these investigations will reveal significant information regarding these non-traditional renin sources and their clinical relevance in the treatment of hypertension.

Compression Resin Transfer Molding (CRTM) is an advanced liquid molding process for producing continuous fiber-reinforced composite parts in relatively large dimensions and with high fiber volume fractions. This thesis investigates this process for the purpose of producing continuous fiber reinforced composites with particle fillers. In many composites, fillers are used within the resin for various reasons such as cost reduction and improvement of properties. However, the presence of fillers in a process involving resin impregnation through a fibrous medium can result in a composite with non-homogeneous microstructure and properties. This work aims to model the resin impregnation and particle filtration during injection and compression stages of the process. For this purpose, a previously developed particle filtration model is adapted to CRTM. An appropriate commercial software tool is used for numerical solution after a survey of available packages. The process is analyzed based on the developed model for various process scenarios. The results of this study aim to enhance the understanding of particle-filled resin impregnation and particle filtration phenomena in the CRTM process and are likely to be used towards designing optimum process configurations for a desired outcome in the future.

Helical assemblies of proteins are ubiquitous in nature and they perform vital functions in a wide range of organisms. The recent development of direct electron detectors and other imaging techniques in cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) has opened new possibilities in solving helical structures at atomic resolution. Existing software packages for helical processing often require experience in tuning many ad hoc parameters to achieve optimal reconstruction results. REgularised LIkelihood OptimisatioN (RELION), an open-source single-particle analysis package, reduces the need for user expertise by the formulation of an empirical Bayesian framework, and has yielded some of the highest resolution density maps in recent years. Prior information about the helical assemblies can be conveniently incorporated into the statistical framework of RELION and thereby improves the helical reconstructions. This PhD thesis describes the development of a helical processing computation workflow with reduced user intervention in RELION. Chapter 1 introduces the theoretical basis of cryo-EM data acquisition and single-particle data processing, the concepts of helical symmetry, and a previously described method for iterative real-space reconstruction of helical assemblies, to which the RELION implementation bears resemblance. Chapter 2 discusses multiple adaptations to RELION that are necessary for helical processing. Key elements include the imposition and local refinement of helical symmetry, masks on helical segments and references, expressions of angular and translational prior information, manual and automated segment picking as well as initial model generation for helices. Calculations have been performed on four test data sets showing that the developed methods in RELION yield results that are as good as or better than alternative approaches for the tests performed. Chapter 3 describes the same methodology adapted to helical sub-tomogram averaging in RELION. Chapter 4 introduces the local symmetry option developed for special types of filaments with pseudo-helical symmetry. The concept can be extended to general single-particle analysis as well. Chapter 5 describes four helical structures determined in collaboration with other research groups using helical RELION for data processing. Chapter 6 concludes the thesis with a brief summary and future prospects.
