Filial piety is an important cultural construct in the lives and behaviors of Chinese emerging adults and may act as a moderating factor for the relationship between perceived parenting practices and indices of adjustment. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether or not filial piety moderates the influence of psychologically controlling and warm parenting behaviors on internalizing problems, self-esteem, and risk behaviors. Using a sample of Chinese college students ( N = 612), results from regression analyses indicated that filial piety moderated the relationship between psychological control and self-esteem, in that psychological control predicted lower self-esteem at high and moderate levels of filial piety values but was not related at low filial piety values. The discussion focuses on the possibility that filial piety may exacerbate the conflict between psychologically controlling tactics and autonomy.

Cognitive flexibility (CF), a subdomain of executive functioning (EF), involves abilities such as set shifting and reversal learning. Some variability in CF is normative across youth due to the gradual refinement of broader EF along with the prefrontal cortex. Prior research has suggested that a supportive parenting environment contributes to strong EF, whereas harsh/controlling parenting is associated with deficits. The current investigation explores whether certain parenting practices (e.g., parental accommodation, over-involvement, modeling) are associated with such deficits. Anxiogenic parenting and CF were assessed in 112 youth aged 9 to 17 years, with results demonstrating that parenting practices were not predictive of CF in these youth. Age accounted for the majority of differences in set shifting performance, potentially emphasizing the influence of parenting at different stages of development. Accordingly, future research is necessary to determine the potential impact of anxiogenic parenting at specific points in the development of CF.

Background: Reward sensitivity has been associated with adolescents’ intake of unhealthy snacks and sugar-sweetened beverages. However, so far, there are no studies published describing the impact of parenting practices on this relationship. The present study will, therefore, investigate whether food parenting practices can moderate the association between reward sensitivity and diet intakes. Method: A cross-sectional research study was conducted among 14- to 16-year old Flemish adolescents (n = 867, age 14.7 ± 0.8 y, 48.1% boys) and a subset of their parents (n = 131), collecting data on daily intakes, reward sensitivity, and food parenting practices. Linear regression was used to assess the moderation effect of parenting practices (both adolescent- and parent-reported) on the relationship between reward sensitivity, and diet using SPSS 25.0. Results: In the main analysis (adolescent-reported), no significant moderation effects were found for parenting practices on the relationship between reward sensitivity and diet. However, the sensitivity analysis (parent-reported) showed a moderation effect for health-reducing parenting practices on the association between reward sensitivity and unhealthy snack intake (β = 0.297, 95% CI = 0.062, 0.531, p = 0.01). Conclusion: Given the difference in the effect of parenting practices between the adolescent- and parent-reported data, our inconclusive findings warrant more research in larger adolescent-parent dyad samples.

Introduction: Studies have shown significant associations between parenting practices, life satisfaction, and self-esteem, and the role of parenting practices in adolescent adjustment, emphasizing its influence on wellbeing. Objectives: To analyze the relationships between parenting practices, self-esteem, and life satisfaction, and test the mediating effect of self-esteem on the relationship between the different parenting practices and life satisfaction of adolescents. Method: The sample came to a total of 742 adolescents, with an average age of 15.63 (SD = 1.24; range 13–19). The Parenting Style Scale, the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, and the Satisfaction with Life Scale were used. Results: Perception by adolescents of high levels of affect and communication, self-disclosure, and a sense of humor related to their parents, as well as low levels of psychological control, explained the life satisfaction of the adolescents. Self-esteem exerted a partial mediating effect on the relationship between parenting practices and satisfaction with the life of the adolescent. Finally, self-esteem also appeared to be a moderator variable, specifically in the effect of self-disclosure on the life satisfaction of the adolescent. Conclusions: The results reinforce the role of personal variables, especially self-esteem, in parent-child interaction and in the improved subjective wellbeing of the adolescent.

A growing anti-immigrant context has increased the discrimination Latino immigrant families confront in the United States. This study examines the relationship between discrimination and Latinos’ parenting practices. Using cross-sectional data on parenting practices, discrimination, immigration-related factors, and protective factors among Latino immigrant families, we conduct a latent profile analysis to (a) identify profiles of perceived discrimination, (b) assess the role of protective mechanisms in predicting discrimination profiles, and (c) examine the relationship between discrimination profiles and parenting outcomes. The findings revealed a four-class solution, Low Discrimination, Institutional and Language Discrimination, Moderate Discrimination, and High Discrimination. Parents in the High Discrimination profile experienced lower levels of monitoring, consistent discipline, and higher levels of harsh disciplining compared with the other profiles. Overall, this article has implications for effective family functioning given that parental discrimination may influence parenting practices, which has direct consequences on parent–child relationships.

There are many ways in which an individual may fail as a parent. Most parents have good intentions, but that’s the exact reason why there’s an urgent need to clarify good parenting practices. This paper will look at risky parenting practices (e.g., guilt-inducing criticism) and their relationship with psychopathology (depression and anxiety, in this case) using socially prescribed perfectionism as a mediator. All eight mediations turned out to be statistically significant with six out of eight analyses being full mediations. Also, the relationships between the facets of perfectionism, depression, and anxiety are consistent with the findings of other studies up until this point. Considering the relationship between socially prescribed perfectionism and psychopathology, practical implications are discussed.

Parental conflict and divorce trends have been increasing over the years and hinder parents from nurturing their children, particularly fathers. Fathers are more likely to disengage in parenting after a divorce. This may affect children in their romantic relationships in later life. This study aimed to examine the effects of parental conflict and divorce and father parenting practices towards self-efficacy in romantic relationships of young adults male. The study applied quantitative methods with correlational, comparative, and regression analysis. 62 male and single young adults whose parents were divorced before the age of 18 were involved and chosen with purposive sampling. The data was collected by using the children's perception of interparental conflict scale (α=0.92), parental acceptance-rejection questionnaire (α=0.86), and self-efficacy in romantic relationship scale (α=0.89). The results revealed that there is a partial correlation between parental conflict intensity and relationship anxiety and other aspects related to the self-efficacy of young male adults. Paired t-test illustrated differences in self-efficacy in romantic relationships based on individual characteristics and father parenting practices (negative). Regression analysis also demonstrated a significant effect of father parenting practices, both positive and negative, towards self-efficacy in romantic relationships. In conclusion, the efficacy of romantic relationships in early adulthood from divorced families is influenced by negative paternal parenting.

AbstractModerate and severe pediatric traumatic brain injuries (TBI) are associated with significant familial distress and child adaptive sequelae. Our aim was to examine the relationship between parental psychological distress, parenting practices (authoritarian, permissive, authoritative), and child adaptive functioning 12–36 months following TBI or orthopedic injury (OI). Injury type was hypothesized to moderate the relationship between parental distress and child adaptive functioning, demonstrating a significantly stronger relationship in the TBI relative to OI group. Authoritarian parenting practices were hypothesized to mediate relationship between parental distress and child adaptive functioning across groups. Groups (TBIn= 21, OIn= 23) did not differ significantly on age at injury, time since injury, sex, race, or SES. Parents completed the Brief Symptom Inventory, Parenting Practices Questionnaire, and Vineland-II. Moderation and mediation hypotheses were tested using hierarchical multiple regression and a bootstrapping approach, respectively. Results supported moderation and revealed that higher parental psychological distress was associated with lower child adaptive functioning in the TBI group only. Mediation results indicated that higher parental distress was associated with authoritarian parenting practices and lower adaptive functioning across groups. Results suggest that parenting practices are an important area of focus for studies attempting to elucidate the relationship between parent and child functioning following TBI. The first institution in which a child interacts with his/her social environment is the family. At this point, parenting practices take their place as an important concept in the literature. The concept of social competence is based on the interaction of individuals with sociocultural contexts such as family, school, and peer relations. Early childhood is a critical phase for promoting social competence in children. In this sense, the research examines the relationship between the parenting practices of parents and their children's social development. A relational screening method was used in the quantitative designed research. In the first step of the study, the validity and reliability analyses of the Social Skills Scale for Preschool Children (SSS) were made. 301 parents participated in the analyses. In the second step of the study, the relationship between children's social development indicators and their parents' parenting practices was examined. In this context, 226 children and their parents participated in this study. In the study, the Personal Information Form, and SSS filled by teachers for children to evaluate children's social skills, and the Parenting Practices Scale-Preschool Form to evaluate parenting practices of the parents of the children participating in the research were used. It was concluded that the SSS for preschool children, which was adapted into Turkish within the scope of the study, consisted of three sub-dimensions. These are; cooperation, self-control, and interpersonal relationships. According to the results of the reliability analysis of the scale, the total α coefficient was .96, while the total variance explained because of the construct validity was 69,66. According to the results of the research, the SSS consisting of 3 factors and 24 items adapted into Turkish is a valid and reliable tool. In the study, the correlation value between the scales was also calculated to examine the relationship between children's social development indicators and their parents' parenting practices, and no significant relationship was found between the scales.

Reducing rates of overweight and obesity in children remains a prominent public health priority. Parents have been shown to be a major influence on their children’s weight-related behaviors and weight status, but limited research has been devoted to exploring the factors that lead parents to select certain weight-related parenting practices over another. Past research has demonstrated a link between weight stigma (i.e., prejudicial attitudes or discriminatory behavior targeted at individuals who carry excess weight) and an individual’s own weight-related behaviors and outcomes, but no study has examined how parental levels of weight stigma may affect weight-related parenting practices. The primary objective of this study was to examine the cross-sectional associations between parental levels of weight-based stigmatization with parental feeding practices and parental support for physical activity. Responses were collected on Amazon’s Mechanical Turk website for n = 406 parents who 1) had at least one child aged 5-10 and 2) perceived themselves to be overweight or obese. After adjusting for relevant covariates, parental weight stigma was shown to be significantly associated with restrictive feeding practices, verbal modeling of eating behaviors, unintentional modeling of eating behaviors, child unhealthy snack consumption, and explicit modeling of physical activity (all ps < .05). A priori exploratory mediation analysis identified concern about child weight as a significant mediator between weight stigma and parental feeding practices. A discussion of the potential limitations of this study, future directions of research, and implications of these findings are included.

An independent learner is one who actively takes responsibility for his or her own acquisition of knowledge, skills, and expertise. The capacity to self-regulate oneâ s own learning is a necessity for success in higher education. Researchers have found that characteristics of independent learners begin to emerge in young children and continue to develop throughout childhood and adolescence as students grow into self-governing adults. The purpose of this study is to assess students' levels of independent learning attitudes and behaviors and to examine the relationships among parents' actions, family structure, independent learning, and academic achievement. Using a national sample of 10th grade students from the Education Longitudinal Study of 2002, several statistical analyses were performed in order to answer these research questions: 1. How do parents' actions relate to children's independent learning characteristics? 2. How do students' independent learning behaviors and attitudes correlate with their academic achievement? 3. How are parents' actions associated with their children's academic achievement? 4. Are single-parent children less likely to have developed characteristics of independent learning by grade 10 than children living with both of their parents? Exploratory factor analysis was conducted to arrange the available variables into appropriate subscales to be used in the statistical procedures for this study. Canonical correlations were used to measure the magnitude of relationships between three pairs of concepts: parents' actions and students' independent learning; students' independent learning and academic achievement; and parents' actions and students' academic achievement. Structural equation modeling was employed to test the hypothesized model of relationships among parents' actions, students' independent learning behaviors, and academic achievement. Finally, multivariate analysis of variance was used to compare the independent learning scores of students living in four different family structures to determine if a significant difference in the development of independent learning between groups exists. Results suggest actions that parents can take to help their children develop as independent learners and succeed in the academic realm.

In this study, a grounded theory in a qualitative research design was developed to extend the knowledge base of positive parenting practices in homes of Migrant students. The study examined: (a) parenting practices in homes of high-achieving preadolescent students, (b) the impact of high mobility and school transitions, (c) family language and literacy practices, (d) cultural and historical contexts of parenting practices, and (e) parents' perspectives about what is happening in the schools. Literature was reviewed to learn about families of cultural and linguistic diversity from middle class Anglo students and staff. Categories that developed from the research of literature included: (a) education and the future, (b) family literacy and learning, (c) mentors and role models, and (d) family values and family communication. Interviews were conducted after cross-cultural research techniques were used to decenter the languages. Parents of fourteen students responded to the interviews and a checklist for the home learning environment. Three administrators were interviewed to gain their perspective of the school program for Migrant students and opportunities for parent involvement. The findings were reported in three categories: (a) parenting practices in the home, (b) parent perspective of school learning environments, and (c) the home-school partnership. Conclusions were based on the parents' responses, but most responses related literacy and learning directly to the school. School administrators provided information about basic programs and supplementary services. Six recommendations were made to other parents of Migrant students and for administrators and other school leaders. Recommendations to parents included: (a) specific and direct communication with children from an early age, (b) support for children's homework, schoolwork, and other responsibilities, and (c) counseling about positive mentors, role models, and friends. Recommendations for administrators included: (d) the need for early childhood education programs, services, and communication with parents, (e) provision of extra-curricular activities for all preadolescent students, and (f) a school culture that welcomes and encourages cultural and linguistic diversity.

Parents of children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) endorse increased levels of parenting stress and subsequently employ ineffective parenting practices. For children with comorbid conduct problems, mothers report more parenting stress than mothers of children with ADHD alone. I investigated the relationships among child ADHD diagnostic status, parenting stress, parenting behaviors (i.e., involvement and positive parenting) and child conduct problems in 78 African American mothers of children with and without ADHD. Mothers completed a demographic questionnaire, a semi-structured clinical interview, the ADHD Rating scale (also completed by teachers), the Impairment Rating Scale, the Parenting Stress Index – Short Form, and the Alabama Parenting Questionnaire. Simultaneous multiple regressions indicated that both child ADHD and conduct problems significantly predicted parenting stress. However, these child variables did not predict parenting behaviors, and child conduct problems did not moderate the association between child ADHD and parenting stress. Results highlight how parenting stress may be the most integral target in psychosocial treatment for African American mothers. Given this, future researchers should longitudinally investigate these relationships and clinicians should ensure parenting stress and child conduct problems are integrated into ADHD treatment.

If the educational agenda No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act is to be successful, teachers, parents and children from all cultural backgrounds have to be involved in the implementation process. This idea of NCLB Act clearly identified with the purpose of this study, which was focused on the evaluation of the parenting practices of Nigerian immigrant parenting practices in preparing their children for college. Five basic parenting theoretical approaches were employed by the researcher to gather, collect and analyze the data. The researcher interviewed and observed the environment of sixteen Nigerian immigrant parents on how they prepare their children for college. One school administrator and one school teacher were interviewed to evaluate their own perception of how Nigerian immigrant parents prepare their children for college. The major results of the findings were proactive parenting strategies. These included Cultural Orientation; Immigrant Experience; Surviving in the United States; Strong Parental Background; Early Childhood Education; Early Emphasis on Education; Close Interest in Children; Regular Supervision of Children; Preservation of Indigenous Culture; Supportive Family Collaboration; Strong Involvement in School Activities; Involvement in Community Organizations; Comparing of the Cultural Values in the United States and Nigeria; and Early Emphasis on Education. The study provided specific recommendations to assist teachers and school administrators in providing support to Nigerian immigrant parents as they prepare their children for college. Suggestions for additional research were provided. The concluding statement hinged on the idea that there are several factors that Nigerian immigrant parents consider beyond the conventional levels in preparing their children for college. Ultimately, proactive parenting is an innovative strategy that demonstrated that all children benefited maximally from the motivation of parents, expertise of teachers and the resources in the environment.

The purpose of this study was to conduct a survey to identify the beliefs and practices of conservative Protestant parents, which assisted in clarifying the assertions in the current literature regarding conservative Protestant parenting. Additionally, this researcher sought to determine the applicability of child parent relationship therapy (CPRT), a filial therapy model based upon the principles of child centered play therapy, for conservative Protestant parents by ascertaining the need for cultural modifications. Beliefs and practices of conservative Protestants were measured using the Protestant Parenting Inventory (PPI), an original instrument developed through a series of focus groups and pilot testings. The population comprised 148 mothers and fathers from 4 Southern Baptist churches in and around the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Exploratory factor analysis was applied to the data in order to increase internal consistency estimates and percent of explained variance. Criterion coding of demographic data allowed a multiple regression analysis to determine which demographic variables were significant predictors of participant responses on the PPI. Descriptive statistics allowed the researcher to investigate the compatibility of conservative Protestants and CPRT. Results of this study both confirm and refute past findings regarding conservative Protestants. Results also revealed the need for some cultural modifications to CPRT in order to make it an acceptable parenting resource for conservative Protestant parents.

African American parents’ use of racial socialization messages has been associated with other parenting practices and behaviors as well as adolescent functioning. This study explored the relationships among racial socialization, general parenting practices (<em>e.g</em>., parental monitoring knowledge, harsh parental discipline, and parent-child relationship) and three psychological outcomes (<em>e.g.</em>, scholastic competence, self-esteem, and externalizing behaviors) among 103 African American adolescents. Based on linear regressions, adolescents’ scholastic competence was positively associated with cultural socialization and negatively associated with promotion of mistrust, but self-esteem and externalizing behaviors were not linked to any racial socialization dimension. Further, cultural socialization was found to be related to each of the general parenting practices. Implications for research on African American parenting behaviors and adolescents’ functioning are discussed.

The challenges of the 21st century impose on today's parent the need to take part in a new type of education, namely, parental education. This type of education takes into account the discipline of the parent, by providing relevant information on: the characteristics of children according to their age, parental typologies with the advantages and disadvantages of each, parenting strategies that ensure streamlining the parent-child relationship, as well as the obstacles encountered in the process of raising and educating the child. The multitude of information stated above, arouses the interest for training parents in the field of parenting, but also the need to implement training programs with a central theme, parental education. Following the application of a focus group interview, which was attended by eight parents whose children are part of primary school, it was found that they are aware of the shortcomings they have, but also of the mistakes they make as parents, concluding that a training program in the field of parental education would be a real guide for parenting. In agreement with the current society, a technological society, it is necessary to design and implement a training program that aims, on the one hand: issues related to parenting, on the other hand, issues related to technological resources, establishing the following objectives: to make some correspondences between the particularities of the children and the parental practices, in the technological era; streamlining the parent-child relationship in the digital age; openness to the use of digital tools; providing the necessary resources for an optimal adaptation of the parent to the digital age.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Early psychosocial stimulation for infants in precarious situations can yield both short- and long-term benefits to cognitive and social development. Comprehensive programmes, covering health, nutrition, and psychosocial stimulation prove most effective in preventing cognitive impairment and enhancing treatment for children with severe acute malnutrition (SAM). The StimNut study assesses the effects of early psychosocial stimulation on maternal mental health and mother-child relationship, as well as the acceptability of integrating such an intervention into the existing Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) nutrition programme in Koutiala, during a 5-week period. METHODS Mixed-methods data were collected through standardised pre- and post- intervention questionnaires and included: a ‘Dusukasi’ screening tool for local perinatal depression-like symptoms; observations of mother-child interactions using an adapted PICCOLO (Parenting Interactions with Children: Checklist of Observations Linked to Outcomes) tool; as well as semi-structured interviews with caregivers, MSF psychosocial workers, and healthcare staff. RESULTS 149 psychosocial stimulation sessions were conducted with 36 families by three supervised MSF psychosocial workers. Perinatal depression symptoms were found in 53% of mothers before the intervention and 28% after the intervention (p=0.001). Positive changes in the mother-child relationship were observed in 83% of families after the 5-week intervention and more frequent and appropriate responses of the caregivers to the child’s emotional state were noted. Positive changes were also perceived by the mothers as the sessions progressed: their sense of parenting skills was strengthened, their children’s health improved, and the other family members became more involved in childcare practices. The intervention also dismantled healthcare staff prejudices towards mothers of children with SAM, fostering a trusting relationship between them. CONCLUSIONS This study demonstrates the positive impact of the early psychosocial stimulation of children with SAM on maternal mental health and the quality of mother-child relationship. As MSF pursues further endeavours in this direction, it is important to recognise the transformative potential these interventions hold for promoting the overall wellbeing of families of children with SAM in humanitarian and low-income countries.

Aspects relating to adoption have not been much in focus of psychology research in Latvia. The aim of the study was to investigate associations between parenting practices, attitude and communication about adoption and child behavior problems in adoptive families raising school-age children, as well as to investigate to what extent parenting practices, attitude and communication about adoption, as well as parent’s perception of adopted child’s adverse childhood experiences explains the internalized and externalized child behavior problems. Participants were 130 adoptive parents (94.6% women and 5.4% men) who are currently raising at least one adopted child between the ages of 7 and 18 (50.8% girls, 49.2% boys). Alabama Parenting Questionnaire, psychological control scale from Block’s Child Rearing Practices Report, parent report form of the Child Behavior Checklist were used in the study, as well as Kirk’s Adoption Questionnaire, which was adapted as part of the study. Results of the study revealed that adverse childhood experience, empathy for the child’s understanding and feelings about adoption, maladaptive parenting practices – inconsistent discipline and low involvement predict internalized behavior problems. On the other hand, poor monitoring/ supervision, psychological control, as well as adverse childhood experience and acknowledgement of differences related to adoption by adoptive parents predict externalized behavior problems. Implications for practice include recommendation to empathize the importance of positive parenting practices during pre and post-adoption trainings for adoptive parents.

Family violence is a critical development challenge in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), carrying high health, social, and economic costs and increasing the risk of perpetuating the cycle of violence across generations. Parenting programs have improved parenting practices in high-income countries. However, evidence for LMICs is sparse. This study evaluates an intervention to reduce coercive parenting implemented by the Ministry of National Security of Jamaica, which targeted caregivers of children aged 6 to 15 in vulnerable communities in the country. Treated caregivers were visited by a parental trainer for six months and invited to three sessions of a group training workshop during that period. We conducted a randomized controlled trial (RCT) to evaluate the interventions impact. Using data from a follow-up survey completed six months after the intervention, we find robust evidence of reduced coercive parenting practices among treated caregivers compared to the control group. The improvement is due to a reduction in the reported likelihood of caregivers yelling and beating their children for misbehaving. The effect is greater for caregivers with higher pre-intervention levels of coercive parenting. The results provide evidence that parenting interventions can effectively reduce coercive parenting among caregivers of school-aged children in highly violent middle-income settings.

The Breaking Ground programme was an 18-month pilot programme to support families and parents in a mana-enhancing process while developing parenting skills and practices, focused on intensive family intervention. Practitioners worked alongside families who were on a trajectory towards having their children placed in state care, with the goal of preventing entry to such care. This research uses a case-study methodology with data collected through interviews with social workers and families involved in the programme. The aims of this research were: 1) to examine the effectiveness of social workers working with families on the Breaking Ground programme; and 2) to examine the effectiveness of social workers providing cultural support for the families on the programme.

Although there is ample support for the causal link between home visit parenting programs and child development outcomes, few studies have explored what it is that drives this relationship -to what extent home visit programs are implemented as designed in terms of the content and strategies used by home visitors. To our knowledge, comparable data on the quality and fidelity of implementation in home visit programs in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) does not exist. In light of this gap, this note presents a snapshot of home visit quality in seven countries inwhich home visits reach a considerable number of children. Using an observational checklist tool, we find strong rapport between visitors and families, and consistent involvement of caregivers and children in practicing activities during the visit. However, visitors rarely explain the importance of these activities in relation to child development, often times do not bring the necessary materials, and do little to encourage meaningful dialogue and feedback from caregivers nor demonstrate the desired activity or behavior. Only one third of the observed visitors emphasized language development throughout the visit. It is important to emphasize that these results are not generalizable due to the small and non-random nature of the sample of home visits observed. Nonetheless, this study serves as a pilot of the instrument and type of domains that can and should be measured in a home visit program in order to ensure implementation quality.

Review question / Objective: The proposed scoping review aims to identify and map the current evidence base on (1) the range of parent and child determinants of attachment in child ADHD, (2) the mental health and functional outcomes for the child, and (3) the breadth, components and methods of existing psychological parenting intervention approaches that seek to improve or monitor attachment in children with ADHD. In doing so, we also aim to determine the scope of the current body of knowledge on this topic, identify gaps in the literature, and provide recommendations for future research. In addition, as this review forms part of a larger research project, it is anticipated that the results will also help to inform the development and tailoring of future intervention approaches for improving the attachment relationship in childhood ADHD. Primary and sub-questions were developed to guide the specific inclusion criteria for the scoping review (detailed below). These questions were based on the Population, Concept and Context (PCC) mnemonic recommended by the Joanna Briggs Institute (Peters et al., 2015) and are as follows: 1. What are the determinants of attachment quality in children diagnosed with ADHD? a. What are the parent determinants of attachment quality in children diagnosed with ADHD? b. What are the child determinants of attachment quality in children diagnosed with ADHD? 2. What are the child outcomes of attachment quality in children diagnosed with ADHD? a. What are the mental health outcomes of attachment quality in children diagnosed with ADHD? b. What are the functional outcomes of attachment quality in children diagnosed with ADHD? 3. What existing psychological parenting intervention approaches seek to improve attachment quality in children diagnosed with ADHD? a. What are the intervention components and methods?
