Анотація:
Focusing on the dual-channel supply chain with live broadcasts selling, this paper investigates the service overflow of live broadcasts with Stackelberg game perspective and the impact of retailers’ different market potentials on the pricing decisions of dual-channel members. Meanwhile, it also evaluates the pricing strategy of online retailers after introducing KOL (Key Opinion Leader) live broadcasts. The results show that when one of the dual-channel retailers adopts live broadcast sales, the live broadcast service overflow will have an adverse impact on it, but the degree of the impact depends on the market potential of supply chain members, and different power structures can be used to offset the adverse impact of live broadcast service overflow. Then, the live broadcast sales service overflow will have a certain beneficial impact on online retailers under certain circumstances. Furthermore, with the increase of live broadcast sales service overflow, the retail prices of both companies will decline, while the live broadcast sales service overflow is more beneficial for consumers.

This research is motivated by the rapid development of online media. Radio strives for its broadcasts to continue to be of interest to listeners. The aim of the research is to see El-Dity radio's efforts to improve broadcast quality in the face of mass media competition. The research method is qualitative with data collection of observations, interviews, and documentation. Observations were made at the El-Dity radio studio, while the interview informants were the director and broadcaster of the bulletin program, the person in charge of reporting, and the broadcasters of El-Dity radio. The results of the study found that El-Dity radio had tried to improve the quality of bulletin broadcasts in order to face mass media competition, by selecting news that was interesting, broadcast worthy, up to date, and packaged in an attractive manner. Broadcasters try to present the news clearly, and another thing that El-Dity radio does to improve the quality of its bulletin broadcasts is to divide its broadcast segmentation with various types of regional, national and international news.

Recently, there has been a notable rise in binge drinking and in the popularity of eating broadcasts via TV and online platforms, especially in Korea. This study analyzed the moderating effect of the eating broadcast viewing experience on the relationship between binge drinking and obesity-related eating behaviors. Cross-sectional self-reported online survey data were collected from 1125 Korean adults. Moderation models for restrained, emotional, and external eating behaviors were tested using moderation analyses with Hayes’s PROCESS version 3.5 compatible with SPSS. As a result, the eating broadcast viewing experience moderated the relationship between binge drinking frequency and external eating (Fchange = 2.686, p = 0.045). More frequent binge drinking was associated with a higher level of external eating in participants who only watched online eating broadcasts, especially among women. Participants in their twenties showed the same above association; additionally, those who only watched TV eating broadcasts showed an inverse association, indicating that more frequent binge drinking was associated with a lower level of external eating. Consequently, an eating broadcast viewing experience was one of the environmental factors associated with binge drinking that influences obesity-related eating behaviors.

Radio internet memiliki sebuah media broadcast yang dapatmenyediakan saluran audio terus menerus dan tidak ada kontroloperasional penyiaran seperti media penyiaran tradisional padaumumnya.Cara yang digunakan untuk menyiarkan radio internet adalah melaluiteknologi broadcast, yaitu teknologi yang dapat menerima sertamengirim informasi dari satu pihak ke pihak lain menggunakan alatyang dapat menerima aliran media broadcast tersebut juga. Teknologibroadcast ini menggunakan lossy audiocodec, yaitu program komputeryang berfungsi untuk mengkompres audio maupun video berdasarkandata yang diformat melalui broadcast suara ke radio internet dan untukdatabase sever di gunakan MySQL.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang model dan membuat sebuahprogram aplikasi broadcast radio online dalam android mobile.Luarandari penelitian ini dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi pengguna androidmobile dalam mengakses broadcast radio online, memberikankemudahan bagi pengguna android dalam menikmati fasilitas yangdiberikan broadcast radio online, dengan program broadcast radio onlineini memudahkan pengguna android untuk mendapatkan music, radio,membuat suatu program dengan menggunakan software Java.

As a new teaching mode, online courses have become one of the most important teaching methods in higher education. At present, there are still some shortcomings in online course live broadcast teaching platform including insufficient hardware support, low flexibility and weak interactivity. Meanwhile, during the entire online course teaching process, teachers do not know the overall learning effect of students in real time to determine the next teaching plan. This study presented a real-time interactive technology to enhance the interactive of the entire online course broadcast teaching platform. At the same time, it combined a monitoring method for online course terminals, servers and learning process to demonstrate students’ learning effect in the whole online course learning process, and finally built the online course broadcast teaching platform. The practice test in teaching shows that the online course broadcast teaching platform can improve the teaching effect among students, which is of great significance for the improvement of teaching quality.

The main aim of the paper is to discuss the scale and nature of the practice of transmitting Holy Mass by parishes of the Roman Catholic Church in Poland through online live-streaming in spring 2020. The authors analyse these issues in a multifaceted and interdisciplinary way, mainly within the framework of communication and media studies and theology. The methodology of the paper combines practical theology (its four stages: “see-judge-act-review”), scientific methods applicable to social studies (especially social communication and media studies and sociological studies), and the technical aspect of communication activities (in the form of live video streaming) performed by parishes on the Internet. As it turns out, 40.8% of Polish parishes carried out online Mass broadcasts. In most cases, the main sources of broadcast signal were YouTube (18.9%) and Facebook (18.7%), while less than 5% of the parishes conducted technically independent broadcasts. The research showed a statistically significant correlation between online Mass broadcasting and the region of Poland. There was a statistically significant difference between the parish size and Mass broadcasting—the larger the parish, the more often such activities were performed; a similar correlation was observed between urban and rural parishes. Research has shown that in the dioceses where bishops directly encouraged parish priests to broadcast from their parishes, the average percentage of broadcasts was higher (46%) than in those in which there were no such incentives (38%). There was a statistically significant relationship between having a website and conducting online Mass broadcasting. Similarly, there was a statistically significant relationship between the type of parish (conventual–diocesan) and online Mass broadcasting. Conventual parishes did this much more often than diocesan ones (68.6% and 38.9% respectively).

The media has always gone through changes, starting from the era of the Gutenberg printing press several centuries ago, to the introduction of radio and television in the last 100 years. In the last two decades, Internet and digital technologies have rapidly transformed the media and reshaped how news is gathered and disseminated, and re-defined audiences and their role in the media. Before the Internet, news dissemination was scheduled and periodic, for example the 6pm television bulletin or weekly newspaper. Today news is now global and published in 24/7 round the clock news cycles. At this time, there were clear demarcations between radio, television and newspapers, which were all separate entities. These demarcations have largely fallen away as all media have migrated online to publish on the same platform, using the same elements such as text, audio and video. Increasingly, television is migrating online to the degree that forecasts predict that online television will eclipse traditional TV as we now know it, just as much as online newspapers have eclipsed traditional newspapers. This debate is widely contested In pre-Internet days, the media had distinct demarcations between the media owners, news gatherers (and production people), like journalists, and the audience. These demarcations are blurring as audiences increasingly participate in the media resulting in the emergence of a new breed of journalists; the citizen journalist. This is the most popular term used to describe these new journalists. The dynamic nature of the online platform and functionalities like Web 2.0 made it possible for anyone to publish themselves online, on a blog, on social networking sites or to set up their own website, at very little or no cost. This has spurred a lot of creativity, and the wider public has created vast amounts of content such as video, audio and text and submitted or published them online. Consequently, content creation is no longer the preserve and domain of the media and journalists; the ubiquitous nature of the Internet and the availability of other enabling technologies: inexpensive digital technologies like video cameras, digital cameras and recorders means that anyone with access can now create content and disseminate it. Debates in many parts of the world have suggested that these abilities are catalysts that could spur the public into contributing news and video content of breaking news to the media and help keep the 24/7 round the clock news cycle current. After all, some online social networking sites have already demonstrated that citizens possess the skills to produce and publish video content. At a time when the media is facing financial pressure due to reduced advertising revenues, caused in part by the economic crisis and by the shift to the online platform, there are suggestions that citizens could help newsroom budgets by contributing material. It is against this background of rapid online migration by the media, and the emergence of this new breed of news gatherers, that this research on the Open Newsroom is set. The research topic is not new; a body of research about online migration of the media and the new news ecosystem exists in many other countries. In New Zealand however, this is still an emerging area of for research. This research monitored news bulletins on New Zealand’s two main television news channels, 3 News on TV3 and One News on Television New Zealand for 12 months from early 2008 to late 2009. The idea was to gauge and analyse the amount of content submitted by citizen journalists. The research also looked at a case study which illustrated the potential dangers of using news content submitted by citizen journalists. The research sought the professional opinions of a wide range of decision makers and influential people from the New Zealand media such as editors, journalists and publishers and those involved in the training of journalists in New Zealand. Using a Mini-DV video camera and a digital audio recorder, the researcher filmed and recorded interviewees and edited video clips of the interviews which were then published in the media gallery on the website www.theopennewsroom.com. The interviews sought to find out and discuss the online migration by the media, the new news ecosystem, the public’s participation in the media and the benefits and disadvantages of citizen journalism. To put the research into perspective, the website also carries some research articles and literature reviews on the media. The research findings from the interviews with New Zealand media professionals who participated in the study match trends happening in many countries. While most value the potential benefits of citizen journalists in the news process, some strongly expressed a great deal of skepticism and suspicion regarding news contribution from nontraditional journalism sources. In general, the research offered a series of insights into modern media rather than clear-cut answers

Приведенно найкращі характеристики для транслювання онлайн відео. Показані алгоритми роботи кодеків, OSI моделі та програмного забеспечення.
The thesis presents an overview of the most common methods of conducting online broadcasts via smartphone. Convenient, high – quality, budget methods of broadcasting, their algorithms, their comparison are presented; the whole technical and program part of the broadcasts is considered. Showing the mains reason of using a smartphone for conducting online broadcasts, the results of broadcasting through platforms and other developers software, shows the load on the processor and the battery discharge rate. Indicate the best features for streaming online video. Algorithms of operation of codecs, OSI models and software are shown.

Internet and digital media have profoundly reorganised the radio landscape by giving birth to new formats and patterns of radio listening. Today, traditional radio actors systematically use online platforms to diffuse their programs and communicate with their audience. This master thesis offers a case study and examines how Radio FIP, a French music station of public service, uses its digital devices to diffuse its program and produce content online. On the basis of existing researches on radio and radio diffusion online, and with the help of the concepts of format, media logics and hybrid media system, the author of this paper defines two logics of traditional radio and radio online used as reference in order to analysis the influence of media logics on the station’s material and formats online.   Observation of Radio FIP’s website and social media pages on Facebook and Twitter showed  a clear influence of radio online logics in the visual and informative extra content, the additional audio offers through online webradio streams, the promotion of non linear and asynchronous formats of radio listening’s and the incorporation of networked media frames. At the same time, logics of traditional radio prove to be also very significant with the pre-eminence and promotion of the station’s on air broadcast on digital devices and the reproduction of traditional radio patterns of temporality, music prescription and vertical communication on social media platforms. The coexistence of the two logics in Radio FIP online platforms characterises the station’s digital apparatus as a hybrid media space, and opens up new research trails for better understanding what influence the content formats of radio stations diffusing online.

This thesis investigates Headlines Theatre Company’s use of simulcast online video broadcasts of their forum theatre events through two case studies, Here and Now (2005) and after homelessness... (2009). I consider the place of these broadcast’s within Headlines’ Artistic Director David Diamond’s particular practice, Theatre for Living (TfL) and its aim to create community-based dialogue. Through digital performance theorist Steve Dixon’s four categories of interactivity, I explore how the online viewer’s participation in the forum event is filtered via the use of web-actors, and the complications this has had for the broader TfL mandate. I analyse the web-actors’ function using Dixon’s concept of “The Digital Double”, to explore how the role they have in the forum event is akin to that of avatars. This analysis draws primarily from David Diamond’s published works, personal journals and reports following each production as well as recorded broadcasts of the two case-study performances. Read together with current scholarship of performance and digital technology, I argue that these case studies suggest how technology both has and has not served the TfL mandate and consider how Headlines’ practice is complicated by simulcast online video broadcasts.

This case study researches newsroom convergence as a process at the Mail & Guardian newspaper and their online edition the Mail & Guardian Online. It focuses on the reporters’ and editors’ attitudes towards newsroom convergence and on cultural resistance against change; one of the major challenges in the process. With structured interviews, observations and questionnaires it was analysed that communication problems between the newsrooms, different production cycles and time management issues are other prominent difficulties. The case study furthermore provides a snapshot of the convergence phenomenon as a process in a particular South African news organisation. The outcomes could not only assist other news companies with convergence plans but also be used as a pilot study for further research on converged newsrooms in South Africa.

Most of online examination systems only provided textual mode questions like multiple choice/choices questions, short answer questions. In order to improve this issue, we integrated a variety of online edit components into our online examination system including UML(Unified Modeling Language), mathematical equations, programming code, data sheet editors…etc. With this various types of examination edit components, online examination no longer limited to textual mode examination. During the online examinations, demonstration for students about how to operate this system is necessary. In order to fit this need. Our system integrates Red5 Media Server streaming platform. Teacher can broadcast the streaming of the desktop operations to those students who is doing their online examination. For the compatibility of communication across different platforms, we apply Symmetric Key Encryption, Asymmetric Key Encryption, Hash Function and Digital Signature on our online examination query services that enhances information security in online examination system.

This research was to explore the personal economic value variable (watching motivation, purchase willingness, social interaction, actual demand, promotion factors) and sensory involutions of modern people to watch online online broadcasts (information browsing, entertainment). , novel exploration, fashion trends) and the relationship between impulse buying (brand myth, professional considerations, idolatry, placement marketing). Using random sampling, the questionnaire is filled out for the audience who have watched the live webcast. A total of 200 valid samples were obtained. The data analysis used project analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, reliability and validity analysis, and related analysis. , single factor variance analysis and regression analysis. As explained below: 1. Impulsive purchases had a significant impact on economic value, and the placement of marketing increases the buyer's motivation to purchase. 2. Sensory stagnation has a significant impact on economic value, as well as information browsing along with behaviors that influence the motivation and social interaction of purchases.3. The impact of economic value on impulse purchases is disturbed by sensory intrusion.4. Demographic variables had significant differences in economic value, sensory intrusion and impulse buying.

AbstractThis chapter examines the difficult conditions Nigerian journalists faced while reporting during the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on the threats and dangers faced by Nigerian broadcast journalists and its implication for journalism practice amid a pandemic. Using a qualitative approach, we conducted nine in-depth interviews (online) with broadcast journalists in 2020 and employed thematic analysis to address the study’s findings. The study found that the safety threats encountered by journalists during the COVID-19 outbreak include the risk of contracting the virus, financial insecurity, and emotional trauma, among others. To combat these safety threats, journalists were responsible for their safety; hence, they ensured adherence to safety protocols with little or no support from the media houses they worked for. The implication of these safety threats to journalism practice includes reduced work output, reduced dissemination of factual reports, low-quality stories, and the lack of in-depth and investigative news reports during the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.

AbstractWith advances in technology affordances, contents generated by individual tourists in the tourism context has become an influential source of tourism information besides contents channeled by traditional mass media such as newspapers and broadcasts. Specifically, Meme Tourism (i.e., meme phenomenon in tourism) becomes one of the biggest trends in imitating and transforming/evolving tourism contents online, which is a byproduct of participatory culture that use text and visual images as means of user-generated communications in online communities through the exchange, distribution, and transactions. Understanding the emerging phenomena of meme in tourism would provide insights on tourists’ desires and behaviors in modern traveling. This study conceptualizes three major perspectives in tourism; 1) media-induced tourism, 2) user-generated content, and 3) social media activities, reflecting meme phenomena in tourism. Given the foundation provided, this study calls for a new stream of study in tourism that examines desire, motivation, and behavior of tourists in technology-enabled modern travel culture.

This paper proposes an Online Intelligent Visual Interactive System (OIVIS), which can be applied to various live video broadcast and short video scenes to provide an interactive user experience. In the live video broadcast, the anchor can issue various commands by using pre-defined gestures, and can trigger real-time background replacement to create an immersive atmosphere. To support such dynamic interactivity, we implemented algorithms including real-time gesture recognition and real-time video portrait segmentation, developed a deep network inference framework, and a real-time rendering framework AI Gender at the front end to create a complete set of visual interaction solutions for use in resource constrained mobile.
