Nowadays, with the continuous integration of production network and business network, more and more Industrial Internet of Things and Internal Office Network have been interconnected and evolved into a large-scale enterprise-level intraindustry network. Terminal devices are the basic units of internal network. Accurate identification of the type of device corresponding to the IP address and detailed description of the communication behavior of the device are of great significance for conducting network security risk assessment, hidden danger investigation, and threat warning. Traditional cyberspace surveying and mapping techniques take the form of active measurement, but they cannot be transplanted to large-scale intranet. Resources or specific targets in internal networks are often protected by firewalls, VPNs, gateways, and other technologies, so they are difficult to analyze and determine by active measurement. In this paper, a passive measurement method is proposed to identify and characterize devices in the network through real traffic data. Firstly, a new graph structure mining method is used to determine the server-like devices and host-like devices; then, the NAT-like devices are determined by quantitative analysis of traffic; finally, by qualitative analysis of the NAT-like device traffic, it is determined whether there are server-like devices behind the NAT-like device. This method will prove to be useful in identifying all kinds of devices in network data traffic, detecting unauthorized NAT-like devices and whether there are server-like devices behind the NAT-like devices.

In order to solve the problem of direct location management of Internet users under the environment of NAT, the unique session ID that represents the user session was put the first option location of the initial session SYN option, and the same session ID was put the additional tail part of the each initial UDP session and the specified UDP tail part, the traffic identification and location management of the Internet users were realized under the environment of NAT through the message tag and user access authentication, the practical application showed that compared with the traditional method, this method not only solved the location management of the Internet users under the NAT, but also greatly reduced the Internet authentication device, network mirror device, network transmission device, network bandwidth and other resources.

Although network address translation (NAT) provides various advantages, it may cause potential threats to network operations. For network administrators to operate networks effectively and securely, it may be necessary to verify whether an assigned IP address is using NAT or not. In this paper, we propose a supervised learning-based active NAT device (NATD) identification using port response patterns. The proposed model utilizes the asymmetric port response patterns between NATD and non-NATD. In addition, to reduce the time and to solve the security issue that supervised learning approaches exhibit, we propose a fast and stealthy NATD identification method. The proposed method can perform the identification remotely, unlike conventional methods that should operate in the same network as the targets. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method is effective, exhibiting a F1 score of over 90%. With the efficient features of the proposed methods, we recommend some practical use cases that can contribute to managing networks securely and effectively.

Anchoring nanoscale building blocks, regardless of their shape, into specific arrangements on surfaces presents a significant challenge for the fabrication of next-generation chip-based nanophotonic devices. Current methods to prepare nanocrystal arrays lack the precision, generalizability, and postsynthetic robustness required for the fabrication of device-quality, nanocrystal-based metamaterials [Q. Y. Lin et al. Nano Lett. 15, 4699–4703 (2015); V. Flauraud et al., Nat. Nanotechnol. 12, 73–80 (2017)]. To address this challenge, we have developed a synthetic strategy to precisely arrange any anisotropic colloidal nanoparticle onto a substrate using a shallow-template-assisted, DNA-mediated assembly approach. We show that anisotropic nanoparticles of virtually any shape can be anchored onto surfaces in any desired arrangement, with precise positional and orientational control. Importantly, the technique allows nanoparticles to be patterned over a large surface area, with interparticle distances as small as 4 nm, providing the opportunity to exploit light–matter interactions in an unprecedented manner. As a proof-of-concept, we have synthesized a nanocrystal-based, dynamically tunable metasurface (an anomalous reflector), demonstrating the potential of this nanoparticle-based metamaterial synthesis platform.

AbstractThis experiment was designed to test the hypothesis put forward by P. Bourkas, A. Delinick and C. Karragiannopoulos of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) that Ultra High Succussed Dilutions (UHSD) can be distinguished from control solutions by an Electric Measurement Device (EMD), developed by the NTUA team. A pre-formulated experimental protocol was followed, measuring in random sequence test solutions of double-distilled and deionised water (aqua injectabile), potentised water (6 cH, 30 cH), Natrum muriaticum (Nat mur) potentised in aqua injectabile (6 cH, 30 cH), either blind or open. The number of measurements was determined by a power analysis based on open pilot readings. While the open pilot trial performed by the NTUA team showed a large difference in readings for the controls and test-solutions, the experimental blind test was negative. The only significant difference observed was between Nat mur 6 cH and Nat mur 30 cH, and the direction of the difference was in the opposite direction from that predicted by theory and found in the pilot experiment. No differences were found between any other conditions, and in particular Nat mur 30 cH and aqua 30 cH could not be distinguished. It was suggested that the failure to detect a difference in the main trial resulted from a different brand of water being used in the main trial; the likelihood of this, and other alternative explanations, is discussed. It was concluded that the EMD is a highly sensitive apparatus for measuring impurities in water. As yet there is no obvious link between the measurement of impurities in water and the purported alteration of solvent in the process of homoeopathic potentisation.

This paper analyzes the content of Internet naming problems as well as the current exist problems .We discuss the namespace and the major technologies, and then elaborating the important thinking on research of naming problems detailed and propose development direction in the future. In the paper, we propose a new method for devices naming due to the issues that exist in the Internet naming. Using this technical, it can solve the problem of the extremely scarce IPv4 and the IP address changed frequently on Internet devices. Equipment naming scheme has five major components: equipment name registered server, equipment communication server and client domain name server and client communication agency, the client login and configuration. It is a pattern in which the mobile device uses configured client software to issue a request to NG-DNS (new generation domain system).we have analyze on the realization of the key technology on the windows system. It has realized communication among equipments which are mobile, wireless, dynamic IP address, and hidden NAT and firewall. The method can be extended entry of Android devices.

This research designs environment supervisory control system of computer room which consists of multiple Android environment controllers and one supervisory control server. An Android environment controller is a controller based on Android device. The controller contains an Android device, a Wi-Fi wireless access point, a switch hut (or NAT) and three data acquisition modules. The Android device enters TCP/IP LAN through the Wi-Fi access point. The data acquisition modules with TCP/IP interface are plugged into the LAN, and read/written by the Android device with Modbus TCP/IP protocol. Control logics are designed for computer room environment control. The controller monitors air conditioning systems, room temperature and humidity, fire alarm systems, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, electricity supply systems, leak detections, and door access control systems. If something happens, it can drive buzzer, alarm, voice dialing, or air conditioning, send SMS, voice mail, record audio, or video. A supervisory control server is used to help remote controls of all Android environment controllers. All Android controllers send their operation data to the server. Authorized user can login to the server to monitor and control certain Android controller with a browser or Android device.

Abstract The purpose of this paper is to present a way to develop a technical e-laboratory for students interested in their continuing training. It presents hardware and software aspects regarding design of a LabVIEW-Based Soundcard Interface for E-Laboratory. To realize an e-learning laboratory we used web publishing tool from LabVIEW and the connection between server and remote computer is realized with a VPN software to pass through any router or a NAT device and realise a secure tunnel between remote computers and LabVIEW web-server. Also, the web publishing tool from LabVIEW allows concurrent access from different remote computers to e-laboratory. For example paper offers a LabVIEW application for acquisition and generation of signals using the sound card.

There are various identification methods that cannot used by many devices of the Internet of Things for a number of objective reasons. In this case, a very important property is the fixed ratio an identifier with the actual device of the Internet of Things (physical address), as well as versatility in the application of the identifier in various industries. In the DOA architecture, the resolution system is two-tier. The first the resolution level is the global register (GHR, from the English Global Handle Registry); the second level is a set of local registries (LHR, from the English Local (Handle Registry) or local services (LHS, from the English.Local Handle Service). For permission identifier in this subsystem, first there is an appeal to the global registry GHR, which reports information about the local LHR, which contains necessary information about the digital object.

There have been remarkable growths in wireless communication networks in

recent years; this is because of its merits over the wired networks such as

Mobility and convenience. Wireless networks transmit the signal over the

open air via radio waves of different frequencies, this makes it to be

vulnerable to several attacks and anybody on the street can easily intercept the

wireless data or inject new data into the entire network. There has been

existence of wired equivalent privacy (WEP) protocol (IEEE 802.11i), which

was designed for wireless network security. There were concerns of security

vulnerabilities in WEP; this made it necessary for the implementation of

another solution to overcome the weaknesses of the previous wireless

network security. The IEEE 802.1X (port-based network admission control)

which is defined on Extensible Authentication protocol (EAP) provides

effective and efficient admission control to wireless and other networks

devices [8].

Our thesis investigates the efficiency of NAC (IEEE 802.1X) as a security

solution, access different vendor solutions, protocols supported and look into

the inter-operability of these various vendors. In as much as we support the

premise of NAC being an excellent solution, we will also make brilliant

recommendations in this thesis to be considered for future refinements of this

security solution as well as deployment scenarios for the university network.

Nowadays the popularity of mobile devices is rapidly increased. New facilities of them (Wi-Fi, GPS, high speed processors etc.) allows to improve mobile applications in commerce, learning, gaming, health monitoring, sports etc. But really there are several reasons that limit mobile computing: limited storage capacity, limited battery life and limited processing power of mobile devices. This paper is dedicated to Mobile cloud computing (MCC). We consider MCC as combination of mobile and cloud computing where both data storage and data processing are performed outside the mobile device but inside the cloud.

O grupo de materiais ferroelÃtricos com camada de bismuto (BLSFs) tem sido extensivamente estudados, devido à sua potencial utilizaÃÃo em memÃrias de acesso aleatÃrio (aplicaÃÃes FeRAMs). Estruturas perovskita em camadas de bismuto de SrBi2Nb2O9 (SBN) pertencem a famÃlia Aurivillius, que tÃm a fÃrmula geral (Bi2O2)2+(An-1BnO3n+1)2-, onde os sÃtios A sÃo ocupados por cÃtions maiores, enquanto que os cÃtions com elevada valÃncia estÃo localizados em sÃtios B e n à o nÃmero de camadas octaÃdricas entre as camadas de bismuto (Bi2O2)2+. A presenÃa de camadas de bismuto serve como amortecedor para suportar a fadiga da polarizaÃÃo e preservar a estabilidade do bismuto em ferroelÃtricos de camadas estruturadas. Neste trabalho, as propriedades estruturais e dielÃtricas de SrBi2Nb2O9 (SBN) em funÃÃo do nÃvel de adiÃÃo de Bi2O3 ou La2O3 em radiofrequÃncias (RF) e micro-ondas foram estudados. O SBN foi preparado utilizando o mÃtodo de reaÃÃo em estado sÃlido com a adiÃÃo de 3, 5, 10 e 15% de Bi2O3 ou La2O3. A Ãnica fase ortorrÃmbica foi formada apÃs a calcinaÃÃo a 900ÂC durante 2h. A anÃlise por difraÃÃo de Raios X (DRX), utilizando o refinamento de Rietveld confirmou a formaÃÃo de uma Ãnica fase com um composto de estrutura cristalina (a = 5.5129Ã, b = 5,5183à , c = 25,0819Ã; α = β = γ = 90Â). A microscopia eletrÃnica de varredura (MEV) do material mostrou morfologias globulares (quase esfÃrica) de grÃos em toda a superfÃcie das amostras. A temperatura de Curie encontrada para a amostra nÃo dopada foi de 400ÂC. Com adiÃÃes de Bi3+, a temperatura diminuiu e com adiÃÃes de La3+ a temperatura de Curie aumentou significativamente acima de 450ÂC. Nas mediÃÃes das propriedades dielÃtricas de SBN à temperatura ambiente, a 10 MHz, foi observado os maiores valores de permissividade para SBN5LaP (5% de La2O3), com valores de 116,71 e a mais baixa perda (0,0057) foi obtido por SBN15LaP (15% de La2O3). Na regiÃo de frequÃncia de micro-ondas, amostras adicionadas de Bi2O3 mostraram maior permissividade dielÃtrica que amostras adicionadas de La2O3, destacamos a SBN15BiG (15% Bi2O3) com a permissividade dielÃtrica mais elevada em 70,32 (3,4 GHz). Os valores de constante dielÃtrica estÃo compreendidos na faixa de 28-71 e as perdas dielÃtricas sÃo da ordem de 10-2. As amostras foram estudadas para possÃveis aplicaÃÃes em RF e componentes de micro-ondas.
The group of ferroelectric materials with bismuth layer (BLSFs) has been extensively studied due to their potential use in random access memories (FeRAMs applications). Layered structures of perovskite bismuth SrBi2Nb2O9 ( SBN ) belong to the Aurivillius family, which has the general formula (Bi2O2)2+(An-1BnO3n+1)2-, where the sites are occupied by the larger cations, whereas the cations with high valence are located in sites B and n is the number of octahedral layers between the layers of bismuth (Bi2O2)2+. The presence of the bismuth layer serves as a buffer to withstand fatigue and polarization preserving the stability of the bismuth layer structured ferroelectrics. In this work, the structural and dielectric properties of SrBi2Nb2O9 (SBN) based on the level of addition of Bi2O3 or La2O3 on radio frequencies (RF) and microwave were studied. The SBN was prepared using the method of solid state reaction with the addition of 3, 5, 10 and 15% of Bi2O3 and La2O3. A single orthorhombic phase was formed after calcination at 900Â C for 2h. The analysis by X-ray diffraction (XRD) using the Rietveld refinement confirmed the formation of a single phase compound with a crystal structure (a = 5.5129Ã, b = 5.5183Ã, c = 25.0819Ã, α = β = γ = 90Â) . The scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed the material (nearly round) globular grain morphologies across the surface of the samples. The Curie temperature found for the undoped sample was 400ÂC. With additions of Bi3+, and the decreased temperature and with additions of La3+ Curie temperature rose significantly above 450ÂC. In the measurement of the dielectric properties of SBN at room temperature to 10 MHz, the highest values for permittivity SBN5LaP (5% La2O3) were observed, with values of 116.71 and the lowest loss (0.0057) was obtained by SBN15LaP (15% La2O3). In the region of frequency microwave , added Bi2O3 samples showed higher dielectric permittivity that La2O3 samples added, highlight the SBN15BiG (15% Bi2O3) with higher dielectric permittivity in 70.32 (3.4GHz) . The values of dielectric constant are included in the range of 28-71 and the dielectric losses are of the order of 10-2. The samples were investigated for possible applications in RF and microwave components.

Abstract Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) are very small multi-domain devices and systems that contain both mechanical and electrical components with sizes in the order of microns. Design cycle time plays a critical role in the development and introduction of MEMS devices and systems in the market. VLSI designers often use extraction tools to compare the desired schematic with the reconstructed schematic extracted from the spatial layout of the design. Use of such tools in VLSI industry has significantly reduced the number of design iterations. In order to develop extraction tools for MEMS designs, we need geometric algorithms to analyze the spatial layout of the mechanical portion of the MEMS device and extract a net-list of mechanical components. Such extracted net-list of mechanical components can be combined with the electronic component net-list to provide the complete device schematic. A key step in the extraction of mechanical components is classification of various portions of the layout into various types of structural components. Because MEMS designs consist of a large number of components, computational efficiency of the underlying extraction algorithm is very important for it to work on complex devices. This paper describes an efficient geometric algorithm for extracting mechanical components from spatial layout of MEMS designs.

Background. Automated-entry consumer devices that collect and transmit patient-generated health data (PGHD) are being evaluated as potential tools to aid in the management of chronic diseases. The need exists to evaluate the evidence regarding consumer PGHD technologies, particularly for devices that have not gone through Food and Drug Administration evaluation. Purpose. To summarize the research related to automated-entry consumer health technologies that provide PGHD for the prevention or management of 11 chronic diseases. Methods. The project scope was determined through discussions with Key Informants. We searched MEDLINE and EMBASE (via EMBASE.com), In-Process MEDLINE and PubMed unique content (via PubMed.gov), and the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews for systematic reviews or controlled trials. We also searched ClinicalTrials.gov for ongoing studies. We assessed risk of bias and extracted data on health outcomes, surrogate outcomes, usability, sustainability, cost-effectiveness outcomes (quantifying the tradeoffs between health effects and cost), process outcomes, and other characteristics related to PGHD technologies. For isolated effects on health outcomes, we classified the results in one of four categories: (1) likely no effect, (2) unclear, (3) possible positive effect, or (4) likely positive effect. When we categorized the data as “unclear” based solely on health outcomes, we then examined and classified surrogate outcomes for that particular clinical condition. Findings. We identified 114 unique studies that met inclusion criteria. The largest number of studies addressed patients with hypertension (51 studies) and obesity (43 studies). Eighty-four trials used a single PGHD device, 23 used 2 PGHD devices, and the other 7 used 3 or more PGHD devices. Pedometers, blood pressure (BP) monitors, and scales were commonly used in the same studies. Overall, we found a “possible positive effect” of PGHD interventions on health outcomes for coronary artery disease, heart failure, and asthma. For obesity, we rated the health outcomes as unclear, and the surrogate outcomes (body mass index/weight) as likely no effect. For hypertension, we rated the health outcomes as unclear, and the surrogate outcomes (systolic BP/diastolic BP) as possible positive effect. For cardiac arrhythmias or conduction abnormalities we rated the health outcomes as unclear and the surrogate outcome (time to arrhythmia detection) as likely positive effect. The findings were “unclear” regarding PGHD interventions for diabetes prevention, sleep apnea, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Most studies did not report harms related to PGHD interventions; the relatively few harms reported were minor and transient, with event rates usually comparable to harms in the control groups. Few studies reported cost-effectiveness analyses, and only for PGHD interventions for hypertension, coronary artery disease, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; the findings were variable across different chronic conditions and devices. Patient adherence to PGHD interventions was highly variable across studies, but patient acceptance/satisfaction and usability was generally fair to good. However, device engineers independently evaluated consumer wearable and handheld BP monitors and considered the user experience to be poor, while their assessment of smartphone-based electrocardiogram monitors found the user experience to be good. Student volunteers involved in device usability testing of the Weight Watchers Online app found it well-designed and relatively easy to use. Implications. Multiple randomized controlled trials (RCTs) have evaluated some PGHD technologies (e.g., pedometers, scales, BP monitors), particularly for obesity and hypertension, but health outcomes were generally underreported. We found evidence suggesting a possible positive effect of PGHD interventions on health outcomes for four chronic conditions. Lack of reporting of health outcomes and insufficient statistical power to assess these outcomes were the main reasons for “unclear” ratings. The majority of studies on PGHD technologies still focus on non-health-related outcomes. Future RCTs should focus on measurement of health outcomes. Furthermore, future RCTs should be designed to isolate the effect of the PGHD intervention from other components in a multicomponent intervention.

Patient Generated Health Data (PGHD is not new but it has gained more attention these past years due to the advent of smart devices, remote monitoring devices and many applications on various smart devices. PGHD reflects medications and treatment, lifestyle choices, and health history. Unlike traditional medical visits, where clinicians collect and manage data within their offices, PGHD is collected by patients throughout the course of their day and provides an insight of how they are responding to treatments or lifestyle choices. Examples include blood glucose monitoring or blood pressure readings using home health equipment, exercise and diet tracking using mobile applications or wearable devices such as the Fitbit or other smart watches.

Currently, to evaluate the dynamic characteristics of objects, quite a large number of devices are used in the form of chronographs, which consist of various optical, thermal and laser sensors. Among the problems of these devices, the following can be distinguished: the lack of recording of the received data; the inaccessibility of taking into account the trajectory of the object flying in the sensor area, as well as taking into consideration the trajectory of the object during the approach to the device frame. The signal received from the infrared sensors is recorded in a separate document in txt format, in the form of a table. When you turn to the document, data is read from the current position of the input data stream in the specified list by an argument in accordance with the given condition. As a result of reading the data, it forms an array that includes N number of columns. The array is constructed in a such way that the first column includes time values, and columns 2...N- the value of voltage . The algorithm uses cycles that perform the function of deleting array rows where there is a fact of exceeding the threshold value in more than two columns, as well as rows where the threshold level was not exceeded. The modified array is converted into two new arrays, each of which includes data from different sensor frames. An array with the coordinates of the centers of the sensor operation zones was created to apply the Pythagorean theorem in three-dimensional space, which is necessary for calculating the exact distance between the zones. The time is determined by the difference in the response of the first and second sensor frames. Knowing the path and time, we are able to calculate the exact speed of the object. For visualization, the oscillograms of each sensor channel were displayed, and a chronograph model was created. The chronograph model highlights in purple the area where the threshold has been exceeded.

Review question / Objective: We aim to map out the existing research where concomitant use of patient reported and technology reported outcome measures is used for patients with musculoskeletal conditions. Condition being studied: Musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) covering injuries or disorders of the muscles, nerves, tendons, joints, cartilage, and spinal discs. Musculoskeletal manifestations of joint pathology. Eligibility criteria: 1) Peer-reviewed primary studies and literature reviews. Grey literature not included. 2) Studies which include co-administration of Patient-Reported Outcomes (PROMs) AND wearable electronic devices (e.g. fitness trackers, accelerometers, gyroscopes, pedometers smartphones, smartwatches) in musculoskeletal manifestations of joint pathology. The past decade has been marked by a growing awareness of the potential harms of personal computing. This recent development was spurred by a surge of news reports, films, and studies on the unforeseen side effects of constantly using networked devices. As a result, the public has become increasingly aware of the cognitive, ideological, and psychological effects associated with the constant use of personal computing devices. Alongside these revelations, a growing chorus of activists, journalists, organizers, and scholars have turned attention to surveillance technology-related matters of a different kind—those related to the carceral state and border patrol. These efforts have sparked a shift in the public consciousness, from individual experiences of technology users to how technology is used to maintain social divisions. These studies show how the explosion of network devices not only changes society but also maintains longstanding divisions between social groups. This field review highlights key concepts and discussions on information technology, surveillance, carceral governance, and border patrol. Specifically, it explores the evolution of information communication technology and racial surveillance from the late nineteenth century until the present. The review concludes by exploring avenues for bringing these conversations into a transnational dialogue on surveillance, technology, and social inequality moving forward.

Review question / Objective: The relevant expert consensus has not pointed out which ventilation device is better during general anesthesia in the pediatric airway management for elective surgery. Condition being studied: We carried out a keyword search using the terms “layngeal mask, LMA, endotracheal tube, tracheal tube, children, pediatric, anesthesia, RCT, randomized controlled trials, randomized, elective surgery.” In general, searches are developed in MEDLINE in Ovid; Embase.com; the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL) via the Wiley Interface; Web of Science Core Collection; PubMed restricting to records in the subset “as supplied by publisher” to find references that not yet indexed in MEDLINE; and Google Scholar. When available, these databases were searched using a combination of subject headings (such as MeSH) and filters (such as RCT). We reviewed references of included studies to identify relevant studies. We imposed no language or time restriction. The exact date of the database search is September 1, 2021.We carried out a keyword search using terms “layngeal mask, LMA, endotracheal tube, tracheal tube, children, pediatric, anesthesia, RCT, randomized controlled trials, randomized, elective surgery.”

This paper considers the problem of using mobile Internet devices in the process of biology studying in secondary schools. It has been examined how well the scientific problem is developed in pedagogical theory and educational practice. The methodology of using mobile Internet devices in the process of biology studying in a basic school, which involves the use of the Play Market server applications, Smart technologies and a website, has been created. After the analyses of the Play Market server content, there have been found several free of charge applications, which can be used while studying biology in a basic school. Among them are the following: Anatomy 4D, Animal 4D+, Augmented Reality Dinosaurs – my ARgalaxy, BioInc – Biomedical Plague, Plan+Net. Their choice is caused by the specifics of the object of biological cognition (life in all its manifestations) and the concept of bio(eco)centrism, which recognizes the life of any living system as the highest value. The paper suggests the original approach for homework checking, which involves besides computer control of students’ learning outcomes, the use of Miracast wireless technology. This demands the owning of a smartphone, a multimedia projector, and a Google Chromecast type adapter. The methodology of conducting a mobile front-line survey at the lesson on the learned or current material in biology in the test form, with the help of the free Plickers application, has been presented. The expediency of using the website builder Ucoz.ua for creation of a training website in biology has been substantiated. The methodology of organizing the educational process in biology in a basic school using the training website has been developed. Recommendations for using a biology training website have been summarized. According to the results of the forming experiment, the effectiveness of the proposed methodology of using mobile Internet devices in the process of biology studying in a basic school has been substantiated.
