Повний текст джерелаThis thesis discusses and analyses the opportunities and the influence of young adults living in the countryside in Motala county. The problematic lies within the urbanisation, a phenomenon that can be seen both nationally as well as internationally. The chosen description of problem has been investigated/examined/analysed in two municipality’s in Motala county, these are Tjällmo and Godegård. The investigation has been implemented through a survey that the younger citizens of the multiplicity has participated in. Besides the previously mentioned survey, the thesis also includes a document analysis based on four strategic documents from Motala county where the development of the countryside and the impacts of the younger population has been issued. To analyse the material the theory of “push and pull” has been applied. The results shows that the well-being in general is good within the target group in Tjällmo and Godegård, but implies that in some cases they lack the right prerequisites to live there in the future. The respondents also states that there is a lacking function in Motala county concerning including the younger population in the development of the countryside. In the result you can see that Motala county has a will to improve and further develop the inclusion of their young citizens in the development of the countryside.

Повний текст джерелаThis master thesis was conducted at Motala Wire Works Ltd (MWW) in Motala during the autumn and winter of 2007-2008. The thesis named “Future layout of Motala Wire Works” focuses on making a better planed layout for the factory, which also take in to consideration future changes.
Motala Wire Work produces wire mesh products of varying sorts for the white goods industry. The factory was started by Electrolux during the 1950’s. The factory was bought by Motalaverken and got it’s present form in 2004. The factories machine park has changed quite a bit during the course of time and so has the products produced which has made for a very unstructured layout. Because of this the management feels it has to update and re-plan the layout in order to get a better working factory layout for the future.
The purpose of this master thesis was to construct a future layout for Motala Wire Works which shows how machines should be placed in order to get a better materials flow and free space for expansion of the present production or if they decide to take in other types of production.
To solve the task at hand the theories and methods of Systematic plant layout was used and to a certain degree Lean Production. Interviews/conversations with employees, direct observations, and measurements was used to gauge the various parameters. During the course of work ideas and proposals have been analyzed thoroughly and discussed with management to insure that the ideas have support from the company. When analyzing the final layout proposals a SWOT- analyzes has been conducted and the layouts have been compared to the criteria list for a good layout presented in the theory section.
The analyzes shows that product flow in the factory is very messy, with intersecting and against each other going flows. A majority of the production is not automated which makes for a lot of manual work. Several of the machines have been in service for a long time which means that the ergonomics and operational safety of the machines isn’t always the best. Throughout the analyzes there is a discussion about what should be done to improve the flow and how the problems could be solved . The analyzes has also shown that a common employee space is desirable in order to improve internal communications and strengthen the group feeling.
The result of the thesis are two layouts, worked out together with the company, that have great potential of being implemented. The difference between the two layout lays in whether the wire is cut and straightened at the factory or by the supplier. The layouts result in more organized flows, shorter transports, planed spaces for expansion and new machines, and an overall improved working environment. The number of handling operations will not decrease but the transport distances will go down by 62% and in the production a cut down in the personnel can be made by at least one person. These savings put in to money comes to a grand total of 427054 kr. It’s recommended that Motala Wire Works implements the layout.

Повний текст джерелаI denna studie har utveckling av sportfisket i Motala ström, den del som rinner genom Norrköpings centralort, studerats. Det finns i dag hinder för fisken som gör att den inte kommer upp till sina forna lek- och uppväxtplatser. Motala ström avvattnar Vättern vid utloppet i Motala och fortsätter sedan österut mot Bråviken. Strömfårans fall genom Norrköping är betydande och i naturligt tillstånd består av den av strömmande vatten. De nedre delarna av Motala ström och anslutande delar av Bråviken lämnar en särskilt gynnsam miljö för laxartade fiskar.
Fisket i Motala ström har pågått i flera hundra år men i början av 1900-talet försvann den vilda populationen på grund av föroreningar och en hård reglering av strömmen. I dag finns det två kraftverk som har större kapacitet än någon av de tidigare. Kraftverken producerar varje år 122 GWh eller lika mycket ström som går åt för att förse Norrköping med hushållsel.
När man talar om tvister mellan olika intressen och när denna konflikt handlar om en naturresurs, kommer man lätt in på etiska och moraliska frågor. Det finns en gren av etiken som hanterar miljöetiska frågor. Denna gren har två olika huvudinriktningar kopplade till hur de ser på förhållandet mellan människan och naturen. Det gäller antropocentrism, som hävdar att bara människor har ett inneboende värde. Medan icke- antropocentrister anser att det finns varelser förutom människan som har ett instrumentellt värde.
I fallet med Motala ström och dess flöde genom Norrköping är det framförallt tre olika intressen som agerar mot varandra. Jag har koncentrerat mig på att göra intervjuer med representanter från dessa intressegrupper och försöka få en uppfattning om hur de ser på saken. Intervjuerna har varit öppna och de inledande frågor har varit samma för alla informanterna.
Jag har även tagit del av de vattenhushållningsbestämmelser som gäller för Motala ström och den del som rinner genom Norrköping samt andra dokument för att få en uppfattning om de tvister som finns kring Motala ströms passage genom Norrköping.
Resultaten från studien visar att vattenkraften i Motala ström kommer att brukas som elproducent under lång tid. Det skulle kosta för mycket pengar att ändra vattenflöden så att en självreproduktion av fisk kan ske, och det har varken kommunen eller kraftbolaget råd med. Det ökade vattenflödena som en planerad självreproduktion skulle innebära, kan även påverka kulturmiljön och de estetiska värdena på ett oönskat sätt.
I denna studie har jag kommit fram till att det inte går att både ha en vacker och en levande stad. I alla fall inte om man ska följa de lagar som är uppsatta. Det finns vattenflödesbestämmelser och det finns miniminivåer för vattnet. Dessa är reglerade av lagar och de är svåra att ändra på.

Повний текст джерелаDetta examensarbete är utfört vid institutionen för produktionsekonomi på Linköpings tekniska högskola, för Motala Verkstad. Syftet med arbetet var att genomföra en produktflödesanalys med avseende på genomloppstider i produktionen och ta fram åtgärder för att korta ner dessa. En stor andel av genomloppstiden utgörs av kö- och väntetid. Störst effekt uppnås om dessa tider kan reduceras varför fokus i rapporten är inriktat på dessa tider.
Motala Verkstad är ett företag med inriktning mot skärande bearbetning i stora dimensioner. Företaget har problem med långa ledtider, varför ett förbättringsarbete startat.
Problemen beror på att ett högt utnyttjande av samtliga resurser eftersträvas, samtidigt som det saknas kontroll av verklig beläggning.Rapporten är uppdelad i fyra faser, där den inledande fasen består av nulägesbeskrivning och uppgiftsprecisering. Efterföljande fas är litteraturstudier som följs av kartläggning och analys. I de avslutande kapitlen behandlas slutsatser och lösningsförslag.
Målet med lösningsförslagen är att få en bättre bild av verkligheten, en aktuell planering och en kortare genomloppstid genom att fokusera mer på ett ökat genomflöde istället för maskinutnyttjande. De slutsatser och lösningsförslag som framkommit är att det krävs en förbättrad planering och styrning för att uppnå kortare genomloppstider. För att lättare kunna kontrollera och följa upp produktionen bör tidplaner införas i detaljplaneringen. Eftersom köer utgör en stor del av genomloppstiden är det viktigt att kunna styra och kontrollera dessa i produktionen. För detta bör in- och utflöde vid resurser kontrolleras. Vidare bör enklare återrapportering införas för snabbare leveranser mellan resurser och för att en aktuell bild av beläggningen ska kunna skapas. För att få en tydligare bild av produktionen och kunna utvärdera den på ett bra sätt bör mätetal som underlättar detta införas.
Strävan har varit att ta framlösningsförslag som inte innebär stora investeringar och som kan genomföras relativt snabbt. De största förändringarna gäller planering och styrning vilket inte bör medföra några större kostnader.

Повний текст джерелаAlmost all research about climate change points to that the accelerating climate changes we see today, is to a large part caused by human activity. If we don’t reduce our energy usage, our emissions of greenhouse gases will increase heavily - which can lead to disasters in the future. To be able to solve potential problems and avoid disasters in the future, we have to start decreasing our energy usage immediately. In Sweden, the government has the goal of decreasing energy usage with about 20 % from 1995 to 2020, and 50% by 2050. Almost 40% of all energy usage is from the construction and property sector. However, to decrease energy usage within that sector we have to make current buildings more energy efficient. A major part of energy usage in the constructions sector goes to cover transmission losses through walls, windows, and thermal bridges. So, by choosing windows with low heat transfer and the correct isolation for the specific buildings, as well as, decreasing transmission losses through ventilation and heating would result in that a lot of energy can be saved. If a building has a low transmissions lose, the demand of energy would decrease remarkably. By installing ventilations systems with the function of heat recovery (FTX) so could the energy usage regarding preheated ventilation decrease heavily. While, the ventilation and heat recovery makes it possible to reuse energy from the outgoing air from the facilities to the cold air outside that shall be used in the facilities to maintain a good indoor environment; heat exchangers have an efficiency level of 0.85. To make old buildings energy efficient, it requires new installations and remodeling to adjust them to become environment friendly buildings. It can sometimes be hard to install FTX-systems in current buildings since air-handling units requires a lot of space, and that the financial write-off periods can be long. This thesis will investigate the ventilations- and preheating systems with a focus in installation technics and energy efficiency depending on how the facility will be used. The goals are to investigate how large the demand for energy is in a building, as well as, give suggestions to which ventilations systems that would fit best with the prospective building. With drawings of a locomotive workshop and miscellaneous information about the facility, and a model of the facility by the simulation program IDA ICE the energy demand in the building was simulated. When a model had been created the work with inputs and changes were made on the buildings - with help from input that has been receive from the client. Drawings of the ventilation were performed in Magi Cad and an air handling has been dimensioned on Swegon’s website. The temperature in the facility is affected by several factors, such as poor isolation etc. The facilities are not heated today besides through local heating at extreme low temperature to maintain a sufficient heat to not freeze the HVAC. The facilities have high moisture level, and at the same time some parts of the floor are made of very thick concrete plates. The results of the tests show that the best ventilation unit that is needed to manage the air flow of 11.6 (m3/s) should have the specific fan power of 2. 39 kW/ (m3/s). The buildings energy use became 610624 kWh/year in the simulation.

Повний текст джерелаEnquadramento: A literatura preconiza a implementação da estimulação multissensorial e motora segundo a filosofia do cuidado centrado na pessoa para melhorar a interação motora das pessoas com demência. No entanto, pouco se sabe sobre o impacto destas intervenções nas pessoas institucionalizadas com demência, quando implementadas por pessoas sem formação especializada nos cuidados matinais. Objetivos: Avaliar o impacto da estimulação multissensorial e motora nos comportamentos de interação motora das pessoas institucionalizadas com demência moderada a severa. Métodos: Neste estudo de tipo quasi-experimental pré-pós teste, recrutaram-se pessoas com demência e cuidadores formais de duas instituições com resposta social de lar. A recolha de dados consistiu em dados sociodemográficos de todos os participantes e clínicos apenas das pessoas com demência. Foram também recolhidas 6 gravações de vídeo durante os cuidados matinais antes e após a implementação de um programa semanal educativo de EMS e EM de 8 sessões semanais com duração de 90 minutos cada sessão onde os cuidadores formais adquiriram competências para realizar estimulação multissensorial e motora adaptadas às características das pessoas com demência. Para análise das gravações foi desenvolvida uma lista de comportamentos, um etograma. A frequência e duração de cada comportamento em estudo foram analisadas por dois observadores através do software Noldus The Observer XT versão 10. O estudo da fiabilidade entre observadores foi através do coeficiente de correlação intreclasse (CCI) equação (2,1) e do método Bland e Altman. Foi realizada uma análise descritiva e inferencial através do software IBM SPSS Statistics software (versão 20). As diferenças ocorridas entre os dois momentos de avaliação foram exploradas através do Teste de Sinais. Resultados: Foram incluídas 18 pessoas com demência moderada a severa e 34 cuidadores formais. Os residentes tinham em média 86,1 (±6,98) anos de idade e a maioria (n=14) era do sexo feminino. Os cuidadores tinham uma idade média de 46 (±9,82) anos e eram todos do sexo feminino. Foram recolhidos 108 vídeos. O CCI (2,1) revelou fiabilidade moderada a excelente variando entre 0,47 e 0,93. Também não se verificou qualquer viés sistemático entre os dois observadores. Verificou-se uma tendência positiva relativamente ao envolvimento. A duração do envolvimento aumentou de 104,54 (±61,62) para 112,46 (±72,82) e a duração do envolvimento voluntário aumentou de 29,33 (±63,74) para 32,04 (±62,35). A frequência da agressividade diminuiu, sendo 0,07 (±0,11) antes do programa e não ocorreu após o mesmo. No entanto nenhum resultado foi estatisticamente significativo. Conclusão: Os resultados são fiáveis, sugerem que os programas de estimulação bem estruturados e implementados por cuidadores formais podem ser aplicados durante a prestação dos cuidados e parecem apresentar efeitos positivos na interação motora das pessoas com demência. No entanto, investigações com metodologias mais robustas e amostras alargadas são necessários para contribuir para a evidência científica nesta área.
Background: Literature recommends the implementation of multisensory and motor stimulation according to the philosophy of person-centered care to improve motor interaction of people with dementia. However, very little is known of the impact of this intervention when carried out by people without specialized training. Aims: To assess the impact of multisensory and motor stimulation on the motor interaction of people with moderate to severe dementia. Methods: In this quasi-experimental pre- and posttest study, people with dementia and care staff of two residential care homes were recruited. The data collection consisted in demographic data of all participants and clinical data of the people with dementia. Six video recordings during morning care were also collected, before and after the implementation of an educational program. This program was designed using a multisensory and motor-based approach, in eight weekly 90-minutes sessions, where care staff acquired skills to perform multisensory and motor stimulation adapted to the characteristics of people with dementia. Video recordings were rated using a list of behaviors, an ethogram. Frequency and duration of each behavior was rated by two observers using the specialized software Noldus The Observer XT, version 10. The study of inter-observer reliability was performed using intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) equation (2,1) and the Bland and Altman method. A descriptive and inferential analysis was performed by IBM SPSS Statistics software (version 20). Occurring differences between the two evaluation moments were explored through the Signal Test. Results: 18 persons with moderate to severe dementia and 36 care staff members were included. The mean of the residents’ age was 86,1 (±6,98) years old and the majority were female (n=14). The caregivers’ mean age was 46 (±9,2) years old and all female. In all, there were collected 108 video recordings. The CCI equation (2.1), showed a moderate to excellent reliability ranging from 0.47 to 0.93. There was also no systematic bias between the two observers. Results showed a positive improvement in the resident’s engagement. The duration of engagement increased from 104.54 (± 61.62) to 112.46 (± 72.82) and the duration of voluntary involvement increased from 29.33 (± 63.74) to 32.04 (± 62.35). The frequency of aggressiveness decreased, being that of 0.07 (± 0.11) before the program and inexistent after the program. However the results were not statistically significant. Conclusion: The results are reliable and suggest that well-structured stimulation programs, implemented by staff care, can be applied during morning care and show positive effects on the motor interaction of people with dementia. However, investigations with more robust methodologies and extended samples are urgently needed to contribute to the scientific evidence in this area.

Повний текст джерелаThe aim of the study was to investigate the influence of a motor intervention with Mastery Motivational Climate and physical education classes in motor skills, physical activity levels, nutritional status, and perceived motor competence. To better meet the objectives, the dissertation was divided into two articles: one analyzing the impact of intervention and school physical education classes in motor skills, physical activity levels, body mass index and perceived motor competence. The second article examined the impact of interventions in these same variables, but gathering the children's motor intervention and physical education according to risk factors (motor present difficulties and being overweight). Participated in the first study 45 children aged 5 to 7 years divided into two groups: 11 boys and 10 girls in the motor intervention group and 12 boys and 12 girls in school physical education group. The second study participated 43 children aged 5 to 7 years divided into two groups: 11 boys and 9 girls in motor intervention group and 12 boys and 11 girls in school physical education group. To analyze categorize the motor performance we used the Movement Asssessment Battery for Children - Second Edition (MABC-2) and the Test of Gross Motor Development - Second Edition (TGMD-2) was used to analyze the motor skills of children; the analysis of the nutritional status was given by calculating the body mass index categorized as the curves of the Center Disease Control. Physical activity levels were measured in at least three classes before starting classes also in the final three lessons. To analyze the perceived motor competence was used the driving range Pictorial Scale of Perceived Competence and Social Acceptance for Young Children. The methodology of interventional program was the Motivational Climate Mastery implemented through strategies TARGET structure. For data analysis we used descriptive statistics, General Linear Model with repeated measures on the time factor to analyze the influence of intervening variables in the program. One Way ANOVA and paired t test were used as continuity tests to analyze the changes of time pre to post-intervention and to compare groups. The results show that: Article 1: only the motor intervention positively influenced the large motor skills, specifically locomotion skills and control objects, and the physical activity levels of children. Article 2: a) only the children of the motor intervention group, regardless of the sub-groups to which they belonged (overweight with physical, healthy difficulties with mobility or health problems typically developing), showed improvements in the large motor skills (mobility and control skills Objects); b) the levels of physical activity and participation in motor intervention group explained 9% and 57%, respectively, of the wide variation in motor skills of children. We conclude that the intervention program was effective to include children with different characteristics and improve engine performance and physical activity levels of children with and without motor difficulties and children with healthy weight and overweight. The results infer the need for structured physical activities and mediation of physical education teachers to improve engine performance and increase the physical activity levels of children.

Повний текст джерелаIn recent years, more and more concerned about the worsening girls health (Forbes ir kt., 2004), and body dissatisfaction is associated with negative physical and mental health and risky behavior (the use of diet, fasting, etc.) which is connected with the development eating disorders, low self-esteem, depression, self-mutilation and even suicide. The aim - to explore girls and their mothers relationship connection to interfaces with body dissatisfaction and mother usable educational style. Subjects and methods. The study included 259 girls of II – IV gymnasium classes in Zarasai anr Utena and 259 girls' mother. The study used this technique: the body shape questionnaire (BSQ), satisfaction body questionnaire (BSS), the figure rating scale (FRS), Child's attitude toward mother scale (CAM), The Parenting Styles and Dimensions Questionnaire (PSDQ). The results showed that mothers' body parts dissatisfaction is associated with daughter’s body parts dissatisfaction, and girls whose relationship with her mother is worse are more dissatisfied with their bodies, than girls who have beter relationship. Statistically significant differences between mothers bodys dissatisfaction and daughters, relationships with her mother problematic assessment was not found. Mothers who more use an authoritarian parentng style are more disatisfied with appearance than mothers who use less an authoritarian parentng style.
