Abstract Omnis Determinatio est Negatio. On Habermas, Myth, and Truth With his monumental genealogy of Western philosophy Jürgen Habermas delivers an achievement that is worthy of great praise. In carefully constructed arguments he presents in detail the close connection between, and the mutual indebtedness of, religion and philosophy as they developed in the West for more than two millennia. With regard to the current state of affairs he acknowledges that we should continue to engage with subjects such as purpose, meaningfulness, and how to behave. He proposes that where religion is withdrawing, philosophy should take its place. In spite of its great merits, there are some fundamental shortcomings in the overall image Habermas wishes to convey. By suggesting that Western religion and philosophy have been the major driving forces not only of cognitive but also of ethical progress, he underestimates the moral value of pre-Socratic and other holistic world views that radically differ from the idiosyncratic Western one. For example, he perceives Homer’s mythological thinking as nothing but a primitive state of mind against which the ethical and intellectual progress of later developments could come to the fore. This paper proposes that we should give much more weight to the difference between the ‘cognitive’ and the ‘ethical’ than Habermas does. In principle, as a form of argumentative reasoning, philosophy belongs to the (cognitive) domain of truth. As such, it is not a suitable successor to religion. On the other hand, provided they operate primarily within their own domain – which is the domain of meaningfulness –, religion (in whatever form), literature and the arts, ancient myth, friendship, love, and humour may still be best equipped to sharpen our sense of justice and help us deal with feelings of moral disorientation and fragmentation.

Анотація:
A good place of business to implement accounting knowledge in the process of running its business. Researchers teach inventory cards to one of the tofu factory owners in order to simplify or expedite factory operations, both production and sales. The same goes for order cards. Therefore, we feel that information regarding the use of the two cards needs to be conveyed to the place of business, especially in Gorontalo City, Gorontalo Province. Then we chose the Tofu and Tempe Factory owned by local residents as a place of service which we also used as a place of research. This research method is descriptive qualitative using lectures, interviews, and hands-on practice on how to use inventory cards and order cards. Sebuah tempat usaha baiknya mengimplementasikan ilmu akuntansi dalam proses berjalannya usahanya. Peneliti mengajarkan kartu persediaan kepada salah satu pemilik pabrik tahu agar mempermudah atau memperlancar operasional pabrik baik produksi maupun penjualan. Begitu pun dengan kartu pesanan. Oleh karena itu kami merasa informasi mengenai penggunaan kedua kartu tersebut perlu disampaikan pada tempat usaha khususnya yang berada di Kota Gorontalo, Provinsi Gorontalo. Kemudian kami memilih Pabrik Tahu dan Tempe milik warga setempat sebagai tempat pengabdian yang juga kami jadikan sebagai tempat penelitian. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan cara ceramah, wawancara, dan praktik langsung bagaiaman cara menggunakan kartu persediaan dan kartu pesanan.

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of children's cognitive development through the media of cardboard number cards in PAUD CERIA, Pagar Agung Village, Seluma Barat District, Seluma Regency, to find out whether the use of used cardboard number card media can improve children's cognitive development in PAUD CERIA, Pagar Agung Village. Seluma Barat District, Seluma Regency. Classroom Action Research (CAR), which focuses on classroom situations, or commonly known as classroom action research, the procedure used is in the form of a cycle. The main subjects in this study were children of PAUD CERIA Desa Pagar Agung Kec. West Seluma Kab. Seluma group B numbered 16 people. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation methods. Data analysis was carried out in a descriptive qualitative-quantitative manner with the emphasis being used to determine the improvement in the process expressed in a predicate, while quantitative data analysis was used to determine the increase in yield using a percentage. The research concludes that the cognitive development of children through the media of card numbers from used cardboard in PAUD Ceria Pagar Agung Village, Seluma Barat District, Seluma Regency is well developed.

„Children to children. Let‘s do experiments together“ is the project where senior students share their experience and knowledge among primary school students. The senior students prepare for such kind of activities very responsibly: they search for information not only in the student‘s books, but also in extra literature and prepare the interesting worksheets. Every experiment starts from the theoretical part where the senior students try to introduce the primary students to activities. Later they do experiments: examine the snow cover, the amount of starch in different kinds of potatoes, identify the tree age and compare the prints of tree trunks, study the fingerprints using the microscopes, produce lemonade, construct the fountain in the classroom, learn to make a fire without matches, construct the robots from the material for recycling. We are glad that students can do the experiments themselves. Such kind of collaboration is very useful. The bright students can actualize their abilities, develop their competencies in studying. The adaptation process is much easier at the beginning of the school year in the fifth grade because the students are still in close relationship with their first teacher. All students approve that such kind of lessons are very interesting and useful. Key words: senior and primary school students, collaboration, an experiment, competency.

This thesis deals about a digitizer design. The digitizer is part of air-band monitoring receiver. Requirement is digitalization of two audio signals. The device communicates with PC through USB interface and it provides reading and writing to SD card. The STM32F4DISCOVERY development board with processor STM32F407VGT6 was used for design and function testing. This development kit is supplemented with other peripherals on an extern board (input audio circuits and SD slots). The thesis describes briefly theory for each issue which this project deals with. One part is engaged to the hardware design. Then there is a description of the PC software for the device controlling. The main part of the thesis is about the development of the firmware for MCU, which manages AD conversion, formatting of the voice signal, USB communication (HID and Mass Storage class), recording and reading from the SD card and additional peripherals.

This thesis deals with the communication on the PCI bus and the design of controllers for the PCI card with FPGA circuit. The introduction shows the functionality and structure of FPGA circuits, followed by description of the principle of communication through the PCI bus. After an analysis of the PCI the thesis describes a design of controllers for a target card and lets the reader get acquainted with its different parts. In the process of implementation carefully examines the structure and operation of individual blocks of PCI controller. In the following part the thesis shows the process of implementation and testing of the final solution using the educational card with FPGA circuit.

Prigimtinėje būklėje žmogus perdavė savo teises Tautos atstovams, kurie geriausiai galėjo atstovauti jo nteresus, taip buvo įkurta įstatymų leidžiamoji valdžia. Visuomenės resursų valdymui bei sprendimų vykdymui buvo įkurta vykdomoji valdžia. Taigi, turėdamos skirtingą paskirtį visuomenės gyvenime, įstatymų leidžiamoji ir vykdomoji valdžios veikė išimtinai tik savo srityje, tokiu būdu galėdamos nešališkai, todėl geriausiai atstovauti Tautą bei dirbti jos labui. Tokia pagrindinė istorinio valdžių padalijimo principo prigimties idėja, kurią, įvairiai modifikuotą ar gryną, kaip demokratijos garantą, perėmė dauguma tiek labiausiai išsivysčiusių Vakarų Europos, tiek kitų žemynų valstybės. Pagal valdžių padalijimo principo pradininkų veikaluose išdėstytą doktriną, demokratinio valdymo šalyje turi būti trijų valdžių sąranga – įstatymų leidžiamoji, įstatymų vykdomoji bei teisminė. Minėta, kiekviena valdžios šaka turi tik jai priskirtus įgaliojimus ir jokiu būdu negali jų nei deleguoti, nei perimti iš kitos valdžios šakos, juo labiau negali būti valdžių susiliejimo. Tačiau valdžių atskyrimas nereiškia valdžių savitikslio savarankiškumo, - tai reiškia, kad valdžios bendradarbiauja ir įgyvendina tokį valdžių pusiausvyros lygį, kurio dėka nė viena valdžia neturėtų pranašumo prieš kitą. Tuo pačiu pagal šį principą turi būti nuolat atliekama parlamentinė kontrolė Vyriausybės atžvilgiu. Tik tokiu būdu bus tinkamai garantuotos Tautos teisės bei laisvės. Every human being living in the State of Nature had equal opportunities. Because of the growth of human race, this state altered and the interests of each individual person began to intersect, especially when talking about property. As a result, the rights and freedoms of each individual person were taken under threat. Therefore people began to organize themselves into societies in order to solve collective issues of society all together. When they had elected the most competent representatives, able to represent the interests of all Nation the best they could, people living in the State of Nature voluntarily waived their rights for handling particular issues in collective manner. The first aim of the representatives was the welfare of people. Thus the fundamental institute of the highest government was born. However, decisions taken in the name of all the people would have no power if they could not be enforced and would not reflect interests of the Nation. Seeking to implement supervision, the executive power was established which took care of the general welfare and the realization of all decisions. Thus, having a different purpose in society, legislature and executive authorities acted solely for their own sphere. Resumo: O Kards tem como objetivo ser um ambiente para programação inteligente de atividades em um ambiente especializado onde se utilize um conhecimento específico. Desenvolvido como um sistema para processamento de Linguagens Formais Nebulosas suportado pelo conceito de Sistema Distribuído, onde agentes primitivos se encarregam da implementação das propriedades básicas do sistema e agentes complexos são criados como equipes de agentes primitivos para processar uma Linguagem Formal Nebulosa. Esta Linguagem Formal Nebulosa é aquela requerida para implementar uma aplicação específica, isto é, aquela utilizada para processar o conhecimento especializado que define uma aplicação. As sentenças desta Linguagem Formal Nebulosa são armazenadas na base de dados sob uma sintaxe de redes. O sistema Kards possui ferramentas para: a) implementação e manuseio de bases de dados; b) representação do conhecimento especializado através de redes de processamento e redes de raciocínio; c) simulação do raciocínio especializado através da navegação das redes de raciocínio; d) aquisição sensorial de dados através de sistemas de conversão analógico-digital, scanner e mesa digitalizadora, e) reconhecimento sensorial de padrões através de paradigmas de aprendizado e reconhecimento sintático de padrões; f) aprendizado e processamento do jargão utilizado para comunicação em ambientes especializados; g) atuação inteligente no ambiente externo dentro dos paradigmas de controle nebuloso através do uso de conversão digital-analógico.O Kards é um sistema auto-referenciado, pois utiliza a própria sintaxe do sistema para descrever suas estruturas básicas. É apresentado um exemplo de aplicação na área de engenharia de petróleo
Abstract: KARDS provides a computational environment for intelligent programming of activities supported by expert knowledge. It is a tool for Fuzzy Formal Language processing using the paradigm of Distributed Processing Systems, where primitive agents are in charge of handling the basic system's basic rules and complex agents are created as teams of these primitive agents in charge of processing a given Fuzzy Formal Language. This language is the one required to implement the desired application, that is the one supporting the expert knowledge used in the application. The sentences of this Fuzzy Formal Language compose a Data Base and a network syntax is used for storing purpose. The systems provides tools for a) Data Base handling and implementation; b) knowledge representation by means of processing and reasoning networks; c) expert knowledge simulation by means of network navigation; d) sensory data acquisition from A/D devices, scanners and tablets; e) sensory pattern recognition by means of syntactical and network paradigms; f) learning and processing the restricted language (jargon) used in the expert environment, and g) intelligent action over the external environment using the paradigm of fuzzy control. KARDS is a self-referred system, because it takes profit of its own syntax to represent its basic structures. An example of application in the oil industry is presented.

Rakstā analizēts Baltazara Rusova “Livonijas hronikas” koncepts par Livonijas karu kā Dieva sodu, veicot salīdzinājumu ar 16. gadsimtā Livonijā un citviet Eiropā tapušiem tekstiem ar politiskās teoloģijas ievirzi. Teksta analīze no politiskās teoloģijas skatpunkta priekšplānā nostāda hronikas autora pasaules uztveres elementus, kas līdzšinējā izpētē bijuši mazāk aktualizēti. Kā būtisks aspekts Rusova izpratnē par karu kā Dieva sodu tiek atklāta ticība Dieva sūtītām brīdinājuma zīmēm. Salīdzinājums ar reformācijas teoloģijas pamatlicēju idejām atklāj Rusova priekšstatu ciešu saistību ar luterāņu politiskās teoloģijas nostādnēm par taisnīgu karu, Dieva sodu un dabas parādību interpretēšanu. Hronika iekļaujas kopējā reformācijas laikmeta 16. gadsimta teoloģiskajā tradīcijā, plašākos konceptus lietojot lokālās Livonijas politiskās situācijas interpretācijai.

Līdz ar Latvijas Republikas neatkarības atgūšanu tās nosargāšanai bija nepieciešami savi bruņotie spēki, tāpēc paralēli Zemessardzei tika izveidoti Aizsardzības spēki, no kuriem skaitliski vislielākā vienība bija Robežsargu brigāde. 1. Valmieras robežsardzes bataljona izveidē un darbībā atspoguļojās arī tālaika Latvijas bruņoto spēku attīstība un grūtības kopumā, kas neaprobežojās tikai ar Robežsargu brigādes spēkiem. Lai sīkāk izpētītu šīs problēmas 1. Valmieras robežsargu bataljona piemērā, tika aplūkotas tādas bataljona agrīnā veidošanās posma problēmas kā personālsastāvs, dienests un bruņojums, kas ļāva secināt, ka vienības attīstībai visvairāk traucējošais faktors bija tieši kadru trūkums.

Egy hadviselési mód vagy fegyverzet kialakulását egymással szorosan összefüggő, kölcsönhatásban lévő tényezők alakítják ki. Elsősorban az adott történelmi kor-korszak a meghatározó. Meghatározó a földrajzi tényező, azaz a domborzat és az éghajlat. Ott, ahol trópusi meleg van és magas a páratartalom, nem lehet vastag nemez- vagy bőrpáncélt hordani. A vékony vászonruha átvágására, átszúrására pedig egy könnyebb, vékonyabb, hajlékonyabb pengéjű kard vagy szablya is elég. Egy erősebb páncélról e könnyű fegyverek lepattannának, és szúráskor nem lenne elég stabilitásuk, nem lenne elég a szúrónyomaték. De vannak olyan fegyverek és harceljárások, amelyeket akár több mint ezer évig is használtak többféle harcmezőn és körülmények közt is.

Limbah kardus merupakan limbah rumah tangga yang mengandung selulosa dan hemiselulosa yang mungkin dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media pertumbuhan jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus). Jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus) merupakan jamur yang banyak dikonsumsi masyarakat. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan produksi jamur adalah dengan memperbaiki kualitas media budidaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh limbah kardus dan bekatul terhadap pertumbuhan jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini adalah K0 = 0% (tanpa diberi limbah kardus dan bekatul), K1 = 50% limbah kardus + 30% bekatul, K2 = 60% limbah kardus + 25% bekatul, K3 = 70% limbah kardus + 20% bekatul dan K4 = 80% limbah kardus + 15% bekatul. Parameter yang diamati yaitu hari pemenuhan miselium, jumlah badan buah, lebar tudung, berat basah dan panjang tangkai. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji One Way Anova dan apabila terdapat pengaruh dilanjutkan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanaya pengaruh perlakuan limbah kardus terhadap pertumbuhan jamur yaitu pada parameter hari pemenuhan miselium, jumlah badan buah, lebar tudung, dan berat basah. Perlakuan yang paling baik sebagai media tumbuh jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus) yaitu perlakuan K3.

Straipsnyje yra pateikiamas orinio šilumos siurblio, kuris yra sumontuotas ant Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universiteto, Aplinkos inžinerijos fakulteto stogo, eksperimentinis tyrimas kartu su saulės siena, kuri yra įrengta ant to paties pastato pietinės pusės. Šio tyrimo metu, taikant specialų gaubtą, yra sujungiamos šilumos siurblio ir saulės sienos sistemos. Eksperimento tikslas – ištirti galimybę šioms dviems sistemoms veikti kartu. Atlikus eksperimentą buvo nustatyta, kad saulės sienoje lauko oras vidutiniškai pašyla 4,03 °C. Šilumos siurblio efektyvumas (COP) nagrinėjamuoju laikotarpiu svyruoja tarp 1,6 ir 2,4, ir toks svyravimas yra esant skirtingoms lauko oro temperatūroms. Tyrimo metu nustatyta, kad žemėjant lauko oro temperatūrai, mažėja ir tiekiamo šilumnešio temperatūra.

A tanulmány egy 2–3. századi szarmata temetőrészletben feltárt sírral foglalkozik. A sír körárkos, halmos, férfitemetkezés, mely rablottsága ellenére újabb adatokkal szolgál a fa sírkamrák szerkezetére vonatkozóan. A sír jellegzetes leletei: egy gyűrűs markolatú kard töredéke és a lábbeli szíjazatának berakásokkal díszített ezüstveretei. A berakások anyagát természettudományos vizsgálatok során variszcitként azonosítottuk.
