Анотація:
This study aims to find out the forms of juvenile delinquency, the factors that cause juvenile delinquency and the ways or efforts to overcome juvenile delinquency at public senior high schools in Bantaeng regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The study employed a qualitative study by applying the phenomenology approach. The data source consisted of 20 people, namely three headmasters, seven counseling guidance teachers, two student’s parents, and eight students. Data collection methods consisted of observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis technique was carried out through three stages, namely: data reduction, data display, and concluding. The study results indicated that the forms of juvenile delinquency were in the forms of delinquency which cause physical casualties, i.e., fighting; which cause material casualties, i.e., smoking, blackmail, drinking liquor, and consuming drugs; and that were against the status, i.e., absent and truant in attending the class and school. The factors that cause juvenile delinquency were internal factors including lack of interest, lack of awareness, and the weak of self-control. External factors included the family environment, the school environment, and the community environment. The efforts to overcome juvenile delinquency were a preventive and curative attempt. Curative efforts include religious, family, and coaching approaches. The curative effort includes mediating the causes of juvenile delinquency, talking through parents, making statements, making resumes, giving opportunities to present religious speeches by the forms of delinquency made, providing sanctions for cleaning mosques, toilets, and standing in the field. Also, this study recommended allowing smoking made from cow dung and HVS papers for students who smoke.

The article examines the regulatory regulation of the sphere of prevention of neglect and juvenile delinquency, it analyses the system of bodies and institutions functioning in this area of legal relations. The authors note the shortcomings in the current legislation on the prevention of neglect and juvenile delinquency, and suggest specific ways to eliminate them. The article touches upon the problems of legislative consolidation of the principles of activities for the prevention of neglect and juvenile delinquency; normative definition of certain terms of legislation on the prevention of neglect and juvenile delinquency; enumeration of the range of subjects of prevention of neglect and juvenile delinquency. It is concluded that the introduction of volunteer organisations will help the bodies and institutions of the system for the prevention of neglect and juvenile delinquency at a higher level to carry out individual and direct preventive work with minors who find themselves in a difficult life situation, as well as to establish a balance of interests of the minor and its family members.

This thesis explored the relationship between youth delinquency, family intervention treatment and recidivism through a meta-analysis of existing literature. Fifty individual effect size estimates were derived from thirty-five experimental research studies examining the impact of involving families in the treatment of young offenders. Initially, family intervention treatment was found to significantly reduce the recidivism of young offenders compared to non-familial responses to youth crime. Methodology, however, was found to be a crucial determinant of the reported effects of treatment; studies using less rigorous methods tended to produce significantly higher rates of success than studies using more rigorous methods. In terms of treatment characteristics, programs treating younger offenders and programs with voluntary participation displayed significantly lower levels of reported recidivism. The results suggested the need to develop more rigorous methods and reporting practices and to target younger offenders with voluntary family-based interventions.

This study examined how restorative justice programs impact the probability of recidivism among juvenile offenders. It compared juveniles who completed restorative justice programs versus juveniles who were released with warning from the courts. Both groups were compared to determine if restorative justice juveniles outcomes differed based on recidivism. Logistic regression showed that restorative justice programs had statistically significant increased odds of recidivating when compared to juveniles released with a warning. However, when the groups of restorative justice were disaggregated, only the adjudicated juveniles were statistically significant. Survival time analysis showed that restorative justice juveniles have longer survival times of recidivism when compared to juveniles released with a warning. Suggestions for further research and analysis are discussed with respect to the current results.

Risk and protective factors for juvenile delinquency are identified and addressed at national and local levels. A need for an information, referral, and volunteer center to reduce risk factors and promote protective factors in youth was identified in Warren County. The ALIVE Center (A Local Information and Volunteer Exchange) was founded to address this need. Qualitative research of services and programs offered by information, referral, and volunteer centers and a survey to specific local agencies as regards their use of the ALIVE Center was conducted to guide the development of services at the ALIVE Center. Information, resource, and referral centers across the nation were researched to determine the scope of programs and services offered. A 19-question survey was developed to assess the current status and use of the ALIVE Center and administered to center coordinators at Kentucky Family Resource and Youth Services Centers affiliated with Warren County and Bowling Green City Schools. Qualitative research from the information, resource, and referral centers yielded contact information, program descriptions, website information, and brochures of 39 centers. This research was used during the formative stage of the center and generated ideas for the center's website and guided youth program development. The results of the survey indicated that the ALIVE Center was extremely familiar to center coordinators at Family Resource and Youth Service Centers and regarded as extremely effective in providing services.

Social work and crime prevention are synergistically linked: crime prevention and treatment of offenders are an integral part of social policy, and solving social problems is a strong factor in crime prevention, which is why social work presents an important segment of the formal social response to crime. Social protection institutions have a particularly important role in combating juvenile delinquency. The paper analyzes the place and role of social work and social protection services in the formal reaction of society to juvenile criminality in the context of contemporary criminological knowledge about the etiology of juvenile delinquency. The situation, problems and perspectives of social work in the function of prevention of juvenile criminality in Serbia are especially analyzed.

The data of an experimental study of the features of aggressive behavior in teenage drug addicts, as well as the possibility of controlling and self-regulation of aggressive manifestations in this category of individuals are presented. The growth of aggressive trends in adolescence reflects one of the most acute social problems of modern societies, where drug addiction, alcoholism, and juvenile delinquency have risen sharply in recent years. To study the features of aggressive behavior of teenage drug addicts, we used a battery of valid methods and methods aimed at assessing the specifics of aggressive manifestations, personal, motivational, strong-willed and other features of teenage drug addicts. The article shows that, indeed, the aggressive behavior of teenage drug addicts has its own distinctive features, determined by the presence of accentuation or psychopathy of character, inadequate self-esteem, self-centeredness; violations of attitudes, motivation, affective sphere of personality, with irritability and increased excitability; the predominance of verbal, physical forms of aggression, suspicion; the orientation of aggression to external objects, in addition, the characteristics of the aggressive behavior of teenage drug addicts depend on a number of microsocial factors, etc. In order to increase the effectiveness of preventive and rehabilitation work with aggressive teenage drug addicts, such methods of action show effectiveness as: mandatory and primary treatment of adolescents is drug addicts, the inclusion of adolescents in this category in the anonymous grooms of drug addicts, in the system of socially recognized and socially approved activities the use of psychotherapy, methods of active psychological impact; conducting educational and preventive work with the inner circle of a teenage drug addict, etc. The article presents reasonable conclusions from a stating experiment, and offers recommendations for the prevention and correction of selfregulation of aggressive manifestations in teenage drug addicts.

Childhood is the beginning of life, and education during this period is crucial to a person's growth. Life education is an important part of the basic education system, and life education for children is conducive to establishing the correct values of life from an early age, learning to respect and care for their own lives and the lives of others. Life education has always been the weakness of the Chinese education system, and the lack of awareness of life education among children from an early age has led to many tragedies. Life education in China is still in the exploratory stage, and the research and development of life education products for children is still insufficient, so it is of great social value to study how to design better life education products.This paper studies the product design of children's life education from the perspective of the Social Control Theory, which is a long-established criminological theory that studies how to comply with social rules and prevent impermissible behavior. The Social Bond Theory in Social Control Theory holds that the four key elements of "attachment", "commitment", "involvement" and "belief", also known as social bonds, help people reduce their criminal tendencies. Social Control Theory has been widely used in the study of juvenile delinquency, but few researchers currently apply it to the field of children’s life education, so it is a novel perspective and method to apply Social Control Theory to children's life education design research. It brings forward social control from crime prevention to promoting children's education, this is relevant and reasonable.This paper first uses the interdisciplinary research method, integrates the multidisciplinary knowledge of sociology and psychology to study and summarize the Social Control Theory, and combines Piaget's cognitive development theory and other educational theories to study children's life education, summarizes the connection between social control and children's life education, and constructs the basic framework of life education system from the perspective of social control. In this paper, we used python crawler to collect data about children's life education products and summarize the current situation of children's life education product design. The questionnaire method was used to obtain the data of approval degree of parents of kindergarten children for children's life education and in the investigation of the attributes of children's life education products they value. Design suggestions for children's life education products are provided from the perspective of the four aspects of the social bond of social control theory: attachment, commitment, involvement and belief.This paper summarizes the connection between Social Control Theory and children's life education. From the perspective of social control, the continued development of life education deficiency is deviance and crime, and the purpose of children's life education is firstly to guide children to learn to comply with norms and to create values, and secondly to develop self-control from an early age and learn to cope with emotional changes.
