This article aims to determine the effectiveness, constraints faced by Duta Genre in socialize Genre Program BKKBN in Padang City. As well as knowing how far the role of government overcome the genre ambassador problem in socialize genre BKKBN program. This research uses a qualitative approach which is interpreted as a research resulting in a descriptive form of words that can be observed and directed to the background individually and in society. A qualitative research approach is a complex, in-depth approach. The informant is derived from the management of the generation planning Program, including Kasubid area of population control, counseling and mobilization DP3AP2KB Kota Padang, and from the Genre ambassadors. Based on the results of the study, the genre ambassadors in socialize BKKBN program in Padang City can be said to be effective. Padang City people feel the benefits of the presence of the genre ambassadors in socialize Genre BKKBN program. The changes that occurred after the ambassador genre can also be seen from the problem of young marriage, Napza, free sex, and readiness of human resources who are ready to receive the BKKBN program through the genre ambassadors by proving the public can Overcome obstacles. But there is still a shortage in the implementation of the genre ambassador activities in socialize Genre BKKBN program is weak supervision done to the event of the ambassador of the genre itself.

This article builds a theoretical model for comparative analysis of media culture based on the notion of genre, and applies it to a comparative analysis of television as a cultural form in socialist and post-socialist Croatia. The paper explores how the shares and generic composition of program modes of information, entertainment and fiction change in time, and how the contribution of different genres to program flow and modes varies with the changes of political, economic and technological context. Longitudinal trends in television flows are comparatively evaluated in relation to trends in genre developments in Europe and their relationship to the changes in the cultural role of television. The results show a decrease in the information and an increase in the fiction mode between socialism and democracy, with some similarities of the Croatian and western television culture in relation to genre and mode composition and flow, albeit with a belated introduction of neo television genres. Notwithstanding the limited freedom of expression and ideological content, which necessarily influenced socialist media culture, television as a cultural form in Croatia developed in concert with the global program flows. The article is based on original content analysis of television schedules where the unit of analysis is a televisions program listing. The analogue television universe is represented by longitudinal data for 1959, 1969, 1979, 1989, 1999, and 2009. The stratified systematic sample (N=3934) for each chosen year consists of two constructed weeks from a universe of all listed programs broadcast on all free to air television channels with a national reach license.

Genre is an important thing in planning film or TV program. This paper focuses on exploring two national TV programs that use docudrama genre to deliver people’s real past to represent their religious experience. By conducting interview with the producer of Obat Malam and Solusi TV program, the aim of this paper is to examine why docudrama genre used to represent religious experience in Obat Malam and Solusi TV program. The interview was conducted online via zoom meeting and involved the producer manager as the single participant. The open ended questions were used in the interview. A mix coding technique was applied in the interview data collection analysis. The findings show that producer’s perspective puts emphasis on docudrama genre as a configuration of particular elements, highlights visual narrative aspects, and accentuates qualities of docudrama modes of documentary. It can be concluded that docudrama genre meets the need of creative and contextual way to present religious experience to the viewers.

Abstract This study aims to see the benefits of INCAR in the implementation of the National Program of Generation Plans (GenRe) for youth and the community. Based on the results of the analysis, the program allows teenagers / peers to pulse to "Duta GenRe". Teens are given information by peers about the importance of health, skills and life skills, and counseling services. The implementation constraints of GenRe in the regions, especially the outer regions of Indonesia are not running smoothly due to risk factors and transportation. Therefore, BPPKB performs a method of delivering information called INCAR (Intelligent Smart Information) to convey the information needed to attract and modernize to solve existing problems using digital media. The result, has formed a variety of digital information media and social networking in the form of Teen PIK Blog, teen sites on Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Instagram and others. In conclusion, the perceived benefit of INCAR in the GenRe Program is that BPPKB has succeeded in delivering information to teenagers in outer areas. With INCAR the teenagers in the remote areas can update the latest info. Benefits felt by the community, especially the school and parents is channeled teenagers activities in a positive container and monitored the activities of children and adolescents Another party and parents no longer feel worried about the association of teenagers. Keywords: youth, GenRe, INCAR Abstrak Kajian ini bertujuan melihat kemanfaatan INCAR dalam pelaksanaan Program Nasional Generasi Berencana (GenRe) bagi remaja dan masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, program ini melibatkan remaja/anak sebaya berpotensi menjadi “Duta GenRe”. Remaja diberikan informasi oleh teman sebayanya tentang pentingnya kesehatan reproduksi, keterampilan dan kecakapan hidup, serta pelayanan konseling. Kendala pelaksanaan GenRe di daerah, khususnya daerah terluar Indonesia tidak berjalan mulus dikarenakan hambatan faktor geografis dan transportasi. Karena itu BPPKB meluncurkan suatu metode penyampaian informasi disebut INCAR (Informasi Cerdas Ala Remaja) untuk menyampaikan informasi yang bernilai positif namun tetap dalam kemasan menarik dan modern untuk mengatasi permasalahan remaja yang kompleks dengan memanfaatkan media teknologi digital. Hasilnya, telah terbentuk berbagai media informasi digital dan jejaring sosial dalam bentuk Blog PIK Remaja, komunitas remaja di Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Instagram dan lainnya. Kesimpulannya, manfaat yang dirasakan dengan adanya INCAR dalam Program GenRe adalah BPPKB berhasil mengatasi kendala penyampaian informasi kepada remaja di daerah sulit dijangkau. Dengan adanya INCAR para remaja yang berada di pedalaman dapat meng-update info-info terbaru. Manfaat yang dirasakan masyarakat khususnya sekolah dan orang tua adalah tersalurkannya kegiatan remaja di dalam wadah yang positif dan terpantaunya kegiatan anak dan remaja sehingga pihak sekolah dan para orang tua tidak lagi merasa khawatir dengan pergaulan remaja. Latar Belakang : Program GenRe adalah suatu program untuk memfasilitasi terwujudnya tegar remaja, yaitu remaja yang berperilaku sehat, terhindar dari risiko Triad KRR, menunda usia pernikahan, mempunyai perencanaan kehidupan berkeluarga untuk mewujudkan keluarga kecil bahagia sejahtera. Pentingnya dilakukan penelitian tentang program GenRe agar dapat membantu pemerintah dalam menjalankan program kerja untuk menurunkan angka kejadian pernikahan dini, narkoba dan sek bebas. Tujuan: Mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan remaja tentang program GenRe di SMP Negeri 2 Penebel. Metode : Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Penebel, pada bulan agustus 2020 dengan Jumlah sample sebanyak 75 siswa yang di ambil secara random. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang diberikan secara online dengan item pertanyaan 15 soal dan analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat. Hasil dan simpulan : gambaran pengetahuan remaja tentang program GenRe di SMP Negeri 2 Penebel sebagian besar dalam katagori baik yaitu 62 responden sebanyak (82,7%). Kesimpulan : Gambaran pengetahuan remaja tentang program GenRe sebagian besar dalam kategori baik.

Candidate programs are a publication of political parties during the agitation campaign, which presents the political attitudes of a political actor and influence voters’ motivation to vote in elections. The electoral candidate program illustrates a politician’s relationship with voters. It is an element of political communication, part of the image of a political figure. The article deals with the rhetoric of electoral candidate programs announced before the elections to the Seimas, the European Parliament, and Municipal Councils (2014–2019). The aim is to identify and expand the characteristic rhetorical elements that allow qualifying political electoral programs as a specific genre of political rhetoric: at the inventive level, the study of rhetorical strategies includes the analysis of rhetorical reasoning, the relationship between a political actor and a voter; at the dispositional level, the composition of programs is analyzed; and finally, at the elocutionary level, the specifics of the linguistic expression of discourse are investigated. A rhetorical study of discourse revealed that, in many cases, the electoral candidate program functions as a tool for building the image of a political actor, a tool for discrediting opponents and spreading populist promises.

Indonesia adalah salah satu negara yang memiliki permasalahan dalam kependudukan. Jumlah penduduk yang tinggi mengakibatkan kurangnya wadah dalam upaya peningkatan sumber daya manusia. Oleh karena itu, Untuk merespon permasalahan tersebut Direktorat Bina Ketahanan Remaja Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) mengadakan sebuah program yang bernama “Generasi Berencana (GenRe)”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan melihat keberhasilan pelaksanaan program GenRe dalam membantu merealisasikan UU RI Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional khususnya pembentukkan karakter remaja di Kota Padang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif metode deskriptif. Pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu 40 orang informan yang tersebar di 6 titik Kota Padang Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Program GenRe adalah program yang dikembangkan dalam rangka persiapan bonus demografi 2030 untuk membentuk tegar remaja yang kreatif, inovatif dan penuh perencanaan masa depan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) Program GenRe sejalan dengan filosofi hidup orang Minangkabau “Adat basandi sarak, sarak basandi kitabullah, sarak mangato, adat mamakai, alam takambang jadi guru”. Melalui program ini dapat terlihat dengan jelas perpaduan antara aturan adat, agama, dan Negara dalam rangka membentuk karakter generasi muda, (2) Pembentukkan karakter remaja dilakukan melalui dua pendekatan yaitu secara langsung (sekolah) dan secara tidak langsung (orang tua). Namun, pembentukkan karakter remaja di Kota Padang melalui program GenRe belum terlaksana secara optimal karena tiga faktor (1) Operasional waktu, (2) Tenaga ahli (peran duta GenRe), (3) Pendanaan. Hasil penelitian ini sangat menarik menjadi bahan diskusi untuk melihat perkembangan pelaksanaan program GenRe sebagai solusi pemerintah dalam membantu permasalahan yang dialami remaja.

The success of a nation in the future will be largely determined by the quality of adolescents in the present. Therefore, adolescent's personal life must be prepared as early as possible in order to achieve optimal quality. The main program that support the achievement of youth quality is the Generasi Berencana (GenRe) program. This research aims to analyze the description of GenRe program implementation in Indonesia and in East Java Province based on the 2017 Survey of performance indicators on Population Program, Family Planning and Family Development. This study focuses on increasing age of first marriage, adolescent resproductive health, family development program for adolescent andCounseling Information Centers for Youth. Study found that GenRe program which covers three indicators in both Indonesia and East Java is still unoptimally implemented. In order to maximize the implementation of GenRe, this study suggest to increase the knowledge and exposure of information regarding three indicators of the GenRe Program for adolescents, families who have teenage family members and communities in the territory of Indonesia, especially in East Java Province.

Background: Future planning for teenagers is an important thing that needs to be prepared to the fullest extend. Generally, teenagers have not considered that it is not a necessary to think about that when they are still in education. Although everyone has different talents and interests, still, there are many teenagers who recklessly follow their peers and make a wrong decision in taking their field of study. The Government of Indonesia through the generation plan (GenRe) program attempts to direct teenagers regarding their future. The purpose of this study is to describe the preference of teenagers in generation plan (GenRe) program in terms of characteristics of teenagers and their access to information in Padang city. The results of this study can become an input in the implementation of the programs for teenagers.Methods: Analytical with cross-sectional approach was used as the research design. 249 respondents were 13-24 year-old teenagers who were taken with accidental sampling. Data were collected with questionnaires which contained demographic data questions (age, gender, education) and access to information about Generation Plan (GenRe) program. And the data analysis used Chi-Squre statistic.Results: There was a significant correlation between the characteristics of teenagers: age (p = 0.018) gender (p = 0.037) and education (p = 0,020) on youth preference in choosing generation plan (GenRe) program, while there was no connection to information access to the program, there were: the existing source of information (p = 0.077), the desire to find information with p value = 0.097 and information obtained with the value p = 0.075).Conclusions: Therefore, we expect that the socialization of generation plan (GenRe) program needs to be improved and socialized more through social media for further development.

Investigating the importance of music creation in high school’s aesthetic program).Syfte med denna studie är att undersöka vilken betydelse musicerandet har i elevernas musikaliska utveckling. Studien omfattar musikundervisning i gymnasieskolan. Jag har använt mig av kvantitativ metod i min studie. Den kvantitativa metoden var i form av enkätundersökningen. Resultatet visar att musicerandet har en stor betydelse för musikstuderande och rock- och popmusik har en hög status i undervisningen. Majoriteten av alla studerande anser att det är viktigt att man ska satsa mer på musicerandet än på teori på lektionerna. Det framgick även av enkätstudien att det är mycket viktig med genrebredd i musikundervisningen. Många musikstuderande i studien anser att rock och popmusikgenrer har en stor betydelse i musikundervisningen. En viktig aspekt är att läraren ska engagera sig i elevernas musikaliska utveckling. Abstract Title: Rock and popmusic in education. A study on the importance of rock and popmusic playing in music education. The aim of this study is to find out what music students think about playing in music lesson and their reflections on the importance of genre in music education. The study covers music education in high school. I have used both of quanititative and qualititative methods in my study. The quantitative method vas in the form of queststionnaires and qualitative method in the form of my observations above all in the form of definitions, conceptions and theoretical constructions. The result shows that play the instuments is very important for students and rock and popmusic have a high status in music education. The majority of students prefer more to play the instruments than their have theory in the lesson. The most of music students in high school believ that rock and popmusic is very important things in music education. One importans aspect is that teacher’s commitment to the students musical development. Keywords: genre, ensemble, music education, play the instruments.

This project focuses on the way that new graduate teaching assistants (GTAs) in English develop both their professional identity as teachers and their view of Composition as a field. Drawing on social theories of disciplines (Prior, 1998; Hyland, 2004; Carter, 2007), disciplinary enculturation (Hasrati, 2005; Bazerman and Prior, 2005; Thaiss and Zawacki, 2006), and legitimate peripheral participation (Lave and Wenger, 1991; Wenger 1998), this dissertation examines the transition that composition GTAs undergo during their first year of graduate school. Many of these GTAs move from little or no knowledge of Composition as a discipline to teaching their own writing courses. I focus on GTAs from MA and MFA programs at a large research university in their first year of teaching composition. Using multiple types of data, including in-depth interviews, observations of practicum and mentoring sessions, and teaching genres written by the GTAs, I construct a narrative that shows the role that teaching composition plays in the overall identity construction of graduate students as professionals. This wide data set has allowed me to see the various ways (and various genres) in which Composition is constructed in the lives of new GTAs. Teacher preparation programs offer a variety of assistance, including experience shadowing current teachers, practicum courses and individual or group mentoring. I study the ways these activities help GTAs in one first-year writing program move toward a fuller understanding of and participation in Composition, and how these experiences relate to the overall graduate student experience. Each of these experiences helps move GTAs toward participation as composition teachers. However, the degree to which these GTAs participate in Composition as a discipline has to do with their relationships with mentors and the connections they make between the multiple communities of practice that they must continually navigate.

In recent years, public schools and higher education institutions in Texas have placed a growing emphasis on mariachi music programs. The purpose of this study was to gather data regarding the status of mariachi programs and the pedagogical practices and activities of selected mariachi instructors in kindergarten through 12th grade (K12) schools in Texas. The researcher examined the pedagogical practices, content knowledge bases, and specific skill sets that selected mariachi instructors considered to be important determinants of effectiveness in teaching mariachi music. Descriptive data about the selected mariachi instructors' class activities was also collected. The sample used for this study comprised 14 selected mariachi music instructors. The sampling process included compiling a list of mariachi programs throughout the state of Texas, organizing the list according to the seven All-State Area alignments recognized by the Texas Music Educators Association, and selecting two instructors-one from a junior high school and one from a high school-in each All-State Area. The method for gathering information on pedagogical practices and class activities included tape-recorded interviews and on-site observations ofthe selected mariachi instructors. Data from both the interviews and the observation sessions were aggregated for further analysis and for the development of categories and themes, as appropriate. The study and its reported outcomes constitute a status of mariachi programs across Texas. Data gathered from selected mariachi instructors provided information regarding program content and program scheduling in K12 schools and an overview of the instructors' backgrounds and bases of knowledge of the mariachi genre. Further, specific skills and skill sets regarding performance practices of the mariachi ensemble are discussed. It is anticipated that this accumulation of pedagogical information will be used by music educators currently involved in the mariachi genre and by other music educators in the development of their programs.

This study seeks to determine the extent to which Jimmy Swaggart's program for defense in 1988 complies with the expectations of the apologia genre. Three discourse media are examined for evidence of denial, bolstering, differentiation, and transcendence. Swaggart's defense is classified as "justificative" in that it seeks approval of actions. Swaggart's motivating drive force is defined as the need to assure the financial success of his ministry. Swaggart's defense is then compared with the past apologies of Nixon, Truman, and Kennedy. It was determined that certain apologies cannot serve as a reference standard if the contextual factors are not similar. There are some rhetorical resources available to religious figures that are not available to politicians.

Анотація:
A clinically-focused music appreciation training program (MATP) was developed for use by recipients of cochlear implants (CI) and wearers of hearing aids (HA). It aimed to enhance listeners’ music appreciation abilities, with a specific focus on timbre and musical style. The MATP was pilot-tested on 17 adult postlingually deafened CI recipients (8 female, 9 male, mean age = 60.2 years) and 13 adult HA users (7 female, 4 male, mean age = 63.9 years), with each device group divided into a control and a training group. The training groups were asked to use the MATP for 30 minutes per day four times a week for 10 weeks. The control groups were asked to continue with their normal listening habits for the same time period. Both the training and control groups were assessed on tests of instrument, ensemble and style identification as well as pleasantness ratings of musical excerpts, before and after the 10-week period. Participants in the training groups also completed a program evaluation questionnaire at the end of the training period. The results showed that the training program significantly improved the quality ratings of CI recipients for ensemble stimuli (p = .034). There were, however, no significant improvements for CI users on the timbre discrimination tasks or quality ratings for single instruments, nor were there any significant improvements for the HA users on any of the discrimination tasks or in their quality ratings. The findings suggest that CI recipients’ quality appraisal can be improved through training, independent of perceptual accuracy. On evaluating the program, the majority of CI and HA trainees reported that the MATP was enjoyable and beneficial in terms of music appreciation. Future directions for continued development of the MATP and testing of its efficacy are discussed.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen har varit att analysera innehållet i Belinda Olssons tv-serie Fittstim – min kamp som sändes i SVT under början av år 2014. Uppsatsen har undersökt vilka relationer och identiteter programmet innehåller för att komma fram till vilken bild av feminismen det är som representeras. Uppsatsen består av en övergripande forskningsfråga: hur representeras feminismen i programmet? Samt underfrågorna: hur ser identiteter, relationer och representationer ut i programmet? Hur går serien tillväga för att svara på programmets huvudfråga ”är feminismen på rätt väg? För att besvara frågeställningarna har en del ur lingvisten Norman Faircloughs kritiska diskursanalys används. Den teoretiska ramen uppsatsen bygger på består av teorier kring programgenrer, representation, definition av begreppet feminism, ett postfeministiskt medieinnehåll samt teorier gällande makt och ideologi hämtade från bland annat Fairclough. Tidigare forskning berör medias konstruktion av feminism och representationen av kvinnor i media. Uppsatsens slutsats och diskussion kommer fram till att den feminism som representeras är den som förekommit i mediebruset – någonting som kan kopplas till Belinda Olsson själv som kallar sig ”media-feminist”. Även det postfeministiska perspektivet är centralt i uppsatsens slutdiskussion eftersom Belinda Olsson som feminist ifrågasätter feminismen i ett program som i sin tur anser sig kartlägga feminismen.   Framgår det vad som är subjektiva åsikter och vad som är allmängiltig fakta? Detta är frågor som funnits med under uppsatsens gång. Kärnan i undersökningen har därför varit att tolka hur feminismen representeras i ett dokumentärlikt samhällsprogram som vill kartlägga och ifrågasätta den svenska feminismen.

This article explores how a public service broadcasting company, namely ORF in Austria, has dealt with the challenges created by the dual system. An investigation of market requirements, public programming mandate, cost structure and financing needs reveals how economic and political constraints are interrelated. To illustrate this phenomenon, we focus on programming, specifically on the highly successful genre of popular folksy music ('Volkstümliche Musik'). Opinions of decision-makers responsible for programming strategies at the Austrian PSB company are linked with a detailed empirical analysis of one prosperous production within that genre. This enables us to draw a number of conclusions on the strategies pursued by public service broadcasting companies to master the changed market conditions and draw attention to so far unattended topics.

In murine and human brown adipose tissue (BAT), mitochondria are powerful generators of heat. Emerging evidence has suggested that the actions of mitochondria extend beyond this conventional biochemical role. In mouse BAT and cultured brown adipocytes, impaired mitochondrial respiratory capacity is accompanied by attenuated expression of Ucp1, a key thermogenic gene, implying a mitochondrial retrograde signaling. However, few have investigated this association in the context of mitochondria-nucleus communication. Using mice with adipose-specific ablation of LRPPRC, a regulator of respiratory capacity, we show that respiration-dependent retrograde signaling from mitochondria to nucleus contributes to transcriptional and metabolic reprogramming of BAT. Impaired respiratory capacity triggers down-regulation of thermogenic and oxidative genes, promoting a storage phenotype in BAT. This retrograde regulation functions by interfering with promoter-specific recruitment of PPARg. In addition, cytosolic calcium may mediate the retrograde signal from mitochondria to nucleus. These data are consistent with a model whereby BAT connects its respiratory capacity to thermogenic gene expression, which in turn contributes to determining its metabolic commitment. Additionally, we find that augmented respiratory capacity activates the thermogenic gene program in inguinal (subcutaneous) white adipose tissue (IWAT) from adipose-specific LRPPRC transgenic mice. When fed a high-fat diet at thermoneutrality, these mice exhibit metabolic improvements as shown by reduced fat mass and improved insulin sensitivity. Furthermore, there is increased recruitment of brown-like adipocytes in IWAT and thus energy expenditure is significantly increased, providing a potential explanation for protection from obesity. These data suggest that augmented respiratory capacity promotes ‘browning’ of IWAT, which has beneficial effects on obesity and diabetes.

Resumo : Esta dissertação aborda o programa regional ¿Terra da Gente¿, da EPTV (Emissoras Pioneiras de Televisão), para uma reflexão sobre a construção da chamada pesca esportiva como prática ecologicamente correta e integrada ao desenvolvimento sustentável. Para tanto, foram analisados programas televisivos entre os anos de 2005 e 2006, além da versão na Internet e da Revista ¿Terra da Gente¿, bem como consultadas diversas fontes (livros, jornais, revistas e sites). O trabalho apresenta um breve histórico do surgimento das emissoras de TV no Brasil, especialmente da ¿Rede Globo¿ e a sua programação regional, tangenciando a discussão sobre o global e o local
Abstract : This thesis approaches the regional program ¿Terra da Gente¿ of the EPTV (Emitting Pioneers of Television) for reflection on the conception of recreational fishing as an environmentally safe practice integrating it to a sustainable development. For in such a way, television shows between the years of 2005 and 2006 had been analyzed, further than the version in the Internet and of the ¿Terra da Gente¿ Magazine and consulted diverse sources (books, periodicals, magazines and sites).
