Повний текст джерелаStereoscopy has developed since 1838 through photography, movies, virtual reality andscientific visualization. Stereoscopic displays have increased in quality since the first stereoscope andstereoscopic content is now widely available. Furthermore, the understanding of 3D models is greatlyeased by stereoscopy, in particular for educational purposes or medical data visualization. The messageconveyed by an image is also further held by stereoscopy. Used in an artistic way, stereoscopy can bean important emotional vector.However, the depth interval of a stereoscopic image is limited by the displays technologies as well asthe human visual system. It is thus still difficult to create stereoscopic content ensuring a comfortableexperience to the viewer while using stereoscopy appropriately. To overcome this limitation, severalmethods have been developed, in particular to ease stereo image acquisition, but a great amount ofmanual work still remains. Moreover, stereoscopic content manipulation requires specific tools, whichare still to define. Finally, many stereoscopic display methods are available, with some more appropriateto specific viewing conditions than others.This thesis was conducted in this context, with the following contributions : the definition of a stereoscopicuser interaction model designed for a desktop environment, a new depth editing method ensuringthe viewer’s comfort and a new way to create single-image stereo using chromo-stereoscopy

Повний текст джерелаDespite speaking Arabic as their mother tongue, it is French that children mostly read, obviously because French is - for the majority of them - the medium of instruction. However, Lebanese publishers of French-speaking books offer a very narrow selection, hence the children’s turning to French novels whom they are not the first recipients. But how do these children receive such novels? It would be difficult for them to identify with these modernity-oriented-books that portray the social reality of a world that is not theirs. This threefold-thesis first provides insight into a number of specific cultural, linguistic and educational constituents of the Lebanese identity. And to better understand the relationship between children and reading, the first part presents the productions of French-speaking publishers of youth novels, along with public, private and other community facilities that organize “book encounters”.The second part studies the Lebanese children’s reception of the paratext and the incipit of a corpus of French novels written for the 8/11 year olds. This analysis explains the strategies of appeal favored by French publishers and authors.The third part describes the editorial production and specific writing style of Lebanese French-speaking fiction intended for the school market. The fictional approach of some social representations in French and Lebanese French-speaking books is then tackled, such as parenting, education, death and war in Lebanon- themed novels

In this thesis, we propose a method for perspective image editing with a single landscape image. Briefly, we use haze cues to recover the transmission and depth maps in order to move the target object and still keep the scene perspective projection and reasonable occlusion in the image.

Over the last decade, the special effects movie is the most popular in the film industry. These special effects need to use the image combination to combine the avatars and the background. In order to get a perfect combination image, it has two key point: the illumination and the pixel intensity of the object and the object’s size. According to the different location, the object size also need to adjust. So that, it need the depth of the picture to measure the size. In our research, first, we use the stereo vision and the feature points to calculate the depth of the background. Second, to adjust the illumination and the pixel intensity of the object. Third, use the bilinear interpolation and the depth information to adjust the size. Finally, using the Possion algorithm to make the object melt in background naturally. In our research, we can use the depth and background information to adjust the object, and use the Possion editor to construct a complete video editing.

Recently, stereoscopic 3D image editing has attracted a great deal of research interest in the computer graphics community. Different from conventional 2D image editing, it usually requires adjustment of the image content as well as the perceived depth. In this dissertation, we present a framework for structural stereoscopic 3D image editing. The framework utilizes the additional information in stereoscopic 3D image, depth structure, to manipulate the image content with respect to the user-specified editing goals. We first adapt the framework to achieve two editing operations: stereoscopic 3D image cloning and stereoscopic 3D image synthesis. The proposed stereoscopic image cloning technique performs both shape adjustment and color blending so that the stereoscopic composite is seamless in both the perceived depth and color appearance. Additionally, we introduce a versatile and robust stereoscopic image synthesis technique for synthesizing stereoscopic images with respect to editing constraints used in different editing applications (eg, image retargeting, image inpainting, texture synthesis). We demonstrate several challenging cases to show the success of our proposed techniques.
