Анотація:
This study optimized the installation of capacitors on the distribution grid system in Penyabangan feeder, Singaraja, Bali using the Quantum Genetic Algorithm method to reduce the impact of increasing reactive currents. This feeder, consisting of 162 buses in which 62 buses are directly connected to the load and 5 buses are connected to medium voltage cosumers. The results of this study are obtained by the capacity of capacitors installed in 31 buses that have a power factor value less than the permitted limit and the power loss values decrease from 0,0674 MW and 0,0546 MVAr to 0,0543 MW and 0,0442 MVAr.

This research discusses about the influences of product, price, and promotion as marketing strategies in increasing sales volume of UKM product at Pematangsiantar City. The aim of this research is to analyse the influences of product, price, and promotion both partially and simultaneously on product sales volume at the office. This is a quantitative research with random sampling technique. The sample is 74 cosumers. Results show that each independent variable; product, price, and promotion, partially influences product sales volume positively and significantly. product has tcount value 6,853 and level of significance 0.000, price has 3,522 and 0.001, and promotion has 4,238 and 0.000. Simultaneously, product, price, and promotion have significant and positive influences in increasing sales volume of UKM product at Pematangsiantar City with Fcount value 64,813 and level of significance 0.000.

PT Muda Kaya Mendunia is the holding company of Syntax Corporation which is engaged in educational services, scientific publications and information technology services which has been established since 2012. In digital business activities and digital service products offered by PT Muda Kaya Mendunia will have legal consequences against legal events between the company and consumers and consumer digital copyright protection when using the services of the company. The study aims to analyze the legal protection for cosumers in PT Muda Kaya Mendunia. The type of legal research that is carried out in a normative juridical manner is normative juridical where law is conceptualized as what is written in laws and regulations. Consumers in this case must be given a variety of special protections which are very vulnerable to various possibilities that will harm the consumers themselves from business actors who do not have good intentions in making buying and selling transactions online. Online transactions for both business actors and consumers must have good intentions from the start.

The article examines the contribution of John Maynard Keynes to the study of the psychological motives of economic behavior. The origins of the analysis of the psychological motives in economics before Keynes are reviewed. The relative importance of rational and irrational motives of economic behavior in the Keynesian theory is analyzed. It is shown that Keynes's analysis of the behavior of the economic agents under uncertainty and the lack of information contributed to the elaboration of the bounded rationality theory by Simon. The article also describes the input of Keynes to the formation of a new «Keynesian» model of human behavior, which implies the importance of expectations, taking into account the psychological and social factors of economic behavior. The main psychological tendencies in the actions of the consumers and investors described by Keynes (the basic psychological law, liquidity preference, the influence of the «market psychology» on the investor's decisions) and their relevance nowadays are examined. The article shows further development of the ideas of Keynes in the Akerlof and Shiller's theory of animal spirits and in the financial instability hypothesis of Minsky. It also gives a description of a confidence multiplier, introduced by Akerlof and Shiller, and shows how the cosumers' confidence can be measured nowadays. Besides, the article stresses that the study of the psychological motives of economic behavior, undertaken by Keynes, contributed to the development of such new disciplines at the interface between the economy and psychology as the economic psychology and behavioral economics.

The goal of this study is to outline how environmental communication methods helped KFC Medan reduce food waste. This study adopts a descriptive methodology and qualitative research techniques. On the basis of primary and secondary data, data sources are chosen. The key informant chosen for this study was HR KFC in the regions of North Sumatera and Aceh. According to the study's findings, 1) There are supporting and inhibiting factors in the environmental communication process at KFC Medan, but all of them can be properly overcome based on specific mechanisms from the leadership to KFC, and 2) There are communicators, environmental communication messages, environmental communication media, and communicants who play a role in the process. The environmental communication strategy that has been carried out by KFC Medan includes 4 components that play a role, namely communicators, environmental communication messages, environmental communication media, and communicants. In addition, there are several factors in it, namely supporting factors and inhibiting factors during the environmental communication process at KFC Medan. However, everything can be overcome properly based on certain mechanisms from the leadership to the employees at KFC Medan. However, KFC Medan does not mind if the food that has been ordered by cosumers or customers is not finished or still left. Because according to KFC Medan, it is the consumer's right to finish food or not to finish the food that has been ordered by the consumers. Advice for researchers to KFC Medan to also provide education related to food waste to consumers, so that environmental communication related to food waste is not limited to leaders and employees and every consumer can be involved in it. The researcher's suggestion for other researchers who will continue similar research is expected to contribute to conducting research in restaurants and make restaurants or food companies that initially only carry out environmental communication strategies related to food waste limited to leaders and employees, can be applied by restaurants or food companies to consumers as well.

Debate on Indonesia’s sugar polisy was stimulated by the sharp increase in the sugar retail price after the implementation of import regulatory policy regim based on the Trade and Industrial Ministry Decree No. 643/MPP/Kep/9/2002.23 September 2002 revised with the Trade and Industrial Ministry Decree No. 527/MPP/Kep/9/2004/and followed by Ministry of Trade Decree No. 19/M-DAG/PER/4/2006 tanggal 19 April 2006.UsIng the annual data for the period of 1998-2004,this study examines the “reasonable sugar retail price “in Indonesia using two approaches i.e (1) import parity and (2) production cost and distribution ; and based on those reasonable sugar retail prices, this study try to analize the efficiency of the “system tataniaga gula “in Indonesia.The results show that because of the government policy intervension, sugar retail price paid by the sugar cosumer in Indonesia is higher than if no government intervention ( free Trade). It is about 43.07 % and 3.43.% higher based on the first and second approach, respectively, moreover , due to the various, government policies related to tariff and import regulation, cosumer lost for about Rp. 3.8 – Rp 6.2 Trillion a year, but producer get benefit for about Rp.3.2 – Rp 5.2 Trilion ayear. Hence, The dead weight loss due to the”system tataniaga gula “is about Rp. 06- 10 trillion a year.

Globalmente, a quantidade de energia utilizada na agricultura tem vindo aumentar crucialmente com as novas tecnologias. E a Península Ibérica não é excepção a esta realidade. Desta forma, o trabalho que se segue consiste na realização de cartas de previsão de consumo energético em estufas nos Países da Península Ibérica, que visam a sustentabilidade energética anual das culturas do tomate, do pepino e da alface, utilizando o simulador climático de estufas (SCE). Os modelos climáticos são ferramentas eficazes que permitem prever as condições ambientais do interior das estufas, em função das condições ambientais externas, das características da cultura e das características da estrutura e do equipamento das estufas. Possibilitando também a análise das necessidades energéticas das culturas em condições predefinidas. O SCE usa os valores médios mensais da temperatura, da velocidade do vento, da radiação solar e da humidade relativa de uma série de anos, simulando as médias horárias de um dia médio para cada mês e local. Como input do SCE requer os dados climáticos, as características da estufa, os equipamentos de climatização e as características da cultura. Para o balanço energético é utilizado um modelo climático complexo estático com definição físico-matemático que se baseia na transferência de calor e de massa. Os resultados do SCE indicam as necessidades máximas mensais de aquecimento e de arrefecimento das diferentes zonas de produção durante um ano médio em estufas de plástico. Em que consideraram-se temperaturas de referências das culturas para os diferentes sistemas de climatização, variando 1 e 2 °C. Uma vez, cientes da importância da redução dos consumos energéticos e a melhoria da eficiência de utilização da energia, aspectos de elevada importância quer no que diz respeito à redução dos custos de produção, bem como dos impactos negativos no meio ambiente, este trabalho tem como intuito ajudar o agricultor na tomada de decisão dos recursos a utilizar para reduzir os gastos energéticos das culturas; ABSTRACT: Globally, the amount of energy used in agriculture has increased with the new technologies. And the Iberian Peninsula is not exception to this reality. This work presents the results of the study conducted for several regions in the Peninsula Iberian Countries concerning the energy consumptions in greenhouses for tomato, cucumber and lettuce crops, using the Greenhouse Climatic Simulator (GCS). The models climatic are an effective tool which allows the simulation of inside environmental conditions as function of external conditions, construction and environmental control equipment characteristics. They also permit to analyze the energy consumption necessary to obtain the predefined conditions. GCS uses mensal mean weather data of several years of solar radiation, temperature, wind speed and relative humidity. A climate generator computes the mean hourly climatic data of a typical day for each month and location. As inputs GCS requires data related with the greenhouse characteristics, environmental control equipment and the crop. For the energy balance a static complex model is used which is based on the physics of heat and mass transfer. The results show the energy consumption due to the heating system in each of the studied locations, as well the heat dissipated by the cooling system along a mean year, for year round production in plastic greenhouses. This is used to estimate energetic consumption indicators which allow generating predictive maps. It is an interesting tool which may contribute to the grower's decision making and to the reduction of energy consumption, helping to lower production costs and environmental impacts.

Com este trabalho de investigação, pretendeu‐se estudar o consumidor e o produtor de vinho do Alentejo, fazendo um estudo de mercado, a nível nacional, para o consumo, e um estudo a nível regional para a quase totalidade dos produtores. Com estes duos vertentes pretendeu‐se: o Analisar a região vitivinícola do Alentejo e as suas sub‐regiões, particularmente as perceções e preferências que os consumidores têm relativamente a tais sub‐regiões; Avaliar as atitudes e as escolhas dos consumidores relativamente ao vinho das sub‐regiões do Alentejo; Estabelecer uma relação entre perceções face ao consumo de vinho e as sub‐regiões; Classificar atributos por parte dos consumidores; Caracterizar e definir os principais pontos‐chave da evolução do vinho do Alentejo por parte dos produtores. A metodologia adotada para atingir os objetivos inclui dois estádios: um primeiro, onde o estudo exploratório com recurso a fontes secundárias de informação disponíveis foi a opção escolhida. Com este foi possível obter um conjunto mais vasto de informação e conhecimento relativo ao tema em estudo. No segundo estádio, realizado através do estudo descritivo, foram construídos os instrumentos de análise a aplicar, definida a forma de recolha da informação e aplicados os inquéritos aos consumidores e realizadas as entrevistas aos produtores. Os resultados obtidos mostram que os vinhos com denominações de origem são os mais conhecidos; onde a confiança e os níveis de qualidade do produto são a principal razão pelo qual se efetua a compra. Os consumidores da amostra revelam que existe um conhecimento das marcas de vinho do Alentejo direcionado apenas para um pequeno conjunto de marcos: tem muita falta de conhecimento relativamente aos designativos de qualidade, castas e metodologias de produção existentes. Por fim, tentou‐se ainda definir a linha evolutiva de marketing a nível dos produtores de vinho do Alentejo e exsudouse a convergência ou divergência por parte do consumo em relação à produção. /ABSTRACT ‐ Hit this investigation work, in the area of marketing, it was intended to study the consumer and the producer of wine of the Alentejo region by making a study of the market, at the national level for the consumption, and, at the regional level, studying almost all the producers. With these two directions of analysis it was meant: to analyze the viticulture and winemaking region of Alentejo and its sub‐regions, particularly the perceptions and preferences that the consumers have relatively to such sub‐regions; to relatively evaluate the attitudes and the choices of the consumers towards the wine of each subregion of Alentejo; o to establish a relation between perceptions of wine consumption and the sub‐regions; to classify attributes on the part of the consumers; to, on the part of the producers, characterize and define the main key‐points in the evolution of the winemaking of AIentejo. The methodology adopted to reach the objectives defined includes two phases a first one, where an exploratory study using the available secondary sources of information was the chosen option, where it was possible to get a vaster set of information and relative knowledge to the subject in study. In the second phase, performed through a descriptive study, the analysis instruments to apply were constructed, the form of retraction of the information was defined and the inquiries to the consumers were applied and carried through the interviews to the producers. The results obtained showed that the wines with origin certification are the most known; where the confidence and the levels of product quality are the main reason for the purchase. The consumers in the sample disclose that there is knowledge of the brands of Alentejo wine focused on a small set of the existing brands; the sample showed a lack of knowledge of the official quality designations, of the varieties and of the existing methodologies of production. I also tried to define the evolution of the marketing in the Alentejo producers and, finally his convergence or divergence on the part of the consumption in relation to the production was also studied.

Resumo: A relação do médico com o paciente é uma relação de consumo. E com base na proteção consumerista, todas às obrigações do fornecedor de serviço devem ser obedecidas sob pena de responsabilização. Apesar da discussão quanto às naturezas das obrigações conforme responsabilidade de meio e fim, ou de natureza objetiva e subjetiva; todas as atuações profissionais conforme a legislação - independente de curativa ou estética – incidem regras do direito do consumidor. A crescente judicialização e processos iniciados contra médicos demonstra o desconhecimento da legislação aplicável. Em confronto aparente de normas ente o Código de Defesa do Consumidor vigente, que se apresenta como incidente, e o Código de Ética Médica, afirmando categoricamente não se tratar de relação de consumo prevalece, para o direito, indiscutivelmente aquele. E os Tribunais Estaduais e o Superior Tribunal de Justiça pacificamente entendem desta forma. Juntamente com a relação de consumo, várias obrigações comumente não entendidas pelos profissionais da medicina como sendo obrigatórios, passam, portanto, trazer consequências. Elas têm sido alvo de declarações de indenização. Neste aspecto particular surgem situações para o fornecedor, profissional médico, como prestação de contas, prestação de orçamento, obrigação da informação completa e possibilidade de inversão do ônus da prova no processo. Abstract: The doctor's relationship with the patient is a relationship of consumption. And based on consumer protection, all obligations of the service provider must be obeyed under penalty of liability. In spite of the discussion about the nature of the obligations as responsibility of means and ends, or of objective and subjective nature; according to the legislation, all medical professional performances - regardless of curative or aesthetic - affect consumer rights rules. The increasing judicialization and proceedings against physicians demonstrates the lack of knowledge of the applicable legislation. In an apparent conflict of norms between the current Consumer Defense Code, which is presented as an incident, and the Code of Medical Ethics, categorically stating that it is not a relation of consumption, it indisputably prevails. And the State Courts and the Superior Court of Justice peacefully understand this way. Along with the relationship of consumption, several obligations commonly not understood by medical professionals as being mandatory, therefore, have consequences. They have been the subject of compensation claims. This thesis explores the effect of packaging material (matte vs glossy) on consumers’ purchase intention and willingness to pay for luxury product and how environmental concern influences this relationship. First, the results show that for consumers with higher environmental concern, matte (vs glossy) material of the packaging increases the purchase intention. Next, the sample failed to predict preferences of consumers characterized by low environmental concern. Also, this study shows that environmental concern does not influence the relationship between the packaging material and willingness to pay. At the end, managerial implications, identified limitations and possible future research are discussed.

In the end of 2007, Amazon Online Bookstorereleased the very first e- book reader; subsequently, the tablet PC and e-book readers gradually changed the way we seek infor-mation and absorb knowledge. By comparison, the domestic market of e-paper and e-book, though numerous corporations have put effort into the development and associated tech-niques, is in its infancy. Moreover, most domestic consumers are still uncertain about the capabilities and prospects of e-book in current stage. In this present study, we aim to inves-tigate the principal factors that affect the consumers’ willingness to use e-book. The methodology involved in the study is based on the theory of innovation adoption, including the fact proposed by Holak (1988) that product attributes, consumer characteris-tics and environmental variables affect the consumers’ willingness of adoption respectively. This research carried out a questionnaire survey; subjects consisted of office workers and students in Taichung area. Three hundred valid questionnaires were obtained and analyzed using descriptive statistics, regression analysis and data analysis. Based on the results, it is suggested that the environmental concerns of the consumers’ characteristics is the domi-nant factor affecting the consumers’ willingness; following affecting factors are relative advantage of new product attributes, product trial and peer relationship factors of environ-mental variables.

For normal body metabolism and maintenance of life, nutrients at appropriate quantities have to be ingested by animals as well as human beings. Proteins are one of the vital nutrients required by the individual body. Vegetable proteins are as good as animal proteins; however, a single plant does not serve every essential nutrient needed by the living body. Therefore, a variety of plants and vegetables has to be ingested to meet the requirements. Goat meat is a good source of animal protein, and it is widely consumed by people in developing countries ever since it has no religious taboo. However, goat meat consumption is a lot less in the western sides and most of the developed countries. The nutrients content in goat meat is undervalued, which needs to be emphasized to encourage its consumption. Spreading awareness in different parts of the world, that are less accustomed to goat meat, for health benefits along with improved trade policies for rationalized goat meat cost would substantially enhance the availability and preference of cosumers for goat meat. Furthermore, goat meat has the ability to capture growing organic meat industry. In current chapter, valuable properties of goat meat along with different factors affecting the demand of goat meat have been discussed.

<em>Abstract.</em>—We sampled larval fish in 1999 and 2001 on a restored floodplain along the lower Cosumnes River, California, from the onset of flooding to when the sites dried or when larval fish became rare. We collected more than 13,000 fish, of which prickly sculpin <em>Cottus asper </em>made up the majority (73%). Eleven species made up 99% of the catch. Three native fishes (prickly sculpin, Sacramento sucker <em>Catostomus occidentalis</em>, and splittail <em>Pogonichthys macrolepidotus</em>) and two alien species (common carp <em>Cyprinus carpio </em>and bigscale logperch <em>Percina macrolepida</em>) were associated with higher inundation and cool temperatures of early spring. In contrast, five alien taxa, sunfish <em>Lepomis </em>spp., largemouth bass <em>Micropterus salmoides</em>, crappie <em>Pomoxis </em>spp., golden shiner <em>Notemigonus crysoleucas</em>, and inland silverside <em>Menidia beryllina</em>, were associated with less inundation and warmer water temperatures. One native species, Sacramento blackfish <em>Orthodon microlepidotus</em>, was also associated with these conditions. Species did not show strong associations with habitat because of different spawning times of adults and expansion and contraction of flood waters. Most species could be found at all sites throughout flooded habitat, although river and floodplain spawning fishes usually dominated sites closest to levee breaches. Highest species richness was consistently found in two sloughs with permanent water because they both received drainage water from the floodplain and had a complement of resident species. Splittail, a floodplain spawner, was found primarily in association with submerged annual plants. Our results suggest that a natural hydrologic cycle in spring is important for providing flooding and cool temperatures important for many native larval fishes. Alien fishes are favored if low flows and higher temperatures prevail. Restoration of native fish populations that use floodplains for rearing should emphasize early (February–April) flooding followed by rapid draining to prevent alien fishes from becoming abundant.
