The article deals with basic concepts of cluster analysis and data clustering. The authors give brief information on the history of cluster analysis and its first applications. The article gives the classification of methods by the way of data processing and analysis in cluster analysis. The detailed description of the popular, non- hierarchical K-means algorithm is given. When developing databases, their structure should provide for the division of products into clusters based on various characteristics. It is necessary to consider the division into clusters based on other characteristics, such as allergenicity (whether the product contains an allergic component or not) or carbohydrate content (important for diabetics). The content of protein, potassium and phosphates should be taken into account when developing diets for those suffering from kidney diseases. The presence of specific amino acids - for metabolic diseases, etc. In this way, food composition data and product clustering across different categories allow nutritionists to create interchangeable lists of meals with portion sizes, or lists of permitted and prohibited food products in terms of various diseases. The authors give the clustering of the database fragment of chemical composition of food products on the example of cottage cheese products and confectionary by one of the signs – the content of carbohydrates – in the R software environment by k-means. Food clusters based on carbohydrate content are very important in shaping the diet for diabetics. A visual gradation of products into clusters is demonstrated in the form of a dendrogram showing the degree of proximity of individual clusters. The resulting dendrogram contains 5 clusters. Cluster 4 includes the largest number of products (170 items) with an average carbohydrate content of 1.8 g with a variation range from 0 to 7.1 g. Food products and dishes that fall into this cluster are the least dangerous for people with diabetes. Cluster 5 includes only 8 products with a distribution of carbohydrates within the cluster from 62.60 to 80.40 g. This category of food should be excluded when preparing a diet for people with diabetes.

The article discusses the features of blockmodeling as a class of methods for clustering network data in the analysis of social structures. Blockmodeling is considered as an approach to the analysis of social structure, which combines network components into groups (clusters) based on their equivalent structural positions. The basic concepts of blockmodeling are described – matrix, matrix image, cluster, clustering, position, block, blockmodel; an illustrating example is given. The concept of equivalence is presented, and two types of equivalence, structural and regular, are described. The main approaches of blockmodeling – indirect and direct – and related methods and algorithms are presented. For each approach, examples of the practical application in social sciences are provided. Other methods of blockmodeling (stochastic blockmodeling) and similar methods of subgroups detection in networks are mentioned. It is shown that the methodology of blockmodeling has heuristic potential for analyzing social structures and is promising for identifying cohesive groups and determining the role and structural positions of individuals within them. In conclusion, the open questions and limitations of this research methodology are discussed.

Based on the use of the activity approach in humanitarian Studies, the methodic foundations of the formation of the didactic concept-terminological syStem “socio-cultural activity” were formulated and subStantiated. The classification of the main concepts of the proposed terminological syStem was carried out, in particular, the basic and derived concepts were highlighted. Based on the terminological analysis of scientific sources, author’s definitions of main concepts such as: person, activity, behavior, society, space are proposed. Based on the principles of terminological work, basic concepts are expanded into derived concepts of the proposed didactic syStem, such as: human activity, social activity, cultural activity, sociocultural activity, sociocultural space, sociocultural sphere, sociocultural syStem, sociocultural complex, sociocultural cluSter, sociocultural induStry, etc. The author’s vision of Structuring spheres of socio-cultural activity based on the selection of their types and forms is proposed. The components of the socio-cultural space at different taxonomic levels from global to local, as well as at the level of cooperation of various taxonomic subjects are subStantiated. Basic and related spheres of socio-cultural activity are identified and Structured by species, and their subject components at the macro-, meso-, micro- and nano-levels of socio-cultural analysis are determined. We can State that the didactic concept-terminological syStem “socio-cultural activity” is based on the categories: person, activity, society, space and is described through the concretization of such general scientific concepts as: space – a syStem of relations and connections; sphere – a set (plurality) of constituent components diStinguished by various characteriStics; syStem – a combination of elements and their connections; a complex is a system with a high density of connections. In the future, the proposed syStem can be used for the preparation of educational and methodological publications, in particular, as the basic conception of the educational manual “Socio-cultural activity”, as well as for the formation of terminological and reference publications and the creation of electronic training courses on the MOODLE platform, in particular, the filling of their components such as “Keywords” and “Glossary”.

Purpose: of the study is to substantiate the relationship between cluster theory and ecosystem concepts on the basis of systematization of scientific research directions on the problem of economic clustering.Methods: the study is based on the theories of regional, spatial economics, innovative development, network and ecosystem economics, presented in the works of the Russian and foreign scientists. To solve the tasks set, general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, description, comparison, induction, historical, classification, etc.) and special methods (bibliometric and content analysis of literature, statistical) were used. In order to conduct bibliometric analysis, a standardized methodology for exploratory analytics was applied using the tools provided in modern computer data analysis packages.Results: on the basis of thematic selections from the Scopus database, the systematization of the most cited scientific publications on the problem of cluster development, published for the period 1997-2022 was carried out. A qualitative content analysis of the content of text arrays, followed by a meaningful interpretation of the identified patterns, made it possible to group the main directions of scientific thought in this area and identify promising areas for the further research. A conceptual scheme for the evolution of the formation and development of the cluster concept: the key theories and approaches that determined the trajectory of its development are identified.Conclusions and Relevance: the hypothesis that the ecosystem concept is an evolutionary development of cluster theory is confirmed. It is concluded that in the future the topic of innovative ecosystems is highly likely to move into the category of the basic ones devoted to cluster development. Despite the similarity (in the first approximation) of clusters and ecosystems, these approaches differ fundamentally in many criteria, primarily in terms of the proposed mechanisms for building interaction between participants, organization and regulation. In order to use the ecosystem approach in the practice of regional and industrial policy, its further conceptual, methodological and instrumental support is necessary.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the task of school adjustment in the first grade of elementary school during early entrance and to reveal the importance and performance of such perception. Methods: For this purpose, a semi-structured focus group interview was conducted with eleven first-grade homeroom teachers with significant field experience in elementary school. According to the process of the conceptual analysis, sixty-one conceptual statements were derived on school adjustment during early admission, and thirty-eight key statements were finalized after the agreement of the three researchers. The confirmed statements were conducted a classification method of similarity for twenty-six people. Following this, a multi-dimensional scaling method and hierarchical cluster analysis, and importance and performance evaluation were conducted in the stated orde. Results: Finally, a two-dimensional concept map including six clusters (adaptation in the environment vs. internal control, adaptation in the group vs. individual adaptation) was derived. The final clusters are specifically about acclimatizing to the environment and routine of an elementary school that is different from an early childhood education institution (cluster 1), overcoming anxiety and fear in unfamiliar situations and maintaining psychological stability (cluster 2), and cultivating basic learning abilities and basic lifestyle habits (cluster 3), concentrating attention and controlling impulsiveness(cluster 4), getting along well with friends and being considerate (cluster 5), and living safely by following school rules (cluster 6). Conclusion: This study is meaningful in that it empirically explored the core concept at a time when the importance of school adjustment during early admission of first graders in elementary school, who are experiencing ecological transfer from early childhood education to the elementary education, has garnered attention.

In the past two years, equestrian sports have become more and more popular with the public. Due to the comprehensive development of equestrian preparations for the 2020 Olympic Games in China, the equestrian sports industry presents an unprecedented favorable development environment in China. This article is aimed at studying the construction of an equestrian event information intelligent processing platform based on data fusion and data mining. This article introduces the relevant theoretical knowledge of data mining and data fusion, including the description of the concept of data mining, the common analysis methods and algorithms of data mining, the basic concepts of data fusion, and the functional structure of data fusion. It discusses various algorithms in cluster analysis and focuses on the analysis of distance measurement and similarity coefficient in cluster analysis. In the experimental part, in order to intelligently process and acquire information, an information intelligent processing platform is constructed based on data fusion and data mining technology. The experimental results of this paper show that the precision rate, recall rate, and F -score of the platform under closed test are much higher than those under open test, and the precision rate is increased by about 7.26%.

Abstract The objective of the study is to theoretically ground and develop methodological foundations for urban ecosystems cluster projection in the context of the ecological, systemic and cluster provisions of the sustainable development concept. The theoretical research was carried out using methods of analysis and synthesis of existing scientific development in the sphere of urban ecosystems territorial organization, including on the cluster approach basis. According to the study findings, the following results were obtained: - basic provisions of the cluster paradigm in the context of the network essence of the cluster are explored; - the essence of the cluster project is clarified from the position of network connections and agglomeration approach; - the ecosystem characteristics of the cluster for the purposes of urbanized ecosystems projection are explored; - elements of the ecosystems cluster projection concept, based on the cooperative mechanism, are proposed.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to explore the contents of the difficulties experienced by day care Teachers under the COVID-19 situation using the concept mapping and to verify how much they sympathize with the contents of the difficulties. Methods This study was conducted according to the concept mapping proposed by Kane and Trochim(2007). After interviewing 12 target day care teachers who met the study, 62 statements were finally decided, and a multidimensional scale method was conducted based on the group similarity matrix. Furthermore, dimensions and clusters were named through hierarchical cluster analysis. Results Among the final statements, everyone agreed that they experienced difficulties in carrying out government guidelines that differed from the field in the COVID-19 situation. Furthermore, Two dimensions were named as the dimension of ‘childcare activity-class operation management’ on the X (horizontal) axis and the dimension of ‘Nursery internal factor-Nursery external factor’ on the Y (vertical) axis. Next, 3 clusters were named as ‘cluster 1. teacher role performance’, ‘cluster 2. government guidelines performance’, and ‘cluster 3. stress from a lot of work’. Conclusions Through the results of this study, the contents of the difficulties experienced by day care teachers under the special situation of the COVID-19 pandemic were identified. Therefore, it can be used to establish basic data that can provide help for practical intervention in the situation of infectious diseases that may occur later.

One of the basic economic laws that reflect the patterns of economic phenomena is the law of competition. According to it, in a market economy, those business entities with certain competitive advantages operate and develop successfully. Within the competitive market, organizations are forced to increase their competitiveness, forming certain competitive advantages in the appropriate space-time conditions. Globalization and integration trends make more stringent and complex requirements for various enterprises, leading to increased competition in national and international markets. The multifactorial dependence of organizational competitiveness makes it possible to form new ways to increase the level of this indicator. Endogenous and exogenous factors, in turn, create functional links between different sectors of the economy. This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of the concept of "Organizational competitiveness" using numerous software tools to identify links between factors of organizational competitiveness, its source, and antecedents. The methods used in the study include initial keyword search, data analysis and refinement, and clustering. Harzing's Publish or Perish tool is used for initial investigation, BibExcel, VOSviewer, and MS Excel - for data analysis and refinement. The article uses data from the three most significant databases of scientific publications: Google Scholar, Web of Science, and Scopus. Searching and comparing information taken from several sources allows for a comprehensive analysis of the literature and understanding of the principles of bibliometric maps of publications. In the framework of this study, the authors formed and analyzed cluster groups of concepts, the principles of their grouping, developed scientific approaches to clustering key terms in several databases. The relevance of this study lies in its impact on the process of forming conceptual clusters. With the help of the proposed scientific approaches, it is possible to explain the dependencies in the cluster distribution of individual definitions, their relationship with each other, the degree of belonging to a particular factor of organizational competitiveness.

AbstractMagnetic resonance elastography (MRE) is an emerging imaging modality that maps the elastic properties of tissue such as the shear modulus. It allows for noninvasive assessment of stiffness, which is a surrogate for fibrosis. MRE has been shown to accurately distinguish absent or low stage fibrosis from high stage fibrosis, primarily in the liver. Like other elasticity imaging modalities, it follows the general steps of elastography: (1) apply a known cyclic mechanical vibration to the tissue; (2) measure the internal tissue displacements caused by the mechanical wave using magnetic resonance phase encoding method; and (3) infer the mechanical properties from the measured mechanical response (displacement), by generating a simplified displacement map. The generated map is called an elastogram.While the key interest of MRE has traditionally been in its application to liver, where in humans it is FDA approved and commercially available for clinical use to noninvasively assess degree of fibrosis, this is an area of active research and there are novel upcoming applications in brain, kidney, pancreas, spleen, heart, lungs, and so on. A detailed review of all the efforts is beyond the scope of this chapter, but a few specific examples are provided. Recent application of MRE for noninvasive evaluation of renal fibrosis has great potential for noninvasive assessment in patients with chronic kidney diseases. Development and applications of MRE in preclinical models is necessary primarily to validate the measurement against “gold-standard” invasive methods, to better understand physiology and pathophysiology, and to evaluate novel interventions. Application of MRE acquisitions in preclinical settings involves challenges in terms of available hardware, logistics, and data acquisition. This chapter will introduce the concepts of MRE and provide some illustrative applications.This publication is based upon work from the COST Action PARENCHIMA, a community-driven network funded by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) program of the European Union, which aims to improve the reproducibility and standardization of renal MRI biomarkers. This introduction chapter is complemented by another separate chapter describing the experimental protocol and data analysis.

AbstractKidney-associated pathologies would greatly benefit from noninvasive and robust methods that can objectively quantify changes in renal function. In the past years there has been a growing incentive to develop new applications for fluorine (19F) MRI in biomedical research to study functional changes during disease states. 19F MRI represents an instrumental tool for the quantification of exogenous 19F substances in vivo. One of the major benefits of 19F MRI is that fluorine in its organic form is absent in eukaryotic cells. Therefore, the introduction of exogenous 19F signals in vivo will yield background-free images, thus providing highly selective detection with absolute specificity in vivo. Here we introduce the concept of 19F MRI, describe existing challenges, especially those pertaining to signal sensitivity, and give an overview of preclinical applications to illustrate the utility and applicability of this technique for measuring renal function in animal models.This chapter is based upon work from the COST Action PARENCHIMA, a community-driven network funded by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) program of the European Union, which aims to improve the reproducibility and standardization of renal MRI biomarkers. This introduction chapter is complemented by two separate chapters describing the experimental procedure and data analysis.

China is one of the world’s largest manufacturers and consumers of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) applications. Current estimates show that China will need over 3 billion RFID tags to satisfy demand in the year 2009. The applications for RFID patents have spread across a very diverse range of inventions and in the future it is likely that most products manufactured in China will contain an RFID tag. China’s RFID industry has grown along with the demand and researchers are making significant technological advances. In this research, patent data from the State Intellectual Property Office of the People’s Republic of China (SIPO) have been used to explore RFID technology development and its trends. Patent abstracts containing the key word and phrase ‘RFID’ and ‘Radio Frequency Identification’ were collected for analysis, content extraction, and clustering. In total, 1,389 patents from the SIPO database covering the years 1995 to 2008 were retrieved and archived for analysis. Patents provide exclusive rights and legal protection for inventors, play an important role in the development and fair diffusion of technology, and contain detailed specifications necessary to define and protect the boundaries of an invention. Through patent analysis, companies monitor the development of technology and evaluate the position of potential competitors in the market. This research applies patent content analysis to map and interpret the current trends of RFID technology development in China. A patent content clustering method is used to cluster different patent documents into homogenous groups, and then technology forecasting is applied to evaluate possible market opportunities for future inventors and investors. The results suggest that the cluster called RFID wireless communication devices has entered the saturation stage and thus provides limited opportunity for development. Four other clusters; RFID concepts and applications, RFID architecture, RFID tracking implementation, and RFID transmission apparatus, have entered the mature stage. The RFID frequency and waves cluster appears to be in early growth stage with good development potential. Since the technology related to basic RFID concepts and devices has reached a mature stage in China, the research and development seems to be targeting the improvement of the RFID frequencies and waves as a means to develop more reliable RFID systems and applications.

The concept of regional development is of increasing importance in modern geographical research since development differences are observed at different levels of administration. In Serbia, a highly centralized country, development opportunities have led to the drastic disparities at the national, intraregional and interregional levels. One of the basic objectives of regional development is the reduction of intraregional disparities, i.e. differences in the level of development of local self-government units (LSGUs) of a region. Hence, the paper focuses on determining the development level of Cities and municipalities in the region of Vojvodina. For this research, seven demographic and socio-economic indicators, generated from the publications of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia (SORS), were included in the consideration. Non-hierarchical k-means cluster analysis, one of the most widely used statistical methods, was used as the basic method. In order to obtain more precise results, the used indicators were standardized using the Euclidean distance measure. All 45 LSGUs in Vojvodina region were divided into three clusters. The differentiation based on standardized indicator values was carried out and made into the most developed, medium developed and least developed LSGUs. The analysis covered the years 2011 and 2022, so a comparative method was applied to examine the change in the level of development of the selected territory. The results of the cluster analysis show that the territory of Vojvodina is characterized by the heterogeneous development of LSGUs during both selected years. However, the largest number of LSGUs belongs to the least developed cluster, which implies that balanced intraregional development of Vojvodina has not yet been achieved. It is important to emphasize that in the period 2011–2022, according to the selected indicators, there was a significant progress in four Cities: Vršac, Zrenjanin, Sremska Mitrovica and Subotica. The aforementioned four Cities, including also Novi Sad and Pančevo, which were belonged to the most developed cluster in 2011, represent Vojvodina's poles of development. Such data are not in accordance with the main principles of equal regional development. The paper represents another drawing of the public's attention to unequal intraregional development and a contribution to the understanding of the given problem.

In times of crisis there is a need to incorporate management mechanisms that allow strategic use of the region’s ecosystem and entrepreneurship potential. Today many entrepreneurship agents carry out business processes chaotically, traditionally managing their resources without considering the innovational components of the ecosystem. There is a need for a strategy created on the basis of achievements and development of scientific theories, which will align the spontaneous chaotic nature of the entrepreneurial cluster and strengthen its vector impulse in increasing the activity of the economy of the territory. The aim of the study is to create a modern strategy for the development of small and medium business on the basis of the study and development of scientific theories and ideas, to create the strategy to study the state and trends of entrepreneurial activity of the region and its ecological environment. Methods: management theory, strategic management theory, systems analysis, methodologies of SMB growth poles strategy in regional systems, development of regional ecosystems, conceptual approaches to entrepreneurship development strategy, concepts, and models of entrepreneurship ecosystem theory. Results and novelty: The strategy of small and medium business in the region proposed in the work is based on the study of theories, methods and analysis of the role and performance trends of small and medium business (SMB), which determined its priority as a propulsive cluster of the regional economic system. The application of platform strategy for SMB development allows increasing the propulsiveness of the SMB cluster in the ecosystem of the region.

The recent development of electric and electronic devices has been remarkable. The miniaturization of electronic devices and high integration are progressing by advances in mounting technology. As a result, the reliability of fatigue life has been prioritized as an important concern, since the thermal expansion difference between a package and printed circuit board causes thermal fatigue. It is demanded a long-life product which has short development time. However, it is difficult because of the interaction between each design factor. The authors have investigated the influence of design factors on the reliability of soldered joints in BGA model by using response surface method and cluster analysis. By using these methods, the interaction of all design factors was clarified. Based upon these analytical results, design engineers can rate each factor’s effect on reliability and assess the reliability of their basic design plan at the concept design stage.

Необходимость внедрения природоподобных технологий в психотерапии и психологическом консультировании находит все больше сторонников. Появилось зонтичное понятие – «экотерапия» для всех форм включения природы или каких-либо природных элементов в работу специалиста. В исследовании С. К. Нартовой-Бочавер (2020) показана взаимосвязь позитивного самоотношения и любви к растениям. М. В. Рагулина (2010) распределила экотерапию к индивидуальному квадранту «Я», в этом контексте понимая под природной средой продолжение личности человека, в ней находящегося. В методе позитивной динамической психотерапии личность понимается как система отношений по В. Н. Мясищеву. Все многообразие отношений распределяется на три кластера – отношение к себе, отношение к значимому другому и отношение к миру в целом. В методе разработано более 50 авторских методик, направленных на реституцию, реконструкцию и гармонизацию всех кластеров отношений личности. Одной из этих методик является позитивная экотерапия В. Ю. Слабинского, А. А. Преображенской, Н. М. Воищевой. В 2022 году А. А. Преображенская провела тренинг по позитивной экотерапии в группе из 14 женщин. Средний возраст 41,57±7,51 года. Тренинг состоял из 4 встреч с эпизодичностью один раз в неделю. В дизайне психотерапии использовалась модель «Идентификации», позволяющая описать и исследовать кластер самоотношения. В начале и в конце цикла участники проходили тестирование в методе Позитивной динамической психотерапии.Методики. 1. The Hospital Anxiety and Depression scale (HADS) – Госпитальная шкала тревоги и депрессии (Zigmond A. S., Snaith R. P., 1983). 2. Опросник «БАК-конфликт» В. Ю. Слабинского – позволяет исследовать три кластера системы отношений по В. Н. Мясищеву. 3. Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory (ZTPI) – изучение системы отношений личности к временному континууму (Зимбардо, Бойд, 2010). Вся выборка была поделена на 2 группы по показателю «Я-женское» теста «БАК-конфликт». Группа 1 (6 человек) – женщины с базовым конфликтом и показателями по шкале «Я-женское» от 3 до 5 баллов (отвержение женского), группа 2 (8 человек) – женщины с показателями по шкале «Я-женское» от 6 баллов (норма). Проведенный анализ по критерию МаннаУитни показал, что эти группы помимо различий по шкале «Я-женское» (р=0,002), характеризуются достоверным отличием следующих показателей: чистоплотность (р=0,021), искренность (р=0,048), общительность (р=0,030), вера/мировоззрение (р=0,003). То есть низкая женская самооценка влияет на характер и проявляется в снижении чистоплотности, искренности, общительности и устойчивости мировоззрения. Для выявления значимых изменений применялся критерий Уилкоксона (р≤0,05). Анализ динамики Группы 1 показал достоверное улучшение показателя в сторону укрепления женской самооценки (Z=-2,060, р=0,039), что позволяет сделать вывод о том, что методика «Позитивная экотерапия» в описанном выше варианте, может применяться для работы с низкой самооценкой, улучшения отношения к себе и терапии базового конфликта в сфере «Я-женское». Так же в Группе 1 выявляются достоверное снижение показателя по шкале «Духовность», что можно проинтерпретировать как перераспределение жизненной энергии по другим сферам. В процессе прохождения методики женщины были сосредоточены на выполнении заданий (сфера «Результативность»), их мысли были заняты конкретными вопросами и размышлениями о себе и о близких (сфера «Социальность»), при этом женщины гуляли, дышали свежим воздухом, слушали птиц и другие звуки природы (сфера «Индивидуальность / Телесность»). Одна из гипотез – некоторые их мечты наполнились конкретными символическими смыслами природных образов и таким образом стали более осязаемыми и реальными. Вероятно, по тем же самым причинам в Группе 2 у женщин с нормальной самооценкой после тренинга наблюдалось значимое снижение показателей тревожности, значимое усиление перспективы будущего и увеличение аккуратности. The necessity of nature-based psychotherapy techniques integration into psychological consulting finds more and more proponents. An umbrella concept – "ecotherapy" – has appeared for all forms of inclusion of nature or any natural elements in the work of the specialist. In S. K. Nartova-Bochaver's (2020) study, the interrelation of positive self-attitude and fondness for plants was shown. М. V. Ragulina (2010) distributed ecotherapy to the individual quadrant of the "Me", in this context understanding the natural environment as an extension of the personality of the person who is in it. In the method of positive dynamic psychotherapy personality is understood as a system of relations according to V.N. Myasishchev. The entire variety of attitudes is divided into three clusters - attitude to oneself, attitude toward the significant other and attitude toward the world as a whole. The method has developed more than 50 author's techniques aimed at restitution, reconstruction and harmonization of all clusters of personality relations. One of these techniques is positive ecotherapy by V. Y. Slabinsky, A. A. Preobrazhenskaya and N. M. Voishcheva. In 2022, A.A. Preobrazhenskaya conducted positive ecotherapy training in a group of 14 women. The average age was 41.57±7.51 years. The training consisted of 4 meetings with episodic frequency once a week. The psychotherapy design used the Identity Model to describe and explore the self-concept cluster. At the beginning and at the end of the cycle, participants were tested in the Positive Dynamic Psychotherapy method. Methods. 1. The Hospital Anxiety and Depression scale (HADS) (Zigmond A. S., Snaith R. P., 1983). 2.The BAC-conflict questionnaire by V. Y. Slabinsky – allows to investigate three clusters of the system of relationships according to V. N. Myasishchev. 3. Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory (ZTPI) – examines the system of personality relations to the time continuum (Zimbardo, Boyd, 2010). The entire sample was divided into 2 groups according to the " I-Feminine" indicator of the BAC-Conflict test. Group 1 (6 people) were women with a basic conflict and scores from 3 to 5 on the self-feminine scale (feminine rejection), Group 2 (8 people) were women with scores from 6 on the "I-Feminine" scale (normal). Mann-Whitney test analysis showed that these groups, in addition to differences on the "I-Feminine" scale (p=0.002), are characterized by a significant difference in the following indicators: cleanliness (p=0.021), sincerity (p=0.048), sociability (p=0.030), faith/worldview (p=0.003). That is, low female self-esteem affects character and manifests itself in a decrease in cleanliness, sincerity, sociability, and stability of worldview. Wilcoxon criterion (p≤0.05) was used to identify significant changes. Analysis of Group 1 dynamics showed a significant improvement in the direction of strengthening female self-esteem (Z=-2,060, p=0,039) which allows to conclude that the Positive Ecotherapy method in the variant described above, can be used to work with low self-esteem, improve self-concept and therapy of the basic conflict in the " I-Feminine". Also in Group 1, a significant decrease in the "Spirituality" scale was detected, which can be interpreted as a redistribution of life energy to other spheres. In the course of the methodology, the women were focused on completing tasks (the "Performance" sphere), their thoughts were occupied with specific questions and thoughts about themselves and their loved ones (the "Sociality" sphere), and the women were out walking, breathing fresh air, listening to birds and other sounds of nature (the "Individuality/Body" sphere). One hypothesis is that some of their dreams were filled with concrete symbolic meanings of natural images and thus became more tangible and real. Probably for the same reasons, in Group 2, women with normal self-esteem showed a significant decrease in anxiety scores, a significant increase in future perspective, and an increase in neatness after the training.

Data sets composed of a mixture of categorical and numerical attributes (also called mixed data hereinafter) are common in real-world cluster analysis. However, insightful analysis of such data under an unsupervised scenario using clustering is extremely challenging because the information provided by the two different types of attributes is heterogeneous, being at different concept hierarchies. That is, the values of a categorical attribute represent a set of different concepts (e.g., professor, lawyer, and doctor of the attribute "occupation"), while the values of a numerical attribute describe the tendencies toward two different concepts (e.g., low and high of the attribute "income"). To appropriately use such heterogeneous information in clustering, this paper therefore proposes a novel attribute representation learning method called Het2Hom, which first converts the heterogeneous attributes into a homogeneous form, and then learns attribute representations and data partitions on such a homogeneous basis. Het2Hom features low time complexity and intuitive interpretability. Extensive experiments show that Het2Hom outperforms the state-of-the-art counterparts.

The modern agricultural sector is characterized by highly dynamic economic processes caused by the active development of information and communication technologies and increased competition. To ensure economic development and competitiveness of agro-industrial production in the digital economy, scientifically-based results are needed that illustrate the advantages of such structures and stimulate agro-industrial farms for digital transformation. The goal is to develop a concept for the formation of a model for managing the digital transformation of an agro-industrial cluster, reflecting a set of design solutions, technical means, methods of organization and management that ensure a given level of production, safe and reliable delivery of all necessary resources and finished products at the right time, the required quality and quantity with minimal costs. costs. The solution to this issue is based on the use of economic and mathematical modeling tools. The work also used research methods such as generalization and synthesis, system analysis, modeling, abstraction and optimization methods. Business processes characteristic of one of the branches of agro-industrial production - crop production - are identified, which serves as the basis for the digital transformation of organizational processes in the structural divisions of the cluster being formed. The implementation of the proposed concept serves as the basis for making informed management decisions regarding the structure of the cluster being formed and the feasibility of its digital transformation.

Meyer and Land (2002) have introduced the notion of a threshold concept in student learning. By definition a threshold is an insight which is initially alien or counter-intuitive, is integrative in that it subsumes some previous knowledge and is transformative in that it leads to a different perspective of or within the discipline. The notion is suggested to be applicable in many disciplines. It is phrased in terms that the threshold nature of a concept is defined mainly by the student experience rather than simply an objective analytical process. Nonetheless past experience may lead teachers of statistics at tertiary level to surmise that threshold concepts in basic statistics will include the notion of patterns of spread or variation, randomness, sampling, the central limit theorem, and linear regression. Introductions to Bayes' theorem and interval estimation are further candidates. Hypothesis testing may present other difficulties. Some methods and results in an exploration of student perspectives will be presented. A class of over 465 students in their second semester course of undergraduate applied statistics (STA220) participated in a survey with a short list of 4 items via internet and PC lab access to a WebCT site supporting their current course. The 4 items addressed their experience in the earlier course (STA100), and were as follows: Explain in your own words the term random sample. The central limit theorem tells us something about the mean of a sample. State in your own words what the theorem implies. List three concepts you found very simple to learn about in STA100. List the three most difficult concepts that you learnt about in STA100. The motive for the exploration is the open question of whether or not two key concepts were clearly and articulately reported by the respondents, and whether there is initial supportive evidence for any particular concepts being experienced as threshold concepts by these students. As teaching effort aimed at plausible threshold concepts may lead to more successful student participation and learning, the diagnostic value of an internet resource that assists in collection of data may be substantial. Text editors may assist in the analysis of typed responses. Internet connections will allow for the quicker transfer of data and for rapid interchange of improved public domain material addressing concepts that appear to have threshold qualities

Cluster development programs (CDPs) have been adopted widely in many countries worldwide. Many such programs aim to promote economic development by forming and strengthening inter-organizational networks. Despite their widespread diffusion, we know very little about CDP outputs or the impact CDPs have on host regions and their populations. Evaluation studies are beginning to appear, but the overall concern is that a distinct evaluation concept and method with a focus on CDPs is not yet available. The objective of this paper is to address this limitation, by proposing a novel methodological approach in the evaluation of CDPs based on the application of concepts and methods of social network analysis (SNA).

The article examines the main features, general characteristics and essence of the concept of solutions journalism. The basic principles of functioning of this model of journalism in the western press and in Ukraine are given. The list and features of activity of the organizations, institutes and editorial offices supporting development of journalism of solutions journalism. The purpose of the publication is to describe the Solutions Journalism model: its features, characteristics and features of functioning, to find out the difference in the understanding of the concept of «solutions journalism» and «constructive journalism» in general. The task of the publication was to conceptualize the main trends in the development of solutions journalism in the Western and Ukrainian information space; show the main characteristics, formats of functioning and analyze the features of the concepts of «solutions journalism» and «constructive journalism». Applied research methods: at the stage of research of the history of formation of the concept of Solutions Journalism the historical method is used. The hermeneutic method of research helped in the interpretation of basic concepts, the phenomenological approach was applied in the context of considering the essence of the phenomenon of solutions journalism. At the stage of generalization of the features of the concepts of Solutions Journalism and «constructive journalism» a comparative method was used, which gave an understanding of the common components in their essence. The method of analysis allowed to expand the understanding of the purpose of Solutions Journalism as a type of social journalism and its main tasks. With the help of synthesis it was possible to comprehensively understand the concept of Solutions Journalism and understand its features. In Ukraine, this type of journalism is just emerging, but its introduction into the editorial policy of the media may have a national importance. These are regional and local media that can inform their communities about the positive solution of certain problems in other communities, and thus thanks to this model can save local journalism. In the scientific context, there is a need to outline the main differences in the understanding of the concepts of decision journalism and constructive journalism, to understand the socio-psychological need to create good news.

Анотація:
Designing a mobile-oriented environment for professional and practical training requires determining the stable (fundamental) and mobile (technological) components of its content and determining the appropriate model for specialist training. In order to determine the ratio of fundamental and technological in the content of software engineers’ training, a retrospective analysis of the first model of training software engineers developed in the early 1970s was carried out and its compliance with the current state of software engineering development as a field of knowledge and a new the standard of higher education in Ukraine, specialty 121 “Software Engineering”. It is determined that the consistency and scalability inherent in the historically first training program are largely consistent with the ideas of evolutionary software design. An analysis of its content also provided an opportunity to identify the links between the training for software engineers and training for computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, information systems and technologies. It has been established that the fundamental core of software engineers’ training should ensure that students achieve such leading learning outcomes: to know and put into practice the fundamental concepts, paradigms and basic principles of the functioning of language, instrumental and computational tools for software engineering; know and apply the appropriate mathematical concepts, domain methods, system and object-oriented analysis and mathematical modeling for software development; put into practice the software tools for domain analysis, design, testing, visualization, measurement and documentation of software. It is shown that the formation of the relevant competencies of future software engineers must be carried out in the training of all disciplines of professional and practical training.

As pipelines continue to age they may be affected by time-dependent degradation such as continuing metal loss resulting from corrosion and other factors affecting the integrity of the pipeline. Pipeline operators need to perform timely inspections, repairs or pipe replacements to prevent leaks or ruptures. An effective means for the pipeline operator to carry out such remedial actions within the limits of the finite resources available is to perform a risk assessment. Basically, this entails scientifically prioritizing inspection, repair, or replacement of the various parts of the pipeline system in a manner that achieves an acceptable level of safety while effectively allocating the available resources. Because there is no single "right" way to conduct risk assessment, the industry needs guidance regarding the methods and information required to conduct one. Battelle specialists conducted a comprehensive research project described in a final report along with a basic risk assessment software application. The project involved the following: Review of Risk Assessment Methods Identification of Risk Parameters and Assessment of Their Significance Identification of the Factors Affecting the consequences of Accidents and Their Impact Development of a Risk Assessment Algorithm Sample Calculations and Testing Critical Assessment of Risk Analysis as a Means of Utilizing Pipeline Monitoring Tools and Rehabilitation Techniques The work included a review of 14 references describing various approaches to examining the risk of failure in pipelines followed by a summary of methods. An Analysis of a results questionnaire sent to all PRCI member companies is included and a discussion of the statistical concepts that may be of value in conducting a risk assessment. A final algorithm and sensitivity of the key parameters is examined and examples of use of the algorithm are given.
