Повний текст джерелаIn this thesis, XQ is intensively investigated. It is encoded by System F, a second-order lambda calculus with a considerable expressive power and a strong normalization property. Since XML data is defined as inductive data types, XML tree and XML forest, in System F, all basic XML operators in XQ have been successfully encoded. Also, the semantics of XQ are represented in System F where XQ's semantics environment is encoded by an Environment data type with the corresponding operators. The successful encoding of XQ by System F ensures the termination of XQ query evaluation.
Moreover, an extension of XQ by a new tree operator Xtree and a vertical Vfor clause is proposed in this thesis to express some undefinable XQ queries. It is demonstrated that this extension still allows XQ to retain its XQ-to-SQL translation property that ensures the polynomial evaluation time complexity, and its System F encodable property that ensures the termination of query evaluation.

Повний текст джерелаThis work proposes an environment for programming programmable logic controllers applied to oil wells with BCP type method of artificially lifting. The environment will have an editor based in the diagram of sequential functions for programming of PLCs. This language was chosen due to the fact of being high-level and accepted by the international standard IEC 61131-3. The use of these control programs in real PLC will be possible with the use of an intermediate level of language based on XML specification PLCopen T6 XML. For the testing and validation of the control programs, an area should be available for viewing variables obtained through communication with a real PLC. Thus, the main contribution of this work is to develop a computational environment that allows: modeling, testing and validating the controls represented in SFC and applied in oil wells with BCP type method of artificially lifting
Este trabalho prop?e um ambiente computacional para programa??o de controladores l?gicos program?veis aplicados aos po?os de petr?leo com m?todo de eleva??o artificial do tipo BCP. O ambiente ter? um editor para programa??o de PLCs baseado principalmente no diagrama de fun??es sequenciais (SFC). Esta linguagem foi escolhida por ser considerada de alto n?vel e por ser aceita pelo padr?o internacional IEC 61131-3. O uso destes programas de controle em PLCs reais ser? poss?vel com a utiliza??o de uma linguagem de n?vel intermedi?rio baseada na especifica??o TC6 XML pela organiza??o PLCopen. Para os testes e a valida??o dos programas de controle, dever? ser disponibilizada uma ?rea para visualiza??o das vari?veis obtidas atrav?s da comunica??o com um PLC real. Повний текст джерелаCurrent and emerging Navy information concepts, including network-centric warfare and Navy Tactical Cloud, presume high network throughput and interoperability. The Extensible Markup Language (XML) addresses the latter requirement, but its verbosity is problematic for afloat networks. JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) is an alternative to XML common in web applications and some non-relational databases. Compact, binary encodings exist for both formats. Efficient XML Interchange (EXI) is a standardized, binary encoding of XML. Binary JSON (BSON) and Compact Binary Object Representation (CBOR) are JSON-compatible encodings. This work evaluates EXI compaction against both encodings, and extends evaluations of EXI for datasets up to 4 gigabytes. Generally, a configuration of EXI exists that produces a more compact encoding than BSON or CBOR. Tests show EXI compacts structured, non-multimedia data in Microsoft Office files better than the default format. The Navy needs to immediately consider EXI for use in web, sensor, and office document applications to improve throughput over constrained networks. To maximize EXI benefits, future work needs to evaluate EXI’s parameters, as well as tune XML schema documents, on a case-by-case basis prior to EXI deployment. A suite of test examples and an evaluation framework also need to be developed to support this process.

Qin is one of the oldest Chinese instrument. It’s score is very unique score. Its name is Jian-Tz-Pu. There exists major difference between Jian tz pu and western score. It is very difficult to use Jian-Tz-Pu to automatically analysis their content. In this paper, we focus on Mei-An-Qin-Pu for our research. First, we analysis the information in Mei-An-Qin-Pu. We summarized the previous researches on Han-Tz topological structure. We find out there are eight kinds of topological structure can use in Jian-Tz-Pu. We used XML format to encode the Qin score. The syntax we developed is called Qin XML. According to Mei-An-Qin-Pu, we created Jian-Tz-Pu characters in true type font. It can be used to create the Qin scores digital collection and to present the Jian-Tz-Pu in digital way.

Повний текст джерелаEste projeto, desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado em Mediação Cultural e Literária – Ramo Cinema e Literatura, tem como um de seus principais objetivos a inventariação e catalogação em formato digital do Espólio da escritora bracarense Maria Ondina Braga, doado pela família desta ao Museu Nogueira da Silva. O processo de inventariação e categorização do espólio da escritora tem como base as diretrizes da Iniciativa de Codificação Textual (Text Encoding Initiative ou TEI) e da metalinguagem de anotação eletrónica Extensible Markup Language (XML). No sentido de divulgar o património literário e biográfico da escritora, este projeto visa ainda a criação de uma página web e um arquivo digital do espólio composto por várias modalidades de pesquisa. A aplicação de suporte à criação de bibliotecas digitais denominada Greenstone Digital Library Software servirá de base à criação do Arquivo Digital do Espólio de Maria Ondina Braga.
The present project, developed in the scope of the Master’s degree in Cultural and Literary Mediation – Literature and Cinema, has inventorying and digital cataloguing of the literary and biographic heritage of Braga’s writer Maria Ondina Braga, donated by her family to the Nogueira da Silva Museum, as one of its major goals. The inventory and cataloguing procedures build on the Text Encoding Initiative Guidelines (TEI) and the Extensible Markup Language (XML). In order to make known the value of the literary and the biographic estate of Maria Ondina Braga, this project also aims to create a Website and a digital archive of the estate with several research modalities. The Greenstone Digital Library Software will be the support application used to create the Digital Archive of the Heritage of Maria Ondina Braga.

Os processos de transcrição e anotação digital das cartas basear-se-ão na metalinguagem de anotação eletrónica Extensible Markup Language (XML), seguindo as diretivas de anotação da Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) e as propostas do projeto Digital Archive of Letters in Flanders (DALF), referência incontornável no tratamento digital de documentos epistolográficos.
The present project has as its main goals the transcription of correspondence material belonging to the Archive of the Letters addressed to Camilo Castelo Branco into electronic form and the respective annotation of structural and text-specific features. These electronic versions are to be included in the future Digital Archive of the Letters of the 19th century Portuguese writer. This archive will be made available online for research purposes. The transcription and annotation processes will be based on the meta-markup language XML and the annotation guidelines provided by the Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) and the project Digital Archive of Letters in Flanders, considered an important source when it comes to describing and encoding correspondence material.
