Nanostructured tungsten oxide (WO 3 ) particles were prepared in aqueous solution by mimicking biomineralization. Precursor WO 3 · H 2 O particles were generated by ageing a 60°C (NH 4 ) 10 W 12 O 41 · 5H 2 O solution containing gelatin. This was followed by heating to 600°C in air for thermal conversion to WO 3 . The addition of gelatin led to the formation of layered structures consisting of WO 3 · H 2 O platy particles, which contained segmented, block-like nanoscale units. The macroscopic layered structure was preserved after thermal conversion to WO 3 , while the morphology of the block-like units changed to orthogonally crossed nanorods.

Porous tungsten oxide (WO3) nanofibers were synthesized by electrospinning aqueous solutions of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and ammonium metatungstate (AMT). The as-spun fibers and their annealing were studied by scanning electron microscope (SEM). SEM results showed that the WO3 fibers have a large amount of pores with diameters ranging from 50 nm to 100 nm, and pure monoclinic WO3 nanoscaled fibers formed between 500 and 600 °C. When a higher temperature (700 °C) was used, the tungsten oxide nanofibers totally disintegrated. When heated at 600 °C, the fibers broken into nanorods by the mechanical pressure. However, when the annealing treatment was low (500 °C), the fiber-like crystalline structure that can be seen. When the optimal temperature was used, the structure of the obtained WO3 nanofibers with novel morphology and crystallinity were captured.

We investigated the structure and photo-electrochemical properties for water splitting of tungsten trioxide-ferric oxide thin films formed by spray pyrolysis. While annealing at 600°C produces films consisting of a mixture of monoclinic WO 3 and hematite α- Fe 2 O 3, the heating at a temperature above 1000°C affords formation of ferric tungstate Fe 2 WO 6. Both kinds of films exhibit optical absorption range comparable or exceeding that of α- Fe 2 O 3. Another important feature is a decreased rate of charge recombination of the mixed-oxide Fe 2 O 3- WO 3 with respect to the ferric oxide photo-anodes.

Tungsten oxide thin films were prepared by an inorganic-sol-gel dip-coating process, where the sol was obtained by adding citric acid, as chelating agent, to the ammonia solution of tungstic acid. The resultant thin films were a mixture of monoclinic and tetragonal phases of WO3 and, after being pretreated at 600°C and sintered at 650°C, the average grain size of the polycrystalline films was about 500 nm. The gas-sensing properties of WO3 thin films were tested at temperatures ranging from 500° to 600°C and in nitrogen gas containing 5vol% O2 or 5vol% H2. The WO3 sensors exhibited a good sensitivity and response speed at the temperature of 550°C.

The main aim of this study was to investigate size-dependent effect on the photoelectrochemical properties of nanostructured tungsten trioxide (WO3) thin films synthesized via electrochemical method. Firstly, the nanostructured WO3 thin films of different crystalline sizes were synthesized on fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) glass working electrodes followed by controlled annealing treatment at temperature of 100-600°C. The resultant nanostructured WO3 thin films were further characterized using field emission-scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and photocurrent density measurements. Through FE-SEM analysis, it was found that the WO3 crystalline size increases with increasing annealing temperature that resulted in elevated photocurrent per unit area of the synthesized nanostructured WO3 thin films. Finally, it was observed that the highest photocurrent density of up to 35μA/cm2 was attained for WO3 crystallines size of 86nm that formed at the annealing temperature of 600°C.

One of the most remarkable peculiarities of the modern climate, undoubtedly, should be recognized as the climatic shift observed in the mid-70s of the last century. The reasons for this phenomenon for a long time, despite the activation of climatologists from all over the world, remained a mystery that requires its disclosure. First of all, this was due to the fact that the shift that took place turned out to be unexpected for scientists and was accompanied by rapid qualitative changes in the planetary climate. To date, thanks to the efforts of scientists using the results of rapidly developing numerical modeling, diagnostic calculations and observational data in large hydrophysical experiments in various regions of the World Ocean (WO), an understanding of the role of the ocean factor in the variability of the current climate has developed. It became clear that climatic shifts are an important feature of the internal dynamics of the climate system. The most obvious evidence of intrasystemic processes should be considered the discovered planetary structures in the atmosphere – Global Atmospheric Oscillation (GAO) and in the ocean – Multi-decadal Oscillation of the Heat content in the Ocean (MOHO), which are quasi-synchronous accompanying variations in the modern climate. GAO, its structure and features have been discussed in detail earlier in a number of studies. As for the MOHO, its structure and features are discussed in the proposed work. It is characteristic that the MOHO is located in the layer of the main thermocline (100-600 m). In a quasi-uniform layer (0–100 m), and in a deep layer (600-5500 m), the thermodynamic regime differs from the regime in the layer of the main thermocline. Probably, it is precisely this circumstance that did not allow earlier to draw attention to such an important detail in the structure of the WO thermodynamic variability. The presence of extreme multi-decadal temperature field disturbances at intermediate levels (200, 300, 400, 500, 600 m) should be noted as an important characteristic feature of the oscillation. Large-scale hydrophysical experiments (POLYGON-70, POLYMODE, etc.) made it possible to reveal the vortex structure in the dynamics of WO waters and to discover that the vortices of the open ocean have maxima of kinetic energy precisely in the layer of the main thermocline. This allows us to assume a connection between synoptic eddy activity and MOHO. However, the latter remains to be studied.

Lead zirconate titanate/tungsten oxide (PZT/WO3) ceramics were prepared from the powders synthesized by a modified triol sol-gel processing method. In this study, the starting materials used for synthesis of PZT-sol were zirconium (IV) propoxide, titanium (IV) isopropxide, lead (II) acetate trihydrate and 1,1,1,- tris (hydroxymethyl) ethane. To prepare PZT/xWO3 powders (where x = 0, 0.5, 1 and 3 wt%), nano-sized WO3 was ultrasonically dispersed and mixed with the PZT sol, dried and calcined at 600°C for 4 h. X-ray diffraction results indicated that fully crystallized powders were obtained. Phase characterization suggested that at high WO3 concentration, the reaction between PZT and WO3 occurred during the calcination process. To prepare PZT/xWO3 ceramics, the powders were pressed and sintered at 1100°C for 6 h. Phase characterization by XRD indicated that the content of WO3 significantly affected tetragonal-to-rhombohedral phase transition. Microstructure of thermally etched samples showed that increasing the content of WO3 decreased grain size of the ceramics.

Facile, economic methods of preparing tungsten (W) nanopowder are critically needed to meet industrial demand. Herein, we report a method of preparing single-phase alpha-W (α-W) nanopowders using ammonium paratungstate (APT) as a starting material and the optimum synthesis conditions. The process involves two stages: i) the radio-frequency (RF) induction thermal plasma treatment of APT, followed by ii) thermochemical reduction at 600-900 <sup>o</sup>C. The crystallographic phase and morphological evolution of all products were systematically investigated using X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and the effects of the annealing temperature on the phase and particle size of the obtained powders were also evaluated. When the RF induction thermal plasma treatment was conducted with and without H<sub>2</sub>, the XRD and FESEM results showed the formation of mixed-phase α- and beta-W (β-W) nanopowder and WO<sub>3</sub> nanopowder, respectively. Single-phase α-W nanopowder was achieved by annealing the WO<sub>3</sub> nanopowder in an H<sub>2</sub> reductive atmosphere at 700 <sup>o</sup>C for 10 min, resulting in homogenous nanoparticles with a small particle size (d50) of 21.16 nm without any aggregation.

Salah satu tempat di sungai Cimanuk yang memiliki pos duga air adalah Cimanuk-Bojongloa. Data debit selain dari hasil observasi, juga bisa menggunakan pemodelan. Model yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model NRECA dan model Sacramento. Data curah hujan untuk kalibrasi dengan empat pos, yaitu Pamegatan, Pangauban, Kapakan, dan Bayongbong dari tahun 2017 sampai 2021. Curah hujan rata-rata dihitung dengan metode Thiessen. Kalibrasi model untuk memperoleh parameter kalibrasi terbaik sehingga debit pemodelan akan mendekati debit observasi. Pemodelan debit menggunakan data harian dari tahun 2012 sampai 2021. Hasil kalibrasi pada model NRECA, yaitu PSUB, GWF, dan Wo adalah masing-masing 0,9; 0,2; 600; dan nilai NSE adalah -1,557. Pada model Sacramento hasil kalibrasi adalah UZTW sebesar 25; UZFW sebesar 400; LZTW sebesar 600; LZFS sebesar 20; dan LZFP sebesar 40. One of the places on the Cimanuk river that has a water observation post is Cimanuk-Bojongloa. Discharge data apart from measurement results, can also use modeling. The models used in this research are the NRECA model and the Sacramento model. Rainfall data for calibration with four station namely Pamegatan, Pangauban, Kapakan, and Bayongbong from 2017 to 2021. Average rainfall is calculated using the Thiessen method. Calibrate the model to obtain the best calibration parameters so that the modeled discharge will be close to the observed discharge. Discharge modeling uses daily data from 2012 to 2021. The calibration results for the NRECA model, namely PSUB, GWF, and Wo are 0.9 each; 0.2; 600; and the NSE value is -1.557. In the Sacramento model the calibration results are UZTW 25; UZFW 400; LZTW 600; LZFS 20; and LZFP 40. Al2(WO4)3was synthesized by co-precipitation using Na2WO4and Al (NO3)3as precursors. After drying the precipitate, it was calcined at different temperatures between 500°C and 800°C. The crystallization and degradation temperatures of the samples were evaluated by means of Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Thermogravimetry (TG) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). It was observed that the crystallization starts at around 600°C, however Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) analysis showed that at this temperature the sample is partially amorphous. The degradation of the material starts at around 1200°C and at 1400°C the tungsten oxide has almost completely evaporated and the material is transformed mainly in alpha-alumina.

2527 Background: JNJ-64457107 (JNJ-107) is an agonistic human monoclonal (IgG1) antibody targeting CD40, a novel target for anti-tumor immunotherapy with a central role in adaptive and innate immunity. Methods: JNJ-107 was administered intravenously Q2W in treatment cycles of 28 days. Dose escalation was pursued with (w) and without (wo) pre-infusion steroids for mitigation of infusion related reactions (IRRs). Dose-limiting toxicity (DLT), safety, PK, PD and antitumor activity were evaluated. Results: 95 pts of age 18-80 years (median 59) were enrolled in 7 cohorts (n = 50, 75µg/kg – 2000 µg/kg) w/steroids and 5 cohorts (n = 45, 75 µg/kg – 1200 µg/kg) wo/steroids and received 1-26 (median 3) cycles of JNJ-107. Two DLTs occurred: Grade (G) 3 headache lasting 5 days at 1200 µg/kg w/steroids and G3 ALT/AST + G2 bilirubin increase at 1200 µg/kg wo/steroids. Most frequent adverse events (≥20%) were pyrexia (41%), fatigue (39%), pruritus (39%), headache (26%), chills (26%), nausea (22%) and rash (21%). IRRs were reported in 51% of pts (G1-G2 50%, G3 1%). Most commonly reported IRRs (≥10%) were pruritus (31%), rash (15%), chills (13%) and flushing (12%). Cetirizine and Montelukast premedication during dose escalation wo/steroids significantly reduced IRRs. Preliminary PK of JNJ-107 suggest target mediated drug disposition with rapid decline in serum concentrations (half-life of ~13h at 600 µg/kg and ~ 24h at doses ≥1200 µg/kg). Dose proportional increase in Cmax and AUC(last) was observed at doses ≥1200 µg/kg and more than dose proportional increase was seen at lower doses. PD of JNJ-107 demonstrated dose-independent reduction in peripheral blood B cells recovering in a dose-dependent manner. MCP-1, IP-10, MIP-1a, and MIP-1b cytokines showed high-level responses with cytokine/chemokine secretion kinetics consistent, but not confirmatory, for activation of antigen presenting cells. IFNg, TNF, and IL-8 showed moderate responses reflecting downstream T cell activation. Other tested cytokines were at low levels. A partial response lasting 9.2 months was observed in 1 pt with renal cell cancer. 13 (14%) and 10 (11%) pts showed stable disease lasting ≥3 months and ≥ 6 months, respectively. Conclusions: The CD40 agonist JNJ-107 has a manageable safety profile with favorable PK and PD properties. Future clinical development will require combination with either chemotherapy, or other immunotherapies such as antitumor vaccines or checkpoint inhibitors. Clinical trial information: NCT02829099.

In this paper, the gas sensors using WO3 as sensitive electrode, Pt mixed potential as the reference electrode was researched. The structures and preparation methods of the sensors were introduced. Besides, the sensitive materials, the electrode surface and the section morphologies were characterized by means of SEM and EDS. Furthermore, the sensing properties of the as-fabricated sensors were examined under different NOX concentrations and temperatures (500°C, 550°C and 600°C). The results revealed that the response signal become smaller with the temperature increasing, and stronger with the increasing of the NO2 concentration.

The Tb3+doped Bi2WO6 luminescent materials are synthesized by a co-precipitation method. The structure and composition of the samples were characterized by DTA-TG and XRD. The results showed that the formula of the sample is Bi2WO6 at the temperature of 600°C~900°C, which belongs to the needed and stable orthorhombic ctystal. The luminescence properties were characterized by UV-vis and fluorescence spectrophotometer. The results showed that, the phosphor can be effectively stimulated by blue light of 488 nm, we can get the intense green-emission, which corresponds to the 5D4→7F5 transitions of Tb3+. It indicates that the samples match the light-emitting wavelength of the common blue-emitting InGaN chips and are expected to be applicable to a new type of green-emission light conversion materials which are applicable to the blue LED chips.

In this paper, visible-light-active monoclinic WO3 powders were synthesized by thermal oxidation of W powders at 200 – 1000 °C in air atmosphere. Morphology and crystal structure of annealed W powders were characterized by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD), respectively. Based on SEM and XRD results, a spherical orthorhombic-W3O8 obtained at 200 °C was transformed into a dendritic monoclinic WO2 + tetragonal WO3 + monoclinic WO3 structures at 400 °C accompanied by a color transition from grey into green. At 600 °C, yellow monoclinic WO3 + monoclinic WO2.96 powder was produced that ascribed to oxygen vacancies. Photocatalytic activity of annealed W powders demonstrated 70.7% Cr (VI) removal after 150 min on sample annealed at 1000 °C. This ascribed to high photoactivity of monoclinic WO3. Nevertheless, the dendritic monoclinic WO2 + tetragonal WO3 + monoclinic WO3 obtained at 400 °C exhibited the lowest Cr (VI) photoreduction i.e. 45.2% implies less photoactive monoclinic WO2 and sluggish electron transport at oxide-oxide interfaces.

This paper reports the study of the humidity-sensitive electrical properties of TiO2:WO3 thick films. Prototype sensors have been prepared by depositing an emulsion of TiO2 and WO3 powders in acetone with cellulous glue onto an alumina substrate, by a spin coating technique using a low spreading speed (125 r.p.m.). Films were prepared with five different atoms proportions of Ti and W: 100:0, 100:1, 100:6, 100:18 and 100:36. The oxides thick films were successively fired at the temperatures of 600, 700, 900, 1100, and 1300 °C, during 2 hours at each of these temperatures. Measurements were obtained at a constant temperature of 25 °C and at various relative humidities (RHs) in the frequency range of 0.01 Hz – 40 MHz. It was thought that the humidity sensing of the TiO2 matrix would be influenced by the substitution of the Ti4+ ions for higher valence ions, W6+ in the present study. In the measuring frequency range, samples impedance varies of three-four orders of magnitude over the RH range of 10-100 %. It is found to be the sensitivity highly dependent on both the measuring frequency and the sintering temperature. A parameter called characteristic humidity is defined to represent the sensitive response of sensors. This parameter is used to evaluate the influence of the W6+ ions on the sensitivity behaviour of the sensors.

Nowadays, energy problems have become one of the biggest challenges in our society and they have drawn worldwide attention. Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries (LiBs) are a good option thanks to their potential applications as power sources for electric vehicles and mobile devices due to their high energy density and good cycle stability. Much effort has recently been devoted to find alternative anode materials and replace graphite in LiBs, like transition metal oxides that are currently being investigated (1). Specifically, tungsten oxide (WO3) has attracted much interest as an anode due to its excellent properties: high electronic conductivity (10–10−6 s cm−1), high intrinsic density (>7 g cm−3), small radius, and correct crystalline phase for rapid ion insertion and superior electrochemical performance (2). In this research, the effects of the morphology and composition of WO3 nanostructures on the charge/discharge behavior for Li-ion batteries are methodically examined. On the one hand, a simple method is used to synthesize crystalline WO3 nanostructures, with a well-defined morphology by means of an electrochemical procedure known as electrochemical adodization. Then, an annealing treatment at 600◦C in air environment for 4 h was carried out. In the second electrode synthesized, a carbon layer was uniformly deposited on WO3 nanostructures to obtain a WO3/C electrode. Finally, WO3/WS2 electrodes were prepared by means of in situ sulfurization of WO3 one-step solid-state synthesis using tungsten trioxide (WO3) and thiourea as precursor material. The different electrodes synthesized have been morphologically characterized by using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, transmission electron microscopy, Raman spectra, and field-emission scanning electron microscopy. The performance of the nanostructures applied as anodes for energy storage in Li-ion batteries and their specific capacity was evaluated by Cyclic Voltammetry (CV), Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and Charge-Discharge curves. Among all the synthesized samples, WO3/C nanostructures reveal the best performance as they exhibit the greatest discharge capacity and cycle performance (820 mA h g−1). Abstract. A planetary body’s global shape provides both insight into its geologic evolution, and a key element of any Planetary Spatial Data Infrastructure (PSDI). NASA’s Cassini mission to Saturn acquired more than 600 moderate- to high-resolution images (<500 m/pixel) of the small, geologically active moon Enceladus. The moon’s internal global ocean and intriguing geology mark it as a candidate for future exploration and motivates the development of a PSDI. Recently, two PSDI foundational data sets were created: geodetic control and orthoimages. To provide the third foundational data set, we generate a new shape model for Enceladus from Cassini images and a dense photogrammetric control network (nearly 1 million tie points) using the U.S. Geological Survey’s Integrated Software for Imagers and Spectrometers (ISIS) and the Ames Stereo Pipeline (ASP). The new shape model is near-global in extent and gridded to 2.2 km/pixel, ∼50 times better resolution than previous global models. Our calculated triaxial shape, rotation rate, and pole orientation for Enceladus is consistent with current International Astronomical Union (IAU) values to within the error; however, we determined a new prime meridian offset (Wo) of 7.063°. We calculate Enceladus’ long-wavelength topography by subtracting the best-fit triaxial ellipsoid from our shape model. The result is comparable to previous global models but can resolve topographic features as small as 5–7 km across in certain areas. To evaluate the spatially varying quality of the model, we calculate the point density (variable from 5 to more than 50 points per pixel), normalized median absolute deviation of the points within each pixel (typically less than 100 m), and the minimum expected vertical precision of each point (ranging from 29 m to 2 km).

In this article, referring to the past and the analysis of contemporary craft practice, I describe the process of deconstruction in this area. I am particularly interested in men knitting in public. The aim of my considerations is to analyze the difference between the meaning of what is male and female in knitting, and between hegemonic practice and subversive acts of deconstruction.

wo experiments were carried out in a 2 x 2 factorial arrangement with the objective of evaluating two methods of concentrate feeding for Holstein x Gyr cows fed 600 g kg-1 chopped elephantgrass-based diets supplemented at 45 g kg-1 DM with two types of sunflower oil (SO). The types of SO differed in the levels of oleic and linoleic fatty acids (FAs): high oleic/low linoleic acid – HO (73 and 10 g 100 g-1 FA, respectively) and medium oleic/medium linoleic acid – MO (43 and 34 g 100 g-1 FA, respectively). The concentrates containing HO SO or MO SO were supplied separately from the forage twice a day after the two milkings (TAD) or as part of a total mixed ration (TMR). In Experiment 1, a 4 x 4 Latin square design was used to evaluate the ruminal fermentation and degradation parameters in four rumen-cannulated cows (430±39 kg; 79±20 days in milk; 16.4±3.1 kg day-1 of milk). In Experiment 2, a randomized block design was used to evaluate the nutrient intake, plasma contents of metabolites and FAs, milk yield and composition, and FA profile of milk fat in 32 cows (444±84 kg; 75±31 days in milk; 15.4±4.8 kg day-1 of milk). The results were analyzed by mixed models (P ? 0.05). The TMR diets promoted higher nutrient intake and rumen fermentation (higher ammonia N, acetate, propionate and total volatile FA contents) without affecting milk, fat, protein and lactose yields. TAD-fed cows presented higher feed efficiency and produced milk fat with a more nutritionally desirable FA composition, with higher vaccenic and rumenic acid contents and lower trans-10 C18:1 and palmitic acid contents. The DM intake, parameters of rumen fermentation and milk, fat, protein and lactose yields were similar for the HO SO and MO SO diets. The most nutritionally positive characteristics for human health in the milk fat of HO SO-fed cows were the higher eicosapentaenoic (+34%) and oleic acid (+11%) contents and lower palmitic acid content (-10%). Higher contents of vaccenic (+71%) and rumenic (+74%) acids and lower trans-10 C18:1 (-10%), elaidic (-32%), lauric (-14%) and myristic (-11%) acid contents were the most positive aspects of the milk fat of MO SO-fed cows. Considering the magnitudes of the differences in the levels of these FAs, it is concluded that the milk fat of cows fed MO SO showed a healthier milk FA profile.

Wolf-Rayet stars of the carbon sequence (WC stars) are an important cornerstone in the late evolution of massive stars before their core collapse. As core-helium burning, hydrogen-free objects with huge mass-loss, they are likely the last observable stage before collapse and thus promising progenitor candidates for type Ib/c supernovae. Their strong mass-loss furthermore provides challenges and constraints to the theory of radiatively driven winds. Thus, the determination of the WC star parameters is of major importance for several astrophysical fields. With Gaia DR2, for the first time parallaxes for a large sample of Galactic WC stars are available, removing major uncertainties inherent to earlier studies. In this work, we re-examine a previously studied sample of WC stars to derive key properties of the Galactic WC population. All quantities depending on the distance are updated, while the underlying spectral analyzes remain untouched. Contrasting earlier assumptions, our study yields that WC stars of the same subtype can significantly vary in absolute magnitude. With Gaia DR2, the picture of the Galactic WC population becomes more complex: We obtain luminosities ranging from logL/L⊙ = 4.9–6.0 with one outlier (WR 119) having logL/L⊙ = 4.7. This indicates that the WC stars are likely formed from a broader initial mass range than previously assumed. We obtain mass-loss rates ranging between log Ṁ = −5.1 and −4.1, with Ṁ ∝ L0.68 and a linear scaling of the modified wind momentum with luminosity. We discuss the implications for stellar evolution, including unsolved issues regarding the need of envelope inflation to address the WR radius problem, and the open questions in regard to the connection of WR stars with Gamma-ray bursts. WC and WO stars are progenitors of massive black holes, collapsing either silently or in a supernova that most-likely has to be preceded by a WO stage.

Objective. This trial compared the effectiveness of a web-based only (WO) intervention with web-based supplemented by peer-led discussion (WD) or professional email counseling (WE) across 3 phases to achieve weight loss and weight maintenance in women from underserved rural communities.Methods. 301 women (BMI of 28–45 kg/m2) randomly assigned to groups participated in guided weight loss (baseline to 6 months), guided weight loss and maintenance (6 to 18 months), and self-managed weight maintenance (18 to 30 months).Results. Retention was 88.7%, 76.5%, and 71.8% at 6, 18, and 30 months, respectively. Intent-to-treat analyses demonstrated no group differences in change in weight within any phases. At 6 months, observed mean (SD) weight loss was 5.1 (6.0) kg in WO, 4.1 (5.6) kg in WD, and 6.0 (6.3) kg in WE, with 42%, 38%, and 51%, respectively, meeting ≥ 5% weight loss. These proportions dropped by a third after phase 2 with no further change during phase 3.Conclusion. Web-based interventions assisted women from rural communities in achieving 6-month weight loss, with weight regain by half at 30 months. No group differences were potentially due to the robust nature of the web-based intervention.Trial Registration. This trial is registered with ClinicalTrials.govNCT01307644.

Hollow-spherical WO3 nanocrystals were obtained by calcining an organic-inorganic W-C precursor containing C and W in a microwave oven or in a conventional muffle furnace, and the W-C precursor hybrid precursor was synthesized via a hydrothermal method. The samples were characterized by XRD, TG-DTA, FTIR and SEM. The morphologies of the WO3 samples obtained by conventionally heating (C-WO3) and microwave-assisted heating (M-WO3) were compared. The average diameter and shell thickness of C-WO3 hollow spheres is about 450 and 200 nm, respectively. The average diameter and shell thickness of M-WO3 hollow spheres is about 500 and 50 nm, respectively. The M-WO3 has a loose and multilayered shell, and their nanoparticles are smaller than those of C-WO3. The improved structure of M-WO3 is due to shorter heating time and the unique heating style in a microwave oven. The gas-sensing performances of the WO3 sensors were investigated. The M-WO3 sensor has better response to ethanol vapors than the C-WO3.

WO3 has been widely applied in many fields such as electrochromic window, photocatalyst, and gas-senor. In this paper, WO3/S core/shell nanoparticles were synthesized in high density and large scale on silicon substrates via simple thermal evaporation of WO3 and S powders at 950 °C in a tube furnace. The morphology, composition and structure of the nanoparticles were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The results indicate that the nano-particles have a uniform morphology with a diameter in the range of 150-250 nm and well crystalline structure. The growth mechanism of the nanoparticles was also proposed.

In this experiment, we use the opaque mirror stainless steel as the substrate to investigate decorative color variations after insertion of the Na+ ion in the film and prescribe the combination coating film with reversible and excellent coating characteristics. In manufacturing of the coating film, reactive gas pass through the metal tungsten target and form the amorphous tungsten oxide thin film on stainless steel and the various colors, such as green and pink color, on the mirror stainless by adjusting the process parameters. The coating film device then immerse in sodium bicarbonate aqueous solution and induce cyclic potential of -2V~+2V. Base color of stainless steel produce the color change reaction by inserting Na+ in the film. Experimental observations show that the green base color will transform to pink then blue and the pink base color transform to green then blue.

Introduction: Multiple genetic alterations that occur at diagnosis or relapse are not only prognostic characteristics of multiple myeloma (MM) but also provide evidence for clonal evolution. Uncovering and dissecting true driver events in MM might provide rational for new potential targets and therapeutic approaches. However, whereas genetic diagnostics in MM namely FISH and gene expression profiling are well-established prognostic tools, individual mutation profiling has not yet been adopted for this purpose. Herein, we aimed to analyze the Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) platform results investigating mutational profiling of patients with relapsed and refractory MM (RRMM). Also, the clinical results of those who had a targetable mutation and were treated "off label" will be presented. Material and Methods: A total of 14 consecutive patients with MM referred to our center between November 2018 and May 2019 were studied. Plasma cells were isolated from bone marrow samples using Selection Kit microbead specific for EasySepTM Human CD138 marker (StemCell Technologies). DNA extracted form magnetic bead enriched cells, bone marrow aspiration smears for bone marrow involved, from FFPE tissue samples for extramedullary-involved cases. NGS method was performed on llumina Miseq platform (USA) by using QIAseq targeted DNA panel (12)- Human myeloid neoplasm panel, covers all exons and exon-intron junctions of 141 target genes. For the data analysis QCI Analyze Universal 1,5.0 was performed. The PCL analysis was performed on CD138 and Ki67 double immune stained paraffin sections, and the quantification was done by using 3DHistech digital pathology platform. Results: We obtained 16 samples of DNA from 12 heavily pretreated and two newly diagnosed myeloma patients. Female/male: 5/9 with a median age of 57 years (range, 39-87) patients had received a median four lines (range; 1-13) of treatment. Out of a panel of 141 genes, 59 mutations in 26 genes were detected (Figure-1). Among these recurrent genomic abnormalities, concomitant missense protein coding alterations were detected in all patients. The PTEN mutation was the most frequently detected, followed by mutations of RAS/MAPK pathway genes. The hotspots of mutation in KRAS codon 61 and NRAS included codons 61 and 13 as well as codon 600 in BRAF. In addition, we detected novel ie myeloproliferative and myelodysplasia associated mutations previously un-described in myeloma. A diverse range of recurrent gains and losses were detected in our cohort. Two patients at diagnosis also carried mutations of PTEN and KRAS. Based on these results three patients were able to obtain off-label approval for treatment with Everolimus (for PTEN) (Patient-1) or Trametinib (for KRAS) (Patient 5 & 6) in combination with Pomalidomide (EvoPomDex) w/wo Daratumumab or Tra-PomDex. Patient-1 had extensive extramedullary disease (EMD) in the skin, which responded completely to Dara-EvoPomDex combination. Complete disappearance of initial lesions (presented in Figure-2) and VGPR duration was only two months. Subsequent refractoriness and appearance of new lesions lead to death of the patient, one year from the initiation of EMD. Patient-6, also presented with EMD, was treated with TraPomDex as the seventh treatment line. TraPomDex treatment was well tolerated, the most significant adverse event diarrhea, infections and pancytopenia. Her biochemical response was a transient VGPR, which was lost during interruption of treatment due to infection. She also died four months after initiation of TraPomDex. Patient-5, plasma cell leukemia, has been on Tra-PomDex for a month and his response is PR yet. Conclusion: The detection of mutations can improve our ability to treat multiple refractory patients who have ran out of all therapeutic options. Though the responses observed among such very heavily pretreated patients are not durable, they are highly promising. Also, of additional importance is detection of age-related cumulative mutations belonging to background bone marrow precursors. Detection of sub-clonal mutations is very helpful in depth analysis of clonal response to treatment and clonal evolution. In the coming years, the identification of actionable mutations in myeloma opens the way for targeted therapy. Long-slit spectrophotometric observations of HII regions around Wolf-Rayet stars in the Galaxy, the Magellanic Clouds and in IC1613 are employed to measure the ionizing radiation from these stars. The sample includes all known WR stars in the SMC and 14 regions in the LMC comprising most of the known ring nebulæ. Apart from previously known HeII λ4686 emitting nebulæ around a few WO stars, HeIII regions were discovered within the nebulæ N76 and N79W which are being photoionized by the strong He+ Lyman continuum emission from the MagellanicWNE stars AB7 and Br2, respectively. The Zanstra blackbody temperatures and luminosities (80 000, 95 000 K and log L/LO = 5.4, 6.0, respectively) agree remarkably well with more elaborate WN model calculations and suggest a much higher bolometric correction (BC = −5.8 mag) than generally admitted for WN stars. The stoichiometry of the polyanions formed by the action of nitric acid on sodium tungstate(≤ 0.01M) has been studied by means of electrometric techniques involving pH-potentiometric andconductometric titrations. The well defined inflections and breaks in the titration curves provideevidence for the existence of the polyanions, para-W 12 O 4110- and meta-W 12 O 396- corresponding to theratio of H + :WO 42- as 7:6 and 9:6 in the pH ranges 5.7-6.0 and 3.6-4.1, respectively. The interaction oflanthanum nitrate with sodium tungstate solutions, at specific pH levels 8.0, 5.9 and 4.0 was alsostudied by pH and conductometric titrations, in aqueous and alcoholic media, with each of the reagentsalternatively used as titrant. The electrometric experiments provide definite evidence of the formationof normal-La 2 O 3 .3WO 3 , para-5La 2 O 3 .36WO 3 and meta-La 2 O 3 .12WO 3 tungstates in the vicinity of pH6.3, 5.0 and 4.2, respectively. Analytical investigations on the precipitates formed confirm the resultsof the electrometric study.

Abstract The study used the NAM model of flow simulation with a time series of 14 years (2008 - 2021), statistical analysis method, and MIKE 11 AD water quality model, and Ecolab combined with GIS method to calculate wastewater reception capacity and load capacity of the basin. The model validation is highly reliable with a model efficiency factor of R2 of 0.777 and BIAS = 5%. The results of the application of the NAM model have determined the daily flow series of 14 years (2008 - 2021) and the average flow characteristics of many years of the La Tinh basin such as Qo flow is about 5.9; 6.0 m3/s, total amount of Wo = 292.1; 188.8 million m3 flow modulus Mo = 19.3 l/s-km2 flow class Yo = 611 mm and flow coefficient α= 0.3 for all sub-basins. The results of the study show that the capacity of receiving wastewater, the capacity of most river sections in the La Tinh basin is still received with five parameters at a relatively high level, the section of the Binh Tri river upstream alone has exceeded its capacity to receive. This is one of the very useful tools in integrated management and effective use management of river basin water resources.

The development of industrial era that gradually grow in the various fields, especially for heavy equipment industry that need to take a strategy in order to win the competition and to obtain larger market share. This research uses quantitative descriptive research method by describing facts and explaining the situation based on facts and figures data that exist and try to analyze the truth through the data obtained. The analytical method used is SWOT Analysis of TSI (No Industry Scale) using EFAS (external factor analysis) and IFAS (internal factor analysis) analysis. The results of this study indicate that company X in using the SWOT Without Industrial Scale puts the strategy of Strength (S)> Opportunity (O), Strategy Opportunity (O)> Weakness (W), Strength Strategy (S)> Threat (T) and Threat Strategy> Weakness (W), so that this condition that PT X is in position to utilize SO strategy which has highest score value that is = 7.6, followed by strategy ST = 6.6, WO = 6.0 and WT=4.8. From these results, the strategy undertaken by company X is to maintain the brand image strategy and penetrate the market to find a larger market share. Strengthening human resources (HR) needs to be done so that companies can add and train human resources, especially professional technicians.

Context. The observed late-type WC Wolf-Rayet stars (WC7-9) with low luminosity below log L/L⊙ < 5.4 in the HR diagram cannot be reproduced satisfactorily by the evolutionary track of single stars. The mass transfer due to Roche lobe overflow drastically modifies the internal structure and surface compositions of two components. Therefore, binaries provide a very promising evolutionary channel to produce these WC stars. Aims. The Gaia satellite provides accurate distances to WC stars and confirms the luminosities of WC stars. Based on a small grid containing single stars and binaries, we aim to investigate the extent to which the evolution of a single or a close binary can reproduce the properties of these stars. Methods. We considered single-star models with masses between 20 and 40 M⊙. We calculated the evolution for three binaries with a 30 M⊙ primary star with a 27 M⊙ companion star with initial orbital periods of 6.0, 20.0, 500.0, and 1000.0 days. Results. The rotating single star can evolve into a late-type WC star but with high luminosity (i.e., log L/L⊙ > 5.4). Enhanced wind mass loss rates during RSG and WR stages, as proposed in the literature, can cause the star to approach the observational range of low-luminosity WC stars and favor the formation of low-luminosity WO stars. In a wide binary system with initial Porb = 1000 days, the primary star can evolve into a late-type WC star and be compatible with the observed properties of the low-luminosity WC stars. The result is almost insensitive to the adopted accretion efficiency 1 − β. Conclusions. Compared with single stars, the low brightness is due to a smaller temperature gradient inside the star after the Case C Roche lobe overflow, while the low effective temperature is due to envelope expansion. There are four physical reasons for the formation of the expanding envelope. Firstly, less helium envelope can be transferred to the companion star in this system. Heavy helium envelopes can be heated by the helium burning shell and this creates the necessary conditions for the envelope expansion. Secondly, the expansion of the helium envelope can also be boosted by the sharp shrinkage of the larger carbon-oxygen core through the mirror effect. Thirdly, a more massive WC star can attain a higher Eddington factor because of its higher L/M ratio. The increase in L/M with mass is the primary cause for the extended envelopes in WC stars. Finally, the iron opacity bump at T ∼ 105.25 K may also trigger envelope inflation because it can lead to a larger Eddington factor.

In der Einleitung schreibt der Verfasser über die Bedeutung der Pfarrei in der Sendung der Kirche und über ihre Entstehung als verlängerter Arm der Seelsorge des Bischofs und seibes Presbyteriums. Im ersten Abschnitt wird die geschichtliche Entwicklung der Pfarrei dargestellt. Im römischen Imperium begannen die Chorbischöfe am Ende des II Jahrhunderts auf den Dörfern des Kleinasiens und Syriens die Seelsorge zu führen. Im III Jahrh. sandten die Bischöfe in Spanien und in den südlichen Provinzen Galliens die Diakone und die Priester zu den Gläubigen in den Burgen-castra, Dörfern-vici und Gü- tem -villae und erteilten ihnen immer grössere Berechtigungen in der Seelsorge. Sie teilten ihnen auch als Ełrhaltungsmittel einen Viertel oder einen Drittel der Opfer, welche die Gläubigen beisteuerten. Mit der Zeit weisten die Bischöfe den ganannten Seelsorgerm Ackerfelder als precaria an. In den germanischen Staaten forderten die Synoden, die Gutsbesitzer sollen den Acker der Kirche zuteilen, die in ihren Gütern gebaut wurde. Nach der Säkularisation der Kirchengüter zur Zeit Pipins führte sein Sohn Karl der Grosse im Kapitulare von Heristal im Jahre 779 die Pflicht ein, die Gläubigen sollen ihrem Pfarrer den Grundzehent darbringen. Auf diese Weise entstand das karolingische Modell der Austattung der Pfarrei: Ackerfeld, Garten, Haus, Grundzehent, Opfer u.s.w. Die Privatkirchen verbreiteten sich in Europa. Die gregorianische Reform, die durch das Decretum Gratiani verwirklicht wurde, gestaltete die Privatkirchen in das Recht des Patronates um. Es entstanden zahlreiche Einverleibungen der Pfarreien in die Kloster. In Polen wurden die Pfarreien seit Mitte des XI Jahrhunderts als Institute privaten Rechtes gebildet. Am Ende des XII Jahrhunderts zählte man 800 bis 1000 Kirchen, die die Pfarrechte erlangten. Die Kolonisation im XIII Jahrhundert vergrösserte die Zahl der Pfarreien bis 3000. Am Ende des XV Jahrhunderts waren ungefähr 6000 Pfarreien tätig. Im zweiten Abschnitt wird eine Analyse der Elemente der Pfarrei in ihrer geschichtlichen Entwicklung durchgeführt: Gläubigen, die eine seelsorgerische Bedienung nötig haben, Raum für Kultus und Versammlungen, Priester, der die Seelsorge ausübt, Existenzmittel für den Pfarrer und für die Personen, die in der Pfarrei arbeiten, und Territorium, das der Wirkungskreis der Pfarrei ist. Im dritten Abschnitt beschreibt der Verfasser den Begriff der Pfarrei nach dem Codex Iuris Canonici 1917. Zuerst wird die Ansicht von Benedikt XIV, F. X. Wemz und J. B. Sägmüller geschildert. Es wird festgestellt, das die Stellung des ganannten Gesetzbuches nicht gleichartig war. Es war undeutlich, ob die Pfarrei die Rechtspersönlichkeit neben dem Benefizium des Pfarrers und der Kirchenfabrik — fabrica ecclesiae hat. Es war nicht sicher, was das Wesen der Rechtspersönlichkeit einer Pfarrei bildet. L. Bender schrieb, dass die Rechtspersönlichkeit im Dasein der Pfarrei als einer Gesamtheit und nicht in ihren Teilen wurzelt. In der heutigen industrialisierter Gesellschaft besteht eine Krisis der traditionellen Pfarrei. Es ensteht eine Trennung zwischen der gesellschaftlichen Wirklichkeit und dem Leben der Pfarrei. Im letzten Abschnitt wird die Pfarrei im neuen kirchlichen Gesetzbuch beschrieben. Der Verfasser beginnt mit der Darstellung der neuen Richtlinien, die in den Schemata, während der konziliaren Diskussion und in den Beschlüssen des Vatikanum II hingewiesen wurden. In Fortsetzung wird die Erörterung im konsultativen Ensemble der Päpstlichen Kommission zusammengefasst. Der Verfasser kommentiert die Normen: Beschreibung der Pfarrei im Kanon 516 § 1, Verteilung der Pfarrei als einer Gesamtheit der Rechtspersönlichkeit mit der Unterstreichung. diese Rechtspersönlichkei habe einen unkollegialen Charakter, weil die Pfarrei nur ein Kettenglied in der hierarchischen Struktur der Kirche ist. Dabei wird auch die Quasipfarrei und andere seelsorgerische Einheiten, die noch keine Pfarreien siind, beschrieben. Eine juristische Person kann nicht Pfarrer sein. Wo die Umstände es fordern, kann die Seelsorge für eine oder für verschiedene Pfarreien zugleich mehreren Priestern solidarisch übertragen werden. Einer von ihnen muss Leiter des seelsorglichen Wirkens sein. Wegen Priestermangels kann der Bischof die Seelsorge in einer Pfarrei einem Diakon, anderer Person, die nicht die Priesterweihe empfangen hat, oder einer Gameinschaft von religiösen oder weltlichen Personen übertragen (Kan. 517). Bei dem Begriff der Pfarrei wie auch des Pfarrers hat das neue Gesetzbuch weitere Entwicklung in Aussicht. Die Pfarrei hat in aller Regel territorial abgegrenzt zu sein und alle Gläubigen eines bestimmten Gebietes zu umfassen. Wo es jedoch angezeigt ist, sind Personalpfarreien zu errichten, die nach Ritus, Sprache oder Nationalität der Gläubigen eines Gebietes oder auch unter einem anderen Gesichtspunkt bestimmt werden (Kan. 518). Die sogenanten Basisgemeinschaften sind hier nicht ausgeschlossen. Der neue Codex spricht nicht über das Territorium als Grundbestandteil einer Pfarrei. Zum Schluss lehnt der Verfasser die These von R. Sohin über Gegensatz zwischen Wesen der Kirche und des Rechtes ab. Man darf nicht den Rechtspositivismus auf das Gebiet des kanonischen Rechtes übertragen. Das Recht der Kirche darf von der Theologie nicht abgerissen werden. Den Zusammenhang zwischen diesen Disziplinen kann man auch in der Entwicklung der Pfarrei feststellen. Die Lelrre des II Vatikanischen Konzils unterstreicht, die Kirche sei ein Sakrament Der neue Codex hebt in der Beschreibung der Pfarrei die personalen Elemente hervor: Gemeinschaft der Gläubigen und Seelsorger. Die Definition der Pfarrei muss den theologischen wie auch den rechtlichen Aspekt berücksichtigen.

Abstract Introduction: FLT3-ITD mutations are among the most common molecular abnormalities in AML, occurring in ≈ 25% of pts. These driver mutations are associated with high leukemic burden and poor prognosis, eg, high risk of relapse, decreased response to salvage therapy, and shorter overall survival (OS). Pts with R/R FLT3-ITD AML have a worse prognosis and represent a population with high unmet medical need. Q is a once-daily, oral, highly potent and selective FLT3i shown in phase 2 trials to have promising single-agent antileukemic activity and a manageable safety profile. QuANTUM-R was the first global, phase 3, randomized controlled trial (NCT02039726) to show that an FLT3i prolonged OS compared with salvage chemotherapy (SC) in pts with R/R FLT3-ITD AML. Final efficacy and safety data from this pivotal phase 3 trial are reported. Methods: Pts aged ≥ 18 years with FLT3-ITD AML refractory to or relapsed (duration of first remission ≤ 6 mo) after standard AML therapy, w/wo hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) were randomized 2:1 to receive Q (60 mg [30-mg lead-in]) or 1 of 3 preselected investigator's choice (IC) SC: low-dose cytarabine (LoDAC); mitoxantrone, etoposide, and intermediate-dose cytarabine (MEC); or fludarabine, cytarabine, and granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) with idarubicin (FLAG-IDA). Up to 2 cycles of MEC or FLAG-IDA were permitted; Q and LoDAC were given until lack of benefit, unacceptable toxicity, or HSCT. Prior therapy with midostaurin was allowed, but all other FLT3i were not. Pts receiving HSCT in the Q arm could resume Q after HSCT. Primary and secondary endpoints were OS and event-free survival (EFS), respectively. Sensitivity analyses for OS and EFS were conducted: (1) using the per-protocol set (randomized and treated patients without major protocol deviations), (2) censoring at HSCT, (3) censoring at the use of other postbaseline FLT3i (for OS only). Predefined subgroup analyses of OS were also performed. Exploratory endpoints included response rates, duration of CRc, and transplant rate. Results: 367 pts were randomized; 245 to Q and 122 to IC SC (LoDAC, n=29; MEC, n=40; FLAG-IDA, n=53). Four pts randomized to Q and 28 pts randomized to SC did not receive therapy. Median follow-up was 23.5 mo. Six pts were still on initial Q treatment at data cutoff vs 0 in the SC arm. Treatment groups were well balanced for baseline characteristics, including age, response to prior therapy, transplant history, and FLT3-ITD allelic burden. OS hazard ratio (HR) of Q relative to SC was 0.76 (95% CI, 0.58-0.98; stratified log-rank test, 1-sided P=0.0177). Median OS was 6.2 (95% CI, 5.3-7.2) vs 4.7 (95% CI, 4.0-5.5) mo, with an estimated 12-mo OS probability of 27% vs 20% in Q and SC arms, respectively. EFS HR was 0.90 (95% CI, 0.70-1.16; stratified log-rank test, 1-sided P=0.1071); median EFS was 6.0 (95% CI, 0.1-8.3) vs 3.7 (95% CI, 0.4-5.9) wk, respectively. Sensitivity analyses of OS and EFS all supported benefit of quizartinib compared with SC, as did OS analyses across subgroups, including varying allelic ratio, prior HSCT, AML risk score, and response to prior therapy (Tables 1 and 2, Figure). CRc was 48% (95% CI, 42%-55%) and 27% (95% CI, 19%-36%) in Q and SC arms (nominal P=0.0001), respectively. Duration of CRc was 12.1 (95% CI, 10.4-27.1) vs 5.0 (95% CI, 3.3-12.6) wk. Transplant rate was 32% and 12% in Q and SC arms (nominal P<0.0001), respectively; of 79 eligible pts, 49 (62%) resumed single-agent Q after HSCT (15 ongoing Q treatment at data cutoff). Median duration of post-HSCT Q was 129 d. Rates of treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs) were comparable between the 2 arms, despite higher total drug exposure in Q vs SC arms (101.9 vs 3.7 patient-years [pt-y], respectively). Exposure-adjusted TEAEs were 2.3 vs 25.2 per pt-y, respectively. Most common grade ≥ 3 TEAEs in both arms were infections and those associated with cytopenia. Only 2 pts discontinued Q due to QTcF prolongation. QTcF >500 ms (grade 3) by central laboratory was 3% in the Q arm; no grade 4 QTcF occurred. Q-treated pts post-HSCT had a similar AE profile to those overall. Conclusions: This report confirms the survival benefit observed with single-agent Q compared with SC in pts with R/R FLT3-ITD AML and the favorable Q safety profile, providing evidence of meaningful clinical benefit in pts who have few options. These results are paradigm changing in the R/R FLT3-ITD AML treatment setting. In the absence of additional oxygen, thin films of tungsten oxide (WO3) were prepared on ITO conductive glass substrates by radio-frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering. The effects of sputtering power, working air pressure, substrate bias voltage and substrate temperature on the surface morphology, microstructure, optical properties and electrochromic (EC) performance of the films were systematically investigated. The research shows that the sputtering power of 80-100 W can ensure a moderate deposition rate of ∼10−2 nm/s and help to obtain nondense films. Similarly, the working air pressure of 1.0 Pa also leads to the deposition of loose films, which benifits for the improving of optical transmittance and EC performance of WO3 thin films. The applied substrate bias has little effect on the optical properties, but it will degrade the coloring and/or bleaching efficiency of WO3 thin films and greatly reduce their optical modulation. When the substrate temperature rises to 600 °C, the film begins to crystallize and exhibits a rods-patterned porous structure, which leads to a small increase in the optical modulation.

The formation of supercavitation after a high-speed projectile enters water has a decisive impact on the underwater ballistic and penetration of the projectile. In this study, Ansysfluent19.0 simulation software is used to study water entry of a chosen projectile at velocities of 300, 400, 500, and 600 m/s. The underwater cavitation characteristics, trajectories, and flow-field characteristics are analyzed for a 5.8-mm caliber conical flat head projectile, as well as for t wo other projectiles of the same caliber and different head shapes — conical cone head and elliptical flat head — entering water vertically at the same velocities. The attenuation rate of water entry velocity increases with the increase of velocity. Within first 3ms, the velocity attenuation rate of the conical flat-head projectile with a water entry velocity of 600m / s is 55.6 %, while the velocity attenuation rate of the projectile with a water entry velocity of 300m / s is only 16.3 % within 3ms. Among the head shapes considered, the conical flat head projectile is the most stable for vertical water entry. The stability of an elliptical flat head projectile is worse, and the trajectory stability of a conical cone head projectile is still worse

ABSTRACTAnalytical results obtained from detailed Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS), Rutherford Backscattering Spectrometry (RBS), Auger analysis, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) of ∼ 2000Å TiSi2/n+ polysilicon interfaces are reported for thermally annealed silicide samples and silicide samples subjected to further high temperature processing. The LPCVD polysilicon was heavily POCI3 doped at 900°C and TiSi was formed by rf sputtering 1000Å Ti and forming the silicide using ?wo successive thermal anneals at 600°C and 800°C in forming gas resulting in a silicide sheet resistance R of 1.45 Ω/□. The high temperature process stability of the silicide – polysilicon interface was investigated by systematically stressing the polycide at process temperatures in the range of 700° C to 1100° C. The silicide was stable for temperatures up to 900° C; however, significant degradation in the silicide sheet resistance, phosphorus, silicon, and titanium redistribution, and agglomeration and film breakage of TiSi2 were observed at higher process temperatures.

Electrochromic (EC) materials have been widely studied in energy-saving smart windows due to their reversible control of optical performance under electric fields. Novel tungsten oxide-poly (3, 4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (WO3-PEDOT) core–shell inverse opal (IO) films are obtained by electrochemical polymerization of PEDOT onto WO3 IO templates. The WO3 IO templates are prepared through the electrodeposition of WO3 into the voids of a polystyrene (PS) colloidal crystal, followed by calcination to remove the polystyrene microspheres. The designed microstructure and chemical composition of the WO3-PEDOT IO films are determined by SEM, XRD, XPS and Raman spectroscopy. The WO3-PEDOT IO films exhibit promising optical contrast (~52% at 600 nm and ~77% at 1020 nm), indicating their bifunctional potentials in both visible and near infrared (NIR) region modulation. The WO3-PEDOT IO films also show excellent EC properties of much shorter response time (6.7 s for coloring and 5.8 s for bleaching) and superior cycling stability than that of the bare WO3 IO. These results suggest that the synergistic effect between the WO3 IO core and PEDOT shell may greatly increase the electrolyte accessibility to active sites and improve the interaction between the inorganic/organic interfaces to obtain enhanced EC performance.

Bioinsumos are governed by Federal Decree no. 10. 375 of May 26, 2020, which uses in its attributions, bioinsumption is considered the product, process or technology of plant, animal or microbial origin, intended for use in the production, storage and processing of agricultural products, in aquatic production systems or planted forests, which positively interfere in the growth, development and response mechanism of animals, plants, microorganisms and derived substances and that interact with products and physicochemical and biological processes. The bioinputs compatibility test was performed using the fungus Beauveria bassiana (Bals.) Vuill., strain PL63 (minimum of 1 x 108 viable conidia/ge and Isaria fumosorosea CEPA ESALQ-1296 (min. of 2.5 x 109 viable conidia/mL) at a dose of (500 gr/ha) associated with the insecticide based on Bifenthrin + Carbosulfan (600 mL/ha). In the field, the experiment was conducted in Sitio Santa Maria in the Municipality of Bandeirantes-PR located between the coordinates 50º37'63" WO and 23º15'79" S. Data collection was performed over a period of 4 months, with 1 crop in the management of corn culture. Soil analysis was performed (0 to 20 cm depth). The work for the evaluation of the fungus and insecticide, being carried out in the field, when the plants presented in the phase V2, V4, V6. The evaluations took place at 3, 7, 10, 14 days, after each application, total area considered (m2). The experimental design used was randomized blocks with 4 repetitions, with 15.75 m² plots (2.25 x 7) and spacing of 45 centimeters between rows, constituting 6 treatments, totaling 24 plots.

At the moment the Faculty of Architecture in Delft counts over 3000 students. Yearly 600 first year fresh students were admitted until September 2011. A numerus clausus has already reduced this number to 450 and seems to work as a preventative measure. The current Delft agenda for the revision of the BSc curriculum is a triple one. The actualization of the ‘building assignment’ in the contemporary perspective of the profession is the first reason for reviewing the programme. Sustainability and the shifted economic situation are changing the upcoming practice in scale, strategy and programme. Virtual techniques and division of labor (specialization) are developing topics. The second reason for reflection is about shaking up ‘design education methodology’, which could be considered as periodical maintenance. The third and in fact leading reason for change comes from the political pressure to improve the ‘study success ‘ of our students. In the Netherlands only 20 % of the university grade students in technology succeeds to obtain the diploma for the three years BSc in four years’ time. The situation at our faculty is even worse: 17%. The aim is to improve this percentage up to 70%. The BSc curriculum will be restructured thoroughly from September 2013. A national fund to promote and improve academic education in technology (WO Sprint) gave us the opportunity to carry out a comparative study on the curricula of schools of architecture as a mirror for our programme. Since 30 % of our MSc programme is composed of international students an European perspective is obvious. Moreover, the final attainment level of the curricula is becoming a European matter. For the comparison we decided to select schools of architecture which are comparable to ours: education into a Bachelor of Science (not a Bachelor in Arts), number of students and culture. The questions we hope to answer are: What are the generalities and particularities, the similarities and differences of curricula in Architecture? Which is the main content of the curricula? What is the main structure of the study programme? Which are the main (didactical) principles structuring the programme? Special attention is given to the content, structure and organisation of design education. Curricula are complex matters. Most course programmes are a result of ‘faculty tradition’ and the backgrounds are not always explicit: for this comparison the principles were mainly interpreted from practice. Data were collected from a questionnaire, course-descriptions, visitation reports and interviews with visiting teachers and international students studying in Delft. The curricula are mapped in diagrams, providing a very clear visual overview . The similarities and differences between schools of architecture are presented by a series of polarities as a range, structured in three categories: profile, programme structure, didactical principles.

La presente investigación aborda una problemática existente entre la región sur de Jalisco y la región norte del estado de Colima, generada por parte de las empresas productoras de queso al verter indiscriminadamente su lactosuero residual directamente al drenaje, ocasionando una contaminación de los recursos hídricos, un daño a los ecosistemas así como a la flora y fauna dependiente de los mismos; además que se desperdicia un residuo con un potencial económico para las mismas empresas productoras. Como solución a este problema se propone darle un valor comercial a esos residuos, planteando la elaboración de un nuevo producto mediante los procesos de fermentación alcohólica y láctica producida en el lactosuero, que le otorga al mismo, nuevas condiciones químicas, físicas y sensoriales. El proyecto se dividió en dos etapas, la primera consistió en la formulación de seis diferentes bebidas a base de lactosuero, las tres primeras elaboradas a partir de la fermentación con gránulos de kéfir, suero, sacarosa y miel en diferentes concentraciones, y las tres últimas fermentadas con Kluyveromyces marxianus-Saccharomyces cerevisiae y como sustrato una mezcla de suero lácteo, sacarosa y miel, de estas seis formulaciones se eligieron las dos que mejores características organolépticas obtuvieron, a partir de las cuales en la etapa dos del proyecto se tomaron como base para la formulación de dos nuevas bebidas, las cuales fueron: Tkéfir (Lactosuero + Gránulos de kéfir + Sacarosa), TK. marxianus (Lactosuero + K. marxianus-S. cerevisiae + Sacarosa); las fermentaciones se realizaron bajo las mismas condiciones, la única variante fue el tiempo, debido a que la fermentación lactosuero /Kluyveromyces marxianus a los siete días se le adicionó Saccharomyces cerevisiae y se dejó fermentar una semana más para que cumpliera con las características deseadas, y la de lactosuero/kéfir solo necesitó cuatro días, siendo la bebida que presentó mejores características. Las bebidas fermentadas que se desarrollaron presentaron un contenido de etanol en entre 2.5 y 2.9%, proporcionando un grado alcohólico menor que el que contienen las bebidas alcohólicas refrescantes (4.5-6.0%), con un aporte de proteína mayor de 3 g / 100 ml y sin grasa. Estas bebidas fueron aceptadas por el panel de evaluadores, por lo que representan un producto refrescante y a la vez nutritivo que podría contribuir a mejorar la dieta de los jóvenes y adultos.
