Анотація:
Several studies primarily investigate the influence of environmental, social, and governance on firm performance in a developed country where markets have matured, and investors are aware of corporate social responsibility activities. Therefore, studies in developing countries are still rare and mixed. This study examines the effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) information on firm performance in ASEAN developing countries. We observed companies in ASEAN developing countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam) during 2010-2020. The information on ESG score and ROA as a proxy for firm performance measures ESG. Regression test results showed that ESG has a positive effect on firm performance. We also found that three components of ESG, environmental, Social, and Governance, positively affect firm performance. Robustness test results showed that overall ESG information, environmental information, and social initiatives affect the firm’s market performance (Tobin’s Q). Research originality in this study proves that developing countries have a positive effect between ESG disclosure and company performance. ESG, in the long term, would build effective governance and increase shareholder value. Background: Leptospirosis is a zoonotic disease that occurs due to interactions between agents, hosts, and the environment. Leptospira bacteria can infect humans through wounds on the skin and mucosa of the body. This study aims to examine the effect of injury history and contact risk factors on the incidence of leptospirosis by using meta-analysis. Subjects and Method: This was a systematic review and meta-analysis study carried out using the PICO model. P: Adults. Intervention: injury and contact. Comparison= no injuries and no contact with risk factors. Outcome: Leptospirosis. The meta-analysis was conducted by systematically reviewing articles from Google Scholar, PubMed, Springer Link, and Science Direct. Search keywords “Wound OR Lession AND Leptospira”, “Risk Factor Exposure AND Leptospira”, “Risk Factor AND Leptospira AND adjusted odds ratio”. The inclusion criteria used were full paper articles from 2002-2022 using Indonesian and English. The study design used was observational and the analysis used multivariate adjusted odds ratio results. Articles were collected using the PRISMA diagram and analyzed using the Review Manager 5.3 application. Results: Meta-analysis included 22 cross-sectional and case-control studies from Indonesia, India, Iran, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, France, Germany, Kenya, Tanzania, Australia, Fiji, British Virgin Islands, Mexico, Jamaica, Peru, and Argentina. Leptospirosis increased with history of injury (aOR= 3.51; 95% CI= 2.94 to 4.19; p<0.001) and contact with risk factors (aOR=1.82; 95% CI=1.25 to 2.65; p=0.002). Conclusion: History of injury and contact with risk factors increases the risk of developing Leptospirosis. Biodiversitas 20: 819-823. Conservation management in the buffer and transition zones of Biosphere Reserves play an important role in ensuring enhanced core zone protection. Tambolongan and Polassi are two islands located in the administrative region of South Sulawesi, Indonesia, and part of the transition zone area of UNESCO’s Taka Bonerate-Kepulauan Selayar (TBKS) Biosphere Reserve (BR). These two islands can be considered as some of the most populated islands in the region, containing a variety of human activities. These human activities, such as the ever expanding agriculture and the building of human habitation have put pressures toward ecosystem and species conservation in the BR. Bird are often the focus of conservation efforts, due to their roles in supporting the ecological functioning of their habitats. This study aims to provide baseline data of bird diversity in Tambolongan and Polassi that can be used as a proxy indicator of ecosystem health and input to conservation strategies within the BR area. A Visual Encounter Survey (VES) method is used to examine bird diversity index. Results from the observation recorded a total of 29 species were found in both islands, with 5 listed as protected species and 3 categorized as migratory species. The comparison between the two islands showed that the bird diversity index (H’) differs only slightly (H’Tambolongan=2.98; H’Polassi=2.71). This study provided the initial attempt in understanding the role of habitats or land cover types, guild types and human interferences in determining the diversity of bird population - and related ecosystem health - in the area. Such knowledge is essential in providing the information necessary for sustainable management practices. This work represents the first study to inventorize avian species diversity in the transition zone of TBKS BR.

Lokananta varieties are one of the best vegetables in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to find out the influence of Giberlin on the formation of red onion buds for superfruit in vitro. Анотація:
The aim of this study is to analyze the profitability level of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods companies in the Retail and Distributor of Medicines (D111), Rental and Distributor of Food (D112), and Processed Food Distributors (D222) subsectors listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in the period 2017-2021 based on Du Pont system analysis. The Du Pont system is an analysis method used to show the interaction between Net Profit Margin (NPM), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Return on Asset (ROA) and Equity Multiplier in determining the value of Return on Equity (ROE). This type of research is descriptive quantitative using the Du-Pont analysis method. The method used in this study is judgement sampling. Types of data and data sources use secondary data derived from financial statements published by companies that are samples of research and data from the Stock Exchange of Indonesia. Analysis shows that PT. Tigaraksa Satria Tbk has the highest profitability as a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods subsector distribution company. The company's ROE from 2017 to 2020 is higher than the industry average, by 2019 has increased and decreased by 2021. PT. Wicaksana Overseas International Tbk became a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods subsector distribution company with the lowest profitability performance of the five samples, based on analysis carried out by the company's ROE from 2017 to 2020 experienced a decline below the industry average and by 2021 a decrease slightly above the industrial average.

The purpose of this redesign is to increasing the quality of services provided into movie theater, also to attracting public interest of Indonesian movie world by serving a good facilities and accommodation of watching movie activities. The process of collecting information data by doing an observation to site location at the movie theater, and do an interviewed with one of the staff, also one of customer at the movie theater. The result of those observation will be analyzed using qualitative analyses method and glass box method by listing what people’s demand as for services and facilities should be provide at movie theater, to figuring what rooms that needed, as well as theme and concept for the design. The conclusion is Futuristic Entertainment applied as theme and concept at theater’s interior redesign has a hope will become the new face of the Movie Theater as of facing high business competition among movie theater industry also to calibrate the Industry 4.0 era where internet based at most of life aspect, nowadays. Key words : movie theater, movie, watching, services, public, Futuristic, Entertainment, redesign, interior A B S T R A K Bioskop merupakan salah satu tempat sarana hiburan untuk menonton film yang dirancang memberikan kualitas audio-visual yang baik dan kegiatan pelayanan dalam meningkatkan kenyamanan dalam menonton film. Tujuan dari redesain interior ini untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan pada bioskop, serta meningkatkan minat masyarakat untuk menghargai perfilman di Indonesia dengan memberikan fasilitas dan sarana yang baik dalam kegiatan menonton film. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi ke lokasi site bioskop tersebut dan melakukan wawancara pada salah satu pegawai bioskop, serta salah satu pengunjung dari bioskop. Hasil dari observasi tersebut kemudian di analisa menggunakan metode analisa kualitatif dan metode desain glass box, dengan mendata pelayanan yang harus disediakan pada area bioskop, untuk mengetahui kebutuhan ruang, serta tema dan konsep dalam redesain interior. Simpulan redesain pada interior bioskop menggunakan tema dan konsep Futuristic Entertainment, yang mana dari tema dan konsep tersebut akan memberikan wajah baru untuk menghadapi persaingan bisnis bioskop yang semakin tinggi dan sekaligus menyesuaikan era Industry 4.0 sekarang, dimana Internet based pada hampir segala aspek kehidupan. Kata Kunci: bioskop, film, menonton, pelayanan, masyarakat, Futuristic, Entertainment, redesain, interior. PENDAHULUAN Di digital era seperti sekarang ini, menonton film menjadi salah satu pilihan sarana hiburan bagi masyarakat untuk melepas penat maupun kebosanan akan rutinitas sehari-hari. Cerita-cerita dalam film dapat diadaptasi dari novel, dokumentasi ilmiah, autobiografi, sejarah dari sebuah peristiwa, maupun dari kisah nyata seseorang yang menarik untuk diangkat ke dalam sebuah film, sehingga sebuah film pun juga dapat menjadi media visual informasi bagi masyarakat luas. Sekarang ini bioskop sebagai tempat pemutaran film-film sudah banyak tersebar di seluruh wilayah Indonesia. Hal ini dilihat dari jumlah layar bioskop yang semakin bertambah, sekaligus berpengaruh pada pertambahan jumlah penonton Indonesia. Menurut data GPBSI (Gabungan Pengusaha Bioskop Indonesia), jumlah layar bioskop di Indonesia terus bertambah dalam dekade terakhir, pada tahun 2008 tercatat ada 574 layar, kemudian terus bertambah menjadi 1518 layar pada 2017, bertambah lagi menjadi 1774 pada 2018, dan hingga pada per 13 Mei 2019, bertambah 87 layar, sehingga total jumlah menjadi 1861 layar bioskop. Di Kota Madiun sendiri terdapat 2 bioskop yang beroperasi yaitu New Star Cineplex (NSC) Timbul Jaya Plaza dan CGV*Blitz, dari kedua bioskop terdapat perbedaan dari segi fasilitas, jumlah pengunjung bioskop, dan juga desain yang diterapkan. Berdasarkan data survey pengunjung pada Goggle Trend yang diambil dari bulan September – November 2019, menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan jumlah pengunjung antara bioskop NSC Timbul Jaya Plaza Madiun dengan bioskop CGV*Blitz, dimana jumlah pengunjung di bioskop NSC Timbul Jaya Plaza cenderung lebih rendah dari bioskop CGV*Blitz. Data perbadingan jumlah pengunjung bioskop [Sumber : Google Trend, 2019] Kurang nya pembaharuan dari segi fasilitas dan desain pada interior bioskop NSC Timbul Jaya Plaza Madiun juga menjadi salah satu faktor sepinya pengunjung pada bioskop. Keadaan eksisting bioskop NSC Timbul Jaya Plaza Madiun [Sumber : dokumentasi pribadi, 2020] Maka dari itu di dalam makalah ini akan dibahas redesain interior dari bioskop dengan menggunakan tema dan konsep Futuristic Entertainment yang bertujuan memberikan suasana baru pada bioskop untuk menghadapi persaingan bisnis bioskop yang semakin ketat seiring pertumbuhan jumlah layar bioskop yang semakin meningkat setiap bulannya dan era Industry 4.0 yang semakin canggih, selain itu pembaharuan dari segi desain dan hiburan dapat menarik perhatian pengunjung untuk datang ke bioskop NSC ini. METODE PENELITIAN 2.1 Metode Pengumpulan Data Terdapat dua data pada metode ini, yaitu Data Primer dengan dilakukan pengumpulan informasi-informasi melalui wawancara pada salah satu staff bioskop dan salah satu pengunjung bioskop. Data Sekunder dengan mengumpulkan data informasi dari berbagai sumber referensi akurat. Metode ini diyakini dapat memberikan data yang akurat, dan dapat memberikan gambaran jelas permasalahan pada bioskop. 2.2 Metode Analisa Data Metode Analisa Data pada redesain ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Metode dengan pendekatan kualitatif merupakan metode penelitian yang di gunakan untuk meneliti pada populasi atau sampel tertentu, pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument penelitian, analisis data bersifat deskripsi. Metode penelitian kualitatif sering disebut metode penelitian naturalistik karena penelitianya di lakukan pada kondisi yang alamiah (natural setting). Dimana untuk hasil desainnya lebih bersifat umum, fleksibel serta berkembang dan muncul dalam proses penelitian. Kesimpulannya desain hanya digunakan sebagai asumsi untuk melakukan penelitian sehingga desain harus bersifat fleksibel dan terbuka. 2.3 Metode Desain Metode yang digunakan pada redesain ini yaitu metode glass box, dimana metode yang menggunakan parameter yang terukur, sesuai dengan fakta dan telah dianalisisa secara mendalam serta sistematis. Sehingga metode desain menggunakan sistem ini hasilnya diharapkan mampu rasional sehingga memenuhi standar kenyamanan. HASIL DAN PEMBAHASAN 3.1 Lokasi Site Bioskop ini berlokasi di Jalan Pahlawan Kav. 46 – 48, Mangu Harjo, Kota Madiun. Untuk akses ke bioskop tersebut sangatlah mudah, karena bangunan Timbul Jaya Plaza sendiri berada tepat dipinggir jalan raya dan berada di tengah kota Madiun sebagai pusat perekonomian kota tersebut sehingga mudah untuk ditemukan. Dari lokasi tersebut dapat dihasilkan data berupa eksisting dari bioskop tersebut. 3.2 Tema dan Konsep Menentukan tema dan konsep merupakan langkah awal dalam meredesain suatu interior. Hal ini akan memberikan gambaran yang jelas suatu ruangan dari segi bentuk, warna, dan material yang akan digunakan, sehingga memiliki visual yang menarik. Tema yang diaplikasikan pada redesain ini adalah Futuristic, Futuristik sendiri merupakan tema desain yang berorientasi pada masa depan, dengan banyak menggunakan bentukan yang tidak lazim, dan jarang diterapkan pada furniture pada umumnya. Dalam tema futuristik yang akan diterapkan pada redesain ini memiliki karakteristik dan ciri-ciri tersendiri, seperti tampilan artistik namun memiliki bentuk sederhana, elegant modern, dan dengan nuansa ruangan yang penuh dengan permainan lampu. Konsep ini mengambil elemen dari bioskop ini sendiri yaitu sebagai tempat hiburan yang sekaligus memberikan kesan dan pengalaman terbaik untuk menonton film bagi pengunjungnya. Dari tema dan konsep akan muncul suatu skema warna yang akan banyak diterapkan pada interior, yaitu cyan, hitam dan putih. Untuk material, banyak akan diterapkan menggunakan bahan stainless steel, aluminium, dan kaca tempered glass. 3.3 Scheme Color Dalam setiap konsep desain ruangan, terdapat warna-warna yang akan secara dominan muncul dalam pengaplikasiannya. Pada tema ini akan memiliki skema warna : Gambar 4. Lantai Area lantai bioskop yang akan diterapkan adalah lobby bioskop dan area ruang teater. a) Lobby Gambar 5. Lantai Karpet [Sumber : dokumentasi pribadi, 2020] Pada bagian lobby bioskop, diaplikasikan karpet sebagai lapisan penutup lantai, dan aksen garis lampu untuk futuristic look yang mengelilingi area ruangan lobby, selain sebagai aksen, penggunaan garis ini berfungsi sebagai garis emergency ketika keadaan darurat terjadi, yang akan menyala untuk menuntun pengunjung ke arah pintu keluar. b) Ruang Teater Gambar 6. Hidden lamp pada tangga selain berfungsi sebagai penunjuk jalan bagi penonton, sekaligus sebagai lampu emergency, penunjuk jalan ketika dalam keadaan darurat. Dinding Area yang akan diterapkan yaitu pada dinding lobby, ruang tunggu dan ruang teater. a) Lobby Gambar 7. Ceiling/Plafond Area yang diterapkan yaitu pada lobby, ruang teater, dan lorong Exit Ruang Teater 2. a) Lobby Gambar 10. Penggunaan ceiling ini untuk memberikan tambahan pencahayaan dan menambah estetika futuristik pada ruangan. b) Ruang Teater Gambar 11. Selain itu ceiling pada area ini sedikit diberikan bentuk lengkungan sebagai pengatur akustik audio ruangan. c) Lorong Exit Teater 2 Gambar 12. Plafond area lorong exit teater 2 [Sumber : dokumentasi pribadi, 2020] Area lorong exit diaplikasikan plafon kaca dengan ceiling yang tinggi, ukuran ruang lorong yang sempit, tidak ingin memberikan kesan claustrophobic pada pengunjung sehingga penggunaan plafond kaca memberikan kesan ruang yang lebih lapang, dan banyak penggunaan permainan lampu untuk memberikan daya tarik pada pengunjung. Furniture pada konsep ini banyak menggunakan LED strip yang mengikuti garis bentuknya, selain sebagai penambahan pencahayaan pada ruangan, sekaligus menambah estetika pada ruangan. Ruangan Bioskop Salah satu ruangan yang diterapkan tema dan konsep ini yaitu area lorong exit teater 2. Gambar 14. Fasilitas Bioskop Fasilitas ini sebagai pelayanan yang diberikan oleh bioskop kepada pengunjung yang datang. a) Penggunaan teknologi terbaru pada bioskop. (Proyektor NEC NC3200S) Pengaplikasian proyektor versi ini akan memberikan kualitas gambar video 2K – 4K dan kontras warna yang jernih, sehingga akan memanjakan mata para penonton film. b) Audio berkualitas Dolby Atmos Pengaplikasian audio berkualitas Dolby Atmos akan memberikan kualitas suara yang lebih jernih, dan tampak realistis, sehingga memberikan pengalaman menonton yang menyenangkan. c) Fasilitas pendukung yang berbasis Smart Technology Pengaplikasian fasilitas yang telah mendukung Smart Technology selain mempermudah aktivitas agar lebih efisien, juga akan menarik pengunjung untuk datang, mencoba fasilitas baru yang belum pernah mereka coba. d) Online Based and Self-Service activity Pada era industry 4.0 sekarang ini, hampir segala aspek kegiatan sehari-hari barbasis pada internet, dan online dimana hal ini dimaksudkan untuk mempermudah kegiatan masyarakat agar lebih efisien. Dari keunggulan tersebut juga dapat diterapkan pada fasilitas hiburan publik seperti pada bioskop. Pemesanan tiket film tidak perlu lagi harus datang mengantri ke bioskop, cukup memesan tiketnya via online. Jika pun tidak sempat memesan tiket online bisa langsung memesan tiket on the spot, dengan self-service pada ticket box, yang telah disediakan layanan pemesanan tiket. Selain pelayanan pemesanan tiket film, kegiatan ini juga akan diterapkan pada pemesanan makanan di cinema café. Pengunjung dapat memesan makanan secara online melalui aplikasi sebelum menonton, ataupun on the spot. Sistem pembelian on the spot memiliki 2 cara, yaitu memesan sebelum menonton, atau ketika sedang menonton film. Pesan makanan sebelum menonton dapat dilakukan di cinema café dengan sistem self-service, pemesanan ketika sedang menonton dapat dilakukan melalui layanan customer service yang di install pada setiap kursi penonton, layanan ini terhubung langsung pada cinema café yang nantinya akan dibawakan makanan/minuman nya ke dalam ruang teater oleh pegawai cinema café. Material Bahan Material yang digunakan disesuaikan dengan tema dan konsep yang akan diterapkan pada bioskop. Font pada “New Star” dan “Cineplex” dirubah untuk mendukung tema menjadi lebih modern. Bentuk bintang dari logo sebelumnya masih tetap dipertahankan dan sedikit diberikan pembaharuan dari segi warna logo, untuk identitas diri dari bioskop tersebut. Tiket Film Gambar 19. Setiap tiket film terdapat gambar poster dari film yang ingin ditonton, bertujuan sebagai kenang-kenangan dan menambah daya tarik pecinta film bioskop yang gemar mengoleksi tiket film yang sudah ditonton. Ruang Teater [Sumber : dokumentasi pribadi, 2020] SIMPULAN Bioskop New Star Cineplex (NSC) Timbul Jaya Plaza kota Madiun, bioskop ini berada di area pusat perbelanjaan (mall), dimana NSC merupakan salah satu tenant yang menjadi pendukung perputaran ekonomi pada area mall tersebut. Sayang, kurangnya minat pengunjung untuk datang ke bioskop, sedikit menghambat perputaran tersebut. Persaingan akan bisnis tempat pemutaran film semakin ketat, dimana setiap bulannya jumlah bioskop semakin bertambah dan hal ini menjadi tantangan bagi pengusaha bisnis bioskop untuk tetap mempertahankan usahanya. Maka dari itu, dari pihak pengelola harus tetap terus melakukan inovasi, perawatan, dan peningkatan fasilitas yang terdapat pada bioskop. Selain itu penerapan konsep Futuristic Entertainment ini bertujuan memberikan fasilitas hiburan yang bernuansa masa depan, sehingga dapat mengimbangi persaingan bisnis tempat bioskop yang semakin berkembang setiap bulannya. Apalagi di era Industry 4.0 sekarang ini dimana segala aspek didasari oleh teknologi internet dan online harus dapat diterapkan dalam segala hal, termasuk pada bioskop sebagai media hiburan masyarakat untuk memperluas jangkauan nya. This research aims to describe the moral value of positive thinking aspects in the novel Selamat Tinggal by Tere Liye, aspects of helping others, aspects of true love, aspects of helping the weak selflessly, aspects of mutual respect and aspects of knowing each other in the novel. The type of research used by the author in this study is descriptive research, the problem formulated must be feasible to raise, contain scientific value, and not be too broad, qualitative research is a result of analytical procedures. Using descriptive qualitative research, the author can describe and describe the moral values in the novel Selamat Tinggal by Tere Liye. The source of research data is where the data is found, the data source of this research is sourced from a novel entitled Selamat Tinggal by Tere Liye published in 2021 in its seventh printing, totaling 360 pages. This novel has a pictorial blue cover, published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama Publisher. The author bought this novel at the Gramedia bookstore in Jambi city. Data collection techniques by reading source books related to literary theory, as well as source books related to moral values, the author looks for the novel Selamat Tinggal by Tere Liye, the author reads carefully the novel, and the author marks the findings in the form of quotes related to the moral values contained in the novel. In this study, the author can conclude that the novel Selamat Tinggal by Tere Liye consists of 32 values in which there are moral values using Wicaksono's theory.

Анотація:
Tumbuhan jambu biji (Psidium guajava L var. pomifera) adalah salah satu tanaman obat-obatan yang sering dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat khususnya di Indonesia. Tumbuhan yang termasuk ke dalam famili Myrtaceae tersebut memiliki khasiat sebagai antidiare, antioksidan, antiinflamasi, dan antimikroba. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder yang terdapat dalam daun jambu biji merah (Psidium guajava L. Var. Pomifera). Berdasarkan pengujian fitokimia yang telah dilakukan, menunjukkan bahwa daun kering positif mengandung senyawa steroid, saponin, fenol, dan tanin. Biodiversitas 23: 3091-3098. Sweet corn (Zea mays convar. saccharata var. rugosa)is one of the important horticultural crops. Increasing sweet corn production during the dry season can be achieved by applying plant growth regulators (PGR). PGRs such as auxin, gibberellin, cytokinin, ethylene, and other phytohormones control various physiological and chemical processes in plants. The PGR is often used for the engineering process of plant cultivation technology, especially during environmental stress conditions. This study aimed to determine the effect of PGRs (auxin, gibberellic acid, salicylic acid, and paclobutrazol) on sweet corn growth and yield during the dry season. The results showed that the application of PGR significantly affected sweet corn growth, yield, and yield quality during the dry season. The auxin significantly increased plant height and leaf length, whereas paclobutrazol and salicylic acid significantly increased the number of cobs and total soluble solids of sweet corn, respectively.

This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions about the application of occupational safety and health with work attitudes on employees of PT. Beton Perkasa Wicaksana Jakarta. The research method used is quantitative research method, with data collection technique that is random sampling technique. The research subjects were field employees of PT. Beton Perkasa Wicaksana totaling 60 employees. Subjects were given a scale of 113 items, consisting of 51 items on the perception scale about the application of occupational safety and health and 62 items on the work attitude scale. Data were analyzed using product moment correlation and simple regression. By using SPSS 13.0 with the first result is r count (0.458) > r table (0.330) with a significance level of 1%. Both results from simple regression analysis were 0.00 < 0.05. The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between perceptions of the application of occupational safety and health with work attitudes with a contribution of 21% of perceptions about the application of occupational safety and health to work attitudes. Based on the results of the study, one suggestion that can be given is for further researchers to include other variables outside of the variables in this study such as motivation and discipline. <p> </p><p><strong> Article visualizations:</strong></p><p><img src="/-counters-/edu_01/0875/a.php" alt="Hit counter" /></p>

Biodiversitas 22: 2743-2749. Fruit development influences the metabolites contents and then its biological activity, however, such report is still limited in goldenberry (Physalis peruviana L.). This work aimed to evaluate metabolite variability and its correlation to antioxidant activity in several stages of fruit maturation in goldenberry originating from Sumedang, Indonesia. The research was laid out in a completely randomized design with 6 different treatments in terms of fruit maturation stages. Only fresh and pest-disease-free fruits collected from local farms were prepared for several metabolites assay, i.e pH, TSS, lycopene, ?-carotene, polyphenol, flavonoid and its antioxidant activity. The statistical analysis resulted in a significant improvement of all fruit metabolite variables in response to fruit maturation process, except polyphenol. Compared to the oldest fruit stage of S6 (orange berry covered by full wilt white calyx), the youngest fruit of S1 (green berry covered by fresh green calyx) increased the pH, TSS, lycopene, ?-carotene and flavonoid by about 7%, 67.5%, eight-fold, nine-fold and two-fold, respectively. Pearson correlation analysis showed a significant and positive correlation between all metabolite variables (except polyphenol) to antioxidant activity of goldenberry fruit.

Short Communication: Leptospirosis control based on eco-social factors: Modeling combination in Demak, Central Java, Indonesia. Biodiversitas 21: 5818-5828. Ecological habitats and niches of leptospirosis as one of the environmental-based diseases need to be explored in an in-depth study based on eco-social analysis. The objective of this study was to develop an integrated leptospirosis control model based on eco-social factors. The location of the study was in Demak districts, Indonesia. Geographic coordinate data of cases during 2008-2018 were determined from the survey results of District Health Offices. Climatic and environmental data were obtained from Indonesian Meteorological, Climatological, Geophysical and Geospatial Information Agencies. Data on social factors were obtained by interviewing diseased persons using in-depth interview. Recorded cases and corresponding point location environmental data were then analyzed using ArcGIS and MaxEnt programs. Social network analysis was used to describe the factors involved in efforts to control leptospirosis and the relationship. The model predicted that the intervention was biological control, which had the highest leverage to reduce the morbidity rate. Health workers played an important role in efforts to control leptospirosis, although they were supported by self-supporting roles of the community. Management and control of natural and socio-environmental risk factors are very important. Combination model based on eco-social approach would be a useful tool to design and implement appropriate leptospirosis control.

Preharvest drought stress is one of the limiting factors that may affect the quality of the harvested yield. This study aimed to evaluate the grain physical characteristics, milling percentage, and nutritional quality of two varieties of Job’s tears (Coix lacryma-jobi L.) in response to preharvest drought stress. Two varieties of Job’s tears were used in the present study, namely ma-yuen (cultivar Watani Wado)and stenocarpa (cultivar Watani Kiara Payung) at Ciparanje research station (6.9164° S, 107.7717° E) from July 2018 (dry season) to January 2019 (rainy season). A water-sufficient condition was achieved by irrigating the plant once a day, while a water-deficient condition was formed by the irrigation every 3 days using a sprinkler system. The results showed that preharvest drought stress caused a significant reduction of seed size in both varieties. However, the stenocarpa was the only one with a significant reduction in milling yield due to its long seed length. In terms of nutritional quality, ma-yuen showed no significant response to preharvest drought, while stenocarpa showeda significant gain in protein and calcium. This finding opened the high potential of stenocarpa variety to be used both as an ornament, just like recent usage, and also functional food.

Job’s tears or hanjeli (Coix lacryma-jobi L.) is a functional food crop with less popularly cultivated and longer life cycle than paddy and maize, so that it is potentially exposed to drought stress in the dry season in tropical areas. This study aims to evaluate the physiology, phenology, and drought susceptibility index lack of both Job’s tears varieties under water deficit stress. The study was conducted in quantitative method, by using 2 populations of ma-yuen and stenocarpa varieties which were treated with two levels of watering treatment during the vegetative phase (6 to 12 weeks after sowing), i.e. every day watering and every three days watering. Observations were made on physiological traits, phenology, and drought susceptibility index. The results showed that water deficit decreased stomatal conductance and chlorophyll content, but it could increase electrolyte leakage and proline content. Increasing proline content had a significant correlation with crop yields improvement. Flowering time was prolonged as the effect of drought stress in both varieties. Based on drought susceptibility index, stenocarpa was more tolerant than ma-yuen. However, some farmers might still cultivate the ma-yuen due to the soft seed shell character, therefore, this study finding could be used as a basis for developing further plant irrigation techniques for sensitive variety amid a prolonged dry season.

Due to their high diversity and productivity, their socio-economic value to coastal communities and their crucial role in coastal protection, coral reefs belong to the most important marine ecosystems in the world. Understanding and protecting coral reefs has never been so important, given the unprecedented anthropogenic pressures they face. Indonesia holds 18% of the world’s coral reefs and is home to some of the richest marine biodiversity on the planet. However, with over 17,000 islands scattered across 86,700 km2, marine monitoring and conservation remains challenging. The Banda Sea (Maluku, Indonesia) ecoregion ranks as a high priority for marine conservation. The present study reports on the first observations of coral spawning at the Banda Islands from 2016 to 2019. Ad-hoc opportunistic monitoring was carried out to identify patterns of coral spawning. Our results suggest the sharpest temperature increases and full moon timing have the biggest influence on the month and day of coral spawning, whereas the tidal cycle influences the hour when gametes are released. Coral spawning peaks were observed to occur in two seasons, April and October-November, 5-7 days after full moon and 2-3 hours after sunset during falling tides. The presence of two spawning seasons may provide coral reefs at the Banda Islands with an advantage to recover from potential impacts, such as storms, bleaching or destructive fishing.

Biodiversitas 24: 4549-4557. The use of a drone to census waterbirds has been increasingly popular. However, study on the waterbird’s behavioral response to the drone was still limited. The objective of this study is to reveal the response of the breeding milky stork Mycteria cinerea to the drone as a new and safer tool for collecting breeding behavior data. Factors that influence the success of the observation by using a drone were also identified and a set of recommendations was formulated. The research was conducted during the breeding season of the milky stork in Pulau Rambut, a small island in Jakarta Bay, between December 2022 and March 2023. Three types of drones were tested in the pilot study, and eventually, a small manually piloted drone (Syma X25 Pro) was found to be more appropriate for behavioral study. The bird response to the drone (no, neutral, temporary, negative response) was observed through a combination of various distances and angles of the drone to the nest trees. Despite the weather obstacles, this study suggested that the milky stork mostly (17 out of 20 trials) showed no response or neutral response to the drone. Some temporary responses were detected due to some accidental events, including a sudden launch of the drone. In conclusion, a small-size, easy-to-maneuver drone that produces low noise and mild wind can be used by using a manual pilot mode to study the breeding behavior of milky storks or other similar waterbird species.

The application of coffee agroforestry has several advantages, such as increasing the cycle of nutrients and soil organic matter as well as improving soil physical properties. However, there is still an information gap related to the interaction between coffee plants and shade plant roots. This study aimed to evaluate coffee agroforestry on available water capacity (AWC) and root length density (RLD). The research was carried out at the smallholder coffee plantation in Dampit District in four shade types (coffee-open, shaded with Musa sp., shaded with Gliricidia sp., and shaded with L. leucochepala). Soil and root samples were taken at three depths (0-20 cm, 20-40 cm, and 40-60 cm) and at two distances (near the coffee stems and between the coffee shade). The variables observed were AWC, RLD, soil organic C, soil aggregate stability, and soil penetration resistance. The result was coffee plants with shade trees increased AWC value and root density compared to coffee-open. The type of shade significantly affected RLD, where shaded with Gliricidia sp., and shaded with L. leucochepala were better than coffee-open. This indicates that there was no root competition between coffee plants and shade trees. However, shaded with Musa sp. had lower RLD than coffee-open. Soil depth had a significant effect on the AWC value and root length density of coffee plants, where the most AWC values ??and coffee root distribution were higher at a depth of 0-20 cm.

Sempu Island is designated as a nature reserve which is surrounded by a fairly high diversity of coral reefs. Since the high activities of fishing ports near this island, the anthropogenic pressure seriously became a threat to the biodiversity of coral reefs in this nature reserve. Continuous observation of reef fish is an important activity to monitor the coral reef health condition. Since then, bimonthly monitoring using an underwater visual census has been conducted from October 2021 to May 2022. Based on these observations obtained that the average reef fish abundance was in the "low" category, namely 0.516 ind/m2 in October 2021, 0.527 ind/m2 in December 2021, 0.522 ind/m2 in February 2022, and 0.378 ind/m2 in May 2022. The abundance of reef fish obtained consisted of three categories: indicators, targets, and majors. Overall, the Pomacantridae family, from the major fish category, has the largest abundance compared to other families. While the range of coral coverage was 6-21.3%, which was included in the "bad" category. There was a relationship with a value of 0.462 (medium) between coral cover and fish abundance. The abundance of reef fish at 21.4% was influenced by coral cover, while the remaining 78.6% was influenced by other factors outside of the tested variables. The decline in reef fish abundance in 2015-2022 can be caused by a decrease in coral cover in the Sempu Strait.

The walking shark (Hemiscyllium halmahera) commonly referred to as bamboo shark, is a shark species that belongs to the Hemiscyllidae family which is endemic in North Maluku, and Indonesian waters. These Hemiscyllium species are generally confined to the Australian-New Guinea region, save a specie which originates from Halmahera, an Indonesian island. Ever since its discovery, sufficient information on its existence has been largely unavailable. Hence, the purpose of this study is (1) to assess the morphology, using meristic measurements and length-weight relationship, and (2) to determine the molecular characteristics through DNA barcoding, phylogenetic reconstruction, and genetic diversity. The samples used in this research were obtained from Halmahera Archipelago, North Maluku, including Halmahera, Tidore, Ternate, Maitara, and Guraici in several expeditions between March 2017 and January 2018. 36 individuals in total were measured for morphometric parameters including Total Length (TL), Standard Length (SL), Head Length (HL), Body Circumference (BC), and Body Weight (BW). Out of a total of 36 sharks, tissue samples were obtained from 32 individuals for molecular identification. After the required measurements were obtained, all individuals sharks were released back to their habitat safely. Equations of linear regression were used to analyze the relationship between length and weight. Morphometric measurements indicated that the average total length of the walking shark samples obtained, were not more than 75± cm for both male and female specimens. The length-weight analysis revealed a positive allometric growth pattern in H. halmahera species, where weight was gained faster than an increase in length. The results of the DNA fragment length analysis from all samples were 793-bp. All 32 tissue samples identified as H. halmahera consisted of 3 samples from Ternate Island, 14 samples from Maitara Island, 9 samples from Guraici Island (South Halmahera), 10 samples from Central Halmahera, and 2 samples from Tidore Island. These results confirmed that DNA subsequence analysis indicates that H. halmahera is different from those sequences extracted from Genbank in the Australia-New Guinea region. This study successfully identified H. halmahera based on their morphological and molecular characters, and has therefore contributed to international genetic database (Barcoding Of Life Database-BOLD) for further studies.

Scurf (Monilochaetes infuscans) is a common sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam.) tuber skin discoloration disease, that can cause significant yield loss, especially when tubers are destined for the export market. Despite the economic importance of the disease in West Java, Indonesia, there is a dearth of information on the distribution and severity of scurf disease. To address this gap, a disease survey was carried out across 28 fields in six districts (Bandung, Sumedang, Garut, Kuningan, Cianjur, and Bogor) of West Java from 2016 to 2018. Scurf disease prevalence was recorded by counting the number of infected tubers from 15 plant samples per field. Disease incidence was recorded when at least one infected tuber per plant was observed. Severity of scurf diseases was estimated by measuring the percentage of infected surface area, using AutoCAD map 2019. Results show that scurf was distributed across all locations surveyed. Disease incidence ranged from 1.68% (Cikadu) to 27.56% (Cilembu) while disease severity ranged from 7.92% (Cikadu) to 57.00% (Cilembu). Based on potato dextrose agar (PDA) culture plates, 68.57 % of tubers were infected with various fungi. Among them, M. infuscans (32.14 %) was the most prevalent and most widely distributed pathogen associated with the scurf disease across sweet potato fields in West Java, Indonesia. To effectively manage the disease and improve farmers’ income, it is imperative to establish effective and sound integrated disease mitigation strategies based on the results of this survey.

Introduction: Serratus Anterior Plane (SAP) block can be used as part of multimodal analgesia, reducing the need for additional analgesia for 24 h postoperatively. The SAP block (SAPB) is easy to apply with a safe technique and low side effects. This study analyzes serratus anterior plane block as postoperative analgesia in Modified Radical Mastectomy (MRM) surgery by assessing the level of pain, side effects, and complications. Methods: This study was a double-blind randomized control trial (RCT) conducted on patients scheduled to undergo MRM, at Dr. Kariadi Hospital Semarang during August-October 2022. A total of 44 patients were enrolled, and divided into two groups; 22 patients in each group. The treatment group received SAPB and was compared with the control group of morphine 0.1 mg/kg, in terms of the numeric pain rating scale, at 4, 8, 12, and 24 h postoperatively, time and number of analgesic rescue doses, the incidence of PONV and pruritus within 24 h postoperatively. Independent T-test, Mann-Whitney, Chi-square, and Fischer tests were performed to analyze the data. P < 0.05 was considered significant. Results: The mean NRS at 4, 12, and 24 h postoperatively was lower in the SAPB group than in the control group (2.73 ± 0.77 vs. 3.23 ± 0.53; 1.77 ± 0.61 vs. 2.32 ± 0.48, and 1.45 ± 0.59 vs. 2.09 ± 0.61). The difference was statistically significant, e.g., P = 0.017, P = 0.003, and P = 0.001, respectively. Time to the first request of rescue analgesia was prolonged in the SAPB group than in the control group (398.86 ± 140.6 vs. 100.91 ± 10.3; P = 0.000). The mean rescue analgesic dose in the SAPB group was lower than in the control group (3.59 ± 1.56 vs. 8.55 ± 2.4; P = 0.000). The control group showed a higher incidence of PONV (68.2% vs. 18.2%, P = 0.01). There was no significant difference in the groups regarding the frequency of pruritus (P = 0.073). Conclusion: Serratus anterior plane block reduced pain significantly up to 24 h postoperatively compared to the control group. The patients in this group needed rescue analgesia after longer duration and needed lower doses of rescue analgesia. There was lower frequency of PONV than the control group. The extensification of sub-optimal lowland farming strategy is expected to support the increase of rice production. Based on the efforts, the development of tolerant rice varieties to Fe-toxicity to be used in the swampy land area is one of the approaches for increasing rice production. Currently, promising rice lines that are tolerant to Fe-toxicity has been developed using molecular breeding approach for inland swampy area. The objective of this research was to evaluate the performance of 15 promising rice lines that have various genetic backgrounds in inland swamp in Sorong, West Papua. The field experiment was conducted during the second rice planting season (August 2018 to February 2019) to evaluate the performance of the promising rice lines to the morpho-agronomic performance under the lowland swamp conditions. The trial was laid out in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) consisting of 4 m x 5 m square plots, with 25 cm x 25 cm planting distance and 3 replications. The results revealed that most of the lines had good performances on the Fe-toxicity tolerance, based on bronzing, root length, and biomass characters. The G1 line had the best performance on yield component characters, especially the panicle length. This line also had the highest grain yield (6.15 ton.ha-1) followed by the next promising line of G7 (5.92 ton.ha-1). The genetic performance of these lines showed that they contained IRT (Iron Regulation Transporter) alleles that contributed to partitioning the Fe tolerance mechanism.
