Повний текст джерелаKnowledge, and more precisely, knowledge management, is a strategic issue that can provide a significant competitive advantage in a competitive and dynamic economy. However, this field has an undeniable interdisciplinary character. Indeed, it is treated by multiple research areas such as information science, computer science, psychology, economics or engineering sciences.The research presented in this thesis occurred in a CIFRE context (French Industrial Conventions). The initial research topic was born from the collaboration between the "Collaborative Design" team of the G-SCOP laboratory (Grenoble laboratory dedicated to the Sciences of Design, Optimization and Production) and the company BASSETTI, editor and integrator of the TEEXMA® software solution.As part of the work presented in this manuscript, our goal has been to study how to model knowledge transfer processes for a better understanding of how these processes are implemented within organizations. The modelling tool proposed in this thesis relies in part on the reuse of existing models found in the literature and on a participant observation methodology.The research carried out was conducted following an intervention research methodology. To answer this question, we were able to test our modelling tool through several case studies. These studies allowed to validate the first part of our hypotheses. After this validation phase, we sought to evaluate the appropriation of the use of our modelling tool after knowledge management trainings. In parallel, we have included our modelling tool in a more global approach to diagnose situations of knowledge transfer. This global approach was then applied to two case studies. Finally, we reused the previous approach. This time, the modelling tool was used to analyse uses related to computer tools

Повний текст джерелаAs the mutation of Humanities and Social Science supported by the disruption of information science paradigms and communication, knowledge organization systems to those worn by knowledge societies, it‟s important to reconsider the relationship between individuals, communities and technology in a learning process environment for knowledge capitalization. The objective of this thesis is to propose a hybrid model of knowledge capitalization supported by knowledge management in Benin context.The aims of this proposal, is to improve the results of the re-use of business knowledge. So we will start with a questioning of the existence of an endogenous knowledge capitalization model which can boost the development of West African enterprises in general and Benin in particular.To verify the possibility of the application or transposition of this traditional model to the realities of the business, we focuse on the factors that may affect the efficiency of the transfer process for capitalization. These factors were identified in our literature review in which we found multitude of techniques and theoretical approaches to understand the phenomenon. However, in this research, we are divided between two dominant schools of thought in this subject area that are constructivism and positivism. In this momentum, we start from an anthropological perspective towards the establishment of a knowledge capitalization system in West Africa. Inspired by the way the Yoruba Nago communities and Fa perceive corporate life and the transmission of knowledge (what knowledge transferred, for which tools and the impact of this transfer on the community).To achieve this goal mention above, we will conduct a qualitative exploratory approach to the various players in the Fa community of practice and also in some enterprises in Benin. This through the implementation (adaptation) of a knowledge capitalization device in the company, taking into account cultural and anthropological realities whose case is presented in this thesis by an empirical study

It is what explains the important investment on the subject on behalf of all economic actors. In this context, the Knowledge Management appears like an answer permitting to organize and to master the knowledge and expertise’s acquired in intern to act in external. The knowledge management has for goal to have a lasting information system and an informational dynamics within the organizations. Our topic drove us to a long observation of the preoccupations of the actors of the community Knowledge Management. We studied their main questionings in the different channels of communication; we regrouped their waiting thereafter in two big questions that constitute our questions of research indeed. This research aims to reach two main objectives : The 1st objective is to understand how to put a gait Knowledge Management in place in an organization and to know if this gait is the same for any type of organization. Otherwise what the factors of contingency are to take in consideration? The 2nd objective: once this gait setting up, is. her evolutive, changing and incremental or she remain static? These two objectives constitute the two main parts that we treat in this thesis. To answer this problematic, we chose to use a methodological pluralism leaning on the one hand on methods of informational intelligence, on the other hand on a quantitative survey with the help of a questionnaire and finally on a qualitative survey via interviews

Повний текст джерелаThe goal of this study is to understand how organizations operating in a complex market are able to produce, leave sediment, use, share and make available their knowledge. The focus is on arts & crafts creative industries as still insufficiently investigated organizations, although the proposed theme is increasingly perceived. This study presents two significant results achieved thanks to a literature review and a qualitative field research. The first result is the identification of a unprecedented interest of academic studies for the issue of knowledge and its transfer relevant to arts & crafts creative industries. The second result focuses on the relationship between knowledge transfer and creation of artifacts of excellence. In this second part of the study, the craftsman is a critical factor in the process of knowledge transfer as holder of a knowledge which constitutes and nurtures the sole and the exclusive value of the products. In the present dissertation the knowledge of these craftsmen emerges as a key resource that must be valued and transmitted as lever of development of production systems based on quality, excellence and differentiation.

Повний текст джерелаPLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Systems allow traceability of information and facilitate the reduction of products development cycle. Besides the aspect related to information management, they aim at bringing together all technical data needed to develop new products and also they contribute to improve business processes. Our PhD work define a methodology of PLM system deployment that incorporates the knowledge capitalization dimension. Based on a business processes formalization, elements of knowledge are extracted and used to enrich the data model. This model revolves around two axes: an "information" axis and a "knowledge"axis. Each axis is devided into four steps: identify, model, use and evaluate. The identification stage is to define the data model of the system and activities requiring specific business knowledge. The modeling phase is to configure the system to integrate the defined model in the PLM system but also to formalize extracted tacit knowledge. Then comes the user through the use of the system. Finally, we propose to evaluate the system from product, process and organization modeling but also from generated knowledge within the system. The case study of a process of bidding for the Marmillon SAS company which is a subcontractor in the field of plastics, specialist of injection and extrusion processes for automotive parts allow to validate our approach

Повний текст джерелаThe data available on the Web are generally of two kinds: (1) non structured data or semi structured data, which are difficult to exploit automatically; or (2) structured data, dedicated to a specific usage, which are difficult to reuse for a different application. The Linked Open Data is a Semantic Web application facilitating access, share ability and alignment of data. There are many data available on the Web, but these are not always published using the Linked Open Data theory and thus need to be transformed into knowledge bases. An innovative methodology is proposed in this work: one that transforms several sources simultaneously, not sequentially. This methodology merges several data sources oriented by domain design patterns and defines the expected domain representation using the upper part of an ontological module. A process chain enriches this module with elements from the sources: syntactic transformation of the sources, alignment, identification of equivalent elements for the construction of candidates, computation of the candidates’ trust scores and candidate filtering. This work is based on the following hypothesis: if an element appears in several sources then the possibility that it belongs to the studied domain is increased. Several functions were defined in order to compute the consensual trust score of a specific candidate by bringing out such characteristics as the consensus between the sources or the connectivity between the elements within a given candidate. A second hypothesis is put forward: to obtain a valid design, an element must be part of one candidate only. This hypothesis resulted in the definition of the notion of incompatibility between the candidates. The extraction of the candidates that do not share elements can then be considered, which made the experts’ validation task easier. To evaluate the proposals, three experiments were conducted. The first one dealt with the taxonomic classification of wheat. With the assistance of three experts, this experiment made for the analysis of the validation of the generated candidates. The second experiment, still in the same domain, lead to the evaluation of the time an expert saved using the notion of incompatibility during the validation of the candidates. As for the last experiment, the data from an evaluation campaign of alignment systems were used. These data had to be adapted to evaluate the generation of the candidates and the definition of the consensual trust score on a large data set. These three proposals were implemented in a new reusable and configurable tool: Muskca. This tool allows a multi-source fusion for the generation of a consensual knowledge base. This methodology was applied to agriculture, which allowed the creation of a knowledge base on plant taxonomy. The knowledge base will be used to represent the observations of pest attacks on crops along with pest treatment techniques. Not only will this knowledge base help the publication of the available data but it will also allow the annotation of the various documents that will be used, so as to improve agricultural practices

Entendendo a religião como uma expressão da cultura popular, representativa do conhecimento das classes populares, questiono a Teoria da Secularização da sociedade moderna, a partir da análise do fenômeno evangélico pelo qual passa o Brasil atualmente. Através destes conhecimentos, utilizando como recorte o ensino de ciências e de forma específica, a tensão entre o ensino do criacionismo e do evolucionismo, estabeleço as possibilidades de superação do preconceito de saberes existente na escola pública e apresento as possibilidades da mesma tornar-se o espaço de um conflito saudável de saberes que, através da dialogicidade, da circularidade de saberes e da dupla ruptura epistemológica, permita um deslocamento do paradigma cartesiano para um paradigma pautado no pensamento complexo, que resulte na construção compartilhada de conhecimentos na escola pública.
The scientific knowledge constitutes itself as hegemonic in the human history excluding from the validity circles other ways of knowledge. Understanding the religion as a expression of popular culture, representative of popular groups knowledge, I question the Secularization Theory of modern society, from analyzing the evangelic phenomenon that Brazil is passing through today. From this knowledge on, using the science teaching as a cutting, and in specific way the tension between the creationism and the evolutionism teaching, I set up the possibilities of overcoming the knowledge prejudice that exists at public schools and show up the possibilities that these schools become a place for a wholesome conflict of knowledge that, through dialogue, knowledge circularity and the epistemological double rupture, allow a movement from the Cartesian paradigm to a paradigm based on a complex thought, resulting into the shared building of knowledge in the public school.

Повний текст джерелаThe general issue we addressed in this thesis is the challenge of knowledge elicitation in Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS). In the context of this work, we are interested in ITS teaching problem solving methods. Teaching methods for solving problems consists in teaching students how to think about the problem before starting its resolution. In a given field, such a method is based on a categorization of problems. Knowing to recognize the class of a problem enables students to choose the resolution technique associated with this class. However, designing such ITS is tedious and costly, and specially require expertise in the application domain and in programming.In order to reduce the design cost of these ITS and to enable an author (for example a teacher) to be able to elicit knowledge needed without programming, we propose an interactive knowledge elicitation process. This process is implemented through the design of an authoring tool: AMBRE-KB. For that, we first propose meta-models for the knowledge to be acquired. This knowledge is not an expert knowledge, but knowledge such as we would want that they work at the end of the learning. Next, we propose a knowledge acquisition process based on these meta-models, which enable the author to be assisted in the elicitation process enabling him/her to build specific knowledge models for a given domain.We conducted two experiments to evaluate the knowledge acquisition process and its implementation in the AMBRE-KB tool. The first relates to completeness. The aim is to verify, for a given domain, whether the knowledge models generated by AMBRE-KB enable the solver to solve problems. The aim of the second experiment is to measure the utility and usability of AMBRE-KB. The results of both experiments are satisfactory

Повний текст джерелаMy thesis aim the automatic integration of new Web services in a knowledge base. For each method of a Web service, a view is automatically calculated. The view is represented as a query on the knowledge base. Our algorithm also calculates an XSLT transformation function associated to the method that is able to transform the call results in a fragment according to the schema of the knowledge base. The novelty of our approach is that the alignment is based only on the instances. It does not depend on the names of the concepts or constraints that are defined by the schema. This makes it particularly relevant for Web services that are currently available on the Web, because these services use the REST protocol. This protocol does not allow the publication schemes. In addition, JSON seems to establish itself as the standard for the representation of technology call results

Повний текст джерелаIn this paper Mona Hatoums installation Corps étranger is discussed via a post structuralized method based on associative and semiotic comparisons with vanitas, a post-modern self-portrait, and as a representative for modern visual art. The analyze touches upon pornography, science fiction and the quest for scientific conquest in outer and inner space. Theoretical references are Foucault, Freud, Lacan, Barthes, Dolar, Said and Virilio. Hatoum makes the observer a voyageur with the aid of the latest medical technology, endoscope, which gives her the opportunity to make an introvert self-portrait when she films her own throat and rectum. But at the same time she makes the portrait of us all. I interpret this as a fictious science with postcolonial ideas, and the reference to science fiction is close at range. Hatoum takes the role as the other, the woman or the stranger and might flirt with Jülich interpretation of Corps étranger as a sign of the visual cultures colonisation of the human body’s inside, that is a conscious reference to sexuality, ethics and the search for knowledge and power.

Повний текст джерелаNowadays, the Web is formed by two types of content which are linked: structured data of the so-called Semantic Web and users’ contributions of the Social Web. The ViewpointS approach was de-signed as an integrative formalism capable of mixing these two types of content while preserving the subjectivity of the interactions of the Social Web. ViewpointS is a subjective knowledge repre-sention approach. Knowledge is represented by means of viewpoints which are micro-expressions of individual semantics tying the relation between two Web resources. The approach also provides a second level of subjectivity. Indeed, the viewpoints can be interpreted differently according to the user through the perspective mechanism. In addition to a top-down approach where collective semantics of a group is established by consensus, collective semantics of a ViewpointS community is emerging from the exchange and confrontation of viewpoints and evolve fluidly. In our frame-work, resources from the Web are tied by viewpoints in a Knowledge Graph. From the Knowledge Graph containing viewpoints and Web resources a Knowledge Map consisting of “synapses” and re-sources is created as a result of the interpretation and aggregation of viewpoints. The evolution of the ViewpointS synapses may be considered analog to the ones in the brain in the very simple sense that each viewpoint contributes to the establishment, strengthening or weakening of a syn-apse that connects two resources. The exchange of viewpoints is the selection process ruling the synapses evolution like the selectionist process within the brain.We investigate in this study the potential impact of our subjective representation of knowledge in various fields: information search, recommendation, multilingual ontology alignment and methods for calculating semantic distances

Повний текст джерелаThe dissertation, which investigates the description of the novel and considers an answer by interrogating an information problem (offering a theoretical model of representation, a basis for the conception and creation of tools for a carefully thought out navigation within fiction), carries out a reflection about the role of literary fiction in the construction of bodies of knowledge and, by extension, of a culture. These reflection and experimentation take place in the school context of the “lycee d’enseignement general” [mainstream education high school] (definition of the status of the novel in the way that it is used in education programs and objectives, analysis of the notion of literary reading in high school) and through the analysis of a body of texts: study of La Mysterieuse Flamme de la Reine Loana / Umberto Eco, 2004, French translation, Paris, Grasset et Fasquelle, 2005, combined with the study of an unpredictable collection of texts about the theme of the Shoah. Since the object of study is the novel, the links between Information and Communication Sciences and semiotics are approached in a new light: construction of a semiotic theory (definition, setting up of a formal language, choice of a representation system) made suitable to the object of study by clarifying the conditions of meaning production, which implies a hybridization of the fields (Information and Communication Sciences and literary analysis). The theoretical elements for a representation model of fiction are developed. Definitions of the novel, of literary narrative fiction, of information, of fictiology (a new field of research opened up by the study) and of critical fictiological information, complemented by a description of positioning of this research in the field of Information and Communication Sciences, frame the reflection. A chapter tackling literature and the notion of memory allows for a delineation of the links between novel and representation of reality. For this purpose, the notions of text, reference, and context are defined. Finally, the title of the dissertation is explained through the description of the imaginal faculty, and of the mediation function attributed to the novel. To close this part of the study, drafting a panorama of the proposed and employed tools helps operate a state of the art of fiction classification, reinforced by the definition of an open information research and a study of the notion of meaning in the handling of fiction. Analyses in the practical field include a report of investigations on reading practices conducted in the contexts of secondary education and of the training of ‘Education Nationale’ information librarians. Analyzing bodies of texts allows the problem of visible reality in the novel to be interrogated. This research tests out a fictiologic ontology by examining the novel as document and by attempting a formalization of the camps literature. The proposition of a theoretical model to be experimented is concretized by the development of a system of organization of information and literary knowledge. A reflection on the current technical environment justifies the choices considered, the propositions and solutions offered. By presenting a fictiological information literaty, an extension of media information literaty, the dissertation ends with the description of fictiological mediation anchored into a renegotiation of information spaces and typologies, investigating participatory and collaborative practices

This thesis aims to investigate how the school reflects the worldviews of Quilombola s communities into the school curriculum. The social relevance of this work comes from the understanding that we are the country of ethnic and cultural diversity. However, there is a portion of the population whose social reality is still partly historically invisible to policy makers and Academia. The hypothesis that is examined here is that the curriculum in these Quilombolas schools in Paraná represses the voice of the Quilombola s people, makes their traditional knowledge a folklore and ignores the social dynamics of these communities. The survey had three main investigative steps to focus the view of the researcher about the defined problem: documentary, bibliographical and fieldwork. This does not mean that they were made sequentially and in a stratified way but simultaneously, as the object of study is revealed in its totality and complexity, requiring from the researcher a careful and systematic look. The methodological work was the ethnographic qualitative study in order to choose the descriptive and analytical work, so that it was possible to identify the causes that lead to the hiding of Quilombola s knowledge in the school curriculum. The theoretical bases for this dissertation were sought at Arruti, Bhabha GEERTZ, HALL, SACRISTÁN, Santomè, Munanga, among others, that allowed us to study the field and analyze how the traditional knowledge of Quilombola s community is included in the school curriculum. The results indicate that the curriculum of the two Quilombola s schools surveyed represses the voice of Quilombola s people, makes their traditional knowledge a folklore, ignores the social dynamics of these communities and reveals the perception of Quilombola s leaders that the Quilombola s school belongs to the Quilombola s community
A presente Tese em por objetivo investigar de que maneira a escola traduz as concepções de mundo das comunidades quilombolas para o currículo escolar. A relevância social desse trabalho advém por entender que somos o país da diversidade étnica/cultural, entretanto, existe uma parcela da população brasileira, cuja realidade social ainda é, em parte, historicamente invisível aos olhos dos gestores públicos, bem como da academia. A hipótese que se examina aqui é a de que o currículo nessas escolas quilombolas do Paraná sufoca a voz dos sujeitos quilombolas, torna folclóricos seus saberes tradicionais, ignora a dinâmica social destas comunidades. A pesquisa contou com três etapas investigativas fundamentais para focalizar o olhar do pesquisador acerca do problema definido, quais sejam: documental, bibliográfica e de campo. No exercício metodológico fez-se opção pelo método etnográfico de cunho qualitativo, escolha realizada a fim de que o trabalho descritivo e analítico possibilitasse identificar as causas que provocam o ocultamento dos saberes quilombolas no currículo escolar. Os aportes teóricos que fundamentam a presente Tese foram buscados em ARRUTI, BHABHA, GEERTZ, HALL, SACRISTÁN, SANTOMÉ, MUNANGA, entre outros, que nos permitiram entrar em campo e conhecer de que maneira os saberes tradicionais quilombolas são contemplados no currículo escolar. Os resultados obtidos indicam a possibilidade de afirmar que, o currículo das duas escolas quilombolas pesquisadas sufoca a voz dos sujeitos quilombolas, torna folclóricos seus saberes tradicionais, ignora a dinâmica social destas comunidades. Resumo: Nossa pesquisa, "Fazer ver e fazer falar na saúde coletiva: enunciado e visibilidade em tempos de biopoder", pretende entender a constituição do campo da saúde coletiva a partir de um problema que não se restrinja as produções discursivas tipicamente territoriais, e nos remeta mais diretamente ao aparato de produção do saber. Entendemos o saber como uma formalização efetuada por meio de elementos constituintes mais difusos (pois podem atravessar vários territórios discursivos sem, no entanto, se deixar descaracterizar), mais dificilmente detectáveis (pois, por estarem presentes em diversos campos discursivos, tais elementos portam uma grande capacidade em diferenciar-se, isto é, podem repetir-se sem perder certa raridade) e que se articulam por meio de relações não diretamente determinadas, mas determináveis (relações impostas pelo poder - enquanto biopoder - que, no nosso caso, pode ser entendido pela estratégia do "fazer sobreviver", mais que do "fazer viver"). Não buscamos, portanto, falas específicas dos campos tradicionalmente apresentados como correspondentes ao campo maior da saúde coletiva, (ciências sociais, epidemiologia e gestão e planejamento), para dispormos delas em termos de acordos e desacordos gerenciados por incompatibilidades e compatibilidades epistemológicas. Nosso objetivo concentra-se, por outro lado, em trabalhar o "entre", em estabelecer quais tendências de saber perduram entre tais campos, quais eixos conformam as falas e as verdades destes campos, para podermos, então, pensar no fator que promove a convivência de territórios tão diversos sob o nome de Saúde Coletiva. Mas, para tanto, foi preciso escolher um eixo central, uma espécie de função problemática sobre a qual pudéssemos articular os enunciados e as visibilidades produzidos ao seu redor: o suicídio. Resolvemos o perigo da dispersão com a divisão do eixo "suicídio", em três outros "sub-eixos" de aglutinação de saber: a detecção do risco, o levantamento das causas e a proposição da prevenção. Assim, para entrarmos na discussão da constituição do campo da saúde coletiva, escolhemos o suicídio como linha principal (função enunciativa primitiva) para, em seguida, traçar as formalizações locais (derivadas da função primitiva) de saber (epidemiologia e gestão/planejamento enquanto localidades), processo viabilizado pela segunda divisão em três outros eixos (ou "sub-eixos) de investigação (o risco, a causa e a prevenção). Isso nos insere novamente no objetivo original, que é a questão de como se produz a coesão do campo, apesar da sua grande diversidade. Em outras palavras, com a pesquisa, conseguimos tangenciar as relações de poder que permeiam a produção de saber no campo maior da saúde coletiva, mostrando as tendências mais ou menos fortes, os pontos de contágio de sentido conceitual, as linhas enunciativas dominantes e as formas de visibilidade que imperam e criam a emergência de práticas e saberes
Abstract: Our research: Collective Health: Making See and Making Speak Out - Proposition and Visibility in Times of Biopower - is meant to understand how the field of collective health is made up, from a problem that is not to be restrained to typically territorial dialectical productions and more straightforwardly refer us to the knowledge production apparatus. We understand knowledge as a formalization carried out through more diffuse constituting elements (for they can get across several dialectical fields without however letting themselves lose their character), more difficult to be detected (since by being present in several dialectical fields such elements bear a great ability to differentiate themselves, i.e., they can be repeated while preserving some level of uniqueness) and that achieve articulation through relations that though not directly determined) are still determinable (relations imposed by power - as biopower - which, in our case, can be understood by a making survive strategy rather than a making live strategy).Therefore, we do not pursue specific speeches in those fields traditionally presented as corresponding to the extended field of collective health (social sciences, epidemiology and management & planning), to have them available in terms of agreements and disagreements administered by epistemological compatibilities and incompatibilities. On the other hand, our objective is centered on working the between, in defining which knowledge trends are long-lasting among such fields, which axes conform the speeches and the truths of those fields, hence making it possible for us to think up the factor that promotes conviviality in so diverse territories under the name of Collective Health. But for such, it was necessary to choose a central axis, a sort of problematic function over which we would be able to articulate the propositions and visibilities produced around it: suicide. We had the dispersion hazard resolved by dividing the suicide axis in three other sub-axes of knowledge agglutination: risk detection, survey of causes and the prevention proposition. Consequently, to enter into the discussion of constitution of the collective health field we have chosen suicide as the main line (primitive propositional function) and next proceeded with outlining the local formalizations (deriving from primitive function) of knowledge (epidemiology and management/planning as localities), a process whose feasibility was made possible through another division in three more axes (or sub-axes) of investigation (risk, cause and prevention).That brings us back to the original objective which is the issue of how field cohesion is produced notwithstanding its large diversity. In other words, with this research we could touch the power relations that permeate knowledge production in the extended field of collective health, showing trends that are more or less strong, the points of contamination in a conceptual sense, the dominant propositional lines and the forms of visibility that dominate and bring about the emergence of practices and knowledge

Повний текст джерелаCharacterizing the quality of smells is a complex process that consists in identifying a set of descriptors best summarizing the olfactory sensation. Generally, this characterization results in a limited set of descriptors provided by sensorial analysis experts. These sensorial analysis sessions are however very costly for industrials. Indeed, such oriented approaches based on vocabulary learning limit, in a restrictive manner, the possible descriptors available for any uninitiated public, and therefore require a costly vocabulary-learning phase. If we could entrust this characterization to neophytes, the number of participants of a sensorial analysis session would be significantly enlarged while reducing costs. However, in that setting, each individual description is not related to a set of non-ambiguous descriptors anymore, but to a bag of terms expressed in natural language (NL). Two issues are then related to smell characterization implementing this approach. The first one is how to translate such NL descriptions into structured descriptors; the second one being how to summarize a set of individual characterizations into a consistent and synthetic unique characterization meaningful for professional purposes. Hence, this work focuses first on the definition and evaluation of models that can be used to summarize a set of terms into unambiguous entity identifiers selected from a given ontology. Among the several strategies explored in this contribution, we propose to compare hybrid approaches taking advantages of knowledge bases (symbolic representations) and word embeddings defined from large text corpora analysis. The results we obtain highlight the relative benefits of mixing symbolic representations with classic word embeddings for this task. We then formally define the problem of summarizing sets of concepts and we propose a model mimicking Human-like Intelligence for scoring alternative summaries with regard to a specific objective function. Interestingly, this non-oriented approach for identifying the quality of odors appears to be an actual cognitive automation of the task today performed by expert operators in sensorial analysis. It therefore opens interesting perspectives for developing scalable sensorial analyses based on large sets of evaluators when assessing, for instance, olfactory pollution around industrial sites

Based on multiple foundations, the EU’s external education measures are substantially more important than they may appear. The EU’s external education policy is, at the same time, mainstreamed by its cross-disciplinary nature, and integrative by its contribution to the deepening of the European project. The EU’s external education policy is not confined to sporadic measures and was based from the outset on the use of the flexibility clause and connectivity of the EU’s areas of expertise. It is built on holistic concepts and coherent goals pursued within the framework of external long-term strategies, which implied the EU’s enhanced competence in the field of education, beyond that of support established in the Treaty. The progressive extension of the EU’s scope of competence in the field of education is closely linked with the higher added value of the EU in the management of a knowledge-based economy’s impact on education services and its effective contribution to international measures in the field of education for all. This research aims to gather and analyse legal, technical, socio-political and financial elements, which offer conclusive evidence of the existence of the EU’s external education policy and present its main features. It is hoped this will lead to an adjustment of the EU’s competences and powers, so as to take into account the development of institutional practice that cannot be overlooked for the sake of legal certainty, transparency and effectiveness of EUlaw

Повний текст джерелаIn our study, we are seeking to establish the relationship between the dimensions of language and vision as core entities of human knowledge through Merleau-Ponty’s work. It is about trying to understand how the linguistic and the visual aspects form a ground of human knowledge. Through the study of the evolution of Merleau-Ponty’s principles from his first to his second period and through the analysis of some of his concepts such as the flesh (chair), the relation being-object, operative intentionality, the overlapping (empiètement), the chiasmus, the freedom, the sense, the dimensionality, etc. we will try to shed light on how language and vision dissociate from truth to reopen themselves to emptiness and indetermination. Thus, in our approach to the sphere of language, we will focus on how the work of our thinker helps to undermine the so-called pre-dialectical moments of language. This stage is not only reached by his famous rehabilitation of the phenomenon of the body but also throughout the silence, the subdivision of the word and the establishment of the sense as a co-birth (co-naissance) which gives rise to a profoundly neutral language. One the other hand, while dealing with vision we will review, besides of the overcoming of certain visual archetypes, its promiscuous and interstitial nature that leads us to a latent and atmospheric visibility, equally distant from the truth as from the former literality. Both dimensions, will now open to the indetermination, and articulate a knowledge paradoxically split by emptiness and unknowledge.

Повний текст джерелаThe Eschés amoureux, a thirty thousand verse allegorical poem written circa 1370-1380, comes as a response to the Romance of the Rose, notably playing the initial plot on a chessboard. The text can be read in two incomplete manuscripts and is still mostly unedited. It was quickly outshone by its prose commentary, Le Livre des eschez amoureux moralisés, written by Évrart de Conty, King Charles V’s personal physician. The fact that the Eschés amoureux was recently attributed to this very same author pushes the initial poem to the rank of a work that requires (self-)commentaries; the outline of this self exegesis is to be found in one of the verse manuscripts, which comes with latin marginal glosses of major and auctorial importance. The Eschés amoureux connects a narrative project to the transmission of knowledge, inserting within the poem two translations of auctoritates, the ovidian Remedia amoris and the De regimine principum by Giles of Rome. It provides a peculiar fictionalization of knowledge, often setting aside the authoritative part of the discourse and keeping it for a forthcoming commentary. The present dissertation intends to analyze the ways knowledge was conveyed through narrative at the end of the XIVth century; it considers the models involved for this specific text, the miscellaneous items brought together in one single fiction and the part played by the commentary

Повний текст джерелаIn this research, we are interested in the question of sustainability of the use of knowledge management systems (KMS) in companies. KMS are those IT environments that are set up in companies to share and build common expertise through collaborators. Findings show that, despite the rigor employed by companies in the implementation of these KMS, the risk of knowledge management initiatives being unsuccessful, particularly related to the acceptance and continuous use of these environments by users remains prevalent. The persistence of this fact in companies has motivated our interest to contribute to this general research question. As contributions to this problem, we have 1) identified from the state of the art, four facets that are required to promote the perennial use of a platform managing knowledge; 2) proposed a theoretical model of mixed regulation that unifies tools for self-regulation and tools to support change, and allows the continuous implementation of the various factors that stimulate the sustainable use of CMS; 3) proposed a design methodology, adapted to this model and based on the Agile concepts, which incorporates a mixed evaluation methodology of satisfaction and effective use as well as CHI tools for the completion of different iterations of our methodology; 4) implemented the methodology in real context at the Société du Canal de Provence, which allowed us to test its feasibility and propose generic adjustments / recommendations to designers for its application in context. The tool resulting from our implementation was positively received by the users in terms of satisfaction and usages

Повний текст джерелаThe purpose of this research is to better understand the impact of teaching/learning clarinet-playing in small groups in the perspective of individual progress situations validated by the history of instrument pedagogy in French “conservatoires”. It would seem however that group work would better serve the development of learning modes as it expands the learning processes involved in the traditional one-to-one approach. Group work would change the learner’s position as he/she acquires the various (technical, cognitive, esthetic, expressive, declarative, etc.), skills involved in playing a musical instrument. In a context in which the asymmetrical teacher/student relationship often sets the teacher as the sole expert, the group appears as a pedagogical means to establish some balance and better define each person’s role. An array of activities requiring all forms of interaction will encourage collaboration and develop an aptitude to resolve socio-cognitive conflicts, the group thus becomes the place where musical skills are mutually acquired and structured. This analysis is based on authentic teaching of musical instruments and is supported by the analysis of socio-constructivist work carried out in schools. This study therefore combines both the theoretical field of research and the practical experience of teaching, which is fundamental when dealing with the evolution of both pedagogy and the teaching of musical instruments

The two main types of tools, namely the search engine and the recommender system, which are designed to help us explore the Web data, have several problems: (1) in helping users express their explicit information needs, (2) in selecting relevant documents, and (3) in valuing the selected documents. We propose several approaches using Semantic Web technologies to remedy these problems and to improve the access to relevant information. We propose particularly: (1) a semantic auto-completion approach which helps users formulate longer and richer search queries, (2) several recommendation approaches using the hierarchical and transversal links in knowledge graphs to improve the relevance of the recommendations, (3) a semantic affinity framework to integrate semantic and social data to yield qualitatively balanced recommendations in terms of relevance, diversity and novelty, (4) several recommendation explanation approaches aiming at improving the relevance, the intelligibility and the user-friendliness, (5) two image user profiling approaches and (6) an approach which selects the best images to accompany the recommended documents in recommendation banners. We implemented and applied our approaches in the e-tourism domain. They have been properly evaluated quantitatively with ground-truth datasets and qualitatively through user studies

Aiding design and planning is based on the formalization of two kind of knowledge: methodological knowledge that can be used in all kind of design projects and business knowledge that are dedicated to a particular kind of design and/or planning. The first chapter presents a state of the art about coupling system design process and project planning process and gives the problem of our work. Then, two parts deal with design and planning coupling thanks to, on one hand, methodological knowledge, and on the other hand, business knowledge. The first part presents three types of methodological coupling. The structural coupling defines design and planning entities and permits its simultaneous creation of and its association. The informational coupling defines feasibility and verification attributes for these entities and synchronizes its attribute states. Finally, the decisional coupling consists in proposing, in a single dashboard, the necessary and sufficient information to make a decision by the design project actors. The second part proposes to formalize, to exploit and to capitalize business knowledge. This knowledge is formalized with ontology of concepts. Then, two mechanisms are exploited: a case reuse mechanism that permits to reuse and adapt former design projects and a constraint propagation mechanism that allows propagating decisions from design to planning and reciprocally

Повний текст джерелаEmbedded in the field of Information and Communication Sciences, making use of Michel Foucault’s influential work on Discourse and “Power/Knowledge”, this PhD research calls into question the political, social and media treatment of mental disorders which has been renewed by the switch from Psychiatry to Mental Health. The advent of the “mental-health user – citizen”, which can only occur through a new discursive path, needs to take into account the legacy of social representations that affect people living with a mental health condition. This PhD research has elaborated an a posteriori pluri-methodology for the study of social representations of the “Mad”, the “Mentally-ill” and the “Depressed”. Its aim is to examine the hypothesis of a new intelligibility of “madness” through a constructive comparison between the results of a public health survey called “Mental Health in the General Population : images and realities” and the findings of a quantitative and qualitative analysis of three hundred press articles published in the French newspaper Le Monde in either 2005 or 2015. Even if the public health survey results conclude that the “Mad” is confined in the Otherness held back by the Psychiatric “Power/Knowledge” – de facto establishing a close relation with the “Mentally-ill”, the media analysis reveals that “madness” can be an accepted even claimed identity insofar as the medical control and the Psychiatric “Power/Knowledge” ascendency fade away. Thereby, Mental Health can be considered as a new area to which this PhD research gives the name of The Great Landing as to underline that it should be analysed as the antithesis of Michel Foucault’s historical and well-known “Great Confinement”

This choice allows us to avoidthe problematic issue of setting a failure threshold.Our work was based on Case Based Reasoning (CBR) to track the health status of a new componentand predict its RUL. An Instance Based Learning (IBL) approach was first developed offering twoexperience formalizations. The first is a supervised method that takes into account the status of thecomponent and produces health indicators. The second is an unsupervised method that fuses thesensory data into degradation trajectories.The approach was then evolved by integrating knowledge. Knowledge is extracted from the sensorydata and is of two types: temporal that completes the modeling of instances and frequential that,along with the similarity measure refine the retrieval phase. The latter is based on two similaritymeasures: a weighted one between fixed parallel windows and a weighted similarity with temporalprojection through sliding windows which allow actual health status identification.Another data-driven technique was tested. This one is developed from features extracted from theexperiences that can be either mono or multi-dimensional. These features are modeled by a SupportVector Regression (SVR) algorithm. The developed approaches were assessed on two types ofcritical components: turbofans and ”Li-ion” batteries. The obtained results are interesting but theydepend on the type of the treated data

Повний текст джерелаThe objective of this thesis is to analyse the influence of the meaning attributed to school experience and to the relation to learning on the meaning that the secondary school students who enter a work-based learning program (DIMA) place on their orientation. Orientation meaning is studied after the active socialization model of Philippe Malrieu (2003). The population consists of 416 middle school students from the Region Midi-Pyrénées which 217 were referred to DIMA and 199 were schooled in a Preparatory to Professional Training 9th Grade (G9 PFP). All answered a computerized questionnaire during a collective assessment within classroom. A first descriptive analysis, comparing both groups of students, allowed us to study the trajectory and psychosocial characterizations specificities of the DIMA students. A second multivariate analysis based on the DIMA students’ responses only, revealed three types of students with heterogeneous relations to orientation. Six representative students were selected for further study, based on semi-directive interviews. The results show that DIMA students, who mostly come from the working classes, have a specific academic trajectory marked by early difficulties in learning. They are middle-school students that have developed a relation to school in opposition with institutional demands and expectations. They have built a positive representation of DIMA and this orientation generates strong adhesion and a high satisfaction rate. If the commitment to pre-apprenticeship revolves around the wish to break with school alienating past, it is also in the desire to learn differently. Our results show the fundamental influence of family socialization and school acculturation processes in the modulations of relation to knowledge that help make sense of this orientation. This orientation appears as a subjective function allowing the adolescent to overcome the antagonisms and the various conflicts built at the heart of social spaces. DIMA enables a large majority of teenagers to reconnect with a coherent self-image, broadening the space of possibilities and contributing to a “self-project”. The orientation to DIMA represents an anchor between social space and the subject, supporting the personalization process of the adolescent

We suggest a new analytical framework that builds upon the concept of knowledge-based economies and its four pillars – economic incentive and institutional regime, education and human resources, innovation system, and, finally, information infrastructure (ICT) - as conceived by the World Bank. Our thesis mobilizes this concept of knowledge-based economies in order to analyze and evaluate the state of the economy in the Arab region from the independence period to the eve of the revolution in Arab countries ' Arab spring'. Throughout the thesis, we develop several types of analysis and we conclude with an econometric model, that assesses the contribution of knowledge to growth and development in the Arab region

Повний текст джерелаThe present thesis whose problematical emerges from the existence of the socialized terms of sex on the Lebanese social scene, where it aims to find a contribution of its scholar system in the formation of sexual identity among the child students in the primary cycle. So the main objective is to explore the ways in which the scholar institution treats the students of both sexes, that gives rise to their obvious role in the edification of the gender in the students. In this respect, the principal hypothesis supposes that such an identity construction can’t be effected evenly with girls and boys in the classes. At the beginning, the methodic proceedings of the study, based on a pre-inquiry via semi-directive talks conducted with the directors of 18 scholar establishments in south-Lebanon, have revealed in those responsible, the presence of sexual mentality. Further note that during a series of 225 observation sessions of 11 primary classes, made successively in 4 months, we could affirm the presence of teacher-student differentiated effects related to the sex of the latter, while noting an inculpation of teacher’s practices, for he/she often predetermines according to his sex, the mode of interacting with a child, a preliminary discrimination can therefore be deduced. In addition to that, a content analysis of 6 maths manuals belonging to the classes concerned, has been done, it verifies that these books motivate clearly a stereotyped representation of the society, where loom up sexually differentiated positions witnessed by their contents.On the other hand, the majority of the observed classes seems to enhance sexualized socialization, which is shown by many variables during apprenticeship sessions, this may lead in certain manners to generalize the masculine universalism and to strengthen therely the domination of the strong sex, through hierarchical terms linked to the sex of the student

Повний текст джерелаThe objective of this research is to critically analyse and understand which speeches about childhood are stablished in portfolios as an instrument for educational documentation In elementary school The study aims to comprehend under a Social- Cultural-Historical perspective with basis on the Activity Theory and through the concrete proposition Bahkitinians concepts, and ideologic sign, how these discourses reveal the conception of a child and the teaching-learning process starting from the dialogic understanding of language. Two teachers from elementary school participated in this research, one from pre-school and the other from the first year from a private school in the eastern area from São Paulo City. The data interpretation was made with basis on two activities from the portfolios produced by these teachers in 2010. It is a critical research of cooperation which had as objective to observe, analyse and understand and cooperate with transformations in the teaching practice. The results show changes in the role of different individuals as well as in the teaching practice. Thus, with the portfolio as an instrument one can visualize better children s voices, opinions and perceptions as active people in the learning process, but this change is strictly linked to a more comprehensive process of teachers education on the portfolio usage and about the teaching-learning conception on which it is based
O objetivo desta pesquisa é analisar e compreender criticamente quais discursos sobre infância são instaurados nos portfólios, como documentação pedagógica, de educação infantil. O estudo pretende abranger a partir da perspectiva da Teoria da Atividade Sócio-Histórico-Cultural e, por meio dos conceitos bakhtinianos de enunciado concreto e signo ideológico, entender como esses discursos revelam a concepção de criança e o processo de ensino-aprendizagem a partir da compreensão dialógica da linguagem. São participantes desta pesquisa duas professoras de educação infantil, de turmas de Pré e 1º ano, de um colégio particular da zona oeste da cidade de São Paulo. A interpretação de dados foi realizada a partir da análise de duas atividades selecionadas dos portfólios produzidos por essas professoras, no ano de 2010. Trata-se de uma pesquisa crítica de colaboração que procurou analisar, compreender e colaborar para transformações nas práticas educativas. Os resultados apontam mudanças iniciais tanto nos papéis desempenhados pelos diferentes sujeitos quanto na prática educativa, pois, por meio do portfólio, foi possível perceber uma maior visualização das vozes, opiniões e percepções das crianças como sujeitos ativos no processo de aprendizagem
