The trade-off between awareness and interruption is a crucial aspect in network fault notifiers: Low severity alarms should not distract operators from other primary tasks, however it might be crucial that operators promptly react to critical notifications. A notification system should hence determine when a particular interruption is appropriate and how it should be presented. In this direction, this paper presents a multistep design path beginning from the objective of designing a proof-of-concept for a glanceable alarm notification component for telecommunication network management systems based on a peripheral display approach. In particular the goal was a notifier guided by severity-based strategies and offering the information expressiveness of a one-notification-at-the-time perspective while enriching it with overview capabilities to guarantee (possibly subliminal) long-term local and global content comprehension and prompt reaction only when the interruption from the foreground task is dictated by the fault severity. A first design macro-phase led to the simple yet effective GLANCE (GLanceable Alarm Notification for a User Centered Experience) model, based on a visual coding technique oriented to comprehension and reaction, and a transition strategy oriented to interruptions and reaction. A second design macro-phase studied the application of GLANCE to a personal customizable multichannel notification tool and to a service-oriented fault monitor for digital terrestrial television broadcasting networks.

New smart devices are developed every day with the ability to generate, send, and display messages about their status, data, and information about other devices. Consequently, the number of notifications received by a user is increasing and their tolerance may decrease in a short time. With this, it is necessary to develop a management system and notification controls. In this context, this work proposes a notification and alert management system called PRISER. Its focus is on user profiles and environments, applying data privacy criteria.

When someone uses a wheelchair, there is still the possibility of an accident to the user, such as when the user suddenly falls down from the wheelchair or the user falls down along with the wheelchair. For notification of emergency conditions for wheelchair users, an alarm system is designed that can send messages to the intended mobile number. The system is designed using Wemos D1 mini, Ultrasonic, MPU-6050 and Proximity E18-D80NK sensors. The conclusion from the measurement and test results are: the value read by the MPU-6050 sensor is taken one axis for each direction when the wheelchair was falling down, Y≤180o for left falling down, X≤50o for right falling down, Z≤65o for forward falling and Z≥140o for backwards falling down. The Ultrasonic sensor works well for detecting the presence of user’s legs and the E18-D80NK proximity sensor works well for detecting the position of the user who is sitting in a wheelchair. Receiving notifications through the BLYNK server works well, not affected by distance provided there is an internet connection connected to the device.

Location-based notification (LBN) aims to alert the users in a target area to their interested information. With a wide range of applications, LBN has been gaining more and more attraction among wireless users and service providers. The mainstream centralized solution based on cellular networks may incur high service cost. In this paper, we present an innovative scheme called Phoenix, which does not rely on any infrastructure, to implement location-based notification service. In our design, devices (users) across the target area form a dynamic peer-to-peer network, where a user can be a message source, a message carrier, or a message subscriber. When a user meets the message carrier, he will get a copy of the message. Phoenix keeps messages of interest being circulated in the target area; hence users are being notified. To achieve desired notification performance, Phoenix adaptively controls when a user should take the carrier role and help disseminating a message in order to keep the message “alive,” given the fact that message carriers may leave the target area and drop the message. Extensive simulations have been conducted to show the efficacy of Phoenix notification system.

This study aims to determine the use of the whatsapp gateway service in the loan notification system (SINOPI) at the Pekalongan City Library and Archives Service. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The data collection technique used in this research is by conducting interviews. The informants in the study used purposive sampling technique, namely the technique of determining informants based on certain criteria. This study resulted in the finding that this service could at least minimize the delay in returning books by as much as 20 copies per day. This service has been used by all users who have registered as members of the Pekalongan City Regional Library. With this system, the service for extending the loan period is automatically served by the server without having any officers on guard and without having to come to the library location. This application development is easy to use and understand by its users and easy to access. The obstacles that often occur are notification information that is not conveyed or cannot be read by users due to several factors including; a power cut by PLN so that the server is down and unable to send notifications, the registered user cellphone number is no longer active / changed the number, because the internet subscription (kouta) of the user has run out and notifications are ignored.

This study used the Rapid Application Development (RAD) Methodology ensured that the phases in system development are done in the software building process. A prototype was developed that is used in the pilot implementation and a questionnaire has been distributed to the respondents to gather the information that can be used to determine if the functions of the system can benefit the owner/user. The findings revealed t that the system requires functional requirements such as; the user must be computer literate and knowledgeable on how the security system works, the location must have a Telecommunication signal and USB dongle must have loaded. Non-functional requirements such as; easy to use and high cost but can be useful; Hardware and Software Requirements with the latest version of the software with the help of computers that has higher specifications that the user/homeowner requires to have a user account to access and operate the system the system has good technical performance as to functionality, reliability, efficiency, and usability. Furthermore, the system entailed efficiency and was easy to use by the respondents.

In this paper a Door lock system using RFID and IOT Technologies. Using smart phone with Blynk App the Admin or owner can remotely monitor, control (ON & OFF the access) and can get Blynk notifications from the door lock when someone try to access it or if any suspicious activity happens (someone try to break the it). The registered User will receive Gmail’s when he tries to unlock the door. Other features are the admin or owner can remotely unlock and lock the door from any place, and he can disable the switch which is used for getting out from the room, for blocking the unknown persons who went with theft RFID card, it is done by seeing the notifications send to the user when door is unlocked with his card through Admin. For authorized person the lock will be opened and closed automatically after a predetermined delay. If it is an unauthorized person tries it alerts the admin and neighbors through a Blynk notification and buzzer sound. Thus, once implemented, the system will prove An Effective security with minimum cost and increase in comfort for system users and also more efficient compared to existing cost ineffective systems.

The aim for this research is to design , develop and evaluate a web - based child health record system with appointment notification. This system has the ability to record all the medical information about a child such as the heig ht, weight, treatments and medical conditions . It also has the ability to rec ord the visit s and immunization details, reminder for next visits and immunization appointments. A User Experience ( UX ) Test were conducted during the study to evaluate the system . User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) is the instrument that is being utilized during the UX Testing to evaluate the user experience quality of a product. UEQ has been divided into six scales which are attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation and novelty . During the UX Testing, the users were given a chance to explore and evaluate the system. The result from the UX Testing indicates that most of the users agree that the system is attractive and has a good perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation and novelty. In conclusion, this research h as achieved the objectives which are to design, develop and evaluate a Web - Based Child Health Record System with Appointment Notifications.

The thesis project underlines the importance of designing calm and subtle technologies, by exploring how mobile communicative technologies, such as cell phones, could notify their users about incoming information in a more natural, and non-intrusive manner. The aim of the thesis was to find a way for cell phones to act more appropriately in public and social settings, where they now often are considered intrusive due to their uninhibited manifestations.The thesis provides a theoretical understanding of how normative expectations of cell phone conduct are constituted and maintained within public and social settings. The theories are further grounded in practical work, where the project employ user centered design methods and techniques to, in a collaborative manner, together with users explore the research field to generate insights. Solutions have further been prototyped and evaluated together with users in their everyday settings.Taking inspiration from calm technology, the project looks into how information can be notified, in a more subtle manner in the periphery of the user’s attention. Users’ own priming abilities have been considered as a personal way to recognize the notification and to further associate it as relevant information.As a solution for intrusive cell phones, the thesis proposes Knot; a signature based notification system, which builds on friends’ abilities to recognize each other’s characteristic traits. The system consists of a notification rope, which is a free standing phone accessory that twists and turns, when new information is arriving to the user’s cell phone. It can present whom the information is from by shaping itself into the sender’s representative Knot-signature. If the user can recognize the signature, it will immediately trigger a meaningful association to the person who sent the information.The solution builds upon the restrictiveness between those who can associate a certain signature to a certain person, and those who cannot. For those who have the ability to associate to the signature, its role as a notifier will become meaningful and informative, while for others, who do not share this ability, the signature would be subtle and meaningless, and hence not interfering. The thesis exemplifies how interfaces could provide users with output in a more natural way, by considering users’ previous skills and knowledge, and primarily their priming abilities.

The news landscape has changed during recent years because of the digitization. News can nowadays be found in both newspapers and on different sites online. The availability of the digital newspapers leads to competition among the news companies. To make the users stay on one specific platform for news, relevance is required in the content and oneway of creating relevance is through personalization, to tailor the content to each user. The focus of this thesis is therefore personalizing newspush notifications for a digital  newspaper and making them more relevant for users. The project was made in cooperation with VK Media, and their digital newspaper. The task in this thesis is to implement personalization of push notifications by building a recommendation system and to test the implemented system with data from VK. In order to perform the task, a dataset representing reading habits of VK’s users was extracted from their data warehouse. Then a user-based and content-based recommendation system was implemented in Python.The idea with the system is to recommend new articles that are sufficiently similar to one or more of the already read articles. Articles that may be liked by one of the most similar users should also be recommended. Finally, the system’s performance was evaluated with the data representing reading habits for VK’s users. The results show that the implemented system has better performance than the current solution without any personalization, when recommending a few articles to each user. The results from the evaluation also show that the more articles the users have read, the better predictions are possible to make. Thus, this thesis offers a first step towards meeting the expectations of more relevant content among VK’s users.

Responding to the need within the human-computer interaction field to address ubiquitous and multitasking systems more scientifically, this research extends the usefulness of a new research framework for a particular class of systems. Notification systems are interfaces used in a divided-attention, multitasking situation, attempting to deliver current, valued information through a variety of platforms and modes in an efficient and effective manner. Through review of literature and experiences with empirical dual-task perceptual studies, we recognize a lack of unifying framework for understanding, classifying, analyzing, developing, evaluating, and discussing notification systems--fundamentally inhibiting scientific growth and knowledge reuse that should help designers advance the state-of-the-art. To this end, we developed a framework (referred to as the IRC framework) for notification systems research based on a core taxonomy of critical parameters describing user goals. Next, we extend the framework, focusing on three key aspects: 1) a system description process, allowing articulation of abstract design objectives that focus on critical user requirements; 2) interface usability evaluation tools, enabling comparison of the design and user's models, while supporting generalizability of research and early identification of usability concerns; and 3) design comparison and reuse mechanisms, saving time and effort in requirements analysis and early design stages by enabling design reuse and appreciation of design progress. Results from this research include the development of tools to express IRC design models (IRCspec) and user's models (IRCresults), and the extension of the critical parameters concept. Validation studies with novice designers show sufficient assessment accuracy and consistency. Leveraging these tools that help designers express abstract, yet critical, design intentions and effects as classification and retrieval indices, we develop a repository for reusable design knowledge (a claims library). Responding to challenges of design knowledge access that we observed through initial user testing, we introduce a vision for an integrated design environment (LINK-UP) to operationalize the IRC framework and notification systems claims library in a computer-aided design support system. Proof-of-concept testing results encourage the thought that when valuable design tools embody critical parameters and are coupled with readily accessible reusable design knowledge, interface development will improve as a scientific endeavor.

Many software systems fail as a direct consequence of errors in requirements analysis. Establishing formal metrics early in the design process, using attributes like critical parameters, enables designers to properly assess software success. While critical parameters alone do not have the potential to drive design, establishing requirements tied to critical parameters helps designers capture design objectives. For the design of interactive systems, the use of scenario-based approaches offers natural user centricity and facilitates knowledge reuse through the generation of claims. Unfortunately, the requirements-analysis phase of scenario-based design does not offer sufficient built-in and explicit techniques needed for capturing the critical-parameter requirements of a system. Because success depends heavily on user involvement and proper requirements, there is a crucial need for a requirements-analysis technique that bridges the gap between scenarios and critical parameters.

Better establishing requirements will benefit design. By adapting task-modeling techniques to support critical parameters within the requirements-analysis phase of scenario-based design, we are able to provide designers with a systematic technique for capturing requirements in a reusable form that enables and encourages knowledge transfer early in the development process. The research work presented concentrates on the domain of notification systems, as previous research efforts led to the identification of three critical parameters.

Contributions of this work include establishment of a structured process for capturing critical-parameter requirements within a user-centric design framework and introduction of knowledge reuse at the requirements phase. On one hand, adapting task models to capture requirements bridges the gap between scenarios and critical parameters, which benefits design from user involvement and accurate requirements. On the other hand, using task models as a reusable component leverages requirements reuse which benefits design by increasing quality while reducing development costs and time-to-market.

Os medicamentos sÃo a principal ferramenta terapÃutica para a recuperaÃÃo ou manutenÃÃo das condiÃÃes de saÃde da populaÃÃo. Dentre os problemas mais comuns relacionados aos mesmos estÃo a ReaÃÃo Adversa a Medicamentos (RAM) e Queixas TÃcnicas (QT), sendo necessÃria sua vigilÃncia atravÃs do gerenciamento, direcionamento e desenvolvimento de atividades de farmacovigilÃncia mediante a formaÃÃo de centros colaboradores/notificadores. Avaliar as notificaÃÃes de RAM e QT enviadas e analisadas pelo Centro de FarmacovigilÃncia do Cearà (CEFACE) durante os seus nove anos de funcionamento voltados para o contexto da saÃde pÃblica e do uso racional de medicamentos. Foram coletadas todas as notificaÃÃes de RAM e QT do banco de dados do CEFACE, durante o perÃodo de janeiro/97 a dezembro/05, sendo as seguintes variÃveis analisadas: sexo e idade, origem da notificaÃÃo, notificador, medicamento envolvido, RAM referida, e classificaÃÃo desta quanto à causalidade e severidade e tipo de RAM segundo Rawlins e Thompson. Quanto à QT, as variÃveis foram: origem da notificaÃÃo, tipo de QT, notificador e medicamento ou material mÃdico envolvido. Foi tambÃm realizado um levantamento para identificaÃÃo na literatura da possibilidade dos excipientes farmacÃuticos serem fatores de risco para RAM, utilizando-se como base inicial os 11 medicamentos mais vendidos no mercado brasileiro, no perÃodo de novembro/02 a novembro/03 e suas respectivas formulaÃÃes. Posteriormente foi feita a retirada de casos com envolvimento desses excipientes em estudos de casos clÃnicos suspeitos. No perÃodo de janeiro/97 a dezembro/05, o CEFACE registrou 1.293 notificaÃÃes. Destas, 1.172 (90,6%) foram casos de RAM e 121 (9,4%) de QT. Houve uma reduÃÃo significante do envio dessas notificaÃÃes durante os anos. A maioria das RAM foi referente ao sexo feminino (62,7%) e a faixa etÃria de 21-30 anos (17,7%). A busca ativa foi o mÃtodo de notificaÃÃo com maior percentual (59,3%). 85,6% (RAM) foram de origem hospitalar com percentual de pÃblicos de 81,6%. O grupo terapÃutico com maior envolvimento foi o dos antiinfecciosos de uso sistÃmico (40%). O sistema da pele (48,5%) destacou-se dentro das RAM referidas. Quanto à causalidade, o maior nÃmero de RAM foi do tipo provÃvel (44,1%) e para a severidade destacaram-se as moderadas (52,2%). A maioria foi RAM do tipo A. As RAM graves e fatais tambÃm ocorreram. As QT foram de origem hospitalar (n=120), com Ãnfase para a mudanÃa de coloraÃÃo (47,1%) e falta de eficÃcia (22,3%). Foram identificados na literatura 10 excipientes farmacÃuticos de risco, sendo 03 responsÃveis por RAM coletadas no banco de dados do CEFACE. O estudo de RAM e QT, bem como o estabelecimento de seus fatores condicionantes por um centro de farmacovigilÃncia tÃm grande importÃncia no contexto da saÃde pÃblica e do uso racional de medicamentos. Tanto o profissional notificador, como a populaÃÃo em geral, deve ser incentivado a notificar toda suspeita de RAM e QT aos ÃrgÃos responsÃveis para que sejam estabelecidas medidas administrativas, dentre elas: a) Retirada de produtos inadequados do mercado; b) MudanÃas nas suas bulas e c) RestriÃÃo de uso na populaÃÃo. O levantamento na literatura cientÃfica demonstra de forma clara que, o envolvimento dos excipientes à um fator de risco para a ocorrÃncia de RAM, possibilitando sua inserÃÃo no estudo de causalidade de casos suspeitos.
Drugs are the mainly therapeutical tool to the recoverying or maintenance of the population health condiction. Among the most common problems related for it are Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) and Technical Complains (TC), being need this survey through the management, and development of activities of pharmacovigillance with the creation of helperâs and notifiers centers. Evaluate the ADR and TC sended to and analized by the pharmacovigillance center of ceara during its nine years of function toward to public health and rational use of drugs. Were collected All the ADR and TC notifications in the database of CEFACE, during the period of January 1997 to December 2005, being analized the following variables: gender and age, origin of the notification, notifier, drug involved, ADR, causality and severity classification of these ones and the kind of ADR according to Rawlins and Thompson. About the TC, the variables being: origin of notification, kind of TC, notifier, and drug or medical material involved. Also A research was made to identify in literature the possibility of pharmaceutical excipients being risks factors to cause ADR, using as initial data the 11 drugs most sold in the brazilian market in the period of November/02 to November/03 and their respective compositions. Lately was made the retrieve of cases with the involvement of these excipients in studies of suspects clinical cases. In the analized period, January 1997 to December 2005, the CEFACE registered 1.293 notifications. Of these ones, 1.172 (90,6%) ADR cases and 121 (9,4%) TC. There was a significant reduction of the number of notification during the years. Most of the ADR were registered in females (62,7%) and age of 21-30 anos (17,7%). Active search was the greatest notification method (59,3%). 85,6% (ADR) came from in hospitals with a percentual of publics in 81,6%. The therapeutical group with greatest involvement most was antibiotics for systemic use (40,0%). %). The skin system (48,5%) to be detached inside of the reported ADR. For causality, the higher number of ADR were classified as probably (44,1%) and for severity the highest percentual were considered as moderate (52,2%). Most were ADR A type. The severe and fatal ADR also occurred. The TC came from in hospitals (n=120), with emphasis to changing of color (47,1%) and lack of effectiveness (22,3%). In the literature were identified 10 risk pharmaceutical excipients, being 03 responsible for ADR collected in CEFACE database. The study of ADR and TC, as well as the establishment of their conditioners factors by a pharmacovigillance center, has large importance in public health and rational use of drugs context. Both the professional notifier and the population must be encouraged to notify all the suspects of ADR and TC to the responsable groups to be taken administrative measures among them: a) retrieve of inapropriated products from market; b) change in the labels and c) restriction in the use by population. The research in scientific literature shows in a clear way that, the involvment of excipients is a risk factor to ADR occurrence, enabling your insertion in the causality study of suspects cases.

The theoretical part of the work includes information on the safety of operation and work in biological laboratories, measured physical quantities and the principle of their measurement. The monitoring system is built on a compact ESP32-CAM camera and a WeMos D1 development board. The practical part consists of the design and implementation of a given system and the creation of a full-stack application for displaying live input from the laboratory for monitoring measured quantities in real time.

A notification system is an application software which delivers extra messages to users while they are working. To the user, the primary task is the ongoing task; the messages delivered by the notification system are secondary one. Because the past studies only focused on the complexity of a single task (primary or secondary), their results often conflicted with each other, and their theories don’t have enough explanatory power. Therefore, this study focuses on both the complexity of the primary and that of the secondary task, and discusses the relationships among task complexity in the notification system, users’ performance, resumption lag, and the effects of interruptions. Resumption lag is the time between the termination of the secondary task and the beginning of the primary task. This study conducted an experiment to show how different levels of task complexity affect users’ performance and their subjective feelings due to human limitation on information processing. We provide design methods for task complexity to shorten the resumption lag and mitigate the negative effects of interruptions. This study was a 2 x 2 between-subjects design. The independent variables were the complexity of the primary and that of the secondary task at two levels (simple and complex). The dependent variables were users’ performance (including the accuracy and the completion time of the task), resumption lag, the state of anxiety, and subjective task complexity. The primary task was product searching at two levels, simple and complex, according to product information and the specified constraints. The secondary task was arithmetic problem-solving, which also has two levels, simple and complex, depending on whether the subject is required to decode the digits and the numbers of digits to be calculated. The results show that the accuracy and completion time of a task either primary or secondary, is only influenced by it self. The overall performance of the four groups is that SS group is better than CS group, which in turn is better than SC group, and CC group is the worst. The influence of the secondary task complexity on resumption lag is great. In other words, the more complex the secondary task is, the harder it is for the subject to resume the primary task. Being interrupted while doing the primary task, the users would have pressure and feel difficult to resume concentration on the primary task. The study suggests that while interruptions are unavoidable with the notification system, the designer should control the complexity of the secondary task to the least and restrict the completion time within 30 seconds.

This chapter provides a broad definition of surveillance in relation to health protection, including infections, environmental hazards, and health delivery. Surveillance systems include active, passive, and sentinel surveillance, and guidelines are provided for assessing the quality of surveillance data. Surveillance tools include the statutory notification of diseases, laboratory reporting, and prevalence surveys. In addition, syndromic surveillance, the (near) real-time collection of data has become increasingly used, facilitated by increasing use of digital data collection within health care settings and the availability of other digital data sources (e.g. social media). Other surveillance types include event-based surveillance (e.g. during major sporting events), and environmental surveillance, including food related disease, air pollution and chemical hazards. The chapter finally brings these together in integrated surveillance and the use of such surveillance in health planning and assessment.

The possession, use, transport, and disposal of radioactive materials are controlled through regulation to limit exposure of the public and workers. This chapter describes the methodologies employed. Regulation is enacted through a system of notification and licensing, based upon recommendations from the IAEA and ICRP. A competent authority is empowered to permit an organization to hold, use, or dispose of any radionuclide, provided certain conditions are met. These take the form of limits on the quantities of different radioactive materials held, and requirements for security and protection. They require an evaluation of the impact of waste disposal. Methodologies for estimating doses received by critical groups from release of radioactive material into the environment are explained. Minimization of the waste produced and regulation of its disposal are essential components in the overall strategy to protect the environment. Controls over the transport of radioactive materials and medical administrations to patients are considered.

Section 7.4 of the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts (PICC) is concerned with remedy of damages. It covers the right to recover damages in the event of non-performance as well as the measure of damages, particularly the use of foreseeability as a limiting factor on the recoverability of damages. A notable feature of Section 7.4 is that the entitlement to recover damages is not linked to any notion of fault, nor to any system of notification of the defaulting party. Instead, the right arises on non-performance by the other party to the contract unless the non-performance is excused. The articles in Section 7.4 build upon, and in places develop, the rules to be found in the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

Mobile notifications are clickable messages commonly used to attractusers’ attention at specific times and in different contexts.Among other uses, scheduled notification interventions are toolsthat can remind users of something important or recommend informationthat may be needed. Using notifications to promote interactionbetween web-based systems and mobile users has becomecommon practice. However, there are still challenges related tomanaging these notifications, such as knowing which notificationswere acknowledged and triggered by users, or enabling them toidentify ignored notifications. In this article, we introduce ’ResolveNotification’, a framework that supports scheduling notificationson smart devices. Our solution enables the creation of features thatmake it easy for web system developers to generate notifications,and for individualized management of notifications and interactionsscheduled by system administrators as well as mobile end users.We tested the framework with developers and employed the systemin a preliminary educational case study - the results suggest that’Resolve Notification’ has the potential to be used for managingweb and mobile notification systems.

Abstract The ability to instantly and successfully interact among technical engineers, management team and machines is vital to the productivity and efficiency of manufacturing shopfloor. Chat messenger with smart mobile has obvious advantages for shopfloor management in group communication, instant notification and remote control. This paper presents a natural-language chat & control HMI for manufacturing shopfloor. The system successfully realizes a smooth two-way communication between users and shopfloor machines. Users can access just-in-time information, receive instant notifications, and remotely control shopfloor machines. All relevant parties can communicate over shopfloor matters in a chat group. The system comprises of four core modules, i.e. Chat Messenger, Chat Service Engine, Control & Communication Engine and Local Command Service. Chat Messenger provides chatting user interface and group management dealing with end-user’s enquiries and notifications via natural language. Chat Service Engine and Control & Communication Engine are two cloud-based service modules, which process questionnaire logic and transmit relevant commands and data bi-directionally between Chat Messenger and Local Command Service. Local Command Service is a local service terminal which implements interfaces and protocols directly interacting with shopfloor machines. It processes the requests and commands from Chat Messenger to shopfloor machines. It also checks real-time machine anomalies and automatically generates corresponding notifications. The system has been implemented in the advanced manufacturing shopfloor at Nanyang Polytechnic. The results and validation show the improvement of manufacturing shopfloor efficiency.

The article describes the process of developing a chatbot to provide students with information about schedules using the Telegram mobile messenger. During the research, the following tasks have been performed: the analysis of notification systems for their use in the educational process, identification of problems of notifying students about the schedule (dynamic environment, traditional presentation of information, lack of round-the-clock access), substantiation of the choice of mobile technologies and Telegram messenger, determination of the requirements to the software, generalization of the chatbot functioning features, description of the structure, functionality of the program to get information about the schedule using a chatbot. The following tasks have been programmatically implemented: obtaining data from several pages of a spreadsheet (faculty / institute, red / green week, group number, day of the week, period number, discipline name, information about the teacher); presentation of data in a convenient form for the messenger (XML); implementation of the mechanism of convenient presentation of data in the messenger (chatbot). Using Python and the Telegram API, the software has been designed to increase students; immediacy in getting the information about the schedules, minimizing the time spent, and optimizing of planning of student activities and higher education institution functioning.

Although the Indonesian Norplant® program is unique in terms of scale and pace of expansion, it also characterizes many of the operational problems that other developing countries are likely to confront as they expand their Norplant programs. Many of the concerns—such as screening and counseling, use-effectiveness, removal on demand, and tracking and notification systems for five-year removal—can only be answered through research on the Indonesian program. As this report states, operations research on issues related to Norplant within the Indonesian program will be of direct relevance to the growing number of Norplant programs in other developing countries. While the Indonesian program represents the largest and most ambitious Norplant program in the world, much remains unknown about many aspects of service delivery and use-dynamics. This survey provides essential information that the BKKBN and other Indonesian and international family planning organizations can use to improve the quality of Norplant services and to increase the effective use of this method.
