Spatial studies of the emission line regions in planetary nebulae (PN) can provide insight into the physical and chemical environments across the nebulae. In a collaborative effort by the coauthors, a K-band Fabry-Perot etalon has been coupled with an advanced 256 × 256 InSb focal plane array at the Wyoming Infrared Observatory 2.3m telescope. This system permits us to obtain spatially resolved, 0.24″/pixel, moderate spectral resolution (R ≈ 800), flux-density IR emission line images of astronomical sources. We obtained continuum-subtracted images of Br γ, HeI 2.06 μm, the 2-μm UIR features, and the 3.3 μm PAH dust feature in the PN NGC 6572, NGC 7027, and NGC 7662. One objective was to determine the spatial morphology of two unidentified emission lines, UIR1−2.199 μm, and UIR2−2.287 μm (Geballe et al. 1991). These UIR lines appear in the spectra of many PN (Hora et al. 1997) and in the Orion Nebula (Luhman & Rieke 1996). Geballe et al. suggested that the UIR lines are most likely forbidden transitions and showed that the parent ion ionization potential is ≈ 30–40 eV, while the ionization potential for the ions themselves is 40–60 eV. Here we directly compare the distribution of the UIR emitters to that of the gas (H+,He+) and dust (PAHs).

Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine the tension between learning and protection in university-industry relationships (UIRs) and, in particular, to identify practices that facilitate ways of coping with this tension. Design/methodology/approach The empirical work for the study is based on a qualitative comparative case analysis of six successful, long-term relationships between industrial technology firms and university research groups in Finland. Findings The findings of the study reveal that the development of mutual trust, based on personal-level relationships, adaptation and reaching a consensus about the utilization of research results represent the key processes that enable partners to balance learning and protection and lower the informational barriers within the collaboration. Research limitations/implications The case data have been collected from IT industry, in which the need for knowledge is changing rapidly and the need for learning is typically high. However, generalization of the results may need additional case studies including from other industrial areas. Practical implications The results highlight a rich set of practices that can support both industrial actors and academics in improving their engagement in collaboration and to facilitate successful knowledge creation and utilization in UIRs. Originality/value This study extends the existing literature on UIR learning by presenting organizational practices, which help UIR actors to balance learning and protection in their collaboration. Along with mutual trust and adaptation achieved in long-term personal relationships, these practices allow partners to overcome organizational barriers that result from different orientations, attitudes and incentives.

In this paper, it is shown that the covariant representation (CR) transforming the Dirac field under de Sitter isometries is equivalent to a direct sum of two unitary irreducible representations (UIRs) of the Sp(2, 2) group transforming alike the particle and antiparticle field operators in momentum representation. Their basis generators and Casimir operators are written down for the first time finding that these representations are equivalent to an UIR from the principal series whose canonical labels are determined by the fermion mass and spin. The properties of the conserved observables (i.e. one-particle operators) associated to the de Sitter isometries via Noether theorem and of the corresponding Pauli–Lubanski type operator are also pointed out.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh Perilaku Konsumendan produk terhadap loyalitas pelanggan (studi kasus produk somethinc pada mahasiswa UIR). Analisis yang digunakan pada data ini adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Alat analisis yang digunakan untuk membantu penulis dalam mengolah data adalah software SPSS versi 24. Adapun tahapan pengolahan penelitian dimulai dari uji coba instrumen penelitian, uji asumsi klasik, analisis data melalui regresi linear berganda serta diakhiri dengan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh di atas, dapat diketahui bahwa nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,908 atau sebesar 90,8%. Dengan demikian nilai tersebut berarti bahwa variabel Perilaku Konsumendan produk memberikan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 90,8% terhadap customer loyalty mahasiswa UIR sedangkan sisanya yaitu sebesar 9,2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini.

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan rendahnya kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa selaku calon guru, serta terjadinya perubahan sistem pembelajaran dari tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran secara daring di masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian bertujuan agar meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa melalui bahan ajar berbasis multimedia interaktif untuk mendukung pembelaran online. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif (kuasi eksperimen) yang dilaksanakan di 2 Universitas yaitu Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) dan Universitas Pasir Pengaraian (UPP) . Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa calon guru matematika yang mengontrak mata kuliah Struktur Aljabar di UIR (kelas eksperimen) dan mahasiswa calon guru matematika di UPP (kelas kontrol) pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan penalaran dan data hasil tes diolah dengan uji statistik. Uji normalitas menggunakan Kolmogorov-Smirnov dan uji homogenitas menggunakan Levene serta uji T. Berdasarkan hasil uji T, diperoleh nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,029 < 0,05. Artinya terjadi peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis multimedia interaktif.

Penelitian ini dimulai dari rendahnya skor hasil belajar fisika di prodi matematika FKIP UIR. Ini tampak dari skor siswa yang sebagian besar mendapatkan nilai B sehingga pembelajaran fisika tidak berjalan baik. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar fisika di prodi matematika FKIP UIR dengan menggunakan media berbasis komputer melalui metode inkuiri. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa semester pertama kelas IE di prodi matematika FKIP UIR tahun akademik 2010/2011, dengan jumlah mahasiswa sebanyak 39 orang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus untuk delapan pertemuan dan dua siklus pertemuan untuk tes hasil belajar. Setiap pertemuan, belajar menggunakan metode inkuiri dengan lima langkah yang terdiri dari merumuskan masalah, perumusan hipotesis, pengumpulan data, uji hipotesis dan kesimpulan. Temuan dari penelitian ini  menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media komputer berbasis metode inkuiri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika pada prodi matematika FKIP UIR. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat pada hasil siklus satu tes dengan skor rata-rata nilai 68,85 ≥ B hanya 58,97% dan siklus II dengan rata-rata nilai 76,41 ≥ B sekitar 79,49%. Umumnya, proses pembelajaran dalam penelitian tindakan kelas yang telah dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar.

Unilateral ischemia-reperfusion (UIR) injury leads to progressive renal atrophy and tubulointerstitial fibrosis (TIF) and is commonly used to investigate the pathogenesis of the acute kidney injury-chronic kidney disease transition. Although it is well known that contralateral nephrectomy (CNX), even 2 wk post-UIR injury, can improve recovery, the physiological mechanisms and tubular signaling pathways mediating such improved recovery remain poorly defined. Here, we examined the renal hemodynamic and tubular signaling pathways associated with UIR injury and its reversal by CNX. Male Sprague-Dawley rats underwent left UIR or sham UIR and 2 wk later CNX or sham CNX. Blood pressure, left renal blood flow (RBF), and total glomerular filtration rate were assessed in conscious rats for 3 days before and over 2 wk after CNX or sham CNX. In the presence of a contralateral uninjured kidney, left RBF was lower ( P < 0.05) from 2 to 4 wk following UIR (3.6 ± 0.3 mL/min) versus sham UIR (9.6 ± 0.3 mL/min). Without CNX, extensive renal atrophy, TIF, and tubule dedifferentiation, but minimal pimonidazole and hypoxia-inducible factor-1α positivity in tubules, were present at 4 wk post-UIR injury. Conversely, CNX led ( P < 0.05) to sustained increases in left RBF (6.2 ± 0.6 mL/min) that preceded the increases in glomerular filtration rate. The CNX-induced improvement in renal function was associated with renal hypertrophy, more redifferentiated tubules, less TIF, and robust pimonidazole and hypoxia-inducible factor-1α staining in UIR injured kidneys. Thus, contrary to expectations, indexes of hypoxia are not observed with the extensive TIF at 4 wk post-UIR injury in the absence of CNX but are rather associated with the improved recovery of renal function and structure following CNX.

The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship between the shooting accuracy of athletes from UIR Petanque UKM and their static balance and eye-hand coordination. This study falls under the category of multiple correlation research, and it involved 18 male participants from the UKM Petanque UIR. The instruments used for exploration included a dexterity test, static balance test, and petanque shooting test. The data analysis method employed was the multiple correlation value test. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the following conclusions can be drawn (1) There is a relationship between hand-eye coordination and the shooting accuracy of UIR petanque athletes with rcount = 0.581 > rtable = 0.468. (2) There is a relationship between static balance and the shooting accuracy of UIR petanque athletes with a value of rcount = 0.605 > rtable = 0.468. (3) There is a relationship between eye-hand coordination and static balance on the shooting accuracy of UIR petanque athletes with rcount = 0.697 > rtable = 0.468

In the research three NDT methods: indirect Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity, Impact-Echo (IE) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) were used for investigation of concrete slabs with well-defined reinforcement and artificial defects. The obtained results shows the big potential of combination of UPE, IE and GPR methods for detection of wide range of defects in concrete structures. These methods were implemented for UIR scanner development – NDT system which accelerate assessment of concrete structure. Moreover, when the result of one method is not clear and individually the method seems to be not effective, the data from the other one allows for proper interpretation of concrete integrity.

AbstractThe unidentified infrared (UIR) bands, whose carriers are thought to be organics, have been widely observed in various astrophysical environments. However, our knowledge of the detailed chemical composition and formation process of the carriers is still limited. We have synthesized laboratory organics named Quenched Nitrogen-included Carbonaceous Composite (QNCC) by quenching plasma produced from nitrogen gas and hydrocarbon solids. Infrared and X-ray analyses of QNCC showed that infrared properties of QNCC well reproduce the UIR bands observed in novae and amine structures contained in QNCC play an important role in the origin of the broad 8 m feature, which characterizes the UIR bands in novae. QNCC is at present the best laboratory analog of organic dust formed around dusty classical novae, which carries the UIR bands in novae via thermal emission process [Endo et al.(2021)].

AbstractThe unidentified infrared (UIR) bands have been ubiquitously observed in various astrophysical environments and consist of a series of emission features arising from aromatic and/or aliphatic C-C and C-H bonds [1]. Therefore, their carriers are thought to be related to interstellar organics. However, our knowledge on the true carriers of the UIR bands is still limited. Recently [4] has proposed Mixed Aromatic Aliphatic Organic Nanoparticles, which contains hetero atoms in addition to conventional hydrocarbon models, as a more realistic interpretation of the band carriers. The challenges toward identifying the carriers of the UIR bands are still ongoing. Past studies have shown that the UIR bands observed around classical novae, which characterized by the presence of broad feature around 8&mu;m[2], are somewhat different from those observed in other astrophysical environment. Here we report the success of experimentally synthesizing the organics called Nitrogen-included Carbonaceous Compounds (NCC; [7]) whose infrared properties can reproduce the UIR bands observed in classical novae.

Acute kidney injury is usually associated with distant organ dysfunction. The roles of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and reactive oxygen species (ROS) in this phenomenon were investigated following 2 h unilateral renal ischemia and 24 h reperfusion. There were 3 groups of rats subjected to either unilateral ischemia/reperfusion (UIR group), unilateral nephrectomy (UNX group), or sham operation. Two further groups were given α-tocopherol and aminoguanidine with UIR (treated-UIR group) and UNX (treated-UNX group). Plasma nitrite/nitrate and malondialdehyde were elevated only in the UIR group. Creatinine clearance and blood flow increased in non-ischemic kidney of the UIR, but not to the same extent as remnant kidney of the UNX group, while they had equal compensatory rises in absolute Na+ and K+ excretion and urine flow. Non-ischemic kidney of the treated-UIR group, but not remnant kidney of the treated-UNX group, showed more elevation in blood flow, whereas both kidneys had reductions in absolute Na+ excretion and urine flow. Respiratory functional variable were not different between all groups. Therefore, 2 h unilateral renal ischemia and 24 h reperfusion did not affect lung but had distant effects on contralateral kidney partly mediated by ROS and NO-derived from iNOS to dampen compensatory increases in renal hemodynamics and to decrease tubular reabsorption.

Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a sudden decrease of kidney function. The incidence of AKI is increasing every year. One of the causes of AKI is the lack of blood supply to the kidneys (prerenal). At the present time, there are not many studies that report unilateral ischemic-reperfusion (UIR) duration which can cause kidney damage especially glomerulus. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of UIR duration to glomerular microscopic appearance, GFR and cystatin C produced in Wistar white rats. This study was performed in vivo by using Post-test Only Control Group Design. Unilateral Ischemic-Reperfusion was administered on the rat’s left kidney and recovery was done according to specified time. After recovery time, rat’s blood was taken, the rat was euthanized, and its kidneys were taken and stained with Picrosirius Red coloring. The kidneys were observed by using OptiLED and the photos were analyzed with ImageJ software. Blood samples were tested by ELISA to measure the cystatin C levels and the levels were converted into Larrson formula to obtain Glomerular Filtration Rate. The level of cystatin C increased along with the longer duration of UIR and compared inversely proportional to GFR which decreased along with the rise of UIR duration. Cystatin C and GFR had a significant mean difference (p<0.05) with all groups, except for the duration of the UIR group <60 minutes. The percentage of collagen obtained fluctuated but the whole group which was carried out by UIR had a significantly different collagen amount (p <0.05) with the sham-operated group. The average glomerular picture showed the addition of collagen, Bowman's capsule thickening and vascular retraction. The longer duration of UIR will worsen the kidney function. Language classes are initially unattended by a special institution such as a language center now under the supervision of the FAI UIR language center, the forerunner of the UIR language center called CELAD (Center for Languages ​​and Academic Development). Formulation The problem of this research is how the implementation of Arabic learning and the influence of the Arabic language class on the mastery of student learning in the Faculty of Islamic Studies UIR. The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of Arabic learning and the influence of the Arabic language class on the mastery of student learning in the Faculty of Islamic studies. The type of this research is descriptive as well as qualitiative and quantitative research. The literature review used is language learning, the influence of the Arabic language class, and vocabulary mastery (al-mufradat). Then based on the results of the study using quantitative descriptive analysis, it found that the implementation of Arabic learning and the influence of the Arabic class on students’ vocabulary mastery of FAI UIR can be said to be "good".

AbstractWe have succeeded in synthesizing organics, ‘Quenched Nitrogen-included Carbonaceous Composite (QNCC)’, via plasma chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method, whose infrared spectral properties reproduce the characteristics of the unidentified infrared (UIR) bands observed around classical novae. Past studies have shown that the UIR bands observed around novae appear somewhat differently from those observed in other astrophysical environment and are predominantly characterized by the presence of a broad 8μm feature. The remarkable similarity between the infrared properties of QNCC and the UIR bands in novae indicates that QNCC should be considered as a strong candidate of the carriers of the UIR bands in novae. Finally, we have started a space exposure experiment of QNCC aiming to explore the evolutional link between the QNCC and the insoluble organic molecule (IOM) in carbonaceous condrite and, thus, to infer the origins of organics in our solar system.

AbstractThe infrared spectra of many galactic and extragalactic objects are dominated by emission features at 3.3, 6.2, 7.7, 8.6 and 11.2 μm. The carriers of these features remained a mystery for almost a decade, hence the bands were dubbed the unidentified infrared (UIR) bands. Since the mid-80's, the UIR bands are generally attributed to the IR fluorescence of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon molecules (PAHs) upon absorption of UV photons – the PAH hypothesis. Here we review the progress made over the past 25 years in understanding the UIR bands and their carriers.

AbstractThe unidentified infrared (UIR) emission bands in the near- to mid-infrared are thought to originate from organic compounds in the interstellar medium. Recent space observations with Spitzer and AKARI have clearly revealed that the UIR bands are commonly seen in external galaxies, including elliptical galaxies, except for very metal-poor dwarf galaxies. They are also detected in extended structures of galaxies, such as extra-planar components and filaments produced by outflows, suggesting that the band carriers are ubiquitous organic compounds in galaxies. Since the UIR bands are prominent features in the infrared spectrum of galaxies and are linked to the star-formation activity, it is highly important to understand the nature, formation, processing, and destruction of the UIR band carriers in galaxies. While there is no systematic variation detected in the UIR spectrum in normal galaxies, significantly low values are derived for the ratio of the 7.7 μm to 11.2 μm bands in elliptical galaxies as well as in galaxies with low-luminosity AGNs compared to normal star-forming galaxies. Relatively low band ratios are also seen in the UIR band spectrum of extended structures in galaxies. If the same mechanism leads to the low band ratio, it would provide important information on the band carrier properties. It should also be noted that the band carriers are believed to be destroyed in a short time scale in environments where low band ratios are detected. The survival and supply processes in these environments are a key to understand the nature of the band carriers.

Few studies have focused on the link between active surveillance (AS) and Gleason score upgrade (GSU) and its impact on the prognosis of patients with prostate cancer (PCa). This study aimed to analyze the effect of AS duration on GSU and prognostic value based on risk stratification. All eligible patients were risk-stratified according to AUA guidelines into low-risk (LR), favorable intermediate-risk (FIR), and unfavorable intermediate-risk (UIR) PCa. Within the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program (SEER) database, 28,368 LR, 27,243 FIR, and 12,210 UIR PCa patients were included. The relationship between AS duration and GSU was identified with univariate and multivariate logistic regression. Discrimination according to risk stratification of AS duration and GSU was tested by Kaplan–Meier analysis and competing risk regression models. The proportion of patients who chose AS was the highest among LR PCa (3434, 12.1%), while the proportion in UIR PCa was the lowest (887, 7.3%). The AS duration was only associated with GSU in LR PCa, with a high Gleason score (GS) at diagnosis being a strong predictor of GSU for FIR and UIR PCa. Kaplan–Meier analysis indicated that long-term surveillance only made a significant difference in prognosis in UIR PCa. The competing risk analysis indicated that once GS was upgraded to 8 or above, the prognosis in each group was significantly worse. AS is recommended for LR and FIR PCa until GS is upgraded to 8, but AS may not be suitable for some UIR PCa patients.

AbstractThe interstellar medium (ISM) spectrum is usually explained by the response of dust particles (DPs) to the absorption of ultraviolet (UV) and visible (VIS) photons from nearby stars. With regard to the unidentified infrared (UIR) bands, the DPs are thought heated by UV and VIS photons to about 100 K thereby exciting the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). However, the UIR bands may be explained with the DPs at 2.7 K. To wit, the UIR bands form by the direct excitation of PAHs by infrared (IR) radiation induced from the absorption of cosmic microwave background (CMB) radiation in DPs by quantum electrodynamics (QED).

Background: Potential unreported infection might impair and mislead policymaking for COVID-19, and the contemporary spread of COVID-19 varies in different counties of the United States. It is necessary to estimate the cases that might be underestimated based on county-level data, to take better countermeasures against COVID-19. We suggested taking time-varying Susceptible-Infected-Recovered (SIR) models with unreported infection rates (UIR) to estimate factual COVID-19 cases in the United States. Methods: Both the SIR model integrated with unreported infection rates (SIRu) of fixed-time effect and SIRu with time-varying parameters (tvSIRu) were applied to estimate and compare the values of transmission rate (TR), UIR, and infection fatality rate (IFR) based on US county-level COVID-19 data. Results: Based on the US county-level COVID-19 data from 22 January (T1) to 20 August (T212) in 2020, SIRu was first tested and verified by Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression. Further regression of SIRu at the county-level showed that the average values of TR, UIR, and IFR were 0.034%, 19.5%, and 0.51% respectively. The ranges of TR, UIR, and IFR for all states ranged from 0.007–0.157 (mean = 0.048), 7.31–185.6 (mean = 38.89), and 0.04–2.22% (mean = 0.22%). Among the time-varying TR equations, the power function showed better fitness, which indicated a decline in TR decreasing from 227.58 (T1) to 0.022 (T212). The general equation of tvSIRu showed that both the UIR and IFR were gradually increasing, wherein, the estimated value of UIR was 9.1 (95%CI 5.7–14.0) and IFR was 0.70% (95%CI 0.52–0.95%) at T212. Interpretation: Despite the declining trend in TR and IFR, the UIR of COVID-19 in the United States is still on the rise, which, it was assumed would decrease with sufficient tests or improved countersues. The US medical system might be largely affected by severe cases amidst a rapid spread of COVID-19.

This research aims to know the students' ability to pronounce English Fricative consonants at English Language Education of FKIP UIR. The design of this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The researcher conducted the study at English Education of FKIP UIR. The researcher took 30 students from 65 second-semester students' at English Education of FKIP UIR. In this research, the researcher used the purposive sampling technique. The research instrument is a pronunciation test consisting of 26 words, and a recorder collected the data. The online Cambridge-American dictionary is used as the correction standard by the researcher. The result of data analysis showed that the average score for students' pronunciation was 19,62, with scores ranging from 7.4. Afterward, the findings revealed that students still have many problems pronouncing English fricatives, especially in /f/, /θ/, and /ʒ/ sounds. Meanwhile, the researcher found the most trouble when students were pronouncing the fricative sound /ʒ/ in the initial position. After that, the sound /f/ in the medial and /ʒ/ in the final position have the same lower score. Then, there is a problem when students pronounce the /θ/ sound and the/ sound in the final position. In conclusion, the student's ability to pronounce English fricative consonants at FKIP UIR English Language Education is fairly good.

Tetapi pada kenyataannya, banyak para mahasiswa yang mengabaikan gaya hidup sehat seperti masih banyak begadang, merokok dan aktivitas negatif lainnya. Hal ini biasanya mengakibatkan penurunan kualitas kebugaran jasmani para mahasiswa, sehingga sulit dalam mencapai prestasi akademis yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran yang jelas mengenai tingkat kebugaran jasmani mahasiswa mahasiswa penjaskesrek semester I FKIP UIR. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Subyek penelitian Mahasiswa Penjaskesrek Semester I FKIP UIR sebanyak 55 orang. Instrument penelitian berupa lembar observasi tes kebugaran jasmani. Pada penelitian ini diteliti lima komponen kebugaran jasmani antara lain lari cepat 60 meter, angkat tubu, baring duduk, loncat tegak, lari jarak menengah 1200 meter. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil tes dan pengukuran kondisi fisik atlet sepakbola yang meliputi, tes sit up, tes vertical jump, tes bleep test, tes lari cepat 20 meter, tes sit and reach dan tes shuttle run. Hasil penelitian menunjukan secara keseluruhan kondisi kebugaran jasmani mahasiswa penjaskesrek semester I FKIP UIR tergolong pada kategori kurang.

The tract for the feast of St Gregory, Beatus uir, appears in very different versions in the Old Roman and Gregorian traditions, and in more than one version in the Gregorian tradition. Close study of the melodies of these different versions and of the second-mode tract Ecce uir, attached to the feast in Corbie, Bec and Bec-influenced institutions, permits tentative conclusions to be drawn about the adoption of Roman chant in early eighth-century England and mid-eighth-century Francia. Before the concerted Carolingian effort to learn the entire Roman Mass Proper, Beatus uir appears to have been adopted north of the Alps at least twice: in early eighth-century England, and at St Denis in the 750s.

Berdasarkan pengamatan penulis di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa masih rendahnya hasil belajar praktek senam ratslag.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kontribusi kekuatan otot lengan dan kelenturan terhadap hasil belajar gerakan ratslag senam mahasiswa penjaskesrek UIR T. A. 2013/2014. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan kelenturan terhadap hasil belajar praktek senam mahasiswa Penjas. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 50 orang sampel diambil secara total sampling. Data diperoleh dengan pengukuran terhadap variabel yang saling berhubungan. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah bersifat korelasional yang bertujuan untuk melihat Kontribusi antara variabel yaitu: variabel bebas adalah Kekuatan otot lengan (X1) dan kelenturan (X2), sedangkan variabel terikatnya yaitu hasil belajar praktek senam mahasiswa Penjaskesrek UIR TA.2013/2014. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kekuatan otot lengan memberikan kontribusi terhadap hasil belajar praktek gerakan ratslag senam mahasiswa penjaskesrek UIR yaitu sebesar 64%,(2) Kelenturan memberikan kontribusi hasil belajar praktek gerakan ratslag yaitu sebesar 0.64%. (3) Kekuatan otot lengan dan kelenturan memberikan kontribusi secara bersama-sama dengan hasil belajar praktek gerakan ratslag senam mahasiswa Penjaskesrek UIR, yaitu sebesar 32,49%.

Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah bersifat korelasional yang bertujuan untuk melihat Kontribusi antara variabel yaitu: variabel bebas adalah Kekuatan otot lengan (X1) dan kelenturan (X2), sedangkan variabel terikatnya yaitu hasil belajar praktek senam mahasiswa Penjaskesrek UIR TA.2013/2014. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kekuatan otot lengan memberikan kontribusi terhadap hasil belajar praktek gerakan ratslag senam mahasiswa penjaskesrek UIR yaitu sebesar 64%,(2) Kelenturan memberikan kontribusi hasil belajar praktek gerakan ratslag yaitu sebesar 0.64%. (3) Kekuatan otot lengan dan kelenturan memberikan kontribusi secara bersama-sama dengan hasil belajar praktek gerakan ratslag senam mahasiswa Penjaskesrek UIR, yaitu sebesar 32,49%.

Анотація:
This research was related to the ability of students of Indonesia language and literature education in determining the type of sentence. It was conducted because obstacles were still found such as students could not distinguish simple items related to the type of sentence, especially in terms of the number of clauses and syntactic forms. The problems in this research were; (1) how was the ability of students of Indonesia language and literature education study program at FKIP UIR in determining the type of sentence based on the number of clauses?; (2) how was the ability of students of Indonesia language and literature education study program at FKIP UIR in determining the type of sentence based on the syntactic form?. Thus, this research aimed to find, analyze, describe, and conclude the ability of students of Indonesia language and literature education study program at FKIP UIR in determining sentence types based on the number of classes and their syntactical forms. The population in this research was all fourth semester that consist of 149 students and the sample was 15%, namely 22 students. Data collection techniques included observation and questionnaire. The theory used refers to the opinion expressed by Alwi, et al (2003) and other expert opinions. Based on the analysis conducted it can be concluded that; (1) The ability of students of Indonesia language and literature education study program at FKIP UIR in determining the type of sentence on the number of clauses based on the students’ average test score was 81.36 which was categorized “excellent”; and (2) The ability of students of Indonesia language and literature education study program at FKIP UIR in determining the type of sentence on the syntactic form based on students’ average test score was 79.31 which was categorized “good”.

The purpose of the study. The aim of this research is to determine the level (VO2Max) in the UIR Student Activity Unit. Materials and methods. The population in this study were 15 female futsal players at the Riau Islamic University. This study uses a descriptive method, which can be interpreted by describing or describing the current state of the research subject/object based on the facts that appear. the type of research is descriptive in which the variables studied are independent about the VO2 max of female futsal players which is measured by the bleeb test. Results. The average score for the VO2 Max level test for the Women's Futsal Student Activity Unit at the University of Isalam Riau with a score of 22.21%. Judging from the norm of the VO2 Max level, the category is classified as not good. Conclusions. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the VO2 Max level of the Players of the Women's Futsal Student Activity Unit with an average value of 22.21% which is located at the interval of 20.00 – 21.27 with a percentage of 40% in the category of Less Once.
