In the article the different going is analysed near classification of the valued orientations of personality and the special attention to forming of the professional valued orientations of student young people is spared during educating in establishments of higher education. The factors of influence on forming of the valued orientations of students are distinguished in an university environment. The professional valued orientations make base description of personality of professional, basic maintenance of that are the system of attitude toward the values of profession and willingness to be realized in professional activity. Pedagogical terms the professional valued orientations are optimally formed in that are studied: organization and stimulation of reflection activity of students for an orientation on those or other values, development and introduction of the special course of knowledge, that informs of the system of values, use of dialogue technologies in the process of work on forming of the valued orientations. The role of professionally-pedagogical culture of teacher of higher school is certain in forming of the professional valued orientations of students. The Professionally-pedagogical culture of teacher is examined as difficult system education, that contains components representing different parties of personality of teacher. Their pedagogical interpretation is Given. The components of model of professionally-pedagogical culture are analysed: аксиологический, technological, heuristic and personality. One of main tasks of establishments of higher education is certain: formation of pedagogical collective capable maximally positively to influence on the process of forming of the professional valued orientations of student young people. A leading role is taken the teachers of higher school in forming of the valued world of student.

Since the domain of crystallographic orientations is three-dimensional and spherical, insightful visualization of them or visualization of related probability density functions requires (i) exploitation of the effect of a given orientation on the crystallographic axes, (ii) consideration of spherical means of the orientation probability density function, in particular with respect to one-dimensional totally geodesic submanifolds, and (iii) application of projections from the two-dimensional unit sphere S^2 \subset I\!R^3 onto the unit disk D \subset I\!R^2. The familiar crystallographic `pole figures' are actually mean values of the spherical Radon {\cal R}_1 transform. The mathematical Radon {\cal R}_1 transform associates a real-valued functionfdefined on a sphere with its mean values {\cal R}_{1}f along one-dimensional circles with centre {\cal O}, the origin of the coordinate system, and spanned by two unit vectors. The family of views suggested here defines ω sections in terms of simultaneous orientational relationships of two different crystal axes with two different specimen directions, such that their superposition yields a user-specified pole probability density function. Thus, the spherical averaging and the spherical projection onto the unit disk determine the distortion of the display. Commonly, spherical projections preserving either volume or angle are favoured. This rich family displaysfcompletely,i.e.iffis given or can be determined unambiguously, then it is uniquely represented by several subsets of these views. A computer code enables the user to specify and control interactively the display of linked views, which is comprehensible as the user is in control of the display.

This study examined the socialization of seven promoted and seven aspiring vice-principal candidates in a large suburban school district. Evidence from these interviews indicates that the following socialization experiences were highly valued in the selection process, especially regarding the promoted candidates: having administrative experience at the system level; possessing a focused orientation toward preparation; understanding and practising instructional leadership; developing a strong support system (e.g., mentoring); and possessing highly valued personal qualities such as being change-oriented and demonstrating a positive orientation to the role. Recommendations for the improvement of vice-principal promotion programs focused on the importance of specific and clear feedback to all candidates and the role of school districts in proactively facilitating candidate preparation.

Background:This study investigates the role of political orientation and religiosity in Italy for moral foundations endorsement, in light of Haidt and Graham’sMoral Foundations Theory. This theory hypothesizes that moral systems are based on five dimensions (i.e.,Harm/care, Fairness/reciprocity, Ingroup/loyalty, Authority/respect, and Purity/sanctity) that, in turn, can be grouped into two broader dimensions (BindingandIndividualizing).Objective:We aim to explore and extend the moral foundation assumptions to the Italian context predicting greater endorsement of binding values among Italian Right-wingers as compared with Left-wingers. Given that the relations between politics and Catholic Church have always been intertwined in modern Italy, we also extend this line of inquiry by examining the role of religiosity.Method:Two hundred and forty-eight Italian participants filled out a self-report measure including theMoral Foundations Questionnaires.Results: Individuals attach considerable relevance to individualizing moral foundations rather than to binding moral foundations; conservatives and regular religious attenders attach more relevance to binding moral foundations as compared with individuals with a Left-wing political orientation and less religious people.Conclusions:Our results show that the Italians’ political orientation emerges as a significant element in the differential adoption of moral foundations. Furthermore, considering the historical and fundamental role of the Catholic religion in the Italian society and political life, our results confirm that binding values are particularly valued in groups such as practicing Catholic, where institutions, families, and authorities are valued.

In this paper we propose a novel workflow for the estimation of global image orientations given relative orientations between pairs of overlapping images. Our approach is convex and independent on initial values. First, global rotations are estimated in a relaxed semidefinite program (SDP) and refined in an iterative least squares adjustment in the tangent space of SO(3). A critical aspect is the handling of outliers in the relative orientations. We present a novel heuristic graph based approach for filtering the relative rotations that outperforms state-of-the-art robust rotation averaging algorithms. In a second part we make use of point-observations, tracked over a set of overlapping images and formulate a linear homogeneous system of equations to transfer the scale information between triplets of images, using estimated global rotations and relative translation directions. The final step consists of refining the orientation parameters in a robust bundle adjustment. The proposed approach handles outliers in the homologous points and relative orientations in every step of the processing chain. We demonstrate the robustness of the procedure on synthetic data. Moreover, the performance of our approach is illustrated on real world benchmark data.

The purpose of this study was to explore entrepreneurial orientation as a cognitive construct attributable to individuals and its relationship with innovation and performance from an industry ecosystem perspective. The study adopted a mixed design approach involving exploration of the factors and a diagnosis of their hypothesized relationships. A mixed sampling of members of a leather industry association and the linked industry institutions was carried out with a 76% response rate achieved. Quantitative data was collected from key decision-makers as informants of firms in Kenya’s leather industry using a questionnaire for guided interviews. The Delphi Technique and a pilot study (Cronbach’s Alpha 0.700 – 0.772) were used to establish instrument reliability. Factor analysis was performed on the study variables using Principal Component Analysis before inferential analysis. Entrepreneurial orientation showed validity as a second-order latent construct comprising three cognitive dimensions, namely vision for growth, opportunity recognition and calculated risk-taking. Entrepreneurial orientation and its antecedents were established as determinants of performance of value-system actors in an industry (R2=0.422, F=13.417, p=0.000). It further showed that this relationship is partially mediated by innovation by the firms (Sobel test Z-value = 3.30449610, p=0.00095147). The study recommends extension of this research to other industries.

We trained a multilayer perceptron with backpropagation to perform stimulus orientation discrimination at multiple references using biologically plausible values as input and output. Hidden units are necessary for good performance only when the network must operate at multiple reference orientations. The orientation tuning curves of the hidden units change with reference. Our results suggest that at least for simple parameter discriminations such as orientation discrimination, one of the main functions of further processing in the visual system beyond striate cortex is to combine signals representing stimulus and reference.

This article reviews a number of theoretical and scientific approaches in respect to specifics of value orientation formation and manifestation in adolescents and youth. The study of value orientations was carried out by review of the scientific positions on describing the process of values formation in ontogenesis, the need of implication in different human activities for development of value orientation in childhood, the impact of the broad range of factors that shape the value orientations, the correlation of values with structural elements of the personality etc. The experimental study initially undertaken in 2015 and repeated in 2019 reflects the specifics of the value orientations dynamics in adolescents and young people within the pre-university and university levels of education system. The content shows up-to-date nature of the research and outlines prospects for further priority in investigative area. System wartości nastolatków i młodych ludzi: przegląd i obecna sytuacja W niniejszym artykule dokonano przeglądu szeregu podejść teoretycznych i naukowych w odniesieniu do specyfiki kształtowania i manifestacji systemu wartości wśród nastolatków i młodych ludzi. Badanie orientacji wartości zostało przeprowadzone poprzez przegląd stanowisk naukowych dotyczących opisu procesu kształtowania się wartości w ontogenezie, potrzeby implikacji w różnych działaniach ludzkich dla rozwoju orientacji wartości w dzieciństwie, wpływu szerokiego spektrum czynników kształtujących orientacje wartości, korelacji wartości z elementami strukturalnymi osobowości itp. Eksperymentalne studium, rozpoczęte w 2015 roku i powtórzone w 2019 roku, odzwierciedla specyfikę dynamiki orientacji wartości u nastolatków i młodych ludzi w ramach systemu edukacji przeduczelnianej i uniwersyteckiej. Treść pokazuje aktualny charakter badań i zarysowuje perspektywy dalszych badań w tym obszarze.

Abstract It is well known that fish target strength can be affected by fish behaviour. In particular, the specific orientation between a target (fish) and an echosounder system is critical in interpreting the apparent target strength. This situation is further complicated for Doppler current-profiler systems that have an array of diverging beams and where each beam will interact with targets with a different orientation. When targets themselves have random orientations, each beam will see the same range of target strengths and the average values would be the same. However, if targets such as schooling fish have a preferred orientation, then an asymmetry is present and different target strengths can be expected. This hypothesis is explored using observations of Norwegian spring-spawning herring (Clupea harengus) under a variety of schooling conditions. When schooling fish are migrating and have well-defined, coherent orientations, differences in backscatter strength of about 5 dB can be seen depending on beam orientation. This difference disappears when fish are not actively migrating and so do not have coherent orientation. These differences can be used to infer behaviour of schooling fish but they also indicate that caution must be exercised when averaging backscatter data from separate Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) beams.

A thousand-year tradition of «honouring the bookish» is one of the most important components of the educational system and social enlightenment, which is moved, among other things, by intellectual and spiritual reflection of the educators Cyril and Methodius. However, despite the fact that the national holiday of Slavic Alphabet and Culture has been present for twenty years, in modern conditions of weakening the historical memory and the significance of Christianity, there is a serious lack of information about the lives and activities of Konstantin the Philosopher, Methodius and their followers in the spiritual life of Slavdom and establishment of Russian mentality. That is why the great educational endeavor of the brothers of Thessaloniki, appropriately valued only in modern times, requires support from educational systems. Elaborating the details of historical and cultural preconditions to the appearance of the first Slavic ABC books, Bible translations and their existence in the Slavic world is extremely important to the future teachers of the Russian language and literature, and especially in the conditions of wide spread misinformation and decreasing amount of academic hours for studying the disciplines of historical and linguistic sciences, which, in one way or another, touch upon the problems of the origin of the ancient literary and scriptory language of the Slavic and its establishment under the influence of Russian literary language. Such position presupposes the need of providing a number of scientific and educational events in association with Memorial Day of Slavic Teachers and other dates, dedicated to language and book-learning. These events aid to redeeming the lost educational opportunities in bachelors’ philological training, as they help to build up beneficial cultural, educational and spiritual space, which is based on the traditions of «honouring the bookish», dating back to the Slavic enlighteners. A seventeen-year experience of holding such events helps not only to generalize existing study material, but also to introduce a system of extracurricular communication among educators, students and schoolchildren, contributing to integration of educational and disciplinary processes with scientific research work.

Abstract Family members are essential contributors to Q0L of LTC residents. This paper analyzes how the system views family’s role in residents’ QoL and enables or inhibits family involvement. Our analysis of 21 policies that regulate LTC in four Canadian Provinces reveal differences in their portrayal of residents’ families. In many policies, family roles are characterized procedurally (task-oriented) or relationally (interactive) by policy type. Operational standards (regulatory policies) linked to licensing employ more formal terminology, while LTC program guidelines use facilitative language to engage families and build relationships through voluntary means. Specific examples of orientation and admission procedures, care protocols including use of restraints, right to live at risk, and end-of-life care are presented to reveal inter-provincial variations. We argue there are opportunities to further engage families within the current regulatory framework.

Results of orientation definition precision research of a satellite due to TRIAD algorithm are described in this article.Investigation was conducted at referenced maximal admissible meanings of measurement unit errors and also elucidated vectors coordinate displacement in dependence of microsatellite orientation angles initial values at which the greatest errors of determining orientation angles could have place.Findings of performed researches will give an opportunity of orientation angles definition accuracy increasing of a spacecraft.Investigation of orientation accuracy is considered to be a quite cumbersome and time consuming challenge so as a consequence for resolving this problem interactive computer model of microsatellite orientation system was developed and created including a special tab for orientation angles accuracy studying of microsatellite by means of TRIAD algorithm.Interactive computer model allows in dialog mode to consider measurement unit instrumental errors effect on orientation system accuracy of microsatellite. Satellite dynamic features also are built into this model which makes possible to analyze precision of satellite orientation system in whole.It is easy to change algorithm of orientation determining, for instance, to QUEST algorithm. In its turn it helps estimate one more important task – to compare different algorithm efficiency of satellite orientation.

The article deals with reflexive analysis of the peculiarities of the correlation of the components of value-orientation and motivational spheres of man. The formation of the individual as a full member and co-creator of the surrounding reality is characterized by a stable system of internal motives – motivational aspirations, taking into account social requirements and a personified system of values. The result of the interaction between man and the world is the discovery of a person’s synthesized expression of cost priorities or clear orientations and motives on the path to self-improvement. The complex and multi-faceted structure of value-orientation and motivational components of the individual involves a conscious progression to the implementation of a significant number of strategies, principles, criteria and parameters of their research. Therefore, it is expedient to use a systematic approach to the knowledge of the value orientations of man in the relationship of his personality and social guidance, creating a motivational field of its activity. On the basis of empirical search, types of value-motivational profile of respondents were distinguished: progressive, regressive, impulsive, expressive, trivial. It is proved that value orientations of a person are formed under the influence of conscious choice of cost priorities and are manifested in the through motive of committing. Valuable orientations are the basis for realizing the personality of rational choice of approaches and principles in achieving positive (from the evaluative positions of the person himself) results of his actions, whereas the process or procedure of this choice is based on the motives that determine the tools (means, forms, mechanisms and methods) of direct activity . Personality is guided by the choice of strategies for self-improvement, mainly by a system of values, which, transforming into a person’s value orientations, produce its motives-the desire for full self-realization under the actual conditions of situational everyday life.

The aim of this article is to highlight research among young people living in and around Krakow regarding their axiology. The research was analyzed taking into account publicly available COBS representative survey data, as well as research by another author who carried out a similar project in 2016 in Wroclaw. Taking into account the nationwide (representative) research regarding axiology in the plague period, this article notes some discrepancies in terms of values, as the respondents value faith the least, they attach increasingly less importance to external appearance as well as money, at the same time they value tolerance, acceptance, love, friendship and only family the most. Thus, one can observe a significant difference in the understanding or determination of life strategies of the younger generation in relation to the general population of Polish women and men, for whom family and faith are of great significance. Knowledge as a value is more highly valued by respondents than family, friends giving way to health. Honesty and freedom were rated the highest. It can be concluded that for the surveyed people affiliate values are important (love, friendship, tolerance, freedom), with a slightly smaller orientation to values building the sense of stability and success in life (money, appearance), and the least orientation to autotelic values, i.e. faith. The article discusses criteria for selecting the vibration protection for the spacecraft inertial orientation system. The considered vibration protection system allows providing acceptable amplitude acceleration for the gyroscopic device sensitive elements under vibration impact on the device body during the spacecraft launching and high angular stability of the position of the sensitive elements relative to the inertial coordinate system during a long period of operation (15 years) in orbit. The proposed vibration protection system consists of shock absorbers (springs) with stable high elastic characteristics under all factors of operation in the outer space and dynamic vibration dampers. The article presents a method for determining the parameters of dynamic vibration dampers taking into account the characteristics of the shock absorber, critical for the damping system of an inertial device. The proposed method for adjusting dynamic vibration dampers consists in suppressing vibrations at the natural frequency f1 of the shock absorption system and providing acceptable values of the gain coefficients of the structure resonant vibration amplitudes near the natural frequency f1. Certain characteristics of the damping system allow realizing the permissible vibration amplification coefficients at resonance, without significantly affecting the level of vibration suppression in the natural frequency zone of the vibration protection object

Mobile Mapping is widely used for collecting large amounts of geo-referenced data. An important role plays sensor fusion, in order to evaluate multiple sensors such as laser scanner and cameras jointly. This requires to determine the relative orientation between sensors. Based on data of a <i>RIEGL</i> VMX-250 mobile mapping system equipped with two laser scanners, four optional cameras, and a highly precise GNSS/IMU system, we propose an approach to improve camera orientations. A manually determined orientation is used as an initial approximation for matching a large number of points in optical images and the corresponding projected scan images. The search space of the point correspondences is reduced to skylines found in both the optical as well as the scan image. The skyline determination is based on alpha shapes, the actual matching is done via an adapted ICP algorithm. The approximate values of the relative orientation are used as starting values for an iterative resection process. Outliers are removed at several stages of the process. Our approach is fully automatic and improves the camera orientation significantly.

Introduction: The article considers social-psychological features of value orientations of patients with alcohol dependence. The state of the problem under consideration in the psychological literature has been studied. The analysis of empirical research of value orientations of patients with alcohol dependence has been conducted. The aim: The aim of the paper is to identify social-psychological features of value orientations of patients with al cohol dependence. Materials and methods: The research has been conducted at full-time treatment department of Transcarpathian Oblast Narcological Dispensary (Uzhhorod, Ukraine). The experiment involved 42 respondents (29 men and 13 women) of different age, the department patients, suffering on alcoholism. The techniques have been performed individually with each patient. The following methods have been used: 1. Method of «Valuable Orientation» by M. Rokich. 2. Questionnaire on Terminal Values (QTV) by I.G.Senin. 3. Purpose-life orientation test (method of PLO) by D.A. Leontiev. Results: It has been found out that the group hierarchy of values in cases with chronic alcoholism is characterised by an explicit orientation to specific vital values. There is a characteristic reverse development of the value sphere of an individual in cases with chronic alcoholism, which is displayed in the formation of orientations on the lower levels of the value system. The results of empirical research have shown that among the patients with alcohol dependence the preference is given to terminal values, values – goals. Conclusions: It has been generalised that value orientations are the component of the structure of an individual, which reflects the life experience gained by an individual in the individual development, and represents the core of consciousness, taking into account how personality makes decisions on important vital issues.

The authors rely on the theoretical position that value orientations should determine the meaning, validity and direction of pedagogical transformations, because values serve as basic norms and principles shaping consciousness and behaviour of people in society. The aim of the study is to determine features of formation of pedagogical University students’ value system during their period of higher professional education. Authors found that in the first year of training at a pedagogical University, there is no regularity in the prevalence of “polarity” in value orientations, i.e. there are both altruistic and selfish values. In the second year, there is more focus on the “internal” orientation of the values, on their egoistic tendencies. In the third year there is a certain balance in individual and social direction of the values and value orientations. In the fourth year, there is a “public direction “ of the students’ values, manifested in greater democratization, collectivization, in humanization of life ideals, i.e. in the fourth year under influence of industrial practices and studying professional disciplines professional identity of pedagogical universities students begins to shape. It is proved that the system of values in case of pedagogical university students develops during the period of their higher professional education.

In this paper, the common dimensional-structure of measures of Big Five personality, social attitudes, personal values, conservatism, and ideological beliefs (right-wing authoritarianism and social dominance orientation) was investigated in two convenience samples of adults (Study 1, paper-and-pencil, N = 302; Study 2, Internet, N = 154). A principal components analysis resulted in a three-factor solution in both samples. In particular, a strong ideology factor emerged that can be interpreted as representing an ideological belief system. It is characterized by a right-wing, conservative orientation, social prejudice, ideological beliefs, the value orientations of self-enhancement, low self-transcendence, and the personality trait of low Openness to Experience. The other two factors comprised socially desirable personality traits and values, and a blend of personality and personal-value orientations characterized by energy, activity, openness, and curiosity, respectively. The results are interpreted in relation to recent structural and process models of personality, ideological beliefs, and social attitudes.

This article is devoted to the theoretical and practical analysis of the study of professional orientation of future teachers. The definition of the essence of the concept of «personality orientation» is analyzed. Orientation is the main structural component of personality in the form of a system of motives, which determines the selectivity of attitudes and activities of the individual; the basis of personality structure, which determines its proactive behavior, which goes beyond the reaction to external stimuli. It acts as a regulator of human behavior and activities. The problem of professional orientation of the person is studies and the peculiarities of the professional orientation of future specialists in the pedagogical field are substantiated. Professional orientation is determined by professional needs, interests, inclinations, guidelines and values of the individual. The development of professional orientation occurs in the process of professionalization of the individual, associated with the development of consciousness and self-awareness of the individual and affects the acquisition of professional knowledge, skills and abilities. Professional orientation is a manifestation of the general orientation of the individual in work. Professional orientation of the individual as one of the leading conditions for the success of the individual in professional activities and as a basic characteristic of the professional’s personality. Professional and pedagogical orientation of the individual is one of the main in the personality structure of the teacher, which determines the system of its leading motives, interests, values, meaning, encourages the development of professionally important qualities, reflects a certain emotional and value attitude of a person to the teaching profession, manifests itself in a lasting in her and the student, and also affects the entire life of the individual and determines the characteristics of behavior. The main methods of research of features of professional orientation of future teachers are analyzed, meeting the requirements of standardization, validity, reliability: general orientation and professional orientation of the future teachers and their value orientations. The sample, stages of empirical research are characterized and the obtained results of studying the peculiarities of professional orientation of future pedagogical specialists are analyzed.

The subject of this research is the motivational and value orientation of students towards professional activity. Based on the analysis of literary sources, it was established that motivational and value orientation is an integrative dynamic system, incorporating the interconnected professional motives, interests, goals, personal attitudes that ensure the choice of profession. The article analyzes the peculiarities of motivational and value orientation of college students essential for determination of the significant cognitive motives and disaccord between such its components as personal growth, responsibility and presence of a strong desire to pursue the selected profession. In the course of research, the following set of psychodiagnostic instruments was used: original questionnaire, morphological test for life values (V. F. Sopov, L. V. Karpushin), methodology for determination of key motives of choosing profession (E. M. Pavlyutenkov), value orientations (M. Rokeach), methods of mathematical-statistical processing of the results (Spearman&rsquo;s correlation analysis, Mann&ndash;Whitney parametrical method of comparison of two U-criterion samplings). Theoretical importance of this study consists in the analysis of modern conceptual approaches towards the problem of motivational and value orientation of college students towards professional activity that creates foundation for further research in this area, and solution of such problem as rejection of the acquired specialty.

The general education school is the most important link in the formation of value orientations and the value system of students, which is due to the general content of the educational goals of the school and the student's relationship with teachers, friends and other participants in school life. The school is of decisive importance from the point of view of the community of value orientations and the system of values of students, the inclusion of national and universal values in them, the solution of global problems of moral and aesthetic education, the formation of a single system of cognitive values. And how does mathematics or mathematical education affect a person's value orientation, the direction of his life? Can a person, in certain situations, give preference to similar values over other values? And what is the role of mathematics education in the value system of the student and the person as a whole? The answer depends on what we mean by mathematical education or what goals it pursues. If the process of teaching mathematics is reduced to teaching mathematics, then mathematics with its formal structure of lan- guage and abstract figures is far from life and school interests (with rare exceptions in each class for individual students). Mathematical knowledge also does not lead to wisdom and philosophy of life, it even reduces the stu- dent's vital activity. However, if the process of teaching mathematics is aimed at implementing education through mathematics, then the role of mathematics increases as a means of forming cognitive, aesthetic, moral, mental and other values. This view of mathematics gives the student the opportunity to appreciate the objects studied with the help of mathematics, to look at the world in a different way. He feels more confident in different real life situations. The article deals with the problem of the formation of value orientations of students in the process of teaching mathematics. The dependence of the problem on various types of internal and external factors in the formation of value orientations in this process is considered. The problem of the formation of different levels of value orientations in the process of teaching mathematics is also considered. These are the perception, response, or recognition of value, the acquisition of value orientations, the organization of value orientations and the spread of a value orientation or a set of orientations towards activity.

In this work, we use molecular dynamics simulations to investigate the system of magnetic ellipsoidal nanoparticles with two different orientations of the dipole inside each particle. We consider dipoles directed along or perpendicular to the main axis of rotation. Such investigation allows us to determine the influence of the particles' anisotropy on the behavior and properties of the system. The initial susceptibility of the system was investigated and a cluster analysis was made. The obtained results revealed the influence of the orientation of the magnetic moment inside the particles of the same shape on the self-organization of the system, its microscopic and macroscopic properties. For the case of a parallel main orientation axis, the following was found: the initial susceptibility of particles whose shape is close to spherical increases faster and reaches higher values than in the case of ellipsoidal particles. The perpendicular orientation of the magnetic moment does not affect the initial susceptibility as significantly as in the previous case: increase in the magnetic moment leads to increase in the initial susceptibility, while the shape of the particle practically does not affect it.

Fertility decline in Russia makes us look for ways to change this negative trend. The authors analyze the psychological causes affecting reproductive attitudes of young people. The sample of the study was made of students of pedagogical University, as they will form family values and reproductive attitudes in the younger generation. The study obtained data indicating the impact of integration and balance of the system of value orientations on the readiness of young people to family life. As disintegration of values increases, the desire and willingness of young people to build family relationships and to educate children decrease. The authors note a higher level of readiness for family life and family values in men, while for girls the intrapersonal conflict between work and family is resolved in favor of a career to the detriment of the family and children. The system of youth values is dominated by consumer orientation, entertainment orientation of life values and interests, which leads to a weakening of reproductive attitudes and behavior. The authors believe that the work aimed at the integration of values among young people will increase the value of family and procreation.

Super-high density (SHD) is the latest innovation in almond growing. This new cropping system needs to be studied in different climates, soils, latitudes and cultivars in order to promote more efficient and sustainable orchard management. This study shows the effects of two row orientations and different canopy positions on leaf area index (LAI), photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) and biological, phenological and agronomical parameters of a SHD almond orchard. Total bud number and flower bud number were higher for N-S row orientation and more wood buds were detected in top layers. LAI was strongly influenced by layer, but not by row orientation. Row orientation did not affect blooming or ripening phenology. Fruit number per layer was higher for North–South (N-S) row orientation and in middle layers; fruit set showed the opposite trend to flower bud and fruit numbers, achieving higher values for East–West (E-W) row orientation. Hulled fruit yield was not affected by row orientation but by canopy height. N-S oriented rows showed a greater number of empty nuts than E-W, but no differences were found between layers. We concluded that in SHD almond orchards, row orientation is determinant for sustainable crop management.

In aerial photogrammetry, information on camera position and orientation from auxiliary systems can be used to supplement or replace ground control information when the latter is inadequate. High-altiude aerial photography has experimentally been combined with inertial measurement of camera position and orientation over the Rocky Mountains west of Calgary. The inertial system output was compared with corresponding values from various photogrammetric adjustments for analysis purposes. In this experiment, it was found that the absolute position coordinates and orientation angles, as given by the inertial system without updates, were unsatisfactory. However, the changes in these quantities between consecutive stations agreed with the photogrammetry to a degree at least as close as the reliability of the photogrammetry itself, and even better agreement was obtained for rotation-invariant func-tions of these changes of position and orientation. Agreement was also improved by ignoring those perspective centers whose position coordinates gave the greatest residuals in the photogrammetric adjustment, indicating that inclusion of auxiliary information should improve the quality of the contribution of those images to the adjustment.

The article examines the value orientations of ethnophor (a representative of a certain ethnic culture and national mentality) based on a theoretical analysis of foreign and domestic research. During the epoch of digitalisation, it is impossible to leave out the problems of ethnos itself, its ethno-cultural peculiarities, socialization, national mentality, professional and career value orientations of Caucasian women. The article reveals the designation of a woman of the North Caucasus ethnic group, values, the national way of family relations. It is emphasized that the contemporary socio-economic reality makes its own adjustments during the period of digitalization despite the traditional culture and ethno standards. In the empirical part of the study, the hypothesis was tested: being the most important part of the social environment, ethnic culture despite the ethno value’s digitalization is formed due to ethnos’s historical development and along with the preservation of ethnic mentality and ethnic character of the women ethnophors, influences the value orientations including the women’s career orientation. The study involved 100 women of different nationalities of North Caucasus aged 30 to 45 years, different fields of activity: teachers, psychologists, officials, trade workers, service providers. The set of research methods included the concept “Career Anchors” by E. Schein, the principles of the diagnosis of value orientations in a career, the translation and adaptation by V.A. Chiker, V.E. Vinokurova, projective methods for determining career orientations, the principle “Value orientations” (M. Rokich), the Questionnaire of ethno value orientations (R.R. Nakochova). The results of the study confirm the hypothesis and indicate that the ethno values are a core element in the value orientation system even during the era of digitalization, which becomes apparent concerning social situation, the capability to incarnate personal goals and determines the level of intergroup acceptance and recognition of career orientations of Caucasian women.

Due to the collapse of the Soviet system of military professional orientation it has become necessary to review the work with pre-conscription youth oriented toward military service; the work, includes, among other things, expanding a network of cadet educational organizations. The main goals in forming the military-professional orientation of pre-conscription youth are achieved by providing resources for the educational process, service and extracurricular activities. Motivational and value-based attitude toward military service is developed throughout the entire educational period; this contributes to the formation of cadets’ readiness to become career military officers and choose military service as a priority type of professional activity. Having analyzed psychological and pedagogical literature, we came to the conclusion that the system of military orientation of pre-conscription youth currently implemented in cadet corps, will contribute to the effective development of young people’s orientation toward military service. PV modules tilted and oriented toward east and west directions gain gradually more importance as an alternative to the presently-preferred south (north in the Southern Hemisphere) orientation and it is shown to become economically superior even under the reimbursement of feed-in tariff (FIT). This is a consequence of the increasing spread between the decreasing costs of self-consumed solar power and the costs for power from the grid. One-minute values of irradiance were measured by silicon sensors at different orientations and tilt angles in Hannover (Germany) over three years. We show that south-oriented collectors give the highest electrical power during the day, whereas combinations of east and west orientations (E-W) result in the highest self-consumption rate (SC), and combinations of southeast and southwest (SE-SW) orientations result in the highest degree of autarky (AD), although they reduce the yearly PV Power by 5–6%. Moreover, the economic analysis of PV systems without FIT shows that the SE-SW and E-W combinations have the lowest electricity cost and they are more beneficial in terms of internal rate of return (IRR), compared to the S orientation at the same tilt. For PV systems with FIT, the S orientation presently provides the highest transfer of money from the supplier. However, as a consequence of the continuing decline of FIT, the economic advantage of S orientation is decreasing. E-W and SE-SW orientations are more beneficial for the owner as soon as FIT decreases to 7 Ct/kWh. East and west orientations of PV modules do not only have benefits for the individual owner but avoid high costs for storing energy—regardless who would own the storage facilities—and by avoiding high noon peaks of solar energy production during sunny periods, which would become an increasing problem for the grid if more solar power is installed. Furthermore, two types of commonly used PV software (PVSOL and PVsyst) were used to simulate the system performance. The comparison with measurements showed that both PV software underestimate SC and AD for all studied orientations, leading to the conclusion that improvements are necessary in modelling.

The study undertaken explored the factors of quality of working-life experiences in organizations. The study focused on 100 employees holding middle managerial positions in various organizations. The Cronbach’s alpha of the questionnaire was found to be 0.862& Pearson correlation was 0.924 (p<0.001). The factor analysis of the component ‘quality of working-life experiences’ led to the extraction of 3 factors from various organizations. The three emerging factors were “relationship-sustenance orientation”, “futuristic and professional orientation” and “self-deterministic and systemic orientation”. The results indicate that these factors have substantial roles to play in satiating the needs of the employees and how at middle managerial level different aspects are valued and employed for developing a unique and inimitable quality of working life within their socio-technical systems for eliciting favorable job-related responses..

<p><strong>Abstract.</strong> Precision Agriculture (PA) management systems are considered among the top ten revolutions in the agriculture industry during the last couple decades. Generally, the PA is a management system that aims to integrate different technologies as navigation and imagery systems to control the use of the agriculture industry inputs aiming to enhance the quality and quantity of its output, while preserving the surrounding environment from any harm that might be caused due to the use of these inputs. On the other hand, during the last decade, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) showed great potential to enhance the use of remote sensing and imagery sensors for different PA applications such as weed management, crop health monitoring, and crop row detection. UAV imagery systems are capable to fill the gap between aerial and terrestrial imagery systems and enhance the use of imagery systems and remote sensing for PA applications. One of the important PA applications that uses UAV imagery systems, and which drew lots of interest is the crop row detection, especially that such application is important for other applications such as weed detection and crop yield predication. This paper introduces a new crop row detection methodology using low-cost UAV RGB imagery system. The methodology has three main steps. First, the RGB images are converted into HSV color space and the Hue image are extracted. Then, different sections are generated with different orientation angles in the Hue images. For each section, using the PCA of the Hue values in the section, an analysis can be performed to evaluate the variances of the Hue values in the section. The crop row orientation angle is detected as the same orientation angle of the section that provides the minimum variances of Hue values. Finally, a scan line is generated over the Hue image with the same orientation angle of the crop rows. The scan line computes the average of the Hue values for each line in the Hue image similar to the detected crop row orientation. The generated values provide a graph full of peaks and valleys which represent the crop and soil rows. The proposed methodology was evaluated using different RGB images acquired by low-cost UAV for a Canola field. The images were taken at different flight heights and different dates. The achieved results proved the ability of the proposed methodology to detect the crop rows at different cases.</p>

The output tracking problem is investigated for a nonlinear affine system with multiple modes of continuous control inputs. We convert the family of nonlinear affine systems under consideration into a switched hybrid system by introducing a multiple-valued logic variable. The Fliess functional expansion is adopted to express the input and output relationship of the switched hybrid system. The optimal switching control is determined for a multiple-step output tracking performance index. The proposed approach is applied to a multitarget tracking problem for a flight vehicle aiming for one real target with several decoys flying around it in the terminal guidance course. These decoys appear as apparent targets and have to be distinguished with the approaching of the flight vehicle. The guidance problem of one flight vehicle versus multiple apparent targets should be considered if no large miss distance might be caused due to the limitation of the flight vehicle maneuverability. The target orientation at each time interval is determined. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The presented article analyzes the internal interconnections of the value orientation systems of male convicts who are serving sentences of imprisonment. The work was carried out on the basis of an empirical study carried out in correctional institutions of general and strict regimes of detention, correctional institutions of a strict regime of detention for convicts with acute tuberculosis. Using the methods of mathematical statistics (factorial and correlation analysis), the peculiarities of the intrapsychic structure of the system of value orientations of convicts were revealed. It is shown that along with the general and natural simpli-fication of the content of the value-semantic organization of the personality of convicts in comparison with law-abiding citizens, characteristic features of the latent structure of values are noted, which, in turn, can not only affect the behavior of the individual, but also prevent successful resocialization after release from places of deprivation of liberty. The characteristic features of the intrasystemic in-terconnections of the value orientations of convicts with acute tuberculosis were revealed. The findings may have theoretical and practical significance for the or-ganization of psychocorrectional work with convicts in places of detention.

The results of two studies, with 15 and 10 college students practicing the Transcendental Meditation (TM) and TM-Sidhi program (ages: M = 28 yr.; M = 29 yr.), and 10 and 9 controls (ages: M = 22.9 yr.; M = 26.2 yr.), respectively, indicate that advanced participants of the TM and TM-Sidhi program may have a cognitive set oriented toward more positive values. Subjects in the TM-TM-Sidhi program exhibited a better recall of positively valued words than the control group in a long-term memory task (45 min.), and they needed fewer exposures to recognize positive than negative words at lower absolute thresholds than the controls in a tachistoscopic experiment. They appraised “significant others” more favorably than the control group on LaForge's Interpersonal Checklist, while self-appraisal was high in both groups. A third study of 11 college students, M age of 22.3 yr., yielded an inverse relationship between differential recognition thresholds for positive and negative affect terms on a tachistoscopic task and the reported experienced intensity of the corresponding affects. This suggests that enhanced perception of certain affect terms may be a function of more frequent experiences of those affects.

Introduction. In the actions of football players, due to the dynamics of the playing field, the ability of perception is of great importance for game effectiveness. This instruction not only determines good orientation in the game, but also significantly facilitates perception in action. Therefore, considering its importance for an effective game, apt methods are being sought out to improve the level of this disposition among football players. Aim of the work and research questions. This study is of utilitarian nature. The main research objective is aimed at modifying the current concept of teaching methodology in sports games on the example of football, which involves activation of a player’s orientational and spatial spheres. The following research questions were posed: • Will the implementation of the Fitlight system for teaching football techniques improve the spatial orientation of young football players? • Will the use of the Fitlight system in training increase the level of action in the game among young footballers? • Can football training be improved by introducing the Fitlight system? Materials and test methods. The method of pedagogical experiment was used to study the effectiveness (learning and teaching) of special motor skills. The technique of parallel groups was used: experimental (E) and control (C). In experimental research, the independent variable was the method of developing and transmitting information using the Fitlight system based on the mental action of the player, c considering the development of spatial orientation in the process of teaching movement activities (special techniques). The dependent variables were measurable results concerning development of the spatial orientation level in practical activities and the players’ mastery of technical activities in game conditions. Research was conducted on an annual basis (in 2018-2019) among young football players of RKS Garbarnia Kraków - junior class C1 - age of the respondents: 14-15 years. The study participants comprised 30 young players, divided into 2 subgroups: experimental (E) and control (C), each consisting of 15 players. The experimental group participated in the experimental training unit twice a week; practical classes lasting 90 minutes. A total of 60 training units were conducted. These classes were carried out using the Fitlight system to teach technical activities that were characterised by a greater pool of exercises in the field of spatial orientation and also including greater mentalisation (concentration, divisibility of attention). Results. Analysis of the research results allowed to confirm the significance of training using the Fitlight system. The experimental group, in relation to the control, demonstrated higher values in the level of spatial orientation and, above all, higher parameters in the simulated game.

As the externalized carrier of intrinsic value, value decision-making is an important factor affecting the social value system. As an old Chinese saying goes, “A friend in need is a friend indeed,” crisis environment provides the background for the conflicts of multiple values, while individual social value orientation (SVO) determines the ranking of the value states. This paper defined the SVO types by means of Slider Measure method on the basis of environment description, constructed a decision-making game model in accordance with SVO differences, and finally analysed the mechanism of people’s decision-making. Taking the epidemic situation as the background, this paper conducted an empirical analysis with the sample of college students. The results showed that the most SVO types of college students were prosocial orientation, followed by individualistic orientation, altruistic orientation, and competitive orientation. In the crisis environment, individual SVO type and decision-making constituted a mapping relationship. There was an equilibrium point in the decision of prosocial orientation, and the dominant decision of altruistic orientation or individualistic orientation is relatively stable.

The influence of position and motion signals on saccades was studied in two dimensions (2D) using a double step-ramp paradigm. We showed the presence of a predictive component in 2D catch-up saccade programming that is based on motion signals and influences both saccade amplitude and orientation. Interestingly, a significant proportion of catch-up saccades was characterized by a large curvature or a sudden change of direction in midflight for large values of retinal slip. For these saccades, a quantitative analysis showed that their trajectory could be explained by an asynchrony between position and motion signals in saccade programming. When the saccade trajectory was not straight, position error was always available first and influenced the initial orientation of the saccade, whereas retinal slip determined the final orientation. This new paradigm could be used in electrophysiological experiments, where it should prove to be very useful to study position and motion pathways separately in catch-up saccades.

The spiritual culture of the individual is a system of worldviews and beliefs that are realized in relation to themselves, other people and the world around them. This is an essential basis for the development of future professionals. The values ​​of the teacher can be a source of motivation, action planning, constructive guidelines of consciousness. It is usually based on the ideals of Goodness, Beauty, Truth, and Love. It defines the norms of the individual and usually has an individual and a social framework. It can be the basis for addressing the purpose of man, the meaning of life, the highest achievements of mankind, which determine the success of society: economic, ideological, cultural, social, political, etc. Determining the level of development of spiritual culture and values ​​of teachers, it is found that there is a relationship, interaction, mutual determination between the level of development of a personal and professional component of spiritual culture and need-emotional orientation of personality, spiritual potential, value orientation. There is an average correlation between the development of the spiritual culture of teachers and orientation, character, communication, intelligence. There is a high correlation between the development of spiritual culture and self-awareness (0,734) and orientation (0,625) of teachers. It is noted that the psychological peculiarities of the development of teachers’ values should be taken into consideration. Psychological peculiarities are interconnected with cognitive, emotional, motivational and volitional processes. The actualization of higher mental functions of the individual and the psychological mechanisms of spiritual development of the individual is of great importance as well.

The meaning of phenomenon of professional value training as a specific system of educational work is exposed in the article. It is shown that professional value training presages using of axiological approach in which boundaries positively creative values have fundamental meanings, while formation student`s skills of qualitative selection, development his spiritual, moral and creative foundations are encouraged. It is determined that sphere of objectification of values is value semantic sphere, because the specificity of values are their ability to perform landmark functions, to determine the nature of the vital meaning of the individual.It is based that formation of value semantic sphere of a personality by means of higher education implies creations a specific educational environment, that have to provide preconditions for participation in socio-cultural processes, that promote objectification of values and formation of values` orientation. At the same time, it is shown specificity of professional activity obviously has defining character for formation individual personal qualities, including system of values. Taking into the account the content of peculiarities of values orientation that are put on the basis of European standards of education, a special place belongs to the searching and introduction of new of educational activities. Personality, her inner world have value semantic definition by cultural socio environment and by main tendencies of development of primary psycho emotional and cultural orientations. The necessity of new vital values has arisen befor the Ukrainian society. These are professional competitiveness, initiativeness, readiness to take responsibility, humanistic orientation points, the ability to provide themselves and their families. Actually, the formation and development of the value- semantic sphere of a personality takes place in the process of socialization, that is lasting the whole life with different levels.Active assimilation of approved values by society, formation of professional values orientations, development of value semantic sphere are important components of professional competence of future specialists and determine their competitiveness in professional activity in modern socio-economic conditions.

The objective of this paper is to identify the relationship between the dimensions of performance motivation and value preferences of project managers in large companies. To examine the relationship, it was first necessary to find out what the value system of project managers is and what their motivational profile is. The research took the form of a questionnaire survey in large Czech companies, which belong to CZ-NACE C. Standardized questionnaires were used for data collection. The PVQ questionnaire was used to determine the value system and the LMI questionnaire was used to determine the motivational profile. Data were evaluated by using descriptive statistics and relationships were evaluated by using Person's correlation coefficient. Student's t-test was used to verify statistical significance. It was found that the analyzed values in the set of respondents are almost the same, all analyzed values are perceived by the respondents as significant. The most represented value among the respondents is benevolence and the least represented is tradition. We identified identical findings in the case of analysis of performance motivation. Of the four dimensions of motivation examined, the project managers addressed confidence in success to be the most important. A statistically significant relationship was found between commitment and power and success, between flexibility and stimulation, universalism and benevolence, between self-control and power, success, conformity and safety, and between confidence in success and power, success and stimulation. Stereo camera systems in cars are often used to estimate the distance of other road users from the car. This information is important to improve road safety. Such camera systems are typically mounted behind the windshield of the car. In this contribution, the influence of the windshield on the estimated distance values is analyzed. An offline stereo camera calibration is performed with a moving planar calibration target. In a standard procedure bundle adjustment, the relative orientation of the cameras is estimated. The calibration is performed for the identical stereo camera system with and without a windshield in between. The base lengths are derived from the relative orientation in both cases and are compared. Distance values are calculated and analyzed. It can be shown, that the difference of the base length values in the two cases is highly significant. Resulting effects on the distance calculation up to a half meter occur.
