Анотація:
Tanaman binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis) banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat sebagai obat infeksi. Metabolit sekunder yang terkandung dalam tanaman binahong khususnya daun adalah alkaloida, polifenol, triterpen, saponin dan flavonoid yang memiliki kemampuan menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan perbedaan efektivitas antibakteri dari konsentrasi ekstrak daun binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis) terhadap pertumbuhan Staphylococcus aureus dengan desain penelitian rancangan acak lengkap, empat perlakuan tiga kali ulangan. Ekstrak didapatkan dengan cara maserasi daun binahong menggunakan etanol 96% selama empat hari. Pengambilan data menggunakan parameter angka lempeng total dan data yang diperoleh dianalisis ragam, dilanjutkan dengan uji beda nyata terkecil pada taraf signifikan 0,05 menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ekstrak daun binahong efektif terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus aureus pada konsentrasi 5, 10 dan 15%.

Cataracts are one of the most causes of blindness in the world. Oxidative stress can form pathological conditions such as cataracts. This oxidative stress ability can be measured by the malondialdehyde (MDA) biomarker. Binahong leaves (Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis) are native plants from Indonesia that are used to treat various diseases including cataract treatment. Binahong leaf (Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis) has a high amount of flavonoids and is rich in antioxidants that can be used to treat cataracts. Objective. The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of binahong leaf extract on the levels of MDA in a goat lens with cataract-induced material. Method. As many as possible, 40 goat eye lenses were divided into several groups, namely, group I normal lenses as controls (glucose 5.5 mM), group II lenses were cataract induced with glucose concentration of 55 mM, group III lenses with glucose 55 mM + binahong leaf extract (100 μg/ml), group IV lens with glucose 55 mM + binahong leaf extract (200 μg/ml), and group V lens with glucose 55 mM + quercetin (positive control). Biochemical parameters measured in the lens homogenate are malondialdehyde lens morphology in all groups’ observations and comparisons made. Results. The results of the study found that the lens group with the addition of binahong extract showed more results transparency compared to lens groups induced by glucose concentrations of 55 mM). This shows that the diabetic cataract group experienced high oxidative stress due to the accumulation of sorbitol compounds derived from glucose which caused turbidity in the goat eye lens and increased levels of lens MDA. Binahong levels at concentrations of 100 or 200 can inhibit MDA production. Conclusion. Binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis) extract has the ability to inhibit the production of MDA levels. In glucose-induced goat lenses, binahong extract and quercetin show antioxidant and anticataract properties.

Seiring berkembangnya pengobatan di Indonesia, perkembangannya kini mengarah kesistem pengobatan herbal, karena terbukti lebih aman dan tidak menimbulkan efek samping seperti obat-obat kimia. Salah satu faktor yang melatar belakangi penyebab ketombe adalah jamur Candida albicans.Ekstrak daun binahong (Anredera cordifilia (Tenore)Steen) merupakan bahan alam yang mengandung senyawa antijamur yaitu flavonoid dan saponin merupakan senyawa aktif yang dapat membunuh jamur candid albicans. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimental, yaitu Untuk mengetahui efektivitas sediaan sampo anti ketombe dari Ekstrak daun binahong (Anredera cordifilia (Tenore)Steen)terhadap aktivitas jamur Candida albicans penyebab ketombe dan mencari formula yang baik dan stabil secara fisika dan juga efektif digunakan sebagai anti ketombe.Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kontrol (-), kontrol (+), F1 (5%), F2(10%), dan F3 (15%). Hasil penelitian sediaan sampo anti ketombe Ekstrak daun binahong (Anredera cordifilia (Tenore)Steen)dari ketiga variasi konsentrasi menunjukkan bahwa uji organoleptis sediaan sampo antiketombe Ekstrak daun binahong berwarna hijau tua dan hijau muda dan hijau kehitaman, berbentuk cairan kental, sedikit busa dan beraroma khasdaun binahong. Uji pH sampo yaitu 6,0, 6,0, dan 5,0. Uji tinggi busa yaitu 7,7 cm, 6,8 cm, dan 6,5 cm. Dan uji aktivitas sampo anti ketombe yaitu pada kontrol (+), kontrol (-), konsentrasi sampo anti ketombe ekstrak daun binahong 5 %, 10% dan 15% yaitu 26,8 mm, 30,1mm, 34,6 mm, 35,3 mm, dan 35,2 mm. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa sediaan sampo anti ketombe ekstrak daun binahong dengan konsentrasi 5%, 10% dan 10% telah memberikan daya hambat sangat kuat terhadap pertumbuhan jamur Candida albicans.Konsentrasi ekstrak daun binahongyang memiliki aktivitas penghambatan paling kuat terhadap pertumbuhan jamur Candida albicans adalah 35,3 mm dihasilkan oleh Formula II dengan konsentrasi 15%.

The names M. hirsuta by Sieber and by Tenore are respectively invalid (Art. 36.1c) and illegitimate (Art. 53.2) according to the Melbourne Code.

Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis is widely planted as an ornamental and medicinal plant in Indonesia. On the other hand, in some other countries this plant is classified as a noxious weed. As a harmful weed, A. cordifolia is reported to have the ability to smother all native vegetation, collapse canopies of tall trees, cultivate as a ground cover and disrupt native seedling development. There is no available information about the involvement of any allelochemicals from A. cordifolia related to these issues. The present study evaluated the allelopathic effect by isolating and identifying the allelopathic substance from A. cordifolia leaf extract. The allelopathic potency of A. cordifolia was determined by a series of bioassays of shoot and root growth on some selected test plants. Separation and purification of the active substances was achieved through several chromatography processes. Finally, the substances with allelopathic activity were identified through high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HRESIMS) analysis and determined by the specific rotation of compound, proton and carbon NMR spectroscopies. The results show that A. cordifolia possesses allelopathic properties which affect other plant species. The isolated compound from the plant material, 3-hydroxy-alpha-ionone, may contribute to the allelopathic effects of A. cordifolia.

EFFECT OF AUXIN AND CYTOKININ ON MICROPROPAGATION OF BINAHONG (Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis)Binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis) is known as miraculous medicinal plant for its potential to cure for various kinds of diseases such as diabetes, stabilizing blood pressure and circulation, accelerating wound healing, and preventing stroke. In order to provide high quality seedlings of this medicinal plant continuously in large amount, the study on binahong micropropagation was performed. Plant growth regulators of auxins and cytokinins were applied in single or in combination so as to observe their effect on the growth of binahong explants. The results showed that 2,4-D induced callus formation in large diameter on all treatments. Nevertheless, this plant growth regulator had a negative effect on growth and development of shoot and leaves. In the combination treatments between IAA and BAP, it revealed that the higher the concentration of BAP in the media, the lower the number of leaves initiated on shoot explants. Increasing the concentration of IAA upto 1.5 ppm influenced the increasing of shoot tallness and the number of internodes. Our results can be useful for improving the binahong shoot propagation efficiency, as well as callus culture studies.Keywords: Auxin, cytokinin, callus, micropropagation, medicinal plantABSTRAKBinahong (Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis) dikenal sebagai tanaman obat ajaib karena dapat digunakan untuk pengobatan berbagai macam penyakit seperti diabetes, melancarkan peredaran dan tekanan darah, mempercepat penyembuhan luka, mencegah stroke. Dalam mendukung ketersediaan bibit tanaman obat herbal yang berkualitas secara berkelanjutan maka dilakukan kajian tentang perbanyakan bibit tanaman binahong. Zat pengatur tumbuh auksin dan sitokinin dalam bentuk tunggal maupun kombinasi diaplikasikan pada penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruhnya terhadap berbagai eksplan binahong. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa 2,4-D merangsang pembentukan kalus dengan ukuran yang besar pada semua perlakuan. Namun demikian zat pengatur tumbuh ini memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tunas dan daun. Dari perlakuan kombinasi zat pengatur tumbuh IAA dan BAP, pertambahan konsentrasi BAP di dalam media menurunkan jumlah daun yang terbentuk pada eksplan pucuk binahong. Demikian pula dengan pertambahan konsentrasi IAA hingga 1,5 ppm sangat berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan meninggi tunas dan pertambahan jumlah ruas. Hasil dari studi ini dapat dimanfaatkan untuk studi lanjutan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi perbanyakan tunas serta kultur kalus binahong.Kata kunci: Auksin, sitokinin, kalus, perbanyakan mikro, tanaman obat herbal

We had in study some samples from a private collection of petrified wood, from South Apuseni mts., found in an area where numerous Miocene petrified woods were already described and tens lignotaxa were identified. These new petrified woods were collected from Ociu area, on the Church’s brook. They could contribute to better knowing that fabulous Mid-Miocene forest, and by palaeoxylotomic study the following arboreal taxa were identified: Thu-joxylon sp., Magnolioxylon kräuselii (Greguss) Van der Burgh, Spiroplatanoxylon densiradiatum (Petrescu) Süss, and Quercoxylon sp. cf. Quercus frainetto Tenore.

Binahong Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis leaves contain chemical compounds that can be used as antioxidants. This study aims to examine the phytochemical and antioxidant activity of the ethanol extract of binahong leaves. Binahong leaves were extracted using the maceration method with an ethanol solvent. The phytochemical test showed that the ethanol extract of binahong leaves contained phenolic compounds, flavonoids, alkaloids, and tannins to have potential antioxidants. The antioxidant activity test was carried out using the DPPH method and absorbance measurement with a UV-Vis spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 517 nm. The results showed that the ethanol extract of binahong leaves had strong antioxidant activity, as evidenced by the IC50 value of 87.423 µg/mL.

Spray gel atau gel semprot merupakan salah satu upaya pengembangan dalam sediaan bentuk topikal di farmasi. Kelebihan dari sediaan gel semprot yaitu memiliki tingkat kontaminasi mikroba yang rendah, lebih praktis dalam penggunannya dan waktu kontak obat yang relatif lebih lama dibandingkan dengan sediaan lainnya. Daun Binahong merupakan salah satu tanaman yang dapat digunakan untuk penyembuhan luka dengan senyawa yang terkandung berupa flavonoid, saponin, triterpenoid, alkaloid dan tannin. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ekstrak daun binahong dapat dijadikan sebagai sediaan spray gel dan melihat kualitas sediaan dari evaluasi sediaan spray gel. Formulasi sediaan spray gel dibuat dengan menambahkan ekstrak daun binahong sebanyak 15%.Hasil sediaan spray gel yaitu uji organoleptik yaitu memiliki sediaan berwarna coklat muda dengan bau khas dan terkstur yang agak kental, memiliki homogenitas yang baik dengan pH yang sesuai dengan standar yaitu 6 .Untuk uji pola penyemprotan F1 memiliki pola penyemprotan yang paling lebar dengan rata-rata diameter yaitu jarak 3 cm (6,25 cm), jarak 5 cm (4,85), jarak 10 cm (6,45 cm), jarak 15 cm (8,16 cm) dan jarak 20 cm (8,28 cm). Sedangkan hasil uji daya lekat terlihat pada F3 yang memiliki daya lekat lebih lama dan hasil uji viskositas menunjukkan bahwa semua formula tidak memenuhi standar viskositas sediaan spray gel.

A fauna de insetos predadores em copas de Citrus deliciosa Tenore var. Montenegrina, em Montenegro, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil, foi avaliada quanto à sua composição, abundância e diversidade, entre março de 2004 e março de 2005. Foram coletados, no total, 658 insetos predadores, representados por 51 espécies de dez famílias e cinco ordens, Coleoptera, Hymenoptera, Neuroptera, Thysanoptera e Hemiptera. As espécies mais abundantes foram Camponotus sp. 1 (Hymenoptera, Formicidae) (16,87%) e Coccidophilus sp. (Coleoptera, Coccinellidae) (11,85%). A maior abundância, riqueza e eqüitabilidade de insetos predadores foi registrada na primavera, embora não tenha sido constatada diferença significativa entre as estações.

This article deals primarily with a small repertory of early fifteenth-century motets that survive with tenores ad longum - substitute parts for notationally difficult tenors: works by Dunstaple, Binchois, Ciconia, Brassart, Velut, Carmen and Antonius de Civitate. The eight cases, together with Du Fay's O Sancte Sebastiane and the fourteenth-century motet Inter densas, are discussed individually, with consideration of the reason for inclusion of a tenor ad longum or other rhythmic cues, and who might have been responsible for the part.

The taxonomy of the closely related Silene capraria, S. neglecta and S. nocturna in Italy is investigated, by means of morphometric and karyological analyses. The chromosome numbers of S. capraria and S. neglecta (both diploid with 2n = 24) are here reported for the first time. On the basis of the morphological results, we propose the species rank for S. neglecta, and to consider S. capraria as a vicariant narrow endemic subspecies of the widespread S. nocturna. The name S. neglecta is lectotypified on a specimen preserved in the Herbarium Tenore at NAP. With the aim to distinguish these taxa, the useful qualitative and quantitative morphological characters are highligthed.

An investigation of 27 samples of mandarin essential oils (Citrus deliciosa Tenore), industrially produced in Sicily during the 2007-2008 season, was performed to determine the composition of the volatile fraction by GC/FID and GC/MS-LRI, the enantiomeric distribution of some monoterpene hydrocarbons and linalol by Es-GC, the non-volatile oxygen heterocyclic components by RP-HPLC/PDA and the physicochemical indices (relative density, refractive index, optical rotation, residue on evaporation, and UV spectroscopic CD value). This study up-dates the information available in the literature on Sicilian mandarin (C. deliciosa Ten.) essential oils, and provides information on the composition and quality parameters for the evaluation of this product.

Anche in questo caso si č invocata l'Europa con il seguito di "vincoli" da essa imposti al legislatore italiano. O bom calibre e a coloração adequada dos frutos cítricos para consumo in natura são importantes fatores de qualidade que elevam o seu consumo e melhoram os preços do produto. Este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o efeito de diferentes intensidades de raleio manual dos frutos e da poda sobre a produção e qualidade dos frutos da tangerina Montenegrina. O experimento foi realizado em pomar comercial no município de Dois Vizinhos, no Sudoeste do Paraná. O experimento bifatorial (raleio x poda) constituiu-se dos seguintes tratamentos. 1) sem raleio e sem poda (testemunha); 2) sem raleio, com poda; 3) 33% de raleio, sem poda; 4) 33% de raleio, com poda; 5) 66% de raleio, sem poda; e 6) 66% de raleio, com poda. O delineamento experimental foi de blocos completamente casualizados, com quatro repetições, sendo cada unidade experimental constituída por uma planta. Nas condições em que o experimento foi realizado, concluiu-se que o raleio nas intensidades de 33 e 66% promove aumento da massa fresca, melhora a cor da epiderme, aumenta o diâmetro e melhora a classificação comercial dos frutos da tangerina Montenegrina. A poda leve, de abertura e levantamento da base da copa, não contribui para a melhoria da qualidade dos frutos.

Proses penyembuhan luka kulit dipengaruhi oleh kondisi dibetes mellitus (DM). Ekstrak etanol daun binahong dilaporkan dapat mempercepat penyembuhan luka tikus diabetes melalui mekanisme reepitelisasi dan kolagenasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran penyembuhan luka diabetes fraksi etil asetat daun binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Ten.) Steenis) konsentrasi 10% dengan parameter jumlah sel fibroblast pada tikus yang diinduksi sterptozotocin. Metode fraksinasi yang digunakan fraksinasi bertingkat padat cair dengan pelarut etil asetat yang bersifat semipolar. Penelitian eksperimental menggunakan 20 ekor tikus Wistar jantan usia 2 bulan, berat badan antara 150-200 gram yang diinduksi streptozotocin (STZ) dosis tunggal 45 mg/kgBB i.p. Punch biopsy digunakan untuk membuat luka pada kulit tikus dengan diameter 5 mm setelah kadar glukosa darah (KGD) di atas 250 mg/dL. Hewan uji dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok, terdiri dari kontrol sehat (tanpa induksi STZ dan tanpa perlakuan), kontrol negatif (biocream), kontrol positif (madecassol), dan fraksi etil asetat daun binahong 10% (dalam biocream). Aplikasi topikal dilakukan 2 kali sehari sebanyak 25 mg selama 10 hari pada area luka dan sekitarnya. Pengamatan dilakukan secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fraksi etil asetat daun binahong mengandung senyawa flavonoi dan tanin, serta berperan dalam meningkatkan jumlah sel fibroblast (P<0.05). Wound healing process is affected by diabetes melitus condition. The ethanol extract of Binahong leaves has reported to have wound healing activity on diabetic rat through mechanism of re-epithelialization and collagenation. This study was conducted to evaluate the wound healing activity on diabetic rat of ethyl acetate fraction of Binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis) leaves at concentration of 10% with parameters of fibroblast numbers in streptozozin induced rat. The fractionation method used was solid-liquid graded fractination using ethyl acetate as semipolar solvent. This experimental research used 20 male wistar rats, aged 2 months, weight 150-200 g, induced by single dose streptozotocin (STZ)45 mg/kgBB i.p. Punch biopsy was used to injured the rat skin with diameter of 5 mm after blood glucose level was more than 250 mg/dL. Test animals were divided into 4 groups, these include healthy control (without induced by STZ and treatment), negative control (biocream), positive control (madecassol), ethyl acetate fraction of binahong leaves 10% (in biocream). The cream was applied topically 2 times a day with an amount of 25 mg for 10 days on wound area and surrounding. The macroscopic and microscopic observation was performed. The results showed that ethyl acetate fraction of binahong leaves contained flavonoids and tannin, besides it plays role to increase the fibroblast numbers (P<0.05).

The randomly amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) technique was used to distinguish nucellar and zygotic seedlings resulting from crosses between the ‘Montenegrina’ (Citrus deliciosa Tenore) and‘ King’ (C. nobilis Loureiro) tangerines. The aim of the present study was to develop tangerine varieties with a reduced number of seeds and organoleptic characteristics similar to the ‘Montenegrina’ tangerine. Embryos were isolated from seeds, cultivated in vitro, and acclimated in a greenhouse. Four random primers were used to identify 54 plants of sexual origin from a total of 202 individuals. The degree of polymorphism of each primer was reflected in the number of zygotic plants obtained per primer. Cluster analysis of parents and progeny separated the individuals into distinct groups with a maximum genetic dissimilarity of 20%.

The spatial distribution of larvae of Phyllocnistis citrella Stainton (Lepidoptera: Gracillariidae), the citrus leaf miner, in leaves, shoots, and tree crowns of Montenegrina tangerine (Citrus deliciosa Tenore) and Murcott tangor (Citrus sinensis L. Osbeck x Citrus reticulata Blanco) was determined. Fortnightly samplings from July/2001 to June/2003, in orchards located in Montenegro (29º 68’ S and 51º 46’ W), RS, Brazil, were carried out. At each sampling occasion eighth shoots randomly selected were collected. The spatial distribution pattern of P. citrella larvae between tree crowns and in the shoots was aggregated in most sampling occasions in both citrus species. Nevertheless, on the leaves, this pattern followed a random distribution, as indicated by the indices I, Idelta and k parameter.

<p>Infeksi perlukaan jalan lahir merupakan morbiditas dan mortalitas bagi ibu pasca bersalin.Kasus luka perineum pada ibu melahirkan masih tinggi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemberian daun binahong <em>(Anredera Cordifolia (Tenore) Steen) </em>dan <em>Povidone Iodine</em> 10% terhadap penyembuhan luka perineum. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif <em>Quasi Eksperimental</em> dengan rancangan <em>non randomized control group pre test – post test design. </em>Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu <em>Post Partum</em> yang mengalami luka perineum dengan sampel sebanyak 76 responden, yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok intervensi yaitu kelompok yang diberikan daun binahong dan kelompok yang diberikan <em>povidone iodine</em>. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi pengkajian perkembangan luka perineum<em>.</em>Analisis data menggunakan uji <em>McNemar </em>dan uji <em>regresi logistic.</em>Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perbedaan penyembuhan luka perineum pada intervensi daun binahong dan <em>povidone idodine</em> dengan <em>p value</em> sebesar 0,000. Artinya, bahwa daun binahong lebih efektif untuk penyembuhan luka perineum dibandingkan<em>Povidone Iodine</em> 10%. Rekomendasi yaitu bekerja sama dengan bagian Farmasi untuk memproduksi obat herbal dalam bentuk cream atau salep yang terbuat dari bahan baku daun binahong.</p>

A alternância de produção é um problema na cultura da tangerina 'Montenegrina' (Citrus deliciosa Ten.). Objetivou-se testar o uso do ácido giberélico e épocas de aplicação na inibição floral e conseqüente diminuição da alternância. O experimento foi executado no período de abril de 2004 a agosto de 2005, no município de Eldorado do Sul, Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, em pomar de 20 anos com plantas enxertadas sobre Poncirus trifoliata Raf. Noventa e seis plantas uniformes, em alternância de produção e com poucos frutos foram selecionadas e arranjadas em delineamento de blocos ao acaso, com quatro repetições e duas plantas úteis por parcela. Os tratamentos foram arranjados em esquema fatorial com quatro concentrações de AG3 (0; 20; 40 e 60 mg/L) e três épocas de aplicação (30 de abril, 20 de maio e 10 de junho), nos anos de 2004 e 2005. Nenhum tratamento inibiu a floração, nem afetou o número e a massa dos frutos colhidos. Observações histológicas de cortes longitudinais de gemas, feitas quinzenalmente, evidenciaram que a diferenciação de gemas de flor, perceptível pela emissão das primeiras sépalas, só ocorre na primeira quinzena do mês de agosto, indicando que a indução da diferenciação floral deve verificar-se em julho, bem depois das aplicações de AG3 feitas nesta pesquisa.

Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan penyakit yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya kadar gula darah yang dapat menyebabkan berkembangnya bakteri dan menimbulkan berbagai komplikasi, seperti ulkus diabetik. Gel ekstrak etanol daun binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steen) yang mengandung saponin, alkaloid, tanin, steroid, triterpenoid, flavonoid dan asam askorbat dapat sebagai penyembuh luka melalui mekanisme antibakteri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui konsentrasi ekstrak etanol daun binahong pada proses penyembuhan luka diabetik serta mengetahui gambaran sel radang polimorfonuklear netrofil dan reepitelisasinya secara histologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan tikus jantan putih galur Wistar berjumlah 25 ekor yang dibagi dalam 5 kelompok, yaitu kontrol negatif, kontrol positif, kontrol normal, perlakuan gel ekstrak etanol daun binahong; konsentrasi 10% dan 30%, kemudian dilakukan pengamatan terhadap gambaran histopatologi kulit tikus yang sebelumnya telah diinduksi aloksan agar mengalami diabetes dan diamati pada hari ke-16 dan hari ke-23. Hasil pengamatan histopatologi kulit tikus diperoleh data berkurangnya sel radang polimirfonuklear netrofil dan terbentuknya reepitelisasi setelah diberi gel pada konsentrasi 30%. Dari hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa pemberian gel ekstrak etanol daun binahong berefek signifikan pada penyembuhan luka diabetik.

W komunikacie prezentowany jest nieznany przekaz Missae in defectu unius contraaltus Bartłomieja Pękiela, odnaleziony pośród anonimowych rękopisów sporządzonych w XVIII wieku przez Józefa Tadeusza Benedykta Pękalskiego dla kolegium rorantystów katedry krakowskiej. Rękopis o sygnaturze Kk I.26 przechowywany jest w Archiwum Krakowskiej Kapituły Katedralnej. Do tej pory kompozycja Pękiela znana była jedynie ze zdekompletowanego rękopisu wawelskiego Kk I.6 (brakowało najwyższego z trzech głosów). W niniejszym komunikacie zawarto opis manuskryptu Kk I.26 oraz przykłady modyfikacji, jakie wprowadził do swej kopii skryptor. Wśród nich należy wskazać przede wszystkim zwiększenie liczby głosów z trzech (dwa tenory, z czego pierwszy niezachowany, i bas) do sześciu (alt, trzy tenory, z czego jeden mógł być wykonywany ad libitum, ponieważ zdwajał partię tenoru I, bas i basso ripieno, który jest dosłownym powtórzeniem głosu basowego, i w którym podpisany został tekst słowny). Background: Perineal wounds are at risk for infection, without a good treatment, perineal wound can harbor sepsis and become a chronic, long-term problem. Binahong leaves is considered as an alternative to accelerate perineal wound healing process.Objective: To determine the effect of binahong leaf extract (anredera cordifolia (tenore) steen) on perineal wound healing process in postpartum mothers.Methods: This study employed a quasy experimental study with control group posttest-only design. The study was conducted in the working area of Telogosari Wetan Health Center and Health Center of Kulon Kota Semarang in January-February 2017. There were 36 respondents selected using purposive sampling assigned in the intervention group (Binahong leaves extract) and the control group (Povidon Iodine 10%). REEDA scale was used for assessing perineal healing. Data were analyzed using Mann Whitney, Chi Square and Kruskall Wallis test.Results: Findings showed that the average day of perineal wound healing process in the binahong leaves group was 6.11 days and in the povidon iodine group was 7.66 days. There was a statistically significant difference in the duration of wound healing between the experiment and control group with p-value 0,001 (p value <0.05).Conclusion: Binahong leaves extract is effective in healing perineal wound in postpartum mothers. Therefore, binahong leaves are recommended to use as an alternative treatment for the mothers.

O experimento foi desenvolvido em casa de vegetação na Estação Experimental Agronômica da UFRGS, em Eldorado do Sul, RS, no período de fevereiro a novembro/2004. O delineamento experimental foi de blocos casualizados em esquema fatorial 2x3x3, sendo testados: 2 variedades-copa (laranjeira "Valência" - C. sinensis [L.] Osbeck e tangerineira "Montenegrina" - C. sinensis Tenore), 3 porta-enxertos (Trifoliata - C. sinensis [L.] Raf.; citrangeiro "C13" - Citrus sinensis [L.] Osbeck x P. trifoliata [L.] Raf.; e limoeiro "Cravo" - C. limonia Osbeck) e 3 substratos comerciais (Comercial 1, 2 e 3), e As mudas foram produzidas em citropotes de quatro litros, com sistema de irrigação por gotejamento. A análise revelou que o substrato Comercial 2 possibilitou maior desenvolvimento vegetativo às variedades-copa. O porta-enxerto citrangeiro "C13" pode ser uma alternativa aos porta-enxertos tradicionais usados no Brasil.

Following the establishment of Trichosirocalus horridus (Panzer) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae), a rosette feeding weevil which was initially released in Southwest Virginia from 1974 to 1977 for the biocontrol of thistle, a study of its dispersal was conducted from 1981 to 1985. Trichosirocalus horridus covered an area of 609 km2 by 1981 and extended its range to 4,345 km2 by 1985. Thirty to 50% of the area was forested and did not support thistles. The remainder of the land consists of small farms with crops, pasture, and small towns, with adequate hosts in most areas. Four thistle species were found infested by T. horridus: Cirsium vulgare (Savi) Tenore (39% of the total plants found), C. discolor (Muhl.) Spreng. (32%), Carduus thoermeri Weinmann (23%), and C. acanthoides L. (6%). Of the thistles examined, 54% of C. thoermeri, 20% of C. acanthoides, 20% of C. vulgare and 6% of C. discolor were infested with T. horridus.

Mature cladodes of prickly-pear cactus (Opuntia amyclaea Tenore. cv. Reina) were treated with five wounding methods and four concentrations of potassium salt indolebutyric acid (K-IBA) to stimulate adventitious root formation. K-IBA from 4144 to 41,442 μm (1000 to 10,000 mg·L-1) increased root number and root dry weight; however, root length was decreased at 41,442 μm (10,000 mg·L-1). Root number and root dry weight were higher with wounding methods that had larger wounded surface areas. K-IBA altered rooting polarity and stimulated adventitious root formation along the wounded cladode surfaces. Treatments without suberization had a higher percentage of rotted cladodes. This research validates the commercial practice in Mexico of suberizing cladodes early in the propagation cycle. Auxin application could be of commercial benefit for enhanced rooting in the clonal regeneration of new selections for prickly-pear cactus orchards. The wounding methods and auxin treatments utilized make an excellent classroom demonstration for manipulating rooting polarity.

Micropropagated cactus pear plantlets (Opuntia amyclaea Tenore) cv. Reyna were colonized with a Mexican endomycorrhiza isolate, ZAC-19 (containing Glomus etunicatum and two unknown Glomus spp.) and fertilized with two phosphorous levels (0 and 11 μg P/ml) to study their effect on plant growth and nutrient uptake. After 7 months of greenhouse culture, there was 100% survival of the micropropagated cactus pear plants. Evidence of mycorrhizal colonization was observed 5 days after inoculation, with the development of internal hyphae in root cortices. At the end of the study, high colonization occurred (48% to 54%) with no differences in P treatments. Plantlets transferred to soil began to actively grow with no lag phase. However, plant growth rate was significantly affected by treatments. Absence of P supply and lack of colonization resulted in lower dry mass and surface area of prickly pear cactus plants. In contrast, the combination of supplementary P and mycorrhizal colonization significantly increased plant growth.

Binahong (Anredera cordifolia (Tenore) Steenis) adalah tanaman obat potensial yang dapat mengatasi berbagai jenis penyakit dan berguna sebagai antibakteri, antioksidan dan antiseptik. Steroid diketahui bermanfaat sebagai antibakteri. Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan isolasi, identifikasi dan uji sitotoksik terhadap ekstrak n-heksana. Analisis isolat yang berupa kristal putih dengan titik leleh sebesar 154,9-155,3oC dilakukan menggunakan spektrofotometer FT-IR dan LC-MS. Hasil analisis FT-IR menunjukkan isolat memiliki gugus –OH, -C-O, C=C, –CH3 dan –CH2. Sedangkan hasil LC-MS menunjukkan bahwa isolat memiliki berat molekul 351 g/mol. Berat molekul ini diduga dimiliki oleh senyawa stigmasterol (steroid alkohol) yang telah mengalami pemutusan ikatan pada rantai cabang. Hasil uji sitotoksik dengan metode BSLT menunjukkan bahwa hanya fraksi A bersifat toksik dengan harga LC50 sebesar 9,931 ppm sedangkan ekstrak n-heksana, fraksi B, C, dan D tidak bersifat toksik dengan harga LC50 berturut-turut 463,877 ppm, 1664,039 ppm, 1341,507 ppm dan 172,213 ppm.

BACKGROUND: The incidence of colon cancer ranks the third most common cancer case in Indonesia, with 12.8 cases per 100.000 community. Problems that arise from cancer treatment with chemotherapy are severe side effects. Thus, we develop cancer therapy using a natural material, namely, binahong leaves (Anredera cordifolia). AIM: This study aims to investigate the co-chemotherapy activity of the n-hexane fraction of binahong (NFB) on the WiDr human colon cancer cells line. METHODS: The sample was prepared by maceration using ethanol 70% and fractionation using n-hexane. Phytochemical screening was conducted with the thin-layer chromatography method. The antioxidant test was carried out using 1,1 diphenyl-2-dipicrilhydrazil assay, while the 3-[4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay was designed for cytotoxic tests on WiDr colon cancer cells to identify the single effect and its combination with 5-fluorouracil as chemotherapy agents. Further, in silico test, molecular docking was used to determine the 4’, 6, 7-trihydroxyaurone as an active compound on NFB against inhibitors of κB kinases (IKK) and COX-2 proteins. RESULTS: Phytochemical screening showed that NFB contained a flavonoid compound. NFB had a weak antioxidant activity with the inhibition concentration (IC50) value of 2851 μg/mL, while NFB had a relatively strong cytotoxic activity on WiDr colon cells with the IC50 value of 191 μg/mL, and had the synergist activity in combination with 5-fluorouracil as a chemotherapy agent. The molecular docking showed the best interaction of 4’, 6, 7-trihydroxyaurone against IKK, and COX-2 proteins with docking scores of −9.0 kcal/mol and −8.1 kcal/mol, respectively. CONCLUSION: NFB had the potential to inhibit cell growth and had a synergistic effect in combination with 5-fluorouracil on WiDr colon cancer cells line.
