We give the definition of the essence of the formation of teenager’s legal culture, which is understood as a purposeful, specially organized, managed social and pedagogical process that provides the assimilation of legal knowledge by teenagers, the manifestation of the legal position in socially useful activities. We also consider the impact factors of formation of legal culture of a modern teenager in society. The leading factors affecting teenager’s legal culture include a single national policy in the field of legal culture (“Fundamentals of State Policy of the Russian Federation in the Field of Legal Literacy and Legal Awareness of Citizens”), the organization of space for the participation of teenagers in socially significant activities and for the implementation of legal education (for example, the program “Do not Stumble!”), socializing the potential of the family in the process of legal education, the impact on the legal culture of the teenager media, first of all, Internet (methodical recommendations about placement on information stands, official Internet sites and other information resources of the educational organizations and bodies exercising management in the sphere of education, information on safe behavior and use of the Internet), legal education of teenagers in educational institution, attraction of the new subjects influencing formation of legal culture (interdepartmental interaction) (it is considered on the example of activity of the Children’s rights ombudsman and legal clinics), influence of features of teenage age.

Abstract: The overall percentage of teenager abusements filed nowadays in the world is about 80%, out of which 74% are girl teenagers and the rest are boys. For every 40 seconds, a teenager goes missing in this world. Teenagers are the backbone of one's nation, if the future of teenagers was affected, it would impact the entire growth of that nation. Due to the abusements, the emotional and mental stability of the teenagers gets affected which in turn ruins their career and future. These innocent teenagers are not responsible for what happens to them. So, parents are responsible for taking care of their own teenagers. But, due to economic condition and aims to focus on their teenager's future and career, parents are forced to crave for money. Hence, it becomes difficult to cling on to their teenagers all the time. In our system, we provide an environment where this problem can be resolved in an efficient manner. It makes parents to easily monitor their teenagers in real time just like staying beside them as well as focusing on their own career without any manual intervention.

The objective of this work was to study the perception of teenagers for their own sexuality in the Tunisian socio-cultural context. One hundred teenagers participated in the study. They filled in an anonymous self-report questionnaire, consisting of 14 items relative to the aspects that seemed to us the most meaningful concerning teenage sexuality. Eighty-one percent of the participants did not manage to provide answers, in conformity with scientific data, to a minimum of 75% of the items. Fifty percent considered masturbation at adolescent age to be pathological. The possibility of a homosexual tendency during adolescence was rejected by 75%. Eighty-one percent perceived the subject of teenage sexuality as embarrassing. They were not permissive regarding the issue of sexual protected relations amongst adolescents in 44% of the cases, and regarding the interest that a female teenager could have in sexuality in 23% of the cases. Our study demonstrated a relatively high frequency of prejudice relating to teenage sexuality amongst the teenagers, reflecting the impact of the taboo on sexuality and particularly on the female teenager in the Tunisian socio-cultural context. The change in mentalities regarding teenagers’ sexuality should take place very smoothly.

Teenagers frequently struggle to make informed career choices and often turn to their parents or carers for help. In response to this, the INSPiRED Teenager framework was developed to encourage collaborative career-based learning between parents and carers and their teenage child. A mixed-methods approach was implemented to explore the effectiveness of the two programme delivery formats. The findings show evidence of improving teenagers' career confidence and career direction clarity and also parents/carers' understanding of the changing world of work, their ability to have informed conversations with their teenagers, and their confidence and clarity to help their teenager make informed career decisions.

ABSTRACTObjective:The loss of a parent to cancer is considered one of the most traumatic events a teenager can experience. Studies have shown that teenagers, from the time of diagnosis, are already extremely worried about the consequences of a parent's cancer but tend to be left to manage these concerns on their own. The present study aimed to explore young adults' advice to healthcare professionals on how to support teenagers who are losing a parent to cancer. Methods:This work derives from a Swedish nationwide survey and employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive/interpretive design to obtain answers to an open-ended question concerning advice to healthcare professionals. Of the 851 eligible young adults who had lost a parent to cancer when they were 13–16 years of age within the previous 6 to 9 years, 622 participated in our survey (response rate = 73%). Of these 622 young adults, 481 responded to the open-ended question about what advice to give healthcare professionals. Results:Four themes emerged: (1) to be seen and acknowledged; (2) to understand and prepare for illness, treatment, and the impending death; (3) to spend time with the ill parent, and (4) to receive support tailored to the individual teenager's needs.Significance of Results:This nationwide study contributes hands-on suggestions to healthcare staff regarding attitudes, communication, and support from the perspective of young adults who, in their teenage years, lost a parent to cancer. Teenagers may feel better supported during a parent's illness if healthcare professionals take this manageable advice forward into practice and see each teenager as individuals; explain the disease, its treatments, and consequences; encourage teenagers to spend time with their ill parent; and recommend sources of support.

Aim The paper examines teenage alcohol use from an intergenerational perspective through an ethnographic case study of interaction between teenagers and adults. Methods Two periods of ethnographic fieldwork were conducted in a rural Danish community of approximately 6000 inhabitants. The fieldwork included 50 days of participant observation among 13–16-year-olds (n=93) as well as semi-structured interviews with small self-selected friendship groups. The present paper presents an analysis of field notes from a night of participant observation that is used as an emblematic example of informants' alcohol use and their interaction with adults. Theoretically, the paper adopts French philosopher Michel de Certeau's conceptual framework for understanding the practice of everyday life, in particular his distinction between strategic and tactical action. Results Two scenarios are described and taken to represent two different adult approaches to teenage drinking. In Scenario I, adults accept a group of teenagers' drinking in the home, and in Scenario II adults create an alcohol-free space which they guard against the intrusion of intoxicated teenagers. In both cases, however, adults use their intergenerational position in order to strategically contain teenage drinking. Meanwhile, teenagers act tactically by adjusting their alcohol use in time and space. Further, the use of alcohol marks a shift in the interaction between adults and teenagers in so far as it enables teenagers to create and control a place of their own and hence signal their independence from adults. Conclusion The paper points to the creative, tactical agency of teenagers in response to adult strategies. It is illustrated how teenage alcohol use becomes a transformative factor for adult–teenager relationships, and in particular how teenagers rework intergenerational power differences by taking on drinking.

During adolescence, sleep changes physiologically and biologically. It is during this period of life that development and learning takes place. However, new teenager sleep behaviors appear. A decrease in weekly sleep time and a jet lag during weekends contribute to the deterioration of teenager’s sleep. The use of new social media plays a detrimental role, with a strong negative correlation between time spent on those and sleep time. Teenagers suffering from sleep deprivation develop well-identified consequences such as diurnal fatigue, lack of attention, more anxiety, poor self-esteem, and also an increased risk of obesity and depression. Teenage sleep is a real public health issue.

Teenage years are a time of rapid growth and development, both physically and mentally. During this time, teenagers are forming their identities and values, and are often seeking guidance and direction as they navigate the complex world around them. One powerful tool that can help in the formation of a teenager's spiritual and moral worldview is reading. By exposing teenagers to different perspectives, exploring ethical dilemmas, and providing positive role models, reading can play a significant role in shaping their values and beliefs.

This article examines the peculiarities of the formation of motivation among teenagers to engage in sports, which potentially affects the quality and effectiveness of their eSports training. Taking into account eSports development dynamics and the rapid growth of the population of teenage eSports players, the study of their motivation to engage in eSports is one of the most urgent socio-pedagogical issues. The main motives and factors that encourage young people to support this mainstream are analyzed. It is noted that the analysis of motivation peculiarities among eSports teenage players will allow a better understanding of the nature of such a socio-cultural phenomenon as eSports, and in the future this knowledge can be used in the development of practical recommendations for teenager selection in eSports teams. Conducted studies prove that the motivation of teenagers to engage in eSports is formed according to the needs of each. Also, the peculiarities of motivation are influenced by factors that do not depend on the wishes of teenagers: the rapid development of information and communication technologies, the COVID-19 pandemic, etc. It was established that such factors as socialization, escapism, self-realization, the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills, rivalry, self-esteem improvement, mood improvement and financial support are aimed as the needs of teenagers and influence their motivation to engage in eSports. At the same time, it’s recommended to take into account the peculiarities of teenager motivation when selecting them for professional teams from various eSports disciplines.

Nowadays teenagers grow up with social media and various possibilities of digital communication. The offline and online lives of “digital natives” are tightly bound together and for most of them life without Internet is unthinkabe. However, what happens when teenagers do not have access to modern communication facilities and to social media? Do they miss these media? What services and which activities do teenagers miss? We gathered qualitative data from teenagers after three weeks of being completely offline in frames of a long-term adventure education program. We also gathered quantitative data on teenage media use before media withdrawal. 135 teenagers (M=14.47, SD=.56, 52% female) answered our questions within four years (34 teenagers in each of these years - 2018, 2019, 2020 - and 33 teenagers in 2021). After three weeks of complete media withdrawal two thirds of teenagers reported not missing social media or missing them to a minor extent. They described social media services as stressful, disturbing, extremely time-consuming and boredom-related. Several respondents replied that they had enough communication offline and felt good in the community that made online social media superfluous. However, every third teenager reported missing social media. The main reason was the desire to contact the personal social network. A few teenagers reported missing social media as a source of relaxation and an efficient way to “switch-off”. One out of four teenagers (23%) reported missing WhatsApp. One out of ten (11%) mentioned Instagram, but just one half in a context of missing it. WhatsApp and Instagram were also the most popular services among teenagers before withdrawal (94.3% of teenagers reported having a profile in WhatsApp and 73,3% of teenagers reported using Instagram). Only a few teenagers (2.2%) - all boys - mentioned missing YouTube. The article presents further results, discusses perspectives and limitations of the project.

OBJECTIVE: to test a theoretical model based on the Parent-Based Expansion of the Theory of Planned Behavior examining relation between selected parental, teenager and cultural variables and Latino teenagers' intentions to engage in sexual behavior.METHOD: a cross-sectional correlational design based on a secondary data analysis of 130 Latino parent and teenager dyads.RESULTS: regression and path analysis procedures were used to test seven hypotheses and the results demonstrated partial support for the model. Parent familism and knowledge about sex were significantly associated with parents' attitudes toward sexual communication with their teenagers. Parent Latino acculturation was negatively associated with parents' self-efficacy toward sexual communication with their teenagers and positevely associated with parents' subjective norms toward sexual communication with their teenagers. Teenager knowledge about sex was significantly associated with higher levels of teenagers' attitudes and subjective norms about sexual communication with parents. Only the predictor of teenagers' attitudes toward having sex in the next 3 months was significantly associated with teenagers' intentions to have sex in the next 3 months.CONCLUSION: the results of this study provide important information to guide future research that can inform development of interventions to prevent risky teenager sexual behavior among Latinos.

Teenage pregnancy has a history of being a “social problem” in the United States, with there being higher rates in rural communities. Social support, a contributor to improving mental health outcomes, can significantly impact a teenager’s pregnancy and parenting experience. Using House’s (1981) social support framework, this study explores the teenagers’ perceptions of how their rural community reacted and responded to them as pregnant and parenting teenagers. The results were formulated through the thematic analysis of semi-structured interviews (n = 26) with current and former pregnant and/or parenting teenagers. The participants reported experiencing both positive and negative social support. There were more reports of emotional support and instrumental support among the forms of positive support than there were in the other categories. Informational support was lacking. The appraisal support from community members was negative. There is a need for rural communities to develop effective social support strategies to provide positive support for pregnant and parenting teenagers.

There is an anecdotal impression that teenage patients report exaggerated postoperative pain scores that do not correlate with their actual level of pain. Nurse and parental perception of teenagers’ pain can be complemented by knowledge of patient pain behavior, catastrophizing thoughts about pain, anxiety, and mood level. Two hundred and two patients completed the study—56.4% were female, 89.6% White, 5.4% Black, and 5% were of other races. Patient ages ranged from 11 to 17 years (mean = 13.8; SD = 1.9). The patient, the parent, and the nurse completed multiple questionnaires on day one after laparoscopic surgery to assess patient pain. Teenagers and parents (r = 0.56) have a high level of agreement, and teenagers and nurses (r = 0.47) have a moderate level of agreement on pain scores (p < 0.05). The correlation between patient APBQ (adolescent pain behavior questionnaire) and teenager VAS (visual analog scale) and between nurse APBQ and teenager VAS, while statistically significant (p < 0.05), is weaker (r range = 0.14–0.17). There is a moderate correlation between teenagers’ pain scores and their psychological assessments of anxiety, catastrophic thoughts, and mood (r range = 0.26–0.39; p < 0.05). A multi-modal evaluation of postoperative pain can be more informative than only assessing self-reported pain scores.

The article introduces the methodologies of the study of the everyday life of modern teenagers whiсh can simultaneously be used to traceevents occurring in real and virtual space: “Online and offline diary" and "15 minutes". The data of pilot studies showed that the teenager’s online performance is mainly presented in a form of communication in social networks. We have discovered that the on- and offline convergence of space for growth is inseparable from respondents themselves. Through the active use of social networks, a modern teenager is able to be present in different socialenvironments simultaneously. Constant checking news and posts in social networks is a new, peculiar to teenage daily ritual. The so-called "red zones", where a teenager consciously waives the possibility of "escape" into a parallel reality, are linked to significant events in everyday life, while a feeling of boredom brings to life the compensation through "getting about" in virtual space

The article analyzes the problem of the attitude of today`s teenagers to bullying. The psychological essence of the bullying and features that reveal it are specified. The purpose is to reveal the specificity of the attitude of today`s teenagers to bullying. The modified version of the questionnaire “The Attitude of Secondary and High School Pupils to Bullying” was used in the function of a test tool, which was developed by the Sociological Laboratory of Saint-Petersburg State University of Economics. In our case, it was complemented and expanded in order to investigate the factors that influence and cause the manifestation of bullying among teenagers and show: firstly, the declarative attitude to the bullying and the causal relationship of its appearance and manifestation; secondly, the presence of bullying in the teenagers’ experience; thirdly, the teenager's idea of the possibilities to overcome the bullying and its prevention; fourthly, the attitude to the bullying, which manifests itself at the level of teenager behavior and the conditions in which they use it. The peculiarities of teenagers' attitude to the bullying is empirically recorded among their peers. It was found that more than half of the teenagers suffered from bullying at different frequencies and at different periods of their life, mainly at school. The significant differences in the attitude of teenagers to bullying were revealed at the declarative and behavioral level. Only half of the teenagers who use violence admitted it at the declarative level. It has been recorded that the teenagers, suffering from violence in the family, viewed violence as a way of life and consider that violence must be tolerated. It is shown that experience of different degree of teenagers’ involvement to violence promotes the formation of their attitude to bullying only at school as acceptable standards of behavior, but with understanding of the responsibility of all participants. The teenagers who are subjects to regular and constant acts of harassment from teachers believe any adult to be inadequate in solving bullying situations, and also allow themselves to be violent with peers. It has been confirmed that teenagers who were not subjects to acts of harassment from the family, school and peers have a negative attitude to violence, and have reliance in students and teachers in solving bullying situations.

Learning methods for teenagers in the church are often equated with learning methods for children. If it is differentiated, it is a kind of modification of the teaching model of children. The teachers are not treating teenagers according to their abilities and needs. Based on the context of the teenagers at GMIT Kalvari, Maumere, this research wants to reveal the extent to which the learning methods used so far are friendly or unfriendly to the teenager group of Generation Z. The research method used is qualitative research using structured interviews to the groups of teacher and teenager and review on the teaching material document "Derap Remaja" that is used in 2022. By using the theory of learning models of Sara Little and generation theory of Gen Z foranalyze the context, results show that teenager-friendly learning is an urgent need because one-way teaching patterns are still strong enough to dominate the teenager learning model at GMIT Kalvari. Therefore, this paper proposes three principles and practical aspects related to the teenager learning methods, which are responsive and dialogical methods that go beyond the monologue one, the active involvement of teenagers in the learning process, and learning process that encourage the teenager to do something in their real life

Background The mental strain of pregnancy and child-rearing can lead to depression, especially when the expectant mother is also a teenager who will need robust social support to adequately cope with motherhood at this vulnerable stage of life. In Nigeria, teenage pregnancy and motherhood can prevent them from acquiring an education or the skills to earn money, and many teenage mothers struggle with depression and other health issues. Aim To assess the relationship between perceived social support and level of depression among pregnant and child-rearing teenagers in the Ife East Local Government Area, Southwest Nigeria. Methods A descriptive study design was employed and a structured questionnaire was used to elicit response from 120 pregnant and child-rearing teenagers who were selected using a multistage sampling technique. Descriptive statistics were computed on sociodemographic characteristics, level of perceived social support, and level of depression among respondents. The Pearson correlation test was used to assess the relationship between perceived social support and level of depression. Findings More than half (54.2%) of the respondents reported a moderate level of perceived social support, and few respondents (12.5%) reported that they received low social support. Many (44.2%) of the respondents reported no depression, and few respondents (10.0%) were categorised as severely depressed. The study found a significant, moderately strong, negative correlation between respondents' level of social support and depression (r=−0.510, P=<0.0001). Conclusion There is a significant association between the level of perceived social support received and the development of depression among pregnant and child-rearing teenagers in Nigeria. Hence, there is an urgent need for appropriate community health information, education and programmes to facilitate support for pregnant and child-rearing teenagers. This will help to reduce depression and improve health outcomes for teenage mothers.

Abstract Representations of young teenagers and adolescents (not yet young adults) in popular culture are problematic. All too often the term teenager is less about age and experience and more about consumer merchandise and lifestyles aimed at them as a demographic sector. This paper addresses some of the issues and myths that writers and film makers are confronted with when producing teenage culture - everything may not be as you think.

After the experience of alienation, insecurity, distrust and dismay in the family, getting into institutional care teenager is forced to feel it once more, on the other hand, new environment and intermittent situation in the care institution leads teenager to look for new ways for social interaction and often these ways are limited due to the peculiarities of teenager’s psychosocial development. It is complicated for youngster to master new and unusual forms of social interactions that are based on common activities and result planning, social activity and responsibility, because stereotypes of teenagers’ behaviour and reactions in the different situations cannot change so fast. The lack of social skills disturbs optimal development of social networks, determines low level of self control, decreases ability to solve conflict situations constructively, so usually they are forced to use known behavioural strategies (to behave aggressively and provocative in order to get advantage). In such situation the demonstration of advantage gets a specific attribution and transforms to the manifestations of concurrent aggression that are evident more and more often. Concurrent aggression determines complicated and difficult relationships between teenagers, institutional staff as well and with environment in general. The paper presents research which aim is to define concurrent behaviour among teenagers who are placed in the institutional care. With the authors’ permission approbated check list of self evaluation YSR 11/18 (Youth self report, Achenbach, Rescoria, 2001) was used and 14 – 17 years old 126 teenagers from different care institutions of Lithuania took place in the research. Six scales were used: anxiety/depression, withdrawal/depression, rules breaking, aggressive behaviour and scale of attention and social problems. The data of quantitative research point out those statistically significant correlate results of behaviour and emotional problems; the strongest ties among the teenagers group were set up between aggressive behaviour and breaking of the rules. The results of correlation analysis proved that anxiety/depression scale of teenagers placed into the institutional care closely correlates with social problems, and social problems are in tight relations with aggressive behaviour and lack of attention and lack of attention correlates with aggressive behaviour, as well. In qualitative research 6 interviewers were involved. The low number of high school graduates in Purworejo who continue their education to college is caused by the students’ concerns about the high cost of education and lack of student confidence in their abilities. Background: Uganda is ranked 14 out of 54 countries in Africa with the highest level of teenage pregnancy. The teenage pregnancy rate in Kibuku District in 2016 was 35.8%, high above the average rate in Uganda (25%) and also above rural areas in Uganda (27%). Unfortunately, there is limited information on the experiences of seeking antenatal care and delivery among teenagers. This paper explored teenagers’ experiences seeking services at health facilities in the Kibuku district, Eastern Uganda. Methods: This study used a phenomenological design. Data were collected using in-depth interviews with 27 teenagers aged 14-19 years seeking antenatal care (ANC) or those who had delivered. The teenagers were purposively selected to participate in the study. Data collected was thematically and inductively analyzed through coding. Results: The study showed that most teenage mothers knew the importance of seeking ANC and delivery from a health facility. Unfortunately, few sought services early due to some experiences, including financial constraints, support from their caregivers (husbands and parents), medication, and health education. The teenagers were motivated to attend ANC and were treated well by health workers. However, most teenagers did not have the decision-making power to seek care. Conclusion: Teenage mothers knew the importance of seeking ANC and delivery at health facilities. Their experiences with the health facilities also contributed to the health-seeking behavior of the teenagers, including the comfort received by the girls at the facility, the medication administered, how they were treated by the health workers and the availability of utilities. Health and social workers could consider sensitizing teenagers and their caregivers about the delicate nature of their health when pregnant to make personal decisions.

The impact of the internet is currently very worrying for teenagers. Both teenagers who are still in school and teenagers who are not in school. One of the consequences of this internet addiction is FoMO Syndrome (Fear of Missing Out) which means a teenager's fear of missing himself in information on various social media such as IG, WA, FB and other applications. From this problem, the most influential impact in the lives of teenagers is the lack of social interaction with the surrounding environment, because they are too busy thinking about updating information on social media.

The thin-ideal body for teenage girls and muscular-ideal body for teenage boys, which is prominent on social media, is disruptive for teenagers mental health and eating habits. Consequently, teenagers become prone to developing eating disorders. Research suggests that teenagers who spend more time on social media are at a greater risk of developing obesity. Research Methodology: I have reviewed several scholarly articles to formulate my research and arguments.
