Purpose Point duration in competitive tennis is becoming shorter, highlighting a greater emphasis on performance of the first strokes of each point, in particular, the performance of the server. Methods Descriptive measures of the video-based analysis included stroke type, point outcome and stroke position of the first two strokes of the server (service and first shot) during 10 randomly selected sets of competition on hard court. All participants (male; n = 8) were of the age group 14 years and below and competed in national level events. Results The performance of the first serve is characterized by an “in-percentage” of 54.6% and an improved chance of winning the point (for the server) following a first serve (55.9%; P < 0.001) compared to a second serve (42.9%). The majority of stroke positions for first-shot winners were located in the central zone of the court (52.1%; P < 0.01). In comparison to the error rate of all examined strokes, we observed an increased error rate of the first shot (16.5% vs. 22.4%; P < 0.01). Conclusion Contrasting to professionals, juniors produce more first-serve errors and win fewer points directly via the serve. Success in junior tennis relies in minimizing errors within short rallies specifically on the first shot of the server. Coaches of national level junior tennis players should focus on strategies to optimize court position following the serve and service percentage to increase competitive success rate. To achieve this, the server should utilize the serve as a “set-up” tool, dictating the direction of the returner’s return of serve within the central zones of the court.

Running performances (RPs) are known to be important parameters of success in football (soccer), but there is a lack of studies where RPs are contextualized regarding applied tactical solutions. This study aims to quantify and analyze the differences in position-specific RPs in professional football, when games are played with three defensive players (3DP) and four defensive players (4DP). The participants here include professional football players (M ± SD, age 23.57 ± 2.84 years, body height 181.9 ± 5.17 cm, body mass 78.36 ± 4.18 kg) playing at the highest competitive level in Croatia. RPs were measured by global positioning system and classified into four groups based on playing positions: central defenders (CD; n = 47), wide defenders (WD; n = 24), midfielders (MF; n = 48), or forwards (FW; n = 19). Analysis of variance and discriminant canonical analysis are used to identify differences between 3DP and 4DP tactical solutions in terms of the RPs for each playing position. The number of accelerations and decelerations most significantly contributed to the differentiation of 3DP and 4DP among MFs (Wilks λ = 0.31, p < 0.001), with higher occurrences with 3DP. For CDs, total distance, and high-intensity running were higher in 3DP (Wilks λ = 0.66, p < 0.001). No multivariate differences were found for FW and WD players in terms of the RPs between 3DP and 4DP tactical formations. The characteristics and differences shown in this study may provide useful information for coaching staff regarding changing in-season tactical formations. Additionally, the results are useful for optimizing training programs for football players with different playing positions. When changing from 4DP to 3DP tactical formations, WDs training programs should include more of high-intensity running, while MFs training programs should be more based on short intensity activities (accelerations and decelerations).

Abstract The aim of this study was to identify the morphological configuration of youth athletes from professional soccer clubs and to verify their differences according to the tactical position on the field. Overall, 67 male players aged 15 to 17 years were evaluated. The examined anthropometric measurements included body mass, body height, skinfolds (triceps, subscapular, supraspinal and medial calf), girths (flexed and tensed arm and calf) and breadths (humerus and femur). For statistical purposes, analysis of variance and post hoc Bonferroni and Kruskal-Wallis tests were used. We concluded that goalkeepers were heavier and taller than center backs (p = 0.015 and p = 0.001), midfielders (p = 0.005 and p <0.001) and center forward players (p = 0.024 and p <0.001). The average somatotype for defense, forward and goalkeeper positions was a balanced mesomorph. Midfield players showed ectomorphic-mesomorph characteristics. It was concluded that goalkeepers were characterized as being taller and heavier and that somatotype features of athletes were similar between positions, except for midfield players

With the development of sports, competition is becoming more and more confrontational and modern sports are developing in the direction of fast speed, fast rhythm, good skills, and high-altitude combat. And, this development requires good conditions and technology as a guarantee. Sports denote a competitive physical activity, which follows four aspects of competition: technology is the foundation, tactics are the means, the body is the cornerstone, and the psychology is the decisive point. Among these four factors, if the athlete does not have a good body, all techniques and know-how are empty talks. In this paper, two algorithms are introduced to track the athletes’ physical training and tactical training videos and the relevant data in the game are counted to obtain the physical indicators required by the athletes in each position. In a certain game, the sprint distance in the first round was 1979 m, the high-speed running distance was 2426 m, the high-intensity running distance was 4398 m, and the jogging distance was 1267 m.

In this paper, we will make a fact-finding study on the game model of peripheral players in the 2018- 2019 competition year, a more objective analysis of the performance of the players and the team. The main task of the study was to study the parameters of the game model of the players who work in the positions of point guard (position 1), shooting guard or small forward (position 2 and 3) and to detach their characteristic elements. If the values of the parameters of the game model recorded for the basketball players by positions are known, objective assessments can be made on their value and evolution. There is a poor training of peripheral players in terms of the accuracy of the basket throws but also a large number of lost balls. All these aspects indicate a low level of physical and technical-tactical training of the peripheral players. This study provides general information on the level of performance and to improve it, detailed studies should be conducted, in particular on the training content of these players

Chery, which used to be the leader of Chinese indigenous automobile manufacturers as well as the entry-level market, has been losing its leader position since 2010. Chery, founded in 1997, has experienced a radical expansion along with industrial liberalization and economic growth in China since 2000. In 2007, Chery started the internationalization strategy by launching two middle and high-end brands and developing a series of joint ventures consecutively. However, Chery has confronted various challenges since 2010 with the growing maturity of Chinese automobile industry, including declining domestic sales and market share, and thus was in a weak position under attack. Finally, Chery announced its tactical adjustments in April 2013. This case describes the co-evolution between the environmental transitions of Chinese automotive industry and the business strategies of Chery. Students are asked to analyze the development of Chery and provide specific suggestions of future directions on competitive strategy for Chery.

Introduction. Maintaining and strengthening the market position of enterprises makes it necessary to find ways to increase their competitiveness. One of them is to substantiate the evaluation characteristics of the overall competitive position of the enterprise and to create a system of managing the competitive state of the entity in the market of the entity, which necessitates the study, analysis and evaluation of competitiveness. At the enterprise level, competitiveness is an independent category that reflects the degree of realization of the goals of the enterprise in its interaction with the environment. At present, there is no commonly accepted definition of the concept of "competitiveness". A number of scholars interpret one entity using different terms and vice versa Modern science presents a wide range of methods for assessing competitiveness, but despite this, the process of modifying them and creating new options continues. Purpose. Development of theoretical foundations, scientific and methodological recommendations and practical tools for managing enterprise competitiveness. Method (methodology). The basis of research consists of general – scientific and specific scientific methods (economic – statistical, methods of strategic analysis and planning), traditional methods and techniques of economic analysis (tabular, comparison). To select and substantiate the enterprise's competitive strategy, a scientific approach is used, based on the separate definition of tactical, strategic competitiveness and competitiveness, which will allow the company to make sound management decisions in the conditions of competition. The factors used in describing the logic behind constructing segmentation of competitive strategies are the results of assessing the competitiveness and competitiveness of the enterprise, a comprehensive study of which allows to divide strategic competitiveness into a number of segments, correlated with each other in the form of a special matrix. Results. The processes of formation and management of enterprise competitiveness are investigated. The essence of the enterprise competitiveness and the specificity of its formation are determined. The classification of the types of competitiveness of the enterprise, which form the basis of methodological principles, is developed. Regardless of the intensity of competition for each business, it is necessary to develop an effective strategy that will outweigh the competitors. It is noted that such factors as accidental events, activity of state power structures and the degree of privatization of enterprises in this sector should be included in the system of determinants. The peculiarities of enterprise competitiveness management are determined on the basis of strategic approach.

The purpose of the research. The purpose of the article is to build a conceptual scheme of the interaction of structural elements in the system of ecological and economic competitive potential of the region to improve the mechanisms of interaction of elements in the system of ecological and economic competitive advantages of the regions. Methodology. The general scientific methods, including generalization, aggregation, comparison, are used in the research - to analyze the views of scientists on the subject of study of ecological and economic competitive advantages of regions; and special methods, such as analysis and synthesis - to formulate basic categories of research, expert evaluation - to build a system of factors of environmental and economic competitiveness of the regions of Ukraine, graphic representation - to visualize the results of the research. Results. The approaches to determining the competitive advantages of the regions existing in the scientific literature are analyzed, and it is estimated that the absolute majority of authors in their research consider the view of the competitiveness of the regions by the system. The system is proposed to consider the competitive potential of the region, and the competitiveness of the regions as a system characteristic. From this position, the main elements of ecological and economic competitive potential are identified, in particular: the actual competitive potential of the region, sources and factors of regional competitiveness, ecological and economic competitive advantages, competitive positions and competitive status of the region. The characteristics of the components of the ecological and economic competitive potential of the regions, allocated in accordance with the logic, are presented, as well as the substantiated indicators that are proposed to be used for the evaluation of the economic and environmental components of the potential. The proposed classification of factors of ecological and economic competitiveness of Ukrainian regions, which distinguishes them from the existing ones, is a comprehensive reflection of all groups of factors that determine the ecological and economic competitive potential of regions, as well as the possibility of ranking the factors of competitiveness by the degree of economic and environmental impact. In order to assess the degree of influence of the selected factors on the ecological and economic competitiveness of the regions, an expert evaluation was conducted organized in a selective manner. Leading specialists (civil service experience of at least 5 years) of the regional authorities, namely the Regional State Administrations of the regions of Ukraine, were selected as experts, who were invited to fill in the developed questionnaire form. The above classification has revealed that environmental and economic competitiveness factors can influence at the regional level the living conditions of citizens, the activities of organizations and ensure effective public administration, while the influence on some factors is limited by established state and regional powers. The stages of transformation of sources of competitive advantage into positive dynamics of indicators of competitiveness of the region are highlighted, appropriate procedures and tools for their implementation are developed. The conceptual scheme of interaction of elements in the system of ecological and economic competitive potential of the region is developed. Practical meaning. Building a conceptual scheme of interaction of structural elements in the system of ecological and economic competitive potential of the region allows to trace how the ecological and economic competitive potential of the region is transformed into sources of ecological and economic competitive advantages by means of economic and ecological factors of regional competitiveness, - economic competitive advantages on which the competitive position of the region is based. Prospects for further research have established the rationale for strategic and tactical tools for managing the region's ecological and economic competitiveness.

The problem of school innovative educational activities is considered to be urgent due to the competition on the market of educational services. Content, technology and teaching educational innovations become the source of competitive advantages of the modern school. Innovation is always a risk, because only a few of them are implemented in reality and lead to positive results. The purpose of this paper is to clarify the content and methodological aspects of opportunities and risks prediction as an integral part of school innovative development. The basis of the author's position is the probabilistic nature of school, which is manifested in the uncertainty and unpredictability of the effects of innovations introduction in the educational process. Subjects of innovative activity, innovative activity itself and the environment are thought to be the main factors of uncertainty. Chances and risks are considered to be the forms of actualization of school future development. Chances and risks are objective and subjective. The author describes a hierarchy of predictable chances and risks, including operational, tactical and strategic levels. Chances and risks prediction is considered to be a mechanism for reducing the uncertainty and unpredictability of school innovative development. The author represents methodological aspects of opportunities and risks prediction. The paper contains an example of real educational practice.

Subject area Strategic market entry; international business; marketing. Study level/applicability MBA/MA in management; international business; postgraduate. Case overview This case is based on a real-life situation of an existing transnational firm contemplating to enter a new market in a developing country. It involves a gamut of issues ranging from firm-strategic market entry, competitive positioning, international marketing strategies (including international market segmentation) and international product lifecycle. These issues revolve on numerous theories namely theories on internationalization (motive, scope, process, scale and timing of entry) and globalization of markets (standardization versus adaptation). In the past, the market was heavily regulated and protected which makes market entry simply impossible. However, a change in government policy is opening up new opportunities for foreign providers to participate in the host country. Although the market potential is enormous, there are various factors that concern the firm in determining its market entry and marketing mix decision. Expected learning outcomes After carrying out this exercise, students are expected to be able to: evaluate a firm's internal and external position in market expansion decision; assess a country's attractiveness in terms of its potential, competitive intensity and entry barriers; identify and discuss the factors that influence firm's marketing mix decision (standardize/adapt); and determine the firm market entry and the tactical decisions. The purpose of this study was three-fold: (1) to describe anthropometric, maturation, and somatotype differences of players based on playing positions; (2) to analyze variations of accumulated load training (AcL) and fitness parameters between playing positions; and finally (3) to explain the variation of maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max) and peak power (PP) through the AcL, body fat (BF), maturity, somatotype and fitness levels. Twenty-seven male youth soccer players under-16 were divided by the following positions participated in this study: six central midfielders, four wingers (WG), five forwards, eight defenders, and four goalkeepers (GK). They were evaluated on two occasions: pre-season and after-season. Height, sitting height, body mass, BF, girths, percentage of BF (BF%), lean body mass, maturity, somatotype, sprint test, change of direction test, Yo-Yo intermittent recovery test level 1, Wingate, PP, VO2max and fatigue index were assessed. Then, AcL was monitored during training sessions. The main results revealed significant differences between player positions for maturity offset (p = 0.001), for BF (p = 0.006), BF% (p = 0.015), and lean body mass kg (p = 0.003). Also, there were significant differences for AcL and fatigue index in pre-season between player positions (p < 0.05). In addition, there were some significant differences in pre- and after-season for VO2max and PP between player positions (p < 0.05). In conclusion, GK showed higher values in anthropometric, body composition variables and maturity offset compared to the other positions, while WG presented lower levels of BF. In pre-season, there were more differences by player positions for the different variables analyzed than after-season that reinforces the tactical role of the positions, and the emphasis in increased load in the beginning of the season. This study could be used by coaches, staff, and researchers as a reference for athletes of the same sex, age, and competitive level.

ObjectivesThis study assessed the mass of international rugby players in the men’s and women’s Rugby World Cups between 1991 and 2019. The objective was to quantify changes in mass of players by position, and to compare changes between men and women, and between established (Tier 1 (T1)) and emerging (Tier 2 (T2)) rugby nations.SettingRugby World Cups from 1991 to 2019 for men’s players and 2010 to 2017 for women’s players.Participants4447 elite male and 958 elite female players.Primary and secondary outcome measuresPlayer body mass, grouped as men and women, T1 and T2 nations, and by playing position, assessed over time.ResultsMen’s player mass increased significantly between 1991 and 2019 (T1 overall 9.7% increase), but this increase occurred almost entirely up to 2011. Women’s forwards mass increased by 4.8% in T1, with no changes in T2 or backs from either tier. Significant differences in mass were found between T1 and T2 forwards and backs for both men and women.ConclusionsThe body mass of men’s players has stabilised after initial increases following professionalisation. Player body mass may be approaching a plateau, beyond which no further performance advantages occur. Changes to laws and tactical approaches by coaches may have contributed to this, by changing match demands on players, necessitating endurance, agility and speed. Trends in the evolution of T2 players suggest a barrier to identifying and developing heavy athletic players, and may require intervention to ensure competitive parity.

Objective. To assess the difference in physical fitness of players in successful versus less-successful professional soccer teams in South Africa. Design. Professional soccer players (N = 140) underwent a battery of tests assessing important physiological components during the early part of their competitive season. Players were then separated into two groups on the basis of their teams' final log position in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) in South Africa. Players in successful (N = 70) and less-successful (N = 70) teams were in the top four or bottom six positions on the log respectively. Descriptive statistics (mean ± standard deviation (SD)) were calculated for each group, and independent t-tests were used to compare the means of the groups for each of the physical tests. Main outcome measures. Body composition, flexibility, muscle strength-endurance, power, speed, agility, aerobic endurance, and repeat sprint distance. Results. There were no significant differences between groups for all measures of body composition, flexibility, repeat sprint distance, and agility. Significant differences (p < 0.05) were found for sit-ups, aerobic endurance, and speed, but these were generally small, not meaningful differences in performance. Players in successful squads were significantly (p < 0.01) older than those in less-successful teams. Conclusions. The results demonstrate that in South Africa level of physical fitness is not higher in more-successful compared with less-successful teams in the PSL. Factors other than physical fitness may be more important in determining successful league performance and discrimi-nate better between players in teams with different levels of success. Improving professional soccer performance may require coaches and trainers to focus more attention on technical and tactical skill development in sport-specific training once an acceptable standard of fitness has been attained.. The aim of this study was to assess the changes in jump and sprint performances after the preseason period across 14 seasons depending on the initial performance level and the playing position in young professional soccer players. In total, 162 soccer players (age = 20.6 ± 1.8 years) belonging to the same reserve team of a Spanish La Liga club participated in this study. Countermovement jump (CMJ) and 5 and 15 m sprints were assessed in each season at the start of the preseason (July), Test 1 (T1), and the start of the competitive period (September), Test 2 (T2), from the 1998 to 2013 seasons. Considering all seasons, a trivial change was found in the sprint (5 m, Effect Size [ES] = −0.01; ±0.11, most-likely; and 15 m, ES = 0.05; ±0.09, most-likely) and countermovement jump (CMJ) performances (ES = −0.03; ±0.07; most-likely) after the preseason, but this varied across the seasons. While the fastest players in 5 m and 15 m tests and the most powerful worsened their performances in sprinting capacity (ES = 0.53–0.65, small very-likely) and in jump ability (ES = −0.54; ±0.25, small very-likely), respectively, the slowest players and the less powerful improved their performance likely/most-likely (ES = −0.33 and −0.68, small and moderate) and very-likely (ES = 0.40; ±0.20, small) after the precompetitive period. The changes in CMJ and sprinting were trivial and trivial/small for all tactical positions. The changes in neuromuscular performance after the preseason were not stable across the seasons and varied depending on the initial performance level. Individualization strategies should be considered in the design of strength and conditioning programs in order to optimize the training process.

The article is aimed at studying and automating the stages of decision-making process for the development and implementation of health insurance products using the economic, mathematical, and simulation modeling. When analyzing the scientific works of scholars on the development of health insurance in Ukraine, the main stages of the decision-making process are allocated, the major of them are: the market need for an insurance product in the external environment; clear definition of the company’s tactical and strategic goals; examining the properties and characteristics of the insurance product; risk assessment and profitability of the insurance product. In the course of the study, the modeling of risk assessment, profitability of health insurance programs and analysis of the obtained results were carried out in detail. It is substantiated that a comprehensive analysis of the risk and profitability of health insurance programs will allow to form the necessary insurance reserves, to ensure the competitive position of an insurance company and to fulfill the targeted goals. If statistical information is available, any health insurance programs, including the COVID-19 insurance programs that require an assessment of pandemic risk, which requires special attention from both society and insurance, can be analyzed. It should be noted that modeling is a key element for assessing and managing pandemic risk. Prospects for further research in this direction are the expansion of the base of economic, mathematical and analytical models for assessing the risk of insurance portfolio and the inclusion in the simulation model of a wider range of factors of both the external and the internal environment.

Turkey and Iran are two Middle Eastern neighbors building their relationship on the basis of competition and cooperation. Both countries aim at the position of regional leader and want to offer their own «model» of development to the Middle East. Historical neighborship has provided Turkey and Iran not only with the experience of struggle for influence, but an ability to interact in the spheres of overlapping interests as well. Turmoil in the Middle East attracts the attention of researchers to the issue of Turkish-Iranian relations. The article deals with the key areas of regional relations of the two countries reflecting their efforts to keep the power balance though they have contradicting interest. Islamic revolution in Iran in 1979 has put Turkish and Iranian «models» in adversary positions to one another emphasizing religion vs secularism. The Turkish side has broadened the range of its instruments after Justice and Development Party coming to power in Ankara, although its aim remains to be the promotion of Western concepts in the Middle East. The Party’s strategy to expand Turkish influence in the region takes into account the Ottoman heritage, which modern Ankara seeks to popularize in order to reinforce its claims to regional leadership. The competitive arsenal of the Turkish leadership includes historical ties with the peoples of the region and the experience of the Europeanization of the Muslim state.Iran is promoting its vision of Muslim democracy, positioning itself as a staunch fighter against the expansionism of the West and, despite the decline in warlike rhetoric, does not refuse to export the values of the Islamic revolution. Ankara is at odds with Western countries on private issues or methods, but generally it shares the same strategic approaches. Tehran, on the contrary, rejects the ideological rapprochement with the West and the borrowing of Western development models, advocating maintaining its own path. In fact, Iran and Turkey offer Middle Eastern countries alternative political transformation options.Iraq and Syria represent both the sphere of Turkish-Iranian competition and the possibility for tactical alignment on the basis of converging interests. The events of recent years have demonstrated that at the times when the Turkey and Iran sense common threats, they put their contradictions on the back burner. Pragmatism and rivalry in Turkish-Iranian relations are not alternatives but exist in parallel as a way of maintaining a regional balance of power between the two countries. This explains the ability of Ankara and Tehran to seek compromises. At the same time, the various approaches of these states to the future structure of the Middle East region will continue to hinder the creation of a stable alliance between them. These realities must be taken into account when assessing the prospects for the development of the regional situation and the potential of Turkish-Iranian relations, the study of which is especially important for Russia, taking into account trilateral cooperation to resolve the crisis in Syria.

The development of the economic situation in Russia in recent years is characterized by the achievement of stabilization at the macro level, the strengthening of investment activity, the expansion of the scope of activities of the processing industry, the strengthening of public confidence in domestic goods and finished products. The research urgency is caused by the fact that in Russia economic competition becomes more acute in oil and fat processing sector, also has a problem of lack of training organizations to consider the impact of external factors and competitive advantages of the industry to ensure financial stability. The purpose of the study is to study the features of factors affecting the competitiveness of the oil processing complex. On the basis of sources of economic literature, the authors studied the competitiveness of vegetable oil production by comparison and identified the problems of insufficient methodological support for studying the impact of factors that determine the current state of the vegetable oil market, methods and approaches for assessing the competitiveness of organizations. The leading direction is a comprehensive approach presented by the authors in the article, including the study of domestic and international experience in determining the factors of internal and external environment that affect the development of the industry. The study of the traditional system of assessing the competitiveness of vegetable oils is given, proposed by Russian and foreign scientists. As a result of the conducted research it is established that modern domestic and foreign methods of the analysis of the competitiveness of vegetable oils do not differ in high quality and have shortcomings. The authors noted that the analysis of the concept of competitiveness of vegetable oils does not take into account the quality indicators are not always fully represented the composition and structure of the concept, not justified organizational and methodological approaches to the analysis of the concept of competitiveness applicable to vegetable oils. The researchers note the need for an objective assessment of the analysis of the concept of competitiveness of vegetable oils to supplement it with a more detailed study of improving the level of competitiveness. In their opinion, the lack of a single definition of the term "competitiveness of products" is one of the most difficult in the formation of an adequate approach to the assessment of the phenomenon. This leads to the fact that the most common assessment is a comparative assessment of similar vegetable oils with ethanol. The study conducted by the authors has scientific and practical significance and will allow to develop a methodological apparatus (parameters and criteria for assessing the level of competitiveness of vegetable oils) in accordance with the requirements of the industry in the world economy, as well as to form a set of strategic and tactical management decisions to improve the competitiveness of vegetable oils and mechanisms of interaction in creating competitive advantages and strengthening the market position of vegetable oils.

The article considers the systematic and complex development of the term “management of strategic development of the enterprise”, which occurs through a consistent combination of developments of scientists and business representatives. It is argued that modern views and knowledge on the management of strategic development in the current socio-economic conditions significantly affect the effectiveness of the strategic management system and the development of domestic enterprises. The interpretation of leading domestic and foreign scholars on the interpretation of the concepts of “strategy”, “strategic development management”, “strategic planning” is considered. Attention is paid to anti-crisis strategic management at various levels, namely through the corporate level, the level of first managers, functional level (finance, marketing, product and production policy), linear level (heads of departments, representative offices, branches). In scientific work much attention is paid to the corporate strategy of the enterprise taking into account the influence of internal and external factors in order to develop optimal options for operational, tactical and strategic management decisions, which should focus on monitoring and controlling all types of enterprises to prevent crises. The paper proposes measures of corporate strategy, which should form a set of tools for cross-functional integration of the enterprise by achieving synergies, promote participation of all departments in the development of new enterprise strategy, management of strategic initiatives and changes, integration of strategic priorities and coordination of human resources. It is argued that the management of strategic development, aimed at creating competitive advantages of the enterprise and the establishment of an effective strategic position that will ensure the future viability of the enterprise in changing conditions. The choice of strategy in strategic management is related to the state of key factors, which include the strengths of the industry and the enterprise, purpose, mission, the interests of senior management, employee skills. The dynamic process of strategic management of the enterprise is the umbrella under which the enterprise can confidently move towards the goal, despite the adverse effects of the environment.

The purpose of the study was to substantiate the effectiveness of hand-to-hand combat as a service-applied sport in the process of physical training of law enforcement officers. Materials and methods. Theoretical analysis of scientific and methodical literature, generalization of scientific data of modern approaches to the organization of the process of special physical training of law enforcement officers, pedagogical observations and pedagogical experiment were used. To determine the operational composition of technical and tactical actions used by law enforcement officers in their professional activities and differences in martial arts on various grounds, an analysis of video materials of competitions among law enforcement agencies in hand-to-hand combat from the section "Demonstrations of applied equipment" of hand-to-hand combat in 2019-2020 was used. Results and discussion. The use of hand-to-hand combat - service-applied sport as an element of special physical training of law enforcement officers is substantiated. It is established that the distinguishing feature of hand-to-hand combat as a sport and part of special physical training of law enforcement officers is the presence of directions of work with weapons (stick, knife, pistol, machine gun), counteraction to several attackers and the use of an element of surprise (unexpected attack). The operational composition of the means used by law enforcement officers in their professional activities and athletes in different types of martial arts and the differences between the types of martial arts by different distinctions are determined. Conclusion. Hand-to-hand combat is a unique service-applied sport, which consists of sections "Demonstration of applied equipment" and "Duels". A distinctive feature of hand-to-hand combat as a sport and part of special physical training of law enforcement officers is the presence of areas of work with weapons (stick, knife, pistol, machine gun), resistance to several attackers and the use of an element of surprise (unexpected attack). The content of competitive activity in the section "Demonstration of applied equipment" of hand-to-hand combat fully corresponds to the specifics of solving operational and service tasks without the use and with the use of weapons by law enforcement officers. The operational composition of the means used by law enforcement officers in their professional activities and athletes in various martial arts (hand-to-hand combat, combat sambo, pankration) are identical, which in turn allows in the process of special physical training of law enforcement officers to conduct classes in these martial arts. According to the main features that distinguish different types of martial arts (clothing, allowed and prohibited by law ways to achieve advantage, the position in which to fight, the size and features of the site, the time allotted for technical and tactical actions) hand-to-hand combat is most suitable for special physical training, training of law enforcement officers. It is proved that hand-to-hand combat is the most suitable type of martial arts for special physical training of law enforcement officers

Abstract The purpose of this study was to analyse the dynamics of play based on dyads during soccer matches, according to the competition level, period of the matches, and playing positions. We recorded eight Brazilian soccer matches (four of the national and four of the regional level), using up to six digital cameras (30 Hz). The position information of the 204 players in the eight matches was obtained using an automatic tracking system. The Euclidean distance between the nearest opponents was calculated over time to define the dyads. The interaction between the components of dyads was assessed by the distances between players and was compared among the different positions (defender, full-back, defensive midfielder, midfielder, and forward), match periods (15, 30, 45, 60, 75, and 90 min), and competition levels. Results showed smaller distances for the national level dyads, compared to the regional matches. Greater distances between the players were found in the last 15 minutes of the matches, compared to the other periods. The full-backs were more distant from opposing players compared to players from other playing positions. Thus, coaches should consider the characteristics of each playing position and the greater proximity between opponents’ players in top-level competition for the development of tactical proficiency of the players.

The aim of this study was to quantify the physical demands of female beach volleyball competition with reference to player position, set, and match outcome. Twelve professional players were equipped with a 10 Hz GPS device (Minimax S4, Catapult Sports, Australia). Data collection occurred over 30 official matches, with a total of 50 sets. GPS output variables were related to position (e.g., Defenders and Blockers). Differences between players’ positions were found in Peak Player Load, the distance covered at different intensities, and acceleration and deceleration. Variations during the match were more pronounced for Defenders than for Blockers, with the former increasing the intensity of acceleration and deceleration, and decreasing the velocity of displacements and lower jumps. For Blockers, main variations occurred between the first and second set, with a reduction in velocity displacements and an increase in the intensity of jumps. Defender variables that contributed to victory were high deceleration, velocity, acceleration, and Peak Player Load. The characteristics of Blockers that contributed to victory were maximum velocity and high jumps. Female beach volleyball players seem to have different physiological requirements according to their position. The analysis of these variations throughout the game suggests that a specific player’s position output may be determined by proper and/or opponent tactical schemes.

Articles were selected if they focused on player position and technological tracking methods. After duplicate removal, 2194 articles were identified based on the established search criteria, of which 72 articles were selected and analysed. Semi-automatic optic-based systems, Global Positioning System/Global Navigation Satellite Systems, and local positioning systems were used in 60%, 33% and 7% of the studies, respectively. All studies that measured tactical variables by local positioning system technology in team sports used local position measurement technology. Optic-based systems were used more often in the early years to analyse collective tactical behaviour during competition. Later, Global Positioning System/Global Navigation Satellite Systems became more frequent to measure behaviour in team sports during the training process. The possibility of using the same system during competition and training will facilitate the assessment of collective tactical behaviour in team sports.

Purpose:A limitation of most rugby league time–motion studies is that researchers have examined the demands of single teams, with no investigations of all teams in an entire competition. This study investigated the activity profiles and technical and tactical performances of successful and less-successful teams throughout an entire rugby league competition. Methods:In total, 185 rugby league players representing 11 teams from a semiprofessional competition participated in this study. Global positioning system analysis was completed across the entire season. Video footage from individual matches was also coded via notational analysis for technical and tactical performance of teams. Results:Trivial to small differences were found among Top 4, Middle 4, and Bottom 4 teams for absolute and relative total distances covered and distances covered at low speeds. Small, nonsignificant differences (P = .054, ES = 0.31) were found between groups for the distance covered sprinting, with Top 4 teams covering greater sprinting distances than Bottom 4 teams. Top 4 teams made more meters in attack and conceded fewer meters in defense than Bottom 4 teams. Bottom 4 teams had a greater percentage of slow play-the-balls in defense than Top 4 teams (74.8% ± 7.3% vs 67.2% ± 8.3%). Middle 4 teams showed the greatest reduction in high-speed running from the first to the second half (–20.4%), while Bottom 4 teams completed 14.3% more high-speed running in the second half than in the first half. Conclusion:These findings demonstrate that a combination of activity profiles and technical and tactical performance are associated with playing success in semiprofessional rugby league players.

Purpose:To gain more insight in pacing behavior and tactical positioning in 1500-m short-track speed skating, a sport in which several athletes directly compete in the same race. Methods:Lap times and intermediate rankings of elite 1500-m short-track-skating competitors were collected over the season 2012–13 (N = 510, 85 races). Two statistical approaches were used to assess pacing behavior and tactical positioning. First, lap times were analyzed using a MANOVA, and for each lap differences between sex, race type, final rankings, and stage of competition were determined. Second, Kendall tau b correlations were used to assess relationships between intermediate and final rankings. In addition, intermediate rankings of the winner of each race were examined. Results:In 1500 m (13.5 laps of 111.12 m), correlations between intermediate and final ranking gradually increased throughout the race (eg, lap 1, r = .05; lap 7, r = .26; lap 13, r = .85). Moreover, the percentage of race winners skating in the leading position was over 50% during the last 3 laps. Top finishers were faster than bottom-place finishers only during the last 5 laps, with on average 0.1- to 1.5-s faster lap times of the race winners compared with the others during the last 5 laps. Conclusions:Although a fast start led to faster finishing times, top finishers were faster than bottom-placed finishers only during the last 5 laps. Moreover, tactical positioning at 1 of the foremost positions during the latter phase of the race appeared to be a strong determinant of finishing position.

A successful football team not only consists of more than a dozen people on the field but also includes a complete training, analysis, coaching team behind it, and the same basic education and youth training system. With the development of scientific concepts and the advancement of computer technology, more people have begun to study the use of modern technology to replace part of the traditional human work with low creativity and the use of more convenient quantitative analysis, prediction and other technologies to assist football professionals’ decision-making. Based on big data and neural network technology, this paper has designed a novel football technical and tactical command decision algorithm. First, the use of big data technology for analyzing the characteristics of the historical big data of football competitions provides valuable data for the work of this article. Secondly, to formulate scientific and reasonable football technical and tactical command, it requires learning effective offensive or defensive strategies from the big data of football competitions. This article uses deep neural networks to learn massive amounts of football competition data, which can effectively predict the offensive and defensive tactics of each position of the team to a certain extent. In addition, in order to better learn the timing video data of football matches, this paper also has proposed to use long- and short-term memory networks to improve the algorithm of this paper. The proposed method has achieved good results in football technical and tactical command and decision-making and also provides some new ideas for the subject of football combined with computer technology.

Abstract. The aim of this study was to know the influence of the players’ serve tactical position and its relationship with the direction, the side of the court and the point outcome in elite padel. The sample included a total of 1071 points corresponding to nine matches with 36 male players of 1st National Category. Variables related to the serve tactic position (conventional or Australian), serve direction (side wall or "T"), court side (right or left) and point outcome (serve pair win or lose) were analyzed. The results showed that padel players serve between 75% and 85% of the times to the side wall on the left side of the court (advantages side). On the right side, the percentage of serves to the "T" is increased, especially using an Australian tactical position. Furthermore, serving pair win a higher percentage points when they use traditional tactic. However, these differences are not significant when the players serve to the "T" or the side wall, from both sides of the court. Finally, the percentage of points won by serving pair decreases as the padel match progresses, especially with Australian tactic from the second to the third set. These data have an important practical application in the design of padel exercises based on the specific technical-tactical competition demands.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to comment on Professor Ming-Jer Chen’s recent publication titled “Competitive dynamics: Eastern roots, Western growth” and present an asymmetry reversing perspective on the competitive dynamics between two nonobvious, invisible or indirect competitors, namely, how emerging market resource-poor firms compete and outcompete advanced country resource-rich rivals. Design/methodology/approach The author first identifies an important neglect in Professor Chen’s scholarship on competitive dynamics, i.e., the neglect of the ubiquity of the less visible competition between two actors who initially would not be considered as competitors. Then, the author proposes an asymmetry reversing theory (ART) of competitive dynamics to redress this neglect. The theory is presented in two parts. The first part describes the competitive dynamics between the two actors as a three-stage process of reversing the asymmetry in resource possession and market position between the resource-poor firm and its resource-rich rivals. The second part explains the key success factors for the resource-poor firm to go through each of the three stages. Findings The growth process of the resource-poor firm can be broadly divided into three stages: surviving, catching-up, and outcompeting. For ambitious yet pragmatic resource-poor firms, in the surviving stage, they often (have to) accept the asymmetry between themselves and their resource-rich rivals in terms of resource possession and market position, and try to avoid any direct competition with the strong incumbents. They often tactically appear to pursue different paths of development from those of the strong incumbents by focusing on particular product categories and market segments. Doing so allows the resource-poor firms to win times and spaces for non-interrupted growth. Once they have accumulated sufficient resources and market experiences, they start to reduce the asymmetry between themselves and their better-endowed rivals by entering the similar or same product categories and market segments. To effectively catch up and outcompete the incumbents, they often differentiate themselves from their rivals by offering cheaper products or services, adding new features to their products, providing extra services to their customers, inventing new business models, etc. Research limitations/implications One limitation of this paper is that the ART framework has so far been built on anecdotal evidences. It needs to be tested by empirical studies and refined further in the future. Another limitation is that the proposed theory is based on competitive dynamics between emerging market resource-poor firms and advanced country resource-rich firms. It needs to be tested whether this theory has applicability to any other firms. Originality/value This paper fills an important research gap in the competitive dynamics literature by proposing an asymmetry reversing theory of competitive dynamics between a weak latecomer and a strong incumbent in a competitive field.

Airports no longer have the luxury of operating as public utilities, secure from the competition or the demands of the global economy. Domestic deregulation of the airline industry, the inability of the federal government to achieve fully its open skies goals, the globalization and consolidation strategies of the nation's major carriers, and the globalization of the world economy in general, place airport managers and policy makers in a precarious position. This article examines the effect of these changes on the strategies and tactics of America's airports to succeed in what has become a fiercely competitive market for international air service. With the devolution of decision making authority to states and localities, airports find themselves pitted against one another in a battle for economic and political resources. Our examination suggests that airports hoping to succeed in securing or maintaining direct international access or gateway status must adopt aggressive and innovative strategies.

The development of an increasingly globalized and competitive industry, many entrepreneurs apply a contract employee system, this is one of the tactics in facing global competition. Employees with legal contract status generally have a weak position in a company, if someone with contract employee status makes a mistake, their working relationship with an agency can be easily terminated without conditions. Every company must pay attention to the level of leadership ability in this case a manager in communicating properly and correctly to all employees so as to create a good family climate which can ultimately improve employee performance. Increasing effective and correct leadership is one aspect of the effectiveness of employee work. The dominant leadership role is very important, especially when it is associated with the necessity to interact with an ever-changing and evolving environment, partly because of the rapid advances in science and technology.

The morphological characteristics of elite basketball players are of great interest to some authors in order to define the best morphological profile for a particular playing position and different levels of competition. The aim of the research was to determine the differences in morphological characteristics in professional basketball players in relation to the playing position in different league competitions and to determine the relevance of these characteristics for success in the game. The survey included a sample of 773 elite basketball players competing in five different leagues in Europe. In our study, we found that centers are significantly taller and heavier than guards and forwards are. In addition to other components of basketball (technique, tactics, coach strategy), body height, body mass and body mass index play a major role in overall performance in a basketball game in all positions. The obtained data can help coaches in the scouting process in which leagues in Europe are played by players with certain morphological characteristics in relation to the playing position.

AbstractIntroduction. This paper discusses the relationship between the technique implemented during competition and the end result including an attempt to evaluate the technical and tactical preparation of different nationality competitors in Greco- Roman wrestling. The research was conducted during the 2009 Junior World Cup in Turkey. Material and methods. The research material included a video recording posted by the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA) on their website. The material contained recordings of 240 matches. An analysis of 212 matches with competitors from 49 countries was conducted; each team selected one competitor in each weight category (up to 8 competitors in total). Results and conclusions. During the competition there was strong correlation between victory and the execution of the roll-through and the combat zone and result defence, also in the ground position. Competitors from Russia and Iran, who were most successful, winning 6 and 4 medals respectively, obtained an average of 3.18 technical points in each match. Among the sample analysed this was the lowest score, indicating the optimal use of technical and tactical skills by the competitors resulting in a victory.

In recent years, interest has increased in late-winter sowing of corn in northern Italy because of many agronomic advantages. However, cold and rainy weather slows initial crop growth, which can favor weed infestation. There is, therefore, a need for appropriate timing of weed control tactics based on an understanding of the competitive relationship and dynamics between crop and weeds. Five experiments were conducted over 4 yr, with a series of treatments increasing either duration of interference or length of weed-free period. Yield data were fitted with sigmoidal equations to find the critical point (CP) and critical period of weed control (CPWC). Although the CP is determined only by the competition between weed and crop, the CPWC is also market dependent. To quantify the effect of weed flora on the CP, a multiple regression model was tested, taking into account weed density, inflection point, and slope parameter of the Gompertz model of the cumulated infestation. The results confirmed that the late-winter sowing date increases the importance of late winter– and early spring–emerging weeds. In general, the precompetitive period was longer in the late winter–sown corn than in traditional midspring-sown corn. The delayed start of the CPWC makes control more difficult with a preemergence herbicide, which raises questions on the utility of this agronomic technique. Multiple regression analysis showed that the position of CP can be estimated with the density, earliness, and competitiveness of the infestation. Furthermore, the slope/inflection point ratio of the Gompertz model appears to be independent of sowing date. Results suggest that the weed–crop competition mechanism can be represented with simply the weed flora dynamic parameters and that a combination of crop–weed competition studies and emergence prediction models can predict the position of CP and give useful information about the CPWC and weed management.

In this experiment, competition was observed among native bull trout (Salvelinus confluentus (Suckley, 1859)) and non-native brook trout (Salvelinus fontinalis (Mitchill, 1814)) in artificial streams. In intraspecific competitions, brook trout engaged in territorial interference foraging strategies, and their foraging success was correlated with occupancy of the lead position in the stream. No correlation was apparent for bull trout, most of which engaged in nonterritorial scramble foraging tactics. In interspecific competitions, four stream environments were constructed in which fish density, habitat complexity, and current velocity were altered. Bull trout outcompeted brook trout for food in simple pool habitat devoid of cover when competition was head-to-head (density = 3 fish·m−2) between the species. When competitor number was doubled in this habitat, the two became equal competitors. At this higher density, bull trout again outcompeted brook trout for food when the habitat was changed to a complex riffle with substrate cover. Brook trout were more aggressive towards bull trout than vice versa, and interspecific aggression was decreased by low density, cover, and high stream velocity. Territorial brook trout aggressively interfere with their competitor for access to resources, but the success and intensity of this tactic against bull trout may be mitigated by environmental factors.

Leadership takes on many forms in an industry as challenging as construction. For more than 20 years, Hunzinger Construction Company conducts an annual strategic planning process whereby we take a hard look at our industry and develop tactical initiatives designed to challenge the status quo and be responsive to the ever-changing environment in which we conduct our business. Significant outcomes from this process have been (a) the development of a Total Quality Management process and commitment (Q3) where we engage our clients, specialty subcontractors/vendors/suppliers, and employees in the culture of quality awareness in every aspect of our project delivery systems, (b) the development and funding of Hunzinger Construction University (HCU) with the goal of providing continuous improvement of the skills of our people to make us a better company, and (c) researching emerging markets that we believe are key to the success and growth of our company. Additionally, we participate in a national PEER Review Group that provides quarterly sessions with eight similar, non-competing firms from every corner of the nation. Given the breadth of the participating firms and the depth to which the process delves into how each firm conducts itself in its respective marketplace, this PEER group activity stands out as one of the strongest drivers of our continued success and growth. This prestigious group, made up of the President/ CEOs of each of the participating firms, spends a great deal of time discussing trends in the industry and looks for meaningful ways that each can react to changing trends and remain on the leading edge of new developments. It was from this forum that the subject of green building came to light and Hunzinger Construction Company embarked on a commitment to internally challenging our culture to be true to the precepts of sustainable design and construction as we moved into our second century. We saw this as yet another success driver and an ability to continue to differentiate ourselves in a very competitive marketplace, while responding to the ever-growing trend of green building. We began our journey by becoming a corporate member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Wisconsin Green Building Alliance. Once these were in place, we hosted a USGBC Workshop in September 2004 to introduce the concept not only to staff members, but also extended the invitation to our Q3 partners, as well as the design and engineering community. The workshop was sponsored by HCU and was conducted by a USGBC trainer. Our goal was to provide a proper kick-off to our commitment, position us favorably in the marketplace, and begin to educate our team on the importance of sustainable design and construction. As a follow-up to the initial HCU event, President John C. Hunzinger and Executive Vice President James R. Hunzinger challenged all of our professional staff to obtain LEED Accredited Professional status. To achieve this goal, HCU sponsored company-wide training activities and study groups to insure that our people were well versed and prepared to pass the professional examination. To date, more than 65% of our professional staff has achieved LEED AP credentials, and we have over 20 additional LEED trained professionals among our ranks that are available to our clients for consultation in the early stages of project development.

This conceptual analysis explores recruiters’ ability to utilize the practice of strategic foresight to scan internal and external environments as a strategic plan to matching people to jobs. In today’s volatile market, it is no longer useful for recruiters to attract and hire talent with a desultory mindset when filling open positions without considering internal and external factors. Today’s recruiters must become more deliberate in who they hire by having a tactical plan to attract and retain the most qualified people in an unpredictable global market. Through the process of developing a conceptual framework model, this paper aims to present three strategic foresight competencies required for recruiters to match people to jobs. Also, this conceptual analysis will argue the need for recruiters to possess a strategic mindset to attract and hire the most qualified people to an organization. Furthermore, discuss the implications of recruiters who lack strategic foresight competencies. The practice of strategic foresight is now a requirement for recruiters to become cognizant of internal and external factors such as competitive behavior, technological change, political and economic conditions and human capital, which can influence their approach to matching people to jobs. Overall, when recruiters match talent based on the company’s strategic drivers rather than blindly fill open positions without a tactical plan, organizations can better achieve its performance potential.

AbstractThe rain forests of South-East Asia represent a biodiversity hotspot of terrestrial leeches, but we have only fragmentary and often anecdotal information on this component of tropical communities. To address the foraging tactics of terrestrial leeches, we studied the vertical distribution of Haemadipsa picta on foliage in a Bornean tropical rain forest. We investigated the links between leech body length and the above-ground height of their ambush positions under natural conditions and in a choice experiment performed under semi-natural conditions. We studied 167 leeches, which varied considerably with respect to body length (4–29 mm). On average, the leeches ambushed at lower heights under natural conditions than under experimental conditions (47.7 cm vs. 67.5 cm), though the heights of ambush positions overlapped considerably. Leeches that chose higher ambush positions under natural conditions consistently chose higher ambush positions in the experiment (Pearson r = 0.29). Under both natural and experimental conditions, leech body length was positively correlated with the height of ambush positions (Pearson r = 0.48); on average, a 1-mm increase in body length corresponded to a 2–3 cm higher ambush position. Our findings suggest that H. picta individuals actively choose hunting locations according to their above-ground height, shifting their ambush sites over ontogeny to higher foliage. We hypothesize that growing leeches might target different prey following ontogenetic shifts in the foraging optima, ultimately decreasing intraspecific competition.

Abstract The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of tactical behavior on physical performance of the three best Spanish soccer teams. Team 1 employed a 1-4-4-2 formation with compact defence and direct attacks, Team 2 employed an indirect style of play with a 1-4-3-3 formation and Team 3 used a 1-4-3-3 formation with elaborate attacks and strong counter-attacks. 816 individual situations of 54 professional soccer players categorized as fullbacks (FB), central defenders (CD), central midfielders (MF), wide midfielders (WM), and strikers (S) were included in the analysis. Their performance was examined with a player-tracking system. The analyzed variables included total distance covered, distance covered above 14, 21 and 24 km·h-1, as well as distance covered in possession of the ball and without possession of the ball. Team 2 covered a substantially lower distance >14 km·h–1 than Team 1 and substantially lower distances >14, >21, and >25km·h–1 than Team 3. No differences in running activity were found between Teams 1 and 3. However, there were substantial differences between the specific positions of the three teams. CD in Team 1 covered the lowest distance by a substantial margin in almost all variables analysed, whereas MF travelled substantially greater distances than did other positions. WM in Team 1 covered the greatest distance >18 and >21km·h– 1, while S in Team 2 had the lowest distance covered in almost all the variables, and FB in Team 3 showed the lowest total distance covered and distance covered >14km·h–1. WM in Team 2 had the greatest distance covered in possession, while S in Team 3 had the greatest distance covered out of possession. The results indicate that different team formations and associated tactical demands have a significant influence on running performance.

The purpose of this analysis is to examine Raytheon Technologies Corporation (RTC) in the context of its leadership structure, ethical issues and practices, stakeholder relationships, and position within the social responsibility realm. Undertaking an analysis of an aerospace and defense company such as RTC is perhaps timelier than ever. We live in a world of increasing global competition and confrontation. Simultaneously, we are experiencing unprecedented technological development. Combined, this has created a situation where the boundaries of conventional warfare have been redrawn. The questions of what appropriate offensive and defensive tactics are and how governments, and increasingly private sector companies, utilize new technology to achieve superiority do not have definitive answers. RTC is one of the largest aerospace and defense companies in the world operating in this new age. Therefore, examining RTC in terms of its leadership practices, ethical positions, and social responsibility efforts will help to illuminate how both the company and society are working through these unchartered waters.

Abstract The main objective of this study was to analyse the distance covered and the activity profile that players presented at the FIFA World Cup in 2010. Complementarily, the distance covered by each team within the same competition was analysed. For the purposes of this study 443 players were analysed, of which 35 were goalkeepers, 84 were external defenders, 77 were central defenders, 182 were midfielders, and 65 were forwards. Afterwards, a thorough analysis was performed on 16 teams that reached the group stage, 8 teams that achieved the round of 16, 4 teams that reached the quarter-finals, and 4 teams that qualified for the semi-finals and finals. A comparison of the mean distance covered per minute among the playing positions showed statistically significant differences (F(4,438) = 559.283; p < 0.001; 2 = 0.836; Power = 1.00). A comparison of the activity time among tactical positions also resulted in statistically significant differences, specifically, low activity (F(4,183.371) = 1476.844; p < 0.001; 2 = 0.742; Power = 1.00), medium activity (F(4,183.370) = 1408.106; p < 0.001; 2 = 0.731; Power = 1.00), and high activity (F(4,182.861) = 1152.508; p < 0.001; 2 = 0.703; Power = 1.00). Comparing the mean distance covered by teams, differences that are not statistically significant were observed (F(3,9.651) = 4.337; p < 0.035; 2 = 0.206; Power = 0.541). In conclusion, the tactical positions of the players and their specific tasks influence the activity profile and physical demands during a match.
