Повний текст джерелаEn los últimos años ha aumentado la presencia de la obesidad y de enfermedades asociadas a ésta. Ante este hecho, la búsqueda de remedios preventivos, así como de tratamientos para estas enfermedades, se vuelve de gran interés para la salud pública. Las hormonas intestinales secretadas por las células enteroendocrinas juegan un papel en la regulación de la ingesta y la homeostasis de la glucosa. En este contexto, la investigación de esta tesis doctoral se ha centrado en la acción de los compuestos naturales bioactivos sobre el sistema enteroendocrino. En estudios previos, nuestro grupo de investigación observó que un extracto de proantocianidinas de hueso de uva (GSPE) aumentaba los niveles plasmáticos de GLP-1 en ratas. En esta tesis doctoral se ha descubierto que este aumento podría ser explicado en parte por la acción directa del GSPE sobre las células enteroendocrinas. Por otro lado, se ha demostrado que la acción directa del GSPE también modula la secreción de GIP y PYY, así como una reducción de la secreción de CCK. Los resultados obtenidos en el cultivo de organoides han demostrado que el GSPE aumenta los principales marcadores de las células L y modula los factores de transcripción involucrados en la diferenciación de éstas. Consecuentemente, estos resultados señalan que promover la diferenciación de las células L es un mecanismo de acción del GSPE en tratamientos prolongados. Por otro lado, la investigación realizada en tratamientos subcrónicos ha revelado que el GSPE modifica la composición de la microbiota intestinal y que el perfil microbiano correlaciona con los parámetros metabólicos del huésped, del cual destaca la correlación con los niveles plasmáticos aumentados de la hormona GLP-1 activa. Además, se ha encontrado una nueva fuente de compuestos naturales bioactivos, el hidrolizado de pata de pollo, el cual se ha demostrado que actúa como un agente antihiperglicémico en ratas que presentan una homeóstasis de la glucosa alterada, debido a la capacidad de inhibir la actividad de DPP-IV y de aumentar la secreción endógena de GLP-1. En conclusión, los resultados obtenidos en esta tesis doctoral muestran que los compuestos naturales bioactivos actúan en el sistema endocrino, con lo cual éstos podrían ser unos agentes terapéuticos adecuados para el tratamiento de la obesidad y diabetes.
In the last decade, there has been an increasing prevalence of obesity and metabolic-associated diseases. In view of this fact, finding preventive therapies, as well as treatments for these diseases is of great interest for public health. Gut hormones secreted from enteroendocrine cells (EECs) play a key role in the regulation of food intake and glucose homeostasis. In this context, the research of this thesis has focused on the role of natural bioactive compounds on the enteroendocrine system. Our research group reported in previous studies that grape seed proanthocyanidin extract (GSPE) increased GLP-1 plasma levels in rats. In this thesis, we elucidated that such increase might be in part explained by the direct action of GSPE on enteroendocrine cells. Moreover, we demonstrate that GSPE also modulates the secretion of the main gut hormones by directly acting on EECs, inducing an increase of GIP and PYY release, while reducing CCK release. The results obtained in this thesis using organoids culture demonstrated that GSPE up-regulate the main markers of L-cell and modulate transcription factors involved in L-cell differentiation, and thereby point out that the promotion of L-cell differentiation is a mechanism by which GSPE act in prolonged treatments. Moreover, our findings in mid-term treatments revealed that gut microbiota composition is modulated by GSPE and such microbial composition profile correlates with host metabolic parameters, and remarkably with increased active GLP-1 plasma levels. Furthermore, we found a new source of natural bioactive compounds, chicken leg hydrolyzate, and demonstrated that it acts as antihyperglycemic agent in disrupted-glucose homeostasis animals due to the capacity of inhibiting DPP-IV activity and enhancing endogenous GLP-1 release . In conclusion, the findings obtained in this thesis show that natural bioactive compounds act through different mechanisms on the enteroendocrine system, and thereby could be good therapeutic agents to treat obesity and glucose homeostasis disruption.

Повний текст джерелаAn efficient management of the natural gas business chain, based on pipeline transmission network and taking into consideration the interaction between the main players such as Shippers, Suppliers, Transmission Companies and Local Distribution Companies, requires the use of information technology and decision-making support systems. This work presents a Natural Gas Logistic Transportation Management System, composed of integrated modules or subsystems that allow maximizing natural gas commercialization and allow mitigating revenue losses and contractual penalties due to contingencies that may cause failures in gas delivery to Local Distribution Companies. The proposed system also allow evaluating the optimum economic level of availability to be maintained by the Transmission Company by using stand-by equipment to mitigate its risk exposures to revenue losses and contractual penalties from the agents of the natural gas chain. The proposed system is based on Monte Carlo simulation of equipment failures of the gas transmission network, on the supply/delivery unexpected shortfalls, unexpected block valves closing and failures on the city-gates in order to quantify their impact on the natural gas business chain. The proposed system is made of (i) a geographic information system - GIS, (ii) a pipeline data model (Arc Pipeline Data Model - APDM), (iii) a gas pipeline thermo-hydraulic simulation for steady and transient states - Pipeline Studio 3.0, (iv) a data base of thermohydraulic simulation results and (v) a Monte Carlo simulation model to evaluate the reliability of the transmission system by using @Risk 4.5 and (vi) an economic model with Monte Carlo simulation using @Risk 4.5 and (vii) an optimizer, based on linear programming, for gas commercialization maximization and minimization of revenue losses and contractual penalties for not delivering the gas volumes at the contracted level. This work has identified, quantified and proved feasible the installation of stand-by compressor units at the Bolivia-Brail Gas Pipeline compressor stations and therefore improved the transmission system availability. As a direct benefit has reduced the Transmission Company risk exposure to revenue losses and contractual penalties due to reduction of pipeline transmission capacity as consequence of compressor units scheduled and nonscheduled outages. Failures of pipeline block valves and city-gates have also been identified and quantified but redundancy improvements were not required.

Sunlight is one of the important elements for creatures' survival and growth. Due to the change of lifestyle, people spend about 90 \% of time staying in buildings. In this situation, the artificial indoor illumination gradually replaces the sunlight in human beings' life. This condition may lead to exhaustion, osteoporosis, depression, inability of concentration, and other symptoms if people cannot be exposed to enough sunlight. To solve this problem, this dissertation proposes an Intelligent Natural Light Illumination System. This illumination system can take people's health and environmental protection into account. This system can divide into four parts: Light Collecting, Light Transmitting, Light Emitting, and Auxiliary Lighting. When the sunlight is enough, the lighting system can guide the sunlight into the building for lighting applications. The auxiliary lighting subsystem would control the LED to satisfy the users' demand when the brightness of the environment could not achieve the desired results. After that, it can let the sunlight indoors and improve the quality of human's life at the same time.

Throught data compression of HDTV technology has been perfectly developed recently,yet an effective solution to image conversion is still not deviced. In the past, the so-called linear interpolation by filter device was often utilized. Since the the cost of memory device is dropped, the digital signal processing has been in leading place of all conversion techniques. For the image-size conversion, the popular skills are Zero order and Bilinear methods. Because they tends to increase high frequency error in conversion, therefore distortion follows. The theme of this thesis is to derive a Super Pulse Code Modulation for Vedio Singal (the VSPCM method). By this method, a large portion of additive high frequency errors can be reduced. The main part of VSPCM method is called natural zooming system. First , any 2-D image singal must be mapped to a series data.Later, each three pixels can be assumed as to be an Abstract region with convex shape. After that, each of this region will be abstracted to generate a vector parameter. According to a vector's parameter, the analog singal can be regenerated by the regenerator. And finally,a piece of smooth zooming image can be created by resampling. In the future, It could be perfectly made by connecting with different TV singal systems when this result is transplanted on VLSI chips.Therefore it is very flexible to communiate with various TV standards.The barrier of standardization will be no longer existed.

In recent years, global climate becomes abnormally, there are many major natural disaster events occur every year. Because of the geographical position, Taiwan has been threatened by natural disaster for a long time. The victims are often on the dramatic increase after the large-scale disaster events happened, causing the large number of victim live residential instability. Therefore, the demand of shelter will keep increasing. In order to simplify the complicated relief mission and effectively integrate the information of disaster, building information management platform of relief is necessary. Moreover, there are numerous disaster management platforms in existence and they solve the most of disasters and humanitarian issues. After analyze the regulations that drafted by the government, the research discovers the existing platform is still inadequate for the shelter. Therefore, the paper collected the opening process of shelters that drafted by the government, and integrate the main works. By using Use Case to describe the interaction between the system and the user. Then using Unified Modeling Language to present the system design, the design results will be used as the basis for system implementation. Developer will be able to understand the operating procedures of shelters through the blueprints design. So, the system platform will comply with government laws and regulations.
