Анотація:
Private forest partnership has been considered as a new strategy in dealing with conventional socio-economic model problem of the industrial wood raw material sustainability supply. As a new strategy to address the issue of sustainability of industrial wood supply, synergy is needed between forest farmer groups and timber-based industry through private forest partnership schemes. This research aims to analyze private forest partnership policy and its implementation in terms of cooperation aspects in order to formulate a sustainable private forest partnership policy. Content analysis was used to identify all policies related to private forestry partnerships, while policy implementation was analyzed by using formal evaluation method. The descriptive method was implemented to analyze standing stock managemet, and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) as a method to formulate the concept of sustainable private forest partnership policy. The results showed that private forest partnership policy now is more focused on production facilities and infrastructure aspect. The level of policy implementation in research location is at a low grade, only reached 16.28%, while 43.75% of the private forest partnerships in the research area are not sustainable due to low potential of standing stock. This research proved that fostering the farmers is a key factor to develop sustainable private forest partnership policy.

The goal of my research is a sustainable development that is perfectly designed and defined as an idea, but in its implementation we encounter difficulties, depending on the demographic picture of the country, political organization, cultural differences, etc. However, in order for sustainable development to take place on the "right path" in all segments of our society, we need a strategy, but even if it were, the question arises: "In a world that relies on money as the main indicator of everything, Sustainable development or the natural resources that we need to leave to future generations have any chance of existence ? " In this sense, sustainable development is a harmonious relationship of environmental protection, economics and social development in order to preserve the resources of our planets for future growth. This is the general direction to create a better world for future generations by trying to balance the social, economic and environmental factors of the environment. The application of this concept varies depending on the branch in which the company is located, from the characteristics of the complete national environment in which the company operates. Because the economies of each country have emerged as a result of different historical and socio-economic factors, the institutional framework is different from country to country in the European Union.

AbstractU.S. agriculture, which has developed in a mixed environment of private initiative and government support, is very successful by many measures. American farmers produce record levels of food and fiber per farm worker at very low budgetary cost to consumers. Recently, however, concern about resource depletion and agrichemical pollution has caused critics to question the environmental sustainability of the agricultural production system. Furthermore, pressures to trim the growing contribution of agricultural subsidies to the national budget deficit have led legislators and others to question the sustainability of the federal farm programs. Low agrichemical input or sustainable agricultural practices, such as nitrogen-fixing legumes in rotation with cereals, could reduce environmental damage. The selectivity and structure of historical farm programs, however, have economically favored conventional systems. Farm programs subsidize only about half the total value of agricultural products. Feed and food grains, cotton, and dairy products receive the lion's share of payments. Soil-building crops like forage legumes, most edible legumes, hay, and pasture are excluded. Secondly, the structure of commodity programs favors intensive production of program crops supported by high fertilizer and pesticide applications. This incentive emanates from the policy of computing the farm-wide deficiency payment for a program crop proportionately to the farm's historical “base” acreage and “established” yield for the crop. The leading farm program crops of corn, wheat, cotton, and soybeans occupied slightly over 60 percent of cropped acres and received at least 65 percent of all U.S. agricultural pesticides and fertilizer in the mid 19809s. Despite budget pressures and environmental concerns, near term termination of farm programs or decoupling them from production of particular commodities is unlikely. Fears about aggravating financial stress, reducing land values, and harming agrichemical supply businesses in program crop-growing regions will promote cautious incremental change. Recent promising signs of “creeping decoupling” include the 1986 freeze on established yields, the gradual reduction in target prices, the permitting of multi-year grass or legume plantings as set aside acreage, and the loosening of base acreage restrictions within the 1988 Drought Relief Bill.

After nearly three decades of development, sustainable tourism has been widely recognized in tourism policy practice and tourism research. In recent years, scholars have paid more and more attention to the topic of sustainable tourism policy research. The purpose of this paper is to analyze its development process and extract its research subject framework for reference in future research. This paper uses the systematic review method and the literature co-citation network analysis to classify the theme of sustainable tourism policy research into six categories, including: Sustainable tourism policy stakeholders, sustainable tourism policy implementation, sustainable tourism and climate policy, sustainable tourism indicators and planning, sustainable concepts in tourism policy, and the role of sustainable tourism policy. The development and implementation of sustainable tourism policies are an effective response to global environmental and sustainable development challenges. However, the current sustainable tourism policy is often economic-growth oriented, which has theoretical differences with sustainable development. At the same time, the research focus of scholars is on the impact of policies on the sustainable development of tourism, while the research on the formation process of policies and governance behaviors in the sustainable development of tourism is not enough.

The research deals with the conceptual framework of innovation policy coherence for sustainable development. Authors prove that for the development of the national system, «sustainable development – security» should be considered innovation policy as a set of management tools for targeted implementation of innovations that will promote sustainable development. As a result of understanding the importance of SDGs, a scientific and practical approach to policy coherence for sustainable development (PCSD) is considered. Given the importance of innovation development and the national characteristics of the relationship between it and the SDGs, it is advisable to consider the methodology of coherence of innovation policy for sustainable development (innovation policy coherence for sustainable development, IPCSD). The context of innovation policy coherence for sustainable development based on ideas of theorists of economic science, innovation and strategic management is presented. It is proposed to implement the conceptual provisions of innovation policy coherence for sustainable development on the basis of adapted principles of sustainable development and principles of the relationship «sustainable development – security».

At Indonesia of East Java Province has great tourism potential with a development based on tourism that can provide economic growth to East Java province. In trying to maintain the existence of developing tourism and government of transportation policy through various tourist destinations and new infrastructure completeness. With the rapid development of tourism, making tourism sub-sector contributes greatly to the local income government. So, the purpose of this research is to identify the result of the analysis of tourism policy and transportation policy. In this study, The research would like to discuss how big the role of transportation in supporting tourism activities and increasing the growth of tourism in East Java along with the opportunities, supporting factors, and obstacles in increasing the growth of tourism. In the identification, it is found that transportation plays a big role in the growth of tourism that also affects the economic growth of the surrounding communities and the area so that poverty declines. The method used in this study is a descriptive statistical analysis by considering qualitative aspects as quantitative descriptors of the data obtained.

One of the most important measures to be taken for the development of sustainable economy in Latvia is to implement an effective fiscal policy. It means a complex and well timed use of fiscal instruments to regulate economy. Evaluating the proposals of the government and the measures taken for the stabilization of economy we can make the conclusion that they have not always been effective and economically justified. Several rearrangements in the field of planning taxes and budget have been late. The aim of the article is on the basis of the theoretical viewpoints, to undertake a critical assessment of the fiscal measures taken by the government of Latvia and to make recommendations for the improvement of the effectiveness of the fiscal policy in Latvia.

This article proposes an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model to predict neonatal and juvenile bull shark habitat usage in the Sabine Pass, located within the Gulf of Mexico between Louisiana and Texas. Given continuing discussion regarding overfishing of all shark species, including bull sharks, in the northwestern Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico, the research objective was to analyze environmental data proven to be conducive to bull shark early life stages and to use these data in an ANN to predict bull shark presence during late spring and throughout summer months at designated sampling sites. The results of this analysis can both aid decision making in a fisheries context and inform the discussion on bull shark habitat usage in general, thereby contributing to the discussion of whether or not the need exists for conservation efforts to ensure sustainability of the species as part of an effective bull shark management plan.

Proenvironmental behaviour change remains a high priority for many governments and agencies and there are now numerous programmes aimed at encouraging citizens to adopt sustainable forms of living. However, although programmes for addressing behaviour change in and around the home are well developed, there has been significantly less attention paid to activities beyond this site of practice. This is despite the environmental implications of consumption choices for leisure, tourism, and work-related activities. Through focusing on sites of practice as a key framing device, this paper uses data from a series of in-depth interviews to identify three major challenges for academics and practitioners concerned with understanding and promoting more environmentally responsible behaviour. First, attention must shift beyond the home as a site of environmental practice to consider the ways in which individuals respond to exhortations towards ‘greener’ lifestyles in other high-consumption and carbon-intensive settings, Second, in broadening the scope of environmental practice, policy makers need to revisit their reliance on segmentation models and related social marketing approaches. This is in the light of data that suggest those with strong environmental commitments in the home are often reluctant to engage in similar commitments in other sites of practice. Third, researchers and policy makers therefore need to move beyond the traditional ‘siting’ of environmental practice towards a spatially sophisticated conceptualisation that accounts for the multiple settings of consumption through mapping the relationships that exist between sites of practice.
