We study the structure of superselection sectors of an arbitrary perturbation of a conformal field theory. We describe how a restriction of the q-deformed sl(2) affine Lie algebra symmetry of the sine-Gordon theory can be used to derive the S-matrices of the Φ(1,3) perturbations of the minimal unitary series. This analysis provides an identification of fields which create the massive kink spectrum. We investigate the ultraviolet limit of the restricted sine-Gordon model, and explain the relation between the restriction and the Fock space cohomology of minimal models. We also comment on the structure of degenerate vacuum states. Deformed Serre relations are proven for arbitrary affine Toda theories, and it is shown in certain cases how relations of the Serre type become fractional spin supersymmetry relations upon restriction.

The N=2 fermionic extensions of the KdV equations are derived from the zero curvature condition associated with the graded Lie algebra of OSp(2/2). These equations lead to two bi-Hamiltonian systems, one of which is supersymmetric. We also derive the one-parameter family of N=2 supersymmetric KdV equations without a bi-Hamiltonian structure in this approach. Following our earlier proposal, we interpret the zero curvature condition as a gauge anomaly equation which brings out the underlying current algebra for the corresponding 2D supergravity theory. This current algebra is then used to obtain the operator product expansions of various fields of this theory.

We show how the supersymmetric KdV equation can be obtained from the self-duality condition on Yang-Mills fields in four dimensions associated with the graded Lie algebra OSp(2/1). We also obtain the hierarchy of SUSY KdV equations as well as the s-KdV equations from such a condition. We formulate the SUSY KdV hierarchy as a vanishing curvature condition associated with the U(1) group and show how an Abelian self-duality condition in four dimensions can also lead to these equations.

Abstract We discuss a general methodology to provide rigid, off-shell matter multiplets and actions for recently constructed non-relativistic superalgebras. The technique is based on the Lie algebra expansion, which, in the context of supersymmetry, has so far been used to obtain non-relativistic on-shell supergravity models. We first explain how the Lie algebra expansion can be implemented to generate off-shell rigid multiplets on a flat background by developing an auxiliary framework where only the lowest order behavior of the spatial and temporal vielbein is relevant. We then provide explicit examples for the field content, the transformation rules as well as action principles for certain multiplets in three and four dimensions.

In [S. Benayadi, F. Mhamdi and S. Omri, Quadratic (resp. symmetric) Leibniz superalgebras, Commun. Algebra, https://doi.org/10.1080/00927872.2020.1850751 ], the quadratic Leibniz superalgebras, which are (left or right) Leibniz superalgebras provided with even supersymmetric non-degenerate and associative bilinear forms, were investigated. Besides the notion of associativity, there are other kinds of invariance for bilinear forms on Leibniz superalgebras, namely the left invariance and the right invariance. In this paper, we investigate the Leibniz superalgebras endowed with even, supersymmetric, non-degenerate and left invariant bilinear forms and highlight the links between these superalgebras and some other algebraic structures. More precisely, every symmetric Leibniz superalgebra provided with such a bilinear form gives rise to a new type of superalgebra which we call LS-Lie superalgebra. We study LS-Lie superalgebras and we give some interesting informations on the structure of these superalgebras by using certain extensions introduced in [S. Benayadi and F. Mhamdi, Odd-quadratic Leibniz superalgebras, Adv. Pure Appl. Math. 10(4) (2019) 287–298; S. Benayadi, F. Mhamdi and S. Omri, Quadratic (resp. symmetric) Leibniz superalgebras, Commun. Algebra, https://doi.org/10.1080/00927872.2020.1850751 ]. Further, several nontrivial examples of LS-Lie superalgebras are included. Finally, we give similar results for Leibniz superalgebras with right invariant bilinear forms.

Abstract In this work we present an alternative method to construct diverse non-relativistic Chern-Simons supergravity theories in three spacetime dimensions. To this end, we apply the Lie algebra expansion method based on semigroups to a supersymmetric extension of the Nappi-Witten algebra. Two different families of non-relativistic superalgebras are obtained, corresponding to generalizations of the extended Bargmann superalgebra and extended Newton-Hooke superalgebra, respectively. The expansion method considered here allows to obtain known and new non-relativistic supergravity models in a systematic way. In particular, it immediately provides an invariant tensor for the expanded superalgebra, which is essential to construct the corresponding Chern-Simons supergravity action. We show that the extended Bargmann supergravity and its Maxwellian generalization appear as particular subcases of a generalized extended Bargmann supergravity theory. In addition, we demonstrate that the generalized extended Bargmann and generalized extended Newton-Hooke supergravity families are related through a contraction process.

AbstractA form of time series path integral expansion is provided that enables both analytic and numerical temporal effect calculations for a range of stochastic processes. All methods rely on finding a suitable reproducing kernel associated with an underlying representative algebra to perform the expansion. Birth–death processes can be analysed with these techniques, using either standard Doi-Peliti coherent states, or the $${\mathfrak {s}}{\mathfrak {u}}(1,1)$$ s u ( 1 , 1 ) Lie algebra. These result in simplest expansions for processes with linear or quadratic rates, respectively. The techniques are also adapted to diffusion processes. The resulting series differ from those found in standard Dyson time series field theory techniques.
