Web services have become quintessential in web application development. RESTful web services are one way of providing interoperability between computer systems on the internet. REST-compliant web services allow requesting systems to access and manipulate textual representations of web resources using a uniform and predefined set of stateless operations. These services, which are online APIs, can be accessed from various applications and the results can be used to offer specific functionality to users. This project consists of an Android app, a Server application and a Client application. The Server application exposes a REST API (Web Services developed using REpresentational State Transfer (REST) protocol) using, which the consuming client applications can make use of various functionalities as services across the network. The Android app would be installed in the smart phone present in each vehicle of the fleet, this app would send live location data to the database using the REST API. The manager uses the client application to track the vehicles in real time, the manager can also choose to track a particular vehicle. The API could also be used to integrate the services with other systems. This project serves to a wide variety of users, from small local businesses owning tens or hundreds of vehicle to parents who would like to track the location of their children in real time. This project aims to help the managers/owners better control and track the vehicles. Also, the exposed API could be used by other developers to customize or extend this application. This project is easy to install, use and hence friendly for users with even minimal computer skills.

In the field of software engineering, the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture was a great breakthrough that was introduced in the 1970s. It is an architectural pattern that is useful for structuring software applications. MVC divides an application into three components: 1) Model, 2) View, and 3) Controller. This separation provides great modularity, which results in ease of maintenance for systems employing this architecture. A software framework is a collection of modules and connectors that embody a given software architecture. In the spirit of software reuse, the Spring Framework has been integrated for implementing the MVC architecture.
In this document, a Web Application is presented that demonstrates the features and characteristics of the MVC architecture and Spring Framework. All the development technologies that are used in the Web-application will be discussed along with the Object-Oriented-Analysis and Design methodology.

The difficulties arise from not having proper knowledge on the organization’s objective, their work culture and current job openings. In addition, finding the right candidate with desired qualifications to fill their current job openings is an important task for the recruiters of any organization. Online Job Search Portals have certainly made job seeking convenient on both sides. Job Portal is the solution where recruiter as well as the job seeker meet aiming at fulfilling their individual requirement. They are the cheapest as well as the fastest source of communication reaching wide range of audience on just a single click irrespective of their geographical distance. The web application “Job Search Portal” provides an easy and convenient search application for the job seekers to find their desired jobs and for the recruiters to find the right candidate. Job seekers from any background can search for the current job openings. Job seekers can register with the application and update their details and skill set. They can search for available jobs and apply to their desired positions. Android, being open source has already made its mark in the mobile application development. To make things handy, the user functionalities are developed as an Android application. Employer can register with the application and posts their current openings. They can view the Job applicants and can screen them according to the best fit. Users can provide a review about an organization and share their interview experience, which can be viewed by the Employers.

Web Technologies, particularly the web application, have become an essential component of the business world in our daily life. By utilizing the web application, it is convenient for human beings to search the information, make the payment and communicate with others through Internet. However, according to a report from the Society of Digital Agencies, 77% of companies believe that poor website user experience is a weakness for their clients, which making poor user experience the most significant weakness agencies identified. As for current monolithic web application of booking course system, all the components are tightly integrated in one module so that it is difficult to maintain and make changes for both currents functions and new functions. In addition, the algorithms of some functions are vulnerable. For example, the offer code corresponding to the one course can be used for another course that should not be on sales promotion. This thesis presents a decoupling of the monolithic architecture. The monolithic architecture composes all in one piece and implement an alternative solution for booking course system based on representational state transfer web service, spring, WordPress and bootstrap frameworks. Moreover, this thesis focuses on improving the vulnerable algorithm for the old booking system. In the end, some non-functional requirement like user experience will also be taken in consideration. In this thesis, the result proves the feasibility of the decoupling monolithic architecture by exploiting RESTful web services.Webbtekniker, speciellt webbapplikationer, har blivit en viktig komponent för företags dagliga verksamhet. Genom att använda webbapplikationer blir det enkelt för människor att söka information, göra betalningar och kommunicera med andra på Internet. Men enligt en rapport från the Society of Digital Agencies upplever 77% av företagen att en dåligt webbupplevelse påverkar slutkunderna, vilket gör webbupplevelsen till den största påverkande faktorn som the Society of Digital Agencies har identifierat. Det existerande webbokningssystemet är en monolit, där samtliga komponenter är tätt integrerade i en modul. Denna integrerade arkitektur gör det svårt att underhålla och förändra systemet. I tillägg finns det sårbarheter i systemet, som till exempel att rabattkoder för en kurs kan användas även på andra kurser, som inte ska rabatteras. Uppsatsen presenterar en frikoppling av den integrerade strukturen för systemet. Den nya arkitekturen bygger på representational state transfer web services, spring, wordpress samt bootstrap ramverken. I tillägg förbättras även de sårbara algoritmerna i det existerande bokningssystemet. Slutligen inkluderas ickefunktionella krav på användarvänlighet. I den här avhandlingen visar resultatet att det är möjligt att avmontera monolitisk arkitektur genom att utnyttja RESTful webbtjänster.

This thesis is focused on a comparison of two frameworks, built on two different platforms. The first one is a PHP-based framework Nette and the second one is Spring, developed in Java. They both are popular choices of frameworks on their respective platforms. The first part of the thesis' target is to introduce the reader to elementary ideas related to frameworks - design pattern MVC. The second part describes the Nette framework, the third is devoted to Spring framework. The fourth part deals with an example application and it's realization in both Nette and Spring, and the fifth and last part compares both frameworks, evaluates them and closes the whole topic.

This project focuses on web security. Some of the most famous vulnerabilities, known troubling web applications. Has been collected and analyzed. Each vulnerability collected in this project, was exploited and secured. Demon- strations from a web application prototype, developed for this project. Brings real examples for each vulnerability, both secured, and insecured. The proto- type ran on a Tomcat web server, and was developed with frameworks such as Web, Spring and Hibernate. Connected to one PostgreSQL data source. All vulnerabilities was successfully implemented in Spring framework, and they were all exploited. Every vulnerability was also secured, with different tools and methods from earlier mentioned frameworks. As a result, real examples from the prototype is used for demonstration in the project, both in a secure and an insecure state. The result views Spring as a framework with good security potential. Most of the Spring specific vulnerabilities, are logical design flaws from developers that can be avoided. Vulnerabilities not related to Spring, such as the one collected for this project. Could be prevented by using methods from the Spring framework or intelligent programming. Which leads to conclusions. Web applications are always exposed to attacks, no matter the framework in use. Creative hackers search to discover new vul- nerabilities, and update old ones all the time. Developers has a responsibility, towards the web applications users. Web applications can not just developed for normal use, but also against possible misuse. Frameworks with good reputation and well processed models, is a good ground for developing a secure application.

Locating a parking spot during peak hours in most populated areas like shopping malls, universities, exhibitions or convention centers is difficult for the drivers. The difficulty rises from not knowing where the available spots may be at that required time. Smart parking is a solution to metropolitan cities to reduce congestion, cut vehicle emission totals and save persons' time by helping them in finding a spot to park. Smart Parking is a parking system, usually a new one that is equipped with special structured devices (things) to detect the available parking slots at any parking area. This is an application based on Internet of Things (IoT) that in Real-Time environment have sensors and devices embedded into parking spaces, transmitting data on the occupancy status; and the vehicle drivers can search for parking availability using their mobile phones or any infotainment system that is attached to the vehicle. Hence the driver would know where there is an available spot to park his vehicle in less time, reducing the energy consumption and air pollution. The Client or the sensor posts the parking slot occupancy status to a web service URL. The Java based web service is built using Spring and Hibernate to connect to the backend system. The web service (.war) file is deployed on Apache Tomcat Server and the backend used is MySQL database.

In an era of technological growth, cloud computing is one of the hottest topics on the market. This, along with the overall increased use of digital systems, requires solid integration options to be developed. Redpill Linpro recognizes this and has developed a cloud-based Integration Platform as a Service (IPaaS) solution called Connectivity Engine. New techniques like this can however seem very abstract to a customer, something which a demo application could help substantiate. To aid in this issue we have developed a web-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as well as an Integration Application to connect the ERP system with Salesforce.com in a bidirectional integration. With the use of Connectivity Engine this can be hosted in the cloud and be easily accessible. The project has been a success for Redpill Linpro as well as the authors. A solid way to demonstrate the abilities of Connectivity Engine has been developed along with descriptive documentation for any sales representative assigned to pitch the platform.

The goal of this work is to propose a method of comparison and subsequently compare several of the most used Java web application frameworks in the design pattern context. The work describes fundamental design patterns and the compared frameworks, including the patterns implemented by them. Next there is offered a form of evaluation that splits into several criteria and subcriteria, and several sets of weighs representing different scenarios of decision. Frameworks are evaluated and the evaluation is substantiated. Besides the creation of the set of criteria and analysis of individual frameworks, there was an application developed using each of the frameworks, which allowed for a better evaluation by the author. This evaluation is therefore contributive also due to the actual test of the individual frameworks.

The topic of this master's thesis is a comparison of web Rapid Application Development frameworks Ruby on Rails and Spring Roo. The paper focuses on creating extensive overview of pros and cons of the subjected tools from the web developer's point of view to enhance his awareness about the subject, also to come up with new questions for further analysis or even convince him to use one of the frameworks in the real projects. Firstly, the paper contains a theoretical overview of the common conceptions for better understanding of the following parts and then specific principles for each of the selected frameworks. Secondly, there is a practical part. On one hand it demonstrates the implementation of a reference application using both platforms to illustrate the practical distinctions. On the other hand, it also contains an overall comparison based on the defined methodology. Altogether, it should form a comprehensive comparison of the selected frameworks for web developers interested in Ruby and Java platforms.

En una aplicación desarrollada con un lenguaje orientado a objetos, conviven objetos que representan el dominio del programa y objetos que modifican el estado del dominio del programa.
En 1979 Trygve M.H. Reenskaug separó las aplicaciones en dos secciones: “thing [cosa]” y “tool [herramienta]”; la herramienta es la sección de una aplicación que con sus acciones modifica el estado de la cosa.
Ese mismo año, el propio Reenskaug terminaría por separar el concepto de herramienta en “vista” y “controlador”, desacoplando de manera efectiva el código destinado a la interfaz de usuario del utilizado para realizar acciones. De hecho dos aplicaciones pueden desarrollar exactamente las mismas acciones y tener interfaces graficas diferentes.
El concepto de “Cosa” seria refinado como “Modelo” y representa a la estructura de información que es mostrada al usuario mediante la interfaz gráfica y que es modificada por la lógica de negocios invocada por los controladores.
El concepto de Vista fue necesario porque las interfaces graficas de las aplicaciones web, mostradas a través de un navegador, ni siquiera están programadas en el mismo lenguaje que el resto del programa. Sería muy complejo seguir generando programáticamente contenidos HTML al interior del método “service” de un servlet de Java.
La especialización del concepto de vista derivo en frameworks como JSP, JSF y JSTL que están desarrolladas un nivel por encima de los servlets y en los que las vistas son codificadas como archivos XHTML en los que ciertas etiquetas son remplazadas por el valor que guardan las variables antes de ser mostradas al usuario.
Del mismo modo, los frameworks facilitan que una acción en la interface, por ejemplo presionar un botón, invoquen el método que el programador desea vía la creación de un controlador, sin tener que analizar a nivel de servlets el estado que guarda la aplicación para poder inferir la acción a ejecutar.
La gran mayoría de las aplicaciones web requieren la persistencia, a menudo en una base de datos, de la estructura de la información manejada por una aplicación. El modelo de una aplicación desarrollada con JSF ya está representado como objetos, que pueden ser almacenados y recuperados de manera transparente con el API Hibernate desarrollado por Gavin King en 2001.
Las aplicaciones desarrolladas por un gran número de desarrolladores requieren su separación en módulos y capas altamente especializadas que sean codificadas con estándares internacionales y buenas prácticas cuidando de no aumentar los tiempos de desarrollo y los costos de las aplicaciones.
Cada empresa de software puede definir una arquitectura para las aplicaciones web que desarrollará e invertir en ello tiempo y recursos, o utilizar un framework como EJB (1997),Struts (2000) o Spring Source (2008) que han sido definidos y refinados durante años por cientos de programadores alrededor del mundo y utilizados por programas que requieren los más altos estándares de calidad y seguridad.
Spring source, uno de los frameworks abordados en este trabajo, ofrece secciones pre-programadas para el acceso a la base de datos. Mensajería, seguridad, programación orientada a aspectos, etc.
Spring ofrece una estructura de aplicación web en la que el desarrollador debe llenar los espacios vacíos. Una aplicación web desarrollada con el framework Spring obtiene de facto sus cualidades de seguridad y calidad.
Más importante aún, Spring es un framework de inyección de dependencias, esto es útil cuando se unen los módulos, capas y aspectos que componen una aplicación empresarial
Este trabajo aborda la integración de Hibernate y Spring en una aplicación web desarrollada con tecnología Java Server Faces con el objetivo de servir de referencia a estudiantes y programadores facilitando su integración a un equipo de trabajo. Las interfaces de JSF son implementadas con Primefaces. Se utiliza el IDE eclipse y el servidor de aplicaciones Tomcat.

Tato diplomová práce popisuje testování REST API rozhraní aplikací. Výsledkem práce je aplikace Restty, založená na použití nástroje Swagger, která umožňuje testovat jednotlivé části API aplikací, i vytvářet a spouštět komplexní testovací scénáře nad daným rozhraním. Teoretická část práce vysvětluje principy webových služeb, vzdálených rozhraní a představuje nástroj Swagger i technologie použité k implementaci. V následující kapitole jsou v práci prezentovány designové návrhy aplikace, na které plynule navazuje kapitola o implementaci a testování, pro které je zvoleno rozhraní nástroje Red Hat JBoss BPM Suite. V závěru práce jsou vyhodnoceny přínosy aplikace Restty a navrženy případné budoucí rozšíření.

Cette thèse a pour objet l’analyse des processus organisationnels liés à la communication web des entreprises et de leur influence sur la construction de leur identité numérique. Nous nous sommes intéressée au secteur du tourisme dans les Hautes-Pyrénées, et plus spécifiquement, aux centres thermoludiques, qui ont, au cours des quinze dernières années, redessiné le paysage économique et social des vallées de montagne. L’évolution du web dans ces entreprises a influencé leur organisation au point de faire émerger des stratégies d’investissement du web parallèles aux préconisations des agences web et de communication. Les objectifs de cette recherche se sont concentrés sur les stratégies officielles et non officielles d’investissement du web des entreprises observées. Ce questionnement lié aux stratégies nous a menée vers l’analyse du réseau d’acteurs dans lequel les entreprises observées sont impliquées, et dont les intérêts ou thématiques communicationnelles convergent. Nous avons ainsi procédé à la mise en relation de l’ensemble des discours produits sur et à propos du web par les centres thermoludiques et les acteurs de leur environnement institutionnel et concurrentiel. Notre méthodologie s’articule entre analyses sémiotiques des sites web des centres thermoludiques, entretiens semi-directifs menés avec les concepteurs-réalisateurs de ces sites web, et observations de terrain en situation professionnelle dans le secteur du tourisme de montagne. Nos résultats nous ont amenée à la constitution d’une méthodologie d’analyse de la présence et de l’identité des entreprises sur le web à l’heure du 2.0 en tenant compte du réseau d’acteurs humains et non humains dans lequel elles se situentThis PhD thesis aims at analysing the organisational procedures used when companies communicate via the web, and their influence on the building up of their digital identity. We focused on tourism in Hautes-Pyrénées, and more specifically on hot spring resorts (spa or recreational and wellness centres). These resorts have changed the economic and social aspects of life in these valleys, which are located in the mountain range of the Pyrenees. The evolution of the web usage in these companies has so much influenced their organisation that investment strategies have emerged, following the recommendations of web and communication agencies. This research work focused on official and non-official web investment strategies of some of these companies. This questioning on the strategies leads to the analysis of the broader network of stakeholders in which these companies are involved, with similar focuses and interests. Therefore, we studied the connections between all the data collected (speeches) from these companies and their institutional and competing environment, on and about the web. Our methodology included semiotic analysis, semi-structured interviews conducted with the web and communication agencies, the CEOs of hot spring resorts, and field observations in a professional context in the field of mountain tourism. Our results have led to the design of a methodology to analyse the presence and identity of companies on the web, taking into account the network of human and material stakeholders in which they are involved in our web 2.0 world

The subject of this thesis is the topic of the resilience and stability of web applications with a focus on the Java platform. Many existing information systems based not only upon this platform face problems that disturb the stability of applications. These problems may result in the failure, downtime and, consequently, financial or business loss due to the malfunction of the whole service. The aim is to show the problems that the applications face in a production environment and to show how to address them proactively. A possible partial solution to increase the stability may be an appropriate configuration of JVM (Java Virtual Machine), an analysis and corrections of detected errors, or a technique called Sandboxing to increase the stability, which this thesis deals with. Using this technique, it is possible to divide the application into separate parts that cannot influence each other. This prevents the propagation of errors among the parts of the application and thereby increases the stability of the entire application. The target applications include the Java applications made with the help of Spring framework. The Sanboxing technique can be implemented into the applications built this way by means of suitable configuration, which ensures that the application run will be divided into specified parts that will be automatically tested and possibly restarted. The application then recovers itself in the affected areas without a complete failure. The project is called Java Capsules.

Involved methods, practices and technologies were described. These goals were achieved using analytical methods and executive skills. In addition to development of web service itself, most important contributions of this thesis include supplying an in-depth study of web service design and development structured as a step-by-step tutorial.

The Arab spring has been called a social media revolution and social media have been given large importance and significant space in both academic discussions and analysis in the media. The main focus of this study was to examine whether social media have impacted the news reporting of the conflicts. A sample of articles from four different newspapers was examined, taken randomly from all relevant articles published on the newspapers websites between December 2010 and December 2013. A part of that sample was checked for news agency cable reliance and the entire sample were checked for material from social media. Three newspapers were found to rely heavily on news agency material. The New York Times was the exception, having only 4 percent of articles being based on news agency material. Social media material and quotes were found and were used in the report-ing in different ways, but only in 4 percent of articles. It was mainly used as a way to get protester commentary. Two of the included newspapers were China Daily and the New York Times. The differences between the respective reporting in these newspapers were also examined in yet an-other subsample consisting of 100 articles from each newspaper. Several differences be-tween the reporting were found, with China Daily for example presenting a framing more in favour of the government of Syria than the New York Times.

The aim of this thesis is the analysis of selected frameworks for the development of modern web applications on the Java platform focusing on the front-end. The work is complemented by well-chosen source code examples that help the reader to create one's own view of the frameworks and it can also server as a tutorial. Introductory section focuses on the trends of modern web applications, especially on the front-end. It affects themes such as support for mobile devices, AJAX or responsive design of user interface. There are also introduced the latest technology on the front-end including HTML5, CSS3, jQuery library and dynamic language LESS whose main objective is the simplification, shortening and making cascading style sheets more dynamic. The output of this section: General LESS template is freely available and it can be applied to emerging projects. For the analysis there has been created static registration form on which there are applied frameworks Apache Wicket and Spring MVC with template engine Freemarker. In terms of analysis were chosen following points: the basic structure of the project, the application of static templates, external JavaScript / jQuery library, internalization, application of the form, submitting the form and validation of the input fields. The points were discussed in detail, especially in terms of implementation of both analysed frameworks. The outputs of the analysis are freely available structures of the projects and both of the resulting applications.

While this information supported the development of the project, the project focused on the web authoring. The primary activities included site content development, site organization, research, writing of text, graphic development, page design, and HTML code writing. In addition, the project secured website storage space and dial-up access for the Commission. Використовуючи сучасне рішення для WebGL Verge3D можна досягти економії місця на сервері
завдяки можливості зберігання об’єктів в хмарному сховищі та легко інтегрувати у веб додаток.
Обраний метод створення веб-додатку. Після аналізу сучасних фреймворків для створення
веб сервісів для реалізації віртуального музею було обрано Spring Framework в тому числі Spring
MVC, Spring Data JDBC, Spring Security.
Поєднано вибрані методи рішення в одну інформаційну технологію. Створено технологію
роботи інформаційної системи. Розробленні схеми та діаграми для веб додатку.
Було розроблене програмне забезпечення для функціонування віртуального музею, а
також протестована розроблена інформаційна система.

Kommunikation är en grundpelare för alla verksamheter och företag där möten är ett av de primära sätten för att samtala och fatta gemensamma beslut. Problemet som kan uppstå i samband med att en bokning av ett möte ska utföras är att försöka finna en tid då alla önskade mötesdeltagare kan delta vilket kan vara en tröttsam och tidskrävande process om många deltagare ska ingå i mötet. Detta är ett bekymmer som uppstår hos IT-företaget Easit som fokuserar på mjukvarulösningar åt företag och myndigheter. Arbetet syftar till att undersöka de anställdas uppfattning kring mötesbokningar, vilka verktyg de använder i dagsläget för att boka möten och slutligen formulera och implementera en byggsten i form av en målfunktion för att förhindra de problem som beskrivs i undersökningen. Konstruktionen sker i form av en webbapplikation skapat med främst programmeringsspråket Java men också olika ramverk och verktyg för att förenkla processen i att uppnå en dynamisk applikation. Applikationen upprättar koppling till Microsoft Outlooks API där data sedan extraheras från kalendrar baserat på delvis modifierad data från en anställds schema på företaget. Målfunktionen tillämpas på den data som extraherats för villkor som användaren fyllt i, på det vis beräkna ett slags betyg för potentiella mötesbokningar. Målfunktionen som är en optimerad algoritm jämförs med en greedy-algoritm för att presentera den optimerade algoritmens potential för problembeskrivningen. Den fortsatta utvecklingen utförs genom att formulera bivillkor vars syfte är att bredda den optimerade algoritmens flexibilitet och djup. Resultatet för arbetet är en grund för optimering av scheman med potential för fortsatt utveckling.Communication is a foundation pillar for all businesses and companies where meetings is one of the primary ways to converse and take collective decisions. The problem which can arise in the procedure of booking a meeting is trying to find a suitable time for every desired participant which could be a tedious and time-consuming task if many participants are to be included in the meeting. This is an issue that has risen at an IT company named Easit which focuses on software solutions for other companies and authorities. The aim of the project is to investigate the employees opinion of this issue, the tools they use today for the process of booking a meeting and finally formulate and implement a building block in the form of a target function which will be used to prevent the problems that are stated in the investigation. The construction is to be performed in the form of a web application created with the programming language Java together with different frameworks and tools to simplify the process of achieving a dynamic application. The application establishes a connection to the Microsoft Outlook API which will then be used to extract data from different calendars based of partly modified data from an employee’s schedule. The target function will be applied to the data extracted dependent on the conditions stated by the user and based on that; a kind of grade will be applied to every possible meeting time found. The target function which is an optimized algorithm is compared to a greedy-algorithm to present the optimized functions potential for the problem specified. If future work is to be done on the project, the main focus should lie on formulating additional constraints and parameters which can widen the optimized algorithm flexibility and depth. The result for this project is a foundation for optimizing schedules depending on multiple calendars together with potential for future work.

In this thesis, experiments and simulations are performed to study the deployment dynamics of space webs and space booms, focusing on the deployment and stabilization phases of the space web and the behavior of the bi-stable tape spring booms after long-term stowage. The space web, Suaineadh, was launched onboard the sounding rocket REXUS-12 from the Swedish launch base Esrange in Kiruna on 19 March 2012. It served as a technology demonstrator for a space web. A reaction wheel was used to actively control the deployment and stabilization states of the 2×2 m2 space web. After ejection from the rocket, the web was deployed but entanglements occurred since the web did not start to deploy at the specified angular velocity. The deployment dynamics was reconstructed by simulations from the information recorded by inertial measurement units and cameras. Simulations show that if the web would have started to deploy at the specified angular velocity, the web would most likely have been deployed and stabilized in space by the motor, reaction wheel and controller used in the experiment. A modified control method was developed to stabilize the out-of-plane motions before or during deployment. New web arms with tape springs were proposed to avoid entanglements. A deployable booms assembly composed of four 1-m long bi-stable glass fiber tape springs was designed for the electromagnetically clean 3U CubeSat Small Explorer for Advanced Missions (SEAM). The deployment dynamics and reliability of the SEAM boom design after long-term stowage were tested by on-ground experiments. A simple analytical model was developed to predict the deployment dynamics and to assess the effects of the GOLS and the combined effects of friction, viscoelastic strain energy relaxation, and other factors that act to decrease the deployment force. In order to mitigate the viscoelastic effects and thus ensure self-deployment, different tape springs were designed, manufactured and tested. A numerical model was used to assess the long-term stowage effects on the deployment capability of bi-stable tape springs including the friction, nonlinear-elastic and viscoelastic effects. A finite element method was used to model a meter-class fully coiled bi-stable tape spring boom and verified by analytical models.QC 20170508

Notre recherche a été établie dans le cadre du programme de recherché interdisciplinaire Langages, Objets, Territoires et Hospitalités (LOTH). Elle s’est appliquée à confirmer que seuls, les réseaux sociaux ne peuvent constituer un support unique pour gérer la démocratie locale et satisfaire les revendications collectives. Le chercheur a proposé une démarche plutôt mixte (CiRM) intégrant toutes les composantes essentielles pour moderniser et mettre à niveau de manière fondamentale le fonctionnement « client » de l’État (Physiques, humaines, virtuelles et technologiques). Cette démarche a été argumentée par une série d’enquête terrain qui démontrera le déficit dont souffre l’État marocain malgré les investissements technologiques élevés (réalisés mais désordonnés) en TIC. Ce sont à ces questions quecette thèse apporte des éléments de réponse et des outils d’analyse en vue de présenter une nouvelle manière pour instaurer la Gouvernance : tout gouvernement élu, sera essentiellement évalué sur le taux de satisfaction des attentes des citoyens et par rapport à son plan d’action annoncé via une logique de pondération et à travers des « indicateurs » de performance (gouvernementale) connus par tous et identifiés à l’avance (Pour éviter de tomber dans le piège de la distorsion de l’information entre le Citoyen et l’État)Our research was established as part of the Interdisciplinary Research Program on Languages, Objects, Territories and Hospitality (LOTH). It has tried to confirm that only social networks can not constitute a single support for managing local democracy and satisfying collective demands. This thesis focuses on two early and middle Ming (1368-1580) artists and deals with the role of Chinese historiography in the perpetuation of the dichotomy between the so-called "professional" and the so-called "scholar-amateur" artist. While traditional Chinese historical and biographical sources are an invaluable tool for the sinologist, including the Chinese art historian, the convention adopted by Chinese historians of casting subjects into standard characterized roles has contributed to this dichotomy and resulted in the ongoing debate over the value of the professional artist in China. Historically, Chinese critics and collectors have made a distinction between professional and amateur artists. The traditional Chinese critical bias has been in favour of the scholar-amateur artist. In fact, in much critical literature there is a stigma attached to professionalism in painting.
The major initial Western studies of Chinese painting represented a continuation of the traditional Chinese dichotomies. More recently, various kinds of positions have been taken up by Western scholars. James Cahill suggests that a correlation can be made between an artist's painting style and social and economic factors (such as lifestyle, formal training, means of livelihood, demands of patrons, and so on). Richard Barnhart instead defends the professional artist: He believes that Cahill perpetuates the bias in favour of the amateur artist, and that a correlation between an artist's style and social and economic factors is not useful, being too restrictive and general. Their debate was taken up in a series of letters, and this debate has continued down to the present.
Some of the most recent Western interpretations attempt to try to break down the earlier dichotomies, and my research supports this interpretive trend. In this context the thesis examines the life and works of two relatively minor artists of the Ming dynasty, the "professional" artist Wu Wei (1459-1508) and the "scholar-amateur" artist Lu Zhi (1496-1576). I discuss the Chinese biographical tradition and have translated the appropriate texts and biographies. Then by examining the paintings themselves in the context of the two artists' environments — Wu Wei in Beijing and Nanjing and Lu Zhi in Suzhou — I show that both of these artists enjoyed the freedom of working in a wide variety of different painting traditions. Early and middle Ming painting criticism is also examined, in addition to the influence of Late Ming (1580-1644) painting criticism and its effect on our perception of Chinese artists.
In terms of style, aesthetics, and intellectual outlook, Wu Wei and Lu Zhi may, at first, appear to stand at opposite poles. However, my study of the life circumstances of Wu Wei and Lu Zhi reveals that they share surprisingly similar backgrounds, concerns, and views on their artwork. In addition, an examination of the works of these two artists suggests that a greater fluidity of style and of subject matter existed in the early and middle Ming period than one would expect from the theories based on Late Ming criticism. In other words, the distinction between professional and scholar-amateur artists is overdrawn: Wu Wei and Lu Zhi do not fit neatly into the later understandings of accepted categories or roles, nor do their paintings entirely accord with the theories originating in the Late Ming Period.Arts, Faculty of

After that follows requirements analysis and design of information system which will evaluate presence information from multiple sources with various features and than display it graphically on plans or maps. At the conclusion there is described implementation and testing of developed information system.

In karst areas relationships between activities occurring on the surface and the overall health of the subsurface environment are often highly interconnected. However, the complex nature of karst flow systems can often make identification of these connections difficult. Carroll Cave, a large stream cave system located in the central Missouri Ozarks, is known for its biological and speleological significance. A dye tracing project to delineate a Carroll Cave recharge area through dye tracing has identified an area of 18.5 km2 which contributes water to the cave. The water from Thunder River within Carroll Cave was positively traced to eight springs of the thirteen springs at a distributary spring system known as Toronto Springs. Through examination of the geochemistry of the individual springs, differences in water chemistry between the various outlets has become evident. Additional work with YSI Sonde dataloggers and consideration of carbonate chemistry relationships has sought to further define the variations in hydrochemical behavior, thus aiding in the discrimination potential spring sources. Primary sources thought to contribute water to the spring system include Carroll Cave and Wet Glaize Creek, with some minor influence from other losing streams in the vicinity. Seepage runs along Wet Glaize Creek have also identified major losing reaches, in close proximity to structural features, which may contribute water to Toronto Springs. Examination of the measured parameters and derived have identified that Carroll Cave and Wet Glaize Creek are the primary end members for Ca2+, Mg2+, HCO3-, specific conductance, and temperature. Using these parameters a two end member mixing model has been developed which describes the mixing zone setting at Toronto Springs and calculates the average proportions of flow contributions by the end members. By using a multi-proxy approach of dye tracing, seepage runs, and geochemistry for the individual springs, the source waters and pathways for the springs at Toronto Springs have been identified.

Dough strengtheners are the most common and largest group of chemicals used in bread formulations. This study evaluated the capability of hard red spring (HRS) wheat flour to replace commercial dough strengtheners in bread production. Doughs were prepared by blending different percentages (10%, 20%, 30% and 40%) of four different HRS wheat flours with hard red winter (HRW) wheat flour. In addition, doughs were prepared by adding ten commercially available additives with HRW wheat flour to compare the dough strengthening ability of HRS wheat flour. All the HRS wheat flour blends had significantly (p<0.05) strong dough rheological characteristics than most of the additives. The 40% blends of HRS wheat cultivar Glenn and Linkert had better bread making quality than other blends and all the additives. The SE-HPLC unextractable protein fractions of these two cultivars also showed a better correlation with bread making properties than all the additives.
