Повний текст джерелаThe article is devoted to the consideration of the sources of formation and, consequently, to the understanding of the essence of man not only as a thinking, but also spiritual being. As the main stages of the formation of man as a spiritual being, the aesthetic, ethical and philosophical stage of the formation of spirituality is considered. Formation of the aesthetic form of the spiritual appearance of the individual is the formation of an openness to the world a sense of sanctity and world-worship. It is associated with a special position in man in space, is the result of his creative activity, as the ability to simultaneously realize the power, admire the formidable forces of nature and resist them, to realize the mystery of the world order. form a cathartic feeling of the sublime. As a result of shock, surprise and confusion, an exalted sense of spirituality, openness to the world, the ability to self-transcendence and self-alienation, as an ability to understand one's spiritual vocation, arises. The next stages consider the formation of a noospheric, responsible person, as an ethical form of spirituality, the passionarity of the individual, and, finally, its philosophical form, as the perception of contradictions and the problems of social and individual being.

Повний текст джерелаThis thesis, started under the direction of Daniel Arasse, looks at Renaissance painting from 1303 to 1608 and examines its essential paradox: how could the natural and spiritual worlds• be brought into contact in a painting that was at once mime tic (following Alberti) and Christian, and hence dedicated to representing the unrepresentable, the invisible, and the incommensurable. In opposition to the unity of medieval symbolic montages, Renaissance painting saw the appearance of a border, an edge, a margin, a crossing. This never-to-be-resolved, paradoxical and unstable border opened onto three centuries of intense creativity, which reflected, in visual thought, the gradual change in cosmological and theological ideas. The question of the border allows us to reinterpret questions of frame and thresholds: the sculpted architecture of the polyptychs at the culminating point of the ecclesial path, the real or painted frames of paintings, the windows, and so on. It also has a bearing on particular figurative objects which, like so many "strange attractors", blur the Aristotelian mimesis in a "disfiguring" pictoriality or dislocate Aristotle's place: witness the angels, the curtains, the drapes, the rising and descending fumes of fire or ice, the clouds, the flames, the checkered patterns, the frames, the doors to paradise or to the virginal chamber, the balustrades. Finally, the question of the border allows us to probe structures of figuration and show again how perspective is, in reality, a theological device. It is embedded in a history of the material and spiritual eye and in a history of the image. In the "era of the image", as defined by Hans Belting, sometimes the image itself is revealed in an unsettling epiphany to be a border of worlds

Abstract Art Expression of Spiritual Image and Humane Concern The focus of art expression is: what is art to express, and how to express? The former question is related to the theme and content of art, while the latter is related to its expressive form, style, media, and skills. Nevertheless, whether the theme and content, or the style and form of art expression, they are both associated with the soul image of the creator. The soul consists not only of the entire nerve system, but also of the whole universe. As the soul extends infinitely, it can sense any matter and objects in any space and time. Image is, however, the vision generated from inner experience; it is an vision entity which is a product through instantaneous combination of consciousness and sub consciousness. Soul image is the consciousness, sub consciousness, or value orientation made up of our life, experience, memory, personality…etc. Hence, soul image can be deemed as the inexhaustible fountain of inspiration for art expression. From the appeal of “emancipation of the soul” at the end of eighteenth century to the end of the calamity of two world wars, human beings started to re-contemplate the positioning of technological sense and soul intuition. Through introspection and criticism, the researcher perceives that only by grace of human reflection and concern, and elevating the quality of soul, can we avoid the objectification and alienation resulted from industrialization and digitalization. Human concern refers to the concern on “human”, with emphasis on the liberation of soul or the emancipation of spirit, which is precisely the self-awareness of human nature that humanists attempted to rebuild ever since ancient time. Through theory development and creation introspection, the researcher determines that the content of personal soul image is centralized in nature, environment, society, and culture, as well as in the images of animals, plants, and natural environment; it also encompasses the concern on current social issues, which reveals the researcher’s care for human nature. Therefore, the gist of this research is human nature set on humane concern, with its style focused on expressiveness, and its purpose is to, by employing rich images deep in the soul to exhibit the researcher’s concern on nature, environment, society, and culture. Accordingly, the researcher entitled the ideal of the creation as “the art expression of soul image and human concern”, by which gradual discussion of theory and realization of creation shall be conducted. In order to present the ideal of the creation, in terms of its realization, the creator has accomplished 21 works regarding three layers of aspects: “the respect for life”, “the criticism on society”, and “the concern on ecology”. Through the researching process of this creation, the researcher has gained much precious experience, touching elements, and inspiration; thus acquired further acknowledgement on the content and correlation among art expression, soul image, and human concern. Stated below are with 7 key points of this research: 1.Art derives from earnest concern and touching essence: beauty emerges from touching essence, which arises from the sincerity and care of the soul. 2.Art is the pursuit of inner life: image is equipped with inner nature, and art with inner life. 3.Art is the integration of human spirits: art should express human spirit, which is functional of adjusting the unbalance in reason and sensibility, and of regulating the divergence of self from tradition. 4.Resonance can be inspired by the incorporation of absolute value into epochal value: art plays an essential role in an epoch, and is capable of inspiring general spiritual resonance. 5.Soul image can be disclosed with the fusion of simultaneity and automation: in art works, the fusion of skills like images-overlap, space-time interlacing, and automation…etc, is capable of revealing deep hidden soul images. 6.Significance can be transformed through the interaction between perceptions and concepts: art is the media of expression and communication, through which perceptive images and theme concepts would be mutually affected, while creators and appreciators interact reciprocally to form new significance of the work. 7.Art style can be established by accentuating cultural features: art content initiates from self-awareness in human nature, with its expressive form originating from soul image. To build up unique style, regional and cultural traits must be highlighted.

The researcher tries to make records of the body changes from personal harrowing experiences through creative pictorial forms, including headache, stomachache, period pain, and different emotions. With the utmost spiritual freedom given by artistic creation, the possibilities of various forms can be excluded; the researcher proceeds to decode, recombine and reforge, calling out the existential thinking which conceals in the spiritual images. Through artistic creation and self-expression, the researcher can liberally release from and adjust negative emotions or annoyances caused by body presentation, and bring forth sotamophychic consciousness and realization through the procedure for interpreting, decoding, analyzing and exploring them. With the results from this paper, the researcher makes records of spiritual images, from passive evasion to frank acceptance; finally develops a procedure for active confrontment and release of body imagery; shows personal implicit spiritual characteristics and images; deeply experiences physical pain; and helps herself relieve and expel sotamophychic suffering. By means of the symbolized images of painting, she can also merge her emotional, aesthetic viewpoints, and achieve the ultimate goal of release and self-healing with the integrative development of body imagery creation.

This text aims to explore the essence of “Exist.ID” through existing literature on existentialism, egoism, psychoanalysis, sub-consciousness, semiotics and creative genealogy. Mental images of the soul are expressed in ink through the creative process and its examinations. Meanwhile, formalities and methods of expression are examined through creative self-realisation, and interpreted by means of symbolism and metaphor, constructing a personal creative logic and vocabulary with profound spiritual significance. The creative research of this project is divided into five categories, starting out with the “Masked Life” series, which is a string of descriptive investigations of the interactions between individuals, and between individuals and society as a whole. This is followed by “Window to the Mind”, which portrays the original self, the disoriented nature of contemporary existence, the insecurity, mistrust and paradoxical state of mind it breeds, as an investigation of the process of self-identification. The third series is called “Bound Hearts”. It looks at the isolation created by society, the actual and virtual boundaries, and the emotionless, secluded and self-contained auto-dialogue that is projected. The next series “Nihilistic World” explores a multitude of possible forms of existence; it creates a new space by using points, lines and surfaces- the tools of traditional painting. Finally, “The Beginning and End of Life” represents the experiences of the human will, its demands, reflections, and how clashes between the inner and outer worlds push the self to desire release and long for a balanced, harmonic state. Personal creativity is thus replaced with an exploration of life as an ending to the series.

Art creation involves an artist’s individual emotion and living experience. When art creation combines with esthetics, art creation will be equipped with two characteristics, representing the meaning of life and fascination. The researcher has stayed in different cities for a long period of time. The researcher has both the deep experiencing and transformation of the mood as the initiation of creation. The researcher skillfully applies some picture-based symbols to present the “city image”. This study aims at exploring how to signify modern people’s pursuit of mental freedom through birds’ eyes, known as “The Eyesight of Birds.” Furthermore, the researcher clarified the thread of thought of her own personal creation through the analyses of art theory. The researcher embodied the symbols and metaphors of modern people’s mental world through the parable art. In this study of creation, the researcher applied methodologies of theoretical analysis, theoretical comprehensive analysis and action research. The first chapter of this study is regarding the motives and purposes of the researcher while conducting this study as well as the methodologies and research range. The researcher explored related studies and researches, including the performance of parables on traditional paintings and modern paintings in the second chapter; furthermore, the researcher studied the characteristics of modern cities, the concept of flaneur and the psychological foundation of creation study. In Chapter Three, the researcher illustrated the ideas of creation in terms of the ideas of creation and contents of the “City Image.” Chapter Four is the analyses of the researcher’s artworks. The researcher combined the images of birds and cities to demonstrate the contents of “City Image;” in addition, the researcher merged both psychological theories and paintings of parables to analyze her recognition of life with her personal viewpoint. The researcher also expects her artworks can escape from the frame of life; on the other hand, the researcher has been attempting to discover the hidden and neglected parts in life with the viewpoints of an observer. Chapter Five is the conclusion of this thesis paper; the researcher proposed the retrospection of this study and expectation in the near future. Through the creation of “Freedom of the Spiritual Soar - The City Image with The Eyesight of Birds,” the researcher was capable of forming her artworks by means of continuous exploration, observation and construction of ideas. Those artworks also reflect the real thoughts of the researcher’s comprehension of living. Moreover, the researcher was allowed to be fertilized mentally through the creation of her artworks. The insecurity that existed in the researcher’s mind had been gradually transformed into positive energy. The researcher was allowed to completely represent her spiritual connotation through her artworks and demonstrate her personal unique style of paintings.

Regional development and historical culture are considered closely related that the historical spirit of culture would form the elements of regional images over time. Tainan is named an “ancient cultural capital” whose diverse architecture and cultural spirit are created by the development of various ethnic groups. Public transportation is primary for the public that bus stops provide the public with shelters from the sun and rain as well as detailed information of the rides. Bus stops locate on several places in the region that they are regarded as a part of the region for introducing the specific cultural spirit of the region and developing the public facilities with regional culture. By extracting the cultural spirit of historical sites, this study tends to combine phased questionnaire surveys to transform cultural spirit into symbols through semiotic theories and figurative design and to further introduce them to bus stops so as to present the regional culture. The public at bus stops therefore could naturally experience the regional culture and know the cultural spirit. From the research outcomes, cultural spiritual image could be interpreted by symbols or images and transformed into actual objects. With the research outcomes, it is expected to become an icon of design for the beautification plans of other counties and cities. The profound history covered in cultural spirit could be easily understood through public facilities so that the public could further learn the spirit and meaning of such culture. Key words: regional culture, public transportation, bus stop, semiotics, figurative design

This essay made attempt to use literary text as teaching material of culture to guide students in multi-cultural contrast of cross-language and –culture by adopting vocabularies and textural images containing cultural implication, through the approach of translation teaching, so as to allow students rebuild schema and enhance prior knowledge of culture required in reading and writing of Mandarin in the process of contrasting during class discussion, by integrating students’ living experience and cognition. This study was divided into two stages. Scope of the first stage lay in The story of the Stone, a story describing traditional Chinese culture from multiple aspects, where “Zen Shiyin in a Dream Sees the Jade of Spiritual Understanding” and “All Good Things Must End” in Chapter One were cited as samples of contrast corpus between Mandarin and English. The result showed that cultural differences between China and the West, as well as personal factors of each individual translator, caused variation in selecting Mandarin and English words and cultural vacancy in translation. The second stage aimed to design experimental teaching materials and methods in order to apply the cultural vacancy caused by cultural differences to cultural teaching and to complement cognition of the vacancy through class discussion about multi-culture, and also guide the students to reorganize the schema and promote their background knowledge for reading and writing. In sourcing experimental teaching materials and methods, mythology which is interesting for most people was selected——the myth“Nu-wa smelted stones to mend the sky” in the first half of Chapter One “Zen Shiyin in a Dream Sees the Jade of Spiritual Understanding” and “All Good Things Must End”, the philosophical thinking distributing throughout the whole novel, were cited as texts of source language, while concept of whole-language educational philosophy was adopted as teaching philosophy and 5C3M (5C: communication, cultures, connections, comparisons, communities; 3M: interpersonal mode, presentation mode, interpretive mode) were employed as principles of teaching method design. As these teaching materials and methods have never been exercised practically, questionnaire method was implemented to collect teachers’ and students’ opinions as basis for improving the teaching materials and methods. Finding of statistical results of the questionnaire analyzed by SPSS18.0 showed that students were interested in accepting cultural texts as cultural material, which deserved further thinking by teachers: How to use literary texts as material for designing teaching contents and modes suitable for themselves; if a teaching method of translation teaching is to be used, it would be more suitable that subjects of teaching be limited to a class with students using the same native language. As up to three forth of students agreed with homework in form of translation combining students’ living experience, translating Mandarin into students’ native language, teachers could try this way to boost interest and motivation of students in learning Mandarin. Finally, as the teaching materials and methods designed by this study are experimental ones without having been implemented, teachers may improve them based on results of the questionnaire and then lecture Mandarin literature curriculum with literature works in real teaching field to accomplish a practical research.

The author connected her female spiritual expression with the course of the events, from the start to the end, and her conscious or subconscious feelings aroused from the growing experiences of herself, with the materials of “Picture” and “Symbol”. The author internalized her growing experiences and associated them with her inner spiritual thoughts, by the methods of static, lines, colors, dynamic as her materials of creation. Self-perception and spirit of a woman of new age were totally exhibited with her artistic creation, by which the author wished to start a new artistic expression. New Feminism, Psychology and Iconology are the theoretical bases of this paper. The Literature methodology, Quality of thinking, Image science methodology and Art methodology are the methods of this paper. For painting media, the author tried multiple attempts, such as "painting", "acrylic paint" and together with other "mixed media" for novel attempts. By the use of autobiographical paintings, it conveyed the dialogue of self and subconscious. The mixture use of cool and warm colors or the presentation with texture stressed the expression of inner images. In this paper, the author explored the "inner mind" through the approach of "metaphor", by which personal inner spiritual awareness and personal subtle life experience were explored. The author reflected on, improved, discussed and analyzed mutual trust between people as well as social care, with the wishes for the reformation of aged thoughts and the enhanced shape of self-feature and inner awareness.

This paper primarily focuses on paintings created by the author between 2010 and 2012, investigating Juan Net’s influence on the various manifestations of the environment’s and people’s expressions of imagination and meaning. The paper also explores the spirit behind the author’s methods and modes of painting and delves into the reconstruction and stacking under different states of consciousness that arise from visual reflection. When psychological and visual experiences are embodied in one’s creations, the creative spirit is released, and meaning and personality are revealed. During the process of creation, what the author hopes is revealed is the visual experience that cannot be entirely experienced through physical faculties and is instead brought to completion by psychological ones during our journeys in space and time. Personal experiences are combined with the principles of “Juan” and subjectively infused into the content of the work. Through the style of a narrative documentary, various journeys are revealed in an attempt to shed light on the content of the experience. The works focus on emotions of entanglement or confusion that are unrelated to pain or joy. From the standpoint of an observer, simultaneous feelings of distrust and self-righteous emotions might arise, allowing us to probe into “the reality in unreality.” When faced with this predicament, the author asks the question of whether its possible to experience the work’s innermost authenticity, and uses this opportunity to attempt to explore the author’s own flow of experience registration through image recording. The main principles behind the creations are the use of both concrete and formless images in daily life and twisting and crisscrossing lines, filling the resulting blocks with color. The unique characteristics of both are highlighted, creating an interwoven and penetrating image. Generally speaking, these works cannot be regarded as reproductions of natural objects, but instead, they contain narratives, illustrating how the inner world influences people and our surroundings. The entire creative process, then, becomes a documentation of a journey. Some of what occurs can be controlled, while the rest arises unexpectedly, rendering images that appear all the more profoundly uncertain and unique. The methods implemented in creating these pieces can be defined by three philosophies: I. a vanishing image (of the past), II. a visible image (of the present), and the experimental, III. an imagined image (of the present or future). Parts of the creations were also implemented while blindfolded. To further extend the concepts discussed above, the psychological stimuli resulting from physical experience is used to reveal the intangibility of our “Juan-like” world. The author also attempted to take on the perspective of the observer looking at the completed creations, and mindfully reflected upon the important role of experience and impressions with regards to a painting.

Повний текст джерелаEvery church faces the challenge of procuring capable workers for the multifaceted task of ministry. For several decades now official denominational statements and the discipline of Practical Theology have been calling for a new understanding of giftedness in ecclesial service. As yet little fundamental research has been done in this area. This dissertation seeks to make a contribution both empirically and theologically. It marks the first time in the German–speaking world of Practical Theology that the issue of how one discovers charisms is addressed academically. The specific field of research is located in the Protestant Regional Church of Baden in southwest Germany. Nevertheless the findings can be applied more broadly since the research is based on thorough exegetical and systematic–theological analysis and has been verified empirically. There has been a quest for the charisms of the Spirit since the beginning of the twentieth century and even more so now in the face of the societal challenges of postmodernity. In the discussion of the different theological positionens arise as result that charisms have to be seen with an triune approach. In addtion, besindes the fact that charisms have a habitual meaning, they first of all have a relational dimension. The empirical research involved online–interviewings of pastors, plus interviews of church members. One of the major findings was that the views of pastors on how church members receive gifts is determined by their theological understanding of the charisms. Pastors discover gifts, not according to Pauline criteria, but largely according to emotional aspects, as proved by this research. It became apparent that protestant pastors are of the opinion that New Testament charisms are not first received at baptism, but already at birth. Another interesting finding is that members of both protestant main stream churches and pentacostal-charismatic churches hold the same believes about how to receive charisms. The only difference is their repertoire of gifts. This dissertation focuses on developing guidelines for the discovery of charisms within the congregation as the local body of the Church.

The Bible is widely read but it is difficult to understand the world and culture of the era that it is set in. It is my aim to provide new insight into a few Old Testament verses with their symbolic meaning. When ivory was discovered at Nimrud the discovery elicited huge excitement. The ivory pieces came to tell a story. Through studying the art of the different cultures a picture begins to appear of the palaces and homes of the wealthy in the Levant. The iconography could be “read.” Iconography is the science of interpreting the message the art wants to convey to the viewer. A few images are repeatedly showing up in the Levant during the Iron Age. In this study I am focusing mainly on The Tree of Life, the Winged Disc, the Rosette and Winged Spiritual Beings. I am attempting to discern the meaning behind these images.
