Анотація:
Detection of vacant parking space is becoming a challenging task gradually. Space utilization and management of vehicle space is now a demandable field of research. Searching for an empty parking space in congested traffic is a time-consuming process. The existing vacant parking space detection methods are not robust or generalized for images captured from different camera viewpoints. Finding a proper parking space in a busy city is really a challenging issue and people are facing this problem on a daily basis. The main purpose of this research is to comprehensively discuss the previous researches of vacant parking space detection and compare them from different aspects. Methods used in previous researches are descriptively discussed along with their advantages and disadvantages. The frameworks of previous researches were compared on six generalized phases and the experimental results are compared in terms of dataset, accuracy, processing time and other performance measures. This research also focuses on the challenges of vision-based vacant parking space detection which will contribute to future researches and researchers can work to overcome these challenges.

Анотація:
Studies on basic technologies on space robots have been conducted at the Electrotechnical Laboratory (ETL) since 1983. The research emphasizes on developing key technologies of dexterous extravehicular robots. It is categorized into four areas: space adaptive mechatronics; telerobotics; on-board skill technology; and motion control of free flying robots in 0-gravity. We have been developing several pilot models such as a dexterous space manipulator system working in a vacuum, a graphic simulator augmented teleoperation system for long-distance robots, a smart end-effector for a large space manipulator arm, and an astronaut reference flying robot. This paper overviews the space robotics research efforts at ETL and presents a current topic of the precise space telerobotics experiment on ETS-VII.

PurposeAltmetrics is a complementary method in scientometrics for evaluating the performance of individuals, organizations, institutions and countries in social media. Due to the large volume of data related to the interactions in science, technology and innovation, there is no choice but to develop and implement accurate models for analysis and decision making. The Quadruple Helix Model examines the scientific outcomes in four spaces of innovation, knowledge, consensus and government with a distinctive attention to the “innovation space”. In other words, it aims to find the connection between the academic space and other sectors of a society (public, media and government) to see if scientific outputs respond appropriately to their needs.Design/methodology/approachThe present paper studied the impact of health-related researches in D8 countries) including Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Egypt and Nigeria) using the Altmetrics scores of their indexed journal in the Web of Science (WOS). The results demonstrated distribution of interactions of the mentioned four spaces in health science researches in terms of social media, geographical distribution and theme for D8 countries. This was conducted using content analysis, scientometric and altmetric indicators in the WOS and Altmetrics.com databases.FindingsIn D8 countries, more interaction has taken place in the knowledge and innovation spaces; however, there exist Quadruple imbalances in these countries. Moreover, some interactions have been observed in all social networks, displaying that users consider health topics in D8 countries, and clinical sciences has gotten more interaction in all the four spaces.Originality/valueThe application of this model using altmetrics data with current approach has been conducted for the first time.

Analyzing applications involving industrial robots, these can generally be classified into two categories. In the first category, the robot is used to position an object or a tool in its working space. In the second category, the robot is used for programmed and continuous movement of an object in the working space. These two categories of use of industrial robots determine two families of characteristics considered fundamental for the assessment of performance robots: pose characteristics and tracking path characteristics. The pose characteristics are generally expressed by the pose accuracy and pose repeatability (positioning and orientation). From this category is “distance accuracy”, whose analysis is the subject of this paper. The authors present a method for measuring and evaluating of this characteristic, through 3D triangulation with two digital theodolits. The experimental researches were made for a welding robot type Cloos-Romat. The presented case study validates the results of the experimental research, the method and the used algorithm.

This is an overview of the current knowledge of the structural and functional organization of the smooth muscle tissue (SMT) presenting equally fundamental and applied interest for space biomedicine. SMT is a structural component of the visceral organs involved in adaptive reactions or pathological developments. According to the evidence, cell populations of visceral SMT contain smooth myocites differing in histophysiological properties. Many investigators reason that the SMT morphological and embriological origin is organ-specific and can be an area of translational researches, including space biomedicine. In spite of the multisided analysis of animal and humans tissues exposed to the spaceflight factors, no effort has been made to study SMT in space microgravity or ground-based modeling experiments. However, space gastroenterology knows facts about morphological transformations in the digestive organs in the spaceflight environment. Clearly, SMT as a structural component of the gastrointestinal tract may contribute directly in a number of organ-specific changes during orbital missions. SMT studies will unveil mechanisms of adaptive cell, and molecular changes with stromal mediation due to microgravity, and reveal targets for enhancing health control in space missions.

Relatively recently, the concept of the unity of the space, biosphere and humans has become a subject matter of serious scientific researches. The concept was put forward by Russian scholars and thinkers among which the seat of honor is occupied by K.E. Tsiolkovsky and A.L. Chizhevsky. Both researchers were concerned in how the space is related to its greatest creation – life and its meaning on the scale of the Universe. Their works were largely devoted to theoretical and experimental studies of these issues. Both of them accepted the broad spread of extraterrestrial life forms and close dependence of the global Earth's eco-system (biosphere) on space effects. Now there is good reason to assert that the ideas of A.L. Chizhevsky and K.E. Tsiolkovsky had a fundamental role in establishment of space biology as a new branch of science.

The article describes a possibility of airframe weight-saving structural technique during supporting rib development by design space tailoring. For scientific mission is given below the supporting rib, the loading pattern, the shearingforce and bending-moment diagrams. The researches are undertaken by structural calculation aimed to choosing of the supporting rib design space, web thickness, a number of supporting carrier gates. Herewith, it should be noted that requirements of structural availability without crippling and attainment of safety margin are achieved. Calculation and optimization of supporting rib design space held for supporting rib, which is made of different metallic materials. The article says, that usage of modern method of airframe assembly allows to optimize the design spaces of supporting rib and reduce the weight of it. According to researches, analysis of total resulting is done, and recommendations for use are given.

AbstractDriving space for autonomous vehicles (AVs) is a simplified representation of real driving environments that helps facilitate driving decision processes. Existing literatures present numerous methods for constructing driving spaces, which is a fundamental step in AV development. This study reviews the existing researches to gain a more systematic understanding of driving space and focuses on two questions: how to reconstruct the driving environment, and how to make driving decisions within the constructed driving space. Furthermore, the advantages and disadvantages of different types of driving space are analyzed. The study provides further understanding of the relationship between perception and decision-making and gives insight into direction of future research on driving space of AVs.

Integral space concrete roof is an excellent roof structure, the application scope is wide. The characteristics of the structure and the construction methods get all through the experiment and the actual test, which shows the roof is superior to the traditional form. In order to validate the construction cost and how the social benefits, further researches is needed. Based on the traditional arch board roof for reference, it is researched of the construction cost, the directly benefit, the comprehensive character etc. And as a cold storage the basis, the social benefit is calculated. The results showed that the roof direct construction cost than traditional roof save about 20% ~ 45%, the social efficiency huge, for the popularization and application of the roof provides a strong basis.

The work deals with determination of the place of urban naming researches in linguistic regional studies. The author substantiates the importance of the linguistic and cultural approach to the description of urbanonyms. The purpose of this description is a formation of urbanonymic mental maps of the city, where there are objects (oikodomonyms, necronyms, etc.), pathways (godonyms and dromonyms), boundaries (often associated with gydronyms), districts (local horonyms, drymonyms, etc.), nodes and landmarks (agoronyms). Important aspects of the description of city urbanonymicon are the etiology, the toponymic history, place in urban naming space, urbanonymic categorization of city toponyms.

In this historical survey, we have reviewed researches of shadow phenomenon in satellite images since the beginning of the need for treatment and interpretation in remote sensing. Because remote sensing enters into many applications and is shared with many sciences, studies on the phenomenon of shadows have been conducted with in different ways. In this review, we attempted to link the evolution of remote sensing techniques with growing resolution of space images as research progresses in the treatment of shadows, because the evolution of space sensor abilities sure increases the options for the interpreter and processor of the satellite image in remote sensing and other purposes. There were also problems that appeared only with the emergence of high-resolution satellite images (0.6 meters) such as the problem of the semi-shadow region. Some researches included some weaknesses and limitations that could not be comprehensive for all satellite images, for all regions of the earth, or for all target shadows.

Анотація:
The importance of an abstract in a research article has turned the focus of linguistics on Genre analysis of abstract articles. Taking into consideration this immensely researched topic, this paper aims to investigate the macro and micro structures in the Linguistics and Literature Abstracts. In the previous researches, this very comparison is never addressed by the researches, hence the present research aims to fill this gap. The corpus contained 40 abstracts, 20 of linguistics and 20 of literature from International Journal of Applied Linguistics & English Literature (IJALEL). The macro analysis was made according to the Create a Research Space (CARS) model by Swales (2004) and Ant mover software was used to analyze the corpus, while the micro analysis followed Swales and Feak (2009). The results showed that there is no significant difference between the linguistics and literature abstracts at the macro level while the differences lie at the micro level. This study will be beneficial for the novice researchers as it provides a framework of analyzing two interconnected disciplines.

Space is one of the basic categories of philosophy having extensive operational and analytical capabilities. Nowadays the specificity of different types of spaces is studied, and the methodology of a spatial approach has become recognized as an effective method of knowledge in various sciences: philosophy, philology, pedagogics and psychology, political science, sociology, art history and cultural studies, economics and law, technical and natural sciences (physics, mathematics, biology, chemistry). As a special tool, the spatial approach is included in the scientific-educational store of documentary communication cycle’s sciences. To proof this statement authors examined an array of dissertations on library science and bibliography. A vector of cognitive activity, formed in librarian works of last 20-30 years, was directed on researching a spatial-information subject, as well as related to an «information space» phenomenon. However, many scientists, focusing on spatial terminology, have not deepened theoretical aspects and set tasks to detect an entity and structure of the information space without trying to offer its definition. Nevertheless, after representation theoretical and methodological foundations for studying information space scientists by T. F. Berestova in her doctoral dissertation researches began operating spatial terminology more confidently. Works’ analysis in library science allowed concluding that studying information or any other space researchers always focus their attention on investigating the interaction of the subject, which simultaneously acts as a part and as a creator of the space with other subjects and objects within it. This interaction provides course of integrative processes between subjects. The library science has already studied some form of interaction, identified a number of areas of integration processes, which are involved and initiated by the library. Thus, the analysis of works revealing the spatial issues enabled to summarize the methodology and to identify some common theoretical and methodological positions, which should be relied while developing a new epistemological tool in library science: methodology of the spatial approach. This article offers recommendations to use the spatial approach in library science and bibliographic researches.

Анотація:
The issue of the article is to acquaint researchers with new methods of studying geopolitics on a strict quantitative scientifically grounded basis. The relevance of this topic is confirmed by the general growth of interest in geopolitical topics in scientific publications, but for the most part these publications are characterized by speculative argumentation and a superficial vision of geographic space. The review article intends to systematize modern theoretical knowledge about geopolitics, to present domestic methodological developments in this area. In the 1990 s, there was a search for conceptual schemes for a quantitative or qualitative analysis of geopolitical relations and acquaintance with foreign trends in geopolitics and methods of argumentation. Since the 2000 s in the latest methodology of geopolitics, 4 generalized directions are distinguished: geopolitics in geographical interpretation, which considers geopolitical processes through the prism of objective spatial data, and uses the geographic scientific base and theories of domestic economic and theoretical geography in the argument, the second is the geo-economic branch, which is based on the achievements of economic science in the mathematization of scientific knowledge, the third is critical geopolitics, which implies a quantitative and qualitative analysis of political discourse, geopolitical images and ideas about the place of a country (region) in the world, the fourth is geopolitical mathematical modeling. In general, the identified areas are not opposed to each other, but have pronounced accents and their own pool of studies, recognized as «classical», included in the foundation of scientific constructions, and there is also an interpenetration and unification of methods for quantitative analysis of geopolitical studies. The article is addressed in order to consolidate knowledge about geopolitics, to interpenetrate the developed methods in this area and stimulate interdisciplinary approaches.

Анотація:
Researches on higher-vocational English teaching modes in China have developed for 19 years from 2003 to 2022. There are 8342 researches on higher vocational English teaching modes till Aug. 2022. It is urgent to figure out the research trends of higher-vocational English teaching modes, which include the research hot spots, frontiers and prospects in order to make recommendations for the further researches. Since the number of relative researches has been decreasing since 2018, 3058 researches on higher-vocational English teaching modes from Jan. 2018 to Aug. 2022 on CNKI platform were collected for this study. Cite Space 6.1.R3, as literature visualization analysis tool, was utilized for the study. Cluster analysis, kkeywords visualization function, burst detection function, keywords clustering and timeline function of Cite Space were applied for this research. As the analysis results indicate, the major research trends of higher-vocational English teaching modes include blended teaching mode in China; higher-vocational English teaching modes based on We-chat and other platforms. Research frontiers include business English, public English and hotel English teaching modes; Spoc (Small Private Online Course) teaching modes. Research prospects include blended teaching mode in public English education. As for the authors and institutions for the literature, Zhao Keyan has 15 frequency by citation and Hunan Arts and Crafts Vocational College has the strongest strength. As for the recommendation for further researches on higher-vocational English teaching modes, blended teaching modes in public higher-vocational English education are proposed

This paper mainly discussed the relation between human behave and space configuration, in order to analysis and optimize the space of urban commercial pedestrian street. In this paper, Xi'an Shu-Yuan-Men commercial pedestrian space has been chosen as a case study. Firstly, a model has been built by using space syntax on the basis of the space network, and an analysis and optimization has been offered from the technical level. Secondly, combined with space network, by recording and analysis of the human behavior, a feedback has been offered to the model according to the actual needs. At last, a final comprehensive optimization plan has been carried out. The purpose of this plan is trying to improve the shopping and leisure environment of the mall and comprehensive Land use efficiency.

Анотація:
The article considers the problems of the relationship between the time budgets and expenditures of the rural population of the Kurgan region for the post-Soviet period in a long time section (1989 - 2011) based on statistical and sociological methods. At present, the main trends in visits to service facilities by families of different types living in different rural settlements have changed little, but the role of large villages has increased significantly. Shops and post offices account for the largest share in the frequency of visits. In rural areas, the network of service enterprises (educational, medical and domestic) has significantly decreased; the share of trade services enterprises and, to a lesser extent, catering has multiply increased. The relationship between the accessibility of a number of service facilities and migration of the population from rural areas has been established (educational and transport services were the most important for villagers). The analysis shows that the working hours of villagers remained at the same level, but there were profound changes in the forms of ownership and management; The time spent on domestic affairs has decreased slightly. Unemployment in rural areas has increased significantly in recent years. The cash expenditure of villagers on food has increased markedly. Survey data show a very tangible "compression" of the rural socio-economic space, so the identification of priority clusters in the service sector is a real way to manage the shrinking rural space of the region. 121 rural local service sector clusters have been allocated in the territory of Kurgan region.

Based on the basic theory of 3D expression of geographic elements and the concept, research framework and logic component of 3D map, the dynamic extension of Bergins visual variables in 3D visualization and the designing of 3D cartographic symbol are studied, to systematically analyze the 3D symbolic expression of geographic elements considering the terrain at different scales in 3D space by referring to the traditional cartographic expression theories and combining the characteristics of 3D environment. Then, the levels of detail in 3D point-shaped symbols and the deal of the relationship between point-shaped symbols and terrain model or other elements are discussed in the process of studying expression of point-shaped geographic elements in 3D space. Besides, the line-shaped elements are categorized into three types of elements, which are single-river, boundary and road, to study their symbolized expression based on terrain model in 3D environment respectively, and the multiple expression approach of the road at different scales is discussed emphatically in this part. Finally, the 3D expression of vegetation, soil and water treated as area elements is discussed respectively, according to geographic meaning and 3D modeling approaches of cartographic elements.

Анотація:
With the development of space exploration, researches on space robot will cause more attentions. However, most existing researches about dynamics and control of space robot concern planar problem, and the effect of flexible panel on dynamics of the system is not considered. In this article, dynamics modeling and active control of a 6-DOF space robot with flexible panels are investigated. Dynamic model of the system is established based on the Jourdain's velocity variation principle and the single direction recursive construction method. The computed torque control method is used to design point-to-point active controller of the space robot. The validity of the dynamic model is verified through the comparison with ADAMS software; the effects of panel flexibility on the system performance and the active controller design are studied in detail. Simulation results indicate that the proposed model is effective to describe the dynamics of space robot; panel flexibility has large influence on the dynamic behavior of space robot; the designed controller can effectively make the robot reach a specified position and the elastic vibration of the panels may be suppressed simultaneously.

In the long historical development of urban architecture is always diverse in terms of type, style, and color. This is a major challenge for GIS researchers of 0-1-2-2.5-3-3.75-4D space. How can they perform residential buildings in a 2D computer screen? This great challenge is reflected in such aspects as shapes of buildings, storage of space of buildings, update the space of buildings, and query the space of buildings. This article systematizes the related researches, classifies existing GIS models, reviews and recommends the combination of spatial components for the construction of residential buildings at the detailed level (LODs) in three-dimensional (3D) space, so receivable result is a GIS new data model, this new model is called IOLODs. The paper installs experimental combinations of spatial components to become residential buildings. This experimental setup is deployed on Oracle 11G and C#, resulting in a visual representation of residential buildings at LODs in 3D space. The empirical results show that integrating spatial components into the construction of residential buildings in new urban planning is a practical and correct work.

Представлены результаты работы лаборатории палеогеографии и геоморфологии ТИГ ДВО РАН в 2017–2020 гг. Приведены новые данные по изучению развития материковых и островных геосистем юга Дальнего Востока и реакции их компонентов на короткопериодные климатические изменения позднего плейстоцена–голоцена. Палеоэкологические изменения с высоким временным разрешением восстановлены в среднегорье Восточного Сихотэ-Алиня. Новые данные получены по развитию геосистем побережья Японского моря, определена роль зональных и азональных природных факторов в их развитии. Выделены этапы развития ландшафтов платобазальтового рода. Реконструированы обстановки осадконакопления и формирования пойменных ландшафтов Приханкайской равнины. Сделаны детальные реконструкции хода развития островных ландшафтов для юга Приморья. Для юга Дальнего Востока проведен синтез изменений ландшафтов в последнее интенсивное потепление – малый оптимум голоцена (VII–XIII вв.). Проанализировано проявление природных катастроф и их пространственно-временной масштаб. Продолжены работы, направленные на оценку цунамиопасности на побережье восточного Приморья. Для Курильских островов выделены наиболее сильные цунами, которые могут быть рассмотрены как кандидаты в мегацунами. Внимание уделено трансформации ландшафтов при освоении территории юга Дальнего Востока древним человеком. Геоархеологические исследования проводились также во внутриконтинентальных районах (Западное Забайкалье, Восточная Монголия). The authors present the results of the researches of the laboratory of paleogeography and geomorphology of PGI FEB RAS in 2017–2020. New data include the study of the development of continental and island geosystems of the South Far East and the response of their components to short-term climate changes in the Late Pleistocene-Holocene. Paleoecological changes with a high temporal resolution have been restored in the middle mountains of the Eastern Sikhote-Alin. New data were obtained on the development of geosystems of the coast of the Sea of Japan, the role of zonal and azonal natural factors in their development was determined. The stages of development of landscapes of the platobasalt genus are highlighted. The conditions of sedimentation and formation of floodplain landscapes of the Khanka Lake plain were reconstructed. Detailed reconstructions of the island landscapes development for the south of Primorye have been made. For the south of the Far East, a synthesis of landscape changes in the last intense warming – Medieval Warm Period of the Holocene (VII-XIII centuries) was made. The manifestation of natural disasters and their space-time scale were analyzed. The investigations aimed at assessment of the tsunami hazard on the coast of eastern Primorye were continued. For the Kuril Islands, the most powerful tsunamis have been identified, which can be considered as candidates for megatsunami. Transformation of landscapes and a human impact on landscapes were also discussed. Geoarchaeological studies were also carried out in the intra-continental regions (Western Transbaikalia, Eastern Mongolia).

This paper identifies health issues in Malaysia, and it reviews preventive measures to make people aware of the importance of healthy living. It reviews researches that show that green space supports greater outdoor activities and influence healthy behaviors of city residents. Анотація:
This work focuses on preference of Public Library users on information and communication technology (ICT) facilities that matches user social activities in the library. It also proffers means of integrating such factors in social interaction spaces of proposed Public library Gwagwalada, Abuja to enhance user experience and meet the digital age. Libraries began incorporating ICT facilities since the advent of technology but without considering the facilities that matches user activity in such spaces. The analysis is based on data collected through observation and questionnaire survey addressed to users and staff of three public libraries and analyzed using SPSS and Microsoft Excel analytical software. The results show that Group Creative Collaborative space is more preferred by users while very few users prefer Small Group Collaborative space. Responses indicate that users prefer group studies to interact. Also “Between Individual and Individual spaces”, majority of public library users prefer Internet Facilities which appears to have mean of (3.8371) while very few prefer Video Conferencing with mean of (2.8708). It also reveals that, in “Between Group and Group space” majority of public library users prefer Mailing List with mean of (3.7247) while very few users prefer Video Conferencing with mean of (3.0955) and “Between Group and Object space” majority of the users prefer Digitalized Library Structure with mean 0f (3.6180) while very few users prefer interactive floor (iFloor) with mean of (3.1292).In conclusion ICT has high potential for encouraging social interaction, in public spaces, thus connecting the society and provides access points to information and supports education. The study revealed the current situation on the issues investigated which can be relied on in future studies or decision making. Essentially, the study produced findings that researchers can apply or validate subsequent similar researches.
