The European Space Agency (ESA) has established a Technology Observatory to actively monitor and benchmark the evolution of space technologies worldwide in support of its space technology strategy. One of the issues that has been recently analysed is the effect of restrictions placed by national governments worldwide on the export of space technologies. In this paper, the authors discuss the main findings of this survey. Import and export restrictions and indicative space related export and import flows are mapped and analysed. In addition, space-related cooperation agreements are reviewed. Positive and negative impacts of export and impact restrictions are identified and analysed. Major space faring countries have national legislations dealing with ‘sensitive’ technologies; however, the scope and type of legislations vary widely. Diverging trends have been identified for major exporting space industries. The European space sector has experienced a large increase while its American counterpart witnessed a net decrease; countries like China, India, Japan, and Russia are more active in export activities. U.S. export regulations have had the strongest impact on shaping the world export market. The widening of the export market strengthens the impact of export restrictions in Europe.

The article carries out an analysis of the competitiveness of the Russian space industry in the international space services market according to the following indicators: the volume of budget of national space organizations, the volume of the commercial space exploration market, the number of space launches, positions in manned cosmonautics, production of spacecrafts, deep space exploration, staffing of the space industry and international integration in the space sphere. The paper conducts a SWOT-analysis of the Russian space industry. Its main strengths are: leading positions in manned cosmonautics, leading positions in the number of space launches per year, and extensive experience in space exploration. The greatest concern is caused by: the lack of development of space robotics, insufficient programs for the development of deep space, financial problems and the private sector of Russian cosmonautics, which is in its infancy. The author substantiates the necessity of reforming the Russian space industry.

Title: Tranformation and Needs Room Layout Design that Determine the Footwear Industry Function in Residential JakartaThe purpose of this reserach is to provide design ideas of shoes home industry by designing the layout that can acommodate the transformation and space needed working & living area. The research’s method based on the phenomenon in the shoes home industry starting from surveying the object which is Perkampungan Industri Kecil (PIK) Penggilingan and understanding the fundamentals points of shoes home industry in terms of transformation, space requirements, and natural lighting & ventilation. The pattern of object’s transformation used for determine the organization of space that can be considered for designing the layout. Space requirement analyzed according to the standard of space. Lighting & natural ventilation analyzed with ecotect simulation according to the standard of health’s minister. The research concluded that the pattern of transformation on the object by level of transformation should be done by extension. In spatial transformation, the design should adapt to makes change of space requirement, especially for the expansion of flexible and residential area. In configurational transformation, service area should be considered in layout design because its fixed position. Some of residential area can be combined with production area in the very small home industry. In the small home industry, some of space can be multifunctional, but there should have a separation between residential and production area. Space on the object needs some adjustments based on standard of space requirements. Some of space can be multifunctional and used portable furniture depends on activity and time-used. Working maps of production area should be arrange using spatial patterns based on the flow of production process. Natural lighting and ventilation should be adjusted to the lighting standard (1000 lux for upper area, 300 lux for bottom area) and thermal comfort (21-30°C).Keywords: Shoes home industry, transformation, space requirement.

The author has provided the chronology of international space law and analyzed the main aspects of the main document of international space law – "Treaty on the principles of activities of states in the exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes." She has analyzed the Ukrainian legislation on the development of the space industry. Due to the chronic underfunding of aerospace enterprises by the Ukrainian government, the industry is in a state of disrepair. At the same time, Ukraine possesses the scientific, engineering and production facilities for the development of the space industry, and therefore has all the prerequisites for bringing this industry out of the crisis. The author has identified problems of the aerospace industry in Ukraine. She has proposed effective measures to take the space industry out of the crisis, Among them: transformation of space enterprises into joint-stock companies, coordination of management functions between central executive authorities. A special attention has been paid to space tourism. The historical aspect of the development of space tourism is provided. The main advantages and disadvantages of space tourism are revealed. The author has proposed to create an orbital service company within the framework of a public-private partnership.

The emergence of the need to demonopolize space activities in Ukraine indicates that space may soon turn from an object ofexclusively state research into a regular destination. Therefore, we turn to the analysis of Ukrainian legislation in this area.The article analyzes the provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on State Regu -lation of Space Activities” and presents arguments in favor of demonopolization of space activities in Ukraine, which in turn shouldpromote space activities and attract investment in Ukraine.Historically, in Ukraine, the space industry was a state monopoly. Only scientific space research, development, testing and productionof non-rocket space objects, their repair and maintenance could be carried out by private enterprises.The basis for the abolition of the state monopoly in this area was presented by the Law of Ukraine “On Space Activities”, whichdefined the general legal basis for space activities in Ukraine, by introducing a declaration on space activities, which is essentially anotification mechanism, and abolishing registration in Space agency of concluded agreements between national and foreign privatebusiness entities.The Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Concerning State Regulation of Space Activities”was developed to remove restrictions on such activities for private space entities, which in turn should lead to the development of spaceactivities, attracting investment in space activities. industry of Ukraine, as well as create new jobs in this area. This law is aimed atensuring development, increasing investment attractiveness, as well as creating a competitive environment for the development of thespace industry in Ukraine, both in the public and private sectors.In addition, to date, the Government has not approved a list of space activities that are subject to compulsory insurance. Thus,there is no legal basis for the implementation of this type of compulsory insurance. What leaves us an open field for discussion.
