It is well known that the concept of left serial ring is a Morita invariant property and a theorem due to Nakayama and Skornyakov states that “for a ring [Formula: see text], all left [Formula: see text]-modules are serial if and only if [Formula: see text] is an Artinian serial ring”. Most recently the notions of “prime uniserial modules” and “prime serial modules” have been introduced and studied by Behboodi and Fazelpour in [Prime uniserial modules and rings, submitted; Noetherian rings whose modules are prime serial, Algebras and Represent. Theory 19(4) (2016) 11 pp]. An [Formula: see text]-module [Formula: see text] is called prime uniserial ( [Formula: see text]-uniserial) if its prime submodules are linearly ordered with respect to inclusion, and an [Formula: see text]-module [Formula: see text] is called prime serial ( [Formula: see text]-serial) if [Formula: see text] is a direct sum of [Formula: see text]-uniserial modules. In this paper, it is shown that the [Formula: see text]-serial property is a Morita invariant property. Also, we study what happens if, in the above Nakayama–Skornyakov Theorem, instead of considering rings for which all modules are serial, we consider rings for which every [Formula: see text]-serial module is serial. Let [Formula: see text] be Morita equivalent to a commutative ring [Formula: see text]. It is shown that every [Formula: see text]-uniserial left [Formula: see text]-module is uniserial if and only if [Formula: see text] is a zero-dimensional arithmetic ring with [Formula: see text] T-nilpotent. Moreover, if [Formula: see text] is Noetherian, then every [Formula: see text]-serial left [Formula: see text]-module is serial if and only if [Formula: see text] is serial ring with dim[Formula: see text].

We define prime uniserial modules as a generalization of uniserial modules. We say that an [Formula: see text]-module [Formula: see text] is prime uniserial ([Formula: see text]-uniserial) if its prime submodules are linearly ordered by inclusion, and we say that [Formula: see text] is prime serial ([Formula: see text]-serial) if it is a direct sum of [Formula: see text]-uniserial modules. The goal of this paper is to study [Formula: see text]-serial modules over commutative rings. First, we study the structure [Formula: see text]-serial modules over almost perfect domains and then we determine the structure of [Formula: see text]-serial modules over Dedekind domains. Moreover, we discuss the following natural questions: “Which rings have the property that every module is [Formula: see text]-serial?” and “Which rings have the property that every finitely generated module is [Formula: see text]-serial?”.

As a proper generalization of injective modules in term of supplements, we say that a module M has the property (SE) (respectively, the property (SSE)) if, whenever M ( N, M has a supplement that is a direct summand of N (respectively, a strong supplement in N). We show that a ring R is a left and right artinian serial ring with Rad(R)2 = 0 if and only if every left R-module has the property (SSE). We prove that a commutative ring R is an artinian serial ring if and only if every left R-module has the property (SE).

AbstractDedekind domains, Artinian serial rings and right uniserial rings share the following property: Every cyclic right module is a direct sum of uniform modules. We first prove the following improvement of the well-known Osofsky-Smith theorem: A cyclic module with every cyclic subfactor a direct sum of extending modules has finite Goldie dimension. So, rings with the above-mentioned property are precisely rings of the title. Furthermore, a ring R is right q.f.d. (cyclics with finite Goldie dimension) if proper cyclic (≇ RR) right R-modules are direct sums of extending modules. R is right serial with all prime ideals maximal and ∩n ∈ ℕJn = Jm for some m ∈ ℕ if cyclic right R-modules are direct sums of quasi-injective modules. A right non-singular ring with the latter property is right Artinian. Thus, hereditary Artinian serial rings are precisely one-sided non-singular rings whose right and left cyclic modules are direct sums of quasi-injectives.

In this paper, we design and implement general parameterized IP (Intellectual Property) cores of convolutional encoder with SMIC 0.35μm CMOS technology, serial structure and parallel structure respectively. And analyze each of the power dissipation using Synopsys PTPX tool. The result shows the parallel circuit structure saves 14 percent power dissipation compared to that of serial circuit structure, with the same encode radio. Meanwhile, computing speed of parallel structure with 8-bit parallelism is 8 times than that of serial structure under the same clock frequency. Certainly, serial circuit structure has their particular characters such as easily realized and less resource consumption.

Analysis of the partner situation illustrates phenomena in society that many do not understand the legal consequences of serial marriages, including regarding the inheritance and legal status of children from serial marriages. The problem that arises is when there are still residents who carry out serial marriages (not recorded), and then issues arise regarding inheritance rights when the husband dies, as well as joint property rights when there is a divorce. The approach to solving partner problems is the lecture and question-and-answer method. The evaluation results showed that community understanding increased significantly after being given socialization, with evaluation accuracy reaching 98%. The purpose of this socialization is to increase the understanding of the community of SMP Islam Muqorrobin Malang regarding the legal consequences of serial marriage.

Based on the sample of serial M&A of Chinese listed companies from 2010–2019, this paper intends to investigate the impact of serial M&A on innovation performance and the impact of financing constraints and digital inclusive finance (DIF). The empirical results show that an inverted U-shaped relationship exists between serial M&A and innovation performance that first goes up and then goes down. The results of mechanism analysis show that financing constraints play a mediating role in the inverted U-shaped relationship between serial M&A and innovation performance, while DIF plays a moderating role in the mediating effect of serial M&A on innovation performance through the financing constraint. The heterogeneity analysis finds that the inverted U-shaped relationship between serial M&A and innovation performance is more significant in firms with non-state ownership property, a higher business environment index, and medium and large-scale firm size. The research results not only help to promote the in-depth analysis of the impact of serial M&A on innovation performance, but also help to provide targeted theoretical reference and practical guidance for corporate management decision making.

We examine conditions under which decisions made in isolation provide an optimal strategy for the multiperiod problem. We focus on investment decisions with constant returns to scale. We first consider the framework of subjective expected utility. Under minimal assumptions (i.e., without assuming utility is concave), we prove that only log utility is myopically optimal when returns are serially correlated. When returns are serially independent, we generalize Mossin’s result [Mossin J (1968) Optimal multiperiod portfolio policies. J. Bus. 41(2):215–229.] that only log and power, including linear and convex, possess the myopic property. Finally, we extend the inquiry when probabilities are uncertain and the decision maker uses the recursive smooth model of ambiguity to identify an optimal strategy. We show that with serial correlation, preferences including ambiguity concerns cannot be myopic and optimal. Without correlation, we identify the exact pairs of utility and ambiguity functions that permit myopic decision rules.

Abstract The clustering in time (seriality) of extratropical cyclones is responsible for large cumulative insured losses in western Europe, though surprisingly little scientific attention has been given to this important property. This study investigates and quantifies the seriality of extratropical cyclones in the Northern Hemisphere using a point-process approach. A possible mechanism for serial clustering is the time-varying effect of the large-scale flow on individual cyclone tracks. Another mechanism is the generation by one “parent” cyclone of one or more “offspring” through secondary cyclogenesis. A long cyclone-track database was constructed for extended October–March winters from 1950 to 2003 using 6-h analyses of 850-mb relative vorticity derived from the NCEP–NCAR reanalysis. A dispersion statistic based on the variance-to-mean ratio of monthly cyclone counts was used as a measure of clustering. It reveals extensive regions of statistically significant clustering in the European exit region of the North Atlantic storm track and over the central North Pacific. Monthly cyclone counts were regressed on time-varying teleconnection indices with a log-linear Poisson model. Five independent teleconnection patterns were found to be significant factors over Europe: the North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO), the east Atlantic pattern, the Scandinavian pattern, the east Atlantic–western Russian pattern, and the polar–Eurasian pattern. The NAO alone is not sufficient for explaining the variability of cyclone counts in the North Atlantic region and western Europe. Rate dependence on time-varying teleconnection indices accounts for the variability in monthly cyclone counts, and a cluster process did not need to be invoked.

Abstract In this paper we provide various properties of Rad-⊕-supplemented modules. In particular, we prove that a projective module M is Rad- ⊕-supplemented if and only if M is ⊕-supplemented, and then we show that a commutative ring R is an artinian serial ring if and only if every left R-module is Rad-⊕-supplemented. Moreover, every left R-module has the property (P*) if and only if R is an artinian serial ring and J2 = 0, where J is the Jacobson radical of R. Finally, we show that every Rad-supplemented module is Rad-⊕-supplemented over dedekind domains.

GPS information collecting and processing is an important part of the navigation and positioning system. Through the establishment of cross-compiler environment, using the ARM processor S3C2440A and Linux operating systems as the hardware and software platform and the GS87 is used as GPS receiver module, the NMEA-0183 communications protocol and serial asynchronous communication between the ARM platform and GS87 module are analyzed. Through the serial port programming, GPS information collecting and processing system is realized. By querying the GPRMC statement and the corresponding conversion, the useful information is separated. The final practice has proved that the system data is of high precision, real-time property and good practical value.

In this article, a new approach based on the copula theory is employed in the analysis and forecasting of hospitality and tourism-related stock return volatility (HTSRV). The application of copula-based models for univariate time series is state-of the-art methodologies with new perspectives for economic analysis in tourism and hospitality. This flexible method provides numerous functions for serial dependence specification of volatility series. Eight hospitality–tourism stocks are analyzed for their serial dependence structures to provide insight for forecasting stock return volatility. While the forecasting performance between our chosen copulas and benchmark models is inconclusive, the empirical results show that copulas well specify both linear and nonlinear serial dependence structures, which lead to forecasting results as good as or even better than those of the benchmark models. This property allows us to use copulas for HTSRV forecasting without the concern of model misspecification.

Image corrected cephalometric analysis (ICCA) Is a method for eliminating serial image parallax error. In a radiographic survey, image parallax is an inherent and random property of the two-dimensional Image of the subject. Radiographs of the same subject taken at different times will be different in image parallax. This difference, parallax error, is routinely displayed between serial radiographic studies. Parallax error discourages the use of conventional serial cephalometric surveys for tracking and studying changes in discrete craniofacial structures lying outside the midsagittal plane, unilaterally disposed, or changing without bilateral symmetry. Anatomic outlines or discrete points of such structures would routinely display measurement perturbations caused by image parallax differences between surveys. The ICCA method eliminates this problem. Therefore, accurate serial measurements of bone marker point displacements are made possible with two-dimensional reconstructions of points lying in three-dimensional space. The method of ICCA was tested for accuracy by using zero time serial cephalometric surveys of five subjects. Mean implant error of 0.12 mm (SD = 0.1) was found between predicted (ICCA) and actual measured Implant movement caused by the image parallax error. After applying this method, bone marker movements are unlikely to be caused by parallax error between conventional serial cephalometric studies. Furthermore, displacement growth can be related to the relocation of composite growth outlines and midline anatomic landmarks. One plagiocephaly case and one hemifacial microsomia case were used to demonstrate ICCA for growth and treatment effect documentation.

Abstract. Extended reality (XR) mobile guide applications offer unprecedented potential for immersive visitor experiences and in-depth knowledge retention to promote cultural learning at large-scale heritage sites, but, despite their significant development, the literature underexplores these applications for World Heritage sites, especially the serial properties that are spatially dispersed in various locations but configured as a single property. This paper describes a framework (blueprint) for the development of an XR mobile guide application focused on serial properties. By incorporating interactive XR and edutainment features, it explores a way to comprehensively reveal the interconnections between the heritage attributes of the subcomponent of the serial properties and their larger, cross-cultural context vis-à-vis the Outstanding Universal Values. To this end, at the Seowon, the UNESCO World Heritage site in Korea, we analyzed user interactions with a prototype of the XR application to identify user preferences and areas for improving the framework.

Needleman-Wunsch dynamic programming algorithm measures the similarity of the pairwise sequence and finds the optimal pair given the number of sequences. The task becomes nontrivial as the number of sequences to compare or the length of sequences increases. This research aims to parallelize the computation involved in the algorithm to speed up the performance using CUDA. However, there is a data dependency issue due to the property of a dynamic programming algorithm. As a solution, this research introduces the heterogeneous anti-diagonal approach, which benefits from the interaction between the serial implementation on CPU and the parallel implementation on GPU. We then measure and compare the computation time between the proposed approach and a straightforward serial approach that uses CPU only. Measurements of computation times are performed under the same experimental setup and using various pairwise sequences at different lengths. The experiment showed that the proposed approach outperforms the serial method in terms of computation time by approximately three times. Moreover, the computation time of the proposed heterogeneous anti-diagonal approach increases gradually despite the big increments in sequence length, whereas the computation time of the serial approach grows rapidly.

Research background M&A (Mergers and acquisitions) is a strategic measure for enterprises to expand their scale, enhance their competitiveness and improve productivity in the market competition. As a new factor of production, data is changing the factor input model and value creation path of enterprises. Research objectives From the perspective of serial M&A, this study explores the impact of serial M&A on enterprises’ TFP (total factor productivity) and the mechanism of digital transformation between them. Research methods Take the serial M&A transactions of China’s A-share listed companies from 2010 to 2019 as samples, using the theory of organizational learning to analyze the relationship among serial M&A, enterprises’ TFP and the degree of digital transformation. Three-step regression is used to construct a model that serial M&A indirectly affects enterprises’ TFP through intermediary variable digital transformation. Research finding There is a significant inverse U-shaped relationship between serial M&A and enterprises’ TFP, and digital transformation plays a mediating role in this relationship. The impact of serial M&A on enterprises’ TFP shows an upward trend at first and then a downward trend and this relationship is indirectly realized through digital transformation. The results are still valid after considering the change-explained variables, lag test, Sobel-Goodman test, and Bootstrap test. Heterogeneity analysis shows that for enterprises with non-state-owned property rights, smaller enterprise scale, and higher business environment index, serial M&A has a more obvious effect on TFP indirectly through the degree of digital transformation. Research value It further enriches the existing literature on the decision-making of M&A from the perspective of serial M&A and profoundly reveals the mechanism of the degree of digital transformation in the relationship between serial M&A and enterprises’ TFP. The research provides theoretical support and empirical evidence for enterprises to achieve high-quality development.

A remarkable correlation between chaotic systems and cryptography has been established with sensitivity to initial states, unpredictability, and complex behaviors. In one development, stages of a chaotic stream cipher are applied to a discrete chaotic dynamic system for the generation of pseudorandom bits. Some of these generators are based on 1D chaotic map and others on 2D ones. In the current study, a pseudorandom bit generator (PRBG) based on a new 2D chaotic logistic map is proposed that runs side-by-side and commences from random independent initial states. The structure of the proposed model consists of the three components of a mouse input device, the proposed 2D chaotic system, and an initial permutation (IP) table. Statistical tests of the generated sequence of bits are investigated by applying five evaluations as well as the ACF and NIST. The results of five standard tests of randomness have been illustrated and overcome a value of 0.160 in frequency test. While the run test presents the pass value t0=4.769 and t1=2.929. Likewise, poker test and serial test the outcomes was passed with 3.520 for poker test, and 4.720 for serial test. Finally, autocorrelation test passed in all shift numbers from 1 to 10.

The term “Transnational Serial Property” generally refers to expansive World Heritage sites, which extend across the territory of two or three UNESCO Convention member states. Transnational serial properties provide various cultural and natural qualities as well as a number of local, regional and national series of nominations in World Heritage. Serial Nominations consist of more components that developed jointly in cultural connections. Each individual element is not only in unique universal value, but also the series as whole have the cultural integrity. However, in today’s world, the speed of globalization creates severe problems on World Heritage areas such that the current trends unfortunately suggest an increasing depreciation through existing cultural heritage. There are numerous potential Transnational Serial World Heritage properties in Turkey, many of existing cultural routes. At this point, by highlighting the need for re-evaluation of traces of the Roman Empire as a Transnational Serial architectural heritage, this paper explains the critical discussion of World Heritage areas which should be evaluated as a Serial Transnational Architectural Heritage. An example of this is the Via Egnatia, a road constructed by the Romans in the 2nd century BC, was the first Roman highway to be built east of the Adriatic. It passes through the Roman provinces of Illyricum, Macedonia, and Thrace, running through territory that is now part of modern Albania, the Republic of Macedonia, Greece, and European Turkey. The research study aims to provide a framework for the Transnational Serial World Heritage properties in general and mainly focuses on traces of the Roman Empire and cultural routes. Within the context of the cultural routes, Via Egnatia and the need for evaluation as a serial hybrid heritage by concerning preservation of historical, archeological and other values will be discussed. This study investigates the fundamental role of collaboration in promoting a culture of continuous innovation in companies, driving them to become serial innovators, as evidenced by their industrial property registrations. Furthermore, it explores, in an innovative way, how various factors, such as the level of technological advancement in the sector, government support for innovation, investments in research and development, the degree of international involvement, and the level of education of employees, influence the probability of a company achieving the status of serial innovator. Based on data extracted from CIS reports spanning from 2012 to 2018, this research employs Logit models to explore the relationship between these variables. The findings clarify the positive impact of collaboration on a company’s ability to sustain innovation over time, thereby establishing itself as a serial innovator. The promotion of collaborative networks and partnerships with external entities, such as partner companies, research institutions, and government organizations, emerges as a powerful strategy for promoting innovation in organizational contexts. Furthermore, the study reveals the critical roles played by public support for innovation, the educational level of the workforce, and investments in R&D in increasing companies’ innovation capabilities. These factors contribute to increasing a company’s propensity for innovation and increasing its likelihood to become a serial innovator. A qualified and educated workforce is known to have the skills and knowledge required to actively engage in innovative activities, thus positioning companies as serial innovators.

The proposed technical solution described in this article points to the need for deploying the advanced functions of vision systems to achieve the relevant computing power in the form of CCD cameras. It is expected to be used in a real-life automated consisting of, among others, a standard industrial robot. Here the starting point of the manufacturing process is the automatic selection and detection of arbitrarily oriented objects. In addition to the above, the article aims to point out the current progress in this area and draw attention to comparative methods within advanced camera systems. The resulting topics will gradually introduce us to the field of advanced image processing, where the use of functions such as object reconstruction or property estimation is assumed.

A new 4 DOF parallel mechanism with serial input limb is presented ——2UPS-RPU parallel mechanism, the limb with serial input is a less contrained active branched-chain,the number of its DOF is less than six,that is to say,the limbs not only transmitting driving force but also constraint force at the same time.Compared with traditional parallel mechanisms,the mechanism with serial input has greater number of DOF than the number of limbs and don’t lose the property of parallel mechanism. The inverse solutions to positions of the mechanism are modeled by inverse kinematic analysis in this paper, then the constraint conditions are established according to factors influencing the workspace of parallel mechanism,such as the limits of the hinge angle and the parallel link length.The workspace of 2UPS-RPU parallel mechanism can be obtained by using exetreme-boundary numerical algorithm in Matlab,the volume of workspace can be quantified by means of computation,and analyzing the impact of rod length ,circumradius of moving and fixed platform and motion pair rotation angle on the workspace.

The red clay in Kunming New Airport had negative effect, such as more settlement, the differential settlement, the poor property of compactness and water content too difficult to control during construction. Therefore, there were a serial in situ tests for the red clay foundation: (1) the red clay foundation was treated by the dynamic consolidation method(DCM) with cushion and the gravel pile method, then the embankment of red clay, (2)the natural foundation of red clay was filled directly by red clay and Douposi highly weathered material as the embankment material. Their deformation and pore water pressure rules of natural red clay foundation, foundations treated by DCM and gravel pile were obtained on the condition of high embankment by monitoring of settlement, horizontal displacement and pore water pressure. Test results showed that (1)during the embankment construction period, the settlement of DCM test region was maximum, the gravel pile test region second, the natural foundation of red clay was minimum.(2) the low velocity of layered horizontal displacement indicated that the slope was stable. (3) the increasing and dissipation of pore water pressure was accordance with the embankment history. (4) because it was on the embankment construction period, the monitoring data just reflected the deformation rule in the initial stage of loading.

Gravity step-casting experiments were performed to investigate process-structure-property relationships in three different die-cast magnesium alloys – AM60, AZ91 and AE44. The step-cast mold was instrumented to capture temperature profiles of the solidification of molten magnesium. This paper investigates the structure-property relationships of these magnesium alloys, specifically the dependence of the fracture properties upon the porosity that forms during the casting process. Sixteen tensile specimens were cut from the step-casting perpendicular to the solidification front, for each alloy examined. Correlations from X-ray tomography data were used to estimate the maximum area fraction of porosity from the average volumetric porosity in the specimens, assuming a typical size and spatial distribution of porosity. This relationship can be used in the absence of more accurate measure of porosity (i.e. serial sectioning, computed x-ray tomography). A failure model for die-cast alloys – which depends upon the strain-hardening coefficient and the maximum area fraction of porosity in the specimen – was used to predict fracture strains for each specimen. The experimental tensile elongation of each specimen was compared with predicted values. The resulting mechanical properties determined from these cast magnesium alloys will be used to develop process-structure-property relationships.

According to the method of semi-immersion in 5% sodium sulfate solution, the property against sulfate attack of cement-based materials with various compositions are studied with the indexes of the amount of crystal salt in unit exposing area and the ratio of total mass change. The experiment indicates that the order of mortar with w/c=0.4 against sulfate attack from high to low are SAC 42.5>PO 42.5>Clinker>HAC 42.5. When w/b is constant and the cement was replaced by the same quantity of salic material, the order of mortar against sulfate attack are Clinker> PO 42.5> SAC 42.5> HAC 42.5. The replacement of SAC and HAC with the same quantity of salic material leads to the sharp decrease of its property against sulfate attack while the result is opposite for the clinker serial and PO 42.5 serial. Addition of redispersible polymer powder can lead to decrease of penetration and increase the properties of products to sulfate attack. Then, it comes to the conclusion that multi-binder with PO.42.5cement 70%–80% (quality percentage), and internal mixing of 5%–10% silica fume, 10%–15% fly ash can meet the high corrosion resistance requirements.

As a numerical tool for examining the microstructural fracture behavior in the smart and intelligent materials, a finite element method with the interface element was developed and the applicability of this method was studied through the serial computations using virtual polycrystalline models. As the results assuming the influence of grain orientation on the grain boundary, it was found that the anisotropic mechanical property of grain boundary (interaction between opening and slipping deformations) would be a dominant factor of the fracture process. Also, by employing the theory of crystal plasticity for the mechanical property of grain, it was revealed that the stress concentrations caused by both the mismatch between neighbor grains and the slipping at grain boundary could be demonstrated by using this method.

Rough set theory is an important tool for data mining. Lower and upper approximation operators are two important basic concepts in the rough set theory. The classical Pawlak rough approximation operators are based on equivalence relations and have been extended to relation-based generalized rough approximation operators. This paper presents topological properties of a pair of relation-based generalized rough approximation operators. A topology is induced by the pair of generalized rough approximation operators from an inverse serial relation. Then, connectedness, countability, separation property and Lindel?f property of the topological space are discussed. The results are not only beneficial to obtain more properties of the pair of approximation operators, but also have theoretical and actual significance to general topology.

Therefore, the existing serial-number-based device trees can no longer meet continuous increasing management requirements, which necessitates a new device tree system. This paper has proposed a new device tree system for rail transit. Based on the physical locations of rail transit devices, the system proposed can associate the location information with property information, equipment serial number, and fault trees. Hence a subway vehicle and fault management system based on device trees was established. Based on the actual situation and management requirements of the Vehicle Branch, this paper has developed a location-based device tree management system and coding scheme, and introduced its advantages in management.

While recent research has illustrated the frequency and deleterious consequences of eviction, the number of executed evictions pales in comparison to the number of poor families threatened with eviction. This paper uses interviews with 127 randomly sampled landlords and property managers in Baltimore, Dallas, and Cleveland to examine their strategies related to eviction, with a focus on the extended process of evicting rather than the discrete instance of eviction. We find that landlords generally try to avoid costly evictions, instead relying on the serial threat of eviction. By redefining renters as debtors, filing assists in rent collection by leveraging the state to materially and symbolically support the landlord's debt collection. At the same time, housing tenants in small amounts of arrearage aggravates the power imbalance within the landlord–tenant relationship. It gives landlords the legal pretext to remove a tenant for any reason and prevents tenants from exercising their legal rights regarding code enforcement. These findings emphasize the importance of examining the precarious and power–laden relationship of landlords and tenants while they are still in residence. Poor families live under constant threat of eviction, facing housing insecurity, fees, and legal sanction, with negative impacts for their sense of home and community.

Drawing on Harvey’s capital switching thesis, this study develops a heterodox approach from a crucial perspective to China’s post-2016 nationwide property boom. We trace the roots of this suburban property boom to the 2008 global financial crisis and investigate its nature as a solution to China’s post-2008 overaccumulation crisis. By scrutinising the serial policies formed at the central level, we unpack the continuous endeavours of the state in channelling excessive capital into city building and sustaining capital circulation in and out of land. Next, using Jiangyou as a case study and adopting Harvey’s theorisation of making the suburban property boom a state-mediated sociopolitical process to enable the realisation of surplus value in the secondary circuit of capital, we reveal why and how the local state collaborated with the central state, financial institutions and developers to create the suburban property boom. This study presents the actually existing secondary circuit of capital that occurred outside the Western context and in contemporary postcrisis capitalism and develops a state-centric approach to the secondary circuit of capital by bridging regulationist state theory and capital switch theory.

This paper presents a novel miniature robotic arm with four degrees of freedom and one end-effector. The two joints of the robotic arm are multiple-segment, which consist of several serial plates with tiny cavities. Kinematic modeling of the robotic arm has been completed for subsequent implementation. With multiple-segment joints, the robotic arm gets smooth, linear, and flexible property. Simulations and experiments show that the robot can be used in abdominal single-port minimally invasive surgery for its unique operation capability.

Selain mereka, musik-musik India juga menjadi pengaruh besar yang digunakan pada film-film Bollywood. Sejarah musik dangdut dimulai pada tahun 1968. Genre musik ini sangat populer karena vokal dan instrumennya yang melodis, terutama tabla. Namun, masyarakat ada yang belum suka musik dangdut. Terutama para generasi muda dari umur 18 sampai 25 yang lebih menyukai musik barat yang bergenre pop atau electronic. Dengan adanya Intellectual Property (IP) untuk musik dangdut, masyarakat mau mencoba mendengar musik dangdut. Dari masalah tersebut, tujuan dari perancangan visual ini adalah untuk memancing warga Indonesia supaya lebih sering mendengar musik dangdut. Untuk menghasilkan desain yang disukai orang-orang, maka dibutuhkan penelitian secara metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif dalam hal desain, pendapat tentang musik dangdut dan barang yang digunakan sehari-hari. Hasil dari riset ini adalah IP dengan desain berdasarkan musik dangdut yang disukai orang-orang untuk animasi serial.

Because of the efficient tradeoff in area–time complexities, digit-serial systolic multiplier over G F ( 2 m ) has gained substantial attention in the research community for possible application in current/emerging cryptosystems. In general, this type of multiplier is designed to be applicable to one certain field-size, which in fact determines the actual security level of the cryptosystem and thus limits the flexibility of the operation of cryptographic applications. Based on this consideration, in this paper, we propose a novel hybrid-size digit-serial systolic multiplier which not only offers flexibility to operate in either pentanomial- or trinomial-based multiplications, but also has low-complexity implementation performance. Overall, we have made two interdependent efforts to carry out the proposed work. First, a novel algorithm is derived to formulate the mathematical idea of the hybrid-size realization. Then, a novel digit-serial structure is obtained after efficient mapping from the proposed algorithm. Finally, the complexity analysis and comparison are given to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed multiplier, e.g., the proposed one has less area-delay product (ADP) than the best existing trinomial-based design. The proposed multiplier can be used as a standard intellectual property (IP) core in many cryptographic applications for flexible operation.

We ask whether there is a “macro-event phrase,” a uniform level of syntax at which complex scenarios may be described as single events under the Macro-Event Property (MEP). The MEP is a form-meaning mapping property that constrains the compatibility of event descriptions with time-positional modifiers. An examination of English infinitival complements, Ewe serial verb constructions, and Japanese converb constructions suggests that the putative crosslinguistic “macro-event phrase” is the verbal core of the Layered Structure of the Clause theory of Role and Reference Grammar. Across languages, simple cores necessarily have the MEP, whereas complex cores have it if and only if they are integrated by ‘cosubordinate’ nexus, defined as a symmetric union of two cores that together behave like a single core. We furthermore argue that this connection between core cosubordinations and the MEP may help explain why cosubordinate cores seem to always share an argument through control.

Abstract. This paper presents the output decoupling property of planar flexure-based compliant mechanisms with symmetric configuration. Compliance/stiffness modeling methods for flexure serial structures and flexure parallel structures are first derived according to the matrix method. Analytical model of mechanisms with symmetric configuration is then developed to analyze the output decoupling property. The proposed analytical model shows that mechanisms are output decoupled when they are symmetry about two perpendicular axes or when they are composed of either three or an even number of identical fundamental forms distributed evenly around the center. Finally, output compliances of RRR and 4-RRR compliant micro-motion stages are derived from the analytical model and finite element analysis (FEA). The comparisons indicate that the results obtained from the proposed analytical model are in good agreement with those derived from FEA, which validates the proposed analytical model.

For multi crystal materials, particularly multi-crystal metallic materials, it is unavoidable to make its crystal orientation change during the process. For instance, improving the property of soft magnetic materials should rely on the Cubic texture {100} <001>, but the property of the deep-draw sheet materials is closely related to its texture. Besides the material's composition, the crystal and the microstructure, the texture also takes a very important role in the properties of the materials [1, 2]. The positive pole figure analytic method is comparatively simple and intuitional. This is unquestionable in the texture analysis of cold-rolled samples, as in drawing sheet materials. It shows that the material orientation of isotropy or multiple weak textured materials is coexistent. The ODF analysis can be a good method for resolving this. In the study, the serial ODF analysis is used to analyze the property of nickel based alloys of drawing sheet materials considering different deformation amount, annealing temperature and annealing time in layers. In practice, it can be applied to production techniques.

Nonlinear behavior seems to be the rule rather than exception in nature, so the progressing in security and cryptography scope is very wide needed in the world.Problem: Cryptographically, there is potential needs to produce the nonlinear products or to complicate the linear system constrains to be as nonlinear system.Problem Solving:Hence, to solve this problem a new nonlinear scheme for general-purpose pseudorandom number generator (Implementing a New Serial Control as Nonlinear Function for Key Stream Pseudo-Random Number Generator) is presented by this research which comprises two parts; the traditional part, as a combination of LFSR, and a serial part as suggested part comprising a new approach of high complexity performance to meet standard cryptographic criteria.Results: practically, a strong cryptographic key stream pseudo-random number generator was obtained in this research which provides a substantial increase of complex nonlinearities, leads to the best development of randomness statistical property output sequences, passed all statistical tests successfully, and has large linear equivalence to prevent correlation attacks.

Korean Wave, also known as Hallyu, is a popular culture of South Korean entertainment industry such as music, movie, serial drama, webtoon, and etc. These contents are protected as part of intellectual property, especially copyrights. But, their popularities come with infringement action, where pirated sites show South Korean movies and drama without any permission from the copyright holder. This study aims to explain South Korea’s effort to protect these Korean Wave contents. The framework used in this research are the intellectual property concept, especially copyrights, the globalization concept, and the sovereignty concept (Westphalian System). The globalization concept tries to analyze its effort to protect Korean Wave. This study uses a qualitative research method with the type of descriptive research, data obtained through literature study. This research shows that South Korea pretty success in tackling copyrights issues, though they still can’t solve it thoroughly.

The interaction between projects and servers has grown significantly in complexity; thus, applying parallel calculations increases dramatically. However, it should not be ignored that parallel processing gives rise to synchronization constraints and delays, generating penalty costs that may overshadow the savings obtained from parallel processing. Motivated by this trade-off, this study investigates two special and symmetric systems of split–join structures: (i) parallel structure and (ii) serial structure. In a parallel structure, the project arrives, splits into m parallel groups (subprojects), each comprising n subsequent stages, and ends after all groups are completed. In the serial structure, the project requires synchronization after each stage. Employing a numerical study, we investigates the time profile of the project by focusing on two types of delays: delay due to synchronization overhead (occurring due to the parallel structure), and delay due to overloaded servers (occurring due to the serial structure). In particular, the author studies the effect of the number of stages, the number of groups, and the utilization of the servers on the time profile and performance of the system. Further, this study shows the efficiency of lower and upper bounds for the mean sojourn time. The results show that the added time grows logarithmically with m (parallelism) and linearly with n (seriality) in both structures. However, comparing the two types of split–join structures shows that the synchronization overhead grows logarithmically undr both parallelism and seriality; this yields an unexpected duality property of the added time to the serial system.

The stress analysis model of sliding vane which is the critical element in a compressor is put forward and dynamic analysis of the sliding vane has been done by Mat lab in this treatise. Through analysis and computation the forces transformation ranges of sliding vane in serial production are got out and variety regularities of forces are analyzed. Based on forced analysis frictional efficiency is analyzed and imitated. The relationship of compressor’s main design parameters with frictional efficiency is searched out. The results are significant for property analysis and optimization of compressor.

Oscar Wilde was both an aficionado and a practitioner of literary crime. Most notoriously, his 1886 notes for a lecture on Thomas Chatterton are largely plagiarized from two biographies about the poet. Wilde's plagiarism and self-plagiarism have formerly been understood as coded expressions of nonliterary transgressions, as roundabout forms of self-promotion, and as the result of the time pressures of a professional writer. In this essay I propose that we understand Wilde's fascination with and commission of literary crime not only in light of his professed socialism but also through his well-known preference for talk over writing. By appropriating, recirculating, and donating language within literary circles, Wilde set up within a private print culture the lineaments of primary orality that he had encountered through his parents' ethnographic studies of the nonliterate rural Irish. In promulgating these oral dynamics of circulation, Wilde helped construct primary orality as the irrecuperable other of literate culture. But he also participated in a growing counterdiscourse to private literary-property law, particularly the conventions of individual and serial ownership proper to copyright, that were becoming consolidated in late-Victorian England. While the Chatterton lecture notes work partly to consecrate literary crime as a creative act, Wilde's story "The Portrait of Mr. W. H." (1889) warns that when ideas circulate like private property, they lose the power to unite their holders in a shared belief.

Establishing accurate structure–property linkages and precise phase volume accuracy in 3D microstructure reconstruction of materials remains challenging, particularly with limited samples. This paper presents an optimized method for reconstructing 3D microstructures of various materials, including isotropic and anisotropic types with two and three phases, using convolutional occupancy networks and point clouds from inner layers of the microstructure. The method emphasizes precise phase representation and compatibility with point cloud data. A stage within the Quality of Connection Function (QCF) repetition loop optimizes the weights of the convolutional occupancy networks model to minimize error between the microstructure’s statistical properties and the reconstructive model. This model successfully reconstructs 3D representations from initial 2D serial images. Comparisons with screened Poisson surface reconstruction and local implicit grid methods demonstrate the model’s efficacy. The developed model proves suitable for high-quality 3D microstructure reconstruction, aiding in structure–property linkages and finite element analysis.

A mathematical model of the serial combat (training) aircraft cost which is a formalised dependence’s price of one serial aircraft product on the values of its training and combat properties has been constructed. These quality indicators, in their turn, are known coefficients quantitatively characterising the product quality as a complex product property of satisfying consumer needs in the relative scale’s measurement of the corresponding aircraft type properties selected as a reference. That is, the factor space of the constructed model initial data includes the coefficient of the aircraft adaptability for flight training of cadets, characterizing the training properties of the aircraft and the coefficients of combat aircraft potential to destroy ground (surface) targets and aerial targets, characterizing the combat properties of the aircraft.
The built model takes into account the impact of aircraft technology development on the cost of the aircraft as well as the effect of inflation factors. The performance of the built model was verified by the criteria of accuracy in describing the available statistical material sample and the accuracy in describing the trends in the dependence of a serial product’s cost on its quality indicators known from the world practice. The results of the model performance check were satisfactory which makes it possible to recommend the built model for estimating the cost of modern aircraft at prices in US dollars, fixed at the rate of fiscal year 2020.

The solvothermal reactions of C3-symmerical 4,4 ′ ,4 ′ -nitrilotribenzoic acid and MnCl2 afforded a novel Mn(II) compound, and its formula is [Mn3(TCA)2(e-urea)2(DMA)2]n·n(urea)·n(DMA) (1, H3TCA=4,4 ′ ,4 ′ -nitrilotribenzoic acid, e-urea=2-imidazaolidone, DMA=N,N ′ -dimethylacetamide). Magnetic property investigation of 1 indicates weak antiferromagnetic mutual effects exist between neighboring Mn(II) ions. Serial biological tests were adopted to discover new compound activity. Firstly, the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was conducted to measure the content of inflammatory cytokines released into the synovial fluid. In addition, we also studied adenosine 5 ′ -monophosphate- (AMP-) activated protein kinase (AMPK) inflammatory signaling pathway activation through real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
