This Diploma thesis is focused on the Internet marketing tools, which are suitable for the Company aimed at selling consumable goods. These Internet marketing tools are applied within Zoot Company. Diploma thesis is divided in two logical parts, theoretical and practical. Individual tools are introduced and intimately analysed in theoretical part. For all mentioned tools, there is a definition of their advantages, description of the process, how to manage those tools, the process models and the description of the tools for their evaluation. The practical part is based on the theoretical part. This part contains the analysis of the Zoot Company and its competitors and the analysis of Zoot's usage of the Internet marketing tools defined in theoretical part. The end of the practical part contains recommendations, how to improve the Internet marketing tools management. Main benefit of the theoretical part is the framework of Internet marketing tools, which are suitable for the Company aimed at selling consumable goods and their process adaptation. The benefit of the practical part is the intimate analysis of Zoot Company and its usage of the Internet marketing tools from theoretical part together with recommendations how to improve the Internet marketing tools management.

This diploma thesis treats of affiliate marketing in the Czech Republic and is divided up into two parts.The first, the theoretical one, is about explaining of affiliate marketing in general, historical milestones of affiliate marketing, affiliate networks, affiliate programs, but also about online and offline marketing and other affiliate marketing related terms. The own part of work includes a survey results researching awareness of affiliate marketing among respondents and their perceiving of online advertising, then SWOT matrixs identifying of strenghts, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of affiliate marketing as for merchants as for partners. At least but not last there are explored affiliate softwares for smaller merchants and also costs of affiliate marketing in the first year and consequently reviewed and eventually selected the best possible option for czech market.

In the theoretical part the notion affiliate marketing is characterized and fundamental subjects of affiliate marketing are defined. This thesis focuses on inclusion of affiliate marketing to internet marketing as a contemporary modern tool for acquiring new customers in the online market and on analysis of the system solution for conversion tracking at eHUB.cz Ltd. The thesis is divided into three parts: the first part presents the general overview of affiliate marketing, the second section analyzes the current state of the conversion tracking system at eHUB.cz Ltd. and the third proposes an optimal solution for the future status of this system. Theoretical level corresponds to the first part and a practical second and third. The theoretical part clarifies the position of affiliate marketing within online marketing, including basic knowledge and relationships that are necessary for proceeding to the practical part. The practical part contains a description of the original and current technical solutions of system eHUB. At the same time suggests its optimization for a future state. The main objective is to find a precise definition of the current standards of conversion tracking system solutions in eHUB.cz Ltd. The main contribution of this work is the usability of the optimal technical solution at eHUB.cz Ltd.

The aim of this thesis is to describe in detail the current ways of optimizing websites for search engines (SEO) and to apply them in a broader marketing strategy of italian restaurant La Casa Degli Amici. The thesis presents evidence about the importance of SEO for marketing and can be used as a template for optimizing you own website. This thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains the concepts used in the design and implementation of the practical part. The theoretical part considers 3 main subjects - search engine, users and SEO which represents website creation and optimization. This thesis describes the history of search engines and the way search engines analyze and evaluate a website. It also describes user search strategies and the way users read the search results. In the SEO section we show its advantages, brief history, SEO strategies and description of techniques and tools that can be used for SEO. In the practical part we put together a marketing strategy which consists of website creation, implementation of selected SEO techniques and social network marketing. Implementation of the marketing strategy is evaluated on data obtained during the period between 1. 8. 2016 and 31. 11. 2016. Owner of the restaurant has provided data on sales which were used for overall evaluation of implemented marketing strategy.

The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) industry has recently undergone major changes. Many new analytics tools have been put on the market enabling marketing consultants to be finally able to measure and evaluate the results of their work in SEO effectively. The theoretical part of this diploma thesis therefore aims to describe and compare selected SEO tools including practical examples of their use. The paper is focused on backlink databases (MajesticSEO, SEOmoz OpenSiteExplorer and Ahrefs) and keyword suggestion tools from Google (AdWords), Seznam (Sklik), Wordtracker and SEMRush. The final chapter provides an overview of search engine positions tracking tools and techniques. The practical part describes the method of selection, preparation and processing of data obtained from tools mentioned above. The data are used to compute correlation analysis of Seznam.cz search engine results in relation with the best known SEO factors. The results of the analysis will help marketing consultants to clarify which factors are the most important to focus on to obtain more traffic from search engines.

Although the measurement of offline and online marketing is extensively researched, the area of online performance measurement still presents a number of unaddressed gaps, such as fragmented research and predominance of practitioner-driven measurement approaches. With a focus on affiliate marketing in tourism and hospitality, this thesis addressed these gaps and evaluates the effectiveness of practitioner-led online performance assessment. More precisely, the study explores a potential shift in affiliate marketing measurement practices, and develops a theory of affiliate marketing performances measurement in tourism and hospitality. Relying on a grounded theory research strategy, the work undertakes qualitative analysis of 72 online forum discussions, 37 interviews and 40 questionnaires with the major affiliate marketing stakeholder groups from the tourism and hospitality industry - merchants, affiliates, affiliate networks and affiliate agencies. The findings of the thesis add value to both theory and practice. The theoretical contribution of the research is twofold. First, the work furthers the broader marketing theory and in particular the distribution and promotion literature by exploring an under-researched online marketing channel - affiliate marketing - that can be employed for both promotion and distribution purposes. The study provides a detailed description of an affiliate marketing ecosystem and defines the key affiliate marketing constructs. Second, the work contributes to the performance measurement research by developing a substantiative theory of affiliate marketing performance measurement in tourism and hospitality. From the practitioner perspective, the work brings value by proposing a change in existing performance measurement practices and offering a process-oriented model of performance measurement in affiliate marketing, which details the phases and steps that managers can undertake in assessing performance. To further the findings, future research can explore the applicability of the proposed model to other industry sectors and online channels, and can develop the proposed substantive theory to a formal theory by employing other research methods, for example case studies and action research.

Актуальність теми роботи полягає у необхідності обґрунтування значного впливу на конкурентоспроможність позицій у цифровому середовищі, яка посилилась у зв’язку з пандемією COVID-19. Метою кваліфікаційної роботи є дослідження можливостей SEO та його впливу, як інструмента інтернет-маркетингу, на забезпечення конкурентоспроможності підприємств в цифровому середовищі. Завдання роботи: проаналізувати сучасні дослідження в галузі інтернетмаркетингу та пошукової оптимізації; виявити актуальність інструменту SEO, як такого, що здатен привести нових клієнтів та збільшити впізнаваність організації через сайт; здійснити оцінку SEO стану аналізованого сайту за основними критеріями; надати оцінку потенційного збільшення трафіку на сайт Сумського державного університету в результаті застосування пошукової оптимізації. Об’єктом дослідження є використання інструменту інтернет-маркетингу SEO. Предметом дослідження є теоретичні та методичні засади застосування SEO організаціями з сайтом. Методи дослідження – аналіз і синтез, статистичний аналіз, порівняльний аналіз. Наукова новизна дослідженя: складено розширений алгоритм проведення SEО-аналізу сайту, на відмінну від існуючих більш вузькоспеціалізованих, який охоплює всі основні складові, від аналізу портрету цільової аудиторії до аналізу маси зворотніх посилань. Практична значущість дослідження полягає у виявленні помилок на сайті Сумського державного університету в процесі аналізу, які зменшують авторитет веб-ресурсу в очах пошукових роботів. Виявлені помилки автоматично є практичними рекомендаціями щодо покращення позицій сайту.

The thesis is dealing with information technologies with an emphasis on the Internet, Internet marketing and its special regions of SEO, SEM and PPC, which mutual comparison makes the focal point of my work. The theoretical part is a successive analysis of the influences of the Internet marketing, SEM and SEO. Then, it states and explains the particular items the optimization of searchers is based upon. The following parts contain the analysis and questionnaires that are related to the region of the searchers. The theoretical part is concluded with an explanation of the principle of the PPC advertising systems and gives a description of the two most widely used ones -- Sklik and AdWords. The practical part starts with an application of the particular theoretical knowledge on the real examples of some websites. This is followed by two practical examples of websites (a standard one and an e-shop) that draw comparison between the PPC advertising and optimization of searchers. The evaluation at the end of the thesis shows the conditions worth using SEO, and, on the contrary, the cases when using of the PPC advertising campaigns would be more preferable. The desired outcome of my thesis would be to help assess the conditions when the right and quality SEO application is or is not the right choice among the other brands of Internet marketing; and give an example of how cheaper (or more expensive) than the PPC advertising campaigns the optimization could be.

The subject of my diploma thesis is internet marketing. Due to its complexity, the thesis focus mainly on online advertisement, primarily to PPC campaigns. The thesis provides summary of PPC advertisement itself, their rules and also the whole structure of campaigns, keywords etc. The same concept is used for social network Facebook and its advertisement. The target is to point out the importance of both approaches and also to show the main differences between them. These findings are used for practical part, where the real PPC and Facebook campaigns are put into practice for selected institution. The target of this work is to use the findings from literatury research in the real case scenario. The main objectives of this work are the assessment of the current state of online marketing of the Language centre Laurus, evaluation of the effectiveness of used communication channels, and recommendations leading to higher commercial success of the web pages. The theoretical part consists of three blocks. The first chapter is devoted to web sites, information architecture, usability and accessibility. The next chapter introduces the possibility of building traffic on web pages, and the third part consists of analysis of the competition. The following chapter includes methodology in which the used tools and procedures of the analysis are introduced. The practical part of the thesis includes introduction and analysis of the online marketing activities of the Language centre Laurus in that is the central part composed of the PPC advertising, SEO analysis and user testing of the web pages. Sedan utvecklingen av world wide web på 1990-talet har den digitala utveckling vuxit mer och mer. I takt med digitaliseringen har SEO blivit ett viktigt marknadsföringsverktyg som företag kan använda för att öka sin synlighet online. I slutet av 2019 spreds ett virus vid namn covid-19. Viruset utlöste en pandemi som skakade om världen. En tydlig förändring som skett under coronapandemin är att den digitala utvecklingen har påskyndats. Samtidigt som digitaliseringen påskyndats har även konsumentbeteendet förändrats i form av ökad kundnärvaro online under pandemin. Dessa faktorer har tillsammans lett till ökad konkurrens online inom den svenska sällanköpsvaruhandeln. En ny verklighet har utvecklats där digitala strategier får en allt mer betydande roll för att bemöta konkurrens, vilket företag som bedriver onlinehandel måste förhålla sig till. Syftet med studien är att kartlägga på vilket sätt företag inom den svenska sällanköpsvaruhandeln har förändrat sin uppfattning av SEO på grund av ökad konkurrens online till följd av coronapandemin. Studiens teoretiska bakgrund tar avstamp i två teorier, Inbound marketing samt The 4S web-marketing mix model. Studien tillämpar en kvalitativ ansats där semistrukturerade intervjuer använts för att samla in data. Sex (6) företag inom sällanköpsvaruhandeln intervjuades. Empirin visar att företagen utvecklat ett ökat intresse, en ökad värdesättning samt en ökad användning alternativt planerar implementering av SEO till följd av ökad konkurrens online under coronapandemin. Sammanfattningsvis visar empirin att företagen har utvecklat en mer positiv uppfattning av SEO vilket tyder på att SEO kan vara ett användbart verktyg för att bemöta den ökade konkurrensen online för företag inom sällanköpsvaruhandeln.
Since the development of the world wide web in the 1990s digital development has grown more and more. As the digitization has become an integrated part of organizations, SEO has become an important marketing tool that companies can use to increase their visibility online. At the end of 2019, a virus was spread by the name Covid-19. The virus triggered a pandemic that shook the world. During the pandemic the digital development has rapidly increased. The consumer behavior has also changed during the pandemic as the online presence among consumers has increased heavily. Both of these factors have led to increased competitiveness online among the Swedish rare goods trade. In this new reality digital strategies play an important role, which companies who conduct online trading have to take into consideration. The purpose of this study is to examine in which way companies in the Swedish rare goods trade have changed their perception of SEO due to increased competition online as a result of the covid-19 pandemic.  The theoretical background covers two theories, Inbound Marketing and The 4S Web-Marketing Mix Model. The study applies a qualitative approach where semi-structured interviews have been used to collect data. Six companies in the rare goods trade have been interviewed. Results show that the companies has developed an increased interest, an increased value and an increased use of SEO or a plan to implement SEO due to the increased competitiveness online during the pandemic. To summarize, the study proves that companies have developed a more positive perception of SEO which suggests that SEO can be a useful tool for addressing increased competitiveness online among companies in the Swedish rare goods trade.

The internet and the rise of e-commerce have changed the foundation for how Swedish fashion companies operates. The shift has simplified for businesses to reach foreign customers who are vital for the fashion companies as the Swedish market is too small to nurture all existing companies. To expand abroad often requires plenty of resources to overcome structural entry barriers. One marketing tool that Swedish fashion companies have used to avoid high expenditures is Affiliate marketing, a cost-effective digital marketing instrument. Therefore, is the purpose of this study to broaden the discussion about Affiliate marketing. Furthermore, this thesis will try to understand how Swedish fashion companies have incorporated Affiliate marketing to overcome market entry barriers. The result from the empirical findings gave indications that Affiliate marketing has had an impact on the Swedish fashion companies’ expansion. It was important for the interviewed companies to collaborate with different bloggers and websites, to create a certain awareness about the companies’ products on the new markets. The study also showed that Affiliate marketing could lower entry barriers by itself but also exposes businesses to new barriers as logistic- and payment solutions that must work simultaneously. The outcome of the study shows that it is significantly important for a Swedish fashion company to have a proper logistics- and payment system in place before a company implements Affiliate marketing, as the method will otherwise prove ineffective.
Enligt en rapport från Tillväxtverket är den svenska marknaden för mode för liten för att mätta allabefintliga bolag. För att nå ut till nya kunder har svenska modeföretag använt sig av e-handel ochonline marknadsföring. Affiliate marketing är en kostnadseffektiv digital marknadsföringsmetod somsvenska modeföretag har använt sig av. Eftersom att det är vitalt för svenska företag att marknadsförasig på och exportera sina produkter till andra marknader är syftet med uppsatsen att breddaforskningen kring Affiliate och försöka förstå Affiliate marketings roll i svenska modeföretagexpansionsstrategi och hur företagen har använt Affiliate marketing i sin expandering. Efter att ha genomfört intervjuer gav resultatet från empirin indikationer om att Affiliate marketinghade haft en påverkan på svenska modeföretags genomförda expansion utomlands. Det var viktigt förde intervjuade företagen att kunna samverka med olika intressenter som kunde agera publicister ochskapade intresse på de nya marknaderna. Resultatet visade att Affiliate marketing inte enskilt kundesänka etableringshinder utan att företag var tvungna att genomföra andra åtgärder samtidigt.Det var av större vikt att som företag ha implementerat en fungerande logistik- och betalningslösningpå plats innan svenska modeföretag använde sig av någon typ av marknadsföring som exempelvisAffiliate marketing.

The first chapter focuses on the evolution of consumer decision journey throughout the years and the development of touch-points from off-line to on-line activities, strictly tied to users' behavior role on-line. The sections introduce the strategy for an efficient social media management, best practice and functionalities for each social media platforms. At the end, the chapter introduces which are the main KPIs to evaluate social media strategy's activities and results. The second chapter develops an overview of the main element in Search Engine Marketing (SEM). Starting with the ongoing updates of Google algorithm, the sections explore how the techniques of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) are using even more a user-centric approach. We have focused the attention on the main SEO techniques and the main KPIs to consider in its evaluation. The last chapter's section is about the implementation of paid optimization activities on Google Ads. Simultaneously, the chapter introduces the element needed to implement an efficient Facebook Adv strategy. The last chapter introduces the EcorNaturaSì S.p.A case study. This thesis aims to explore concrete ways of application of internet marketing for promotion of a small service oriented business-to-business (B2B) company in broader context of the so-called new economy. To support the validity of the presented applications the thesis first draws on well-established theory of marketing concepts. In the second part of the paper, the role of internet marketing in business strategy of small and medium sized enterprises is explored. The thesis then continues with detailed description of particular tools of internet marketing and discusses their relevance and most appropriate application in the chosen field. In the application part of this thesis, the tools of Google Search Engine Marketing, which are perceived as the most efficient agent of small business promotion, are field-tested in a real small business promotion campaign. Finally, the thesis concludes with discussion of possibilities of future development in the field of internet marketing and sums up the overall findings of this paper. Throughout this thesis, the examined new technologies are regarded through the lenses of practical experience reported by their users and, at the same time, with consideration to established theoretical framework.

Either behaviour of customers of this e-shop or financial indicators, which are crucial for evaluating performance, are analyzed in this thesis. The synergic effect of using these marketing channels is evaluated using the assisted conversions analysis. The thesis is about internet marketing tools and their possible usage, shown on exact example from internet shop Minibike-shop.cz. The thesis is divided in three logical parts, which are built on each other. There are theoretically described tools in the first part, which can be used for an online promotion of the shop. The individual tools describe their advantages and possibilities of usage, which can result in improvement of business competitiveness. The fourth chapter of the thesis is completely devoted to social networks in Czech Republic and possibilities, which are offered by these networks to businesses. One of the chapters of the theoretical part of the thesis is a chapter devoted to indicators, which will help us measuring company's marketing success. Second part of the thesis is focused on a chosen shop analysis and its competitors according to the theoretical assumptions set up in first part of the thesis. Web pages audit of the individual shops is completed on the top of that, resulting in showing lack of their qualities. Third part of the thesis is devoted to a strategy proposal, which is based on shortages found out in the analyst part. Aim of the strategy is to eliminate detected mistakes and also gain competitive advantage. The thesis is ended by conclusion, which is devoted to the thesis summary and evaluation of the set goals. The main benefit of the thesis is the competitive analysis completed for the internet shop Minibike-shop.cz. and the proposed strategy on company's marketing growth. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the marketing tools of an e-commerce company, to evaluate them and to propose suggestions for improvement which will be implemented in the company strategy. The theoretical part describes the history of the Internet and its importance in the current business environment, the strategic procedures applied in online marketing and the description of individual marketing instruments. The practical part introduces the company, its products and its main competitors. Afterwards follows the analysis and comparison of the main online marketing tools and proposals for improvement which should be implemented in the marketing strategy are presented.

This diploma thesis focuses on Internet marketing of a tradesman. The theoretical part consisting of the first four chapters introduces Internet marketing and its tools, provides details about search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM) and Google Analytics - tool used to analyze website traffic. The final chapter focuses on Internet marketing of Mr. Škoch, a roofer from Lubná. The thesis analyzes his original website and strategy and then describes the process of creation of a new website, its optimization, creation of paid campaign and a Facebook page. Both websites and strategies are evaluated at the end of the chapter, recommendations are introduced and a list of steps for realization of Internet marketing is compiled. The aim of this thesis is to compile a summary of optimal Internet marketing tools universally applicable especially for tradesmen.

This thesis defines search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) issues. Thesis is divided into several parts which are closely connected to each other. First part of the thesis regards general formulas and terms definitions. In the second part the development on the field of SEO in last two years with accent of main changes which have happened till now is described. A market development in full-text browsers area and a search engine marketing development (where internet is perceived as a marketing instrument) in Czech Republic during years 2004 -- 2009 are also mentioned here. Third part shows opportunities of SEM including the most popular applications description, such as Sklik, AdWords or Etarget, social networks or catalogues. Fourth part concerns web pages analysis and data evaluation, let us say the ways how to analyze and evaluate these pages. Last part of my thesis consists of a practical review of methods and processes, which are described in previous parts of the thesis, with using shoes e-shop example. Here the whole process from opening analysis through keywords analysis till source codes editing and obtaining of external links by web catalogues are described. In addition to the optimization process is part of this thesis also chapter which describes the launch of advertising systems such as Sklik, AdWords and Etarget including evaluation of results and success of particular advertising campaigns realized through these systems. The conclusion of the practical section summarizes the benefits and knowledge that have been achieved by optimizing and which are applicable to other similar projects, which appear across all web in huge numbers. Potential reader of this thesis gets an overview of the current market state concerning full-text browsers in the Czech Republic and search engine marketing. The reader also discovers SEO changes which happened in last two years. Based on mentioned practical part of the thesis the reader should be able to apply basic knowledge in this area, including the basic PPC settings and including analysis of results and their evaluation.

Internet je fenoménem současnosti, v tržní realitě dnešní doby stále více platí ono rčení ? ?Kdo není na internetu, jako by nebyl?. Internetový marketing je dnes nedílnou součástí marketingu většiny firem. Dynamicky se rozvíjející tržní prostředí dneška však klade o to vyšší nároky na orientaci v této oblasti. Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat moderní teoretické přístupy v marketnigu ? zejména v oblasti využití internetu jako reklamního média a demonstrovat praktické využití technologie Flash na konkrétních příkladech. Předpokladem pro dosažení cíle této práce je má několikaletá zkušenost v oblasti internetového marketingu, prezentace a vizuální komunikace firem a především technologie Flash. Proto jsem se kromě nezbytných teoretických východisek zaměřil i na praktické ukázky a doporučení v této oblasti. Přínos této práce spočívá v teoretickém popisu východisek internetového marketingu a technologie Flash a v její následné demonstraci na multimediální flashové aplikaci.

For success in the business market, all companies must have well-developed marketing strategy. In today's information society internet plays an important role and therefore an internet marketing strategy too. This thesis first briefly deals with the specifics of marketing and marketing in services. In addition it describes the marketing on the internet and its tools (SEO, PPC, etc.). The last chapter of theory describes creation of off-line and on-line marketing strategies. The practical part starts with the analysis phase. This phase includes description of videoconferences and their technologies. Furthermore it contains description of Mojekonference service, with the help of Porter's analysis describes the competitive environment, deals with detailed market analysis, market research (using questionnaires), the creation of marketing tools, analysis of current marketing strategies and especially the analysis of website (keywords, SEO, etc.) The last section deals with the designing of marketing strategy, product, pricing, communication and distribution policy, makes a new structure of website and proposes a website advertising PPC campaign in Google AdWords.
