Анотація:
Recent technical improvements and cost reductions in electromagnetic motion tracking systems invite their application to motion axis determination in the surgical setting. After evaluation of the accuracy of a state-of-the-art D. C. electromagnetic tracking system, which generates complete three-dimensional kinematic outputs from just a single receiver, we calculated screw displacement axes (SDA’s) from its source data. The accuracy of SDA determination from such source data was evaluated for various rotational increment sizes around a revolute joint. A novel smoothing procedure, customized for this type of source data, was developed, enabling SDA detection from incremental rotations of less than 1 deg, at an accuracy appropriate for intra-operative measurement of human joint motion. Examples of SDA determination are given for motion tracking of a ball joint and of the elbow articulation.

Prior work on abiogenesis, the emergence of life from non-life, suggests that it requires chemical reaction networks that contain self-amplifying motifs, namely, autocatalytic cores. However, little is known about how the presence of multiple autocatalytic cores might allow for the gradual accretion of complexity on the path to life. To explore this problem, we develop the concept of a seed-dependent autocatalytic system (SDAS), which is a subnetwork that can autocatalytically self-maintain given a flux of food, but cannot be initiated by food alone. Rather, initiation of SDASs requires the transient introduction of chemical “seeds”. We show that, depending on the topological relationship of SDASs in a chemical reaction network, a food-driven system can accrete complexity in a historically contingent manner, governed by rare seeding events. We develop new algorithms for detecting and analyzing SDASs in chemical reaction databases and describe parallels between multi-SDAS networks and biological ecosystems. Applying our algorithms to both an abiotic reaction network and a biochemical one, each driven by a set of simple food chemicals, we detect SDASs that are organized as trophic tiers, of which the higher tier can be seeded by relatively simple chemicals if the lower tier is already activated. This indicates that sequential activation of trophically organized SDASs by seed chemicals that are not much more complex than what already exist could be a mechanism of gradual complexification from relatively simple abiotic reactions to more complex life-like systems. Interestingly, in both reaction networks, higher-tier SDASs include chemicals that might alter emergent features of chemical systems and could serve as early targets of selection. Our analysis provides computational tools for analyzing very large chemical/biochemical reaction networks and suggests new approaches to studying abiogenesis in the lab.

Анотація:
The study of the nature of the church1 is very significant to the body of Christ. Often, when this subject is introduced, Christians tend to ask: which is the true church and how can it be identified? Most churches claim to be the only ‘true church’ based on their teachings and this has continued to divide the body of Christ across the centuries. The Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) church has maintained the physical observance of the Sabbath to be one of the marks2 of identifying the ‘true church,’ yet the church fathers described the church as One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic. The SDA uses the Sabbath worship as a mark of identifying a ‘true church’ alongside the four attributes; and on the other hand, those churches that do not worship on Saturday regards the SDA’s emphasis of worshipping on Saturday as ‘worshipping the day’ rather than the almighty God. Besides this, misunderstandings have been encountered between the SDA and the so-called Sunday churches concerning the issue of what constitutes the true Sabbath. The study employs the dialogical-ecclesiological design in its bid to understand the contestations between the SDA and the ‘Sunday churches’ and in its building on the premise that dialogue is critical in our endeavor to find a new understanding and re-interpretation of the Sabbath, as one of the marks of a true church. The crucial question remains: can the observance of physical Sabbath be considered as one of the key marks of knowing the ‘true Church’?

Utilizing sawdust efficiently to produce construction materials can help safeguard the environment and decrease costs by minimizing the need for traditional resources and reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Additionally, recycling sawdust plays an essential role in creating a sustainable ecosystem. Hence, this study aimed to examine the potential use of sawdust ash (SDA) as a partial cement replacement on foamed mortar (FM) properties, including its fresh, mechanical, transport, thermal, and microstructural properties. A variety of FM mixtures were tested for workability, density, consistency, intrinsic air permeability, porosity, split tensile strength, compressive strength, flexural strength, and thermal conductivity by replacing cement with SDA at varying percentages of 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50%. The results revealed that FM’s workability was reduced by the introduction of SDA with a higher percentage cement replacement, while the density of the FM mixtures was reduced due to SDA’s specific gravity being lower than that of cement. A linear improvement was observed in the air permeability, sorptivity, and porosity of FM–SDA composites with an increased SDA percentage to 20%. It is notable that these properties started to deteriorate once the cement replacement by SDA surpassed 30%. A noticeable improvement of mechanical strength properties of the FM was found at 20% of SDA content, but they deteriorated when the SDA content was more than 30%. FM blends with higher SDA contents exhibited larger and more apparent voids, according to SEM analysis. In conclusion, incorporating sawdust into formulations emerges as a viable method for FM production. This approach not only mitigates the environmental impact of sawdust disposal but also reduces the need for extracting natural resources in construction material manufacturing.

The physical and mechanical properties of an entirely (wrought alloys) or partly (cast alloys) dendritically solidified alloy strongly depend on the secondary dendrite arm spacing (SDAS). The casting practice and the simulation of solidification need a usable but simple method to calculate the SDAS during and at the end of solidification as a function of the cooling rate. Based on many solidification experiments, a simple equation to calculate the SDAS (empirical method) is known to use the local solidification time, which can be obtained from the measured cooling curves (equiaxed solidification), or can be calculated from the temperature gradient and front velocity (directional solidification). This equation is not usable for calculating the SDAS during solidification. Kirkwood developed a semi-empirical method based on the liquid phase’s diffusion, which contains only one geometric factor that seems constant for different alloys. This equation contains some physical parameters that depend on the temperature, so the equation cannot be integral in closed form. In the present work, first, we show the effect of the curvature of the solid/liquid interface on the equilibrium concentrations and then the different processes of SDA coarsening. In our earlier paper, we demonstrated that using the empirical method, the final SDAS can be calculated with acceptable correctness in the case of four unidirectional solidification experiments of Al-7wt%Si alloy. The present work shows that numerically integrated Kirkwood’s equations used the known cooling curve; the SDAS can be calculated at the end and during solidification in good agreement with these experimental results. Compared to the two calculation methods, we stated that the correctness of the methods is similar. Still, the results of the solidification simulation (the microsegregation) will be more correct using the dynamical method. It is also shown that with the dynamical method, the SDAS can be calculated from any type of cooling curve, and using the dynamical method, it is proved that some different SDASs could belong to the same local solidification time.

Since dispersion enactment in Indonesia, two third of citizen well being and prosperity are depend on the performance of Local Government, from environment sanitation, such as waste management, to education quality and health services. It all depends on the quality of Local Government public services. SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) is (a) a new development agreement, substitution for MDGs. This agreement effective since 2015 until 2030; (b) a 35 pages document that have been approved by 190 country; (c) contain 17 goals, and 169 development target. SDGs procedure processes are based on inspiration and aspiration of Local Government. Through city association and Local Government in large-scale level, Local Government has been actively participating in SDGs formulation and validation. Therefore to Local Government, the capital and kabupaten government role are important for SDGs. Because there are some facts and validation that justify that. Few of SDGs focus become development underlying principle that consistent with nine main concern programme known as Nawacita, such as human development, education and social welfare, sustainable economics, energy and climate change. SDGs are prolongation from MDGs targets, especially in derivation of mother mortality, derivation of child mortality, derivation of AIDS/HIV, water supply and sanitation coverage. The four unfinished target, cannot be forgotten and neglected, because the targets are also align with some of SDGs goals and target. These are some of the things that Local Government can perform: Action plan, execution committee, institutional, funding, accountability mechanism, and socialization. In the end, Local Government be able to design an accurate and rapid policy thus for impartial Indonesia, a better citizen well being. And also to urge a better government effort to precede with SDGs agenda and utilize civilian to strengthen all the advocacy effort that have been done.

Small therapeutic proteins are receiving increased interest as therapeutic drugs; however, their clinical success has been limited due to their rapid elimination. Here, we report a half-life extension strategy via strategy via red blood cell red blood cell (RBC) hitch-hiking. This manuscript details the development and characterization of novel anti-RBC single-domain antibodies (sdAbs), their genetic fusion to therapeutic antibody fragments (TAF) as bispecific fusion constructs, and their influence on TAF pharmacokinetics and biodistribution. Several sdAbs specific to the band 3 antigen were generated via phage-display technology. Binding affinity to RBCs was assessed via flow cytometry. Affinity maturation via random mutagenesis was carried out to improve the binding affinity of the sdAbs. Bi-specific constructs were generated by fusing the anti-RBC sdAbs with anti-tissue necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) TAF via the use of a glycine-serine flexible linker, and assessments for binding were performed via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and flow cytometry. Pharmacokinetics of anti-RBC sdAbs and fusion constructs were evaluated following intravenous bolus dosing in mice at a 1 mg/kg dose. Two RBC-binding sdAbs, RB12 and RE8, were developed. These two clones showed high binding affinity to human RBC with an estimated KD of 17.7 nM and 23.6 nM and low binding affinity to mouse RBC with an estimated KD of 335 nM and 528 nM for RB12 and RE8, respectively. Two derivative sdAbs, RMA1, and RMC1, with higher affinities against mouse RBC, were generated via affinity maturation (KD of 66.9 nM and 30.3 nM, respectively). Pharmacokinetic investigations in mice demonstrated prolonged circulation half-life of an anti-RBC-TNF-α bispecific construct (75 h) compared to a non-RBC binding control (1.3 h). In summary, the developed anti-RBC sdAbs and fusion constructs have demonstrated high affinity in vitro, and sufficient half-life extension in vivo.

Indonesian government's commitment to implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) agenda, particularly in West Sumatra. The government of West Sumatra supports the objectives and targets of achieving SDG’s by optimizing the implementation of SDG indicators in the Rencana Aksi Daerah (RAD) for SDG’s of West Sumatra Province for the years 2022-2026. However, in its execution, there is a need for annual monitoring and evaluation of the RAD for SDG’s in West Sumatra Province. Clustering is employed to serve as a consideration for evaluating the implementation of RAD for SDG’s in West Sumatra Province for the years 2022-2026. The clustering method used is Self Organizing Map (SOM), an effective tool for visualizing high-dimensional data and can be used to map high-dimensional data into one, two, or three dimensions, representing connected units or neurons. The data used consist of 14 SDG indicator variables across 19 regencies/cities in West Sumatra in the year 2022, sourced from the official website and publications of the Badan Pusat Statistika (BPS) of West Sumatra Province. The analysis results in the formation of 3 clusters with different characteristics, which can be used as references in making policy decisions and effective strategies to enhance the implementation performance of SDG’s programs in West Sumatra Province.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pengelolaan Dana Desa yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah Desa Rongdalem dalam dalam mewujudkan pembangunan desa yang berkelanjutan berbasis SDG’s Desa, serta hasil yang telah dicapai dari rencana strategi yang telah dilakukan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Tekhnik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan dana desa yang diterapkan sudah cukup baik dan terarah sesuai dengan hasil capaian SDG’s Desa. terdapat beberapa masalah dalam pengelolaan Dana Desa dalam mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan berbasis SDG’s Desa yaitu sosialisasi yang dilakukan pemerintah desa belum menyentuh masyarakat awam, sehingga masih ada beberapa masyarakat yang belum paham mengenai program SDG’s Desa. Kesimpulannya implementasi pengelolaan dana desa dalam mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan berasis SDG’s Desa dengan tujuan untuk mengatasi kemiskinan dengan ekonomi yang tumbuh merata yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah Desa Rongdalem Kecamatan Omben Kabupaten Sampang sudah menunjukkan hasil yang cukup baik karena sudah terarah dan tepat sasaran. In this investigation, experiments were carried out to study the relationship of solidification parameters and the secondary dendrite arm spacing (SDAS) in A357 alloy casting with various thicknesses under the same solidification condition. The results show that the cooling rate decreases as the thickness of specimens increases, the local solidification time increased, and SDAS increased. The relationships between the SDAS and cooling rate and local solidification time under the condition of furan resin self-hardening sand casting were obtained: SDAS = 20.8 tf 0.3, SDAS = 69.34 v -0.3. The mechanical properties have some linear relations with SDAS of A357 alloy after aging heat treatment. The correlations can be expressed: UTS=410.4-0.8SDAS and El%=7.9-0.05SDAS.

Pemerintah desa memperoleh Dana Desa dari pemerintah pusat. Desa semakin disorot karena harus berpedoman pada SDG’s (Sustainable Development Goals). Berdasarkan penelitian Rakhmawati, et al (2021), aspek perencanaan dan penganggaran dengan 18 aspek Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) dirasa cukup kompleks dengan 247 indikator, pada 3 pilar (Ekonomi, Sosial, dan Lingkungan). Penelitian ini ditujukan mengkaji antar dokumen perencanaan dan penganggaran, hingga pelaksanaan keuangan desa, apakah selaras dengan pendataan SDG’s 2021. Desa yang dituju berada di Kabupaten Lombok Barat dengan tipografi berbeda, yaitu daratan, laut/perairan, dan pegunungan. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif. Hasilnya, pada 2022, program SDG’s belum dapat membawa keunikan pada tahapan pengelolaan keuangan desa. Hal ini dikarenakan pada saat itu, aplikasi pendataan dan pengukur sub indikator SDG’s belum jelas pada 2022. Akibatnya, data realisasi pelaksanaan keuangan desa kurang lengkap diisi oleh desa. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menyarankan adanya standar pelaksanaan keuangan desa yang dirancang lebih jelas dari pemerintah pusat, baik oleh Kementerian Dalam Negeri maupun Kemendes PDTT. Kejelasan standar diperlukan bagi dari segi alat pengumpul data untuk perencanaannya, maupun kejelasan aplikasinya.

Aluminum alloy A357 can be heat treated in order to obtain optimum mechanical properties. Moreover, SDAS (Second dendrite arm spacing) is an important structure feature in cast aluminum alloys. The effects of SDAS on the homogenization of Al-Si-Mg alloy are investigated through measurement of SDAS and hardness analysis. The results show that the homogenization time increases as the value of SDAS increases and the homogenization temperature decreases in the homogenization process. The homogenization kinetics equation is: . In addition, the hardness after homogenization treatment at 540°C for 6 hours is advanced with the reduction of SDAS.

The mechanical properties of Al-Si alloys are affected by several microstructural features such as secondary dendrite arm spacing (SDAS), size and shape of eutectic Si-particles, presence of intermetallics as well as by porosity. In the current study, Al-Si-Cu alloy A380 was prepared by a unique directional solidification method to produce samples with two different SDAS of 9 μm and 27 μm. The lower solidification rate resulted in larger SDAS, larger grain size, larger eutectic Si and larger intermetallics including Fe-rich β phase. The microstructure with higher solidification rate was found to be finer and more homogeneous with smaller eutectic Si and intermetallics. The specimen with larger SDAS exhibited stronger texture than the one with smaller SDAS. The specimen with smaller SDAS showed improved mechanical properties including YS, UTS and ductility.

Salah satu strateginya adalah menciptakan platform ekonomi digital yang menggunakan prinsip kolaborasi dari semua pihak dan memperkuat manajemen kebijakan, infrastruktur, dan sektor konsumen. Dasar pemikiran ini tidak terlepas dari kuatnya intervensi asing yang merupakan konsekuensi dari utang negara yang selalu meningkat setiap tahunnya. Melalui instruksi Presiden Jokowi, pemerintah pada tahun 2021 telah fokus pada program pembangunan berkelanjutan sebagaimana tertuang dalam kesepakatan internasional, salah satunya adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi dan penyerapan tenaga kerja.

Gecko-like synthetic dry adhesives (SDAs) have adhesion comparable to that of a real Gecko’s foot, but with very low durability. To address this problem, self-cleaning or stiff core embedding methods have been proposed. However, the proposed methods require special locomotion or complicated manufacturing. In this study, we suggested a metal coating on synthetic dry adhesives to improve durability. SDAs were fabricated via PDMS. Then, metals such as indium, zinc, and gold were coated on the SDAs. The adhesion tests show that the indium- and zinc-coated microstructures have a higher shear adhesion strength than the noncoated ones. Also, the shear adhesion strength of noncoated SDAs was only 14.5% of the initial strength while that of the zinc-coated ones was 35.6% after 200 times of attachment and detachment. We could find PDMS debris and fractures on noncoated SDAs, which results in weakening of the adhesion strength. On the other hand, a relatively high hardness, strength, and stiffness of the zinc coating layers reduced the wear and fractures of the micropatterns, which led to an improved durability in the SDAs. From these tests, we can conclude that the metal coating method could improve the durability of the SDAs.

Treatments for central nervous system diseases with therapeutic antibodies have been increasingly investigated over the last decades, leading to some approved monoclonal antibodies for brain disease therapies. The detection of biomarkers for diagnosis purposes with non-invasive antibody-based imaging approaches has also been explored in brain cancers. However, antibodies generally display a low capability of reaching the brain, as they do not efficiently cross the blood−brain barrier. As an alternative, recent studies have focused on single-domain antibodies (sdAbs) that correspond to the antigen-binding fragment. While some reports indicate that the brain uptake of these small antibodies is still low, the number of studies reporting brain-penetrating sdAbs is increasing. In this review, we provide an overview of methods used to assess or evaluate brain penetration of sdAbs and discuss the pros and cons that could affect the identification of brain-penetrating sdAbs of therapeutic or diagnostic interest.

Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) are currently used for the targeted delivery of drugs to diseased cells, but intracellular drug delivery and therefore efficacy may be suboptimal because of the large size, slow internalization and ineffective intracellular trafficking of the antibody. Using a phage display method selecting internalizing phages only, we developed internalizing single domain antibodies (sdAbs) with high binding affinity to rat PDGFRβ, a receptor involved in different types of diseases. We demonstrate that these constructs have different characteristics with respect to internalization rates but all traffic to lysosomes. To compare their efficacy in targeted drug delivery, we conjugated the sdAbs to a cytotoxic drug. The conjugates showed improved cytotoxicity correlating to their internalization speed. The efficacy of the conjugates was inhibited in the presence of vacuolin-1, an inhibitor of lysosomal maturation, suggesting lysosomal trafficking is needed for efficient drug release. In conclusion, sdAb constructs with different internalization rates can be designed against the same target, and sdAbs with a high internalization rate induce more cell killing than sdAbs with a lower internalization rate in vitro. Even though the overall efficacy should also be tested in vivo, sdAbs are particularly interesting formats to be explored to obtain different internalization rates.

Abstract A Security Door Access Control System (SDACS) project involves a number of teams from different organizations with diverse project goals. One of the main challenges of such projects is the lack of a standard approach or common understanding to achieve a common goal among project parties. This research examines various management concerns for SDACS projects, highlights the expected common understanding for project participants, develops the project management constructs, and emphasizes on the resulting value of the project to all participants. A two-stage process of scale development and validation was conducted. First, six generic constructs were identified based on the Security Access Control System Framework. Next, a multi-item scale for each construct was developed with reference to the Result-Oriented Management Framework. Expert judges were invited to conduct manual sorting of the items iteratively until reliability and validity was reached. In the next stage, further refinement and validation were carried out with a synthesized survey instrument and a series of statistical testing followed. The finalized SDACS project management constructs and the related findings help reinforce the importance of a standardized management practice for SDACS projects. The value of this research not only benefits SDACS project managers but everyone who works on the project.

Salah satu pengembangannya adalah dengan mencari rute terpendek pada permasalahan Travelling Salesman Problem menggunakan algoritma Ant Colony Optimization (ACO). Algoritma ini terinspirasi oleh perilaku koloni semut yang dapat menemukan jalan terpendek dari sarang menuju sumber makanan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan bantuan GUI Matlab sebagai alat komputasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, sistem GUI yang dibangun dapat mempermudah dan mempercepat proses pencarian rute terpendek dalam pemantauan dan pendistribusian penyelenggara SDG’s.

Antibodies have become one of the most successful therapeutics for a number of oncology and inflammatory diseases. So far, central nervous system (CNS) indications have missed out on the antibody revolution, while they remain ‘hidden’ behind several hard to breach barriers. Among the various antibody modalities, single-domain antibodies (sdAbs) may hold the ‘key’ to unlocking the access of antibody therapies to CNS diseases. The unique structural features of sdAbs make them the smallest monomeric antibody fragments suitable for molecular targeting. These features are of particular importance when developing antibodies as modular building blocks for engineering CNS-targeting therapeutics and imaging agents. In this review, we first introduce the characteristic properties of sdAbs compared to traditional antibodies. We then present recent advances in the development of sdAbs as potential therapeutics across brain barriers, including their use for the delivery of biologics across the blood–brain and blood–cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) barriers, treatment of neurodegenerative diseases and molecular imaging of brain targets.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine the role of supplier development activities (SDAs) in the context of three major performance outcomes (POs), i.e. supplier performance improvement (SPI), buyer’s competitive advantage improvement (BCAI) and buyer-supplier relationship improvement (BSRI). Design/methodology/approach A survey was conducted of 214 manufacturing organizations and the data were analyzed using factor analysis, correlation analysis and multiple hierarchical regression analysis. Findings This paper categorizes the identified 28 SDAs and 33 POs into five and three major categories of SDAs and POs, respectively. The results indicate a significant relationship between each aspect of SDAs and POs, except investment. The effect of each category of SDA is determined through a developed framework. Research limitations/implications This present study analyzes the SDAs and POs from the buyer’s point of view. A paired buyer and supplier data may provide some additional information about the relationship between SDAs and POs. Practical implications The outcome of this study will provide significant information for managers and academicians who are involved in outsourcing. Originality/value For the first time, the relationship and effect of each category of SDAs was analyzed in combination with three major POs, i.e. SPI, BSRI and BCAI.

Using the method of numerical simulation and the AnyCasting software, the simulation for SDAS of Al-Mg alloy wheels for low pressure casting is studied. The simulation model is established and the effects of preheating temperature, melt pouring temperature and cooling water pipes on SDAS in the low pressure casting process was founded. The results show that, SDAS presents linear variation with the increase of preheating temperature and pouring temperature; opened cooling pipes make SDAS smaller. The practice of simulating casting is verified by experiments, and test results and simulation results were consistent.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kalurahan Wonokromo telah melakukan pendataan SDG’s Desa sejak kebijakan tersebut diterapkan. Kalurahan Wonokromo juga memiliki kapasitas dalam melakukan pendataan melalui sistem yang dimiliki, dan kelembagaan yang ada dan Sumber Daya Manusia yang dimiliki hingga ke tingkat Rumah Tangga. Pemerintah Kalurahan Wonokromo berkomitmen untuk menggunakan Data SDG’s Desa sebagai data dasar dalam menyusun rencana pembangunan agar lebih efektif dan efisien.

The results indicate that serious overheating characteristic structure takes on compound melting ball, crystal separating phase and overheating triangle section; The overheating level of A357 alloy raises with solution temperature increasing; The mechanical properties decrease with the overheating level increasing; The overheating temperature of casting increases as the SDAS decreases, the regression equations of the correlation between SDAS and overheating temperature is as follows: T = 575.46-0.213SDAS; Optimum solution temperature could be selected for A357 alloy with different SDAS depending on supercritical solution region proposed in this paper.

Influenza B virus (IBV) circulates in the human population and causes considerable disease burden worldwide, each year. Current IBV vaccines can struggle to mount an effective cross-reactive immune response, as strains become mismatched, due to constant antigenic changes. Additional strategies which use monoclonal antibodies, with broad reactivity, are of considerable interest, both, as diagnostics and as immunotherapeutics. Alternatives to conventional monoclonal antibodies, such as single domain antibodies (NanobodiesTM) with well-documented advantages for applications in infectious disease, have been emerging. In this study we have isolated single domain antibodies (sdAbs), specific to IBV, using alpacas immunised with recombinant hemagglutinin (HA) from two representative viruses, B/Florida/04/2006 (B/Yamagata lineage) and B/Brisbane/60/2008 (B/Victoria lineage). Using phage display, we have isolated a panel of single domain antibodies (sdAbs), with both cross-reactive and lineage-specific binding. Several sdAbs recognise whole virus antigens, corresponding to influenza B strains included in vaccines spanning over 20 years, and were capable of neutralising IBV pseudotypes corresponding to prototype strains from both lineages. Lineage-specific sdAbs recognised the head domain, whereas, sdAbs identified as cross-reactive could be classified as either head binding or stem binding. Using yeast display, we were able to correlate lineage specificity with naturally occurring sequence divergence, at residue 122 in the highly variable 120 loop of the HA1 domain. The single domain antibodies described, might have applications in IBV diagnostics, vaccine potency testing and as immunotherapeutics.

A Cellular Automaton-Finite Element (CAFE) model and a secondary dendrite arm spacing (SDAS) model are established to study the evolutionary behavior of the macrostructure and the secondary dendrites on a 295 × 2270 mm2 slab cross-section of experimental steel, respectively. The relationship between the element content, SDAS, equiaxed crystal ratio (ECR) and macrosegregation in continuously cast experimental slabs was studied comprehensively. It is found that with the increase in carbon content, the ECR increases at first and then decreases, and the ECR reaches the maximum value when the carbon content is 0.3%. With the increase in carbon content, the SDAS and average grain size of the equiaxed crystal zone increase, whereas the Si and Al content evidently affects the SDAS and average grain size of the equiaxed crystal zone to a greater extent than the Mn content. In addition, the SDAS can be reduced by reducing the content of C and Si within the acceptable range of alloy composition.

The post-2015 development framework endorsed disability as an issue of social rights that is in accordance with the guidelines of United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The United Nations Statistical Commission has worked through the Inter-agency and Expert Group and the High-level Group in the formation of the indicators framework to measure the progress made by the disabled persons in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The main objective of this article is to assess the disability prevalence in India and subsequently examine its preparedness towards developing the disability indicators. We consider the Census 2011 data to provide an account of disability situations along with information on state-wise composition, types, age distribution, literacy and employment aspects. We then explain as to how the indicators framework would result in data and information demands on India’s part, which are essential for monitoring the progress of disability inclusion in the country.

This paper presents a model based on stacked denoising autoencoders (SDAEs) in deep learning and adaptive affinity propagation (adAP) for bearing fault diagnosis automatically. First, SDAEs are used to extract potential fault features and directly reduce their high dimension to 3. To prove that the feature extraction capability of SDAEs is better than stacked autoencoders (SAEs), principal component analysis (PCA) is employed to compare and reduce their dimension to 3, except for the final hidden layer. Hence, the extracted 3-dimensional features are chosen as the input for adAP cluster models. Compared with other traditional cluster methods, such as the Fuzzy C-mean (FCM), Gustafson–Kessel (GK), Gath–Geva (GG), and affinity propagation (AP), clustering algorithms can identify fault samples without cluster center number selection. However, AP needs to set two key parameters depending on manual experience—the damping factor and the bias parameter—before its calculation. To overcome this drawback, adAP is introduced in this paper. The adAP clustering algorithm can find the available parameters according to the fitness function automatic. Finally, the experimental results prove that SDAEs with adAP are better than other models, including SDAE-FCM/GK/GG according to the cluster assess index (Silhouette) and the classification error rate.

A356 is the aluminum casting grade which has compositions that combines outstanding casting characteristics with excellent properties after heat treatment. Mechanical properties of A356 can be improved by reducing of secondary dendrite arm spacing (SDAS), precipitation hardening, and the interaction effect of both. It is generally accepted that dendrite arm spacing and fine distribution microstructure are related to each other and they also affect the precipitation hardening in a way that smaller SDAS results in shorter time required to obtain a satisfactory degree of solution of the undissolved or precipitated soluble phase constituents and to achieve good homogeneity. Minor addition of Sb was successfully used in reducing the SDAS in previous work. However, the effect of Sb addition on age hardening has not been investigated, especially in a high cooling rate condition. In this research, effects of minor addition of Sb on SDAS, age hardening and mechanical properties; i.e. hardness and tensile properties, are reported. It was found that Sb addition did not clearly affect SDAS at the high cooling rate, i.e. as in permanent mold casting process. Moreover, we found that the addition of Sb into A356 also lowered mechanical properties.

Microporosity in cast aluminum alloys formed during solidification of castings can be due to the evolution of dissolved hydrogen gas from the liquid metal, the inability of liquid metal to feed through interdendritic channels, or a combination of both. The secondary dendrite arm spacing (SDAS) of the casting may affect either the evolution of hydrogen gas or the ability of feeding. In this investigation, a method based on the Nearest-Neighbor-Distance (NND for short) cluster analysis of image analysis data was used for distinguishing the gas and shrinkage pores in A357 alloy, in order to study the effects of SDAS on the microporosity formation. It shows that the shrinkage pores are prone to form in the specimens with small SDAS. The discrete, isolated gas microporosity is prone to form in the specimens with large SDAS.

ABSTRACT Objective: This study aimed to use a utility method in order to assess dentists’ preferences for the restoration of shortened dental arches (SDAs) with partial dentures. Also, the impact of patient age and length of the SDA on dentists’ preferences for the partial dentures was investigated. Materials and Methods: Totally, 104 subjects holding a basic degree in dentistry and working as staff members in a private dental college in Saudi Arabia were interviewed and presented with 12 scenarios for patients of different ages and mandibular SDAs of varying length. Participants were asked to indicate on a standardized visual analog scale how they would value the health of the patient's mouth if the mandibular SDAs were restored with cobalt-chromium removable partial dentures (RPDs). Results: With a utility value of 0.0 representing the worst possible health state for a mouth and 1.0 representing the best, dentists’ average utility value of the RPD for the SDAs was 0.49 (sd= 0.15). Mean utility scores of the RPDs across the 12 SDA scenarios ranged between 0.35 and 0.61. RPDs that restored the extremely SDAs attracted the highest utility values and dentists’ utility of the RPD significantly increased with the increase in the number of missing posterior teeth. No significant differences in dentists’ mean utility values for the RPD were identified among SDA scenarios for patients of different ages. Conclusion: Restoration of the mandibular SDAs by RPDs is not a highly preferred treatment option among the surveyed group of dentists. Length of the SDA affects dentists’ preferences for the RPD, but patient age does not.

As part of the approval of the new agenda 2030, the Faculty of Environmental Sciences at the University Pilot of Colombia organized the event “Foro de la Sostenibilidad”. Event aimed to present results of the Millennium Development Goals - MDGs and their transition to Sustainable Development Goals – SDG’s - where a survey was conducted to attendees about 17 SDG’s would prioritize , in order to know the pint of view of young people on the issue. In Colombia, through the Global Survey of the United Nations, My World, It was possible to capture the opinion, the priorities and views of 45,479 citizens; among these priorities highlights the importance of a good education for development, better health care, better job opportunities and the need for an honest and responsive government. On the other hand “Professor Jeffrey Sachs, renowned advocate and activist of the SDG’s, has suggested that 8 of the 17 goals are particularly relevant to Colombia in the first phase of implementation.” (PNUD Colombia, 2015b). This document aims to establish a parallel between the SDG’s prioritized by the university students attending the event “Foro de la Sostenibilidad”, the prioritization of Colombians in the survey My World and the objectives mentioned by Professor Jeffrey Sachs, With the purpose of identify training needs for young people in recognition of Agenda 2030 and the ODS.

It's critical to track and anticipate diabetes in emerging nations like Vietnam, particularly for those with type 1 diabetes. This article proposes SDAPS, an AI-powered diabetes prediction technique. Our method is based on two ideas: (i) using the SFDM method to make the training data better by combining the oversampling of the Forest Diffusion Model with the SMOTE data balancing method; and (ii) making the GSDP model by stacking different boosting machine learning models together. We also suggest an AI-powered blood glucose monitoring and recommendation system based on SDAPS to provide diabetic patients with all-encompassing assistance with blood glucose monitoring, dietary counseling, physical activity, and the proper use of medications. Our thorough experiments using the Pima Indians diabetes dataset and the 5-fold cross-validation evaluation method demonstrate that SDAPS outperforms the state-of-the-art methods, with the following results: sensitivity, specificity, F1, accuracy, and precision: 98.03\%, 99.49%, 98.74%, 98.75%, and 98.00%, respectivelyOrder

The aim of the present study was to characterize the high temperature tensile behaviour of the C355 (Al-Si-Cu-Mg) alloy produced under controlled casting condition so as to obtain different secondary dendrite arm spacing (SDAS). C355 samples were produced through a gradient solidification equipment able to produce microstructures with fine (20-25 μm) and coarse (50-70 μm) SDAS values. The as-produced specimens were subjected to hot-isostatic pressing and then T6 heat treated. Microstructural characterization, room and high temperature (200 °C) tensile tests were carried out on the heat treated specimens. The tensile behaviour was related to the different SDAS value of the samples.

Measuring poverty using non-income indicators enable countries to target and develop programs for poverty alleviation and understand its performance towards the sustainable development goals (SDG’s). This paper which seeks to evaluate the performance of the municipality of Ocampo in Camarines Sur, Philippines towards the SDG’s via the Community-based Management System (CBMS) would enable policymakers to target recipients of government programs and interventions in the municipality. This paper looked into the responsiveness of the municipality of Ocampo, Camarines Sur to the SDGs by identifying the household poverty index; poverty gap index and poverty severity index as well as estimating the probability of households in Ocampo, Camarines Sur to becoming poor using non-income indicators which are connected with the SDG’s. Employing the Foster-Greer-Thorbecke (FGT) poverty measures, and logistic regression, the researcher found that around 64.5% of the households in the municipality of Ocampo, Camarines Sur are poor. Likewise, majority of the poor households in the municipality don’t have access to clean and safe water, toilet facilities and internet and electric connectivity. However, despite them being poor, the residents of Ocampo visits medical facilities and received medical treatments if they are sick. The municipality does well in SDG 3, good health and well-being. To further strengthen the municipality’s responsiveness to the SDG’s, there is a need to strengthen barangay health units, develop local water sources and further access to internet connectivity.

This paper investigates the determination of secondary dendrite arm spacing (SDAS) using convolutional neural networks (CNNs). The aim was to build a Deep Learning (DL) model for SDAS prediction that has industrially acceptable prediction accuracy. The model was trained on images of polished samples of high-pressure die-cast alloy EN AC 46000 AlSi9Cu3(Fe), the gravity die cast alloy EN AC 51400 AlMg5(Si) and the alloy cast as ingots EN AC 42000 AlSi7Mg. Color images were converted to grayscale to reduce the number of training parameters. It is shown that a relatively simple CNN structure can predict various SDAS values with very high accuracy, with a R2 value of 91.5%. Additionally, the performance of the model is tested with materials not used during training; gravity die-cast EN AC 42200 AlSi7Mg0.6 alloy and EN AC 43400 AlSi10Mg(Fe) and EN AC 47100 Si12Cu1(Fe) high-pressure die-cast alloys. In this task, CNN performed slightly worse, but still within industrially acceptable standards. Consequently, CNN models can be used to determine SDAS values with industrially acceptable predictive accuracy.

The study on the synthesis of zeolites, including both the development of novel techniques of synthesis and the discovery of new zeolitic frameworks, has a background of several decades. In this context, the application of organic structure-directing agents (SDAs) is one of the key factors having an important role in the formation of porous zeolitic networks as well as the crystallization process of zeolites. There are various elements that are needed to be explored for elucidating the effects of organic SDAs on the final physicochemical properties of zeolites. Although SDAs were firstly used as pore generators in the synthesis of high-silica zeolites, further studies proved their multiple roles during the synthesis of zeolites, such as their influences on the crystallization evolution of zeolite, the size of the crystal and the chemical composition, which is beyond their porogen properties. The aim of this mini review is to present and briefly summarize these features as well as the advances in the synthesis of new SDAs during the last decades.

A new procedure for the automatic measurement of the secondary dendrite arm spacing (SDAS) from microscopic images is presented. The individual primary and secondary dendrite arms are identified through suitable segmentation techniques and clustered in such a way that dendritic structures are obtained suitable for SDAS measurement. The algorithms are applied to two different hypoeutectic aluminum cast alloys, and the quality of the measurements obtained is assessed through a comparison to manually measured SDAS values. A good agreement between the automated measurements and the distribution of manual measurements is found for both cast structures considered. In addition, a decrease in computation time is observed which allows for an increase in measurement density that is used to characterize the microstructures.

Oleh karena itu SDG’s melibatkan 3 pilar atau yang dikenal dengan “Triple Bottom Line “ yakni pertama meminimalisir kerushakan lingkungan; Kedua , memberikan manfaat kepada masyarakat dimana organisasi berada; Ketiga, memberikan “economic value” bagi perushaan. Untuk menjalankan prinsip program CSR dengan prinsip SDG’s ini memerlukan partisipasi dari perusahaan maupun masyarakat , maka untuk membantu mengatasi solusi ini diperlukan pendekatan komunikasi partisipatif dalam pelaksanaan program CSR. A 69-year-old female presented to the emergency department after becoming unresponsive at home following a progressive decrease in her level of consciousness (LOC) (See Figure 1). An urgent computerized tomography (CT) scan of the head demonstrated large bilateral chronic subdural hematomas (SDH’s). Due to the resulting mass effect she was brought urgently to the operating room where the SDH’s were evacuated via anterior and posterior burr holes placed bilaterally. No complications were encountered during the procedure. Prior to skin closure bilateral subdural catheters were placed in the posterior burr hole sites and left under closed suction.

Limited research has been undertaken regarding the homogeneity of CoCrPtB alloy billets. A CoCrPtB alloy was processed through casting and vacuum hot pressing. This investigation delved into the interconnection between the secondary dendrite arm spacing (SDAS) in the as-hot-pressed samples and their corresponding attributes, specifically Vickers hardness and magnetic properties. Systematic sampling was conducted on the cross-sectional layer and longitudinal surface. Upon examination of the cross-sectional layer proximate to the uppermost region of the hot casting, a discernible parabolic trend was observed for the SDAS that exhibited a gradual increment from the peripheral regions toward the central area along the width. Simultaneously, the fraction of the dendrite phase displayed a consistent linear decline, attaining its peak value at the central portion of the billet. Conversely, on the longitudinal surface, SDAS and the fraction of the dendrite phase remained fairly uniform within the same column sampling regions. However, a notable divergence was identified in the central section, characterized by an augmented SDAS and diminished dendrite phase content. This inherent microstructural inhomogeneity within the CoCrPtB alloy engendered discernible disparities in material properties.

Sustainable development plays a vital role in improving the quality of human life economically, socially, and environmentally worldwide because it enables countries and economies to use their resources efficiently to achieve economic growth. The purpose of this research is to examine the act of business schools at Palestinian universities by their study plan in achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs) (G1, G4, G8, G9, G12, G16 ,G17), due to their strong relationship with business sector in the local market, in addition to examining whether the graduates of business schools have the required competencies and required skills for the local market. The research would be quantitative research by using a survey questionnaire designed by the researchers for collecting data. Key Findings: According to study plans of business schools, all items above have means between (3.37) and (3.90) which means (between medium and high), for SDG’s means between (3.51) for both SDG’s: Responsible Consumption and Production, and No Poverty, and (3.85) for Quality Education, while achieving sustainable development goals had mean (3.71) which means high. According to graduates’ competencies of business schools fit the needs of employers in the local market in relevant to SDGs, all items above had means between (3.17) and (3.73) which means (between medium and high), for SDG’s means between (3.23) for Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure and (3.66) for Quality Education, while achieving sustainable development goals had mean (3.45) which means high. There is no significant difference at (α<=0.05) between University Faculty Members and Palestinian Markets according to how business schools fit the needs of employers in the local market in relevant to SDGs in all items and SDGs, since significant level > 0.05, except items and SDG’s, this difference related for University Faculty Members in all of items and SDG’s below: • Study plans of business school tackles the accountability and transparency principles. HER2-targeted therapies have drastically improved the outcome for breast cancer patients. However, when metastasis to the brain is involved, current strategies fail to hold up to the same promise. Camelid single-domain antibody-fragments (sdAbs) have been demonstrated to possess favorable properties for detecting and treating cancerous lesions in vivo using different radiolabeling methods. Here we evaluate the anti-HER2 sdAb 2Rs15d, coupled to diagnostic γ- and therapeutic α- and β−-emitting radionuclides for the detection and treatment of HER2pos brain lesions in a preclinical setting. 2Rs15d was radiolabeled with 111In, 225Ac and 131I using DTPA- and DOTA-based bifunctional chelators and Sn-precursor of SGMIB respectively and evaluated in orthotopic tumor-bearing athymic nude mice. Therapeutic efficacy as well as systemic toxicity were determined for 131I- and 225Ac-labeled sdAbs and compared to anti-HER2 monoclonal antibody (mAb) trastuzumab in two different HER2pos tumor models. Radiolabeled 2Rs15d showed high and specific tumor uptake in both HER2pos SK-OV-3-Luc-IP1 and HER2pos MDA-MB-231Br brain lesions, whereas radiolabeled trastuzumab was unable to accumulate in intracranial SK-OV-3-Luc-IP1 tumors. Administration of [131I]-2Rs15d and [225Ac]-2Rs15d alone and in combination with trastuzumab showed a significant increase in median survival in 2 tumor models that remained largely unresponsive to trastuzumab treatment alone. Histopathological analysis revealed no significant early toxicity. Radiolabeled sdAbs prove to be promising vehicles for molecular imaging and targeted radionuclide therapy of metastatic lesions in the brain. These data demonstrate the potential of radiolabeled sdAbs as a valuable add-on treatment option for patients with difficult-to-treat HER2pos metastatic cancer.
