Developing disciplines in Colombia, such as engineering, is a fundamental element in developing technological development and innovation. Such discipline generating knowledge and research represents input which must support approaches made to Colombia's social and economic problems. The present article recognises scientific journals' role as a support mechanism by controlling the quality of such input, aimed at strengthening technological developments and innovation. It describes the role of broadcasting knowledge and developing engineering, clearly showing the support which it has received in Colombia and the journals' role as an element for strengthening innovation; in the paper "Ingeniería e Investigation" Journal is emphasised, describing its trajectory from its creation to how it has acquired its present day scientific and technological maturity. Some challenges and perspectives are then proposed for broadcasting and appropriating knowledge from journals.

The aim of the article is to disclose some general trends in scientific discourse studies that have emerged by the second decade of the 21 st century, to characterize scientific discourse as a means of promoting knowledge, and to consider its contribution to public communication. The notion of scientific discourse incorporates both conventional (scientific articles, reviews, theses, dissertation abstracts) and modern forms of discourse (online academic conferences, symposia, colloquiums, seminars). The research is viewed in the article as a result of scientists' social activity targeted at new knowledge discovery and broadcasting, whilst the scientific text is defined in terms of verbal representation of the research results in a par with new knowledge transmission. Two types of determinants are introduced to regulate the model of scientific text composition – internal and external. The internal determinant is represented by discursive structures, which promote knowledge in scientific text as the element of scientific communication, while the external dominant is represented by extralinguistic factors, which provide the promotion of scientific discourse outside the professional community (socializing). Воth kinds of determinants provide the interpretation of the scientific discourse as open systems. An assumption is made on the increasing role of external determinant in discursive extension of modern scientific text by means of the Internet; the addressee factor wider representation and scientific knowledge inclusion into cross-cultural communication.

Case studies are vehicles to bridge the gap between science and practice because they provide opportunities to blend observations and interventions that have taken place in real-world environments with scientific rigor. The purpose of this invited commentary is to present considerations for those providing applied sport science support to athletes with the intention of broadcasting this information to the scientific community. The authors present a 4-phased approach (1: athlete overview; 2: needs analysis; 3: intervention planning; and 4: results, evaluation, and conclusion) for scientific support to assist practitioners in the development and implementation of scientific support. These considerations are presented in the form of “performance questions” designed to guide and critically evaluate the scientific support process and aid the transfer of this knowledge through case studies.

Abstract: India is dominantly a country of villages. There is a great necessity for transmitting latest scientific knowledge about agriculture and related fields among the farming communities. Today we have many problems- high rate of illiteracy, accelerating population growth which eats into any gain that educational expansion may bring, increasing pressures on admissions at all stages, explosion in knowledge necessitating change and review of curricula and teaching method, urban – rural imbalance, wastage in education need for raising standards and the criterion of an environment favourable to social change and capable of softening its harsher incidences. The mass media are supremly adapted to adult education. Radio is the transmission and reception of signals by means of electric waves without the use of connection wires. Therefore, this study was undertaken with a view to find out relative effectiveness of three mode of presentation

The article discusses the transition to a new stage of civilization, the knowledge society. In the modern world, knowledge is one of the major socio-economic resources for both the individual and the state. Accordingly, the educational strategy of any higher educational institution should be refocused to ensure smooth transition from the traditional model to innovative in order to prepare the modern student for a life in the society where innovation and intellectual resources play the major role. The modern library can act as a control centre of knowledge, integrate with the world information resources and mediate for the user in global information space using the tools and mechanisms of the electronic library. In this regard, the e-library becomes a knowledge management centre focused on the development and maximum use of intellectual potential of library for the purpose of preservation, reproduction, building up and broadcasting of knowledge. The article analyses the opportunities which are given by electronic library for the University. The authors constructed the scheme of interrelation of knowledge and information resources. The article considers the concept of proactive electronic library of the University as a system of information service of readers, the main purpose of which is to provide resources in any form and on any carrier using the classical and network forms of services based on the advanced inquiry services. The authors constructed the model of proactive University library, which is a complex system, incorporating elements of various properties and complexity. The proactive electronic library itself searches for information corresponding to the information needs of the user, without waiting for his request; that can influence the development of his information needs. Thus, the library transforms from a passive storage of information into an interaction partner. Information is automatically selected for the user, relevant to his educational and scientific interests, hobbies and preferred leisure.

Online platforms have become the primary source of information about scientific advances for the wider public. As online dissemination of scientific findings increasingly influences personal decision-making and government action, there is a growing necessity and interest in studying how people disseminate research findings online beyond one individual platform. In this paper, we study the simultaneous diffusion of scientific articles across major online platforms based on 63 million mentions of about 7.2 million articles spanning a 7-year period. First, we find commonalities between people sharing science and other content such as news articles and memes. Specifically, we find recurring bursts in the coverage of individual articles with initial bursts co-occurring in time across platforms. This allows for a ranking of individual platforms based on the speed at which they pick up scientific information. Second, we explore specifics of sharing science. We reconstruct the likely underlying structure of information diffusion and investigate the transfer of information about scientific articles within and across different platforms. In particular, we (i) study the role of different users in the dissemination of information to better understand who are the prime sharers of knowledge, (ii) explore the propagation of articles between platforms, and (iii) analyze the structural virality of individual information cascades to place science sharing on the spectrum between pure broadcasting and peer-to-peer diffusion. Our work provides the broadest study to date about the sharing of science online and builds the basis for an informed model of the dynamics of research coverage across platforms.

The study of the production and distribution of cartoon series in France between 1975 and 1997 is the issue of this PhD. The chronological limits of our study start from the break-up of the ORTF until the year of the consolidation of the use of the computer as an effective production tool in animation. For the analysis of the series, we put in parallel the social, political, economic and technoscientific contexts of the time. The issues and policies arising from this context are very diverse. First, the context of the cold war and the conquest of space lead to a global policy of promoting sciences and technologies. Then, in France, the political changes resulting from the election of François Mitterand lead to technical and economic changes which influence the evolution of French television. The French culture of promoting knowledge on television through the missions of informing, educating and entertaining cannot be ignored. Finally, partnerships with the Japanese (broadcasting of Japanese series on French channels and co-production and subcontracting contracts) have a great influence on the aesthetics and narratives of French productions. To lay down the production costs, the aesthetics of celluloid cartoon is essential. All of these issues influence the way French television animated series are made and the way they portray scientific myths. We are therefore trying to understand the influences of social, political, economic and technological contexts on the stories and aesthetics in the series "made in France". Furthermore, TV is one of the vectors of sciences dissemination to the general public ; Sci-Fi stories are a privileged way of presenting this technoscientific future. In addition, these stories mixed with the cartoon techniques attract more attention from young audiences. As part of this research, we are focusing in particular on the series produced by the Procidis studios - Il était une fois... l'Homme (1978), Il était une fois… l'Espace (1981), Il était une fois... la Vie (1986), Il était une fois... les Amériques (1991), Il était une fois... les Découvreurs (1994) et Il était une fois... les Explorateurs (1996) ; and those produced by the DIC studios - Ulysse 31 (1981) and Les Mystérieuses cités d’or (1982). Their tech-savvy speeches apparently have a promotional objective that tends to prepare minds for new markets related to sciences and technologies

Abstract This chapter examines the technologies and infrastructures of twentieth-century international broadcasting. It argues that global scientific networks and transfers of knowledge and expertise underpinned the wireless world. It considers how these networks and connections changed over time, and how some parts of the globe were better integrated than others. Continuing this focus on hierarchy and inequalities, it also considers the impact of different levels of access to radio around the globe, and availability of the technologies required to provide entry into the wireless world. It explores how global radio production patterns changed over time, making key equipment—particularly transistor radio sets and batteries—more available in the Global South. It also suggests that historians should consider the environmental costs of international broadcasting. Case studies look at amateur short-wave radio enthusiasts—‘DX-ers’—in the 1920s and 1930s, and at the built infrastructure of Dutch international broadcasting.

Music is universally a key part of life, with a diversity of styles and usage from love songs to warfare and religion. The variations are immense, and always changing. This introduction has a historical outline, with a rapid overview of early instruments and music. Music developed partly from a gradual relaxation of religious control of what was acceptable. The Renaissance in art and literature contributed, but they require language and knowledge of the symbolisms. Music has none of these restrictions, and our responses are totally personal. There has been a major role of scientific inputs into instruments, concert halls, distribution of music via printing and notation, plus the electronics of recorded music and broadcasting. These factors altered compositional styles. The following chapters will expand on these highly diverse and numerous scientific and technological features and their musical consequences.

In today's world where almost every day there is some form of technological progress, is also increasing the need for experimentation with new knowledge or proposals. Modelling and simulation of systems which operating in the real world, is currently dedicated considerable attention. Reasons to modelling and simulation of the imitation of reality are many. This could be, for example economic factors when the cost of creating the model is much lower than experiments on the entire system. The advantage of the model is also variability in the time, if we can real storyline to follow an accelerated or slow. In all scientific disciplines and industrial spheres represent simulations using simplified conceptual models an important role in achieving progress and new solutions. Simulation of the behaviour of Electrical components, such as example multiplexor allows us to understand its purpose and versatile using in the world of electronics and in processing data signals. The issue of multiplexing is in our country more actual, due to recent transition from analog television broadcasting to digital. More and more we come into contact with concepts such as multiplexing or multiplex. In this article we present a model "Code Lock", which is realized with using multiple multiplexers. After a comprehensive theoretical analysis of the problem which involves creating computer models and simulations, theoretical description of the multiplexer and the categorization of logic circuits followed by a practical section and its results. Demonstration and functional analysis of behaviour is realised in the development environment LabVIEW. LabVIEW is product, which is long-time developed in the field of modelling and simulation, programming in this laboratory virtual environment is realised with using a simple graphical programming language. LabVIEW as a multifunctional tool in the area of modelling and simulation provides ideal conditions for achieving practical goals in this area.

The changing socio-economic situation in the modern world has led to the need to modernize the education, rethink theoretical approaches and the accumulated practice of educational institutions in the Republic of Tajikistan. The main direction of the strategic development of Tajikistan in modern conditions is comprehensive modernization, the key prerequisite of which is the presence of social actors with innovative potential and opportunities for its implementation. Creating a solid base for the successful development of modernization processes is impossible without the participation of the higher education system in this process. Modern information technologies are actively being introduced into the educational process in the Republic of Tajikistan. Educational institutions are equipped with a variety of network equipment and computer equipment, allowing them to integrate into the worldwide Internet. All this has changed the distance learning and made it really effective in the modern world. The proliferation of "fast Internet" made it possible to use audio and video broadcasting, audio and video conferencing, online conferences, webcasts, as well as online simulators and game managers that simulate learning processes that give basic management skills to both a small company and large. Today there is no need to prove that the twenty-first century, admittedly, is becoming the century of globalization and the erasure of borders, information and communication technologies and the Internet. Modern society is involved in the general historical process, called "informatization". Tajikistan is creating the prerequisites for the development of distance learning, creating bases for the development of multimedia lessons and video lessons, the opportunity for videoconferencing, a number of projects being implemented. Currently, already some higher educational and scientific institutions of the country are connected to the educational portal and the Internet, which allows introducing into the educational process methods of distance learning, a wide range of information and communication services for students. The Republic of Tajikistan has set itself the goal - to create the necessary opportunities and conditions for our children to grow up fully and harmoniously developed people with the most modern intellectual knowledge, people who fully meet the requirements of the XXI century in which they will live and work.
