People can accurately describe an image by constantly referring to the visual information and key text information of the image. Inspired by this idea, we propose the VTR-PTM (Visual-Text Reference Pretraining Model) for image captioning. First, based on the pretraining model (BERT/UNIML), we design the dual-stream input mode of image reference and text reference and use two different mask modes (bidirectional and sequence to sequence) to realize the VTR-PTM suitable for generating tasks. Second, the target dataset is used to fine tune the VTR-PTM. To the best of our knowledge, VTR-PTM is the first reported pretraining model to use visual-text references in the learning process. To evaluate the model, we conduct several experiments on the benchmark datasets of image captioning, including MS COCO and Visual Genome, and achieve significant improvements on most metrics. In this study, two types of particle tracking models were presented to investigate the applicability in the two-dimensional solute mixing simulations. The conventional particle tracking model, denoted as PTM, was developed based on Fick’s law, which adopted the dispersion coefficient to calculate the random displacements. The other model is the particle dispersion model (PDM), which computes the shear dispersion process by dividing into two computation procedures as the shear translation and the vertical mixing. The PTM and the PDM included the effects of vertical profiles of velocity in the computation of dispersion coefficients and the shear translation step, respectively. The main difference between the two models is whether the shear dispersion process is reproduced using Fick’s law or the direct computation method. These differences were clearly revealed by comparing with the analytic solution of the advection-dispersion equation. The concentration curve resulting from the PTM shows the Gaussian curves, which were well-fitted with the analytic solution in both initial and Taylor periods. Meanwhile, the PDM presented skewed curves in the initial period and gradually turned to the symmetric shape in the Taylor period. The inherent differences of the two particle tracking models were scrutinized against the two-dimensional tracer test results, which show the non-Fickian mixing properties. The comparisons of concentration–time curves reveal that the PDM reproduced a more accurate shape of the curves than the results by the PTM by demonstrating skewed concentration curves.

Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM) dapat dicegah dengan mengendalikan factor resikonya. Upaya untuk menunjang program pemerintah dalam pengendalian factor resiko PTM serta terlaksananya pencegahan dan pengendalian factor resiko PTM berbasis peran serta masyarakat secara terpadu, rutin dan periodic maka diperlukan strategi khusus yaitu dengan pendidikan dan pelatihan kader Posbindu PTM. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi perubahan perilaku peserta Diklat Kader Posbindu PTM angkatan I dalam menerapkan hasil belajarnya pada pelaksanaan tugas sebagai kader Posbindu PTM di wilayah kerjanya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengevaluasi perubahan perilaku peserta Diklat Kader Posbindu PTM I dengan metode evaluasi Kicrpatrick tahap tiga dengan sumber data peserta diklat, kader Posbindu PTM dan PJ PTM di tempat peserta Diklat Kader Posbindu PTM I. Pengambilan data secara daring dengan google drive dan observasi oleh enumerator. Pengambilan data dilakukan sepuluh (10) bulan setelah pelatihan. Hampir seluruh peserta diklat telah menindaklanjuti Rencana Tindak Lanjut yang telah dibuat yaitu pelaporan, sosialisasi, dan penyusunan rencana kerja. Sebagian besar peserta diklat telah melaksanakan upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian Faktor Resiko PTM secara preventif, promotif, deteksi dini dan monitoring serta pelaksanaan rujukan pada warga dengan resiko dan melaksanakan pencatatan dan pelaporan. Posbindu PTM merupakan wujud peran serta masyarakat dalam kegiatan deteksi dini, monitoring dan tindak lanjut dini factor resiko PTM secara mandiri dan berkesinambungan. Pelatihan diperlukan untuk pengembangan diri kader agar penyelenggaraan Posbindu menjadi lebih efekltif oleh karena itu diperlukan evaluasi pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang efektifitas dan tingkat ketercapaian dari suatu pendidikan dan pelatihan.

In a previous work, a parsimonious topic model (PTM) was proposed for text corpora. In that work, unlike LDA, the modeling determined a subset of salient words for each topic, with topic-specific probabilities, with the rest of the words in the dictionary explained by a universal shared model. Further, in LDA all topics are in principle present in every document. In contrast, PTM gives sparse topic representation, determining the (small) subset of relevant topics for each document. A customized Bayesian information criterion (BIC) was derived, balancing model complexity and goodness of fit, with the BIC minimized to jointly determine the entire model—the topic-specific words, document-specific topics, all model parameter values, and the total number of topics—in a wholly unsupervised fashion. In the present work, several important modeling and algorithm (parameter learning) extensions of PTM are proposed. First, we modify the BIC objective function using a lossless coding scheme with low modeling cost for describing words that are non-salient for all topics—such words are essentially identified as wholly noisy/uninformative. This approach increases the PTM’s model sparsity, which also allows model selection of more topics and with lower BIC cost than the original PTM. Second, in the original PTM model learning strategy, word switches were updated sequentially, which is myopic and susceptible to finding poor locally optimal solutions. Here, instead, we jointly optimize all the switches that correspond to the same word (across topics). This approach jointly optimizes many more parameters at each step than the original PTM, which in principle should be less susceptible to finding poor local minima. Results on several document data sets show that our proposed method outperformed the original PTM model with respect to multiple performance measures, and gave a sparser topic model representation than the original PTM.

Abstract At present the processing power of the digital electronic chip is enormous and that has been possible because of the continuous improvement of the design methodology and fabrication technology. So, the data processing capability of the chip is increased significantly. Data processing in the electronic chip means the arithmetic operation on that data. For that reason, ALU is present in any processor. Full adder is one of the critical components of arithmetic unit. Improvement of the full adder is necessary for improving the computational performance of a chip. In order to design an efficient full adder, designer should choose an appropriate logic style. In this research, two new model of full-adder circuits are designed and analyzed using Pass Transistor logic in order to reduce power consumption and increase operational speed. The first proposed adder consists of 8 transistors and the second one consists of 10 transistors. LTSPICE is employed for simulating the proposed circuits using16nm low power high-k strained silicon transistor model. The overall performance of the proposed adder circuits and comparative results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed model.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a chronic liver disease affecting about 25% of world population, while there are still no approved targeted therapies. Although platensimycin (PTM) was first discovered to be a broad-spectrum antibiotic, it was also effective against type II diabetes in animal models due to its ability to inhibit both bacterial and mammalian fatty acid synthases (FASN). Herein, we report the pharmacological effect and potential mode of action of PTM against NAFLD in a Western diet/CCI4-induced mouse model and a free fatty acids (FFAs)-induced HepG2 cell model. The proper dose of PTM and its liposome-based nano-formulations not only significantly attenuated the Western diet-induced weight gain and the levels of plasma total triglycerides and glucose, but reduced liver steatosis in mice according to histological analyses. Western blotting analysis showed a reduced protein level of FASN in the mouse liver, suggesting that PTM intervened in the development of NAFLD through FASN inhibition. PTM reduced both the protein and mRNA levels of FASN in FFAs-induced HepG2 cells, as well as the expression of several key proteins in lipogenesis, including sterol regulatory element binding protein-1, acetyl-CoA carboxylase, and stearoyl-CoA desaturase. The expression of lipid oxidation-related genes, including peroxisome proliferator activated receptor α and acyl-CoA oxidase 1, was significantly elevated. In conclusion, our study supports the reposition of PTM to intervene in NAFLD progression, since it could effectively inhibit de novo lipogenesis.

Post-translational glycosylation and glycation are common types of protein post-translational modifications (PTMs) in which glycan binds to protein enzymatically or nonenzymatically, respectively. They are associated with various diseases such as coronavirus, Alzheimer’s, cancer, and diabetes diseases. Identifying glycosylation and glycation sites is significant to understanding their biological mechanisms. However, utilizing experimental laboratory tools to identify PTM sites is time-consuming and costly. In contrast, computational methods based on machine learning are becoming increasingly essential for PTM site prediction due to their higher performance and lower cost. In recent years, advances in Transformer-based Language Models based on deep learning have been transferred from Natural Language Processing (NLP) into the proteomics field by developing language models for protein sequence representation known as Protein Language Models (PLMs). In this work, we proposed a novel method, PTG-PLM, for improving the performance of PTM glycosylation and glycation site prediction. PTG-PLM is based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and embedding extracted from six recent PLMs including ProtBert-BFD, ProtBert, ProtAlbert, ProtXlnet, ESM-1b, and TAPE. The model is trained and evaluated on two public datasets for glycosylation and glycation site prediction. The results show that PTG-PLM based on ESM-1b and ProtBert-BFD has better performance than PTG-PLM based on the other PLMs. Comparison results with the existing tools and representative supervised learning methods show that PTG-PLM surpasses the other models for glycosylation and glycation site prediction. The outstanding performance results of PTG-PLM indicate that it can be used to predict the sites of the other types of PTMs.

Identification of phosphorylated peptides takes into account factors relevant in matching, building models, and score algorithms. In the paper we make a detailed comparative analysis among various phosphorylation identification methods, and study current mainstream algorithms in database searching and identification, and compares various aspects and methods of algorithms in site assessment. Based on the theory of forward-reverse databases searching, It is proposed a new score model to ensure the quality of identification. Our result shows that PTM and Mascot score models were strongly correlated and complementated in their differentiation abilities. Therefore, PTM and Mascot score models can be combined to filter peptide.

Abstract The two-way Lagrangian particle-tracking model (PTM) is proposed for specifying sources of objects drifting with random-walk processes on the sea surface. First, to determine object source candidates, modeled particles are released from the point (hereafter, “receptor”) where an observer finds the objects using a backward-in-time PTM with modeled ocean currents of which directions are reversed in sign. Second, the modeled particles are released from these source candidates in a forward-in-time PTM using ocean currents originally computed in hydrographic models. Third, the source candidates are considered to be reliable at a 5% significance level if the observed receptor is located inside the ellipse whose center is the mean position of the modeled particles at the time when the observer found the objects and whose axis length is twice the standard deviation computed using all modeled particle positions. The two-way PTM experiments are carried out in a realistic hydrographic model over the East China Sea shelf for the period from June through August 2004. Statistically significant sources are well specified close to the true source because 58%–90% of source candidates are rejected in the experiments.

The “psychic tonus” model or PTM [1] of hemispheric specialization states that the left hemisphere is a psychic and behavioral activator and that the right hemisphere is an inhibitor. The PTM predicts that the tonus of visual representation ought to manifest hemispheric specialization in the occipital lobes. Specifically PTM predicts that pathological positive visual tonus (visual hallucination) ought to be associated more frequently with right occipital lesions. PTM also predicts that pathological negative visual tonus (loss of visual imagery) ought to result more often from left occipital lesions. We reviewed 78 cases of post lesion hallucination and 12 cases of post lesion loss of evocation of images, all following a unilateral lesion. Analyses of these relevant previously published cases support the predictions. In accordance with previously published demonstrations of hemispheric specialization for auditory tonus in the temporal lobes and for somesthetic tonus in the parietal lobes, the present findings extend the psychic tonus model of hemispheric specialization to vision in the occipital lobes.

Posbindu Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM) belum terbentuk di Desa Rambeanak. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam pencegahan dan mengendalikan penyakit tersebut adalah pemberdayaan kader kesehatan desa, melalui Posbindu PTM. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah menginisiasi pembentukan Posbindu PTM untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader sehingga dapat meningkatkan partisipasi warga memeriksakan kesehatannya. Strategi yang digunakan adalah dengan sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan kegiatan serta monitoring evaluasi kegiatan. Metode pelaksanaan dengan pemberdayaan masyarakat partisipatif, model Participatory Rural Apraissal. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan di Desa Rambeanak selama kurun waktu 2 bulan melalui kerja sama dengan Puskesmas Mungkid. Hasil kegiatan ini berupa terbentuknya pengurus Posbindu PTM yang disahkan melalui SK Kepala Desa pada 15 orang kader dari 3 dusun, pelatihan pada kader Posbindu tentang penyakit tidak menular dan pencegahannya, manajemen Posbindu PTM, terapi akupresur pada PTM, pelatihan penggunaan alat pemeriksaan kesehatan, dan simulasi 5 meja Posbindu PTM. Setelah itu dilakukan pendampingan pelaksanaan Posbindu PTM sebanyak 3 kali di Dusun Ponggok, Dusun Rambeanak 5 dan Dusun Jambean. Hasil evaluasi berupa peningkatan pengetahuan dari pre-test pada nilai cukup 67% menjadi 0%, nilai baik dari 33% menjadi 53%, sedangkan nilai sangat baik dari 0% menjadi 47%. Pada kegiatan pendampingan, seluruh kader sudah terampil menggunakan alat pemeriksaan kesehatan dan melakukan wawancara dan konseling. Partisipasi warga juga tinggi, tiap kegiatan warga yang memeriksakan diri sekitar 30 orang. Dengan demikian, pembentukan kader Posbindu PTM dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kader serta meningkatkan partisipasi warga dalam pemeriksaan kesehatannya.

The mortality rate due to non-communicable diseases (PTM) in Indonesia is higher than the global death rate. The non-communicable disease information system (SI-PTM) was created to assist programmers in facilitating their work. This study aims to evaluate the acceptance of the information system needed to determine the user's desire to use the SI-PTM. This research is an observational study. Respondents in this study were Semarang City Health Center officers who were appointed as operators of the non-communicable disease information system (SI-PTM). Data were collected using a questionnaire containing the technology acceptance model (TAM) indicators. This analysis aims to describe user acceptance of SI-PTM as well as maturity level using TAM indicators, namely perceptions of usefulness, perceived convenience, attitudes, and intentions to use information systems. In conclusion, the majority of respondents stated that non-communicable disease information systems provide benefits in facilitating reporting and monitoring of non-communicable disease cases in the city of Semarang.

Berubahnya sistem pendidikan dari daring menjadi PTM, kembali memberikan tantangan bagi guru agar dapat mencapai capaian pembelajaran peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesiapan dari guru PAUD dalam pelaksanaan PTM terbatas dari segi internal ataupun eksternal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan observasi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru kelas and kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian yaitu persiapan guru dalam pelaksanaan PTM terbatas pada segi internal dengan strategi bermain sambil belajar dan menggunakan alat peraga edukatif yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, menggunakan model pembelajaran kelompok, serta teknik pembelajaran yang dilakukan sesuai dengan kurikulum masa pandemi. Sedangkan dari segi eksternalnya sekolah mempersiapkan sarana dan prasarana seperti hand sanitizier, thermogun, tissue, dan tempat cuci tangan dalam pelaksanaan PTM. Kesiapan pelaksanaan PTM di sekolah sudah berjalan dengan lancar, guru sudah siap dengan mempertimbangkan strategi yang tepat dalam mengembangkan kompetensi dan kesehatan peserta didik di masa pandemi covid-19.

Abstract Lysine post-translational modifications (PTMs) play a crucial role in regulating diverse functions and biological processes of proteins. However, because of the large volumes of sequencing data generated from genome-sequencing projects, systematic identification of different types of lysine PTM substrates and PTM sites in the entire proteome remains a major challenge. In recent years, a number of computational methods for lysine PTM identification have been developed. These methods show high diversity in their core algorithms, features extracted and feature selection techniques and evaluation strategies. There is therefore an urgent need to revisit these methods and summarize their methodologies, to improve and further develop computational techniques to identify and characterize lysine PTMs from the large amounts of sequence data. With this goal in mind, we first provide a comprehensive survey on a large collection of 49 state-of-the-art approaches for lysine PTM prediction. We cover a variety of important aspects that are crucial for the development of successful predictors, including operating algorithms, sequence and structural features, feature selection, model performance evaluation and software utility. We further provide our thoughts on potential strategies to improve the model performance. Second, in order to examine the feasibility of using deep learning for lysine PTM prediction, we propose a novel computational framework, termed MUscADEL (Multiple Scalable Accurate Deep Learner for lysine PTMs), using deep, bidirectional, long short-term memory recurrent neural networks for accurate and systematic mapping of eight major types of lysine PTMs in the human and mouse proteomes. Extensive benchmarking tests show that MUscADEL outperforms current methods for lysine PTM characterization, demonstrating the potential and power of deep learning techniques in protein PTM prediction. The web server of MUscADEL, together with all the data sets assembled in this study, is freely available at http://muscadel.erc.monash.edu/. We anticipate this comprehensive review and the application of deep learning will provide practical guide and useful insights into PTM prediction and inspire future bioinformatics studies in the related fields.

Mining processes generate waste rock, tailings, and slag that can increase potentially toxic metal (PTM) concentrations in soils. Un-reclaimed, abandoned mine sites are particularly prone to leaching these contaminants, which may accumulate and pose significant environmental and public health concerns. The characterization and spatial delineation of PTMs in soils is vital for risk assessment and soil reclamation. Bumpus Cove, a once active mining district of eastern Tennessee, is home to at least 47 abandoned, un-reclaimed mines, all permanently closed by the 1950s. This study evaluated soil physicochemical properties, determined the spatial extent of PTMs (Zn, Mn, Cu, Pb, and Cd), and examined the influence of soil properties on PTM distribution in Bumpus Cove, TN. Soil samples (n = 52) were collected from a 0.67 km2 study area containing 6 known abandoned Pb, Zn, and Mn mines at the headwaters of Bumpus Cove Creek. Samples were analyzed for Zn, Mn, Cu, Pb, and Cd by microwave-assisted acid digestion and flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) (12–1,354 mg/kg Zn, 6–2,574 mg/kg Mn, 1–65 mg/kg Cu, 33–2,271 mg/kg Pb, and 7–40 mg/kg Cd). Of the measured PTMs, only Pb exceeds permissible limits in soils. In addition to the PTM analyses, soil physical (texture, moisture content, and bulk density) and chemical (pH, cation exchange capacity (CEC), and total organic carbon (TOC)) properties were evaluated. Spatially weighted multivariate regression models developed for all PTMs using soil physicochemical properties produced improved results over ordinary least squares (OLS) regression models. Models for Zn (R2 = 0.71) and Pb (R2 = 0.69) retained covariates epH, moisture content, and CEC (Zn), and pH and CEC (Pb). This study will help define PTM concentration and transport and provide a reference for state and local entities responsible for contaminant monitoring in Bumpus Cove, TN.

A polyampholytic superabsorbent polymer (PASAP), sodium alginate-g-(polyacrylic acid-co-allyltrimethylammonium chloride) (SA-g-(PAA-co-PTM)), was prepared by free-radical graft copolymerization and characterized. The polymer exhibited pH-dependent swelling behaviors with extremely high swelling ratios, and was saline tolerant. The dye adsorption properties of SA-g-(PAA-co-PTM) were investigated using methylene blue (MB) as a cationic dye model. It was found that its dye adsorption capacity was significantly affected by the TM content in PASAP and pH of dye solution. The dye adsorption kinetics and isotherm obey the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and the Langmuir isotherm model, respectively, and the adsorption process is chemisorption in nature. In addition, SA-g-(PAA-co-PTM) exhibited high MB adsorption capacities in a wide pH range and reusability in at least five adsorption-desorption cycles, indicating its great application potentials as the adsorbent for dye removals from effluents.

Probabilistic transfer matrix (PTM) is a widely used model in the reliability research of circuits. However, PTM model cannot reflect the impact of input signals on reliability, so it does not completely conform to the mechanism of the novel field-coupled nanoelectronic device which is called quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA). It is difficult to get accurate results when PTM model is used to analyze the reliability of QCA circuits. To solve this problem, we present the fault tree models of QCA fundamental devices according to different input signals. After that, the binary decision diagram (BDD) is used to quantitatively investigate the reliability of two QCA XOR gates depending on the presented models. By employing the fault tree models, the impact of input signals on reliability can be identified clearly and the crucial components of a circuit can be found out precisely based on the importance values (IVs) of components. So this method is contributive to the construction of reliable QCA circuits.

Abstract Pebble Fuel is a spherical fuel for high temperature gas-cooled reactors (HTGR). This fuel must have a homogeneous density distribution. Hyperelastic material is used as a pressure transmitting medium (PTM) material in making Pebble fuel using the cold quasi-isostatic pressing method. PTM material properties and characteristics were predicted using the finite element analysis method. The problem is the type of material used and its suitable composition to make a pressure-transmitting medium that has the properties and characteristics of the material as predicted. This research discusses the manufacture of tensile specimens for pressure-emitting media using RTV-586 silicone rubber. The composition comprises three different variants with two major ingredients, namely RTV-586 silicone rubber and catalyst. The test results are then analyzed using the finite element method to determine the material composition that is appropriate or close to the predicted properties and characteristics of the PTM material. This initial study used the Mooney-Rivlin hyperelastic model. The Mooney-Rivlin model shows good similarity to the test result data. In future studies, it will make comparisons with other hyperelastic models to get a suitable PTM material constant.

The novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, the causative agent of COVID-19 disease, has killed over five million people worldwide as of December 2021 with infections rising again due to the emergence of highly transmissible variants. Animal models that faithfully recapitulate human disease are critical for assessing SARS-CoV-2 viral and immune dynamics, for understanding mechanisms of disease, and for testing vaccines and therapeutics. Pigtail macaques (PTM, Macaca nemestrina) demonstrate a rapid and severe disease course when infected with simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV), including the development of severe cardiovascular symptoms that are pertinent to COVID-19 manifestations in humans. We thus proposed this species may likewise exhibit severe COVID-19 disease upon infection with SARS-CoV-2. Here, we extensively studied a cohort of SARS-CoV-2-infected PTM euthanized either 6- or 21-days after respiratory viral challenge. We show that PTM demonstrate largely mild-to-moderate COVID-19 disease. Pulmonary infiltrates were dominated by T cells, including CD4+ T cells that upregulate CD8 and express cytotoxic molecules, as well as virus-targeting T cells that were predominantly CD4+. We also noted increases in inflammatory and coagulation markers in blood, pulmonary pathologic lesions, and the development of neutralizing antibodies. Together, our data demonstrate that SARS-CoV-2 infection of PTM recapitulates important features of COVID-19 and reveals new immune and viral dynamics and thus may serve as a useful animal model for studying pathogenesis and testing vaccines and therapeutics.

We have developed a mathematical model for a tracheal ring that consists of a “horseshoe” of cartilage with its tips joined by a membrane. The ring is subjected to a uniform transmural pressure (Ptm) difference. The model was used to calculate the cross-sectional area ( A) of the trachea. Whereas the mechanics of the deformation of the cartilage were analyzed using elastica theory, the posterior membrane was treated as a simple membrane that is inextensible under changes in Ptm. The membrane can be specified to be of any length less than baseline and thus can represent a posterior membrane under tension. The cartilage can have specifiable nonuniform unstressed curvature as well as nonuniform bending stiffness. We have investigated the effect on the tracheal A-Ptm curve of posterior membrane length and tensile force in the membrane, cartilage shape and elasticity, and localized weakening of the cartilage. The model predictions are in good agreement with magnetic resonance imaging data from rabbit tracheas and show that the shape of the horseshoe as well as the posterior membrane force are important determinants of tracheal compliance.

Carbon dioxide can influence cell phenotypes through the modulation of signalling pathways. CO 2 regulates cellular processes as diverse as metabolism, cellular homeostasis, chemosensing and pathogenesis. This diversity of regulated processes suggests a broadly conserved mechanism for CO 2 interactions with diverse cellular targets. CO 2 is generally unreactive but can interact with neutral amines on protein under normal intracellular conditions to form a carbamate post-translational modification (PTM). We have previously demonstrated the presence of this PTM in a subset of protein produced by the model plant species Arabidopsis thaliana . Here, we describe a detailed methodology for identifying new carbamate PTMs in an extracted soluble proteome under biologically relevant conditions. We apply this methodology to the soluble proteome of the model prokaryote Escherichia coli and identify new carbamate PTMs . The application of this methodology, therefore, supports the hypothesis that the carbamate PTM is both more widespread in biology than previously suspected and may represent a broadly relevant mechanism for CO 2 –protein interactions.

In this paper, we evaluate the quality of reconstruction i.e. relighting from images obtained by a newly developed multispectral reflectance transformation imaging (MS-RTI) system. The captured MS-RTI images are of objects with different translucency and color. We use the most common methods for relighting the objects: polynomial texture mapping (PTM) and hemispherical harmonics (HSH), as well as the recent discrete model decomposition (DMD). The results show that all three models can reconstruct the images of translucent materials, with the reconstruction error varying with translucency but still in the range of what has been reported for other non-translucent materials. DMD relighted images are marginally better for the most transparent objects, while HSH- and PTM- relighted images appear to be better for the opaquer objects. The estimation of the surface normals of highly translucent objects using photometric stereo is not very accurate. Utilizing the peak of the fitted angular reflectance field, the relighting models, especially PTM, can provide more accurate estimation of the surface normals.

There are currently various algorithms with mass spectrometry in phosphorylation identification. Some quality control methods have also been proposed. However, a detailed comparative analysis among various methods has not been reported. In the paper, based on the theory of forward-reverse databases searching, we compare current major algorithms in database searching and identification i.e Mascot and Sequest, and compare various aspects and methods of algorithms in site assessment. We propose an effictive quality control method. Our result shows that this method can ensure the quality of identification and identify more phosphorylation sites.

This study aimed to determine the effect of breed and season on the semen quality of AI bulls. The material used was n= 78,648 records of ejaculated semen from 85 Limousine and 88 Simmental bulls collected between period 2010 and 2020. Semen qualities evaluated in the study were: ejaculate vol-ume (Vol), pH, individual sperm motility (ISM), sperm concentration (SC), and post-thawing motility (PTM). The data was analyzed by using a MIXED model with breeds and seasons as fixed effects and animals as random effects. The seasons were significant (p<0,05) on Vol, ISM, SC, and PTM, then the interaction between season and breed was affected on Vol, SC, and PTM. Simmental bulls generally showed better semen qualities than Limousine bulls. Further, the same result showed significant differ-ences in each season. The Vol, ISM, SC, and PTM of Simmental were 6.48 ± 1.26, 64.22 ± 1.16, 1,108 ± 0.46, and 42.19 ± 0.38, respectively. The increase of Vol and SC in the humid season has not propor-tionally affected ISM.

Model studies have been conducted to investigate the potential coral reef exposure from proposed dredging associated with development of a new deepwater wharf in outer Apra Harbor, Guam. The Particle Tracking Model (PTM) was applied to quantify the exposure of coral reefs to material suspended by the dredging operations at proposed sites. Key PTM features include the flexible capability of continuous multiple releases of sediment parcels, control of parcel/substrate interaction, and the ability to track vast numbers of parcels efficiently. This flexibility has allowed for model simulation of the combined effects of sediment release from clamshell dredging, of chiseling to fracture limestone blocks, of silt curtains, and of flocculation. Because the rate of material released into the water column by some of the processes is not well understood or a priori known, the modeling protocol was to bracket parameters within reasonable ranges to produce a suite of potential results from multiple model runs. Data analysis results include mapping the time histories and the maximum values of suspended sediment concentration and deposition rate. Following exposure modeling, the next phase of the analysis has been an ecological assessment to translate the PTM exposure level predictions into predicted amounts of coral reef damage. The level of potential coral reef impact will be an important component of the final selection process for the new deepwater berthing site.

In the present work, a critical analysis of the most-commonly used analytical models and recently introduced ANN-based models was performed to evaluate their predictive accuracy within and outside the experimental interval used to generate them. The high-temperature deformation behavior of a medium carbon steel was studied over a wide range of strains, strain rates, and temperatures using hot compression tests on a Gleeble-3800. The experimental flow curves were modeled using the Johnson–Cook, Modified-Zerilli–Armstrong, Hansel–Spittel, Arrhenius, and PTM models, as well as an ANN model. The mean absolute relative error and root-mean-squared error values were used to quantify the predictive accuracy of the models analyzed. The results indicated that the Johnson–Cook and Modified-Zerilli–Armstrong models had a significant error, while the Hansel–Spittel, PTM, and Arrhenius models were able to predict the behavior of this alloy. The ANN model showed excellent agreement between the predicted and experimental flow curves, with an error of less than 0.62%. To validate the performance, the ability to interpolate and extrapolate the experimental data was also tested. The Hansel–Spittel, PTM, and Arrhenius models showed good interpolation and extrapolation capabilities. However, the ANN model was the most-powerful of all the models.

The upper airway (UA) in humans is commonly modeled as a Starling resistor. However, negative effort dependence (NED) observed in some patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) contradicts predictions based on the Starling resistor model in which inspiratory flow is independent of inspiratory driving pressure when flow is limited. In a respiratory bench model consisting of a collapsible tube and an active lung model (ASL5000), inspiratory flow characteristics were investigated in relation to upstream, downstream, and extra-luminal pressures (denoted as Pus, Pds, and Pout, respectively) by varying inspiratory effort (muscle pressure) from −1 to −20 cmH2O in the active lung. Pus was provided by a constant airway pressure device and varied from 4 to 20 cmH2O, and Pout was set at 10 and 15 cmH2O. Upstream resistance at onset of flow limitation and critical transmural pressure (Ptm) corresponding to opening of the UA were found to be independent of Pus, Pds, and Pout. With fixed Ptm, when Pds fell below a specific value (Pds′), inspiratory peak flow became constant and independent of Pds. NED plateau flow patterns at mid-inspiration (V̇n) were produced within the current bench setting when Pds fell below Pds′. V̇n was proportional to Pds, and the slope (ΔV̇n/ΔPds) increased linearly with Ptm. Ptm and Pds were the two final independent determinants of inspiratory flow. Our bench model closely mimics a flow-limited human UA, and the findings have implications for OSA treatment and research, especially for bench-testing auto-titrating devices in a more physiological way. NEW & NOTEWORTHY A respiratory model consisting of a collapsible tube was used to mimic a flow-limited human upper airway. Flow-limited breathing patterns including negative effort dependence were produced. Transmural and downstream pressures acting on the tube are the two independent determinants of the resulting inspiratory flow during flow limitation. The findings have implications for obstructive sleep apnea treatment and research, especially for bench-testing auto-titrating devices in a more physiological way.

Abstract During HIV/SIV infection, mucosal immune system dysfunction and systemic immune activation are associated with progression to AIDS, however it is unclear to what extent pre-existing gastrointestinal damage relates to disease progression after infection. Pigtail macaques (PTM) are an excellent model in which to assess mucosal dysfunction in relation to HIV/SIV pathogenesis, as the majority of these animals have high levels of gastrointestinal damage, immune activation, and microbial translocation prior to infection, and rapidly progress to AIDS upon SIV infection. Here we characterized the mucosal immune environment prior to and throughout SIV infection in 13 uninfected PTM and 9 SIV-infected PTM, of which 3 were slow progressors. This small subset of slow progressors had limited innate immune activation in mucosal tissues in the periphery, which was associated with a more intact colonic epithelial barrier. Furthermore, we found that pre-infection levels of microbial translocation, as measured by lipopolysaccharide binding protein (LBP), in PTM correlated with the rate of progression to AIDS. These data suggest that pre-existing levels of microbial translocation and gastrointestinal tract dysfunction may influence the rate of HIV disease progression.

Data from the Community and Family Health Care (CFHC) Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in 2018 indicated that 32.6% of families in Jaten had hypertension. The results of community analysis indicated that non-communicable diseases (NCDs) were a major problem in Jaten. One of the measures to control NCDs is through integrated development and coaching post (called by posbindu PTM). The target age of posbindu PTM started from adolescence which is 15 years old. Adolescents are vulnerable group. Biological and psychological changes in adolescence have consequences that can affect their health for a lifetime. Posbindu PTM in Jaten was established in March 2018,. However, the participation of the adolescents was low. Early Detection and Disease Prevention by Jaten's Adolescent Program (Protector Jaten) is designed to provide access and health services for adolescent. This program began with recruiting adolescent to be cadres and continued with cadre school. Adolescent cadres were equipped with knowledge and skills to do their duties in posbindu PTM. This study aimed to assess and explore School for Adolescent Cadres Protector Jaten to increase knowledge and skills of adolescent cadres about implementation of posbindu PTM. The design of this study was a pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test with mixed methods using the Kirkpatrick model level 1 and 2. The quantitative method was carried out using a questionnaire to 11 adolescent cadres. The qualitative method used observation to measure skills and semi-structural interviews on 5 adolescent cadres about the effect of School for Adolescent Cadres Protector Jaten. Total of 63,6% adolescent cadres were famales with range of age between 22 and 24 years old. The mean score of adolescent cadres’ knowledge was 6,5 and 8,6 for pre and post School for Adolescent Cadres Protector Jaten. There was a significant effect of School for Adolescent Cadres Protector Jaten on adolescent cadres’s knowledge (p = 0,003). There was increasing skills of adolescent cadres about the implementation of posbindu PTM. The result of interview showed that School for Adolescent Cadres Protector Jaten improved the knowledge, skill and awareness in preventing NCDs. School for Adolescent Cadres Protector Jaten increased knowledge and skills about the implementation of posbindu PTM. Adolescent cadres still require assistance in implementing posbindu PTM as well as a refreshing program to maintain the implementation of posbindu PTM.

The dynamics of human resource development is characterized by the emergence of the issue of the workers diversity that occurs in an organization or institution. Diversity is defined as the difference in competence and individual attributes among lecturers within an institution. So with the issue , the objective of the research is Human Resource performance development based on Intellectual Capital. While the specific goals to be achieved to identify, analyze, and prove the contribution of intellectual capital development model as a process in supporting the performance of caturdharma lecturer of Muhammadiyah University (PTM) in South Sulawesi.The research population is Lecturer of Muhammadiyah Universities in South Sulawesi with 158 lecturers selected by multistage sampling technique by using the method of descriptive statistic and Structural Equation Model (SEM).The research found that the intellectual capital development model of Muhammadiyah university lecturer (PTM) in South Sulawesi was done through formal education method in the form of further study, non-formal education in the form of training, and education of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan values in the form of Baitul Arqam. The intellectual capital development model of lecturers through formal education, non-formal education, and Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan values education has not directly contributed to improving the performance of the tridharma of higher education.

Objektif: Perilaku prososial penting untuk diukur pada anak usia sekolah karena sangat rentan untuk munculnya perilaku bermasalah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengadaptasi alat ukur PTM versi bahasa Indonesia dengan psychometric property yang baik.Metode: Metode penelitian kuantitatif dilakukan dalam 2 tahap yaitu studi translasi dan validasi. 373 partisipan berusia 9-12 tahun (M = 10.31) dipilih melalui cluster sampling untuk mengisi kuesioner untuk mengukur validitas dan reliabilitas melalui internal consistency. Temuan: Hasil perhitungan internal consistency alat ukur PTM menunjukkan α = 0.881 dan hasil uji validitas dengan menggunakan CFA menunjukkan model good fit (RMSEA = 0.045, CFI = 0.94). Hasil uji reliabilitas di setiap dimensi yaitu altruism (α = 0.623), compliant (α = 0.496), emotional (α = 0.582), public (α = 0.482), dan dire (α = 0.361). Hanya dimensi anonymous yang sudah reliable (α = 0.729).Kesimpulan: Alat ukur PTM versi bahasa Indonesia valid dan reliable. Meskipun begitu, sebagian besar dimensi masih memiliki reliabilitas yang rendah.

Pelvic tilt (PT) is always described as the pelvic orientation along the transverse axis, yet four PT definitions were established based on different radiographic landmarks: anterior pelvic plane (PTa), the centres of femoral heads and sacral plate (PTm), pelvic outlet (PTh), and sacral slope (SS). These landmarks quantify a similar concept, yet understanding of their relationships is lacking. Some studies referred to the words “pelvic tilt” for horizontal comparisons, but their PT definitions might differ. There is a demand for understanding their correlations and differences for education and research purposes.This study recruited 105 sagittal pelvic radiographs (68 males and 37 females) from a single clinic awaiting their hip surgeries. Hip hardware and spine pathologies were examined for sub-group analysis. Two observers annotated four PTs in a gender-dependent manner and repeated it after six months. The linear regression model and intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) were applied with a 95% significance interval.The SS showed significant gender differences and the lowest correlations to the other parameters in the male group (−0.3< r <0.2). The correlations of SS in scoliosis (n = 7) and hip implant (female, n = 18) groups were statistically different, yet the sample sizes were too small. PTm demonstrated very strong correlation to PTh (r > 0.9) under the linear model PTm = 0.951 × PTh - 68.284.The PTm and PTh are interchangeable under a simple linear regression model, which enables study comparisons between them. In the male group, SS is more of a personalised spinal landmark independent of the pelvic anatomy. Female patients with hip implant may have more static spinopelvic relationships following a certain pattern, yet a deeper study using a larger dataset is required. The understanding of different PTs improves anatomical education.

Hydrologic currents and swimming behavior influence routing and survival of emigrating Chinook salmon in branched migratory corridors. Behavioral particle-tracking models (PTM) of Chinook salmon can estimate migration paths of salmon using the combination of hydrodynamic velocity and swimming behavior. To test our hypotheses of the importance of management, models can simulate historical conditions and alternative management scenarios such as flow manipulation and modification of channel geometry. Swimming behaviors in these models are often specified to match aggregated observed properties such as transit time estimated from acoustic telemetry data. In our study, we estimate swimming behaviors at 5 s intervals directly from acoustic telemetry data and concurrent high-resolution three-dimensional hydrodynamic model results at the junction of the San Joaquin River and Old River in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, California. We use the swimming speed dataset to specify a stochastic swimming behavior consistent with observations of instantaneous swimming. We then evaluate the effect of individual components of the swimming formulation on predicted route selection and the consistency with observed route selection. The PTM predicted route selection fractions are similar among passive and active swimming behaviors for most tags, but the observed route selection for some tags would be unlikely under passive behavior leading to the conclusion that active swimming behavior influenced the route selection of several tagged smolts.

Teori yang digunakan adalah Konstruksi Realitas Sosial, dan menggunakan model Robert N. Entman dalam pembingkaian berita pada Kompas.com dan Detik.com. We analyzed large-scale post-translational modification (PTM) data to outline cell signaling pathways affected by tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) in ten lung cancer cell lines. Tyrosine phosphorylated, lysine ubiquitinated, and lysine acetylated proteins were concomitantly identified using sequential enrichment of post translational modification (SEPTM) proteomics. Machine learning was used to identify PTM clusters that represent functional modules that respond to TKIs. To model lung cancer signaling at the protein level, PTM clusters were used to create a co-cluster correlation network (CCCN) and select protein-protein interactions (PPIs) from a large network of curated PPIs to create a cluster-filtered network (CFN). Next, we constructed a Pathway Crosstalk Network (PCN) by connecting pathways from NCATS BioPlanet whose member proteins have PTMs that co-cluster. Interrogating the CCCN, CFN, and PCN individually and in combination yields insights into the response of lung cancer cells to TKIs. We highlight examples where cell signaling pathways involving EGFR and ALK exhibit crosstalk with BioPlanet pathways: Transmembrane transport of small molecules; and Glycolysis and gluconeogenesis. These data identify known and previously unappreciated connections between receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) signal transduction and oncogenic metabolic reprogramming in lung cancer. Comparison to a CFN generated from a previous multi-PTM analysis of lung cancer cell lines reveals a common core of PPIs involving heat shock/chaperone proteins, metabolic enzymes, cytoskeletal components, and RNA-binding proteins. Elucidation of points of crosstalk among signaling pathways employing different PTMs reveals new potential drug targets and candidates for synergistic attack through combination drug therapy.

Abstract Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is an autoimmune disease in which autoreactive T cells target and destroy islet β cells. The events that break peripheral tolerance in patients genetically predisposed to autoimmunity are poorly understood. Many physiological and environmental triggers associated with T1D cause endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, which may increase abnormal protein post-translational modification (PTM). We hypothesized that β cell ER stress generates neo-antigens that activate autoreactive T cells in T1D. Chemical (Thapsigargin) induction of ER stress in murine islets or insulinomas increased their recognition by diabetogenic BDC2.5 T cells (28-1500 fold) through activation of the PTM enzyme tissue transglutaminase 2 (Tgase; 18 fold). Indeed, reduced Tgase expression decreased stress-induced immunogenicity (58%). Also, physiological conditions in vivo increased ER stress (300 fold) and Tgase activity (44 fold) in primary islets and transplanted insulinomas, increasing BDC2.5 IFNγ responses (22 fold). Thus, ER stress leads to PTM-dependent murine β cell immunogenicity. We are currently translating these findings to a human T1D model. Preliminary data confirm that ER stress in human β cells significantly increased IFNγ secretion by T cells isolated from T1D patients that recognize Tgase-modified β cell antigens (24-360 fold). Thus, Tgase-dependent PTM may also cause immunogenicity in human β cells, demonstrating the relevance of our murine studies to human disease.

For targeted protein panels, the ability to specifically assay post-translational modifications (PTMs) in a quantitative, sensitive, and straightforward manner would substantially advance biological and pharmacological studies. The present study highlights the effectiveness of the Affi-BAMS™ epitope-directed affinity bead capture/MALDI MS platform for quantitatively defining complex PTM marks of H3 and H4 histones. Using H3 and H4 histone peptides and isotopically labelled derivatives, this affinity bead and MALDI MS platform achieves a range of >3 orders of magnitude with a technical precision CV of <5%. Using nuclear cellular lysates, Affi-BAMS PTM-peptide capture resolves heterogeneous histone N-terminal PTMs with as little as 100 µg of starting material. In an HDAC inhibitor and MCF7 cell line model, the ability to monitor dynamic histone H3 acetylation and methylation events is further demonstrated (including SILAC quantification). Affi-BAMS (and its capacity for the multiplexing of samples and target PTM-proteins) thus provides a uniquely efficient and effective approach for analyzing dynamic epigenetic histone marks, which is critical for the regulation of chromatin structure and gene expression.

Kurangnya aktivitas belajar siswa kelas IX-A di SMPN 2 Jatinangor dalam pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas menyebabkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi transformasi kurang maksimal. berdasarkan data awal diketahui bahwa dari seluruh siswa yang berjumlah 36 orang hanya 19 orang siswa atau 52% saja yang tuntas dalam belajarnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatnya aktivitas belajar matematika siswa pada materi transformasi pada pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas dengan menerapkan model discovery learning. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus masing masing siklus dilaksanakan dalam dua kali pertemuan, Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen observasi kegiatan siswa dan kegiatan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aktivitas belajar setelah menerapkan model discovery learning meningkat, hal ini diindikasikan oleh terlampauinya indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini. Data tersebut didukung dengan kegiatan siswa yang telah sesuai dengan sintak pembelajaran. Tindakan tersebut juga juga telah dapat meningkatkan kegiatan belajar siswa pada siklus I dengan rerata skor yang diperoleh mencapai 2.5 kemudian pada siklus II menjadi 3.3. Oleh sebab itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan materi transformasi telah dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa sehingga hasil belajarnya menjadi lebih baik.

Post-translational modifications (PTMs) occur in the vast majority of proteins, and they are essential for many protein functions. Computational prediction of the residue location of PTMs enhances the functional characterization of proteins. ADP-Ribosylation is an important type of PTM, because it is implicated in apoptosis, DNA repair, regulation of cell proliferation, and protein synthesis. However, mass spectrometric approaches have difficulties in identifying a vast number of protein ADP-Ribosylation sites. Therefore, a computational method for predicting ADP-Ribosylation sites of human proteins seems useful and necessary. Four types of sequence features and an incremental feature selection technique are utilized to predict protein ADP-Ribosylation sites. The final feature set for ADPR prediction modeling is optimized, based on a minimum redundancy maximum relevance criterion, so as to make more accurate predictions on aspartic acid ADPR modified residues. Our prediction model, ADPRtool, is capable to predict Asp-ADP-Ribosylation sites with a total accuracy of 85.45%, which is as good as most computational PTM site predictors. By using a sequence-based computational method, a new ADP-Ribosylation site prediction model — ADPRtool, is developed, and it has shown great accuracies with total accuracy, Matthew's correlation coefficient and area under receiver operating characteristic curve.

Pelaksanaan PTM yang setelah sebelumnya pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring (online), maka perlu untuk membangun imun atau daya tahan tubuh siswa dalam menghadapi masa pandemi yang masih berjalan dengan daya tahan dan tubuh yang sehat. Teknik dasar seperti drible, passing, dan shooting sangat penting untuk diajarkan agar gerakan-gerakan yang dilakukan peserta didik dapat lebih efektif dan efisien. Akan tetapi masih banyak siswa yang tidak tuntas dalam penilaian shooting freethrow khususnya kelas VII-C, sehingg PTK ini bertujuan untuk memberikan sebuah deskripsi/gambaran tentang peningkatan keaktifan siswa dalam permainan Bola Basket melalui model pembelajaran SAVI. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-C sekolah menengah pertama pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2021/2022 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 32 siswa. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 4 Kota Gresik, dilakukan saat PTM semasa masa transisi pandemi, dengan dua siklus PTK. penguasaan materi shooting yang menunjukkan aktivitas siswa meningkat yaitu pada siklus II sebagian besar siswa mendapatkan kriteria sangat baik, menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VII C dapat ditingkatkan dengan adanya penerapan model pembelajaran SAVI (Somatik, Auditori, Visual, Intelektual)d alam proses pembelajarannya.

Abstract Rapid progress in proteomics and large-scale profiling of biological systems at the protein level necessitates the continued development of efficient computational tools for the analysis and interpretation of proteomics data. Here, we present the piNET server that facilitates integrated annotation, analysis and visualization of quantitative proteomics data, with emphasis on PTM networks and integration with the LINCS library of chemical and genetic perturbation signatures in order to provide further mechanistic and functional insights. The primary input for the server consists of a set of peptides or proteins, optionally with PTM sites, and their corresponding abundance values. Several interconnected workflows can be used to generate: (i) interactive graphs and tables providing comprehensive annotation and mapping between peptides and proteins with PTM sites; (ii) high resolution and interactive visualization for enzyme-substrate networks, including kinases and their phospho-peptide targets; (iii) mapping and visualization of LINCS signature connectivity for chemical inhibitors or genetic knockdown of enzymes upstream of their target PTM sites. piNET has been built using a modular Spring-Boot JAVA platform as a fast, versatile and easy to use tool. The Apache Lucene indexing is used for fast mapping of peptides into UniProt entries for the human, mouse and other commonly used model organism proteomes. PTM-centric network analyses combine PhosphoSitePlus, iPTMnet and SIGNOR databases of validated enzyme-substrate relationships, for kinase networks augmented by DeepPhos predictions and sequence-based mapping of PhosphoSitePlus consensus motifs. Concordant LINCS signatures are mapped using iLINCS. For each workflow, a RESTful API counterpart can be used to generate the results programmatically in the json format. The server is available at http://pinet-server.org, and it is free and open to all users without login requirement.

Abstract Post-translational modification (PTM)-based regulation can be mediated not only by the modification of a single residue but also by the interplay of different modifications. Accurate prediction of PTM cross-talk is a highly challenging issue and is in its infant stage. Especially, less attention has been paid to the structural preferences (except intrinsic disorder and spatial proximity) of cross-talk pairs and the characteristics of individual residues involved in cross-talk, which may restrict the improvement of the prediction accuracy. Here we report a structure-based algorithm called PCTpred to improve the PTM cross-talk prediction. The comprehensive residue- and residue pair-based features were designed for paired PTM sites at the sequence and structural levels. Through feature selection, we reserved 23 newly introduced descriptors and 3 traditional descriptors to develop a sequence-based predictor PCTseq and a structure-based predictor PCTstr, both of which were integrated to construct our final prediction model. According to pair- and protein-based evaluations, PCTpred yielded area under the curve values of approximately 0.9 and 0.8, respectively. Even when removing the distance preference of samples or using the input of modeled structures, our prediction performance was maintained or moderately reduced. PCTpred displayed stable and reliable improvements over the state-of-the-art methods based on various evaluations. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mendampingi 11 Pimpinan Cabang Nasyiatul Aisyiyah, khususnya di Kabupaten Pekalongan agar dapat menyelenggarakan kegiatan PASHMINA secara mandiri dan berkelanjutan. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan pemberian pelatihan kepada kader dan motivator, pendampingan praktik pemberian layanan PASHMINA, evaluasi pasca layanan, pemberian pinjaman alat PASHMINA, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan. Hasil kegiatan didapatkan bahwa sebanyak 8 (73%) Cabang Nasyiatul Aisyiyah di Kab. Pekalongan dapat melaksanakan kegiatan PASHMINA secara mandiri. Selain itu, pengetahuan kader dan motivator PASHMINA di Kab Pekalongan tentang kesehatan reproduksi remaja, psikologi remaja, dan tentang PASHMINA menunjukkan juga cukup dan baik. Kegiatan pendampingan seperti ini diharapkan dapat dilakukan oleh seluruh PTM/A di Indonesia kepada Pimpinan Nasyiatul Aisyiyah di daerahnya, sehingga akan semakin banyak pusat layanan PASHMINA yang diselenggarakan oleh Pimpinan Nasyiatul Aisyiyah di Indonesia. Semakin banyak layanan PASHMINA, maka akan semakin banyak remaja yang mendapatkan layanan kesehatan sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas remaja di Indonesia.

Анотація:
This article outlines the basic structure of a Pluralistic Thinking Model (PTM). The model posits the activity of endorsing multiplicity and complexity as an individual difference factor. Pluralistic thinking is neither the reverse of prejudice, nor synonymous with multiculturalism, and deserves a conceptual space of its own. At its foundation lies a style of interpreting the world through a “both/and” lens. The PTM posits five drivers of pluralism: cognitive attributes, motivational factors (emotional and personality traits), a developmental trajectory, personal experience, and socio-cultural surround. Each of these is supported by research findings. While pluralism may lead to a sustainable embracement of diversity, it is challenging to maintain across domains and targets, indicating its domain-specificity. This paper presents two new tools for measuring pluralistic thinking: the Pluralistic Thinking Scale (PTS) and the Magic Wand Survey (MWS). Suggestions are offered for further exploration of the concept and for its social and ethical implications.

Abstract : The purpose of this study is to examine the significance of POS role models as mediation to organizational justice relations (procedural and distribusional) directed at the individual relationship to the organization (OCBO). Respondents in this study are non-permanent faculty members in PTM accredited A (UMS, UMY, UMM, UHAMKA, and UAD). The survey results on the five PTM get 150 non-permanent lecturers willing to be respondents. The result of SEM analysis shows that procedural and distributional equity correlate positively and significantly to POS. One thing that is different in the findings of this study is the weak relationship between POS and OCBO. Procedural justice has a significant direct relationship to OCBO, but not with distributive justice. That is, POS is not a variable mediating distributive and procedural justice relationships with OCBO.Abstraksi : Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji signifikansi model peran POS sebagai mediasi terhadap hubungan keadilan organisasi (prosedural dan distribusional) yang diarahkan pada hubungan individu dengan organisasi (OCBO). Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah anggota fakultas non-permanen di PTM terakreditasi A (UMS, UMY, UMM, UHAMKA, dan UAD). Hasil survei pada lima PTM mendapatkan 150 dosen non permanen yang bersedia menjadi responden. Hasil analisis SEM menunjukkan bahwa prosedural dan distribusi ekuitas berkorelasi positif dan signifikan terhadap POS. Satu hal yang berbeda dalam temuan penelitian ini adalah lemahnya hubungan antara POS dan OCBO. Keadilan prosedural memiliki hubungan langsung yang signifikan dengan OCBO, tetapi tidak dengan keadilan distributif. Artinya, POS bukanlah variabel mediasi hubungan keadilan distributif dan prosedural dengan OCBO

Abstrak: Pada pasca pandemi covid-19 pemerintah mulai menerapkan Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas (PTM) yaitu dengan kapasitas siswa dan jam pelajaran yang dibatasi sesuai dengan ketentuan level dari Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM). Dampak dari kegiatan PTM tersebut pembelajaran di sekolah menjadi dua model yaitu tatap muka dan secara daring, dari keadaan itulah maka sekolah khususnya para guru perlu untuk belajar pengetahuan-pengetahuan baru dalam mengajar dalam dua model sekaligus atau biasanya disebut dengan blended learning. Maka dibutuhkan suatu pelatihan yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran agar pembelajaran tetap berjalan dengan baik tanpa mengalami learning loss. Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatian ini adalah untuk memberikan kemampuan atau pengetahuan baru yaitu tentang bagaimana memanfaatkan papan permainan daring, blog untuk pendidik, dan LKPD interaktif dalam menunjang pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 53 guru dari beberapa sekolah yang ada di Kabupaten Malang, dan model pelaksanaan dari pelatihan adalah secara daring menggunakan aplikasi google meet, dimana para peserta yang sudah hadir nantinya dalam pelatihan diwajibkan untuk mempraktikan dan mengumpulkan hasil dari praktikumnya guna memenuhi syarat untuk mendapatkan sertifikat dengan akumulasi 32 Jam Pelajaran.Abstract: In the post-covid-19 pandemic, the government began implementing Limited Face-to-face Learning (PTM), namely with limited student capacity and lesson hours in accordance with the level provisions of the Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). The impact of PTM activities is learning in schools into two models, namely face-to-face and online, from that situation, schools, especially teachers, need to learn new knowledge in teaching in two models at once or usually called blended learning. So we need a training that can improve the ability of teachers in carrying out the learning process so that it continues to function smoothly and there is no loss of knowledge. This training activity's goal is to teach participants new skills or knowledge, such as how to use online learning media to supplement restricted face-to-face learning.This training was attended by 53 teachers from several schools in Malang Regency, and the implementation model of the training is online using the Google Meet application, where participants who have attended later in the training are required to practice and collect the results of their practicum in order to meet the requirements to get certificate with accumulated 32 Lesson Hours.
