Анотація:

The article describes validation process of the diagnostic tool for monitoring assessment of socio-emotional habits in elementary school. The tool is based on the Big Five model and includes three scales: Goal achievement, Cooperation and Emotional control. Two validation researches have been conducted, both on third-grade students from Moscow and Tatarstan elementary schools. Preliminary research (N=1318) examined the construct validity and reliability of the questionnaire. Confirmatory and exploratory factor analysis and methods of Modern Test Theory have confirmed hypothecated factorial structure. Subsequent research (N=2559) proved criterion validity of the questionnaire: it showed expected level and direction of correlation with the results of reading and mathematical skills testing. Presented questionnaire can be used for group monitoring assessment of socio-emotional development in elementary school.

Due to fast-paced society and fierce competition, more and more attentions are paid to consumers way of life and their psychological needs in fashion design. Color, a major element of fashion design, is a certain psychological feeling stimulated from vision, a combination of perception and ration. It should be designed and applied from the aspect of color psychology. Based on the cases and survey, this study aims to explore the application of psychological effect of color in fashion design. Fashion designers should consider the fashion color, focus on consumers preference for color, shade, style, patterns and the psychological effect, meet psychological needs of the target and potential consumers, and express psychological suggestion effect of color. Designers should also develop products at the level of matter and spirit, select fashion color to consumers mind, and finally apply color psychological effect in fashion planning and designing, products developing and marketing. The results of this study may play a guiding role in the strategy of modern fashion design.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to bridge the gap between physical and metaphysical entities in the context of product/system design. The paper talks about the grey area of human psychology and presents a theoretical framework for the identification and selection of psychological attributes for designers. Design/methodology/approach On the basis of a literature review, this paper identifies various psychological attributes affecting the performance of designers in a team environment and then analyses the same. Findings The paper talks about a new shift in engineering design and designs for maintainability of mechanical systems. Practical implications A procedure based on the analytic hierarchy process method is applied. The developed procedure is useful in the assessment and selection of coveted psychological attributes for personnel in general and for designers in particular. Originality/value The paper highlights the immense role of psychology in engineering design, especially in the design for maintainability of mechanical systems. The paper will be useful to researchers, designers, maintenance personnel and professionals from the domain of engineering design, irrespective of their field of application. This paper is equally useful for human resource and management professionals/researchers.

In order to scientifically formulate psychological training courses for mine emergency rescue teams, and improve the psychological quality of mine emergency rescue team members, we adopt literature methods, expert interviews, field trips and other research methods, and take the psychological training courses for mine rescue teams as the research object. Analyze the existing problems and course limitations of the psychological training of the mine emergency rescue team, apply the BOPPPS teaching mode to the psychological curriculum design of the mine emergency rescue team, and design the corresponding design according to the six major links of the BOPPS teaching mode in combination with the work characteristics of the mine rescue team In teaching activities, a set of scientific psychological training curriculum system is proposed to provide a reference for more scientific and reasonable psychological training of mine emergency rescue teams.

It is a well-known fact that our environment and surroundings play a vital role on our moods and health. More aesthetically improved, but not very smartly designed space affects our disposition and vigor. This situation leads to various health issues which can easily be curtailed with the proper use of architectural techniques employed. The Aim of the research paper is to identify the situation on hand around the city of Karachi and to focus upon the fact that people are socially, morally, ethically and physically at a state of ultimate distress and how the environment responsive architectural spaces can be wholesome for the human if they are more nearer to natural instincts then phoniness. The adopted methodology for this research was observational with qualitative comparisons of stakeholders with conversational interviews from the context of Pakistan specifically Karachi. Information for this was gathered through concentrated primary and secondary research methods both qualitative and quantitative.

Humanized design is the respect and satisfaction of people's psychological needs, physiological needs and spiritual pursuit, which embodies the humanistic care of design and respect for humanity. This paper describes the application of humanized design in public art and the embodiment of it in my graduation design. Meanwhile, it combines excellent cases with my own works for analysis, as well as multi-angle consideration in design.

The rapid IT development in the 21st century has a significant impact on scientific communications and research in all branches of modern science. Psychological science cannot stay aside this non-stop process. Indeed, the modern IT capabilities provide wide opportunities for psychological research in terms of speed, accuracy, volume and cross-culture perspective. The article describes theoretical, methodological and practical principles of design of websites for professional psychological diagnosis. Adherence to these principles ensures that the psychological diagnostic websites: 1) attract visitors and maintain the necessary level of their confidence and interest; 2) provide anonymity, clarity, convenience and ease of use; 3) have high informational value, content richness and scientific character; 4) differentiate the respondents and help receive feedback from them. The research methods used include the analysis of the national and foreign experience of IT use in psychological research, modelling and online psychological diagnosis organised on two psychological diagnostic websites with 26 psychological diagnostic methods and questionnaires. The detailed structure and developmental rules for diagnostic Internet sites are substantiated. A number of specific aspects concerning diagnostic Internet site application for professional psychological diagnosis are discussed. The scientific foundations developed by the authors for the use of remote professional psychological diagnosis have been successfully tested on two created psychological diagnostic websites http://prof-diagnost.org and http://hr-test.org and confirmed by the research carried out with their help. These sites are aimed at solving conceptually rather different research tasks. The first site has become the basis for fundamental research performed by different scientists, whereas the other has provided an opportunity to adapt 11 modern English-language psychological diagnostic techniques related to the diagnosis of occupational stress for their use in Ukraine.

AbstractIncreasingly digital products and services make cybersecurity a crucial issue for designers. However, human-centered designers struggle to consider it in their work, partially a consequence of the high psychological distance between designers and cybersecurity. In this work, we build on the Design for Cybersecurity (DfC) Cards, an intervention to help designers consider cybersecurity, and examine a project-based design course to understand how and why specific DfC cards were used. Three findings result. First, designers found the intervention useful across all design phases and activities. Second, the cards helped design teams refocus their attention on the problem domain and project outcome. Third, we identify a need for support in framing and converging during user research, opportunity identification, and prototyping. We argue that the psychological distance between designers and the problem space of cybersecurity partially explains these findings, and ultimately exacerbates existing challenges in the design process. These findings suggest that design interventions must consider the psychological distance between designer and problem space, and have application in design practice across many complex problem domains.

Creative Stimulator (CreaStim) is an intelligent interface for pattern design that behaves as a semiactive partner to human designers rather than as a passive graphical or computational tool. By making adjustments to psychological differentials and/or design parameters, CreaStim is able to help designers to explore innovative pattern designs and to get inspiration, producing different types of novel designs. In this article, the mechanism, the technique, the implementation, and the testing of CreaStim are described. The basic principle of CreaStim is the catastrophe theory, which implies that sudden realization in the thinking process of design may lead to creativity. CreaStim tries to stimulate and/or impact designers' creativity in design process using the output of it, rather than to simulate the sudden realization. The core of the CreaStim is a neural network-based imagining engine, a data repository, and its learning strategies considering psychological factors. The psychological factors, which are thought one of the key influences to creative design, are based on the questionnaires completed by designers about the existing successful designs. The repository contains not only a traditional database storing functional attributes, economic attributes, graphic description, structural description, and psychological attributes, but also methods, rule-based knowledge, and pattern-type knowledge. And it is managed by an application program called Design Template Group (DTG) manager. Trained with 12 pieces of successful pattern designs and 528 pieces of pseudo-examples produced and evaluated by the authors, CreaStim is implemented for a PC and an evaluation poll from five designers shows that designers may most likely get some inspiration from the produced patterns and some of them can even be adopted as the design alternatives directly.

The Design Principles for Natural Lighting references Biophilic design theory and focuses on our experience of light and its psychological effect through our senses. A model is proposed for composing natural light experiences practically and various examples assessed. NatureConnect is presented as a purposely designed lighting system based on the design principles and its approach discussed.

In teaching process of student psychological education, we introduce multimedia technology. It can not only improve the students' interest in learning, but also help the teacher using teaching aids reasonably to complete the teaching goal. In this paper we use multimedia technology to create classroom scene of psychological education, and use ps-cs5 software to design scene cartoon of multimedia student psychological education. Introducing the cartoon to the teaching contents improves the classroom more vivid and lively. In order to improve the performance of multimedia design, we use the Newton iterative method to accelerate the calculation process, finally get the residual convergence curve and the positive index of students' psychological response through calculation. It provides technical references for research on multimedia psychological teaching.

A data-dependent analysis assumes that all the information available to a researcher is contained within the observed data. Data-dependent methods for the analysis of experimental designs are shown to provide significant advantages over conventional techniques such as an F test. Two versions of three data-dependent methods based on permutations of the data are described and compared. One version utilizes ordinary least squares regression, and the other version utilizes least absolute deviations regression to analyze experimental designs. Analyses of an unbalanced two-way experimental design illustrate the differences among the six data-dependent approaches and the classical ordinary least squares F test, which depends on the assumptions of normality, homogeneity, and independence.

The application of basic science research to the development and optimization of psychological treatments holds great potential. However, this process of clinical translation is challenging and time-consuming, and the standard route by which it proceeds is inefficient. Adaptive rolling designs, which originated within cancer treatment research, provide an alternative methodology with potential to accelerate development and optimization of psychological treatments. In such designs, multiple treatment options are tested simultaneously, with sequential Bayesian analyses used to remove poorly performing arms. Further, new treatment arms informed by the latest research findings can be introduced into the existing infrastructure as the trial progresses. These features dramatically reduce the sample sizes needed and offer a means for more rapid and efficient clinical translation. This article outlines the utility of such designs to clinical psychological science, focusing on a new variant termed the leapfrog design, and discusses their potential uses to accelerate clinical translation.

Анотація:

With the continuous development of society, the pressure of human beings is increasing, and the problem of psychological counseling for school students is getting more and more serious, which has brought great challenges to the education and management of school students. Universities should cultivate students’ professional ability on knowledge and practical skills; we should pay more attention to their psychological counseling and develop and design a simple and efficient learning environment. It is very necessary to establish a psychological evaluation system for college students. This article is based on the design and application of the mobile education information system for psychological education. It highlights that the current psychological counseling problems in school education are indispensable. To better manage the psychological counseling problems faced by many students, 67% of the students have many psychological problems, and the mental health of students in school education and psychological counseling have become the common concern and urgent problems of all college managers. This paper uses the methods of literature research, behavior interview, and experimental investigation to investigate the complementary relationship between the connotation of education and psychological counseling from the data of the fuzzy integral model of psychological counseling, so as to pay more attention to the students’ mental health problems and make the students grow up healthily. The experimental results of this article show that there is still a lot of room for improvement in the use of mobile education information systems to improve their ability to carry out psychological counseling work.

Application design is one of the important things in application development because the application that has a bad design will cause discomfort and confusion for users, especially in health applications, which have their own difficulties where application design must focus on what users need to be easy to understand, especially mental health application because there are still few application for mental health or self-care even though since the pandemic, mental health problems have increased drastically, this makes many people seek help in mental help. Design thinking is a method used to solve a problem where the solution comes from that user’s experiences or needs. The Design Thinking method consists of five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. In the test step, testing was carried out using the Cognitive Walkthrough method with the help of the Maze tool with a learnability value of 97%, an error rate of 0.04, time-based efficiency of 0.05 task/second, and the MIUS value of each task were obtained a fairly high value indicating that design prototype is easy to use, easy to understand and efficient. While the MAUS score got a score of 94, which was included in the high level, indicating that the interface design was feasible to be implemented.

University students’ psychological state has not only an impact on their individual development but also on the campus’s stability, which in turn has an impact on social cohesion and the general enhancement of human excellence. This article aims to conduct an in-depth study on the management system of psychological health in universities based on data discovery to determine whether university students have psychological problems in time, prevent extreme phenomena, and enhance the efficiency of psychological counseling in universities. This study initially discusses the general functional structure of the mental health management system at universities before breaking it down into three primary modules: user information function management; psychological testing and psychological caution; and psychological counseling management. Furthermore, it analyses and classifies data from the mental health management system using decision tree algorithms written in C4.5. It can effectively solve the problem of multiple attributes that tend to select values when selecting test attributes of the information gain by using the index of split as the information gain rate, which completes the design of the mental health management system by utilizing data discovery. The simulation experiments of the proposed work show that the suggested system has high security and accuracy of discovery, which can effectively improve the efficiency of psychological counseling work in universities.

The visual information design refers to the communication and exchange with the real world through the graphic signification. The understanding of a graph is a visual recognition process of the graphic object. The audience can feel the intangibility of the design work behind the tangibility during the transmission, perception, communication and resonance processes. The unconscious mind of the audience is aroused under the visual impact, thus reaching the goal of transmitting the concept of information appeal. Influenced by the holistic view of the Gestalt Psychology, the modern cognitive psychology highlights the comprehensive analysis of human cognitive process, while Gestalt psychologists lay the emphasis on the integrity of experience and behavior. According to the principle of Gestalt Psychology, the form perceived is not the direct imitation of an objective thing, but instead, it is the perceptual construction activity when eyes capture the thing. As a manifestation system in the visual perception research field, the Gestalt Psychology teases the related perceptual organization principles for the human cognitive process and promotes the development of the visual perception researches. Based on the Gestalt Psychology, it is proposed in this research to study psychological phenomena from the holistic dynamic structure, explore the visual information design, and exploit the design field of view and creative thinking, in an effort to form a new design philosophy which will play an important role in improving the aesthetic effect and visual impact of the design work.

<p class="Abstract">The role of creativity in graphic design education has been a central aspect of graphic design education. The psychological component of creativity and its role in graphic design education has not been given much importance. The present research would attempt to study ‘creativity in graphic design education from psychological perspectives’. A thorough review of literature would be conducted on graphic design education, creativity and its psychological aspects. Creativity is commonly defined as a ‘problem solving’ feature in design education. Students of graphic design have to involve themselves in the identification of cultural and social elements. Instruction in the field of graphic design must be aimed at enhancing the creative abilities of the student. The notion that creativity is a cultural production is strengthened by the problem solving methods employed in all cultures. Most cultures regard creativity as a process which leads to the creation of something new. Based on this idea, a cross-cultural research was conducted to explore the concept of creativity from Arabic and Western perspective. From a psychological viewpoint, the student’s cognition, thinking patterns and habits also have a role in knowledge acquisition. The field of graphic design is not equipped with a decent framework which necessitates certain modes of instruction; appropriate to the discipline. The results of the study revealed that the psychological aspect of creativity needs to be adequately understood in order to enhance creativity in graphic design education.</p>
