In order to improve the efficiency of water pollution source online monitoring instrument under remote metrology and reduce the intensity of labor operation. 3G technology has been used to connect the instrument with the client's network through the STM32 microprocessor and A/D conversion. Current A/D conversion and 3G module have been used to complete the testing data transmission. In order to get the data, the software of server and client has been programed. Field experiments show that the system is stable and reliable, which can effectively meet the demand of the measurement.

The use of microcontrollers has been growing in the last years, in the development of electronic systems, due to their small dimensions and ability to control process. The application of microcontrollers is significant in several sectors, such as: industrial, domestic, entertainment, telecommunication, automotive, transport and aviation. Arduino is an electronic platform low-cost, open source, prototyping designed whit a built-in microcontroller based on easy-to-use hardware and software that can be programed to configure the inputs and outputs between the external components connected to the platform. Therefore, aiming the transformation of entertainment into a form of learning, this work presents the development of a luminous sequential programmed in C language. The system is composed by 25 LED’s strategically distributed for the visualization of the preprogrammed sequences. In the project the MEGA 2560 arduino was used and a Bluetooth module for wireless communication between the microcontroller and multifunction devices like smartphone’s, an application develop in MIT APP INVENTOR controls the systems, giving the user the ability to choose the routine besides the speed and luminous intensity of the set.

This project GUI for shuffling of sections is done to automate the hectic work of shuffling students into sections has been programed in python using open source module using pandas and tkinter the overall result achieved to this program is that students got shuffled into sections with same ratio of male and female in all section, and average of ranks of students of all sections are similar as to maintain equality and integrity. This program gives a GUI for the administrator to access the file with data of students stored to manipulate that data. In this project we will implement using python programming language .in python, we will use module pandas, TKinter. Pandas to manipulate data of students from an excel file through python program, TKinter is used to add GUI to the program to select the file to be manipulated pandas is a software library written for the python language for data manipulation and analysis. In particular, it offers data structures and operations for manipulating numerical tables and time series In particular, it offers data structures and operations for manipulating numerical tables and time series. TKINTER is a software library for creating library for creating GUI using python language.

Article clarifies a research having goals to make AVR programming system that is portable, by makingsystem modul based on AVR AT8535 as AVR Programmer/Master and AT8515 asAVR Socket. The module instructionat first is hex file was sending from PC to AVR Programmer/Master that later will be saved to external memory. Afterthe hex file saved, programming process will not need help from PC anymore. The saved hex file that saved toexternal memory can be choosen that later will be written to AVR Socket. So, the AVR program can be donerepeatedly as long as data on external memory still saved. The standalone that was made can only programed AVRATMega 8515L. From the research ita can be conluded that on case of repeated program, Stand Alone AVR able tosave time 20% more faster that programming using AVR codevision.

Human and cognitive ergonomics become one of essential elements in industrial field nowadays due to employer concern on physical, spiritual and emotional of their workers. The need of industrial today required operator’s cognitive functions with less manual human control but in reality human judgement cannot be eliminate as there are various task that only can be perform by human. The objective of this study is to investigate the level of stress among Muslim electronics assembly line workers in electronic factories in Malaysia. The method used in this study is a survey questionnaire. The study is to compare the stress level between male and female, different ages of worker, years of working experience and task deliver in the plant to perform their duty and contribute to company. The tool administered is DASS 42 questions which distributed to the 360 worker from different level which is staffs and operators. Based on it, emWavePro device are used to test workers biofeedback performance in order to determine target persons for stress management module implementation. Workers performances in terms of productivity are measure after complete module implementation. The result may shows that workers that undergo this programed as a subjects improve their work performance by increasing productivity. Workers may came to work with positive attitude that impact positive environment to the plant. Using DASS, 319 of electronics assembly line workers are evaluated and from that 18 workers are identified with extremely severe of depression, anxiety and stress. From 18 workers, 61.1% are come from age between 19 and 29 years old with working experience less than 5 years. These 18 workers had potential to influence others that can disturb positive environment on the plant and change it to negative environment. Cognitive ergonomics is one of important elements to be focus as it impact workers performance every day. Not only physical, spiritual and emotional of the workers also contribute to the plant achievement in general.

Our study aimed to identify differentially methylated CpGs/regions and their enriched genomic pathways associated with underlying chronic musculoskeletal pain in older individuals. We recruited cognitively healthy older adults with ( n = 20) and without ( n = 9) self-reported musculoskeletal pain and collected DNA from peripheral blood that was analyzed using MethylationEPIC arrays. We identified 31,739 hypermethylated CpG and 10,811 hypomethylated CpG probes ( ps ≤ 0.05). All CpG probes were clustered into 5966 regions, among which 600 regions were differentially methylated at p ≤ 0.05 level, including 294 hypermethylated regions and 306 hypomethylated regions (differentially methylated regions). Ingenuity pathway enrichment analysis revealed that the pain-related differentially methylated regions were enriched across multiple pathways. The top 10 canonical pathways were linked to cellular signaling processes related to immune responses (i.e. antigen presentation, programed cell death 1 receptor/PD-1 ligand 1, interleukin-4, OX40 signaling, T cell exhaustion, and apoptosis) and gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor signaling. Further, Weighted Gene Correlation Network Analysis revealed a comethylation network module in the pain group that was not preserved in the control group, where the hub gene was the cyclic adenosine monophosphate-dependent transcription factor ATF-2. Our preliminary findings provide new epigenetic insights into the role of aberrant immune signaling in musculoskeletal pain in older adults while further supporting involvement of dysfunctional GABAergic signaling mechanisms in chronic pain. Our findings need to be urgently replicated in larger cohorts as they may serve as a basis for developing and targeting future interventions.

ABSTRACT The discovery of toxin-antitoxin gene pairs (also called addiction modules) on extrachromosomal elements of Escherichia coli, and particularly the discovery of homologous modules on the bacterial chromosome, suggest that a potential for programmed cell death may be inherent in bacterial cultures. We have reported on the E. coli mazEF system, a regulatable addiction module located on the bacterial chromosome. MazF is a stable toxin and MazE is a labile antitoxin. Here we show that cell death mediated by the E. coli mazEF module can be triggered by several antibiotics (rifampicin, chloramphenicol, and spectinomycin) that are general inhibitors of transcription and/or translation. These antibiotics inhibit the continuous expression of the labile antitoxin MazE, and as a result, the stable toxin MazF causes cell death. Our results have implications for the possible mode(s) of action of this group of antibiotics.

This paper is a study on a modular smart plant factory integrating intelligent solar module, LED module with high efficiency for plant growth, IoT module control system and image processing technology. The intelligent sun and modules have a corrugated structure, and the angle of the module can be adjusted to obtain a large amount of power generation. It is fully foldable for wider angles during the day and module protection at night. The LED module is designed and manufactured to distribute energy evenly over the entire wavelength range so that high efficiency can be obtained. The control system with IoT convergence technology enables control of all parts related to plant growth such as angle control of solar modules, LED lighting control, temperature/humidity control, and fan control. In particular, the control method is programmed to be controlled by a computer monitoring system and a smartphone app, so there are few places. In addition, this paper developed an image processing algorithm to extract the growth information of lettuce grown in the plant factory. The acquired images were separated into R, G, and B images using Matlab software. The applied algorithms are k-mean and improved morphological image processing. By applying this method, we can determine the area calculation and shipping of lettuce seedlings. As a result of the fusion and application of solar modules, LED modules, and IoT modules, information on plant growth and status was confirmed.

ABSTRACT “Addiction modules” consist of two genes; the product of the second is long lived and toxic, while the product of the first is short lived and antagonizes the lethal action of the toxin. The extrachromosomal addiction module phd-doc, located on the P1 prophage, is responsible for the postsegregational killing effect (death of plasmid-free cells). The Escherichia colichromosomal addiction module analogue, mazEF, is responsible for the induction of programmed cell death. Here we show that the postsegregational killing mediated by the P1phd-doc module depends on the presence of the E. coli mazEF system. In addition, we demonstrate that under conditions of postsegregational killing, mediated byphd-doc, protein synthesis of E. coli is inhibited. Based on our findings, we suggest the existence of a coupling between the phd-doc and mazEFsystems.

This article gives a survey of a blended learning approach called Vienna E-Lecturing (VEL), implemented in the course Research Methods and Evaluation, which is required by the psychology program at the University of Vienna, Austria. VEL replaces a main lecture and has been designed to teach methodological issues more effectively as well as to strengthen students' learning competences in this field. The program's conceptualization is based on instructional and motivational findings yielding the program's two main teaching principles: (1) networking and (2) optimal instructions. The Internet-based course lasts two semesters and is composed of 10 online learning modules and 11 face-to-face meetings (including tutorials). The modules, which are available successively via a learning platform, systematically instruct students to learn more effectively by cooperating and fulfilling different tasks within small groups. The current article describes the program's principles and theoretical background and outlines the 10 online modules. In addition, some module examples are given for illustration.

This paper describes the software of the track state inspection system based on LABVIEW, which includes serial communication, data extraction, strap-down algorithm, acceleration integral and saving the results. Serial communication module uses VISA to program in order to realize communication between the IMU (inertial measurement unit)and upper computer. According to the output data format, data extraction module separates the signal of three axes’ accelerations and angular-rates by Match Pattern Function. Strap-down algorithm and acceleration integral modules are programmed by Math Script. The measurement results are saved by Write to Spreadsheet File Function. Finally, it’s to design a convenient humanized operation interface.

Sri Lanka has a precious traditional drum music culture that is mainly based on traditional drums. At present, this drum culture is in decline due to a lack of talented drum players. As a result, many Buddhist temples are facing a serious and tragic problem. This article presents the design and implementation of a robotic system named ThamRobot contains two robotic arms that were designed to play pre-programmed three drum tunes of the Thammattama correctly and efficiently like a drum player without any intervention of a human. In the research, nine major characteristics factors of the Thammattama such as music notes, drum locations, approximate stress, frequencies, pitch, drum type, number of sticks, playing technique, distance from stick to drum face were identified. The entire system is comprised of four main modules named motion module, user-operation module, processing module, power supply module. Finally, the system has been tested in a laboratory environment and encouraging results were obtained.

The formation and death of macrophages and foam cells are one of the major factors that cause coronary heart disease (CHD). In our study, based on the Edinburgh Human Metabolic Network (EHMN) metabolic network, we built an enzyme network which was constructed by enzymes (nodes) and reactions (edges) called the Edinburgh Human Enzyme Network (EHEN). By integrating the subcellular location information for the reactions and refining the protein-reaction relationships based on the location information, we proposed a computational approach to select modules related to programmed cell death. The identified module was in the EHEN-mitochondria (EHEN-M) and was confirmed to be related to programmed cell death, CHD pathogenesis, and lipid metabolism in the literature. We expected this method could analyze CHD better and more comprehensively from the point of programmed cell death in subnetworks.

Due to constantly increasing electricity consumption, networks are becoming overloaded and unstable. Decentralization of power generation using small-scale local cogeneration plants becomes an interesting option to improve economy and energy reliability of buildings in terms of both electricity and heat. It is expected that stationary applications in buildings will be one of the most important fields for fuel cell systems. In northern countries, like Finland, efficient utilization of heat from fuel cells is feasible. Even though the development of some fuel cell systems has already progressed to a field trial stage, relatively little is known about the interaction of fuel cells with building energy systems during a dynamic operation. This issue could be addressed using simulation techniques, but there has been a lack of adequate simulation models. International cooperation under IEA/ECBCS/Annex 42 aims at filling this gap, and the study presented in this paper is part of this effort. Our objective was to provide the means for studying the interaction between a building and a fuel cell system by incorporating a realistic fuel cell model into a building energy simulation. A two-part model for a solid-oxide fuel cell system has been developed. One part is a simplified model of the fuel cell itself. The other part is a system level model, in which a control volume boundary is assumed around a fuel cell power module and the interior of it is regarded as a “black box.” The system level model has been developed based on a specification defined within Annex 42. The cell model (programed in a spreadsheet) provides a link between inputs and outputs of the black box in the system model. This approach allows easy modifications whenever needed. The system level model has been incorporated into the building simulation tool IDA-ICE (Indoor Climate and Energy) using the neutral model format language. The first phase of model implementation has been completed. In the next phase, model validation will continue. The final goal is to create a comprehensive but flexible model, which could serve as a reliable tool to simulate the operation of different fuel cell systems in different buildings.

As one of the core components of electronic hardware systems, Field Programmable Logic Array (FPGA) device design technology continues to advance under the guidance of electronic information technology policies, and has made information technology applications. huge contribution. However, with the advancement of chip technology and the continuous upgrading of information technology, the functions that FPGAs need to perform are more and more complicated. How to efficiently perform layout design and make full use of chip resources has become an important technology to be solved and optimized in FPGA design. The FPGA itself is not limited to a specific function. It contains internal functions such as memory, protocol module, clock module, high-speed interface module and digital signal processing. It can be programmed through logic modules such as programmable logic unit modules and interconnects. Blank FPGA devices are designed to be high performance system applications with complex functions. The layout and routing technology based on cluster logic unit blocks can combine the above resources to give full play to its performance advantages, and its importance is self-evident. Based on the traditional FPGA implementation, this paper analyzes several advantages based on cluster logic block layout and routing technology, and generalizes the design method and flow based on cluster logic block layout and routing technology.

<p>This study aims to improve a remote control panel for numerous electrical devices in smart homes using radio frequency (RF) and wifi. In this study, RF315MHz transceiver module and Arduino Ethernet Shield wifi module are combined by a programmed algorithm to transmit control signals from a central processor to the electrical devices in the smart house. The RF315 MHz transceiver with hard coding is modified to be a soft coding module in which each control channel can switch on/off 256 electrical devices. Then, a remote control panel is developed to control numerous electrical devices based on the requirements of the number of control buttons and the technology in the smart house. Moreover, this proposed method allow to control the electrical devices in the house by various panels. An experimental model with two separate transmission channels using two soft-coded RF315MHz modules has been done to verify the applicability of the proposed method.</p>

Jednotka byla vyvijena jako univerzalni a byla testovana při řizeni maleho zažehoveho motoru YAMAHA YZF R6. Jednotka je dale použitelna pro zažehove motory různe koncepce, přeplňovane i nepřeplňovane. Požadavku na univerzalnost jednotky byl přizpůsoben řidici program, ktery je uspořadan ve vzajemně komunikujicich samostatnych blocich. Zařizeni je rozšiřitelne o dalši I/O moduly, což umožňuje použiti dalšich snimačů, aktuatorů nebo modulů pro komunikaci. In particular, this study aims to describe the description of the design of music e-learning modules in the UNM FIP PGSD Study Program. The research method used research development (R & D), the test subjects were the PGSD FIP UNM students who had programmed the Music Arts course. Sampling is done by using a simple random sampling technique with a number of sample members of 30 people, the data collection techniques using a closed questionnaire, analysis of data using the data analysis descriptive and inferential statistics. The results Showed that there was an Increase in participation and student learning outcomes classically after learning to use e modules, the weakness of e modules was that they were not Able to encourage students who had the ability more towards Reviews their maximum potential in terms of learning the art of music.

Magnetic dipole-dipole interactions govern the behavior of magnetic matter across scales from micrometer colloidal particles to centimeter magnetic soft robots. This pairwise long-range interaction creates rich emergent phenomena under both static and dynamic magnetic fields. However, magnetic dipole particles, from either ferromagnetic or paramagnetic materials, tend to form chain-like structures as low-energy configurations due to dipole symmetry. The repulsion force between two magnetic dipoles raises challenges for creating stable magnetic assemblies with complex two-dimensional (2D) shapes. In this work, we propose a magnetic quadrupole module that is able to form stable and frustration-free magnetic assemblies with arbitrary 2D shapes. The quadrupole structure changes the magnetic particle-particle interaction in terms of both symmetry and strength. Each module has a tunable dipole moment that allows the magnetization of overall assemblies to be programmed at the single module level. We provide a simple combinatorial design method to reach both arbitrary shapes and arbitrary magnetizations concurrently. Last, by combining modules with soft segments, we demonstrate programmable actuation of magnetic metamaterials that could be used in applications for soft robots and electromagnetic metasurfaces.

The Supercomputer Toolkit is a family of hardware modules (processors, memory, interconnect, and input-output devices) and a collection of software modules (compilers, simulators, scientific libraries, and high-level front ends) from which high-performance special-purpose computers can be easily configured and programmed. Although there are many examples of special-purpose computers (see Ref. 4), the Toolkit approach is different in that our aim is to construct these machines from standard, reusable parts. These are combined by means of a user-reconfigurable, static interconnect technology. The Toolkit’s software support, based on novel compilation techniques, produces extremely high-performance numerical code from high-level language input. We have completed fabrication of the Toolkit processor module, and several critical software modules. An eight-processor configuration is running at MIT. We have used the prototype Toolkit to perform a breakthrough computation of scientific importance—an integration of the motion of the Solar System that extends previous results by nearly two orders of magnitude. While the Toolkit project is not complete, we believe our results show evidence that generating special-purpose computers from standard modules can be an important method of performing intensive scientific computing. This paper briefly describes the Toolkit’s hardware and software modules, the Solar System simulation, conclusions and future plans.

This paper presents a case study of robot-based intervention program for children with autism. The study focuses on two-way communication between children with autism and a humanoid robot NAO. The aim of this study is to develop a set of teaching and learning modules on communication through question type conversation and song-based approach. Module developed in this study is programmed using NAOs choregraphe, being imbedded later on and perform action. Both children participating in this study can communicate verbally and have been diagnosed with mild autism. Response from this exposure shows that the human toddler-like robot can be used as a platform to augment and facilitate communication effectively with children with autism.

Since the last few decades, research in the area of robotics technology has been emphasizing in the modeling and development of cognitive machines. A cognitive machine can have multiple cognitive capabilities to be programmed to make it artificially intelligent. Numerous cognitive modules interact to mimic human behavior in machines and result in such a heavily coupled system that a minor change in logic or hardware may affect a large number of its modules. To address such a problem, several middlewares exist to ease the development of cognitive machines. Although these layers decouple the process of logic building and communication infrastructure of modules, they are language-dependent and have their limitations. A cognitive module developed for one research work cannot be a part of another research work resulting in the re-invention of the wheel. This paper proposes a RESTful technology-based framework that provides language-independent access to low-level control of the iCub’s sensory-motor system. Moreover, the model is flexible enough to provide hybrid communications between cognitive modules running on different platforms and operating systems. Furthermore, a cognitive client is developed to test the proposed model. The experimental analysis performed by creating different scenarios shows the effectiveness of the proposed framework.

With a friendly and artistic interface offered by third party control, this tool provides a function of HABs monitoring in East China Sea via Remote Sensing Images inversion. Through rows of buttons on the menu bar, this tool allows calculating spectrum reflectance, browsing field work data, interpolating in situ measurement data, retrieving water property parameters, and detecting HABs position by the threshold of chlorophyll-a and sea surface temperature. Data management module programmed in Structured Query Language (SQL) in our tool simplifies the data process and stores a large amount of information. This paper elaborates the original design, functional modules, and multi data sources that gives a general view toward this tool.

Type II toxin-antitoxin (TA) systems are the particular type of TA modules which take part in different kinds of cellular actions, such as biofilm formation, persistence, stress endurance, defense of the bacterial cell against multiple phage attacks, plasmid maintenance, and programmed cell death in favor of bacterial population. Although several bioinformatics and Pet lab studies have already been conducted to understand the functionality of already discovered TA systems, still, more work in this area is required. Rnl AB type II TA module, which is composed of RnlA toxin and RnlB antitoxin, is a newly discovered type II TA module which takes part in the defense mechanism against T4 bacteriophage attack in Escherichia coli K-12 strain MH1 that has not been widely studied in other bacteria. Because of the significant role of class Gammaproteobacteriacea in a diverse range of health problems, we chose here to focus on this class to survey the presence of the Rnl AB TA module. For better categorization and description of the distribution of this module in this class of bacteria, the corresponding phylogenetic trees are illustrated here. Neighbor-joining and the maximum parsimony methods were used in this study to take a look at the distribution of domains present in RnlA and RnlB proteins, among members of Gammaproteobacteria. Also, the possible roles of photodynamic therapy (PDT) in providing a substrate for better phage therapy are herein discussed.

Programmed cell death (PCD) is involved in plant growth and development and in resistance to biotic and abiotic stress. To understand the molecular mechanism that triggers PCD, phenotypic and physiological analysis was conducted using the first three leaves of mutant rice PCD-induced-resistance 1(pir1) and its wild-type ZJ22. The 2nd and 3rd leaves of pir1 had a lesion mimic phenotype, which was shown to be an expression of PCD induced by H2O2-accumulation. The PIR1 gene was mapped in a 498 kb-interval between the molecular markers RM3321 and RM3616 on chromosome 5, and further analysis suggested that the PCD phenotype of pir1 is controlled by a novel gene for rice PCD. By comparing the mutant with wild type rice, 1679, 6019, and 4500 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified in the three leaf positions, respectively. KEGG analysis revealed that DEGs were most highly enriched in phenylpropanoid biosynthesis, alpha-linolenic acid metabolism, and brassinosteroid biosynthesis. In addition, conjoint analysis of transcriptome data by weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) showed that the turquoise module of the 18 identified modules may be related to PCD. There are close interactions or indirect cross-regulations between the differential genes that are significantly enriched in the phenylpropanoid biosynthesis pathway and the hormone biosynthesis pathway in this module, which indicates that these genes may respond to and trigger PCD.

The goal of this project is to introduce Cloud support to the Smart Irrigation System for Agricultural Area of Pakistan. To achieve this objective Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is used to determine how much water to apply and when to irrigate. The system is divided into four main modules, i.e. Sensor node, Coordinator node, Server Module and Web Application. On the basis of acquired parameters from the WSN, the software application is programmed to take intelligent decisions increase the efficiency of the agricultural system.

Aim. Modular mini-robots can be used in novel minimally invasive surgery techniques like natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) and laparoendoscopic single site (LESS) surgery. The control of these miniature assistants is complicated. The aim of this study is the in silico investigation of a remote controlling interface for modular miniature robots which can be used in minimally invasive surgery.Methods. The conceptual controlling system was developed, programmed, and simulated using professional robotics simulation software. Three different modes of control were programmed. The remote controlling surgical interface was virtually designed as a high scale representation of the respective modular mini-robot, therefore a modular controlling system itself.Results. With the proposed modular controlling system the user could easily identify the conformation of the modular mini-robot and adequately modify it as needed. The arrangement of each module was always known. The in silico investigation gave useful information regarding the controlling mode, the adequate speed of rearrangements, and the number of modules needed for efficient working tasks.Conclusions. The proposed conceptual model may promote the research and development of more sophisticated modular controlling systems. Modular surgical interfaces may improve the handling and the dexterity of modular miniature robots during minimally invasive procedures.

Background Patients with type 2 diabetes require recommendations for self-management education and support. Objective In this study, we aim to design the Diabetes Engagement and Activation Platform (DEAP)—an automated patient education tool integrated into primary care workflow—and examine its implementation and effectiveness. Methods We invited patients aged 18-85 years with a hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) level ≥8 to participate in a randomized controlled trial comparing DEAP with usual care. DEAP modules addressing type 2 diabetes self-management education and support domains were programmed into patient portals, each with self-guided educational readings, videos, and questions. Care teams received patient summaries and were alerted to patients with low confidence or requesting additional help. HbA1c, BMI, and systolic and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) were measured. Results Out of the 680 patients invited to participate, 337 (49.5%) agreed and were randomized. All of the 189 intervention patients accessed the first module, and 140 patients (74.1%) accessed all 9 modules. Postmodule knowledge and confidence scores were high. Only 18 patients requested additional help from the care team. BMI was lower for intervention patients than controls at 3 months (31.7 kg/m2 vs 32.1 kg/m2; P=.04) and 6 months (32.5 kg/m2 vs 33.0 kg/m2; P=.003); improvements were even greater for intervention patients completing at least one module. There were no differences in 3- or 6-month HbA1c or blood pressure levels in the intent-to-treat analysis. However, intervention patients completing at least one module compared with controls had a better HbA1c level (7.6% vs 8.2%; P=.03) and DBP (72.3 mm Hg vs 75.9 mm Hg; P=.01) at 3 months. Conclusions The findings of this study concluded that a significant proportion of patients will participate in an automated virtual diabetes self-management program embedded into patient portals and health systems show promise in helping patients manage their diabetes, weight, and blood pressure. TPS538 Background: Despite initial high response rates to current SoC first-line chemotherapy, most patients with locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma (UC) eventually experience disease progression. With no defined SoC second-line therapies, prognosis remains poor. Durvalumab is a selective, high affinity, engineered human IgG1 mAb that blocks programmed cell death ligand-1 binding to programmed cell death-1 and CD80. Most current Phase 3 trials of durvalumab were initiated using weight-based dosing (mg/kg) regimens. STRONG (NCT03084471), a Phase 3b safety study of durvalumab alone or in combination with the anti-CTLA-4 agent tremelimumab is being conducted to expand understanding of the safety of fixed dosing in patients with advanced solid tumors. Module A of the study is enrolling patients with UC and non-urothelial carcinoma of the urinary tract (any histology) for treatment with durvalumab in the second-line setting post-chemotherapy. Other study modules will include durvalumab + tremelimumab combination arms. Methods: This is an open-label, multicenter study. Module A will enroll approximately 1200 patients to receive durvalumab monotherapy 1,500 mg i.v. q4w until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity. The study opened for enrolment on 17 April 2017 and is expected to be completed within 5 years. Patients must have histologically or cytologically confirmed disease that has progressed during or after nonplatinum or platinum-based chemotherapy either for metastatic disease or progressive disease less than 12 months after adjuvant or neo-adjuvant chemotherapy, and ECOG performance status 0–2. The primary objective is to assess the safety of durvalumab in terms of incidence, severity, nature, seriousness, intervention, outcome and causality (including immune-relatedness) of adverse events of special interest (AESIs). Secondary objectives include additional assessment of safety and tolerability, the frequency of treatment interruption and discontinuation, and overall survival. Synthesis of learning packages is labour and resource intensive process. The results of this process influence to students work efficient. Article is devoted to creating automated system synthesis of structured educational content. This system is the universal shell for computer science learning package. This system allow to unify educational process approach, apply regardless of course content, increase student work efficient in university local network. Developed system is include six independent module. These modules realize system load properties choose, service, system load, authentification and tools, student competence control. This article contains modules work concept. Module work concept of system load properties choose is describes in detail and it's function algorithm is presented. Educational content is structured to computer science teaching program. All content is divided to two logical section. Which section is contains several subsection. Those section and subsection are TreeView hierarchical tree nodes. They are included educational content elements by special algorithm. Universal test system and special developed on VBA interactive trainers are included to competence control subsection. Those trainers are program's which can generate task for several topic. The system which considering in this article have some advantages. It's occupied small memory on hard disk, it's worked in network and on local computer. The educational content can be flexible included in this system without on course volume and student basic knowledge level.

A partnership of six prestigious research and educational providers in Europe, coordinated by INCDTP – Bucharest have joined their expertise to offer educational modules related to this need, within the Erasmus+ project “OptimTex- Software tools for textiles creatives”. The five educational modules follow the main textile technologies and describe in a Problem-Based-Learning (PBL) approach software applications for: weaving, knitting, virtual prototyping of clothing, embroidery of e-textiles (electronic textiles) and experimental design. The PBL approach consists in learning by examples, followed by the theory, the corresponding software applications and a quiz for selfassessment. The e-learning instrument was programmed in HTML5 and JavaScript and offers quick access the educational modules. INCDTP has conceived the fifth module on experimental design, by tackling plasma treatments of textiles for various functionalities: hydrophobic, hydrophilic and electrical conductivity. Full factorial, Central Composite Design and Fractional factorial experimental design plans were described. This topic is of interest for the envisaged target group, for it represents alternative and useful knowledge to the official curricula of Higher Education engineering studies. Intensive Study Programs and Multiplier events will be organized in the second project’s year for students of Higher Education and textile professionals.

Abstract This paper presents a case study using an analysis of solar PV modules peak power to determine the optimum number of PV modules required to supply energy to certain typical household appliances. The approach could be used for selection of solar PV modules that produce a satisfactory energy yield to meet pre-determined energy needs. In the analysis, the maximum daily energy consumption values corresponding to the lighting and air-conditioning loads were determined through an energy audit conducted on a residential building unit in Lagos, Nigeria. The maximum daily energy consumption values of these appliances were programmed into a NCEEC_e-EASZ VBA simulation tool to determine the solar PV array peak power and the number of modules required to produce the required solar energy yield. The methodology was validated with literature and HOMER Pro software. Eighteen different commercially available modules spanning a range of specifications including unit peak power varying from 280 to 400 W were investigated in order to select the most suitable panels for the provided conditions. The minimum required number of PV modules required to make up an array to produce the required yield was determined. The result indicates that when the unit peak power of the modules increases, the number of modules required to meet the daily energy demand reduces. The rating of solar PV modules between 280 - 400 W constituted a significant role in the process of analysing peak power as well as the quantity of solar PV modules required.

Solar cell power monitoring software module in measurement of current and voltage has been made using data acquisition system device. This module is programmed by Delphi and designed according to the necessities for solar cell monitoring. Necessities for monitoring include many data that will be monitored, i.e: current, voltage, power, time and chart. This module will be integrated with hardware so that the data measured by the hardware can be acquired and displayed by the software module. All monitored data are also displayed through Microsoft Excel which then can be saved. Data acquired from the test are i.e: 0,05 A for current1, 0,2 A for current2, 0,027 V for voltage1, 0,15 V for voltage2, 0,001 W for power1, and 0,004 for power2.

Data can be adversely influenced during this conversion process which can result in sub-optimal decisions being made. The collection and handling of information for a water authority must therefore be organised. Asset management systems generally consist of three major constituents: inventory, programmed action, and optimisation. The institutional capacity needs of water authorities in developing countries require greater emphasis on the first of these two constituents. A pragmatic and simple-to-use Integrated Water Asset Management System (IWAMS) has been developed comprising water meter, leakage control and incident management modules. A water audit and water balance module facilitates the determination of the levels of unaccounted for water, as well as the unit cost of leakage. Water mains rehabilitation priorities can be established through the representation of various data collected in the form of a common severity rating that aids decision making.

CRISPR-Cas, the bacterial and archaeal adaptive immunity systems, encompass a complex machinery that integrates fragments of foreign nucleic acids, mostly from mobile genetic elements (MGE), into CRISPR arrays embedded in microbial genomes. Transcripts of the inserted segments (spacers) are employed by CRISPR-Cas systems as guide (g)RNAs for recognition and inactivation of the cognate targets. The CRISPR-Cas systems consist of distinct adaptation and effector modules whose evolutionary trajectories appear to be at least partially independent. Comparative genome analysis reveals the origin of the adaptation module from casposons, a distinct type of transposons, which employ a homologue of Cas1 protein, the integrase responsible for the spacer incorporation into CRISPR arrays, as the transposase. The origin of the effector module(s) is far less clear. The CRISPR-Cas systems are partitioned into two classes, class 1 with multisubunit effectors, and class 2 in which the effector consists of a single, large protein. The class 2 effectors originate from nucleases encoded by different MGE, whereas the origin of the class 1 effector complexes remains murky. However, the recent discovery of a signalling pathway built into the type III systems of class 1 might offer a clue, suggesting that type III effector modules could have evolved from a signal transduction system involved in stress-induced programmed cell death. The subsequent evolution of the class 1 effector complexes through serial gene duplication and displacement, primarily of genes for proteins containing RNA recognition motif domains, can be hypothetically reconstructed. In addition to the multiple contributions of MGE to the evolution of CRISPR-Cas, the reverse flow of information is notable, namely, recruitment of minimalist variants of CRISPR-Cas systems by MGE for functions that remain to be elucidated. Many energy saving tasks can be solved thanks to the current advances in LED technology in the production of semiconductor light sources. Modern production of solid-state LEDs guarantees high-precision compliance with the calculated design parameters of illumination devices. This opens up wide opportunities for high-precision control of the lighting parameters of a multicomponent module: light power, a directional pattern and a distribution of illumination. Today, the methodical issues of the preliminary modeling of LED illumination devices with the given parameters are fundamentally solved. There is a shift from manual calculations to computer design and need to develop and select the most effective mathematical modeling methods. The paper presents a consistent approach to the modeling of the distribution of illumination on a horizontal plane from the planar LED module, based on the Lambert type of radiation of a single point source. Simple mathematical expressions, programmed on a personal computer, are obtained. The example of a 25-LED floodlight has shown the ability of dynamic control the lighting characteristics of the module. Connecting patterns of separate LEDs or their groups allow to change the direction pattern of the lamp by the appropriate way of switching diodes with different aperture of radiation. The lighting power can be controlled within the linearity of the ampere-brightness characteristics by changing the current strength through the LED. The static selection of characteristics is controlled by the geometry of the location of discrete sources. The formation of uniform illumination of the plane is graphically illustrated. The electron-dynamic way of controlling the lighting parameters of the LED floodlight is confirmed by the inventor’s certificate.
