The problem of the implementation of individual educational trajectories of students developing basic educational programs of higher education in a technical university, whose feature is a holistic education in a certain area of professional activity, is considered. The authors define an individual educational trajectory as an individual plan for professional and personal development, which helps the student to discover his interest in a particular direction and develop his strongest qualities. The article proposes an approach to the implementation of individualization in the development of basic educational programs through the introduction of the model of higher education ‘2 + 2 + 2’, which allows the student to choose an enlarged group of areas and specialties, the direction of training and the educational program during training. The authors consider the problems of ensuring the choice of an educational program after the second year of undergraduate studies, which are regulated by the procedure for transferring a student to another educational program of higher education. The problems of choosing elective disciplines by students of different courses of study and areas of training are also considered. The authors propose an approach for obtaining additional microqualifications for students within the framework of one educational program without violating the systemic nature of education, which in turn allows the graduate to perform his professional functions in several jobs and increases his competitiveness in the labor market.

The relevance of the article under review is due to the appeal to the latest research paradigms of modern linguistics to study the industry-specific terminology. The research was carried out within the framework of the integrative application of the research potential of terminology, cognitive science and linguistics, which ensured the transition to a new interpretation of the term as a means of obtaining, storing, processing and transmitting academic knowledge. The problems of term formation considered in the article in the author’s dictionary proposed by L.N. Gumilyov attract the attention of experts not only by systematizing the structural principles of the study of terminological systems, but also by the problematic ambiguous presentation of the issues under consideration. The author’s cognitive analysis of the ethnological terminological system made it possible to establish the semantics of terms and their place in scientific discourse. The authors managed to show the need to study the mechanisms of direct and metaphorical nomination of special terminological systems within the framework of the cognitive direction, taking into account the anthropocentric research paradigm. The conducted linguo-cognitive analysis of the ethnology for terminology system served as evidence of the prospects of the linguistic study of academic texts by L.N. Gumilyov and allows us to consider the ethnology terminology as a model of the cognitive space of one of the socially significant areas. The individual terms created by the famous scientist L.N. Gumilyov are grouped in the article. As a result of the study, the features of the functioning of these terms in specialized dictionaries and in the context of the author’s works are determined.

Within the process of acquiring of knowledge the individual enters into relations with material and social environment. In this contact, the new knowledge is acquired and the relations to existing social environment and regime are built. From Emile Durkheim till today, socialization is understood as acquaintance with and acceptance of existing social norms and values by individual within socially acceptable and desirable behavior. Complex process of socialization cannot be reduced to the external influences and acceptance of stalemate stereotypes, yet presupposes authentic psychosocial development of individual. In this way, the very notion of adaptation is disputable since requires semantic and reconstruction in terminology. Socialization is particular form of interaction, which shapes the nature of individual, human behavior, interaction and social participation. Without socialization, there would be neither humans nor society.

Presented is an attempt to understand the concept of individualization of education. The article analyzes interpretations of this concept, that have emerged in recent years. Identified are elements, on which is focused attention of researchers, namely: individualization of the educational process, and individualization of the student. It is established that reasons, that prevent individualization of learning, are features of organization of educational process, while influence, that conservative nature of institute of education has effect on reducing effectiveness of the process of differentiation and individualization is not noticed. It is revealed that the need for educational system to perform functions of socialization and cultural reproduction sets tasks that at latent level contradict with requirements of individualization. Implementation of these functions is accompanied by formation of logical conformism among students and unification of their identifications that are individually and personally expressed in processes of self-typing. Thus, in order to transform education in accordance with ideas of variation, differentiation and individualization, it is necessary to study the limits of institutional possibilities for individualization of both student and learning process, as well as to explore the possibility of transformation in the context of individualization of institutional nature of the education system itself.

Great social processes (cultural megatrends) such as structural and functional differentiation, institutional specialization, socio-cultural pluralism, worldview competition and individualisation play an important role in secularized societies. Under the contemporary conditions of the social modernisation and individualization and pluralisation that are all connected, crucial transformation of the religious and moral values and beliefs takes place. In the paper the accent attention is paid to a couple of important issues: social and cultural context of individualisation as well as the influences of the structural individualism on religious life of contemporary people. These influences lead to a specific “fragmentarisation” of the Church as well as to the evolution from the Church religiosity to pluralised, segmented, deregulated and individualized religiosity.

In Sweden, the labour movement historically had influenced both society and politics. In recent times, it is considered a change in society with a stronger employer party while the unions weakened by reduced unionisation. This study aims to highlight the presence of individualistic and collectivistic approaches to the labour market in relation to union density. The different approaches are investigated in the labour market by means of a quantitative survey. The study's survey items are workers in the timber industry. The study results indicate that the study's workers union level corresponding national average. The decline in union membership also includes the study workers. The study results also show that younger workers are less susceptible to join unions. The results do not reject the existence of individualistic approach, but demonstrates predominantly collectivistic approach among the study's workers. The study results can be understood from the trade organization's historically strong position in the industry. The employees' strong collective approach emphasizes the union's continued relevance to the labour market.

Esta dissertação apresenta uma análise do processo de individualização do sujeito no discurso publicitário a partir da perspectiva teórica da Análise de Discurso. Nosso corpus constitui-se de algumas páginas publicitárias da Revista Veja do período de Maio a Julho de 2008. A partir dessas propagandas procuramos depreender as regularidades do funcionamento do discurso propagandístico, bem como delimitar as marcas lingüísticas e nãolinguísticas do processo de individualização do sujeito presentes no discurso em questão. A publicidade exerce papel fundamental na sociedade contemporânea, explicitando a relação do sujeito com o conjunto social, em determinada conjuntura histórica. O texto publicitário influencia a constituição de sentidos junto aos leitores, interpelando os mesmos enquanto sujeitos. O discurso publicitário tem um funcionamento que lhe é próprio e que, portanto, lhe dá especificidade. Assim sendo, esse discurso se particulariza, remetendo-nos às formações imaginárias e ideológicas ali presentes. Baseando-se na relação linguagem e contexto, a Análise de Discurso busca explicitar como, em seu funcionamento, o texto produz sentidos, sempre observando as condições de produção. Visa-se, ainda, à compreensão da historicidade dos sentidos e dos sujeitos. No que se refere às regularidades encontradas no funcionamento do discurso propagandístico, percebemos a relação estabelecida entre o sonho, o desejo e a ideologia; a sustentação dos dizeres dos anúncios pela forma-sujeito histórica da atualidade; o atravessamento (tanto no verbal quanto no não-verbal) do discurso publicitário por outros discursos como o ecológico, sobre a beleza, sobre a mulher, da globalização. This dissertation presents an analysis of the individualization process in the advertising discourse, based on the theoretical perspective of Discourse Analysis. The corpus consists of some advertising pages of Veja Magazine from May to July of 2008. Based on the advertisings, this research looked for describe some regularities of advertising discourse working, as well as set out some linguistic and non-linguistic marks of the individualization process in this discourse. Advertising plays a fundamental role in the contemporary society, expliciting the relation between subject and the social set, in certain historical period. Advertising texts influence the construction of meanings , interpellating readers. Advertising discourse has a proper working that particularizes it. So, this discourse is very specific, and reveal the imaginary and ideological formations. Based on the relation between language and context, Analysis Discourse points out, how in its working, text creates some meanings, always observing the production conditions. The aim, even, is to understand the historicity of subjects and meanings. Regarding to the regularities that were found in the advertising discourse there are the relation among dream, desire and ideology; statements of advertising are supported by the historical form-subject; the “crossing” of advertisings by other discourses like environmental, about beauty, about women and globalization discourse. Referring to the linguistic marks of individualization process, there are the pronominalization (your) which individualizes due to a certain kind of reader’s approach; the use of some adjectives (exclusive, personalized) which refers to the reader named as “you”; imperative mood that establishes identification between to say and to do. Si Léon Blum a fait l’objet de nombreux travaux historiques, relatifs notammentà son rôle politique durant l’entre-deux-guerres, il a rarement été abordé par l’anglede sa production intellectuelle. Cette recherche prend le théoricien Léon Blum ausérieux et restitue la densité de sa doctrine socialiste. Une doctrine atypique puisquefondée sur la compréhension des sociétés modernes comme mues avant tout, non paspar les dynamiques du capitalisme, mais par l’approfondissement du processusd’individualisation et de ses différents effets sur un certain nombre de groupessociaux : la bourgeoisie, les israélites, les femmes bourgeoises et le prolétariat. Ens’appuyant sur une exégèse approfondie des écrits de Léon Blum, ce travail entendainsi exhumer la richesse de son analyse des pathologies sociales et morales, résultantde l’approfondissement du processus d’individualisation, auxquels ces différentsgroupes sont confrontés entre la fin du XIXe siècle et l’année 1920, ainsi que les actionsdifférenciées que Blum élabore, et auxquelles il prend part, pour les résoudre.Ce faisant, cette recherche propose tout à la fois une relecture de sa trajectoirepersonnelle et une compréhension renouvelée de son socialisme. Léon Blum has been the subject of numerous historical studies, especiallyregarding his political role during the interwar period. His intellectual contributionshave however rarely been explored. This research takes Léon Blum seriously as atheorician, examining the depth of his socialist doctrine. His doctrine isunconventional, as it is based on an understanding of modern societies driven notprimarily by capitalist dynamics, but rather by the intensification of the process ofindividualization and its varied effects on several social groups: the bourgeoisie,israelites communauty, bourgeois women, and the proletariat. Through a detailedexegesis of Blum’s writings, this study seeks to unearth the richness of his analysis ofthe social and moral pathologies stemming from the deepening of theindividualization process, which affected these different groups from the late 19thcentury until 1920, as well as the distinct actions that Blum proposed and engaged into address them.In doing so, this research offers both a reinterpretation of his personal trajectoryand a renewed understanding of his socialism. It aims to enhance the historiographyon Blum specifically, the historiography of socialism more broadly, and theories ofmodernity, by providing insights that may deepen our understanding of historicaldynamics within modern societies

Resumo: Esta dissertação apresenta uma análise do processo de individualização do sujeito no discurso publicitário a partir da perspectiva teórica da Análise de Discurso. Nosso corpus constitui-se de algumas páginas publicitárias da Revista Veja do período de Maio a Julho de 2008. A partir dessas propagandas procuramos depreender as regularidades do funcionamento do discurso propagandístico, bem como delimitar as marcas lingüísticas e nãolinguísticas do processo de individualização do sujeito presentes no discurso em questão. A publicidade exerce papel fundamental na sociedade contemporânea, explicitando a relação do sujeito com o conjunto social, em determinada conjuntura histórica. O texto publicitário influencia a constituição de sentidos junto aos leitores, interpelando os mesmos enquanto sujeitos. O discurso publicitário tem um funcionamento que lhe é próprio e que, portanto, lhe dá especificidade. Baseando-se na relação linguagem e contexto, a Análise de Discurso busca explicitar como, em seu funcionamento, o texto produz sentidos, sempre observando as condições de produção. Em face da vulnerabilidade econômico-social corrente no mundo contemporâneo, as temáticas dos direitos sociais e dos programas de proteção à pessoa humana têm assumido grande proeminência internacional. Voltada a esse contexto, a presente dissertação desenvolve um estudo de natureza teórica com o objetivo de refletir sobre os impasses e desafios das políticas públicas sociais na atualidade. Enfocando, pois, as transformações que se deram no tecido social dos países do centro capitalista ao longo das últimas décadas, argumenta-se que o marco em que se constrói a proteção social no nível socioantropológico pode estar em vias de esgotamento. Isso porque, elaboradas no contexto europeu do final do século XIX e início do XX, em que vigorava uma sociedade de cunho industrial, com trabalho assalariado formal, famílias nucleares e fortes Estados Nacionais; as políticas de proteção social, embora focassem o bem estar dos indivíduos, atuavam em tal direção a partir de crivos embasados nos coletivos em que eles se inseriam laborais, familiares ou mesmo nacionais. Hoje, todavia, percebe-se que a dinâmica social não é mais a mesma e, devido ao próprio desenvolvimento socioeconômico, essas coletividades se dissolveram, vigorando na sociedade um processo de individualização, que tende a inviabilizar as políticas sociais nos ditos moldes. Assim, através do aporte de três autores europeus contemporâneos - Robert Castel, Gøsta Esping-Andersen e Pierre Rosanvallon - são aqui trazidas à tona as características fundantes da proteção social, para então, com base no referencial teórico de Ulrich Beck, ressaltar a individualização como um processo contraditório de socialização fruto da modernidade industrial e desafiador de sua proteção social. Destacando essa problematização, por fim, são analisados alguns entrelaçamentos e entraves dados às políticas sociais por essa dinâmica reflexiva, com vistas a contribuir para o debate de alternativas que visem amenizar a desigualdade social na contemporaneidade.
Themes regarding social rights and programs of human protection have assumed great prominence internationally in light of contemporary economic and social vulnerability. This thesis advances a theoretical study about the dilemmas and challenges that social public policies currently face. Focusing on the changes that have taken place in the social fabric of central capitalist countries over the past few decades, it argues that the socio-anthropological landmark under which social protection was built may be nearing exhaustion. Such protection was developed and consolidated in the late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century Europe, which were characterized by an industrial society, with formal wage labor, nuclear families and strong National States. In this panorama, social policies, although focused on the well-being of individuals, acted through channels based on their collectives either labor-, family- or national-collectivities. Today, however, social dynamics have changed in the face of socio-economic development, leading to a dissolution of such groupings and to a parallel process of individualization, which tends to derail the former molds of social policies. Thus, first, through the contribution of three contemporary European authors - Robert Castel, Gøsta Esping-Andersen and Pierre Rosanvallon - the thesis presents the fundamental characteristics of social protection; then, based on the theoretical framework of Ulrich Beck, it emphasizes individualization as a paradoxical process of socialization resulting from industrial modernity that challenges its social protection apparatus. Focusing on this scene, finally, some interlacements and obstacles given by this reflexive dynamics to social policies are analyzed, with the aim of contributing to the debate on ways to alleviate contemporary social inequalities.

A constitucional idade de qualquer intervenção no direito fundamental de liberdade depende, essencialmente, de sua fundamentação constitucional, que é controlada a partir da proporcionalidade. A proporcional idade, portanto, é a pedra angular do sistema de medidas cautelares pessoais. A decisão que impõe uma medida cautelar pessoal jamais pode resultar de uma intuição individual misteriosa, senão de um procedimento cognoscitivo estruturado e comprovável de maneira intersubjetiva. Daí a importância da investigação da existência de um direito fundamental do imputado à individualização da medida cautelar pessoal, para afastar qualquer discricionariedade judicial na sua escolha. O objetivo do presente trabalho, portanto, é propor um método racional, baseado no exame da proporcionalidade, para controle intersubjetivo da justificação da decisão judicial que, no processo penal, imponha uma medida cautelar pessoal.
The system of personal precautionary measures in Brazilian criminal procedure no longer revolves around preventive incarceration, as the legislature has established a listo f less restrictive precautionary measures, as alternatives. In this context, how should the judicial choice of the measure to be applied to cases be directed? The constitutionality of any intervention on the fundamental right of freedom essentially depends upon its constitutional foundation, wich is controlled by its proportionality. Proportionality, therefore, is the corner stone of the system of personal precautionary measures. The decision to impose a personal precautionary measure can never be a result of mysterious individual intuition, but rather be based upon a structured and verifiable cognitive procedure, in an intersubjective manner. Hence the importance of researching the existence of a fundamenta right of the accused to the individualization of personal precautionary measures, to rule out any judicial discretion in their determination. The objective of this paper, therefore, is to propose a rational method, based upon an examination of proportionality, for intersubjective control of the judicial decision justification process that, in criminal procedure, imposes a personal precautionary measure.

Like society, school in a very specific way has been changing over time in terms of the public and conceptions, becoming more and more comprehensive in the present day, the disabled person has not only conquered Its participation in this social space, but also has generated new figurations. Thus, we present the study that is characterized as our master's dissertation, being this a qualitative research whose methodology is established in a case study (Yin, 1994). We are confronting here the school that announces inclusive in relation to the school that is evident in the practice, aiming, mainly, to analyze the discourse of the professionals of the education of a school on public network in the city of Bayeux - PB on the inclusive education, in the concepts of German sociologist Norbert Elias: Individualization, Socialization and Figuration. We execute our research in three different moments: initial considerations, which we place our look as a researcher, indicating the place where we speak as well as fundamental concepts that will be deepened throughout the term paper. In a second moment, we established our methodological decisions guiding the research, presenting from the characteristics of our subjects and the field of research, until the analysis of content proposed by Bardin (2011) as a propulsive methodology to analyze the data collected as qualitative form. Then, we study a theoretical-analytical chapter that we discuss the conceptions related to special education, from the perspective of inclusive education and the process of individualization / socialization of the disabled person, approaching the concepts presented by Norbert Elias (1994, 2000, 2006, 2011, 2012) and also through the theoretical contributions, to analyze the statements collected in the semi-structured interviews. Among the authors who base our discussion, we emphasize the researchers of inclusive education: Sassaki (2006), Mantoan (2015), Santos (2002), Campbell (2009); Eliasian researchers such as Quintaneiro (2010) and Xavier and Sarat (2012), as well as Sobrinho and Alves (2013), as well as authors of the field of Education Cultural Studies, such as Silva (2000) and Hall (2000). Finally, we observe that the data collected in our research point to a school in the process of change, whose conceptions and practices still need to be rethought and reflected if we really want to build an inclusive school.
Assim como a sociedade, a escola de modo bastante específico vem se modificando ao longo do tempo, no tocante ao público e às concepções, tornando-se cada vez mais abrangente, de modo que nos dias atuais, a pessoa com deficiência não apenas tem conquistado sua participação neste espaço social, como também tem gerado novas figurações. Desse modo, apresentamos o estudo que se caracteriza como nossa dissertação de mestrado, sendo este uma pesquisa qualitativa cuja metodologia firma-se em um estudo de caso (Yin, 1994). Confrontamos aqui a escola que se anuncia inclusiva em relação à escola que se evidencia na prática, objetivando, sobretudo, analisar o discurso dos profissionais da educação de uma escola da rede pública do município de Bayeux – PB sobre a educação inclusiva, à luz dos conceitos do sociólogo alemão Norbert Elias: Individualização, Socialização e Figuração. Estruturamos nossa pesquisa em três momentos distintos, sendo eles: as considerações iniciais, na qual situamos nosso olhar enquanto pesquisadora, apresentando o lugar de onde se fala, bem como conceitos fundamentais que serão aprofundados ao longo do trabalho. Num segundo momento, firmamos as nossas decisões metodológicas norteadoras da pesquisa, apresentando desde as características de nossos sujeitos e o campo da pesquisa, até chegar à análise de conteúdo proposta por Bardin (2011) como metodologia propulsora para analisar os dados coletados qualitativamente. Em seguida, adentramos em um capítulo teórico-analítico no qual discutimos as concepções relacionadas à educação especial, na perspectiva da educação inclusiva e ao processo de individualização/socialização da pessoa com deficiência, nos aproximando dos conceitos apresentados por Norbert Elias (1994, 2000, 2006, 2011, 2012), além de, por meio das contribuições teóricas, analisar as falas coletadas nas entrevistas semiestruturadas. Entre os autores que ancoram nossa discussão, ressaltamos os pesquisadores da educação inclusiva: Sassaki (2006), Mantoan (2015), Santos (2002), Campbell (2009); pesquisadores eliasianos como Quintaneiro (2010), Xavier e Sarat (2012), assim como Sobrinho e Alves (2013), além de autores do campo dos Estudos Culturais da Educação, tais como Silva (2000) e Hall (2000). Por fim, observamos que os dados coletados em nossa pesquisa apontam para uma escola em processo de mudança e cujas concepções e práticas ainda precisam ser repensadas e refletidas se de fato quisermos construir uma escola inclusiva.

A Profilaxia Pré-exposição ao HIV (PrEP) é uma nova estratégia de prevenção na qual os indivíduos consomem uma combinação de antirretrovirais diariamente para evitar a aquisição do vírus da AIDS. O objetivo deste estudo foi compreender, a partir da experiência dos usuários de PrEP, a produção do processo de individualização e saúde. Analisou-se o conteúdo de discussões de um grupo de usuários de PrEP, e de pessoas interessadas no assunto, numa rede social virtual com predominância de gays, bissexuais e outros homens que fazem sexo com homens. Os resultados e discussão foram distribuídos em três artigos científicos: o primeiro, discute os conflitos da experiência dos usuários no contexto da sociedade do risco e da individualização. O segundo explora a produção das dimensões do desejo e do prazer sexual - mediados pela PrEP - na vida dos indivíduos. O terceiro, aproxima e discute a experiência dos usuários de PrEP com processos identitários autoproduzidos na individualização contemporânea. As considerações finais, por fim, refletem sobre as implicações às repostas sociais e políticas à epidemia de HIV/AIDS no atual contexto de quimioprofilaxias.
HIV Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) is a new prevention strategy in which individuals take a daily combination of antiretrovirals in order to prevent acquiring HIV. This study aimed to understand, grounded in PrEP users\' experiences, the production of the individualization process and health. We conducted a discussion-content-analysis of PrEP users, and of interested persons on the subject, in a digital social network. Gays, bisexuals and other Men who have sex with Men accounted for the majority of the group members. Results and discussion were presented in three scientific articles: the first discusses conflicts from the experience of PrEP users in the context of risk society and individualization. The second explores productions of sexual desire and sexual pleasure - mediated by PrEP - on individuals\' lives. The third approaches and discusses PrEP users experiences and self-produced identity processes in contemporary individualization. Final remarks reflects on the implications for social and political responses to the HIV / AIDS epidemic given the current context of chemoprophylaxis.

And so the practice to realize the truth, turn dyed into the net, wisdom. Jung's psychology points out that human psychology is projected into the external world, in order to develop the ego, the understanding adapts the social environment, but the projection function is the main body mind content, shows to the objective world, is the main body consciousness realization, is not the essence of the thing, the mortal person crawls to know the object, eventually causes the spiritual depressed void, and proposes the individuality, The positive imagination, the dream analytic to explore the heart, opens the mind consciousness, causes the consciousness and the unconscious to achieve the conscious conformity, completes the life the comfortable consummation.   The phenomenological theory is the Oriental Buddhism psychology, which puts forward the subconscious to transform the practice; Jung Psychology is Western psychotherapy, deep subconscious mind personality growth therapy. The eastern and Western mind seems to have its similarities and differences between Oriental science and Western Jung Psychology. Are there similarities and differences between the wisdom process and Jung's individualized process? This thesis analyzes the core thoughts of the two, and compares them from the connotation of mind, the core truth, the method of practice and the growth course four.   Through the research, it is found that there are similarities and differences between Alaya and Jung's psychology, that is, the knowledge of knowledge and Jung's collective unconsciousness, the same is the origin meaning of universal law, and the difference is that Alaya know each other differently and the collective unconscious everyone is the same. Only the knowledge of the last and Jung's ego, the similarities are all have the nature of holding, the difference is that the end of the blind to hold, self rational and ideal. The only knowledge of the first six and Jung's consciousness is that the first five knowledge and Jung's consciousness are cognition, and the sixth consciousness and Jung Ego are the dominant. The current and Jung's psychological projection of the only seed is connected with the theory of Jung's mental projection.   In the core truth: The only knowledge is the truth, Jung is the one. In the practice method: The only knowledge is the Origin achievement, Jung is the internal body certificate. In the course of growth: only through five of spiritual practice, Jung-calendar consciousness five stage of growth. There are complementary places in cognitive science and Jung Psychology, which have their own meanings and values in helping to understand human psychology and enhance spiritual growth, and the comparative study between the cognitive and Jung Psychology can enhance the dialogue space and modern attention of the East and West mind.

This chapter discusses the concepts of individualization and privatization as heuristic rather than explanatory tools for an analysis of contemporary and past religion. It takes Thomas Luckmann’s concept of invisible religion as its point of departure and locates ‘privatization’ within the history of sociological theories in the 1960s. ‘Individualization’ is analyzed as a part of sociological rather than historical theorizing about overarching social processes that were thought to be a defining part of ‘modernity.’ A critique of such views as part of auto-stereotypes of Western concepts of modernity and superiority leads to the suggestion to take up the potential of ‘individualization’ for comparative and historical analyses also for premodern and non-Western societies. It is suggested to distinguish different, and even contradictory, types of individuality. Finally, the problem of the paradoxical coupling of processes of individualization and de-individualization is discussed.

The book traces when and how western soldiers—once regarded as simple fighting tools—became the far less expendable beings that we know today. In Kant’s terms, the study traces the process through which soldiers have been turned from mere military means into ends in themselves. The book argues that such a major transformation is largely the result of a shift in the social meaning ascribed to soldier deaths. It will be suggested that looking at death can somehow provide a privileged angle to understanding the value that societies attach to life. The narrative emerging from the empirical evidence will show that the story of attitudes towards soldier deaths is the story of a gradual, increasing process of individualization in the social meaning attached to human loss in war. Such a development, which took centuries to emerge in full, was neither simple nor linear. It was a process that the state was temporarily able to frame in the collective narrative of the nation, but which ultimately has seen the increasing importance of the life of the individual soldier. In tracing the process through which soldiers have been turned from an amorphous collective into distinct individuals, this book shows how the emphasis on the primacy of the individual has further eroded the effectiveness of western warfare as an instrument of foreign policy. In particular, the modern, liberal conception of the soldier has had the unintended consequence of jeopardizing the Clausewitzian relationship between military means and political ends.

The Conclusion to Part II recaps the most important outcomes of the study so far which can be summarized as follows: The decline in the significance of the religious is closely connected to the transformation of its dominant forms. That means assumptions of secularization theory and of individualization theory are not mutually exclusive. It seems that people’s ties to religion and church begin to loosen in the dimension of practice. The theorem of functional differentiation can by and large be regarded as corroborated. Processes of vertical differentiation, the pulling-apart of the constitutive levels of the social element, treated mainly under the concept of individualization, essentially have a negative effect on religious and church ties, especially on conventional ties to the church. Processes of religious individualization take place within the church and outside of it. Religiously diversified societies display no higher level of religiosity than ones that are more religiously homogeneous.

The understanding of religious manifestations is assumed as one of the most relevant studies in the dynamics inherent to the process of acculturation occurred between indigenous and Romans in the Portuguese territory. The primary source for this view lies with the votive epigraphy, understood as a provider of divine names, rituals of worship, models of worshiping and forms of thought organization. The Portuguese Beira Interior, possessor a large number of epigraphic testimonies and repository of a remarkable diversity of theonyms and unique words in the region, appears as a singular area for the study of indigenous religious expressions and, consequently, for the study of pre-Roman communities. Taking into account this singularity and based on the joint analysis of the sum of votive monuments dedicated to indigenous deities; we have formulated a proposal of organization of the pre-Roman religious pantheon based on the degree of exclusivity from the theonyms recorded in the region under study. The ultimate goal focused the understanding of regionalism and religious thought established between the different deities, and the organization, in consequence, of the apparent disorder subsequent to such a marked diversity of theonyms. The result of this interpretation has expressed in the individualization of theonyms only mentioning in Beira Interior, in the particularization of regional theonyms which confirm to the possibility of a votive pantheon extended to adjacent regions, and in the distinction of these specifications in relation to a wider geographical scope of theonyms, i.e., in relation to the designations of the divine, widely represented in the rest of Hispanic territory. The proposed organization allowed us to perceive specific geographical areas of each of these groups, thus contributing to the definition of the fields of action of each evoked deities and the consequent definition of their attributes

The most important conclusions of this summarizing chapter are the following: The religious landscape of Eastern Europe is more diverse than that of Western Europe. The cases of Poland and the GDR confirm the hypothesis that there is a link between the diffusion of functions and the growth in the importance of religion. The strong processes of biographical individualization that occurred in the post-communist states did not necessarily intensify individual religiosity. The economic market model cannot be confirmed for Eastern Europe. There is in Eastern and Central Europe a demonstrable link between economic prosperity and the loosening of religious and church ties. What can act as a bulwark against the eroding effects of modernization is church activity on the one hand, and the everyday proximity, visibility, and concreteness of religious practices and rituals, symbols, images, and objects on the other.

AbstractThis chapter argues that TV series disseminate values of intergenerational solidarity to cope with daily struggles. The themes of filial piety and family relationships are recurrent. They convey a moral code designed to counteract the negative effects of individualization and the shortcomings of the social security system.The dynamics of family solidarity reflect a nuanced evolution in filial piety practices. While the Confucian thought placed different obligations on sons and daughters, filial piety is transforming from an unconditional duty to a more reciprocal and negotiated form, influenced by factors such as affects, economic and family situations.The findings also reveal the individualization of living spaces and simultaneously the maintaining of strong family ties. Financial and non-financial supports from parents remain a significant aspect of family solidarities. It is observed that the type of support changes over the life-course. For instance, once parents, 70% of respondents receive non-financial support from their families.The chapter concludes highlighting the challenges faced by the “sandwich generation” caught between supporting elderly parents and raising their own children. The precariousness of working conditions and the absence of a robust Welfare system further contribute to the strain felt by young adults.

AbstractThe conclusion provides a clear summary of the key findings and results. These results and their implications are discussed in the light of the actual challenges faced by China. Relying on longitudinal data, this book questions the impact of the dismantling of collectivist-type social policies on the dynamics of inequalities formation over the life-course. China has indeed undergone an extremely rapid transition from a collectivist welfare system to an individualization of the social protection system. Based on unique analyzes of the transition to adulthood of two birth cohorts, emblematic of the reforms carried out in China, the findings not only reveal what it means to become adult in post collectivist China, but also that the process of individualization follows its own path compared with Western countries. Individualization is partial and it comes with constraints carrying new social risks and inequalities. As discussed in the eight chapters around which the book is organized, the intensity of risk exposure varies according to gender and social origin. Furthermore, the findings uncover that since the end of 2016, the Party-State promotes a process of neo-familialization that turns on women to assume the tasks of care and to offset the decline in family policy.

AbstractThis second chapter explores the dynamics of individualization in China across time to unravel the complexities of the individualization process in a rapidly transforming society.The pre-Maoist period, often mischaracterized as solely group-oriented, is reevaluated through the lens of Chinese sociologist Fei Xiaotong. It not only reveals a society rooted in individual autonomy within a network of personal relationships, but it also sheds light on how the transformative intellectual movements of the early twentieth century sought to redefine the “Chinese national character” to modernize the country, challenging traditional family structures and promoting individual autonomy. The May 4th movement marked a peak in this reformist wave, introducing elements of individualism that clashed with Confucian morals.Furthermore, the chapter reveals that during the Maoist period, despite a shift towards collectivism, Maoist policies contributed to a partial disembedding of individuals from traditional solidarities, particularly for women.In a last movement, the chapter shed light on the subsequent economic reforms from the late 1970s and how it marked a new phase. While the Party-State maintains strong political and economic control, it enjoins individuals to take responsibility for their life-course. It supports individualization in the labor market while rejuvenating family obligations and solidarities.

AbstractAfter an introduction to the life-course perspective, this fourth chapter gives an overview of the research design. It details the reasons behind the choice of the birth-cohorts under study: the “generation of new China” and the “generation of reforms” that encapsulate the profound transformations from Maoist collectivism to Deng Xiaoping’s era of economic reforms.Furthermore, the chapter reveals how the mixed methods research design was built and it gives insights into the sample composition. The qualitative strand of the research captures variations in the transition to adulthood experienced by 45 individuals born between 1978 and 1993. It unveils lived experiences, challenges, and authentic voices. The quantitative strand reveals the journey to adulthood of 615 young people born between 1980 and 1985, and of 301 people born between 1950 and 1959. The quantitative data are retrospective longitudinal data. They were collected using a life-course matrix (calendar) to provide complete information on individuals’ biographical paths and their temporality.In the initial phase of the research, qualitative and quantitative data were separately analyzed to address specific dimensions of the research question. The chapter explains that subsequent step involved triangulation, facilitating the integration of insights from both data types.

Abstract Additive manufacturing processes have the potential to economically address the trend towards greater individualization and shorter product availability driven by globalization and digitization. In addition, future products will need to meet regulatory requirements for reparability to prevent increasing resource scarcity. By repairing products, an extension of the product life cycle can be achieved and, in particular, material resources can be saved. In the context of a shortage of skilled workers, future manufacturing processes must be as flexible as possible to meet a wide range of requirements. In the field of electromobility, the high volatility of the market presents special challenges for production engineering. To meet all these challenges, a highly flexible machine for the additive-subtractive manufacturing of highly functional polymer components was developed. With the help of this process chain with inline process control and an industrial robot for the integration of subcomponents, it is intended to make fully automated post-processing, repair and modification of multi-material components using the fused filament fabrication process possible.

The heterogeneities are characterized by several sedimentary petro- facies. Petrofacies identification involves manual processes and time-consuming analyses. The study of the diagenesis has been encouraged by petroleum companies, in order to understand the distribution of porosity in sandstones. This work aims to analyze the use of clustering approaches to identify petrofacies and assist the analysis of petrographic data. In addition, this study introduced the use the phylogenetic analysis tools to understand the diagenetic process that occurred during sedimentary rock formation. The proposed methodology reaches similar results to those obtained by the conventional method of individualization while allows for reducing time and cost in the individualization task.

The examination of the ‘incoming’ generation as a new sociocultural type of contemporary human remains relevant at all times. The eldest representatives of the new generation (so called ‘Generation Z’ or the ‘Digital generation’) are today’s alumni who crave to take over the world, re-arranging it in accordance with their interests and views, and claim to become the ‘leading generation’ of our century. Research into this generation, the attempt to understand it is undoubtedly an important task. This material is dedicated to the matter of defining the interrelation between individualisation and the massification in ‘generation Z’ representatives. The research methods used in the study are as follows: philosophic-anthropological analysis, content-analysis, and scientific data interpretation. The research work contains the thesis that tendencies of individualisation and massification in the lives of ‘digital children’ are inextricable and consistent. The role of the Internet in general and social networks in particular in the process of individualisation of Generation Z is discussed, touching on the problem of ‘stereotypness’, by which individualisation of a person begins to be built in cyberspace. The new generation, on the one hand, is somewhat disconnected from the real world, feeling and creating its uniqueness and individuality, and on the other hand, maintaining a sense of community, unity and solidarity, but only often through a virtual environment. At the same time, consolidating quickly and going offline as needed.

In the years when technology offers the possibility to create products that are more and more specialized and adapted to the needs of the client, the desire for education to be able to offer such a benefit is justified. But without a good quantitative and qualitative knowledge of the preparation, of the progress of each student, without a continuous monitoring of them, it is not possible to speak of an individualized education. The platform and the applications for students and teachers made under the name Smart Education allow for a common monitoring process, teacher-student preparation, display of contents for learning and tests, grouped by disciplines, general competences and specific competences. Education can thus go from one imposed to that which is achieved through cooperation, adapted to the intentions, possibilities and pace of development of each student. It can thus be thoroughly constructed, with the specific responsibilities correctly assumed: of the student for the effort and the interest for his own preparation and of the teacher for his most adapted support. The first part shows briefly, what is meant by smart education and why it is important to individualize education. The following is a way of collaborating and monitoring the results obtained and the progress made in the teacher-student couple in the direction of developing the students' competence in different fields, according to the school programs. In order to facilitate the collaboration, a platform has been built that apart from learning materials and tests, there is also a section with double monitoring of the student preparation. Using an application made for the Android operating system the students can go through the materials proposed for the study, solving tests and mark the mastery skills. Teachers can validate the competences what they have verified, view test results etc., using another Android application. Each descriptor / skill within the specific competences mentioned in the curriculum has a certain number of credits associated. In this way, the credits can be centralized on the specific and general competences. An overall, qualitative and quantitative picture of the preparation of each student is obtained, as well as the progress over a set period. In this way, at all times, the teacher and the student have an accurate picture, up to date on the level of competence in all the fields pursued, and the first big step for a good individualization is made.

The article is devoted to the substantiation of approaches to the effective use of advantages and minimization of disadvantages and losses of e-learning as a mean of forming mathematical competence of students in the conditions of research-oriented educational process. As a result of the ascertaining experiment, e-learning has certain disadvantages besides its obvious advantages (adaptability, possibility of individualization, absence of geographical barriers, ensuring social equality, unlimited number of listeners, etc.). However, the nature of these drawbacks lies not as much in the plane of opportunity itself as in the ability to use them effectively. On the example of the e-learning course (ELC) “Mathematical Analysis” (Calculus) of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, which is developed on the basis of the Moodle platform, didactic and methodical approaches to content preparation and organization of activities in the ELC in mathematics are offered. Given the specifics of mathematics as a discipline, the possibility of using ELCs to support the traditional learning process with full-time learning is revealed, introducing a partially mixed (combined) model. It is emphasized that effective formation of mathematical competence of students by means of e-learning is possible only in the conditions of research-oriented educational environment with active and concerned participation of students and partnership interaction. The prospect of further research in the analysis of e-learning opportunities for the formation of students’ mathematical competence, in particular, research and investigation tools, and the development of recommendations for the advanced training programs of teachers of mathematical disciplines of universities are outlined.

The article clarifies the concept of “virtual information educational environment” (VIEE) and examines the researchers’ views on its meaning exposed in the scientific literature. The article determines the didactic potential of the virtual information educational environment for the geography students training based on the analysis of the authors’ experience of blended learning by means of the Google Classroom. It also specifies the features (immersion, interactivity, and dynamism, sense of presence, continuity, and causality). The authors highlighted the advantages of virtual information educational environment implementation, such as: increase of the efficiency of the educational process by intensifying the process of cognition and interpersonal interactive communication; continuous access to multimedia content both in Google Classroom and beyond; saving student time due to the absence of necessity to work out the training material “manually”; availability of virtual pages of the virtual class; individualization of the educational process; formation of informational culture of the geography students; and more productive learning of the educational material at the expense of IT educational facilities. Among the disadvantages the article mentions low level of computerization, insignificant quantity and low quality of software products, underestimation of the role of VIЕЕ in the professional training of geography students, and the lack of economic stimuli, etc.

Abstract. The article dwells upon the scientifically relevant problem of using cloud-based GIS-technologies when training future geography teachers (based on ArcGIS Online application). The authors outline the basic principles for implementing ArcGIS Online in the educational process (interdisciplinary integration, the sequence of individualization in training, communicability, distance education and regional studies), and provide an example of an interactive map created with the help of the specified cloud GIS, since this kind of map is the most popular a form of research by geography students. In the article it is noted that integration of ArcGIS Online into the educational process allows the teacher to follow a clear pedagogical strategy, taking into account possible variants of its use (demonstration, direct mastering of GIS in a computer class and independent work in an individual mode). Considering cloud GIS as a new stage in the development of geoinformational education, the authors emphasize their key benefits (round-the-clock access, work with GIS package in the cloud, the ability to use other maps as well as the creation of their own maps and webapplications) and disadvantages (monetization of services, underestimation of the GIS role in the curriculum of the higher school, the lack of Ukrainian content, etc.).

This article demonstrates that mathematics in the system of higher education has outgrown the status of the general education subject and should become an integral part of the professional training of future bachelors, including economists, on the basis of intersubject connection with special subjects. Such aspects as the importance of improving the scientific and methodological support of mathematical training of students by means of digital technologies are revealed. It is specified that in order to implement the task of qualified training of students learning econometrics and economic and mathematical modeling, it is necessary to use digital technologies in two directions: for the organization of electronic educational space and in the process of solving applied problems at the junction of the branches of economics and mathematics. The advantages of using e-learning courses in the educational process are presented (such as providing individualization of the educational process in accordance with the needs, characteristics and capabilities of students; improving the quality and efficiency of the educational process; ensuring systematic monitoring of the educational quality). The unified structures of “Econometrics”, “Economic and mathematical modeling” based on the Moodle platform are the following ones. The article presents the results of the pedagogical experiment on the attitude of students to the use of e-learning course (ELC) in the educational process of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University and Alfred Nobel University (Dnipro city). We found that the following metrics need improvement: availability of time-appropriate mathematical materials; individual approach in training; students’ self-expression and the development of their creativity in the e-learning process. The following opportunities are brought to light the possibilities of digital technologies for the construction and research of econometric models (based on the problem of dependence of the level of the Ukrainian population employment). Various stages of building and testing of the econometric model are characterized: identification of variables, specification of the model, parameterization and verification of the statistical significance of the obtained results.

Анотація:
In modern conditions, innovative augmented reality technologies are actively developing, which are widespread in many areas of human activity. Introduction of advanced developments in the process of professional training of future specialists of socionomic professions in the conditions of adaptive training, contributes to the implementation of the principles of a personalized approach and increase the overall level of competitiveness. The relevant scientific article is devoted to the theoretical and empirical analysis result of conducting a psychodiagnostic study on an innovative computer complex HC-psychotest. of the features of the implementation of augmented reality technologies in the construct of traditional psychological and pedagogical support aimed at the development of emotional intelligence of the future specialist. The interdisciplinary approach was used while carrying out the research work at the expense of the general fund of the state budget: “Adaptive system for individualization and personalization of professional training of future specialists in the conditions of blended learning”. A comprehensive study of the implementation of traditional psychological-pedagogical and innovative augmented reality technologies was conducted in the framework of scientific cooperation of STEAM-Laboratory, Laboratory of Psychophysiological Research and Laboratory of Psychology of Health in Bogdan Khmelnitsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University. The theoretical analysis considers the structural model of emotional intelligence of the future specialist of socionomic professions, which is represented by two structural components: intrapersonal construct of emotional intelligence and interpersonal construct of emotional intelligence. Each component mediates the inherent emotional intelligence of interpretive, regulatory, adaptive, stress-protective and activating functions. The algorithm of the empirical block of research is presented by two stages: ascertaining and forming research. According to the results of the statement, low indicators were found on most scales, reflecting the general level of emotional intelligence development of future specialists, actualizing the need to find and implement effective measures for the development of emotional intelligence components in modern higher education and taking into account information development and digitalization. As part of the formative stage of the research implementation, a comprehensive program “Development of emotional intelligence of future professionals” was tested, which integrated traditional psychological and pedagogical technologies and innovative augmented reality technologies. This program is designed for 24 hours, 6 thematic classes of 4 hours. According to the results of a comprehensive ascertaining and shaping research, the effectiveness of the influence of augmented reality technologies on the general index of emotional intelligence is proved. The step-by-step model of integration of augmented reality components influencing the ability to analyze, understand and regulate emotional states into a complex program of emotional intelligence development is demonstrated. According to the results of the formative study, there is a dominance of high indicators of the following components: intrapersonal (50%), interpersonal (53.3%). Thus, we can say that intrapersonal and interpersonal emotional intelligence together involve the actualization of various cognitive processes and skills, and are related to each other.
