Abstract. Hryhorii Savych Skovoroda’s religious and philosophic ideas have attracted considerable attention in academic scientific discourse in postcommunist Ukraine. This is due not only to the humanistic-democratic paradigm of modern transformations in society, but also the methodological principles of historical and philosophical knowledge. We have tried to make a syncretic analysis of Skovoroda’s life and creativity based on the works of Romanian literary critic Mahdalyna Laslo-Kutsiuk (1928–2010), in particular by analysing the origins of Skovoroda’s philosophical doctrines, rethinking the Bible and specificity of his literary works. Skovoroda’s greatness lies in the fact that without losing his identity against the background of a rather fundamental philosophical tradition in Ukraine, he occupied and still occupies perhaps the most avant-garde position. He was one of the first philosophers to restore and develope the phenomenon of wisdom in new European civilisation, which was removed by the overall project of rationally-epistemological and rationally-scientific interpretations of philosophy after the ancient times. Analysis of the latest studies of Slavic and Western investigations of Skovoroda shows that this branch is interdisciplinary. Philosophers, historians, culture experts, literary critics, specialists in the history of religion have studied the heritage of this prominent Ukrainian philosopher. Expansion of the methodological spectrum started in the 1990s, meaning that the art of Skovoroda should be apprehended as penetrating synthetic phenomena in which the essential components of the Baroque world-view are combined with the culture of late antiquity, patristic tradition and even European humanism.

The paper compares Hryhorii Skovoroda’s fables and Emma Andiievska’s tales. These works proved to be thematically and stylistically related. They refl ect the dominant literary features of both authors, such as philosophical, didactic, symbolic, and aphoristic accents. The analysis is focused on the collections “Fables of Kharkіv” and “Tales” (30 and 18 texts respectively). The researcher explores the similarity of the works within their plots, ideas, and stylistics. Both fables and fairy tales show dialectical understanding of the antagonism hidden in the visible and invisible facets of the human life and world. Friendship, creativity, and courage of being oneself are common topics for these texts, where they are interpreted in the light of cordocentric philosophy and by means of the allegorical language of symbols. Despite the similarity of motives, the works by Emma Andiievskа keep considerable originality in content. She elaborates the themes of good and evil, faith, hope, and freedom, while Hryhorii Skovoroda is focused on the symbolic understanding of the Bible. The similar features urge to relate the writers’ texts at the stylistic level as well. A dialogue, a parable, a moral conclusion are inherent both in the fables and fairy tales. In addition, the works may be related due to the form of expression, the allegories, the symbolic imagery, and common prototext. The fairy tales by Andiievska, like the fables by Skovoroda, are rooted both in the folklore and the Bible. However, while the fairy tales reveal the prototext mainly through the interpretation of the plots, in the fables it is reflected at the lexical level. The compared works also have an extensive system of aphorisms (the folk and the authors’ ones), which reflect their main ideas.

The article analyses V. Domontovych’s biographical novel “The lonely traveller is heading along the lonely way” as a fictional specimen of the philosophy of existentialism in the Ukrainian prose of the 40s of the XXth c. that proves the intellectuality of Ukrainian literature. It is proved that the main statements of this direction in the philosophy of the twentieth century penetrate the entire work from the beginning to its completion at all levels, starting from the concept-headline, the essence of the central hero of the Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh, plot-compositional features, means of shaping, external and internal structure. Understanding of the work through the prism of this problem is carried out with the help of involvement of relevant considerations of Socrates, Hryhorii Skovoroda (the idea of finding an own place in life – “know yourself”), Albert Camus, Arthur Schopenhauer, and Nikolai Berdyaev (“Sisyphean work” (“The Myth of Sisyphus”) for the sake of establishing oneself ; a comparative description of Van Gogh and Mersot from the story “The Stranger”: the conflict between the person and the society, the problem of “the other”, voluntary “suffering – the highest law of life”, suffering as one of the main existential things, coming/escaping to God, testing yourself by a religion as your destination, disappointment in the voluntary apostolate, etc.), as well as the thoughts of Soren Kierkegaard, Carl Jaspers, Sigmund Freud and Carl Gustav Jung. The analysis of the work is carried out accordingly in the context of Ukrainian and world literature.

The study concerns the consideration of creativity in the light of the main philosophical studies of this concept. The activity of the creative process practically proves the presence of freedom in human existence. Views on creativity reflect the attitude of a particular thinker to the question of the opposition of freedom and predestination in general. The polemical moments concerning creativity are considered and the ways of their decision are offered. In particular, two opposing views on the work of Plato and Aristotle are studied, where human talent presupposes divine inspiration (Plato) or, accordingly, only personal efforts. Nikolai Berdyaev tries to resolve the controversy between Aristotle and Plato by combining their views. He endows man with divine properties and thus indicates the source of creativity in the middle of man himself. Philip Hefner gives the individual the status of “co-creator” and puts forward the theory that man is called to improve and complete God’s creation. The study also focuses on the content and purpose of creativity. Creativity for the sake of creativity itself, which Albert Camus wrote about, was criticized by M. Berdyaev, and he offered his vision of this issue: creativity for the sake of a universal goal. Camus’ views were generally shared by A. Bergson. In connection with this last controversy, the actualization of Hryhoriy Skovoroda’s doctrine of “related work” is proposed and the expediency of this actualization is argued. Our domestic philosopher originally balances the pessimism of Camus’s work and Berdyaev’s enterprising approach. Skovoroda supports his conclusions with accurate practical examples. Reasoned conclusions about the need to update the teachings of G. Skovoroda on creativity and «related work» are given.

The article considers the verbal ways of realization of the concept of EUROPE in Hryhorii Skovoroda’s language model of the world. Various lexical samples of the examined concept were discovered in the works of the outstanding Ukrainian philosopher: e.g. Europe, European, European; numerous names of European countries, cities, their inhabitants; names to denote other geographical phenomena of Europe. Most of these lexical units are found in the author’s philosophical dialogues. During the discussion, their participants show the awareness of realities of Europe at that time, peculiarities of its state system, local customs; history, geography, natural sciences. These fragments of knowledge constitute Hryhorii Skovoroda’s conceptual view of the world and more broadly – educated Ukrainians of the XVIII century. Such marked words instantiate the structural components of the concept of EUROPE: its notional, imaginary, valuative, symbolic, national-cultural and ideal components. Often these lexical units form integral part of comparisons – such as the large group of nouns in the locative case: e.g. in Europe, in England, in Hungary, in Norway, in France, in Rome, in Venice, in Paris, in Florence. Using mentioned words, on the one hand, Ukrainians demonstrate their knowledge about Europe, and on the other hand, compare life “here” and “there” (the paradigm is still relevant nowadays).

The article deals with the historical authenticity of the legends about the philosopher Hryhoriy Skovoroda's and Decembrist Kindrat Ryleyev's stay in the Holy Dormition Church (Osinove village, Novopskovsky district, Luhansk region) in the XVIII – XIX centuries. The author notes that this issue is practically not reflected in Ukrainian historical science. Among the few studies, there are local lore articles by Novopskov local historian V. Yaroshenko, collected on the site „History of our region on the river Aidar and beyond!”. The author considers it necessary to fill this scientific gap, especially since its study, among other things, allows us to consider the historical preconditions for the formation of the Ukrainian national movement in the first half of the nineteenth century. The pedigree of the Ostrogozhsky colonels Tevyashev, whose efforts brought to the settlement of Osinovo and surrounding lands, as well as the construction of the Holy Dormition Church are considered in the article. It is noted that the Tevyashevs had permanent ties with G. Skovoroda (who visited their estates) and with K. Ryleyev, who was the son-in-law of a representative of the family – Mikhail Tevyashev. The process of formation of Tevyashev's political views is shown, which significantly influenced the process of formation of the Ukrainian national movement of the first half of the XIX century As a result of the study, the author concludes that the legends about the visit of G. Skovoroda and K. Ryleyev Osinivska Church are reflecting the real history of communication of these prominent figures of Ukrainian / Russian culture with representatives of the Slobozhansky Cossack family Tevyashev, who took a direct part in the process of creating both Osinovka and the Church of the Assumption on its territory. Note that this communication gave impetus and socio-political context to the further development of the national movement in Ukraine in the first half of the nineteenth century. The article notes that this topic will be systematically and comprehensively studied in future scientific publications.

Literature can interact with reality in many possible ways, and one of them is ‘derealization of reality’. The term was introduced by Viktor Petrov (V. Domontovych) at the end of the 1940s; yet the first reflections on this phenomenon in the discourse of the Ukrainian literature appeared in 1913 within Mykola Yevshan’s articles on the specificity of Lesia Ukrainka’s creative work. Real Ukrainian life of that time did not provide a proper material for the philosophical perspectives of her poetry; it didn’t allow implementing the modernist aesthetics which were gradually developing in Europe and timidly penetrating into Ukrainian culture. To a certain extent Lesia Ukrainka’s situation may be compared to indispensability of the choice facing Gogol, who was compelled to write in Russian. This was, first of all, the consequence of the low status of the Ukrainian language in Russian Empire. In the study “Apotheosis of Groundlessness” (1905) Lev Shestov announced a new phase of philosophical understanding of reality. He related a process of cognition with a subject of cognition, i. e. with entire destiny of a human being. In his concepts of ‘derealization of reality’ and ‘groundlessness’ Viktor Petrov came close to Shestov’s existentialist ideas applied to the negativity and skepticism as the life strategies. Petrov, in a similar way to that of Hryhorii Skovoroda, insisted on the absolute autonomy of a person; he asserted one’s right to the critical perception of the world and even skeptical attitude towards it.The polysemy of the term ‘groundlessness’ allows using it in diverse contexts: from philosophical (Skovoroda, Swedenborg, Shestov) and mystical (Gogol, Balzac) to analytical and prognostic (V. Domontovych’s novel “Without Ground”), let alone the primitive meaning this term acquired in the literature of socialist realism.

Skovoroda’s philosophy is considered through the prism of philosophical ideas and features of the scientific discourse presented by the modern philosophers, in particular René Descartes. Special attention is paid to the similarity of these philosophers’ views, who focus their attention of the method of self-cognition. However, Descartes engages in the gnosiological aspect and pays attention to the process of cognition and on the correctness of conclusions. Whereas Skovoroda is concentrated on ontology or even on metaphysics speaking not so much about the process of cognition, but about the essence of existence. Besides this it is important that both thinkers have the same world-view intuition, in particular Skovoroda, akin to Descartes, considers God to be the only source of final and absolute truth.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the modern character of the Gregory Skovoroda’s philosophy of education. Unlike his contemporaries, he focuses on connections of philosophy and moral virtue. This position contradicts the tendency of a modern institutionalization of philosophy in the way of one more discipline of the modern research university. However, Skovoroda’s critical position does not put into question the modern content of his philosophy. On the contrary, Skovoroda’s understanding of philosophy reveals the salvific ways of its cognitive and practical rehabilitation. It is because his philosophy teaches people to be wise not only the university campus but in all spheres of their own lives. That is why he speaks not just of philosophy, but of the “philosophy of the heart”. Contrary to Christian thought, he believes that human’s transformation is possible not through faith and suffering, but through the discovery a “new body” on the ground of self-knowledge and love for oneself. Unlike the modern classical philosophy, Skovoroda considers self-knowledge, not as a function of mind alone, and the heart as a dichotomy to the mind. In accordance with contemporary educational theories based on the idea of anthropotechnical turn in philosophy, Skovoroda deems the heart an instrument for enhancing the mind. Involving the heart into the sphere of rational increases the thinking of knowledge about the specific situation of its embodiment and the cognitive capabilities of its carrier. According to Skovoroda, an important consequence of such human transformations should be the overcoming of fear and hatred of the “other”.

The article raises the topic of the specifics of the process of institutionalization of scientific achievements of the H. S. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of the NAS of Ukraine, especially the ones of the «Kyiv School of Philosophy» of the second half of the XX century and early XXI century, in the contemporary educational practices of Ukrainian universities on the example of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The celebration in 2021 of the 75th anniversary of the institute, which, together with the university, became the main centre of the Kyiv School of Philosophy, once again highlights the latter's role as a leading subject of institutionalization of the Ukrainian national philosophical tradition of late modern times. One of the most famous innovative academic, humanitarian projects and the first prototypes of an open society in the Ukrainian SSR, this institute was a major domestic participant in world philosophical life during the Cold War and became a centre of growth of the philosophical community in the independent Ukraine. An illustrative example of the introduction of new educational practices in classical universities of Ukraine in the context of digitalization of domestic higher education during the emergence of a global network society is an activity of philosophical societies and startups of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and the H. S. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of the NAS of Ukraine. It unites their common high scientific and educational potential. The Student Society of Oral History of Philosophy of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is one of the most famous. At the centre of its studies is initiated in T. Chaika’s “The Philosopher’s Oral Histories” project reconstruction of scientific biographies of the Kyiv School of Philosophy creators in the context of developing an oral history of philosophy as an alternative historical and philosophical approach/source/genre.

The article deals with theoretical approaches to shaping information and communication competence of future lecturers of professional education (occupational safety and health) during professional training in higher education institutions, in particular through the course on pedagogy of higher education. The concept of the information and communication competence is defined as a special quality, which requires future specialists to have relevant knowledge, abilities and skills to navigate in information space with the aim to obtain and apply information sources and information and communication technologies in future professional activities. It is found that vocational training of future lecturers of professional education (occupational safety and health) should be aimed at shaping information and communication competence. Therefore, it is important that innovative information and communication technologies should be incorporated in the educational process. It is clarified that the process of shaping information and communication competence of future lecturers of professional education (occupational safety and health) should be understood as a professional ability to navigate in information space in order to obtain (search, select and analyze) information sources and effectively apply information and communication technologies in future professional activities. It is specified that there are some effective ways to shape information and communication competence of future lecturers of professional education (occupational safety and health) through the course on pedagogy of higher education during professional training in higher education institutions. Thus, master students in professional education (015 Occupational safety and health) from Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi Hryhorii Skovoroda State Pedagogical University were involved in the research. It is proved that the effective method of shaping information and communication competence of future lecturers of professional education (occupational safety and health) is the project method, which combines theoretical knowledge and their practical application when solving professional problems. It contributes to developing cognitive skills, shaping the ability to independently construct their knowledge, navigate information space, etc.

The article features the analysis of game development software tools in higher educational institutions of Ukraine (Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi Hryhorii Skovoroda State Pedagogical University), Turkey (Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University) and Bulgaria (Trakia University). The article highlights the results of the research conducted by teachers and students of these universities. In this research, teachers with no previous experience in this field or specialized IT skills created educational games. Free software tools that can be used to create educational games were selected for this research (Construct 3, GameMaker Studio 2, Unity, Godot Engine, Unreal Engine 4). The study included two data arrays: the first was the opinion expressed by teachers who developed educational games, and the second – that of students who tested the final game product. We analyzed free tools for creating educational games according to such criteria: the need for programming language knowledge, availability of support forums and reference materials, ability to export data to multiple platforms and in many formats, add in-app purchases or various components to each object, whether both 2D and 3D games are supported, development speed. In the Ukrainian teachers’ opinion, GameMaker Studio 2 was the most effective, while teachers in Turkey and Bulgaria preferred the Unreal Engine 4. According to research results, it is worth noting a high interest of both teachers and students in the creation and use of educational computer games. It should also be noted that these results are relevant only for specific groups under study since they are based on the individual experience of a limited number of students. However, they are significant for shaping ideas about pedagogical strategies and allow teachers to learn new information, try new types of activities and interaction.

The practice of teaching English in higher education institutions confirms the efficiency and the popularity of using the blended learning methodology. The purpose of this study is to identify the tools of creative learning of English in a blended learning environment and establish their impact on the level of English language proficiency. To cover the purpose of this study, the authors employed theoretical and empirical methods, namely abstraction, theoretical analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction, observation, questionnaire survey, description, comparison, and generalisation. It is established that blended learning, as a new method of learning English, involves the use of modern interactive and innovative technologies in the educational process, so that the conventional educational process transforms into a creative process with an innovative approach to obtaining professional competencies by students. It is determined that the use of information and communication technologies in a blended learning environment opens up opportunities for students to independently investigate educational material, but this process should take place under the guidance of a teacher. It is proved that online platforms are equally important for creative learning of English, the advantages of which are mobility, systematicity, interactivity, and controllability of knowledge. It is established that teachers of the Departments of English and foreign languages of the Olesya Gonchar Dnipro National University, Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav, and Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University offer students to use such online platforms as Quizlet, Freerice, Learn English from the British Council Vocabulary.com, Microsoft Teams and the Flipgrid application for creative learning of English the effectiveness of which has been confirmed by a survey of students. The practical significance of the results obtained in this study indicates that the approach, according to which it is planned to survey students using a questionnaire method to identify the influence of information and communication technologies and creative learning tools on the academic achievements of students in learning English in Ukrainian higher education institutions, is of universal importance

The steppe contains many of the poet’s cultural and personal associations, and it is also a space inhabited by characters important for Arseny Tarkovsky. In particular, the closest interlocutors of the lyrical subject, Grigory Skovoroda and Ovid, are inextricably linked with the steppe universe.

The article describes the use of the «flipped learning» technology in the practice of higher education institutions. The benefit of the study is that the authors have proved that the technology of «flipped learning» is based on the ideas of active learning, involving students in joint activities and combined teaching system. This technology helps to optimize studying at higher educational institutions. The essence of this technology is that students learn the new material which is based on video lectures, presentations, or other media technologies on their own at home and the next classroom work involves discussing problem issues, consolidating theoretical knowledge and developing practical skills, assessing the absorption of new material. Moreover, this allows students to determine their own learning pace and develop individual teaching strategies. Another advantage of «flipped learning» technology is the ability to use more class time for group activities, where students can discuss the content of the lecture, check their knowledge and interact with each other in an interactive mode that promotes the development of their practical skills. It is proved that as any educational technology «inverted learning» technology is characterized by algorithmicity and a certain order of educational actions of teachers and students. For effective implementation of «flipped learning» technology, the certain cycles (phases) are used, such as a phase of viewing the educational video, a phase of interactive work; a phase of the result awareness; a feedback phase and more. Each stage requires not only student`s but also teacher`s activity, who have to develop additional training or control materials for classes. The authors have analyzed the advantages and difficulties of applying «flipped learning» technology in higher education institutions. The article outlines the features of «flipped learning» in high school (the expediency of its use in senior courses, low awareness of this technology, lack of time and the need for some adaptation to its application, low technical readiness of teachers to «flipped learning» technology) and describes the experience of using this technology in the practice of teaching «High School Pedagogy» subject for students of the Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi Hryhorii Skovoroda State Pedagogical University.

Innovative information technologies and the rapid rate of information updates reveal the need for more effective two-way communication, facilitation of interaction and collaboration, information exchange and flexibility. The article presents a research on cooperation tools in the virtual exchange project between the Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi Hryhorii Skovoroda State Pedagogical University (Ukraine) and the Trakia University (Bulgaria). A brief description of a specialized course in virtual exchanges related to energy efficiency psychology for future entrepreneurs and industrial workers is presented. In addition to covering the subject matter, educational information is designed in such a way that it enables one to acquire and practice ICT skills, in particular, to use various collaboration tools allowing interaction between students and teachers and having implications for learning strategies. The article’s goal is to test software tools that can be used for virtual exchange in higher education institutions at international level, evaluate their attractiveness to students, and determine whether the use of already familiar collaboration tools influences the general impression from virtual exchange. The experimental work involved 12 useful tools for cooperation in the information field. Leaders and outsiders were identified, that is, tools that participants in the virtual exchange preferred outside the exchange process and those that the participants never used. During each week of the virtual exchange course, new tools for teamwork were used. Leaders in terms of satisfaction with the process of virtual exchange were Skype, Zoom, Webex, Google G-suite, Workplace by Facebook, Cliqtalk, Padlet. The study provides a theoretical basis for informing all individuals interested in the virtual exchange about the relationship between specific tools for collaborative work in the process of virtual exchange and their influence on each other. The results will be taken into account for a more in-depth analysis of the tools functionality in the virtual exchange process. It was also important that absolutely new tools for virtual exchange could have a high assessment in terms of satisfaction with the process and its results. This suggests the motivation to learn, especially in the field of cooperation with the help of information technology, which is so appreciated by young people.

The article regards the creative contribution of the famous Ukrainian philosopher D. Tchyzhevsky in the global context. He was the first scientist who separated Ukrainian philosophy as a special and unique link of the Ukrainian culture and so launched a beginning of the Ukrainian study as a new scientific branch. He was a founder of the Ukrainian baroque study through the phenomenon of “style”. Tchyzhevsky proposed a new methodology of the Ukrainian baroque research. According to this original conception of D. Tchyzevsky, baroque was a style of art that could have had its influence on the culture in general. He was the first to research the philosophical legacy of H. Skovoroda not only as a famous Ukrainian philosopher, but also as a philosopher of the European level. The philosopher created his own concept of the second human birth through the interior human, which, in its turn, was based on the H. Skovoroda’s idea of the interior human. The latter shows 4 stages of its cognition: first stage is a preparative one and presents in recognition that the interior human exists. Second stage is a tentative to know the interior human. Third stage is a struggle of the interior human with exterior human. The final, forth stage, is a blossom of the interior human which had the attributes of God. Through the research of the Ukrainian mentality, D. Tchyzhevsky has characterized the condocentrizm as a main feature. The main representatives of the “philosophy of heart” (H. Skovoroda, P. Kulish, P. Yurkevych, M. Gogol) had different interpretations of the phenomenon of the heart. The philosophy of heart as an archetype of the Ukrainian culture in its understanding is linked mainly with cordocentrizm in the philosophical anthropology context. It means that this concept should not be regarded as an autonomic view, but as a range of symbolical worldview.

The article emphasizes the cultural and educational importance of H. Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy for the spiritual development of the Ukrainian society, especially in the direction of democracy and establishment of the worldview culture as a requirement for the culture of freedom. From the position of the included observer the author of the article describes some episodes of relationship in the scientist’s communities which can be defined as justice and solidary community. On the basis of the Heidegerian scheme, some dangers are analyzed as demands addressed to philosophical thinking. This scheme is used by structuring of the article. The metaphoric of these dangers indicates the contextual problems which are important for producing of philosophical ideas. The experience of the Institute of Philosophy gained by solving of problems is very remarkable for the fulfillment of philosophical studies and educational practices especially by mentoring of the postgraduate students. The fact of naming the Institute after H. Skovoroda is regarded as a symbolic act with a great creative potential and energy which can be used for reviving of national traditions of philosophical thinking. The role of lyric in activating of philosophical ideas is showed. The symbiotic coexisting of the poetry, art, journalism and philosophy is one of the original features of the Skovorodian tradition caring by the well-known representatives of the Institute. All these characteristics joined with the civic culture, which was demonstrated by all generations of the Institute, allow defining it as a metaphysical place with the ability both to follow on the road of the way of light and to represent it on the landscapes of philosophical science and education. The history of the Institute, especially, in the period of its post-totalitarian transformations, gives the opportunity of taking comparison with the Institute for Social Research Frankfurt. The civic courage of the Ukrainian intellectual elites was always initiated, supported and generated by philosophers gathering in Institute of Philosophy.

The paper deals with the research of the role of labour in the life of contemporary man in terms of the philosophical conception of the "congenial work" of Hrygorij Skovoroda. The reason for turning to Skovoroda's views is the importance of studying the phenomenon of labor, which appears in the XXI century in the sphere of common interests of economics, culturology, philosophy, sociology, psychology. Modern realities – migration processes that move a large number of people from continent to continent, from state to state; new technologies that have been replacing human labor since the industrial revolution, and so on. State social policy is aimed at providing the population with work and supporting those who are temporarily unemployed or completely incapacitated. The challenge for Ukrainian society is the same as for the world community, especially because the events in Ukraine since 2014. Ukrainian society must be ready for innovations in understanding and perceiving the phenomenon of labor in modern conditions. Issues of the balance between work and happiness, the welfare of the individual and the social, and the ways of self-knowledge are being updated. We explore the hard work as the main quality of a socially successful person in the history of Ukrainian culture, negative recovery from laziness and mismanagement. We accent the importance of historical achievements of Ukrainian ethnopedagogy with the transmission of knowledge and experience through imitation, as well as the gender aspect of folk labor education, in particular Ukrainian rituals and traditions of knowledge transfer and education from generation to generation. The modern philosophical view on the correlation of human involvement in work and the formation of a number of human virtues in contrast to laziness and the associated spiritual degradation and poverty is analyzed. Prospects for further research at the junction of economics, sociology, philosophy, psychology, related to the economic set of mind.

The article is devoted to the study of the role and modification of the Aristotelian principle of ars imitatur naturam in the formation of the concept of the Czech thinker, teacher, and theologian Jan Amos Comenius. The variety of approaches of Protestant thinkers to Aristotle's principle, born in the discussion, allowed Comenius to address it critically, perceiving it comprehensively and extending the concept of art to the sphere of education. Campanella's ideas moved Comenius to remove the veneer of indeterminacy from nature, promoting an understanding of it as a friendly and creative beginning. The author notes the peculiarity of Comenius' interpretation of this principle, giving it the meaning of universal nature-humanitarian mechanism which suited his concept of pan-sophia to the fullest extent. Comenius and G. Skovoroda, who developed the concepts of kinship and wisdom in the light of the ideas of enlightenment, thus laying the foundations of humanistic philosophy and pedagogy of the New Age and Enlightenment era, make an analogy between the interpretations of the Aristotelian thesis.
