Abstrak— Hidroponik menjadi salah satu alternatif bagi masyarakat yang ingin berkebun tetapi tidak memiliki lahan yang luas. Hidroponik dengan metode pengairan Deep Flow Technique (DFT) adalah jenis bercocok tanam dimana tanaman ditanam pada air yang dangkal, dan larutan nutrisi terus mengalir di sekitar akar tanaman. Kadar nutrisi yang diperlukan pada setiap jenis tanaman tentunya berbeda beda. Perlunya pemantauan tingkat kepekatan larutan nutrisi secara rutin akan menjadikan masalah bagi masyarakat yang hanya memiliki sedikit waktu luang maka dibuatlah sistem kontrol dengan menggunakan kontrol fuzzy, sistem kontrol yang dirancang pada penelitian ini memiliki kemampuan mengatur nilai atau kadar kepekatan larutan nutrisi teknik hidroponik sistem DFT secara berkelanjutan berdasarkan tingkat penyerapan nutrisi pada tanaman tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian tingkat keberhasilan 96,875 % untuk nutrisi dan 96.375% untuk air dalam mencapai set point. Pada ketercapaian durasi output memiliki nilai keberhasilan 98,4% untuk output nutrisi dan 98,5% untuk durasi output air dari perbandingan pemodelan di MatLab. Hasil pengujian pada tanaman packcoy, yang menggunakan sistem kontrol pertumbuhanya sedikit lebih baik dari pada packcoy tanpa sistem kontrol, dengan tanaman tertinggi 16 cm dengan menggunakan sistem kontrol sedangkan packcoy tanpa sistem kontrol tertinggi 15 cm

We show that for a confocally elliptical hollow section under Saint-Venant’s torsion, there always exists a confocally elliptical closed contour inside the section that exhibits no warping. This property is generally true without any regard to the thickness or the aspect ratio of the hollow section, as long as the inner and the outer ellipses are confocal. This property allows us to apply Packham and Shail’s (Packham, B. A, and Shail, R., 1978, “St. Venant Torsion of Composite Cylinders,” J. Elast., 8, pp. 393–407) superposition method for the torsion solutions of a two-phase elliptical hollow section. Previously, this superposition method is only applicable to symmetric compound sections with respect to a straight line or a circular arc.

This article, written by JPT Technology Editor Chris Carpenter, contains highlights of paper SPE 206516, “Stuck-Pipe Early Detection in Extended-Reach Wells Using Ensemble Method of Machine Learning,” by Rushad Ravilievich Rakhimov, SPE, Schlumberger, and Oleg Valerievich Zhdaneev, SPE, and Konstantin Nikolaevich Frolov, SPE, Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, et al. The paper has not been peer reviewed. The objective of this paper is to describe the experience of using a machine-learning model prepared by the ensemble method to prevent stuck-pipe events during construction of extended-reach wells. The tasks performed include collecting, analyzing, and cleaning historical data; selecting and preparing a machine-learning model; and testing it on real-time data by means of a desktop application. The idea is to display the solution at the rig floor, allowing the driller to take actions quickly for prevention of stuck-pipe events. Problem Analysis Packoff is the blockage of the annular space with drilled cuttings or parts of rocks fallen from wellbore walls. In a packoff situation, circulation is severely limited or impossible. With an inadequate response to packoff, fracturing of rocks below the bottomhole assembly (BHA) can occur, which leads to losses of drilling fluid and possible kick. In addition to time spent and technological risks, high expense is possible. In a worst-case scenario, the BHA can be left in hole and the bore must be redrilled, leading to a multimillion-dollar financial loss caused by nonproductive time. Packoff events fall mainly into two categories: - Caused by a cuttings bed that occurs when drilled cuttings are caught up while backreaming out of hole too promptly - Caused by wellbore collapse because of insufficient mud properties During the past 10 years, 28 wells have been drilled in the field of interest. Two hundred and twenty-seven incidents associated with stuck-pipe events have been registered. The light cases required an additional rereaming of the problematic interval, with a loss of time of up to 20 minutes. The most severe cases resulted in multimillion-dollar financial losses because of the BHA being lost in hole and the time spent on redrilling the wellbore. Classification of the incidents showed that 24 cases (11%) belong to the differential type of sticking, while 17 cases (8%) belong to the wellbore-geometry type and 186 cases (81%) to packoff events. The data collected at the field show that packoffs were encountered only during backreaming operations. Packoffs evolve rapidly. Thus, in most cases on the studied field, the time interval between trouble-free operation and sticking events is between 20 and 90 seconds (Fig. 1). Unlike physical modeling methods, machine-learning methods serve as a base for development of tools that work solely from historical data, allowing a more-precise simulation of real parameter behavior. Another advantage of machine-learning methods is the ability to select only the best historical cases for use. However, the use of historical data for prediction of downhole accidents in the well-construction process is not a novel approach. It has been used in the industry for more than 30 years. Pear is a typical fruit of temperate zones with high nutritive values and organoleptic properties, but when this fresh fruit being harvested, it will undergo chemical changes which can cause spoilage and product deterioration. Freezing could be as a preservative method to maintain quality attributes (colour, texture) of fresh produce that change over time. The purpose of this study is to determine ascorbic acid content and antioxidant activity of frozen fruit treated with osmotic solution. Pears were pre-treated with blanching, osmotic and both blanching and osmotic solution prior to freezing. Two varieties of pear fruit which are Asian pear and Packham pear were analyzed for physicochemical (colour and texture), antioxidative properties (ascorbic acid content, antioxidant activity and total phenolic content) and sensory acceptability. The pears were subjected to different pre-treatments prior to freezing such as blanching and osmotic solution during storage. The results showed that colour attributes of frozen pears were significantly affected by treatment which in contrast to texture properties of frozen pears during storage. Ascorbic acid content of frozen Packham pear was recorded the highest (6.38 ± 0.96 mg/100 g) after treated in osmotic solution compared to frozen Asian pear, the highest (4.62 ± 1.15 mg/100 g) was found in blanching treatment prior to storage, both tested after day 1 of storage. When treated in blanching treatment, the antioxidant activity of frozen Packham pear using DPPH assay exhibited (84.61 ± 0.69 %) contains high scavenging activity on day 1, while for Asian pear (67.63 ± 2.37 %) in blanching treatment on day 3. Using seven-point hedonic scale, sensory acceptability shows that frozen Asian pear treated in osmotic solution was highly rated among consumers with overall acceptance of 5.80 ± 0.85. Thus, combination of pre-treatment which were osmotic and blanching and freezing helps to retain the quality of frozen pears during period of storage.

One of the most significant phenomena in the processing of horticultural crops, leading to the damaging of the fruit, is fatigue due to repeated mechanical stress, which endangers the integrity of the produce, especially during transport. In the event of such damages, the immediate environment of the damaged fruit, or even the entire batch of crops may be in danger, as the biological processes leading to spoilage are not limited to the individual crop damaged. In the case of repeated effects, a force less than the static limit value is sufficient to cause spoilage, but in addition to the load, the material properties of the given crop, as well as the energy balance observed during damage play important roles in determining the mechanical resistance. Accordingly, in our work, a description of the spoilage process is built on the material models most characteristic of the selected crops, on the dissipated energy indicators measured during repeated loads, and on the definition and determination of the spoilage time. In the experiments, the fatigue indices of Golden Delicious apples, making up most of the apple production of the European Union, and of long shelflife Packham pears are compared by setting up linear regression models.

The pear cultivation in Brazil is the less prominent among the fruit produced and is considered the most imported fruit. The production of pears in Brazil is low because there are other fruit more adapted to the climate of country, with high quality and quickly economic returns for the producers. The in vitro propagtion is a way ro attend the producer s demando f cultivars with quality, because of its efficiency and good technical and economic return. There isn t suficiente production of pear seedings, because there is a lack of protocols for in vitro propagation. The objective of this paper was to establish a simple protocol for in vitro propagation of pear, cv. Packam s Triumph, to produce healthy and quality seedlings to increase national production of pears. Experiments were performed for each stage of in vitro propagation. For in vitro establishment were tested diferente explants and asepsis. The explants were buds from mother plants in the greenhouse room, meristems and buds from mother plants of the field. The asepsis tested were hypochlorite and calcium hypochlorite. The variables analyzed were oxidation, bacterial and fungal contamination. For the in vitro multiplication BAP was tested at concentrations 0.2, 0.8, 1.4 and 2.0 mg.L¯¹ in two types of culture médium (MS and MS⅟2). The variables analyzed were number of buds and length of shoots. For the in vitro rooting the auxins NAA and IBA were tested in concentrations 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 3.0 mg.L¯¹. the variables amalyzed were formation os roots and callus. The results for in vitro establishment determined that fungal and bacterial contamination showed no significant diferences for the aseptic types and the explants that had higher incidence in the two cases were the buds of field plants. For oxidation the explants with higher incidence were the buds of field plants, regardless of asepsis, and meristems treated with calcium hypochlorit. For in vitro multiplication was deermined that the best concentration of BAP for buds development was 1.3 mg.L¯¹ and to lenght of shoots the best culture médium was MS. For in vitro rooting the auxins NAA showed no significant diferences in relation to adventitious roots formation. The treatment that showed less formation of callus were ANA in doses 0.1, 0.5 and 1.0 mg.L¯¹. The auxin IBA was significant for the variables length and number of roots. The increase of IBA caused a decrease in length f roots, and reached the highest number of roots at dose 1.6 mg.L¯¹. The variables fresh and dry weight of root, and shoot length were not directly affected by the type and dose of IBA and NAA
O cultivo de pêra no Brasil não tem destaque entre as frutíferas mais produzidas, sendo considerada a fruta mais importada. A produção de pêra no Brasil é reduzida, pois existem outras frutíferas melhor adaptadas às condições climáticas do país, com alta qualidade e que dão retorno econômico ao produtor mais rapidamente. A propagação in vitro é uma maneira de atender a demanda dos fruticultores por cultivares de qualidade, que devido a sua eficiência possui um bom retorno técnico e econômico. Não há produção suficiente de mudas de cultivares-copa de pêra, pois há uma carência de protocolos de propagação in vitro. O objetivo do trabalho foi estabelecer um protocolo de propagação in vitro de pereira, cv. Packham s Triumph, visando à produção de mudas sadias e de qualidade para incrementar a produção nacional de peras. Foram realizados experimentos para cada estágio da propagação in vitro. Para o estabelecimento in vitro foram testados diferentes explantes e assepsias. Os explantes utilizados foram gemas oriundas de plantas matrizes acomodadas em casa de vegetação, meristemas e gemas oriundas de plantas matrizes do campo. As assepsias testadas foram hipoclorito de sódio e hipoclorito de cálcio. As variáveis analisadas foram oxidação, contaminação bacteriana e fúngica. Na multiplicação in vitro o BAP foi testado nas concentrações 0,2; 0,8; 1,4 e 2,0 mg.L-1 sob dois tipos de meio de cultura (MS e MS ½). As variáveis analisadas foram número de gemas e comprimento de brotos. No enraizamento in vitro foram testadas as auxinas ANA e AIB nas concentrações 0,1; 0,5; 1,0; 1,5; 2,0 e 3,0 mg.L-1. As variáveis analisadas foram formação de raízes e de calo, comprimento e número de raiz, massa fresca e seca de raiz e comprimento de parte aérea. Os resultados obtidos no estabelecimento in vitro determinaram que a contaminação fúngica e bacteriana não apresentaram diferenças significativas quanto ao tipo de assepsia e os explantes que tiveram maior incidência nos dois casos foram as gemas de plantas do campo. Os explantes que apresentaram maior oxidação foram as gemas de plantas do campo, independente da assepsia, e o meristema tratado com hipoclorito de cálcio. Na multiplicação in vitro foi determinado que a melhor concentração de BAP no desenvolvimento de gemas foi 1,3 mg.L-1 e para comprimento de broto o melhor meio de cultura foi o MS. No enraizamento in vitro, as auxinas ANA e AIB não apresentaram diferenças significativas em relação à formação de raízes adventícias. Os tratamentos em que houve menor formação de calo foram ANA nas doses 0,1; 0,5 e 1,0 mg.L-1. A auxina AIB foi significativa para as variáveis comprimento e número de raiz. O aumento da concentração do AIB causou uma diminuição no comprimento das raízes e atingiu um maior número de raízes na dose de 1,6 mg.L-1. Já as variáveis massa fresca e seca de raiz, e comprimento de parte aérea não foram diretamente afetadas pelo tipo e dose de AIB e ANA

Анотація:
Energy storage is a major limiting factor for small unmanned ground vehicle endurance. This paper presents a hybrid model of a robot power system and a method to optimize power production and limit power loss for extended UGV operation. The optimization is based on a hybrid automaton model of the power system and produces the optimal controls for the different power components. An abstraction of power use and averaging of dynamics within a state can model the system with sufficient accuracy for power system optimization. Simulation studies of a Packbot equipped with a fuel cell and a battery are presented. The optimized power system is shown to require less energy over the mission compared to a baseline controller.
