Повний текст джерелаThis work is rooted in the conviction that our economies need both better investments in intellectual capital and better management practices in order to achieve higher long-term growth. Starting acknowledging the increasing importance of the knowledge economy phenomenon, this study assessed the effects that HR practices and renewal capability can exert on firm’s intellectual capital in order to create a sustainable competitive advantage. The adopted model has considered intellectual capital as the sum of three components: human capital, relational capital and structural capital. In a dynamic environment, such as today’s competitive arena, intellectual capital can be the key factor to obtain a sustainable competitive advantage, because it is rare, valuable and difficult to imitate or substitute. For this reason, the present study has examined the key drivers to manage intellectual capital in a turbulent environment evaluating the impact of firm’s intellectual capital components on employees’ satisfaction and service quality. This research has gathered data through surveys of various Italian business units operating in the financial sector and some of their ICT partners specialised in human capital-intensive activities such as software development. A set of findings has been generated. First, renewal capability mediates the relationships between HR practices and all intellectual capital components. Second, human capital has a direct positive relationship with service quality. Third, structural capital has a direct positive relationship with employees’ satisfaction. Hence, employees’ satisfaction and service quality are nurtured and fostered by different crucial drivers: structural capital and human capital respectively. From a managerial and practical perspective these findings are very interesting in order to deliberating the allocation of firms’ resources to obtain effective intellectual capital configurations. Future researches may investigate the contributions of different stakeholders to the antecedents of intellectual capital as well as the contributions to its consequences in order to produce value and, in turn, stakeholders’ satisfaction adopting a managing-for-stakeholders approach. Suppliers and customers play a central role and for this reason they deserve particular attention in future studies.

Повний текст джерелаThe combined effects of economic globalization, development of transport systems and new communication techniques have had a profound infuence on world development. The expansion of transport systems favors the increase of geographic mobility so that the existence of a complete highways network, adequately managed and maintained and with sufficient capacity, is essential for the good progress of the national economy. The expansion of transport systems is coupled with the rise in land prices and the increase of air and noise pollution. In this development, we observe that dangerous goods are used in many processes in industries all over the world and this has been justified by the economic revenue which is generated by their use. A dangerous good is any solid, liquid, or gas that can harm people, other living organisms, property, or the environment. They are often subject to chemical regulations. An equivalent term, used almost exclusively in the United States, is hazardous material (hazmat or HAZMAT). Due to its nature, every production, storage, and transportation activity related to the use of HAZMAT has many risks for both society and the environment. HAZMAT are transported throughout the world in a great number of road shipments. In spite of HAZMAT accidents being rare events, the commercial transport of HAZMAT can be catastrophic in nature and poses risks to life, health, property, and the environment due to the possibility of an unintentional release. In this scenario, a new factor has acquired more and more importance: sustainability. As a consequence, it is necessary to integrate risk mitigation and prevention measures into transport management in order to avoid the risks turning into real events. Three different topics are developed within the above framework. 1 - A business approach, named corporate sustainability, that creates longterm shareholder value by exploiting opportunities and managing risks deriving from economic, environmental and social developments. 2 - An assessment of risk and accident impacts related to dangerous goods transport with particular attention paid to HAZMAT on the road in a motorway environment. 3 - A DSS (Decision Support System) model for the management of the HAZMAT transportation.

Повний текст джерелаLa investigación analiza la experiencia del Programa de Lotes con Servicios en Villa Brown, Florencio Varela, Provincia de Buenos Aires entre los años 2013 y 2020, llevado a cabo por el municipio a propuesta del Consejo Comunitario para la Tierra y la Vivienda. Este programa se lleva a cabo en el marco de la ley 14449 conocida como “Ley de acceso justo al hábitat” sancionada en el año 2012, utiliza terrenos de propiedad del municipio, con el objetivo de permitir el acceso a suelo urbano a la población del partido, en continuidad con las políticas más generales del Estado en materia de urbanizaciones sociales. En ese sentido se examinan las distintas lógicas y articulaciones puestas en juego por los protagonistas en el marco de esta experiencia, dada en un territorio determinado, con una población heterogénea, a partir de un modelo de política sobre el hábitat popular y teniendo en cuenta a las organizaciones e instituciones que trabajan en el territorio. Entre ellas podemos nombrar al estado en sus tres niveles: nacional, provincial y municipal, a la Pastoral Social del Obispado de Quilmes, Berazategui y Florencio Varela, a la Central de Trabajadores de la Argentina (CTA), el Movimiento Evita y la Corriente Clasista y Combativa (CCC). Esta investigación tiene como objetivo indagar las distintas articulaciones entre las familias, las instituciones y las organizaciones sociales entre sí, como también las lógicas que influyen en sus acciones, y su incidencia en el despliegue de la experiencia del Programa de lotes con servicios en Florencio Varela entre el 2013 y el 2020. Con ese objetivo, primero contextualizamos históricamente las trayectorias del Estado, las organizaciones e instituciones sociales involucradas en el tema de hábitat popular, específicamente en Florencio Varela y el impacto en los barrios y asentamientos del territorio, fundamentalmente a partir de la sanción de la Ley 14449 de Acceso justo al hábitat. Seguidamente, describimos a los actores intervinientes, sus metodologías de trabajo, y lógicas sectoriales puestas en juego a partir del concepto de matriz social. De esta manera buscamos problematizar las disputas por el acceso al hábitat en el conurbano sur de la provincia de Buenos Aires y la incidencia sobre la trayectoria de una política pública sobre el tema a partir de la experiencia de articulación y colaboración entre los distintos niveles del Estado, las instituciones y organizaciones sociales y los habitantes del loteo social, para luego concluir analizando las distintas lógicas relacionales y racionalidades puestas en juego al interior de las mismas.
