Since transmission electron microscopy (TEM) was developed about 80 years ago, numerous strategies have been attempted to visualize living cells at high resolution. The harsh environment within the TEM (mostly the vacuum and damage from a fixed beam of electrons) presents challenges. Some approaches have been to fabricate chambers within the TEM that provide a more “friendly” environment for living cells (that is, less stringent vacuum), but they have limitations. Impressive images have been generated with various cryogenic techniques, but frozen cells are not alive or in their native state in the traditional sense. Nihar Mohanty, Monica Fahrenholtz, Ashvin Nagaraja, Daniel Boyle, and Vikas Berry have developed an ingenious solution to the problem by “wrapping” cells with modified graphene.

The basic substance of Mahadevi's poetry is pain. His poetry has the joy of pain, the beauty of pain and self-surrender to pain. Pain is the motivation and inspiration of his life. As a result of this inspiration, she has been able to create the best poetry. He has written subjective poems from beginning to end and his poetic path is spiritual. His deity is the ever-conscious Brahman of the monists and no gross form is possible for it. But Mahadevi has accepted that element as the most beloved. Due to which his early poems have got a touch of cosmicity, which is especially reflected in 'Nihar'. But he soon took care of himself. Rising from the individual and moving towards the universe, he has dedicated his pain to the eternal divine worship. Abstract in Hindi Language: महादेवी के काव्य का मूल द्रव्य वेदना हैं। उनके काव्य में वेदना का आनंद, वेदना का सौदंर्य और वेदना के प्रति आत्म-समर्पण है। वेदना उनके जीवन की स्फूर्ति तथा प्रेरणा है। इसी प्ररेणा के फलस्वरूप ही वे श्रेष्ठ काव्य की रचना कर सकी हैं। उन्होंने प्रारम्भ से लेकर अंत तक आत्मपरक कविताएँ लिखी है तथा उनका काव्य पथ आध्यात्मिक है। उनका आराध्य अद्वैतवादियों का चिर-चेतन ब्रह्म है तथा इसका कोई स्थूल रूप सम्भव नहीं है। परंतु महादेवी ने उस तत्व को प्रियतम के रूप में ग्रहण किया है। जिसके कारण उनकी प्रारम्भिक कविताओं में लौकिकता का पुट आ गया है जो कि विशेषतः ‘निहार‘ में झलकता है। लेकिन शीघ्र ही उन्होंने स्वंय को संभाल लिया है। व्यष्टि से उठ कर समष्टि की ओर बढ़ते हुए उन्होंने अपनी वेदना को चिरन्तन अलौकिक आराध्य के प्रति समर्पित कर दिया है। Keywords: महादेवी वर्मा, विरह, वेदना, प्रभा, काव्य।

Анотація:

This paper investigates listed firm efficiency on Pakistan Stock Exchange by using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The reason for application and calculation of the DEA score is to know how much the firms are efficient in utilizing their resources to be converted into output (sales/Net Income). An optimization technique (DEA) that helps calculate efficiencies of firm’s decision making Units (DMU’s) by taking different inputs and outputs variables. This paper uses DEA in measuring efficiency of 136 Pakistani firms listed on Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). Using secondary data set of 136 firms for the period 2008-2017, efficiency measurements are calculated by using financial ratios and financial indicators as input and output variables. Results show that some of the firms are efficient in utilizing their available resources in an efficient way to convert it into output, while some are inconsistent in efficiently utilizing their resources (inputs) to get the desired outputs.

Cet article montre l'importance d'adapter les différentes théories littéraires de traduction ainsi que de mettre la traduction donnée dans son contexte approprié. L'introduction vise à fournir au lecteur de langue cible avec une meilleure compréhension du poème traduit "Belqis", un poème politique célèbre par Un poète arabe a appelé Nizar Qabbani. La première section traite de l'introduction aux théories de la traduction avec référence particulière aux «Belqis." Je soutiens que l'approche de crédit correspond à la traduction de la poésie depuis la traduction des approches différentes peuvent pas supporter séparément pour répondre aux exigences de la traduction littéraire. Le second présente à la fois une esquisse biographique du poète, ce qui reflète une forte corrélation entre sa vie et de pensées comme on le voit dans sa poésie, et fournit au lecteur un contexte politique qui donne un éclairage sur le contexte culturel et intertextuel de la traduction. Le poème, mais un chant funèbre sur la femme morte, découvre peu à peu les mauvaises pratiques politiques arabes. les implications politiques de l'image de la femme sont un rappel de les territoires occupés. En fait, le poème se lamente tous les peuples arabes qui souffrent de leurs dirigeants. Par conséquent, je soutiens que le poème est le cri du Qabbani pour réveiller les gens partout dans le monde arabe.

Анотація:

This article uncovers women’s rights, education, and the appearance of women in the field of literature during the Tanzimat and Second Constitutional Period of Ottoman Empire in Turkiye and the contribution of several writers and women poets. Working with correspondence, institutional and Social Science Index, and Google scholar publications, I show how women were provided with educational opportunities, and what legal and social regulations were done for women to be seen in the field of literature during the Tanzimat and Second Constitutional periods. I argue the activities of Poets and writers like Namik Kemal, and Semsettin Sami and Women poets Makbule Lem’an Hanim, Yasar Nezihe Bukulmez, Nigar Hanim, Ihsan Raif Hanim, and Sukufe Nihal for women to be seen in the field of literature. This article concludes that during the Tanzimat and Second Constitutional periods, women’s liberation was experienced in all aspects of life. Women poets pioneered the beginning of women’s poetry.

Indian folk arts establish the ethos of life and the foundation of folk culture. The culture and civilization of Nimar can be seen in folklore, folklore, folk paintings. The inclusion of symbols in the making of various Teej-festivals folk paintings shows the presence in their sociality. Parallel development of a beautiful beautiful painting tradition of land ornamentation with paintings made on the occasion of rituals. The design of geometrical form is reflected in land ornamentation. Jyoti, Nag, Kuldevi, Dussehra, Bhayuduj, Sureti, Ahoi Ashtami, Sanjhafuli, Diwali Hatay, Manna, Satiya, Check Kalash etc. are prominent in the mural paintings. The basic feeling of folk paintings is graphical. For illustration, the primary colors are red, yellow, blue, green, black and white, etc. The artist prepares the traditional method. There is no definite rule of color legislation in folk paintings and styles of making paintings are like stereotypes. Every activity in life tries to express in pictures the folk artist. Due to the influence of modern modernity, activities related to the picture tradition are now getting reduced. There is a need to save these colors so that this art flourishes. भारतीय लोक कलाऐं जीवन के आचार-विचार तथा लोक संस्कृति की नींव स्थापित करती है। निमाड़ की संस्कृति व सभ्यता, को लोकगीत, लोककथा, लोकचित्रों में देखा जा सकता है। विभिन्न तीज-त्यौहारों लोक चित्रों के बनाने में प्रतीकों का समावेष उनकी सामाजिकता में उपस्थिती को दर्षाते है। अनुष्ठानों के अवसर पर बनाये जाने वाले चित्रों के साथ भूमि अलंकरण की एक मांगलिक सुन्दर चित्र परम्परा का समानान्तर विकास हुआ है। भूमि अलंकरण में ज्यामितीय रूप के आकल्पन की प्रमुखता दर्षित होती है। भित्ती चित्रों में जीरोती, नाग, कुलदेवी, दषहरा, भाईदूज, सुरेती, अहोई अष्टमी, सांझाफूली,दीवाली हाते, मांड़ना, सातिया, चैक कलष आदि प्रमुख है। लोक चित्रों की मूल भावना रेखांकन की होती है। चित्रण के लिये लाल, पीला, नीला, हरा, काला और सफेद आंिद प्राथमिक रंगों को कलाकार पारम्परिक विधि से तैयार करते है। लोक चित्रों में रंग विधान का कोई निष्चित नियम नहीं होता है व चित्रों को बनाने की शैलियाॅं रूढ़ि की तरह होती है। जीवन की प्रत्येक गतिविधि को चित्रों में व्यक्त करने की कोषिष लोकचित्र कलाकार करता है। वर्तमान आधुनिकता के प्रभाव के कारण चित्र परम्परा से जुडे़ क्रिया कलाप अब कम होते जा रहे है। आवष्यकता है कि इन कलारूप को सहेजा जाए जिससे यह कला पल्लवित पुष्पित होती रहे।

ABSTRACT We introduce algorithms for black hole physics, i.e. black hole formation, accretion, and feedback, into the Numerical Investigation of a Hundred Astrophysical Objects (NIHAO) project of galaxy simulations. This enables us to study high mass, elliptical galaxies, where feedback from the central black hole is generally thought to have a significant effect on their evolution. We furthermore extend the NIHAO suite by 45 simulations that encompass z = 0 halo masses from 1 × 1012 to $4 \times 10^{13}\, \mathrm{M}_{\odot }$, and resimulate five galaxies from the original NIHAO sample with black hole physics, which have z = 0 halo masses from 8 × 1011 to $3 \times 10^{12}\, \mathrm{M}_{\odot }$. Now NIHAO contains 144 different galaxies and thus has the largest sample of zoom-in simulations of galaxies, spanning z = 0 halo masses from 9 × 108 to $4 \times 10^{13}\, \mathrm{M}_{\odot }$. In this paper we focus on testing the algorithms and calibrating their free parameters against the stellar mass versus halo mass relation and the black hole mass versus stellar mass relation. We also investigate the scatter of these relations, which we find is a decreasing function with time and thus in agreement with observations. For our fiducial choice of parameters we successfully quench star formation in objects above a z = 0 halo mass of $10^{12}\, \mathrm{M}_{\odot }$, thus transforming them into red and dead galaxies.

Abstract The ancient India's indigenous tantric community had its unique medicinal philosophy as well as clinical practice, distinct from Ayurveda. One such tantric community was Assam's Vedic Jiva Upakarvada practitioners (1). These practitioners developed an unique health care practice in the silk village of Sualkuchi, and the adjoining area, a part of the Vedic Silk Road (the North-South Silk Road stretching from Tibet to South East Asia via India's Assam state). We have been systematically studying the medical practice of these healing practitioners for the last two decades (1). These practitioners used more than 36 different plant-derived products, as well as soil, plus fecal and urine products rich in diverse microbial communities. They postulated that these agents contain good nigudah (1), microscopic life forms that can activate Avatar Kosha in our body (1). Using our pre-clinical in vitro as well as mouse model of cancer stem cells (2-4), we have screened 12 out of 36 plants, as well as microbial-rich soil of a sacred hill area frequented by tantric practitioners to collect herbal plants, animal feces and soils (the Suad muni ashram area of Sualkuchi). Here we report our preliminary results of the screening of these ingredients for their potential immunotherapy uses. Method: These herbal plants/soils/animal feces items were dissolved in the RPMI culture media using a traditional method using water, as well as special plant-derived juices. The conditioned RPMI culture media was then used to culture CSCs of tumor stemness defense (TSD) phenotype (2). Results: Our preliminary results show that while some of the agents induce apoptosis of TSD, other agents are capable of inducing TSD phenotypes to CSCs of diverse tumors including oral cancer (SCC-25 cell line), breast cancer (MCF-7) and colon cancer cell line (LOVO). Conclusion: The traditional healer used products may have unique anti-cancer including immuno-activating properties that need further exploration. Abstract Ovarian Cancer (OC) is the most common gynaecological malignancy and the eighth most diagnosed cancer in females worldwide. Currently, it is the fifth leading cause of cancer-related mortality among patients globally, largely due to delayed diagnosis, chemotherapy resistance, high metastasis rates, and subtype heterogeneity. Recent OC research highlights extracellular vesicles (EVs) as pivotal contributors to intercellular communication and disease progression, elucidating the intricacies of OC pathology. EVs, diverse membrane-derived vesicles released by most cells, carry molecular cargoes containing proteins and nucleic acids. Studies indicate that the biogenesis, packaging, and release of EVs are highly dependent and sensitive to the cellular microenvironment and depend on the in-vitro and in-vivo modelling systems. Labs use varied model systems—2D monolayers, animal models, and innovative 3D models—to investigate EVs' ovarian cancer roles. Therefore, in this study we aimed to compare the miRNA profiles associated with EVs in 3D ovarian cancer cell models, and to identify the pathophysiological relevance of the EVs isolated from these models to the patient derived EVs.In this study, two OC epithelial cell lines, SKOV-3 and OVCAR-, were initially cultured as 2D monolayers and embedded within Gelatin Methacryloyl hydrogels. Over nine days, multiple assays observed spheroid formation within the cell-laden hydrogels. EVs isolated from the cell-conditioned media were characterized per MISEV 2018 guidelines. Small RNA sequencing identified statistically significant miRNAs, subject to gene ontology and gene rank analyses. EVs from a cohort of 60 OC patients were used to identify survival-associated miRNA profiles.Our findings in the cell-laden hydrogels demonstrated OC cell growth, proliferation, and aggregation into spheroidal structures, establishing an ideal 3D model. The isolated EVs were characterized for size, concentration, morphology, and surface markers. Small RNA sequencing revealed 18 significantly different EV-associated miRNA species across 3D vs 2D models, influencing apoptosis, angiogenesis, migration, and proliferation in ovarian cancer. Notably, 3D model-derived EV-associated miRNAs mirrored patient-derived EV-associated miRNA profiles, indicating their pathophysiological relevance.This study establishes a robust 3D OC model in hydrogels, showcasing growth, proliferation, and aggregation capabilities. Differential miRNA profiles between 3D and 2D model EVs highlight the critical roles of these miRNAs in essential ovarian cancer processes. Bu çalışma, etnisiteye dayalı Türk milliyetçiliğinin önemli figürlerinden olan Nihal Atsız’ın ırkçı-Turancı fikirleri çerçevesinde kavramsallaştırdığı Türkçülük ile 1965 sonrasında Alparslan Türkeş önderliğinde CKMP (Cumhuriyetçi Köylü Millet Partisi)-MHP (Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi) çatısı altında idealize edilen ve kitleselleşmeyi arzulayan Türkçülük anlayışı arasındaki temel farklılıkları ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Irkçı fikirlerini açıktan beyan etmekte hiçbir beis görmeyen tavrıyla hem yaşadığı dönemde hem de ölümünden sonra radikal milliyetçi gruplar tarafından her zaman sempati ile karşılanan Atsız’ın fikirleri ve yazıları Türk sağının ve Türk milliyetçiliğinin en radikal örneklerini sunar. Öyle ki, Atsız’ın düşüncelerinin radikal milliyetçilerin zihniyet kodlarındaki yansımasını bugün hala MHP’nin toplumsal tabanında görmek mümkündür. Syair di kalangan bangsa Arab sangat penting keberadaannya karena dapat menggambarkan kehidupan bangsa Arab. Salah satu satu tokoh sastra yang paling terkemuka di dunia Arab yaitu Nizar Qabbani. Selain sebagai seorang penyair, dia juga seorang Diplomat Siria. Karya-karyanya banyak berbicara tentang cinta dan wanita, baik itu pada perasaan wanita, membela hak wanita serta pendidikan wanita pada waktu itu. Di dalam penelitian ini, peneliti akan menganalisis secara semiotik makna dari syair berjudul Atuhibbunī yang terdiri dari 21 bait. Syair yang diambil dari situs internet almubarak.net pada tahun 2006 berisi tentang wanita. Dalam menganalisis maknanya, peneliti akan menggunakan metode pemaknaan Riffaterre, yaitu menganalisis ketidaklangsungan ekspresi dan pembacaan secara semiotik yang terdiri dari pembacaan heuristik, retroaktif, dan hermeneutik.

Abstract Background: Cancer disparity is a major problem for the indigenous people living in the rural area of Kamrup district of Assam, a remote north eastern state of India. Often, rural people are prescribed with expensive dietary supplements during chemotherapy by urban for profit medical centers, increasing disparity, as per a study conducted by KaviKrishna Telemedicine Care (KTC) (1). We seek to reduce cancer disparity by using locally available diet/nutrition of Sualkuchi-Hajo cultural complex, including the whey protein prepared by indigenous healers practicing Vedic Jiva Upakara Cikitsha Tantra (Vejiupacita) (2,3). However, the efficacy of the indigenous Vejiupacita Whey protein is not clearly known. Here we have performed pre-clinical and clinical studies to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of Vejiupacita Chena Pani (VCP) whey protein in reducing cancer chemotherapy induced bone marrow stem cell niche toxicity. Methods: Using a previously described pre-clinical model of cisplatin and busalphan induced BM stem cell niche toxicities (4), the cytoprotective activity of VCP Whey protein was evaluated. Commercially available whey proteins Ensure plus, and Immunocal were used for comparisons. Next, the indigenous cancer patients (n=55) of KaviKrishna Telemedicine Care taking the whey protein (20 gm twice daily for three months of chemo and or radiation) were monitored for hemoglobin, total blood count as well as Glasgow prognostic score (ratio of serum albumin and CRP) and ECOG performance score. Third, using a Vejiupacita based Sahasa-ojash scale of well being (3) patient's quality of life was evaluated. Results: In the pre-clinical model of cisplatin-induced BM toxicity in black 6 mice (n=10 in each group), the VCP whey protein exerted cytoprotection of BM stem cells similar to Immunocal but 2-fold higher protection compared to Ensure plus. Serum glutathione and squalene level was significantly increased only in the VCP whey protein group. The hypoxic niche of CD271+ MSCs showed enhanced stem cell niche protection. Notably, VCP and Immunocal whey protein treatment increased the hypoxic BM stem cell niche defense against cisplatin-induced toxicity. Next, 34/55 patients taking the VCP whey protein (20 gm/twice daily for three months) showed increased hemoglobin level, increased total blood count, and increased weight gain. The Sahasa-ojash scale showed significant improvement in quality of life compared to the period when they did not take whey proteins in a manner similar to Glasgow prognostic score, and ECOG performance score. Abstract The country of Bhutan, and India’s Northeast is an economically deprived region inhabited by diverse groups of indigenous and underserved communities. They live in mostly rural areas, where cancer disparity is very high. On the other hand, they have rich traditional knowledge systems including tantra philosophies (remnant of the Vedic age philosophy), herbal medicinal practice, and spiritual practices that can be traced back to India’s Vedic age. To harness this traditional knowledge to reduce cancer disparity, we have taken an indigenous knowledge system (IKS) based approach (1) and initiated a community-based participatory research (CBPR) program in 1998 to conduct public health research in tuberculosis and cancer (2,3). Using this CBPR program, we have unraveled a Vedic age philosophy of Vedic Jiva Upkara Cikitsha Tantra (Vedic altruism-based medicinal system) (2,3). Specially, using the CBPR program we seek to identify novel herbal medicinal agents having anti-cancer activities. Methodologies: We used the CBPR methodologies of focused group discussion (FGD), debate, and community social work with various indigenous communities living in the Sualkuchi-Hajo cultural complex of Assam, Roing of Arunachal Pradesh, and Mongar of Bhutan. Since 1994, BD has conducted CBPR through the KaviKrishna Telemedicine Care. We have retrospectively analyzed the data of FGD, and suppositional reasoning (tarka) with the community healers, various Hindu, and Buddhist ethnic spiritual organizations of the region. Thematic analysis and the grounded theory method were applied to organize the data. The resulting database of herbal medicinal plants was searched in the scientific database to find the scientific names. Out of the 36 medicinal plants, we have prepared herbal extracts of 10 medicinal plants and then tested for their anti-cancer efficacy at the KaviKrishna Laboratory. Results: We have found the names of 32 plants used by the indigenous healers practicing the Vedic Jiva Upakara Cikitsha Tantra. We also found that these healers used curd-made whey protein concentrate, special soil, and fecal extracts to treat cancer (3). Our CBPR process also led to the research capacity building in the Sualkuchi-Hajo community. Conclusion: The study unraveled a unique cancer-care-related philosophy of Vedic Altruism. Our work indicates that IKS-based CBPR can equitably involve researchers and community members to develop a partnership for the process of knowledge emergence. Çalışmanın amacı tedarikçi seçim kriterlerinin nihai ürün kalitesi üzerindeki görünen ve görünmeyen etkilerini ortaya çıkarmaktır. Tedarikçi özelliklerinin nihai ürün kalitesine etkisini ortaya koyan bir model oluşturabilmek için çeşitli sektörlerde faaliyet gösteren kurumlara 52 adet ifade içeren bir anket uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen verilere açıklayıcı faktör analizi uygulanmış ve tedarikçi seçiminde en çok dikkat edilen altı adet faktör elde edilmiştir. İlgili faktörlerin nihai ürün kalitesi üzerindeki etkilerinin belirlenebilmesi için bir yapısal eşitlik modeli önerilmiştir. Uyum indeksleri incelendiğinde önerilmiş olan modelin uygun bir model olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuçlara göre tedarikçi seçim kriterlerinden tedarikçi kalitesi ve teslimat kriterleri nihai ürün kalitesine direkt olarak etki etmektedir. Bununla beraber fiyatlandırma politikası ile tedarikçinin iş birliğine yatkınlığı ve sorumluluğu kriterleri de nihai ürün kalitesine dolaylı yoldan etki etmektedir. Bu şekilde nihai ürün kalitesinin tedarikçi firmanın seçiminden itibaren etki altında kaldığını analizlerle kanıtlanmıştır. Ayrıca bu çalışma literatürde ayrı olarak ele alınan tedarikçi seçimi, nihai ürün kalitesi ve yapısal eşitlik modellemesi konularını bir araya getirmesi bakımından katkı sağlamaktadır.

Most patients who suffer from chronic noninfectious, nonallergic rhinitis (NINAR) cannot be assigned to a syndrome of known etiology. The symptomatology may well resemble that of allergic rhinitis; however, NINAR has lower prevalence of sneezing, conjunctival symptoms, and pruritus and higher prevalence of symptoms compatible with sinus disease. The triggers for the symptoms of NINAR are mainly irritants and changes in atmospheric conditions. Among individuals who develop chronic rhinitis symptoms, the percentage of nonallergic etiology increases steadily with age and is more than 60% beyond the fifth decade of life. Our strategy regarding the pathophysiology of NINAR should be to identify functional abnormalities of nasal mucosa that can potentially result in the alleged nasal symptoms. In this respect, comparison of patients with NINAR to patients with allergic rhinitis and to healthy individuals could shed light into the cause(s) of NINAR. Three potential functional abnormalities are discussed in this article: those associated with the aging process of the nasal mucosa, those resulting in various forms of nasal hyperreactivity, and those reflecting imbalanced neuronal control of end organs of the nose. The most interesting development in the therapy of NINAR is the use of capsaicin. Although placebo-controlled studies are scarce and participants have not been adequately characterized, it is possible that abnormal nociceptor nerve endings play a role in the generation of the symptoms of NINAR. Alternatively, NINAR may represent a condition of increased perceptual acuity to irritants and to environmental changes. This problem may also benefit from defunctionalization of nociceptors.

Analysis of the Tasrihiyyah Wal Makniyyah Istiarah in the Poetry of Nizar Qobbani. Nizar Qobbani is a male poet in modern times who is famous for his poems about women and love. The discussion in this thesis is a study of syi'ir Nizar qobbani with the Balaghah Science approach related to Bayan Science, Ma'ani Science, Badi Science'. As for the discussion of Istia'roh, it has the meaning of tasybih that one of its dhorof is removed, and the relationship between the meaning of haqiqi and its majazi is musyabahah. Isti'aroh is also a borrowing of lafadz, but what is desired is not the original meaning, and there is a qarinah that what is desired is not the original meaning. In this thesis, the researcher will discuss Isti'aroh in Nizar Qobbani's syi'ir, because Nizar Qobbani's syi'ir contains many balagha elements, but the dominant one is isti'aroh. Therefore, the researcher discusses Isti'aroh Tasrihiyyah and Makniyyah in syi'ir Nizar Qobbani. The purpose of this study is to describe and determine the meaning of (1) istiarah (2) poetic sentences containing rest in Nizar Qobbani's poetry, (3) and (4) the purpose of revealing the meaning contained in Nizar Qobbani's syi'ir. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. In this discussion, there are 17 Istia'rah Tasrihiyah and 4 Istia'rah Makniyah and the meanings contained in the poems containing the Tasrihiyah and Makniyah Istia'rah. This study aims to make it easier for readers to understand the implied meaning in Nizar Qobbani's poetry.
