Повний текст джерелаThis thesis examines the management of government information in a journalistic environment on Benin national television in French-speaking Africa. The main objective here is to explore the meanders that lead to the production of news broadcast on the channel, to assess its professional rigor in relation to the principles of the journalistic profession, and to analyze newscasts and consumers' perception of the products of Benin's national television.By choosing this public medium as the field of study, this work proposes a framework for analyzing newscasts, the production and reception of government information within this television. This in-depth investigation, between questionnaires, group interviews, studies the treatment and angles of treatment adopted in the face of political information of a governmental nature with regard to the code of ethics of the Beninese press and law no. 2015-07 on the information and communication code in the Republic of Benin. The results then highlight the role of Decree no. 2005-252 of May 6, 2005, approving the statutes of this television station, in articles 3 and 25, in the treatment of government information. These two articles respectively entrust this medium with: "Produce general information broadcasts and radio and television programs in line with the political, economic and socio-cultural objectives of the Beninese state", and go on to state that the CEO, while responsible for day-to-day management, is above all charged with "overseeing the implementation of government information policy, as well as the dissemination of all currents of thought, insofar as they do not undermine public order and security".Finally, this thesis examines the effects of political communication, its links and influences on journalistic information on television, from the point of view of production and reception. On the basis of the results of our research, this work recommends staff training, a revision of the texts governing the operation of Benin's national television station, and work to raise awareness among political players of the role of a national media outlet

Повний текст джерелаThe objective of this work is to rehabilitate, from the example of the local NGO, the coalitions of interests as one of the main modes of political mediation in Benin. The fertility of a socio-historic approach allowed to understand how and through which practices and which symbolism the local NGO of Benin constituted is not homogeneous social group. This first part is followed by analyses which show haw and why none of the spheres of legitimization of the non-governmental action is enough for her only to govern the complex coordinations which demand the new modes of organization of the Beninese society. Such a step allowed to clarify the constituents of the social relationships which could lead to diversify the public authorities to succeed in encircling the stakes in the decentralization of the power and the political pluralism which take shape in the socio-politic Beninese landscape. In this perspective, the organizational model in network is proposed as carrier of a scientific and empirical revival which allows to think of the structuralization of the political link within the framework of the local geopolitics of the international assistance and the role of the local NGO

Повний текст джерелаFreedom of the press is all opportunities for citizens of a country to have an opinion and expressit freely across media platforms. In Africa, new constitutions promulgated in early 1990,following popular uprisings, guarantee individual and political freedoms. But in reality, freedom of the press, which remains the main gauge of a credible democracy is far from complete. The present study intended to investigate the factors that can better guarantee the freedom of thepress in Francophone West Africa. It took three points of comparison for assessing the fourcountries, Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal and Togo. The first parameter, the legal environment, itwas found that moderns legislations in Francophone African countries is modeled on the Frenchmodel. Also, the rights and benefits granted to key journalists in France by the Act of 29 July1881 on the freedom of the press are they stated in the laws governing the press in Benin, Côted'Ivoire, Senegal and Togo. The second title is devoted to the economic realities of the press andto conclude that in all four countries, journalists working in precarious conditions that do notguarantee their independence from the information. Finally in the third part of the study showed that the relationship between the press and politicalpower are decisive in respect of the freedom of the press

Повний текст джерелаThroughout our research, we proved that the griot is the one who manages to travel back in time through speech. This allows historians to rewrite the history of the African continent remained long in orality. This oral communication carried by the griot requires a lack of objectivity but still has major importance in African society. Just as the media report the facts, the griot, thanks to his mastery of speech and through expressive elements and musical instruments published also highlights his city and thus able to participate in the democratic process in Guinea. Taking more care of political commentary, the griot marries history to produce ideology, establishing a historical continuity in conformity with this. The griot does not hesitate to include in the skin of the characters, to praise the chef's promises for which he works. Exactly as do African media also tend to praise the political actors. The humor of the griot in criticism against the policies, contributes to the democratic process. But the concept of media freedom is a goal in Africa, to help its sustainable development. We must recognize that the concept of media freedom is constitutionalized in Guinea and Benin, to a change of perspective of the culture of media will but is not completely guaranteed. In Benin, as in Guinea, the fear is still palpable among citizens who want to exercise their rights. Especially the Benin which wants a model and had the admiration of the great democracies between 1990 and 2006 is emulated across Africa has fallen from its pedestal. Despite relative long practice of liberal and pluralist democracy, concerns weigh on the evolution of politics and media in those countries. The peaceful demonstrations to denounce the abuses of power and demand respect for democratic freedoms were violently dispersed by security forces. On sensitive issues, citizens are afraid to express themselves. Even reassured, they fear reprisals from security forces
