<span lang="EN-US">An automated essay evaluation system is a machine-based approach leveraging long short-term memory (LSTM) model to award grades to essays written in English language. <a name="_Hlk108785338"></a>natural language processing (NLP) is used to extract feature representations from the essays. The LSTM network learns from the extracted features and generates parameters for testing and validation. The main objectives of the research include proposing and training an LSTM model using a dataset of manually graded essays with scores. Sentiment analysis is performed to determine the sentiment of the essay as either positive, negative or neutral. The twitter sample dataset is used to build sentiment classifier that analyzes the sentiment based on the student’s approach towards a topic. Additionally, each essay is subjected to detection of syntactical errors as well as plagiarism check to detect the novelty of the essay. The overall grade is calculated based on the quality of the essay, the number of syntactic errors, the percentage of plagiarism found and sentiment of the essay. The corrected essay is provided as feedback to the students. This essay grading model has gained an average quadratic weighted kappa (QWK) score of 0.911 with 99.4% accuracy for the sentiment analysis classifier.</span>

Supervision of Shariah compliance in the Islamic financial institutions is a DPS task This study analyzes and evaluates the compliance monitoring by taking the object of Islamic banking in Indonesia either approach or organizational systems approach. This study uses primary data in the form of interviews with 6 DPS on 6 BUS and secondary data from the report GCG 9 BUS 2011-2012. With inductive approach using content analysis and theoretical analysis, the results of this study indicate that the general practice of sharia compliance monitoring is still not optimal yet. Furthermore, this study proposes a model of supervision using a systems approach that aims to improve the supervision of such compliance. In the case of Indonesia, manufacturers from abroad have collaborated with Indonesia by buil di ng t hei r own factories so that this is expected to help economic development in the country , but this doesn’t happen in 2020. In the contrary, since the Pandemic of Covid-19, the automotive industry, one of whi ch i s four -wheeled vehicles or cars, experienced a significant decline in exports. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out and analyze how the ratio of exports of four or more wheeled vehicles from Indonesia to the main destination countries, especially in the Southeast Asia region and t o di scover and analyze the effect of the exchange rate, population and gross domestic product on the Indonesian export s of four or more wheeled vehicles to main destination countries, especially in the Southeast Asian region. The methods used in this study are descriptive analysis using export ratio and quantitative analysi s using panel data regression. The results showed that based on the ratio of exports of four or more wheeled vehicles from Indonesia to the four main destination countries in Southeast Asi a, t he l argest was t he Philippines with an average of 0.25, followed by Thailand with an average of 0.11 followed by V iet nam with an average of 0.25. an average of 0.049 and finally Malaysia, which is an average of 0.041. The regression results show that the population and exchange rate variables have a significant positive effect while GDP has no significant effect on Indonesia's exports of four or more wheeled vehicles to the four main destination countries in Southeast Asia.

Анотація:

Noise prediction on board Ro-Ro passenger ship with a capacity of 145 cars and 600 passengers has been performed by means of the hybrid Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA). A general commercial noise analysis software Designer-NOISE is used. Basic issues related to noise on board ships are described, with particular emphasis to regulatory framework. An outline of the used software is presented together with ship technical data and noise source overview. Noise model is described in details and results are presented for selected compartments both without and with sound insulation. In addition to standard noise prediction output, a sensitivity analysis of noise levels with respect to some design parameters (wall thickness, insulation type and thickness, etc.) has been performed. Finally, conclusions on noise performance of a ship are drawn.

Анотація:

This paper seeks to investigate the impact of Electronic Human Resource Management (e-HRM) practices on attaining Sustainable Competitive Advantage (SCA) in the context of the Jordanian Industrial Sector (JIS) and identify the mediating role of e-HRM Perceived Usefulness (PU) and e-HRM Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU). Furthermore, it investigates the moderating role of User Satisfaction and e-HRM Continuance Usage Intention. To achieve the paper objectives, a Mediated-Moderation Model was designed. The researchers distributed (750) questionnaires, (615) questionnaires were returned and validated for analysis in HRM and development divisions and based on a Census method with the response rate was about (82%). The ‘Structural Equation Modeling’ (SEM) methodology was used, and for analysis, SPSS and Amos were applied. The results indicated that e-HRM practices had significant influence on SCA. The paper also demonstrated that there was a significant mediate effect of TAM constructs on the relationship between e-HRM practices and SCA. Finally, the findings indicated that the user satisfaction and e-HRM continuance usage intention did not moderate the relationship between e-HRM-PEOU and PU and SCA path.

Анотація:

This community service activities aims to deepen public understanding in making financial records and reporting correctly and making the financial statements as a basis for investment analysi. The investment analysis method used is a discounted cash flow model to determine whether the investment is undervalued or overvalued. The community in this activity are students of SMK Bina Nasional Informatika, North Cikarang. The implementation phase of this activity includes a field survey, coordination with the school principal, the implementation of a financial report socialization program as a basis for stock investment analysis, and preparation of the report. The socialization activity went smoothly attended by 28 Accounting students in class XII. Socialization participants seemed enthusiastic about the material provided. This can be seen from the beginning to the end of the event, all participants followed well. Based on the results of interviews, questions and answers and direct observations, community service activities have increased the knowledge of students by as much as 80% about how to prepare good financial statements and conduct stock valuations using financial statements.

An analysis method that used a method of quantitative descriptive analysis by using secondary data obtained from the Statistic Indonesia and other institutions needed. The analysis is use location quotient analysis, shift share analysis, typologi klassen analysis, scalogram analysis, dan gravitation model analysi. The Analysis showed Kediri City emerges as a growth poles in Region Development Unit Kediri East Java with regional advantages from two aspects namely regional capability (Location Quotient analysis) and high per capita income (Tipology Klassen analysis) with hinterland area such as Kab. Abstract— At this time the spread of the Corona Covid-19 Virus was sweeping the world, Indonesia was also affected, especially in the world of education where the teaching and learning process was usually carried out face-to-face in the classroom. So as a result of this pendemi the teaching and learning process must be done online. The role of information systems technology is very meaningful in lecture learning. This study aims to analyze a model of campus learning conditions and the role of information system technology in college learning amid the COVID-19 corona virus pandemic at STMIK Sinar Nusantara Surakarta. The research method is to make observations and literature studies to obtain data and information used in research. The results of this study indicate the use of information technology has a very important role in the implementation of online distance learning in the midst of the corona covid 19 virus pandemic, among online online media such as: google classroom, whatsapp, zoom. Of the online learning media, it is proven that Google Classroom: 55.9% is widely used as media for sharing materials and assignments, while video conferences lectures are the most users of Google Meet as much as: 70.6%. The results of the analysi s of the online learning value are: 44.1%. Based on this data, it shows that the role of information system technology plays an important role and helps in the teaching and learning process amid the Covid-19 corona virus pandemic.

This paper examines the recent advances in stochastic frontier (SF) models and its implications for the performance of Norwegian crop-producing farms. In contrast to the previous studies, we used a cost function in multiple input-output frameworks to estimate both long-run (persistent) and short-run (transient) inefficiency. The empirical analysis is based on unbalanced farm-level panel data for 1991–2013 with 3 885 observations from 455 Norwegian farms specialising in crop production. We estimated seven SF panel data models grouped into four categories regarding the assumptions used to the nature of inefficiency. The estimated cost efficiency scores varied from 53–95%, showing that the results are sensitive to how the inefficiency is modeled and interpreted.

Objective Lung cancer is the most common malignancy worldwide and exhibits both high morbidity and mortality. In recent years, scientists have made substantial breakthroughs in the early diagnosis and treatment of lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), however, patient prognosis still shows vast individual differences. In this study, bioinformatics methods were used to identify and analyze ferroptosis-related genes to establish an effective signature for predicting prognosis in LUAD patients. Methods The gene expression profiles of LUAD patients with complete clinical and follow-up information were downloaded from two public databases, univariate Cox regression and multivariate Cox regression analysis were used to obtain ferroptosis-related genes for constructing the prognos tic risk model, AUC and calibration plot were used to evaluate the predictive accuracy of the FRGS and nomogram. Results A total of 74 ferroptosis-related differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identi fied between LUAD and normal tissues from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. A five-gene panel for prediction of LUAD prognosis was established by multivariate regression and was verified using the GSE68465 cohort from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database. Patients were divided into two different risk groups according to the median risk score of the five genes. Based on Kaplan-Meier (KM) analysi, the OS rate of the high-risk group was markedly worse than that of the low-risk group. We also found that risk score was an independent prognostic indicator. The receiver operating characteristic ROC curve showed that the proposed model had good prediction ability. Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) functional analyses indicated that risk score was prominently enriched in ferroptosis processes. Moreover, at the score of immune-associated gene sets, significant differences were found between the two risk groups. Conclusions This study demonstrated that ferroptosis-related gene signatures can be used as a potential predictor for the prognosis of LUAD, thus providing a novel strategy for individualized treatment in LUAD patients.

Accord-ingly, government of India launched several schemes focusing on imparting training on digitalliteracy, but research shows that a section of population is still not adopting this digitaliza-tion process. This study tries to Önd the factors responsible for excluding a section of thepeople, especially the people of rural and semi urban area from this digitalized system. Ac-cordingly, a survey was conducted with the bamboo craft man of Raipur cluster of BarpetaDistrict of Assam, India, who is involved in small enterprises involving bamboo crafting.Direct interaction was being done with the respondents regarding the various problems andinconvenience faced in adapting the new system. In this research, the authors explore the influence of the Bass model p, q parameters values on diffusion patterns and map p, q Euclidean space regions accordingly. The boundaries of four different sub-regions are classified and defined, in the region where both p, q are positive, according to the number of inflection point and peak of the non-cumulative sales curve. The researchers extend the p, q range beyond the common positive value restriction to regions where either p or q is negative. The case of negative p, which represents barriers to initial adoption, leads us to redefine the motivation for seeding, where seeding is essential to start the market rather than just for accelerating the diffusion. The case of negative q, caused by a declining motivation to adopt as the number of adopters increases, leads us to cases where the saturation of the market is at partial coverage rather than the usual full coverage at the long run. The authors develop a solution to the special case of p + q = 0, where the Bass solution cannot be used. Some differences are highlighted between the discrete time and continuous time flavors of the Bass model and the implication on the mapping. The distortion is presented, caused by the transition between continuous and discrete time forms, as a function of p, q values in the various regions

Synchronization of parallel processes of distributed information systems (DIS) has been largely determined by decisions taken at the stages of their design. Having already been in structural and functional models, when determining cause- and-effect relationships for events and actions in DIS components, it becomes necessary to coordinate them. In the proposed multilevel systemic, structural and functional synchronization model, a hierarchy of such causal relationships with interlevel mappings, inheritance and encapsulation of events and actions have been formed. The model has been also based on hierarchical extended Petri nets, which make it possible to represent various aspects of a special analysis of technical diagnostics, in particular, analysis of correctness, verification, testing, for the adopted display of the asynchronous-behavioral nature of the multilevel interaction of DIS processes. Features of the synchronization model include mapping operations for cross- level inheritance and encapsulations that synchronize events and actions, as well as end-to-end synchronized quasi-order relationships and compatibility for them. The synchronization model is also distinguished by the possibility of specializing its objects, operations and relations for the tasks of check and recognition of behavioral properties set for analysis and verification, basic in technical diagnostics, including in online and offline testing. The synchronization model has allowed one to determine the formal conditions for methods of end-to-end asynchronous coordination of events and actions of multi-level models, that represent design solutions for DIS, in particular, for technical diagnostics methods, and also to reduce the computational complexity of a special synchronization analysis due to an end-to-end decomposition approach. The dimension of the synchronization model has been estimated using the representation of Petri net graphs and special graphs of reachable states using list structures. The above estimates determine the limits of applicability of the formal synchronization model.

Анотація:

This study examines a discrete-time enzyme model with Caputo fractional order. We look into the existence and uniqueness of fixed points in the discrete dynamic model and discover parametric criteria for their local asymptotic stability. Additionally, it is demonstrated using bifurcation theory that the system experiences Period-Doubling and Neimark-Sacker bifurcation in a constrained area around the singular positive fixed point and that an invariant circle would result. It has been determined that the parameter values and the initial conditions have a significant impact on the dynamical behavior of the fractional order enzyme model. Additionally, with the use of Matlab tools, numerical analysis is offered to illustrate the theoretical debates. Therefore, numerical simulations are used to support the key theoretical findings.

An interactive computer model of a short-term (with a horizon 30–70 min) forecast of aurora intensity has been developed in the form of a web-based geoinformation system. The OVATION-Prime empirical model is used as the basic software, which establishes statistical relationships between parameters of the solar wind, the interplanetary magnetic field, and auroral particle fluxes. On the basis of this model, a system has been built which simulates the spatial planetary distribution of the probability of observing auroras and a number of accompanying quantities. Data visualization is carried out on the basis of the virtual globe technology and is provided to the end user via a specialized web service. The forecast has been verified by comparing the model predictions with the data from 16 cameras conducting continuous observations of the auroras in the visible spectrum. The proportion of coincidences between the predicted and observed auroras was 86 %. The developed service enables both forecasting and analysis of past events. The system allows us to compare the spatial distribution of probability of auroras with railway transport systems for the territory of the Russian Federation.

Анотація:

Torrefaction is a thermal conversion method extensively used for improving the properties of biomass. Usually this process is conducted within a temperature range of 200-300 °C under an inert atmosphere with residence time up to 60 minutes. This work aimed to study the kinetic of thermal degradation of oil palm frond pellet (OPFP) as solid biofuel for bioenergy production. The kinetics of OPFP during torrefaction was studied using frequently used iso-conversional model fitting (Coats-Redfern (CR)) and integral model-free (Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose (KAS)) methods in order to provide effective apparent activation energy as a function of conversion. The thermal degradation experiments were conducted at four heating rates of 5, 10, 15, and 20 °C/min in a thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) under non-oxidative atmosphere. The results revealed that thermal decomposition kinetics of OPFP during torrefaction is significantly influenced by the severity of torrefaction temperature. Via Coats-Redfern method, torrefaction degradation reaction mechanism follows that of reaction order with n = 1. The activation energy values were 239.03 kJ/mol and 109.28 kJ/mol based on KAS and CR models, respectively. Copyright © 2020 BCREC Group. All rights reserved

Abstract.The research presented in this article is aimed at developing a methodology for decomposing business processes that take place in the port, into components and finding optimal approaches to their management within the port enterprises. The aims are to carry out a schematic grouping of operations and management decisions of port operators by management areas and to analyze the role of business processes in achieving enterprises commercial goals. Different approaches to structuring business processes are consi-dered, and the methodology used in this article, based on UML (Unified Modeling Language), is chosen, as it is a powerful analytical method for creating charts from different data and information sources. Based on the analysis of port operators of Ukrainian sea trade ports, a general profile of the port operator has been deve-loped, which reflects the evolution of business processes of maritime transport enterprises from one of the simplest forms to another, which is a typical modern transport enterprise.The article is devoted to the main trends in the work of Ukrainian seaports. The importance is emphasizedensuring the manageability of such a complex system as the maritime transport enterprise, and emphasizes the importance of identifying specific business processes specific to port enterprises, and highlighting the specifics of the analysis of general business processes. Based on the analysis of opportunities for growth of exports, imports and transit, it was determined that the greatest potential for further development of port operators is to expand the cargo base and attract transit cargo, so the emphasis is on building relevant business processes. The main reasons for restructuring or transformation of the business model of the enterprise are identified. The main sectors of restructuring of the port operator's business model have been identified.Keywords: port, port operator, business process, cargo turnover, transit.

A model to measure the employee engagement was developed by researching historical employee engagement models. These models, consisting of employee engagement constructs and their measuring criteria, have been empirically validated and factorized into seven employee engagement factors. The seven employee engagement factors (of which factor one consists of two sub-factors) were subjected to confirmatory factor analysis to ensure the inclusion of the factors in the validated model to measure employee engagement. The model was also tested for goodness of fit, and the model shows good fit indices with the Comparative Fit Index (0.799), while the good model fit of the secondary fit indices RMSEA (0.078 within a narrow margin of 0.004) and Hoelter (113 at p &lt;= 0.1; 111 at p &lt;= 0.05) also show satisfactory model fit. Management can use the model as diagnostic tool to measure employee engagement and to apply it in managerial decision-making. On the other hand, academics could apply the model to extend their research in employee engagement
