Information about the history of discovery, development and study of the gold ore deposit «Zolotaya Gora» in Priamur gold-bearing province is present. The deposit is represented by six gold-sulfide-quartz veins located in the zone of crumpling and diaphthoresis along the gneisses and crystalline schists of the Archean. Ore bodies intersect with diorite porphirites of the Mesosoic age. The deposit had the richest gold-sulfide-quartz ores in the Amur region with an average gold grade of about 120-140 g/t. The isotopic age of mineralization, determined by Rb-Sr method, is 155±7 million years.

The study area is located in the sourthen part of Albania. The paper presents the geological – geophysical interpretation of the Selenica - Amantia area. It represents the central part of the Jonian Unit, from the tectonic point of view. This area is characterized by an intensive tectonic activity and by presence of some source rocks in Mesosoic carbonate section. It represents one of the most perspective zone and exploration opportunities. In the paper is treated meanly seismic velosity model as a very important tool for interpretation of geological framework of the area. During the work we had present many geological data as deep wells, surface geology, seismic and gravimetry data. Reprocessing of the seismic lines with updata programs helped us to improve interpretation and identifiding the most important prospects.

There are three unique Old Believer manuscript books written on canvas. It is established that all of them were written around the 1820s by Maxim, an adherent of the sect of the beglopopovtsy (“runaway priests”). Two books are anonymous; the third, a prayer book of the “kanonnik” type, contains a colophon in the beginning of which Maxim almost verbatim cited syllabic verses with a mesostic from the Menologium ( Cheti Minei) of Dimitry of Rostov, a renowned critic of Old Believers. Maxim added his own name to the citation. Certain features of the ornament in the canvas codices suggest that Maxim was acquainted with both the Synodal and the Ukrainian-Belarusian book tradition. The citation from Dimitry of Rostov proves this supposition. Maxim’s colophon represents new evidence of Dmitry of Rostov’s literary influence on Old Believers, which has yet received little attention.

We study the troposphere dynamics, temperature regime in the stratosphere, upper atmosphere emission, and seismic activity in the Baikal Rift Zone for winters 2011/2012 and 2012/2013. Variations of the lithospheric, tropospheric, stratospheric and mesosphe- ric characteristics occurred either simultaneously or with a time lag during these periods. We found that the wind speed in the lower atmosphere reached a maximum several days before the seismic activity increase in the region. Then, it de-creased to a minimum at the earthquake instant. The periods of this seismic activity growth coincided with episodes of stratospheric warm-ings and with an increase in the 557.7 nm atmospheric emission in the meso-sphere and the low thermosphere (85–115 km). A pos-sible reason for the correlations may be the increased atmospheric effects on mountains, the formation of vertical flows above mountains, and generation of planetary and gravity waves.

Abstract Soil moisture data from the Oklahoma Mesonet are widely used in research efforts spanning many disciplines within Earth sciences. These soil moisture estimates are derived by translating measurements of matric potential into volumetric water content through site- and depth-specific water retention curves. The objective of this research was to increase the accuracy of the Oklahoma Mesonet soil moisture data through improved estimates of the water retention curve parameters. A comprehensive field sampling and laboratory measurement effort was conducted that resulted in new measurements of the percent of sand, silt, and clay; bulk density; and volumetric water content at −33 and −1500 kPa. These inputs were provided to the Rosetta pedotransfer function, and parameters for the water retention curve and hydraulic conductivity functions were obtained. The resulting soil property database, MesoSoil, includes 13 soil physical properties for 545 individual soil layers across 117 Oklahoma Mesonet sites. The root-mean-square difference (RMSD) between the resulting soil moisture estimates and those obtained by direct sampling was reduced from 0.078 to 0.053 cm3 cm−3 by use of the new water retention curve parameters, a 32% improvement. A >0.15 cm3 cm−3 high bias on the dry end was also largely eliminated by using the new parameters. Reanalysis of prior studies that used Oklahoma Mesonet soil moisture data may be warranted given these improvements. No other large-scale soil moisture monitoring network has a comparable published soil property database or has undergone such comprehensive in situ validation.

Rectal cancer is a common gastric testicular malignancy, and surgical resection is the most effective treatment. The depth of local tumour filtration, lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis are all factors that influence the prognosis of rectal cancer surgery. MRI has the advantages of high-resolution, multidirectional, multi-angle, multiparameter imaging and zero radiation in soft tissue, so you can estimate the depth of tumour filtration and lymph node metastasis more accurately than ultrasound or CT. Today, it is a standard method for pre-operative imaging of rectal cancer. In this study, patients with rectal cancer have been studied from May 2020 to May 2021. 75 Patients were scanned at an arrow-shaped position and cross-sectional images, which are strictly vertical to the rectal wall, were designed after improvement at tumour level. The position of the coronal image is strictly vertical to the horizontal position. In this way, partial volume effects can be avoided and the depth of tumour filtration accurately evaluated. This helps surgeons determine the horizontal position of the tumor based on MRI images. To avoid the volume effect, the cross-section line must be vertical to the tumour axis. This study shows that in T3 tumours it is particularly important to measure the minimum level between the tumour and the rectal mesioma phase. The histology of the resected samples showed that if the distance between the tumor and the rectal mestrincular fascia exceeds 1 mm, the frequency of local recurrence is greatly reduced. If the distance between the tumor and the rectal mesiole fascia is less than 1 mm, the risk of local recurrence is greatly increased. Therefore, tumours with a straight mesosis of 1 mm or less margin-positive are called.

AbstractCurrently, the systematics of the African noctuid stem borers of the subtribe Sesamiina, which include major pests of cereals, is confused. In addition, their ecology is poorly known, as are the factors influencing their evolution. In this paper, we address these shortcomings for two genera of the Sesamiina, Sciomesa Tams & Bowden and Carelis Bowden. Mixed Bayesian phylogenetic analysis, which included their host plants and two mitochondrial genes, showed the genus Sciomesa to be polyphyletic. Two new genera were created, Pirateolea and Feraxinia. The genus Carelis proved to be paraphyletic and was subdivided into two sub-genera. The genera Sciomesa, Carelis and Pirateolea (named the ‘Sciomesa genus group’) share morphological traits, and the phylogenetic analysis showed that they had a common ancestor living on Cyperaceae and that they were distant from the genus Feraxinia belonging to another clade which had an ancestor living on Poaceae. Seven new species were described: Sciomesa gnosia sp. n., Sciomesia bua sp. n., Pirateolea nola gen. n, sp. n., Feraxinia serena gen. n., sp. n., Carelis australis sp. n., Carelis transversa sp. n. and Carelis agnae sp. n. Ten species were sunk as synonyms: Sciomesa mesoscia (Hampson) syn. n., Sciomesa mirifica Laporte syn. n., Sciomesa constantini Laporte syn. n. and Sciomesa etchecopari Laporte syn. n. are synonyms of Sciomesa mesophaea (Aurivillius); Acrapex sparsipucta Laporte syn. n. is a synonym of Sciomesa excelsa (Laporte) comb. n.; Acrapex congitae Laporte syn. n., Sesamia minuta Laporte syn. n. and Sesamia minuscula Laporte syn. n. are synonyms of Sciomesa boulardi (Laporte) comb. n.; Acrapex bryae Laporte syn. n. and Acrapex fayei Laporte syn. n. are synonyms of Feraxinia jemjemensis (Laporte) comb. n. Measles disease is usually diagnosed through an RT-PCR test, which detects the measles-specific IgM antibody in serum samples. However, this approach is highly expensive and requires a lot of sample preprocessing making it a laborious task. Another approach for measles identification could be a cytological smear test – which is a low-cost, quick, and accurate method for the early detection of measles disease. Due to the lack of experience in interpreting smears, its usage in clinical practice is currently limited. We have designed a MesoSpot, an automatic segmentation method for the first time that can precisely define the region of giant cells in nasal aspirate cytological smears and assist medical experts in the speedy diagnosis of measles disease. MesoSpot was developed by training 500 cytological smear images collected from various web sources. We have used 50 cytological smear images to validate the model and evaluated its performance using various metrics. The main purpose of the proposed study is to detect multinucleated giant cells and estimate their size and number, which aids in assessing the disease's severity. To annotate the giant cells in each cytological smear, we have applied a semantic segmentation approach using APEER software. UNET architecture was used to train the model, and image processing techniques were used to spot giant cells and predict their size. Various performance metrics were employed to assess the model's efficiency. The model's output was also compared to the ground truth image and statistically confirmed.

The study area between subdistrict Güzelyurt, 11 km southeast of the city Kahramanmaraş and the Abbaslar village. Mesosoic and Senosoic age units are obsorved in the field the oldest units are tectonites, the parts of the ophiolitics series which moved into the field by mounting in the Upper Kretase. Serpantinites which are formed by the alteration of partically or completely serpantinized and harzburgite and peridotites, form the tectonites. Tectonically bordered Paleosen-Eosen limestones have came into ophiolitic series. The youngest units in the area are plateau basalts which are the results of Cretase-aged volcanism. Besides, they have proved to the different from the basalts of the ophiolitic series because they have been spilitised as regarded with the appereans in the area and they don’t show cushion flow. These rocks, defined as olivined basalt after the microscopic studies. Peridotites in the ophiolite series in the study area are noteworthy because they contain chromite. The chromites in the region take place in the peridotites as scattered grains and small pockets. Detailed studies are needed to reveal the economic values of chromites in a healthy way. Especially west of Denizli village and north of Tevekkeli village can be suggested as places where work should be intensified. However, limestones and basalts in the formations cropping out in the study area are used as building blocks in small and large settlements in the region.

V članku poročamo o morfoloških raziskavah na puhlični planoti Tési in z bazaltom prekritim kraškim območjem v okolici gore Kab na južnem delu gorovja Bakony. Skoraj 600 m visoka gora Kab, prekrita z bazaltom, izstopa iz hribovitega predela južnega dela gorovja Bakony. Površina gore, ki meri kakih 35-40 km², je prekrita z različno debelim bazaltom. Na bazaltnem površju so razvite psevdokraške oblike (depresije), ki so posledica zakrasevanja apnenca pod bazaltom. Z združevanjem glede na morfologijo in hitrost razvoja ter študijem korelacije genetskih značilnosti nastalih združb, smo izluščili nove kraške procese, kjer smo lahko depresije različnih oblik intepretirali kot različne stopnje iste razvojne poti. Mezozojske kamnine planote Tési le redko pogledajo na površje izpod pokrova puhlice. Blizu vrhov so nastajale udorne in ponorne vrtače z zelo omejenim območjem napajanja. Raziskave procesov, oblik in pojavnosti pokritega krasa gore Bakony so pokazale, da je nastanek recentnih jaškov povezan s skritimi litološkimi mejami. We have conducted our morphological researches on the loess-covered Tési plateau and on the basalt covered karst area around Mt. Kab in the southern part of the Bakony Mts. The nearly 600 m high basalt covered Mt. Kab emerges high from the undulating mountains and hilly areas of the Southern Bakony Mts. Its surface, an area about 35-40 km² is covered by basaltic rocks of different thickness. Pseudokarstic landforms (depressions) developed on the basalt surface due to the karstic corrosion of the buried limestone layers. Grouping the objects of different morphology and evolution rate, and studying in corellation the genetic marks of the significantgroups,a special karst process can be drawn, in which the depressions of various form can be understood as different stations of the same evolutionary series. The Mesosoic rocks building up the 60 km² Tési plateau emerge to the surface rarely above the loess cover. There is agricultural activity on most part of the plateau. Typical covered karstic landforms developed on the 3-5 m thick loess cover. Subsidence dolines or alluvial streamsink dolines with a small catchment area were formed on the summits. We studied the processes, forms and occurrence of recent covered karst of Mt. Bakony, and these studies shows that on the covered karst surface of the Tési-plateau the recent pit formation along with baticapture connected to hidden and real rock boundary, as well as the opening and activation of paleokarstic passages developed before loess formation also play a role in the evolution of the covered karst surface forms of the Tési-plateau.
