Анотація:
The credibility of cloud service is the key to the success of the application of cloud services. The dual servers of master server and backup server are applied to cloud services, which can improve the availability of cloud services. In the past, the failures between master server and backup server could be detected by heartbeat algorithm. Because of lacking cloud user's evaluation, the authors put forward a credible cloud service model based on behavior Graphs and tripartite decision-making mechanism. By the quantitative of cloud users' behaviors evidences, the construction of behavior Graphs and the judgment of behavior, they select the most credible cloud user. They combine the master server, the backup server and the selected credible cloud user to determine the credibility of cloud service by the tripartite decision-making mechanism. Finally, according to the result of credible judgment, the authors could decide whether it will be switched from the master server to the backup server.

The network storage systems are generally composed of clients, storage servers and metadata servers. In this paper, we proposed a novel storage virtualization (NSV) scheme which is capable of alleviating the heavy load of metadata server, guaranteeing the storage quality of service and dynamically adapting storage resources. The metadata server automatically constructs a dedicated storage cluster according to various requirements of storage quality of service. The storage cluster may consist of one to many storage servers which includes one master storage server and zero to many slave storage servers. In other words, a network storage system consists of at least one storage cluster. The requests of each client are forwarded to corresponding master storage server within a specific storage cluster. In addition, the master storage server determines the best storage server which handles the requests based on the conditions of storage servers. Next, the requests will be redirected to the selected storage server. Finally, the responses are directly transmitted to the client.

<em>At present, the development of cloud computing technology is experiencing rapid development. Also in line with the increase in the need and use of cloud computing technology itself. This rapid and high increase can cause an increase in load for the existing server so that it can result in overload on the connection path traffic. To avoid and optimize management on the server, it is necessary to share network load using various solutions available in the load balancing method. One solution is to use HAProxy software. HAProxy bridges at least 2 servers to apply load balancing and use the Round Robin scheduling algorithm. In the database management of two servers, replication Master to Master can be used by using MySQL as an existing database management media. From the results of tests conducted in this study, the HAProxy server is considered capable of handling problems compared to a single server. A replication that was tested was also considered to be a solution to bridge changes in existing data on the HAProxy server.</em>

Hambatan dan gangguan tersebut tersebut bisa diakibatkan dari berbagai macam hal, seperti maintenance, kerusakan database, kerusakan media, data corruption dan bencana yang tak terduga (bencana alam). Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu Teknik replikasi yang baik untuk menjaga keutuhan data. Teknik replikasi Multi Master (Master-Master) telah diimplementasikan pada penelitian ini. Kondisi New Normal di Indonesia menyebabkan metode pembelajaran berubah dari secara konvensional menjadi digital. Walaupun efektif untuk mengatasi terhentinya pembelajaran, namun demikian belum tersedia fasilitas untuk pelaksanaan praktek oleh siswa secara jarak jauh. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini maka diperlukan suatu metode agar siswa di remote area tetap dapat melakukan praktek dengan cara mengakses peralatan di laboratorium UPDL Semarang. Berdasarkan penelusuran di dunia praktis ditemukan adanya metode Virtual Network Computing yang memungkinkan client di remote area dapat mengakses secara jarak jauh dengan berbagai karakteristiknya. Bahkan pada operating system Solaris 10, yang merupakan operating system server SCADA, memiliki kemampuan untuk akses secara multichannel hingga 15 channel pada satu server. Dari hasil percobaan yang dilakukan, akses client dari remote area terhadap 15 channel VNC secara bersamaan berjalan dengan baik, dibuktikan dengan tampilan GUI SCADA yang tetap normal, semua client dapat bekerja pada server SCADA tanpa ada interupsi antara satu client dengan client yang lain, dan tidak terjadinya penurunan kinerja server SCADA secara signifikan. Dengan demikian metode praktek jarak jauh menggunakan multichannel VNC ini dapat diterapkan sebagai solusi pembelajaran praktek operasi dan pemeliharaan master station SCADA di UPDL Semarang, dan dapat dikembangkan secara korporat di PT PLN (Persero).

Анотація:
The power theft is one of the main problems facing the electric energy sector in Iraq, where a large amount of electrical energy is lost due to theft. It is required to design a system capable of detecting and locating energy theft without any human interaction. This paper presents an effective solution with low cost to solve power theft issue in distribution lines. Master meter is designed to measures the power of all meters of the homes connected to it. All the measured values are transmitted to the server via GPRS. The values of power for all energy meters within the grid are also transmitted. The comparison between the power of the master meter and all the other meters are transmitted to the server. If there is a difference between the energy meters, then a theft is happened and the server will send a signal via GSM to the overrun meter to switch off the power supply. Raspberry pi is used as a server and equipped and programmed to detect the power theft.

Ketika server mengalami overload, hal ini akan membuat server melambat, efeknya adalah waktu akses layanan bertambah yang akan membuat client tidak nyaman dalam menggunakan layanan yang ada pada server. Cluster server menawarkan solusi agar beban terbagi secara merata, sistem ini memanfaatkan beberapa komputer yang di konfigurasi sedemikian rupa agar dapat berkerja bersama-sama. Hasil dari pengujian cluster server menunjukan peningkatan waktu respon http request sebesar 59% lebih cepat dibandingkan tanpa menggunakan sistem cluster server. Keuntungan lain menggunakan cluster server adalah adanya redudancy, jadi ketika salah satu anggota node tidak aktif maka secara otomatis master node atau load balancer akan memindahkan request menuju node yang masih aktif.

ABSTRAKServer yang terdapat di Sekolah Vokasi Institut Pertanian Bogor (SV-IPB) diinstal Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment (MOODLE) yang merupakan aplikasi e-learning berbasis web. MOODLE membutuhkan database yang berfungsi sebagai sebuah sistem penyimpanan data dari berbagai aktivitas yang dilakukan. Database server yang tersedia di SV-IPB berupa single database server. SV-IPB memiliki 17 program studi, jumlah mahasiswa Sekolah Vokasi untuk tiga angkatan sekitar 6 300 mahasiswa, hal tersebut bisa menyebabkan pengaksesan layanan MOODLE dan beban yang ditanggung server menjadi tinggi. Mengatasi masalah tersebut salah satu solusinya diimplementasikan teknologi database cluster pada server SV-IPB serta membuat sebuah server load balancing. Pembuatan database cluster menggunakan aplikasi Galera Cluster, serta digunakan HAProxy sebagai load balancer yang berperan sebagai pembagi beban antar database server dalam database cluster. Ketika database server down maka ada database server lain yang dapat menggantikan tugas dari database server yang down tersebut.Kata Kunci : Database Cluster, Galera Cluster, HAProxy, Multi-master, MySQL ABSTRACTThe server in the Vocational School, Bogor Agricultural University (SV-IPB) is installed with Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment (MOODLE) which is a web-based e-learning application. MOODLE requires a database that functions as a data storage system for various activities carried out. The database server available at SV-IPB is a single database server. SV-IPB has 17 study programs, the number of Vocational School students for three batches is around 6 300 students, this can cause access to MOODLE services and the burden on the server to be high. One of the solutions to overcome this problem is to implement database cluster technology on the SV-IPB server and create a load balancing server. Creating a cluster database using the Galera Cluster application, and using HAProxy as a load balancer that acts as a load divider between database servers in the database cluster. Teknologi virtualisasi dapat meningkatkan kemampuan layanan menjadi dua mesin server atau lebih secara virtual. Sistem failover dan failback merupakan teknik high availability dalam mengatasi terjadinya kegagalan layanan pada master server. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan service high availability dengan sistem failover dan failback pada dua arsitektur server yang berbeda yaitu native server dan virtual server menggunakan sistem virtualisasi Proxmox VE. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan tahapan analisa permasalahan dan kebutuhan sistem, disain arsitektur dan implementasi, pengujian dengan pengukuran kemampuan sistem, dan analisa hasil. Berdasarkan proses pengujian, high availability pada sistem virtual server memiliki tingkat kinerja lebih rendah rata-rata 4.15% dengan sistem native server. Kesimpulannya sistem virtualisasi memiliki keunggulan karena dapat memberikan dua layanan server virtual yang berbeda pada satu mesin native server sehingga lebih efisien dari sisi anggaran dan lebih efektif dalam pengelolaan sistem administrasi server.

In recent years, cluster technology is used more wildly. In this paper, we present a new method to implement a streaming media cluster server. The server is constructed on a high performance cluster which consists of one control node, one storage node and 8 computing nodes. We wrote a parallel program with MPI which run on the cluster. The organization of MPI program is a master-slave scheme. The master interacted with users and scheduled task within slaves. Slaves called streaming media server which sent data directly to user. This can improve the system performance significantly. We can also guarantee the transparence of the service by single access point named IP Tunneling. The system was implemented under Linux platform and tested through simulation testing method. From the testing results, it can be confirmed that the whole system is well designed which achieves high performance, good robustness and high scalability.

Recently, a reagent cabinet is used in a laboratory or a laboratory is required to have a system capable of identifying a dangerous situation through sensor data as various sensors are utilized. The existing system identifies the dangerous situation through various sensor data, but there is a problem that the server performs all the operations and the operation of the device is performed manually. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a system that can identify the dangerous situation and automatically operate the equipment through the internal environment data of the reagent cabinet. Identification of the hazardous situation is done through the master node used in the reagent cabinet, not the server. The server can continuously update the sensor data through the master node and monitor the real-time status of the reagent cabinet through the application. In this way, it is expected that the risk situation will be promptly addressed by identifying the dangerous situation in the reagent cabinet and operating the device.

This paper first designed the overall scheme of a wireless-based intelligent environment monitoring system; this system is comprised of the following four parts: server part, client part, slave computer part, and master computer part. The master computer is equipped with a wireless transmission module and an LCD module. Slave computers are equipped with temperature-humidity sensing modules and wireless transmission modules. The server side has two major interfaces: data display and server establishment. An Android phone as the client can realize the communication between the mobile APP and server through network communication to obtain environmental data in real time. The hardware part of the system consists of wireless transmission module, temperature and humidity module, smoke module, lighting module, flame module, and LCD module. The software implementation part mainly includes the design and implementation of serial communication, the design and implementation of wireless communication, the design and implementation of collection of data acquisition in each sensor module, and the design and implementation of network communication as well as the design and implementation of display unit. With the cooperation of these four parts, we can automatically sense and control the state of the environment to realize human-computer interaction.

Pengiriman master data outlet merupakan peranan yang sangat penting bagi kelancaran jalannya suatu sistem penjualan yang berada di PT Pinus Merah Abadi, pengiriman master data yang masih mengandalkan sistem e-mail yang seringkali e-mail tersebut jarang terkirim dikarnakan adanya down sever e-mail yang sering terjadi akibat jaringan yang tidak stabil sehingga mengakibatkan terhambatnya pengirima master data outlet dari kantor pusat ket kantor cabang. Maka dari itu untuk mengatasi hal tersebut diperlukan adanya sistem master data berbasis web yang mempermudahkan master data outlet didapatkan tanpa harus menunggu adanya e-mail masuk dan khawatir akan adanya down server email dengan begitu master data outlet dapat di ambil langsung melalui website yang telah dibuat. Then, variant design process of part family is elaborated, including searching similar parts and the similarity retrieval mechanism which are studied for the product variant design of part family. With the development of information technology, humans make it easy to complete every duty. Build a design application virtualization master slave database servers that are connected with the management node using the virtual application to get the test results replication system performance and redundancy in the design of the cluster system. Methodology of this research include the study of literature, collecting data by interview, observation, literature studies, system design, and testing of the system. In a literature study on the use of research methods to study the literature books, records that can be used as a support in the research. The design of this thesis using MySQL Cluster system with Ndbcluster engine. Last is testing this system on its performance on the server failure or failures occur and reliability in performance. The results obtained are when there is a failure on the primary server, it will be immediately replaced by another server is a slave. And the replication of data between the main server and slave.

Penggunaan energi saat ini sedang menjadi sorotan pemerintah Indonesia. Salah satu kendalanya adalah penggunaan Penerangan Jalan Umum (PJU). Dengan membuat setiap penerangan jalan umum dapat berkomunikasi, pemerintah dapat memantau setiap penggunaan daya pada penerangan dengan menggunakan algoritma Leach, yang berfokus pada efisiensi daya dalam jaringan untuk menghemat penggunaan daya. Dalam algoritma Leach yang diusulkan, node akan mengirim data ke server melalui kepala cluster yang dipilih. Kemudian kepala cluster akan meneruskan data tersebut ke node master yang secara otomatis terhubung ke server. Dengan mengambil pendekatan seperti itu, penggunaan daya di setiap node akan efisien. Performa yang diperoleh dapat mencapai efisiensi 42% pada proses pengujian dibandingkan tanpa menggunakan algoritma Leach.

Penyimpanan susu segar membutuhkan pengaturan dan pemantauan suhu yang optimal agar kualitas susu segar dapat dipertahankan. Kondisi saat ini cold storage hanya bisa menampilkan temperature susu saat ini, tetapi data histori temperature dan keasaman susu tidak terekam dengan baik. Informasi distribusi susu segar dari petani susu ke KUD penyimpanan susu kemudian ke Industri Pengolah Susu (IPS) butuh yang lama. Penelitian ini mengusulkan Perangkat IoT Master dan Slave yang dapat digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan penyimpanan, pemantauan dan pengendalian persedian susu segar. IoT Node terdiri dari sensor suhu ruang, suhu susu, Ph meter, dan ultrasonic. Data dari sensor akan diproseses oleh IoT Node untuk kemudian dikirim ke IoT Master Controller. IoT Master Controller akan mengirimkan data ke server cloud. Berdasarkan data tersebut maka kondisi susu dalam cold storage dapat dipantau kualitas dan ketersediaannya.

Currently, the Internet of Things (IoT) has gained attention for its capability for real-time monitoring. The advancement in sensor and wireless communication technology has led to the widespread adoption of IoT technology in distinct applications. The cloud server, in conjunction with the IoT, enables the visualization and analysis of real-time sensor data. The literature concludes that there is a lack of remote stress-monitoring devices available to assist doctors in observing the real-time stress status of patients in the hospital and in rehabilitation centers. To overcome this problem, we have proposed the use of the IoT and cloud-enabled stress devices to detect stress in a real-time environment. The IoT-enabled stress device establishes piconet communication with the master node to allow visualization of the sensory data on the cloud server. The threshold value (volt) for real-time stress detection by the stress device is identified by experimental analysis using MATLAB based on the results obtained from the performance of three different physical-stress generating tasks. In addition, the stress device is interfaced with the cloud server, and the sensor data are recorded on the cloud server. The sensor data logged into the cloud server can be utilized for future analysis.

Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah perusahaan dan staff A.P (Account Payable) yang bekerja di dalamnya untuk dapat memonitoring pembayaran hutang kepada supplier. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode analisa SWOT, perancangan sistem dengan menggunakan UML (Unified Modelling Language) untuk menggambarkan secara visualisasi. Untuk bahasa pemrograman yang dipakai adalah PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor), database server dengan MySQL, sublime text 2, framework Codeigniter dan web server dengan XAMPP. Dengan sudah adanya sistem informasi pembayaran hutang ini akan memudahkan para staf divisi Purchasing dan Accounting untuk melihat dan memantau alur pembayaran utang dalam perusahaan dan juga memudahkan dalam membuat laporan hutang dagang pembelian serta juga menghasilkan laporan yang cepat dan akurat.

Puskesmas sebagai unit kesehatan tingkat pertama memiliki tugas pokok yaitu pengobatan, perawatan kesehatan, kesehatan lingkungan, membina kesehatan ibu dan anak, pencegahan penyakit menular, pencatatan dan pelaporan. Dari keseluruhan tugas tampaknya tidak seluruhnya digarap oleh puskesmas terutama pencatatan dan pelaporan untuk pencegahan penyakit menular serta pola penyebarannya. untuk mengawasi dan mengendalikan perencananan program kesehatan termasuk penekanan penyebaran penyakit menular, puskesmas belum memiliki alat bantu yang terintegrasi satu atap secara real time dengan dinas kesehatan, untuk itu dibutuhkan sistem informasi geografis (SIG) untuk memvisualisasikan data penyakit menular, hal ini juga perlu ditunjang perangkat yang optimal dengan biaya yang murah dengan menggunakan raspberry pi sebagai kendali otomasi server data dalam replikasi. Proses memanfaatkan replikasi database dua arah menggunakan dua server dengan server satu sebagai master sedangkan server lainnya berfungsi sebagai slave. Hasil pengujian replikasi pada transaction rate untuk meminimalkan antrian data node 1 pada nilai 1,99/detik setiap transaksi data, node 2 nilai 2,02/detik, sedangkan balancer dengan nilai 1,91/detik, sedangkan response time atau kecepatan replikasi database dalam menangkap dan mengirimkan data sangat efektif, pada node 1 0,33/s untuk kecepatan proses, node 2 dengan waktu 0,01/s, dan balancer 0,13/s. Kata kunci: puskesmas, replikasi database dua arah, penyakit menular, dinas kesehatan, sistem informasi geografis (SIG).

Currently the massive power quality monitoring data are stored in the centralized database of the monitoring master station, the problems such as large storage space; low query retrieval speed; low reliability and poor scalability will be caused. This paper proposes a data management scheme for massive power quality monitoring data based on the distributed database system. The monitoring data of different power quality indexes are stored in the distributed servers of the existing monitoring sub-stations; the server of monitoring master station is used for storing data characteristics value and data indexes, it is also used for unified management of distributed database system. The scheme takes full advantage of each servers storage space and network bandwidth, and saves the storage space and improves the access efficiency.

Concerning the security issues in the running elevator and the fact that elevator monitoring is an effective means to ensure the safe running of the elevator, and the special equipment, users, manufacturers, and government supervision departments will need to master the operating conditions of the elevator. Therefore, combining with the main components, embedded microprocessor, RF communications modules, sensors and GPRS designed the remote elevator monitoring terminal, and complete real-time acquisition of the state data of the running elevator via GPRS communication module to send data to a remote network server. Monitoring terminal cooperates with the web server, database, and host computer software, then realize the remote monitoring and control of the elevator group. Practice has proved the feasibility, effectiveness and reliability of the design of the monitoring terminal.

<span>In the developed system ARM9 is a master and Two ARM7s are slaves. The peripherals are being controlled by two ARM7 boards. The Peripherals are connected to the ARM7 through Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD). The CPLD is in turn connected to the ARM7 using Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). The ARM7 boards collect the information from the peripherals and send it to the ARM9 board. The communication between ARM7 and ARM9 is via UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter) over CAN (Controller Area Network). The ARM9 board has got the software intelligence. The ARM9 behaves as a master and two ARM7 boards behave as slaves. Being master ARM9 passes tokens to ARM7 which in turn returns (Acknowledges) the token. The ARM9 is further connected to Proxy via Ethernet. The proxy is further connected to the service platform (server) via Ethernet. So subsequently any decisions at any stage can be changed at server level. Further these commands can be passed on to ARM9 which in turn controls the peripherals through ARM7. (a) The system which we have developed consists of ARM9 as a master, Two ARM7 as Slaves. The communication between ARM9-ARM7 is via UART over a CAN, <br /> (b) Each ARM7 further communicates serially (RS232) with the two 8051 Microcontroller nodes, (c)Thus a networked Embedded System is developed wherein the serial data is brought over Ethernet. The ARM7 board, which is directly linked with the peripherals, can be modified of its functionality as and when required. The functionality of ARM7 can be modified by upgrading its firmware. To upgrade the firmware same communication link has been used. ARM7 receives the new firmware via same ARM9-ARM7 communication link. The Flash Write operation is performed using the source code to write the new firmware. Bootloader application for the ARM7 has been developed. The signature has been incorporated to assure authenticity of the new Firmware. Intel Hex File Format is used to parse the hex file.</span>

This paper is aimed at designing efficient parallel matrix-product algorithms for homogeneous master-worker platforms. While matrix-product is well-understood for homogeneous 2D-arrays of processors, there are two key hypotheses that render our work original and innovative: — Centralized data. We assume that all matrix files originate from, and must be returned to, the master. The master distributes both data and computations to the workers. Typically, our approach is useful in the context of speeding up MATLAB or SCILAB clients running on a server (which acts as the master and initial repository of files). — Limited memory. Because we investigate the parallelization of large problems, we cannot assume that full matrix panels can be stored in the worker memories and re-used for subsequent updates. The amount of memory available in each worker is expressed as a given number of buffers, where a buffer can store a square block of matrix elements. These square blocks are chosen so as to harness the power of Level 3 BLAS routines; they are of size 80 or 100 on most platforms. We have devised efficient algorithms for resource selection (deciding which workers to enroll) and communication ordering (both for input and result messages), and we report a set of MPI experiments conducted on a platform at the University of Tennessee.

Manufacturing industries nowadays need to reconfigure their production lines promptly as to acclimate to rapid changing markets. Meanwhile, exercising system reconfigurations also needs to manage innumerous types of manufacturing apparatus involved. Nevertheless, traditional incompatible manufacturing systems delivered by exclusive vendors usually increase manufacture costs and prolong development time. This paper presents a novel RMS framework, which is intended to implement a Redis master/slave server mechanism to integrate various CNC manufacturing apparatus, hardware control means, and data exchange protocols through developed configurating codes. In the RMS framework each manufacturing apparatus or accessory stands for an object, and information of recognized CNC control panel image features, associated apparatus tuned parameters, communication formats, operation procedures, and control APIs, are stored into the Redis master cloud server database. Through implementation of machine vision techniques to acquire CNC controller panel images, the system effectively identifies instantaneous CNC machining states and response messages once the embedded image features are recognized. Upon demanding system reconfigurations for the manufacturing resources, the system issues commands from Redis local client servers to retrieve the stored information in the Redis master cloud servers, in which the resources for registered CNC machines, robots, and built-in accessories are maintained securely. The system then exploits the collected information locally to reconfigure involved manufacturing resources and starts manufacturing immediately, and thus is capable to promptly response to fast revised orders in a comitative market. In a prototyped RMS architecture, the proposed approach takes advantage of recognized feedback visual information, which is obtained using an invariant image feature extraction algorithm, and effectively commands an industrial robot to accomplish demanded actions on a CNC control panel, as a regular operator does daily in front of the CNC machine for manufacturing.

CERN is using an increasing number of DNS based load balanced aliases (currently over 700). This article explains the Go based concurrent implementation of the Load Balancing Service, both the client (lbclient) and the server (lbd). The article describes how it is being progressively deployed using Puppet and how concurrency greatly improves scalability, ultimately allowing a single master-slave couple of Openstack virtual machines to server all the aliases. It explains the new implementation of the lbclient, which, among other things, allows to incorporate Collectd metrics to determine the status of the node and takes advantage of the Go language concurrency features to reduce the real time needed for checking the status of the node. The article explains that the LBD server acts as an arbiter getting feedback on load and health from the backend nodes using snmp (Simple Network Management Protocol) to decide which IP addresses the LB alias will present. While this architecture has been used since long at CERN for DNS based aliases, the LBD code is generic enough to drive other load balancers. A proof of concept using HAProxy to provide adaptive responses to load and health monitoring has been implemented.

<p>This study aims to: (1) create category of knowledge communities in university library, (2) designing the prototype of an online encyclopedia of knowledge communities in the university library, and (3) testing a prototype of an online encyclopedia of knowledge communities. The method used is the analysis of web content of the communities website at IPB and development protoype using the MediaWiki software. The first results of this study are categories of knowledge created consisting of the main knowledge about the student association, student activity units, other communities, the terms of the campus and the surrounding of the campus. Second, in designing a prototype of Wiki Kampus make a data flow diagrams, system infrastructure, and installation. Furthermore, installation of MediaWiki including by several stages: (1) downloading and extracting the file master MediaWiki on a web server, (2) set-up the master files MediaWiki, (3) determine the format page categorizing and customize the user interface, and (4) set up a user account for students. Third, Wiki Kampus tested by some students of Master of Information Technology for Libraries (MTP) at IPB and the results is function well.</p><p>Kajian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) membuat kategori pengetahuan komunitas di perpusatakaan PT, (2) merancang prototipe ensiklopedia daring pengetahuan komunitas di perpustakaan PT, dan (3) melakukan ujicoba prototipe ensiklopedia daring pengetahuan komunitas. Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis konten web komunitas di IPB dan pengembangan prototipe Wiki Kampus menggunakan perangkat lunak MediaWiki. Hasil dari kajian ini yaitu kategori pengetahuan yang dibuat terdiri dari pengetahuan utama yakni seputar himpunan mahasiswa, unit kegiatan mahasiswa, komunitas lain, istilah-istilah kampus dan lingkungan sekitar kampus. Hasil perancangan prototipe Wiki Kampus terdiri dari pembuatan <em>data flow diagram</em>, perencanaan infrastruktur sistem dan penginstalasian perangkat lunak MediaWiki. Penginstalasian MediaWiki melalui beberapa tahapan di antaranya: (1) mengunduh dan mengekstraksi file master MediaWiki pada server web, (2) melakukan <em>set-up</em> file master MediaWiki, (3) menentukan format <em>page categorizing</em> dan mengkustomisasi tampilan pengguna, serta (4) menyiapkan <em>user account</em> untuk mahasiswa. This article describes a program that focuses on observational methodology. We argue for greater emphasis on systematic observation in teaching research methodology because of its efficacy in helping students master scientific principles and techniques. Observational methods allow students to establish criterion-based validity of self-reports, appreciate the dynamic nature of psychological phenomena, and understand the importance of interob-server reliability. Observational methods and instrumentation also show students how subdisciplines of psychology can be integrated. Laboratory exercises illustrating some of these principles and concepts are also described.

In the article, the using of three computer programs was considered step-by-step. These programs are "Arduino IDE", "Modbus OPC Universal Master Server" and "Master Scada". They are using for creating projects of automation for public catering enterprises. There is an example of automation of the hot shop in this article, which demonstrates us the methods of engineering based on the modern digital technologies. If you want to learn how to create the projects using these programs, for the beginning, we recommend you to repeat our demonstration project. In the represented methods, we recommend using the integrated sensors for measuring options of technological processes of production dishes. Modern sensors of temperature, pressure, moving and humidity are adapting with microcontrollers very good. This fact allows to create compact, inexpensive devices for primary collection and processing of information. There was been showed the method of transferring of collected information to the computer of the supervisor on the example of created OPC-server. The supervisor can look for the processes, which are happening in the hot shop of the public catering establishment. The supervisor’s remote control is developed on the base of the «Master Scada» program. This is one of the most popular automation program. Creators of the «Master Scada» say that this program is widely used in such companies as «Gazprom» and «Rosatom». The wide possibilities of this program allow us in the three-dimensional graph to represent the objects of automation, to accelerate the executive and regulating mechanisms that are on the screen in front of the dispatcher. The practical example, which was demonstrated in this article, is limited by three mnemonic diagrams. First of them is the splash screen of the hot shop with the menu of the transiting to the mnemonic diagram of the controlling of the food-brewing boiler and the electrical frying cupboard. If operator switches over to mnemonic diagram of the food-brewing boiler, he sees the degree of filling boiler by the cooking liquor, the temperature of this liquor and time of the cooking. Using the control buttons operator can make changes to the program of cooking his dish. The program also looks for emergency modes, in particular, to prevent dry running..

Dalam sebuah database terdistribusi, database disimpan tersebar di banyak lokasi yang terpisah namun saling berhubungan satu sama lain. Sinkronisasi data pada database terdistribusi yang heterogenous, dengan sumber data yang secara geografis terletak tersebar di beberapa lokasi yang sangat jauh adalah salah satu masalah dalam penerapannya. Sinkronisasi database yang dilakukan dengan cara export file SQL secara manual di sistem sumber, kemudian dikirimkan melalui email untuk di import di sistem tujuan sangat tidak efektif di mana sangat sering terjadi kesalahan pada sisi user dalam export import file-nya. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan solusi atas permasalahan tersebut dengan menerapkan teknik pemrograman socket untuk membangun aplikasi yang berfungsi sebagai media sinkronisasi otomatis pada datatabase terdistribusi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah middleware yang dapat menyinkronkan data pada database terdistribusi menggunakan teknik multi master replication. Teknik ini dapat meningkatkan availability dari database sehingga ketika terjadi kerusakan atau kegagalan pada satu lokasi fisik maka tidak menyebabkan kegagalan keseluruhan sistem pada database. Middleware ini akan membaca setiap perubahan pada database kemudian mengirimkannya melalui komunikasi socket ke aplikasi server. Aplikasi server kemudian akan mem-broadcast perubahan tersebut ke semua client yang terhubung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall model meliputi pengumpulan data, analisa dan desain sistem serta pembuatan dan uji coba.

The web services have emerged as a web based matured and popular technology paradigm. Due to increasing popularity, the reliability assurance and prediction have acquired more attentions to the developers, researchers and service providers. In this paper, the authors propose to design, develop and implement a service oriented prototype research electronic automated teller machine service using Windows Communication Foundation technology to study and predict some reliability aspects of web services. One master service is designed to authenticate a particular user to access services that is acting as a service broker and redirects the query to content service executing agents, acting as a service provider. The system has been implemented using C# programming language, Visual Studio.NET framework, Internet Information Service web server and Microsoft Structured Query Language database server. The authors present here the novel prototype architecture, testing procedures, HTTP transactional status and reliability analysis of the system under massive stress of consumers.

DoS (denial of service) assault is the most prevalent assault these days. It imposes a major risk to cybersecurity. At the point when this assault is propelled by numerous conveyed machines on a solitary server machine, it is called as a DDoS (distributed denial of service) assault. Additionally, DoS bypass on DHCP (dynamic host configuration protocol) server assault is a rising and famous assault in a system. The authors have proposed a stochastic intrusion detection game-based arrangement utilizing controlled Markov chain that figures the transition probabilities starting with one state then onto the next in a state transition diagram. At first, the authors have conjectured these assaults, and after that, they proposed a methodology that uses the idea of master and slave IPS (intrusion prevention system). This approach works well when mapped to these estimated assaults and accordingly helps in the recognition and counteractive action of these assaults in a cloud domain.

Pada makalah ini dibuat suatu sistem untuk memantau energi listrik yang terpakai pada lampu penerangan jalan umum dan mengirimkan datanya, berbasis wireless sensor network dengan topologi mesh. Terdapat modul slave yang dipasang pada tiang lampu jalan yang terdiri dari sensor tegangan jala-jala PLN, sensor arus yang terpakai oleh lampu, dan sensor intensitas cahaya yang dihasilkan lampu. Mikrokontroler Arduino pro mini 3,3V 8MHz digunakan untuk mengolah data dari sensor sehingga dapat diketahui besarnya daya yang digunakan oleh lampu. Wireless sensor network dengan topologi mesh dirancang untuk untuk mengatasi gagalnya pengiriman data dari modul slave ke modul master di komputer server. Wireless sensor network dirancang menggunakan RF transceiver. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sensor tegangan, arus dan intensitas cahaya memiliki ralat di bawah 3%. Perancangan wireless sensor network dengan topologi mesh berhasil direalisasikan, di mana ketika salah satu modul slave yang tidak berfungsi, semua data dari modul slave yang berfungsi tetap dapat diterima oleh modul master.

Mobile Agent (MA) technology has been recently proposed in Wireless Sensors Networks (WSNs) literature to answer the scalability problem of client/server model in data fusion applications. Herein we present CBID, a novel algorithm that calculates near-optimal routes for MAs that incrementally fuse the data as they visit the Sensor Nodes (SNs) while also enabling fast updates on the designed itineraries upon changes of network topology. CBID dispatches in parallel a number of MAs that sequentially visit sensor nodes arranged in tree structures and upon visiting an SN with two or more child SNs, the MAs (master MAs) clone of themselves with each clone (slave MA) visiting a tree branch. When all slave MAs return to that SN, they deliver their collected data to the master MA and are then disposed of. This results in a significant reduction of the overall energy expenditure and response time. Simulation results prove the high effectiveness of CBID in data fusion tasks compared to other alternative algorithms.

The necessary data include data on human resources, asset data and data of their students. At the moment the data is obtained manually by looking to the schools. With the development of information technology is now expected to have a school information system that can provide information quickly and accurately. Data on each school if put into one large server or big data can be used to analyze the data. The purpose of this research is to implement the interconnection of distributed database system using the socket API. It is used to provide master data of all schools under Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah. To support the analysis of the data interconnection of distributed databases, socket API technology is used. With a system like this then the communications database can be connected so that the school's data will be sent directly through the socket API and the data will automatically be processed by the webservice in the server middleware and will be utilized in the next process.

The intelligent programming analysis system based on Internet has attracted more and more attention in the field of education management. The problem of how to flexibly master the application capabilities of intelligent programming and development tools, debugging and optimizing programs, and project deployment is becoming more and more serious. Based on the intelligent programming analysis method, this paper systematically introduces the research and design process of education management model and designs modules such as distributed parallel PhpDig, information analyzer, and information resource database. The system adopts client/middleware/server (C/M/S) three-tier architecture planning and design. The server-side carries the resource manager, the middleware carries the intelligent work tasks (information analyzer, resource collection agent), and the client implements user interaction and data representation solves the storage load problem of a large amount of data. The experimental results show that the semantic processing of search object attributes can improve the retrieval performance, and the retrieval rate and tolerance factor reach 87.6% and 0.041, respectively, which effectively promotes the integration of the analysis data on the chain level and the education system.

People can go looking for tutors of related subject for specific time of meeting and location, and then the system will search tutors with matched time of availability within nearest location radius. In addition, students can organize or plan a learning meeting session with the teacher through the application. This information system is a client-server based where the built application consists of Android applications running on the client environment and web applications running on the server environment. Mobile/client applications are used by end-users to search and organize learning session. Web applications serves as web services and interfaces for administrator to manage master data, view user and transaction data, print reports, and respond to complaints from end-users. The programming language used in building this information system is the Java programming language for mobile applications and PHP for web applications and web services. And using MySQL as the database.

Sistem E-karyawan Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Informatika dan Komputer (STMIK) Hang Tuah Pekanbaru, telah terkomputerisasi dan terhubung dengan jaringan internet atau Web, namun masih terbatas pada pengelolaan data master karyawan dan data master user, dengan demikian sulit untuk bagian kepegawaian melakukan pengelolaan data pegawai karena belum lengkapnya modul layanan yang terdapat pada sistem E-karyawan Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Informatika dan Komputer (STMIK) Hang Tuah Pekanbaru tersebut. Selain itu masih adanya cara pendokumentasian data pegawai secara konvensional yang menyulitkan petugas kepegawaian dalam mendapatkan informasi pegawai. Maka dari itu peneliti mencoba mengembangkan sistem E-karyawan Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Informatika dan Komputer (STMIK) Hang Tuah Pekanbaru dengan cara penambahan beberapa modul layanan agar informasi yang dihasilkan lebih bersifat informatif seperti penambahan modul-modul master, modul-modul manajemen pegawai dan modul-modul laporan pegawai. Pengembangan sistem E-karyawan ini menggunakan metode Model Waterfall, digambarkan pada bahasa pemodelan UML (Unified Modelling Language), dirancang menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP (Personal Home Page) dan database server menggunakan MySQL (My Structured Query Language). Dengan adanya pengembangan sistem E-karyawan ini maka akan membantu bagian kepegawaian dalam mengelola kegiatan administrasi kepegawaian seperti pengolahan data pegawai, riwayat jabatan, riwayat pendidikan, riwayat kepanitiaan, riwayat penugasan, riwayat pelatihan, riwayat sosialisasi, riwayat kunjungan kerja, mencetak Surat Perintah Tugas (SPT), mencetak Surat Perintah Perjalanan Dinas (SPPD) dan mencetak surat biaya perjalanan dinas pegawai sehingga bagian kepegawaian dapat memeperoleh data pegawai dengan cepat dan akurat serta mempermudah dalam pembuatan laporan kepegawaian Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Informatika dan Komputer (STMIK) Hang Tuah Pekanbaru.

Actually, investors from several industrial sectors are looking for process improvements that aim at profitability and greater competitiveness in the market, however, characteristics such as cost, information and production agility are determining points for this. Open source input and output control platforms that integrate microcontrollers have been gaining ground in several sectors, where programmers have the ability to control processes and manage data. In this way, this article presents the development of a real time monitoring system of physical quantities based on Arduino and Raspberry. The complete system will consist of two modules, "Slave" and "Master", in which the data transfer of the measurements of temperature, humidity, luminosity, pressure and others will be carried out. The slave, formed by inexpensive sensors connected to an Arduino MEGA 2560, will be allocated at a remote location to acquire the desired physical quantities. The Master, will receive the information through an ethernet shield, connected in both modules, and will manage the database. The information stored on the web server can be accessed via internet browser, either in desktops or mobile systems through a friendly platform in real time.

Botnet is an urgent problem that will reduce the security and availability of the network. When the bot master launches attacks to certain victims, the infected users are awakened, and attacks start according to the commands from the bot master. Via Botnet, DDoS is an attack whose purpose is to paralyze the victim’s service. In all kinds of DDoS, SYN flood is still a problem that reduces security and availability. To enhance the security of the Internet, IDS is proposed to detect attacks and protect the server. In this paper, the concept of centroid-based classification is used to enhance performance of the framework. An anomaly-based IDS framework which combines K-means and KNN is proposed to detect SYN flood. Dimension reduction is designed to achieve visualization, and weights can adjust the occupancy ratio of each sub-feature. Therefore, this framework is also suitable for use on the modern symmetry or asymmetry architecture of information systems. With the detection by the framework proposed in this paper, the detection rate is 96.8 percent, the accuracy rate is 97.3 percent, and the false alarm rate is 1.37 percent.

In this day people are asking for a reliable network when technology at its limit. Software-Defined Network (SDN) is an answer to that problem of network development where all the control over the network becomes centralized. However, all services controlled by a centralized controller have a big disadvantage if the controller dies. The High Availability (HA) is the solution. HA controller is divided into master and slave, when master controller is down then slave controller will respond to replace the function of master controller. In this research the system will be made by using two methods namely OpenDayLight SDN Controller Platform (OSCP) clustering and Heartbeat-DRBD (Distributed Replicated Block Device). OSCP clustering is a feature on OpenDayLight controller that is ready to be used and only need to be configured, with OSCP the main and backup controller clustering will be on connected cluster. Heartbeat-DRBD is an application commonly used to create High Availability systems on a server, but in this study will be used for the controller, Heartbeat will monitoring the main controller and if indicated to be down will move the resources to the backup controller with the DRBD application. From the simulation result shows that OSCP Clustering Failover and Failback average Time is 17 seconds while Heartbeat-DRBD is 23-45 seconds depends on how many switch and host are.While QoS parameters on both method have simillar value.it can be concluded that the High Availability system with OSCP Clustering method is more stable and good rather than Heartbeat-DRBD method to apply in a network.

This study aimed to propose a pure web-based solution to serve users to access large-scale 3D medical volume anywhere with good user experience and complete details. A novel solution of the Master-Slave interaction mode was proposed, which absorbed advantages of remote volume rendering and surface rendering. On server side, we designed a message-responding mechanism to listen to interactive requests from clients (Slave model) and to guide Master volume rendering. On client side, we used HTML5 to normalize user-interactive behaviors on Slave model and enhance the accuracy of behavior request and user-friendly experience. The results showed that more than four independent tasks (each with a data size of 249.4 MB) could be simultaneously carried out with a 100-KBps client bandwidth (extreme test); the first loading time was <12 s, and the response time of each behavior request for final high quality image remained at approximately 1 s, while the peak value of bandwidth was <50-KBps. Meanwhile, the FPS value for each client was ≥40. This solution could serve the users by rapidly accessing the application via one URL hyperlink without special software and hardware requirement in a diversified network environment and could be easily integrated into other telemedical systems seamlessly.

Helmet theft is a problem that is of concern to the public. Information Technology provides may resolve any problems, like Internet of Things-based system that can detect helmet theft and track the location of the helmet if it's stolen. This system is designed using a microcontroller device, namely Arduino which is attached to the helmet and motorbike with the help of the SIM800L v2, GPS Neo-6m, buzzer, and Bluetooth HC-05 which is connected to the master slave as an indicator of the safety of the helmet. The hardware on the helmet is connected to Firebase Realtime Database server so it can be connected with the user's Android application to monitor the state and location of the helmet. Android application displays maps to determine the position of the helmet, and can display notifications when the helmet is being stolen. The conclusion is this system can detect helmet theft with a maximum distance from the master and slave bluetooth connections of 10 meters, and the average data transmission from hardware to Firebase is 1,1 seconds, and can monitor status of the helmet and track the position of the helmet through the Android application with Android Jelly Bean (v4.3) operating system.

The dual decomposition of stochastic mixed-integer programs can be solved by the projected subgradient algorithm. We show how to make this algorithm more amenable to parallelization in a master-worker model by describing two approaches, which can be combined in a natural way. The first approach partitions the scenarios into batches and makes separate use of subgradient information for each batch. The second approach drops the requirement that evaluation of function and subgradient information is synchronized across the scenarios. We provide convergence analysis of both methods. We also evaluate their performance on two families of problems from SIPLIB on a single server with 32 single-core worker processes, demonstrating that when the number of workers is high relative to the number of scenarios, these two approaches (and their synthesis) can significantly reduce running time.
