Анотація:
The ongoing reforms of the Russia�s educational system call for improvements in the system of higher education. Thus there is a critical need to provide the theoretical and methodological basis for training Master�s degree students, and particularly for the culture-general training. Meanwhile the Federal State Educational Standard of the 3rd generation does not describe in detail the concept of culture-general training of Master�s students, providing only the set of general cultural competencies, which students are required to develop to graduate with the Master�s degree. As higher education institutions are free to set up their own mechanisms of culture-general training, the author emphasizes, that she and her colleagues place a particular focus on culture-general training of Master�s degree students attending the higher pedagogical institutions, because the graduates would not become valued society members, unless they have mastered and enhanced the whole range of culture-general competencies.

SUMMARY: Public and private sector organizations worldwide are increasingly concerned with improving occupational safety and health (OSH) and increasingly seek skilled OSH professionals. Becoming an OSH professional requires a multidisciplinary training. Since 2012, the University of Turin, along with the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization (ITC-ILO), the International Labour Office (ILO) and the International Commission of Occupational Health (ICOH) collected this challenge and opened a master course in OSH. The aim is to assess the consistency and effectiveness of the emerging educational proposal. The proposed programme is opened to participants from both developing and developed countries. Besides a preparatory Internet-based Distance Learning Phase, enabling participants with different backgrounds to reach an adequate level of knowledge, this one-year programme includes a residential period, followed by another distance phase for the preparation of the dissertation. Residential Phase of Turin includes classroom training, study visits to selected enterprises and related training sessions. From 2007 to 2018 more than 300 participants applied first to the Postgraduate course and then to the Master in OSH, with variable occupational backgrounds such as public institutions, private companies and Universities. 65,7% (SD 8,1%) of the participants were enrolled to the Residential Phase, with a mean age of 38 years (SD 7,4), 55,9% (SD 5,2%) achieved the Master Degree. Different evaluation strategies were used. The average satisfaction survey score was high (4,28; SD 0,67). At the end of the training period, participants learnt to manage the use of OSH procedures and techniques and health management systems. The results of the profit and satisfaction questionnaires demonstrate the effectiveness of the course.

Purpose: “Yan Shou Hong Cui” is a representative punch in Chen-style Tai Chi. The training is an important factor in affecting the effect of Tai Chi practice. Joint angles are the most intuitive way to evaluate motion. The purpose of this study is to compare the movements of Tai Chi masters and beginners’ movements through the analysis of joint angle and punching effect, and explore the influence of training years on the power generation of Tai Chi punches. Methods: There were 14 Chinese Chen-style Tai Chi subjects recruited for this study. They were divided into the master group (n = 7, age of 38.14 ± 10.42 years, height of 1.68 ± 0.06 m, weight of 71.33 ± 8.61 kg) and the beginner group (n = 7, age of 38.00 ± 11.94 years, height of 1.69 ± 0.07 m, weight of 70.14 ± 9.79 kg). The typical movement from Chen-style Tai Chi is called Yan Shou Hong Cui. All subjects were asked to perform the action three times, and the way of force was applied each time. The kinematic and kinetic characteristics of Tai Chi were analyzed by the VICON 3D motion analysis system (100 Hz) with 16 MX13 cameras, and the punch efficiency was measured by the Chinese Kung Fu Dummy (80,000 Hz). Results: The experimental results show that the shoulder, elbow, and hand movements of the master group are more precise and the force strength is more vigorous (master group: the peak angular velocity of the shoulder joint was −324.12 ± 50.88°/s, the angular velocity of the elbow joint was −112.83 ± 56.98°/s, and the hand angular velocity was −121.69 ± 49.55°/s; beginner group: shoulder angle velocity was −281.17 ± 30.56°/s, the elbow angle speed was −263.64 ± 68.63°/s, and the hand angle speed was −36.80 ± 12.53°/s). The rotation angle and rotation speed of the hip joint in the master group were significantly higher than those in the beginner group (as for the hip rotation angle, the master group was 64°, which was significantly higher than the beginner group’s 44°, and there was a significant difference (p = 0.019 < 0.05)). In terms of rotation speed, the peak value of the master group was 370.3 ± 94.8°/s, which was significantly faster than that of the beginner group at 210.4 ± 56.1°/s, and there was a very significant difference (p = 0.003 < 0.01). The master group’s punch effect acceleration (496.39 ± 256.52 m/s2) was significantly higher than that of the beginner group (396.90 ± 116.79 m/s2). Conclusion: People who practice Tai Chi for a long time differ from the beginners in terms of joint flexibility, punching posture, and the effect of application.

This article presents a double evaluation carried out in the subject Complements for disciplinary training II: Computing, corresponding to the Master's degree teacher training in secondary education, baccalaureate, vocational training and languages taught by the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. The students of the subject had to learn how to prepare simple web pages, using HTML, CSS and JavaScript programming languages. To this end, the flipped classroom technique was used to present the necessary contents, combined with the adaptation of Aronson's cooperative learning puzzle technique, used to carry out a group practice that reflected the knowledge acquired. It is worth mentioning, as a complement to the two techniques used, the use of an adapted assessment rubric, which was provided to the students at the beginning of the teaching block. The evaluation was carried out during two consecutive academic years, 2018/2019 and 2019/2020. There were important differences between the two studies: in the first study, the students' previous self-assigned level was much higher (2.8 points as opposed to 1.4 points on a scale of 1 to 5). The other difference, even more relevant, was that in the second year all teaching was done at home, in a non-attendance format, on a mandatory basis, due to the period of confinement decreed by the state of alarm at that moment, because of the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, popularly known as coronavirus. At the end of the experience, the students expressed their satisfaction with the learning acquired and with the tasks performed, in both cases. The techniques used were well-appreciated, in the first year more than in the second, and especially flipped classroom. The scores obtained were, in addition, always very relevant.

The key goal of modern geographical education is the process of forming a holistic worldview based on the general picture of the world and, in particular, the formation of geographical thinking based on a systematic approach. This ensures the socialization of the individual, capable of independently building a trajectory of professional growth and personal development, subject to mastering both universal and professional competencies. The most effective form of education in the formation of a holistic picture of the world, from the point of view of the authors, is the network form, which is provided for by the law “On Education in the Russian Federation” (article 15). It is the network form of implementation of educational programs, including master′s, that provides an individual choice of educational trajectories of learning. The article outlines the problem of choosing an approach to assessing the effectiveness of master’s programs. The analysis of the experience in the formation of competencies for different levels of education, presented in scientific publications, confirmed the insufficient degree of knowledge of the process of the formation and development of the competencies of master geographers. The article describes the approaches to the content of the variable part of the network master′s program for the training of teachers of geography.

The subject of this research is the dynamics of functional states of individuals who combine work and studying for master&rsquo;s degree. The author thoroughly describes in the possibilities of using modern virtual reality technologies to restore the working capacity of master&rsquo;s degree students. The article provides the data of empirical study that involved men and women aged 22 to 53 years studying for a master's degree. Restoration of working capacity was conducted by viewing virtual scenes in a special helmet for 10-15 minutes before the lectures. The obtained results demonstrate the decline in situational fatigue, mental tiredness and performance impairment indicators after the virtual reality sessions. The author also determined a tendency towards the influence of chronic fatigue syndrome on multiple negative mental state indicators of the respondents. At the same time, after carrying out a training with the use of VR technologies, the effect of chronic fatigue syndrome on mental states decreases, while among the master&rsquo;s degree students who were not involved in the experiment , it increases. At the same time, after training with the use of VR technologies, the effect of chronic fatigue syndrome on mental States decreases, while for undergraduates who were not exposed to VR technologies, it increases.

The North Central Consumer Horticulture Integrated Pest Management Working Group developed an online learning module entitled, “Introduction to Diagnostics for Master Gardener Volunteers: Approaches to Plant Pest Diagnosis.” The module is online in the campus or learn section of eXtension and is composed of three parts: part 1 covers the difficulties in diagnosing plant problems; part 2 discusses how to gather the information necessary for the diagnostic process; and part 3 covers the Ohio State Fact Sheet, “20 Questions on Plant Diagnostics.” The self-paced module takes a minimum of 2 hours to complete, although participants have access to the information for 10 weeks. The module costs $10 and the income is distributed between the module author(s), the state which the Extension Master Gardener (EMG) is from, and eXtension. Within 11 months, 451 people purchased the training. Participants reported a higher comfort and knowledge level of diagnostics after taking the training.

Introduction. The current problems of non-compliance of vocational education with the new technological order and the needs of the digital economy, the demands of society and the current level of technology development actualise the need for changes in vocational education systems in different countries of the world. The connection of such changes with the labour market and the economy as a whole is direct and immediate. Solving education staffing and tackling the professional deficits of teachers of vocational education identified to date has led to the development in the Russian Federation of the Federal project “Professionalitаt” aimed at creating educational and production clusters in the vocational education system, optimising the terms of training in educational programmes and strengthening the state system of teacher training for vocational education in Russia.The aim of the article was to demonstrate and justify the approaches to the implementation of the Federal project “Professionalitаt” in terms of its human resourcing.Methods and research methodology. The study was conducted using the following approaches: a network approach, under which education acts as a system of renewable reflexive social practices inscribed in the system of communication networks (R. Collins, E. Giddens); a practice-oriented approach (D. Warneke, E.-M. Post, A. M. Novikov, D. P. Danilaev); a modular competency-based approach (E. A. Komarnitskaya, P. Pardjono, A. Tapani, A. O. Salonen, W. Wagira); a cognitive approach (R. G. Bolbakov, S. A. Dudko, B. A. Kydyrova, J. B. Feiler, E. E. Schaefer, M. E Stabio).To solve the research questions posed in the current work, the methods of studying and analysing scientific and methodological literature and normative legal documents on the research problem were used. The authors also employed pedagogical forecasting and modelling, and system analysis. The search for theoretical sources was carried out using the scientific resources of the international databases Scopus, Web of Science and the Russian Science Citation Index (eLibrary) with a search depth of 7 years.The theoretical and methodological basis of the study was the theory of the development of professional and vocational pedagogical education and the theory of designing the content of vocational pedagogical education, developed over many years by A. M. Novikov, G. M. Romantsev, O. V. Tarasyuk, V. A. Fedorov, which allowed the authors of the article to develop the possible content of the model of industrial training of a new format. The application of the main provisions of the theories of integration of the content of vocational education (V. M. Kedrov, S. I. Kornev, N. K. Chapaev) was aimed at the formation of soft and polyprofessional competencies required for future professional and pedagogical activities.Results. In the course of the study, the theoretical and methodological substantiation of the original model of the preparation of future masters of industrial training for the organisation of the educational process in the context of the implementation of educational programmes within the framework of the Federal project “Professionalitat” is given. The key (meaningful) component of this model involves the design of competence-oriented content of industrial training provided for the master (Master 2.0), which is revealed through new scientific directions in the fields of neuroeducation, distance learning engineering, Lean-Agile engineering thinking, engineering pedagogy and cognitive science of vocational training. The presented model of the preparation of the master of industrial training of a new formation (Master 2.0.) can be implemented in accordance with the following basic conditions: firstly, the integration of various branches of knowledge in the field of vocational training; secondly, a high-quality level of development of technologies and tools to improve the effectiveness of educational activities in accelerated learning; thirdly, the formation of a cluster that ensures the interaction of educational organisations of the vocational education system with enterprises of the real sector of the economy; fourthly, the creation of a scientific and educational testing ground for the development and testing of innovative content of the master’s vocational training 2.0.The scientific novelty of the research consists in the development of a model for the preparation of future masters of industrial training for the organisation of the educational process in the context of the implementation of the programmes of the Federal project “Professionalitat”.

The objective of this research was to understand comprehensively the development of teachers’ career at the Al-Ifadah Islamic secondary school it was a qualitative research with study case method conducted in Penjaringan, north Jakarta.Qualitative method was used with case studying approach. In this research data collecting with triangulation technique to get credibility in this research grouped as (1) give longer time in research location (2) observation 60 documentation. After with the data categorized and coding were done in two data summary appropriately with the research problem and sub problems then and data analysis about completeness and relevance data examined.The finding lead to the recommendation teacher’s for continues them studies to get more education to apply teachers’ training in term of develop teacher’s career. Socialization leading and socialization training in order to get the Al-Ifadah Islamic secondary school running well, it is recommended for education head masters and teachers to improve accountability in assessing standard of Islamic secondary school.

Abstract Background Health Informatics (HI) is an interdisciplinary field, integrating health sciences, computer science, information science, and cognitive science to assist health information management, analysis, and utilization. As the HI field is broad, it is impossible that a student will be able to master all the diverse HI topics. Thus, it is important to train the HI students based on the offering of the various HI programs and needs of the current market. This project will study the U.S. HI programs, training materials, HI job market, the skillset required by the employers, competencies taught in HI programs, and comparisons between them. Methods We collected the training information for the 238 U.S. universities that offered MS, PhD, or postbaccalaureate certificate programs in HI or related professions. Next, we explored the HI job market by randomly checking 200 jobs and their required skillsets and domain knowledge. Then, we compared these skillsets with those offered by the HI programs and identified the gaps and overlaps for program enhancements. Results Among the 238 U.S. universities, 94 universities offer HI programs: 92 universities with MS (Master of Science), 43 with doctoral, 42 with both MS and doctoral, and 54 with certificate programs. The most offered HI courses are related to practicum, data analytics, research, and ethics. For the HI job postings, the three most technical skillsets required in HI job posting are data analysis, database management, and knowledge of electronic health records. However, only 58% of HI programs offer courses in database management and analytics. Compared with American Medical Informatics Association's recommended 10 fundamental domains, the HI curriculum generally lacks training in socio-technical systems, social-behavioral aspects of health, and interprofessional collaborative practice. Conclusion There are gaps between the industry expectations of HI and the training received in HI programs. Advance level technical courses are needed in HI programs to meet industry expectations.

The Master Gardener Program in the state of Wisconsin is growing rapidly and has been in existence since the late 1970s. There are several aspects of our program(s) that make us unique. First, we are one of the very few states to service all counties within the state, not just our heavily metropolitan areas. Second, we have two major program types along with some unique county programming. We have the basic Master Gardener Program, which covers the major aspects of horticulture—this gives the learner 36 h of training with an expectation of 36 h of volunteer work in return. We now offer the general program in districts (extension has six clusters of counties in Wisconsin)—such that the counties within a district (usually around 16) will have the chance to offer the course at least once every 3 years. That is because the general course is offered once a week (3 h in the evening) for 12 weeks; and thus the basic course is offer spring and fall. If some of the counties within a particular district do not choose to participate, then other counties around the state can take part. Most of the 12 programs are high quality 2-h video productions followed by a 1-h ETN program, which is like a big conference call—everyone has an interactive session with the specialist who developed the video. The specialized program is a series of four 36-h (six 6-h days) training over a 4-year period, which covers flowers, fruit, vegetables, and turf, along with trees and shrubs. This program is offered in our four largest metropolitan areas and is still done all by live lecture. Finally, we require update training for our MGs if they want to continue to be members in good standing (wallet-size cards are issued). This involves 10 h of specified educational opportunities and 10 volunteer hours per year. We also have a day-long educational conference each spring as well as cooperating with Iowa and Minnesota to offer a 2-1/2 day workshop on the alternating years of the international conference. This is hands-on training, held usually the end of June, and rotates among the three states. We now have a stong MG association which has nonprofit status and is an integral partner with us here at the university. Not only do MGs receive members in good standing cards annually, they also receive certificates for 150, 250, 500, 750, and 1000 h of service as well as a 10-year certificate.

AbstractTransanal endoscopic microsurgery (TEM) is a technique that was introduced in the 1980s for improved exposure to upper rectal polyps. This technique, though initially difficult to master due to new skill acquisition for surgeons, has spared many patients proctectomy. There are many benign indications for transanal endoscopic surgery which has led to in vivo operating room training with fewer undesirable effects to the patient. With the explosion of laparoscopic technology this transanal technique is no longer limited to intraluminal pathology, but is now being used to remove the entire rectum. In transanal total mesorectal excision (taTME), benign indications are less common, translating to potentially more severe oncologic patient consequences during the early phase of adoption. For this reason, strict training criteria consensus guidelines have been developed by the experts in taTME. The current consensus statements agree that training surgeons should have performed a minimum of 10 laparoscopic TME procedures and should have some experience with transanal surgery. Surgeons need to attend a formal training course and should start clinically on benign or early malignant pathology without threated circumferential resection margins. Surgeons also need to have their first cases proctored until deemed proficient by the proctor and monitor their morbidity, oncologic, and functional outcomes prospectively.

Purpose. To determine the impact of exercise modes on the effectiveness of teaching boys aged 15 the press headstand and handstand. Materials and methods. The study participants were 20 boys aged 15. The children and their parents were fully informed about all the features of the study and gave their consent to participate in the experiment. To solve the tasks set, the following research methods were used: study and analysis of scientific and methodological literature; pedagogical observation, timing of training tasks; pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics, discriminant analysis. Results. The assumption was made about a significant influence of the modes of alternating exercise repetitions and the rest interval on the effectiveness of teaching boys aged 15 the press headstand and handstand. The study found that statistically significant differences in the number of repetitions are observed in performing all training tasks. The boys aged 15 who use the second mode (6 sets 2 times each with a rest interval of 60 s) need fewer repetitions to master series of motor tasks 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6. The boys aged 15 who use the first mode (6 sets 1 time each with a rest interval of 60 s) need fewer repetitions to master the second series of training tasks (exercises to master starting and ending positions). Conclusions. The analysis of standardized, structure coefficients, and group centroids revealed that exercise modes significantly influence the process of teaching boys aged 15 the press headstand and handstand during physical education classes. The results of classification of the groups show that 100 % of the original grouped cases were classified correctly. The study found that the mode of 6 sets 2 times each with a rest interval of 60 s is more effective than the mode of 6 sets 1time with a rest interval of 60 s when teaching series of motor tasks 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

Abstract:Most medical schools in France have chairs in Biostatistics and Medical Informatics to coordinate the teaching of these two disciplines both within the regular curriculum of the medical studies and as a specialized teaching. This paper describes the current medical informatics specialized program offered at the Paris Universities. Since 1968 the program has comprised a Master of Science and a Ph.D. degree. At the Master Level, despite several reforms and in-depth program revisions the curriculum is still organized as a set of modules of 100 hours teachins with a large freedom for the medical faculties to define the contents of the courses and for the students to organize their studies and combine medical informatics, biomathematics and biostatistics training. Since 1990, an intensive one-year full-time course is offered, called Advanced Study Diploma in Medical Informatics, which is strongly research oriented. This program seems a good strategy to form medical informatics special1 ists who have initially received a broader education in informatics and statistics.

AbstractCesarean section is the ultimate method of successful delivery of infants under various circumstances and is an indispensable operation in obstetrics. However, the degree of difficulty varies greatly depending on the gestational weeks, number of fetuses, number of previous cesarean sections, degree of placental adhesion, presence of uterine myomas, maternal obesity, and other factors. In addition, emergency cesarean section is a battle against time, and prompt surgery is required.During training in cesarean section, surgeons must master the basic techniques in cases of term head presentation first. They must then master the techniques in cases involving complications such as malpresentation, preterm birth, placenta previa, abruptio placentae, uterine myomas, and other conditions.Cesarean section itself is a simple operation. However, there are many difficult cases, and many complications such as placenta accreta and defects of the incision scar may occur after cesarean section.The present report describes the basic procedures and cautionary points to perform the cesarean section without complications.

Abstract This paper present the results of our project to develop the preliminary design of a jet trainer plane (JTP) with a two-person crew, the base version of which is intended for cadet training. We first consider the assumptions and requirements for the new aircraft, and review the parameters of existing aircraft designs in the similarly-purposed class. Next we argue for certain design choices, regarding the aircraft layout, cockpit configuration, wing location and wingform, tail scheme, and powerplant. The resulting aircraft design is calculated to have a maximum flight speed of 940 km/h, a ground-level rate of climb of 100 m/s, and a range of 1130 km. The plane’s take-off mass is calculated, in three approximations, at 2264 kg. Lastly we present the training plane’s geometrical parameters, general view, and master geometry.

This chapter provides one person case study of Mr. Dan DeFilippi who was arrested for master card fraud by the US u. s. SS in December 2004. The episode delves into the psychology of a cybercriminal and also the inside workings of master card fraud. A background context of master card fraud is presented to border the first interview. Slightly on the identification of issues and controversies with reference to carding is then given. Finally, the convicted cybercriminal turned key informant makes advice on how to reduce the growing prevalence of cybercrime. A giant finding is that master card fraud is simply too easy to enact and merchants have to conduct better staff training to catch fraudsters early. With increases in global online acquiring, international carding networks are proliferating, making it hard for enforcement agencies to be “policing” illegal transactions. Big data could have a task to play in analyzing behaviors that expose cybercrime.

Results. The analysis of averages shows that statistically significant differences in the number of repetitions are observed in performing series of training tasks 1, 2, and 4 (p < 0.05). The girls aged 15 who use the first mode (6 sets 1 time each with a rest interval of 60 s) need fewer repetitions to master the movements of the first (exercises to develop motor abilities) and the second (exercises to master starting and ending positions) series of tasks. The girls who use the second mode (6 sets 2 times each with a rest interval of 60 s) need fewer repetitions to master the movements of the fourth series of tasks (ability to assess movements in space, by time and muscular effort) (p < 0.05). Conclusions. Discriminant analysis made it possible to determine the impact of the number of repetitions on the effectiveness of developing the cartwheel skill in girls aged 15. During motor skills development, both the first and the second variants of exercise modes and rest intervals can be used. For series of tasks 1 and 2, it is advisable to use 6 sets 1 time each with a rest interval of 60 s; for series of tasks 3, 5, and 6 – 6 sets 1 time each with a rest interval of 60 s or 6 sets 2 times each with a rest interval of 60 s; for series 4 – 6 sets 2 times each with a rest interval of 60 s.

This research aims to obtain knowledge of the perception of last year´s students’ in Pre-primary and Primary Education Degrees and Secondary Education, Vocational Education and Languages Education in Teachers University Master (better known as Training Teachers Master or Secondary Education Master) at Jaen University (UJA) and the National Distance Education University (UNED), about the most important competences in their learning process. Those competences allow students to develop their knowledge and practice, in order to be capable of dealing with those real demands that surround them. In order to achieve this, we use a descriptive methodology. We apply an ad hoc, pre-designed questionnaire,(n=638). The results reveal a positive opinion in students in relation to competences and how those competences are developed within their classrooms or Study centers. In addition to that, students present some proposals to boost the improvement of competences. They invite teachers to innovate and to create new educative models that allow them to achieve an optimal development as future professionals.

Abstract Background Since COVID-19 emerged, it has significantly affected medical education. Surgical training has been blocked and the learning curve flattened. However, COVID-19 led to the outbreak of multitudinous online courses. Master series: microsurgery for residents (MSMR) has been the most extensive and accessible online nonfee course transmitted so far regarding reconstructive microsurgery. The primary aim of this study was to assess the impact of the MSMR in the surgical community as an international educational tool during pandemic confinement. Methods A retrospective, observational, analytic, and transversal study was designed. An 11-item survey was sent to all the 1,513 attendees who completed at least 60% of course attendance during 2 days. Descriptive and analytic statistics were performed. The impact was measured by considering answers to questions 6 to 9 and 11 (course usefulness, microsurgery interest increase, desire to pursue a microsurgical career, attendance to in-person conferences, and overall score, respectively). Results A total of 1,111 (73.4%) of eligible subjects were included. In total, 55.8% were plastic surgery residents. After the course, 98.9% would pursue a career in reconstructive microsurgery, and 45% would stop attending in-person conferences. The overall score of the event was 9.06 ± 0.9 (from 0 to 10) regardless of the current training status. Conclusion The MSMR was a high impact course and has established a paradigm shift that will lead to an evolution in plastic surgery learning.

Although teacher education seeks to form a teacher-research and the research being wellness recognized as a key activity, excellent use and meaning has generated controversy. in this sense, we have investigated: which are the conceptions and practices of research master degree teachers who work in teaching at elementary schools? The objective was to identify the concepts and practices in search of master teachers. This qualitative study that we conducted in semi structured interviews with eight master professors. For the design of the teacher-researcher we have identified three aspects: a) the professional who remains up-to-dated, b) That the professional prioritizes the research over teaching, c) the professional who investigates his/her teaching practice. However, we have not noticed the correct understanding of research as a systematic process, in order to the science related to teaching. Most teachers demonstrated interest in and ability conducting research in the school, however, they have expressed impossibilities due to limiting factors related to the physical structure, lack of time, low salary and poor support from the school managers. They have noticed that the master´s contributed in his/her training as a teacher-researcher. This study allowed us to analyze the educational literature which gives an emphasis on the need to train the teacher-researcher. However, it is not often discussed the history of the teachers´ training, working conditions, career, the financial resources and the infrastructure also necessary for the teacher to be able to conduct research in the schools.

The specifics of competence-based management in training students for the Master�s Degree in higher education pedagogy are revealed. The author argues for the necessity to replace the qualification model of higher education establishment graduate with the competence model and emphasizes the need to develop sophisticated methods to manage the professional competence building of prospective high-school teachers. The competence-based management is defined and its specific characteristics are highlighted to confirm that it is a separate form of higher education institution�s management. The original model for managing the process of building professional competence in the high-school pedagogy is described with its main ingredients: methodological, substantive and organizational and technological. The author lists the regulatory, managerial and organizational-and-pedagogic conditions for effective model performance and describes how to implement the proposed model and to set up evaluative and analytical monitoring of the model performance.

Before analyzing the responses of Alabama garden center employees about the training they had received, we determined how satisfied 100 Alabama Master Gardeners were with the employee-s who helped them in the store from which they most often purchased plants for their homes, landscapes, or gardens. We mailed the primary survey to 472 employees of 130 retail garden center businesses in Alabama to determine the percentage of employees who received job training and the amount, frequency, and methods of training they received while working for their current employers (37% responded). Employees were categorized as managers (28%) or subordinate employees (72%) and full-time (72%) or part-time (28%). Forty-four percent of the employees had received some training at the time they were hired. Training continued for 68% of the respondents. Only 39% of the employees had a written description of their job responsibilities discussed with them. Most (85%) believed the training they received had prepared them to do their jobs well, but 82% said more training would increase their confidence in their work performance. Most employees were trained by one-on-one instruction (60%) and small-group sessions (5 or fewer persons) (65%). Few employees received training from videotapes (5%) or educational seminars (26%), and most that did were managers and full-time employees.

<p><em>English is widely learned throughout the globe not only as a second but also as a foreign language. As a foreign language in Indonesia, English is only studied at school as a subject-matter. Bali is a popular tourist destination in Indonesian and it provides a number of opportunities for people to master competence in English language speaking. One of the English trainings for the local villagers is run by the government of Badung regency, in the Bali province-Indonesia. This article aims at describing the process and result of English training for members of the community Group of Tourism Awareness. The participants, including the tourism local guides, were provided with materials on the following functions of the language: greetings, farewell and special expressions, apologizing, requests, invitations and suggestions. The training was carried out during three days with time allotment of 2 hours a day. The training consisted in orientation, drills, feedback and continuation. Training was delivered in terms of conversational process using the techniques of RELUS (R = read, LU = look up, S = say). The evaluation of the training was carried out through individual oral tests. The results showed that 11 out of the 18 participants obtained excellent marks and the rest obtained good results. </em></p>

These requirements are set by the Federal State Educational Standard 3 and 3+ and are dictated by the real labor market. The practice-oriented approach is achieved through the applying of interactive training forms, involving of experts in tourism industry, organization of various kinds of practices associated with real activity, realization training trips and extracurricular students’ activities. An important factor of increasing the connection of the educational process with the actual needs of the tourism business is the formulation of final results in the form of specific professions. This approach allows organizing training modules in accordance with the tourist industry requirements. An important form of the formation of business thinking in students, who are studying tourism, is their work at workshops on the development of specific programs or objects by request the municipal or commercial establishments. In contrast to the bachelor degree course for master course at the Yaroslavl State University are formulated professional guidelines relating to the enterprise management in the tourism industry, territory management, as well as the development of territorial tourism and recreation complexes. The high demand of the University graduates at the enterprises of the tourism industry proves the success of this approach in the educational field.

Despite the recognized value of an experiential training group in major counselling program accrediting and governing institutions, there is a paucity of research investigating the effectiveness of such a training group for counsellors-in-training (CITs). The present study examined the effects of a wellness-themed training group conducted in Hong Kong on CITs&rsquo; psychological wellness and group leader self-efficacy. The Five Factor Wellness Inventory (5F&ndash;Wel) and the Group Leader Self-Efficacy Instrument (GLSI) were administered to forty-three CITs of a Hong Kong master&rsquo;s degree program in counsellor education. A pretest&ndash;posttest design was employed to compare psychological wellness and group leader self-efficacy before and after a 12-hour experiential training group. Two research aims were addressed. The findings showed significant increases in group leader self-efficacy and psychological wellness among CIT participants. Further investigation showed that Coping Self, Creative Self and Life Satisfaction improved significantly following the experiential training group. The foci of promoting an awareness of personal resources and identifying personal-fit positive coping strategies in the current group intervention might contribute to the positive results. The present findings have important implications for counsellor educators who have an important role in preparing competent and resilient CITs. The mandatory participation of the CITs as group members in an authentic, feedback experiential training group is recommended in a professional counselling program.

The outcome relies on the clinician's master skills that can be gained only through years of training and practice. In order to improve the quality and reliability of endodontic therapy, an endodontic micro robot is proposed to be built. The objective is to modernize the traditional treatment, moving from a “manual art” to science-based automation. This computer controlled micro machine is mounted on the teeth within patient's mouth. With on-line monitoring and positioning control, the multipurpose micro robot performs automatic treatment procedures, including probing, drilling, filing, cleaning and filling. This article gives an insight to design and applications of the intelligent robotic micro-machine applicable to root canal preparation with on-line monitoring capabilities that will increase the accuracy and efficiency of the treatment.

The first and last studies focused on language service providers’ companies (LSP) while the second offers information on graduates and their training. In this way we aim to show both sides of the situation, which can be summed up in the following way: What are employers looking for and what can the graduates offer?. The results of the research presented seem to indicate that translator education and training is a shared responsibility of universities and LSP in a highly competitive market

A steward of the discipline was originally defined as “someone who will creatively generate new knowledge, critically conserve valuable and useful ideas, and responsibly transform those understandings through writing, teaching, and application”. This construct was articulated to support and strengthen doctoral education. The purpose of this paper is to expand the construct of stewardship so that it can be applied to both scholars and non-academic practitioners, and can be initiated earlier than doctoral education. To accomplish and justify this, we describe a general developmental trajectory supporting cross-curriculum teaching for stewardship of a discipline as well as of a profession. We argue that the most important features of stewardship, comprising the public trust for the future of their discipline or profession, are obtainable by all practitioners, and are not limited to those who have completed doctoral training. The developmental trajectory is defined using the Mastery Rubric construct, which requires articulating the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) to be targeted with a curriculum; recognizable stages of performance of these KSAs; and performance level descriptors of each KSA at each stage. Concrete KSAs of stewardship that can be taught and practiced throughout the career (professional or scholarly) were derived directly from the original definition. We used the European guild structure’s stages of Novice, Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master for the trajectory, and through a consensus-based standard setting exercise, created performance level descriptors featuring development of Bloom’s taxonometric cognitive abilities (see Appendix A) for each KSA. Together, these create the Mastery Rubric for Stewardship (MR-S). The MR-S articulates how stewardly behavior can be cultivated and documented for individuals in any disciplinary curriculum, whether research-intensive (preparing “scholars”) or professional (preparing members of a profession or more generally for the work force). We qualitatively assess the validity of the MR-S by examining its applicability to, and concordance with professional practice standards in three diverse disciplinary examples: (1) History; (2) Statistics and Data Science; and (3) Neurosciences. These domains differ dramatically in terms of content and methodologies, but students in each discipline could either continue on to doctoral training and scholarship, or utilize doctoral or pre-doctoral training in other professions. The MR-S is highly aligned with the practice standards of all three of these domains, suggesting that stewardship can be meaningfully cultivated and utilized by those working in or outside of academia, supporting the initiation of stewardship prior to doctoral training and for all students, not only those who will earn PhDs or be scholars first and foremost. The MR-S can be used for curriculum development or revision in order to purposefully promote stewardship at all levels of higher education and beyond. The MR-S renders features of professional stewardship accessible to all practitioners, enabling formal and informal, as well as self-directed, development and refinement of a professional identity.

Purpose. To determine the impact of exercise modes on the effectiveness of teaching girls aged 14 the cartwheel. Materials and methods. The study participants were 20 girls aged 14. The children and their parents were fully informed about all the features of the study and gave their consent to participate in the experiment. To solve the tasks set, the following research methods were used: study and analysis of scientific and methodological literature; pedagogical observation, timing of training tasks; pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics, discriminant analysis. Results. The study found that statistically significant differences in the number of repetitions were observed in performing all series of training tasks, except the third one (p < 0.05). The girls aged 14 who used the first mode (6 sets 1 time each with a rest interval of 60 s) needed fewer repetitions to master the movements of the first, second, fourth, fifth, and sixth series of tasks (p < 0.05). The girls aged 14 who used the second mode (6 sets 2 times each with a rest interval of 60 s) needed fewer repetitions to master the movements of the third series of tasks (p < 0.05). Conclusions. Discriminant analysis made it possible to determine the impact of the number of repetitions on the effectiveness of developing the cartwheel skill in girls aged 14. Based on the analysis of group centroids, it was found that exercise modes significantly influence the cartwheel skill development in girls aged 14 during physical education classes. The results of classification of the groups show that 100.0 % of the original grouped cases were classified correctly.

This paper presents a seminar concept for the development of communication competence in pre-service vocational education teachers with the aid of video annotations, feedback, and peer microteaching. The seminar is offered within a teacher training program for students taking a master&rsquo;s degree (MEd) in vocational education at the FH M&uuml;nster University of Applied Sciences, Germany, and has been conducted three times. The advantages of the seminar concept are manifold. On the one hand, we create a learning environment in which students individually prepare and conduct five peer microteaching lessons in a row and receive prompt and constructive peer feedback on every performance. On the other hand, the quality of feedback improves so that our students are professional feedback providers by the end of the seminar. The provision of teacher feedback alone does not help our students become successful feedback providers. Nor, given the resources available at the university, is it a realistic alternative in terms of time constraints. In addition, due to recordings, the students gain a better insight into their teaching skills since their lessons can be observed and approached from an outside perspective.

The purpose of the study was to determine the peculiarities of motor skills development in boys aged 14-15. Materials and methods. The study participants were boys aged 14 (n=20) and 15 (n=20). The children and their parents were fully informed about all the features of the study and gave their consent to participate in the experiment. To solve the tasks set, the following research methods were used: study and analysis of scientific and methodological literature; pedagogical observation, timing of training tasks; pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics, discriminant analysis, nearest neighbor analysis. Results. The study made an assumption about a significant influence of the modes of alternating exercise repetitions and the rest interval on the effectiveness of motor skills development in boys aged 14 and 15. The standardized canonical discriminant function coefficients helped to determine age peculiarities and the peculiarities of influence of exercise modes on the effectiveness of motor skills development. They showed that the components of motor fitness are a priority in developing motor skills. The structure canonical discriminant function coefficients indicate the importance of movement control skills for mastering the entire exercise. Conclusions. Discriminant analysis revealed the peculiarities of motor skills development in boys aged 14 and 15, depending on age and exercise modes. With the first exercise mode, boys aged 15 master the first, second, and fourth series of training tasks more quickly. Boys aged 14 – the sixth series (exercise mode: 6 repetitions, rest interval of 60 s). With the second exercise mode, boys aged 14 master the first and fourth series of training tasks more quickly. Boys aged 15 – the second series (exercise mode: 12 repetitions, rest interval of 60 s). The coordinates of centroids for four groups indicate a significant difference in the influence of exercise repetition modes on the number of repetitions required for motor skills development in boys aged 14-15 during physical education classes. The results of group classification show that 87.5% of the original grouped cases were classified correctly.

The article reveals the peculiarities of using the acmeological approach as a theoretical and methodological basis for modeling the process of higher school teachers training in the conditions of a master’s degree course. It has been noted that acmeology in the process of studying the patterns and mechanisms of development of the future teacher during the period of study at a master’s degree course, allows to adjust the curricula and programs for the preparation of masters – future teachers of higher educational institutions, for the goal of their individual development as professionals and personalities. The conditions for the professional development of future higher school teachers in the conditions of the master’s degree course have been stated. Among them are the development of the future sphere, the improvement of the educational process under the master’s program, the innovative nature of the master’s degree studies, and the model of the organization of education. The acmeological model of the professional development of the teacher of higher school in the conditions of the a master’s degree course has been built, which makes it possible to trace the direct connection between the stages of the development of his professionalism: professional self-knowledge, professional self-education, professional self-development and professional self-improvement with the need of s master degree student to aspire to «acme» tops. From the positions of the acmeological approach it is proved that the training of teachers of higher school in the conditions of the master’s degree course is a dynamic system that is constantly evolving, changing, acquiring new personal and individual psychological characteristics allowing the future teacher to have wide opportunities for social and professional adaptation.

Recently, we documented age-related attenuation of efferent drive to contracting skeletal muscle. It remains elusive if this indication of reduced muscle strength is present with lifelong strength training. For this purpose, we examined evoked potentials in the calf muscles of 11 [71 ± 4 (SD) yr] strength-trained master athletes (MA) contrasted with 10 (71 ± 4 yr) sedentary (SO) and 11 (73 ± 6 yr) recreationally active (AO) old subjects, as well as 9 (22 ± 2 yr) young controls. As expected, MA had higher leg press maximal strength (MA, 185 ± 32 kg; AO, 128 ± 15 kg; SO, 106 ± 11 kg; young, 147 ± 22 kg, P < 0.01) and rate of force development (MA, 5,588 ± 2,488 N/s; AO, 2,156 ± 1,100 N/s; SO, 2,011 ± 825 N/s; young, 3,663 ± 1,140 N/s, P < 0.05) than the other groups. MA also exhibited higher musculus soleus normalized V waves during maximal voluntary contractions (MVC) [maximal V wave amplitude/maximal M wave during MVC (Vsup/Msup); 0.28 ± 0.15] than AO (0.13 ± 0.06, P < 0.01) and SO (0.11 ± 0.05, P < 0.01), yet lower than young (0.45 ± 0.12, P < 0.01). No differences were apparent between the old groups in H reflex recorded at rest or during MVC [maximal H reflex amplitude/maximal M wave during rest (Hmax/Mmax); maximal H reflex amplitude during MVC/maximal M wave during MVC (Hsup/Msup)], and all were lower ( P < 0.01) than young. MA (34.4 ± 2.1 ms) had shorter ( P < 0.05) H reflex latency compared with AO (36.4 ± 3.7 ms) and SO (37.3 ± 3.2 ms), but longer ( P < 0.01) than young (30.7 ± 2.0 ms). Using interpolated twitch analysis, MA (89 ± 7%) had plantar flexion voluntary activation similar to young (90 ± 6%), and this was higher ( P < 0.05), or tended to be higher ( P = 0.06–0.09), than SO (83 ± 10%) and AO (84 ± 5%). These observations suggest that lifelong strength training has a protective effect against age-related attenuation of efferent drive. In contrast, no beneficial effect seems to derive from habitual recreational activity, indicating that strength training may be particularly beneficial for counteracting age-related loss of neuromuscular function.

The aim of this study was to explore the description of the migraine attack of Pontius Pilate (a character in the novel The Master and Margarita by M. A. Bulgakov). Some of its features are analysed in light of current migraine literature. It is hypothesized that, at least in part, this description is based on the personal experience of the novel's author. We studied and analysed the text of the novel, other works by Bulgakov, his biography, including his medical training and practice, and the recently published diaries of Bulgakov and his wife E. S. Bulgakova. The novel contains a comprehensive description of a migraine attack. It includes a prodrome/aura of osmophobia. Olfactory perception during or shortly before the migraine attack is altered to the point where neutral or even pleasant odours become unbearable. Bulgakov's extensive history of migraines is seen in his diary, the diary of his wife, letters and other literary works. This is one of the most detailed and extensive depictions of a migraine attack in literature, with osmophobia described with great emphasis. It is likely that Pilate's migraine is described based on the personal history of the novel's author.

In the article, the concept of readiness for professional career growth of postgraduate students majoring in 011 Educational, Pedagogical Sciences has been defined. The principles of training postgraduate students of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education have been revealed. They are: "flexibility"; the relationship between labour and vocational training; the unity of professional competences, interest and practical orientation; the integrity of education. A typical career trajectory was presented in three variants. The article proved that the analysis of motives for professional growth begins at the stage of admission to postgraduate courses. An appropriate place in the content of postgraduates’ training is given to the disciplines ensuring the development of universal basic skills (soft skills): "Academically and professionally oriented communication (“English / German / French / Ukrainian / Russian)", "Grant and Project Activities", "World Development and Domestic Pedagogical Thought". The development of universal skills of the researcher is provided by disciplines of applicants’ free choice ("Theoretical Foundations of Didactic Research", "Current Issues of Comparative Research", "History of Pedagogy as a Science and Direction of Pedagogical Research", etc.). The training for further career growth is closely related to the introduction of innovative technologies within general, active and interactive teaching methods (modelling of professional situations, role-playing games, storytelling, case study method, elements of cooperative learning) (group practical tasks), discussion, master class, etc.). A proper place in the educational process is given to research and teaching (pedagogical) practice. The university is working to form a "feedback" system with graduates and leading employers in the field of higher education. In particular, the Association of Alumni, a network of clubs alongside creative and sports teams were created. The membership in the Council of Young Scientists, which operates at the university, is an incentive for career growth in scientific activity.

Purpose. From July 1 to July 16, 2019, a base of the West Siberian archaeological detachment of IAE SB RAS in the Vengerovsky District of the Novosibirsk Region became the venue for the field archaeological school “Multidisciplinary research of the Paleometal era multilayer archaeological assemblages”. The school was organized for students, graduate students and young scientists from Novosibirsk State University, Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, Tomsk State University, Tyumen State University, Altai State Pedagogical University, and Siberian Federal University. Results. As part of the school, students attended nine lectures and participated in four master classes and workshops. The lectures were given by experts of the IAE SB RAS, namely academician V. I. Molodin, doctor of history L. N. Mylnikova, candidate of history I. A. Durakov, candidate of history N. S. Efremova, candidate of history L. S. Kobeleva, candidate of history M. S. Nesterova, candidate of history D. V. Selin. The listeners got acquainted with modern approaches and methods of excavating multilayer archaeological assemblages of the Paleometal era, methods of analyzing the data obtained and interdisciplinary methods for studying archaeological artifacts. Special master classes and participation in the excavation of the sites took place at two multilayer sites Tartas-1 and the burial ground Ust-Tartassky mounds (settlement Karier-Tai-1). Conclusion. The students were exposed to various stages of site studies, such as sampling the horizons of the cultural layer, disassembling objects made for various purposes (pits, burials, foci, ditches), etc. University students obtained advanced training diplomas and certificates of completing a field course.

In writing scientific work, a work system is needed online (online) so that the search process is fast and accurate. The online data-based writing model with endnote application is an alternative model of scientific writing that can be applied to school teacher teachers and lecturers. The purpose of this study was to develop a model of scientific writing and measure the effectiveness of its application to MGMP Chemistry teachers in Padang Panjang City. The method used is the development of the ADDIE model and the success test with CV (Coefficient of Variations). Implementation is carried out on all Chemistry teacher teachers who are members of the Padangpanjang City Chemical MGMP. Each teacher will receive training and assistance in creating an Online Library as a database. The training continued with the application of the preparation of scientific works based on student learning outcomes data in each school. From the results of the study, it was found that the level of ease in literacy and compilation of scientific work reached 70% SS and 30% S. The level of interest of Master in compiling scientific work with Endnote reached 30%. SS san 70% S. The desire of participants to start compiling scientific work reaches 20% US, 60% S and 20% SS. The training effectiveness test found that the coefficient of variation had decreased from 2.75% to 1.63%, so it could be concluded that the model for the preparation of scientific work was successfully applied to the Teachers of the Padangpanjang Chemical MGMP.

Teachers should be engaged in and develop by themselves professional network communities, to employ teleconferencing technologies, to participate in various thematic forums and social networks in order to involve their colleagues in the process of professional self-improvement, to initiate various ways of pedagogical interaction, based on various types of communications, personal contacts etc. One of the primary tasks, aimed at ensuring the innovative features of education in this country for the period up to 2020, would be to establish the system of continuous education, training and retraining of educators and professional development of post-graduates, �yesterday�s students�.
