Анотація:

The question of the structural types of phraseological units was considered as on the material of the Caucasian languages. As for the Dagestan languages, there are works that raise questions of structural and grammatical analysis and the structural model of phraseological units. Phraseological units of the Avar (Magomedkhanov M.M., Khangereev M.-B.D.-G. and others, information about which will follow below), Lezghian (Gyulmagomedov A.G.; Ramaldanov A.R.), Rutul (Makhmudova S.M.) Agul (Suleimanov N., Hasanova S.N.) languages. The analysis of the structures of phraseological units, with a few exceptions (except for those structures of phraseological units that have undergone deformation), retain the syntactic model of that phrase (less often the syntactic model of a sentence) from which they were formed. A variety of structural types of phraseological units noted by experts.

Анотація:

The author of this article shortly describes the philosophical aspects of the thought of Hasan Alqadari. A Lezghian Sunni Muslim scholar Hasan Alqadari (1834–1910) is widely regarded as one of the prominent and impressive jurist and historian in Imperial Russia’s Caucasian Dagestan region. Contemporary Islamic scholars present him as Shafi‘i jurist, historian, teacher and enlightener. This article sets out to reconsider Hasan Alqadari’s legacy and to study his representative writings such as Divan alMamnun and Djirab al- Mamnun that allow rethinking Hasan Alqadari as a Muslim thinker. It demonstrates that Hasan Alqadari developed ideas on philosophical issues and topics. The article analyzes those ideas of Hasan Alqadari that he considered the most important for Muslim community. It examines his philosophical and social views and ethical thought. The author outlines specific directions for future research on Hasan Alqadari’s legacy.

The article analyzes the functional specificity of the metaphor in folk proverbs and sayings of the Lezghins. On the subject-figurative level, Lezghin paremias are characterized by frequent use of metaphor and metaphorical images. Metaphor, with its meaningfulness, best copes with the artistic features of this genre, which requires laconicism and brevity of presentation.

Анотація:

The paper deals with the question of the role and significance of service parts of speech both in Lezghin and Russian parts of bilingual Lezghin-Russian dictionary. Prepositions, unions, particles, as well as service morphemes, prefixes and endings play no less important role in lexicography than significant parts of speech. Interference phenomena in Dagestan linguistics affect all language levels both in oral and written forms. The root cause of this phenomenon is the diversity of languages. The following factual and logical examples from the hand-written version of the Lezghin-Russian dictionary that we are editing clearly demonstrate the phenomena of interference in the service parts of speech, inadequate translations into Russian that cannot take place in lexicographical works.

Анотація:

The article is devoted to the analysis of the variability of Lezghi folk proverbs and sayings. We consider the features of the phenomenon of variability in the aphoristic genre of Lezghins. Particular attention is paid to cases of variation and interchange, since variability is one of the main conditions for the existence of folklore works. The purpose of the work is to indicate and designate not only similarities, but also differences in the corpus of proverbial variants, which will allow us to first systematically and typologically describe the variability of the aphoristic genre. The paremiological fund of Lezghins presents traditional versions of proverbs and sayings. One of the main distinguishing features of proverbs, along with tradition, is variability and variability. It is noted that the variability of a number of proverbs can be correlated with the semantics of words and the types of their transformation. It is proved that the variants preserve the compositional-semantic integrity of the verbal unit. To establish structural patterns in specific variants, it is necessary to have a theoretically substantiated idea of the variation processes. It is possible to build a typology of variability only if one has a large corpus of factual material. The material of the study was proverbs and sayings from dictionaries and folklore collections. Considered more 15 000 proverbs were examined, from which the corresponding samples were extracted by the method of continuous sampling. We divided proverbs and sayings into separate groups based on their logical structure. We have analyzed the following forms of proverbial transformation: contamination and rethinking of the informative part, as well as reduction (reduction, truncation) and expansion (strengthening) of the constituent part. The proposed analysis can be considered as a statement of the problem that requires further more thorough development.

Выявляются и анализируются пословицы и поговорки, отражающие концепт «красота» в русской, английской, немецкой и лезгинской лингвокультурах. Материалом исследования послужили паремии разноструктурных языков. Выбор пословиц и поговорок в качестве материала для исследования обусловлен недостаточной изученностью паремий исследуемых языков с точки зрения выявления семантики лексических компонентов, экспрессивно-оценочных и выразительных средств, а также образной основы данных единиц. Целью исследования является выявление общих и разных составляющих концепта «красота» в русской, английской, немецкой и лезгинской лингвокультурах. Методика исследования основана на сравнительно-сопоставительном семантическом анализе, методе сплошной выборки и лингвокультурном анализе. Исследование показало, что в исследуемых культурах совпадает представление о красоте как о чем-то ярком, бросающемся в глаза; о скоротечности красоты; о важности других качеств человека (трудолюбие, порядочность, ум). Также было выявлено, что во всех исследуемых лингвокультурах противопоставляются красота и ум. Также русские отмечают, что красота редкое явление и часто отождествляют ее с молодостью. Стремление англичан к аккуратности, чистоте находит отражение в языковой картине мира и перекликается с темой красоты. В представлении лезгин красота влечет несчастья, также лезгины не гонятся за внешней красотой. Немцы считают, что красота может быть предметом гордости и важна для женщин, а также полагают, что красота не гарантирует счастливую жизнь. Proverbs and sayings reflecting the concept of “beauty” in Russian, English, German and Lezghin linguocultures are identified and analyzed. The research material included paroemias of languages of different structures. The choice of proverbs and sayings as a material for research is due to insufficient knowledge of the paroemias of the studied languages in terms of identifying the semantics of lexical components, expressive-evaluative and expressive means, as well as the figurative basis of these units. The aim of the study is to identify common and different components of the concept of "beauty" in Russian, English, German and Lezghin linguistic cultures. The research methodology is based on comparative semantic analysis, continuous sampling and linguocultural analysis. The research shows that the studied cultures have the same idea of beauty as something bright, striking; about the transience of beauty; about the importance of other human qualities (hard work, decency, intelligence). In all the studied linguocultures, beauty and mind are opposed. Also, Russians note that beauty is a rare phenomenon and often equate it with youth. The desire of the British for neatness, cleanliness is reflected in the linguistic picture of the world and resonates with the theme of beauty. In the view of Lezghins, beauty entails misfortune, and Lezgins also do not pursue external beauty. The Germans believe that beauty can be a source of pride and importance for women, and they also believe that beauty does not guarantee a happy life.

Анотація:

The article touches on the problem of conditional character of nomination of the terms “participle” and “past verbal form” in verbal paradigms of Lezghin and English. By their prehistory, “participle” and “past verbal form” are transposits of the verb. Semantic structures of the past verbal form in Lezghin (with -z) and English Participle I (with - ing ), with the exception of root morphemes and word-changing affix of imperfectiveness, contain nothing else. We can call them authentic definitions, taking into account form-building status of the categories of tense/aspect, represented in these languages. They are just forms of the aspect and nothing else.

Анотація:

The clinical characteristics of persons of Talysh and Lezghin nationalities who committed suicide attempts and were hospitalized in this regard in a psychiatric hospital are analyzed. It was established that among the suicides of the Talysh nationalities the largest were the shares of people who had suicidal actions in response to severe stress and adaptation disorders, as well as organic mental disorders (32,4% each). Significantly less frequent were patients with personality and behavior disorders - 13,7% (χ2=8,96; p=0,003), schizophrenia, schizotypic and delusional disorders - 8,8% (χ2=15,86; p0,001). Among the psychiatric disorders, the psychiatric hospital of the Lezghin nationality was dominated by organic mental disorders (27,7%) among suicidal patients. Less common were personality and behavioral disorders at a young age of18,5% (χ2=1,08; p=0,29); schizophrenia, schizotypic and delusional disorders - 15.4% (χ2=2,23; p=0,135) and psychiatric and psychiatric substance abuse disorders - 12,3% (χ2=3,89; p=0,048). Officers of the Talysh and Lezghin nationalities resorted to poisoning with equal frequency - 82,1 and 81,8%, less often - firearms - 13,4% (χ2=92,7; p0,001) and 13,7% (χ2=89, 9; p0,001); hanging - 4,5% (χ2=117,5; p0,001). Talysh rank and file officers often chose hanging and poisoning- 42,9 and 40%; less often they caused gunshot injuries - 17,1% (χ2=4,35; p=0,036). Lezgin’s soldiers used gunshot wounds more often - 42,9%, less often poisoning - 33,3% (χ2=0,1; p=0,75) and hanging - 23,8% (χ2=0,32; p=0,96). In general, the incidence of suicides in mentally ill patients depends on the combination of the following factors: the prevalence rate of suicides in the general population; ethnicity of patients; level of organization and access to psychiatric care. Various combinations of these factors determine the prevalence of suicide among patients with mental disorders.

Анотація:

The topicality and novelty of this article, devoted to the device of stylistic contrast, are predetermined by its rather poor study, as well as by the approach to its investigation from the angle of translation theory and comparative linguistics. The material of the research includes the examples of stylistic contrast selected from literary texts in the Lezghin language and their translations into Russian, Russian-language literary texts and their translations into the Lezghin language. The work is based on the semantico-stylistic and comparative methods, the method of linguistic description of a literary text, elements of linguoculturological and conceptual analysis, as well as the specific methods of translation studies (comparison of the translation and the original, comparison of various translations, questionnaire of informants, educational translation, an experiment). The results of the research consist in clarifying the proceeding interpretation of stylistic contrast, as well as in identifying the difficulties that translators face when transmitting it in a literary text, and indicating the algorithm for overcoming them. They can be used in the courses of Stylistics, Text Linguistics, Translation Theory and Practice, etc., as well as in the development of the translation direction in the Dagestani linguistics, which needs practical developments and theoretical generalizations.

Анотація:

The article is devoted to the linguistic consideration of the degree of adequacy of Lezgin words and phrases translated into Russian in Lezgin lexicography. This problem is one of the main ones in Dagestan lexicographic bilingualism. The importance and value of a correct translation is confirmed by the illustrated material presented in the article. In tabular form from the Lezghin-Russian dictionary edited by us, cases of inaccurate, incorrect, and sometimes absolutely unacceptable translation from both the semantic and stylistic sides in both parts of the dictionary are demonstrated. In the process of editing, the vocabulary of the dictionary was significantly replenished with new lexemes, and dictionary entries inside with new values. We have included new anthroponyms and toponyms in the dictionary as additional meanings after the main common nouns, and also introduced many new proverbs, sayings, riddles, confirming the meaning of a particular word. The words given in the tables with colons are the head entries of the dictionary. In this article, we give only a few examples of inaccuracies and inaccuracies that took place in the dictionary both in significant and in official parts of speech.

Анотація:

The article deals with literary riddles and their role in the educational process. Currently, in the teaching methodology, the questions of working on a folk riddle are most fully developed, while the methodology of working on a literary riddle is studied only in separate works. Therefore, the main attention in our work is devoted to the study of literary riddles, their types and methods of correct solving. The use of various types of literary riddles in the educational process, along with folk riddles, allows to build a consistent system of working on riddles in elementary school. We have attempted to reproduce a generalized classification of Lezghin literary riddles, including a methodological aspect. The proposed classification, in combination with the thematic classification, expands the teacher's opportunities in preparing for work with the puzzle in lessons and extracurricular activities. It has been proven that the use of all types of riddles, especially riddles with comparison and metaphorical riddles, contributes to the development of imagery and metaphorical speech of younger schoolchildren, allows to consciously introduce literary examples, figurative expressions into children's speech, to inculcate the habit of using metaphors in speech. It is indicated that guessing riddles is an important stage in the development of a child.

Анотація:

В статье рассматривается концепция российского востоковеда и дипломата Владимира Федоровича Минорского (1877–1966) по поводу происхождения этнонима «лезгин». Критический анализ, проведенный с привлечением дополнительных источников, показывает необоснованность предложенной В. Ф. Минорским версии. Также сделана попытка более подробного исследования этнонимики лезгин с учетом временных отрезков и исторических обстоятельств фиксирования в историографии различных этнонимов, которыми обозначали лезгин. В результате проведенного автором исследования выявились новые взаимосвязи между этнонимами. В частности, удалось установить исконную историческую форму этнонима, которая не отличалась от современного самоназвания лезгин. The article examines the concept of Vladimir F. Minorsky regarding the origin of the ethnonym “Lezgin”. A critical analysis involving additional sources challenges the version proposed by V. F. Minorsky. An attempt was also made to study the ethnonymy of Lezgins in more detail, taking into account the time periods and historical circumstances when particular ethnonyms that denote Lezgins were recorded. The study revealed new relationships between ethnonyms. In particular, the original historical form of the ethnonym was identified, which did not differ from the modern self‑name of the Lezghins.

Анотація:

This article attempts to examine the meaning and the form of the category of comparison. The paper describes the existing scientific approaches to the category of comparison, characterizes the structural, semantic and stylistic features of stable comparisons in the Russian, English and Lezghi languages. It is established that stable comparisons in the studied languages, as a special category of phraseological constructions, are thematically diverse and are used to characterize the actions of a human, objects, situations, phenomena of the reality. It was found that stable comparative expressions in the studied languages are built according to similar models and have a two-component structure. It has been established that the object of comparison can be a noun denoting phenomenon of nature, animals, birds, as well as a substance, metal, mineral or food product.
