Cet article s’intéresse au rôle des administrations dans la mise en œuvre du droit au logement et dans la distribution inégale des chances et des délais d’attente pour l’accès au logement social. À l’image de ce que l’on observe depuis plusieurs années à l’entrée de l’enseignement supérieur, le placement des candidat·es au logement social s’opère aujourd’hui dans un champ toujours plus segmenté : diversification des filières, foisonnement de labels et de critères de priorisation, développement d’« itinéraires bis » pensés comme temporaires, multiplication des dispositifs d’accompagnement, etc. À l’appui d’un suivi statistique de 696 familles sans domicile hébergées à l’hôtel à Paris, cette enquête montre que l’inflation des labellisations « prioritaires » a engendré une spécialisation et une hiérarchisation entre les files d’attente dites « prioritaires » à l’entrée du parc social. Elle révèle de surcroît que toute sortie de la file d’attente se paye au prix d’une relégation durable dans la compétition. L’auto-élimination des candidat·es enregistre en premier lieu le poids exorbitant du capital économique dans le tri des prétendant·es. Elle affecte singulièrement les familles sans domicile les plus éloignées de l’emploi, mais aussi celles qui détiennent un petit capital social leur permettant de trouver d’autres portes de sortie chez des tiers ou dans le parc privé. L’article met, par ailleurs, en évidence le poids des stratégies de placement élaborées par les agent·es du guichet qui appartiennent, dans leur grand majorité, aux classes moyennes salariées du public. Les délais d’attente sont prescrits aux candidat·es en fonction d’attendus moraux mais aussi de stéréotypes sociaux. Pris dans leur ensemble, ces mécanismes de tri contribuent à la stratification interne aux classes populaires et à la redistribution inégalitaire dans l’espace résidentiel d’individus partageant pourtant, initialement, un certain degré de proximité sociale.

Анотація:
The functional classification of buildings is important for creating and managing urban zones and assisting government departments. Building function recognition is incredibly valuable for wide applications ranging from the determination of energy demand. By aiming at the topic of urban function classification, a semi-supervised graph structure network combined unified message passing model was introduced. The data of this model include spatial location distribution of buildings, building characteristics and the information mined from points of interesting (POIs). In order to extract the context information, each building was regarded as a graph node. Building characteristics and corresponding POIs information were embedded to mine the building function by the graph convolutional neural network. When training the model, several node labels in the graph were masked, and then these labels were predicted by the trained model so that this work could take full advantage of the node label and the feature information of all nodes in both the training and prediction stages. Quasi-experiments proved that the proposed method for building function classification using multi-source data enables the model to capture more meaningful information with limited labels, and it achieves better function classification results.

Building function labelling plays an important role in understanding human activities inside buildings. This study develops a method of function label classification using integrated features derived from remote sensing and crowdsensing data with an extreme gradient boosting tree (XGBoost). The classification framework is verified based on a dataset from Shenzhen, China. An extended label system for six building types (residential, commercial, office, industrial, public facilities, and others) was applied, and various social functions were considered. The overall classification accuracies were 88.15% (kappa index = 0.72) and 85.56% (kappa index = 0.69). The importance of features was evaluated using the occurrence frequency of features at decision nodes. In the six-category classification system, the basic building attributes (22.99%) and POIs (46.74%) contributed most to the classification process; moreover, the building footprint (7.40%) and distance to roads (11.76%) also made notable contributions. The result shows that it is feasible to extract building environments from POI labels and building footprint geometry with a dimensional reduction model using an autoencoder. Additionally, crowdsensing data (e.g., POI and distance to roads) will become increasingly important as classification tasks become more complicated and the importance of basic building attributes declines.

Un croisement de poulets de chair de type Label "Cou nu" et un croisement de type commercial standard ont été testés tous deux dans des conditions d’élevage courantes au Maroc, d’une part en saison d’hiver (éclosion le 19/01/90), de l’autre en saison chaude (éclosion le 05/06/90). La croissance, l’efficacité alimentaire et la mortalité ont été relevées jusqu’à l’âge de 70 jours dans le premier cas, de 49 jours dans le second. Les performances de croissance des deux croisements, comme prévisible, ont été très différentes. L’effet dépressif de la saison chaude sur le poids corporel et l’efficacité alimentaire a été moins marqué pour le type "Label", qui a présenté par ailleurs une très faible mortalité aux deux saisons. D’autre part, un croisement expérimental de type "pondeuse à oeufs bruns" réunissant les gènes "nanisme lié au sexe" (dw) et "Cou nu" (Na) a été testé pour des performances de production d’oeufs dans des conditions d’élevage courantes au Maroc, en même temps qu’un croisement "ponte" commercial , également de type "oeuf brun" (ISA-Brown). La persistance de ponte et le poids moyen des oeufs du croisement expérimental ont été inférieurs à ceux du croisement commercial. Par contre, le poids corporel et la consommation alimentaire plus faibles du croisement expérimental ont contribué à réduire le désavantage de ce type génétique pour l’efficacité alimentaire. Le taux de ponte a été légèrement favorable au croisement "naines Cou nu" jusqu’à l’âge de 35 semaines, probablement du fait d’une bonne thermotolérance associée aux gènes dw et Na. Les données suggèrent une moindre mortalité pour ce même croisement après l’âge de 40 semaines.

Gunung Anyar Tambak is one of the villages that is located adjacent to the UPN "Veteran" campus in East Java. Most (2/3) of the Gunung Anyar Tambak area is the pond area, which has the main yield is milkfish. Besides being sold in fresh form, milkfish from ponds from Gunung Anyar Tambak are also processed into a variety of processed products including shredded, crackers, soft thorns and milkfish “sapit”. Milkfish “Sapit” is a processed milkfish which is unique in its serving. The milkfish are clamped using bamboo stems and then processed using a choice of spices that make a distinctive taste in this dish. Processing by burning, causing a distinctive aroma that is not forgotten. Barokah is one of the community groups of “sapit” milkfish processing in RW I of Gunung Anyar Tambak Village which consists of 6 people. Chairman of UD. Barokan is Hj's. Khasibah, explained that most of the milkfish produced are only fulfilling orders from the surrounding area and orders from outside the city to be used as souvenirs typical of Surabaya. From observations and interviews it is known that the problem in processing milkfish is a very simple packaging that is a very thin plastic bag that is not closed. The second problem is that the packaging has no labeling at all, even though the label can identify the identity of the product in the package. The importance of labels on food products in addition to being the identity of the packaged product is also a communication between producers and consumers. Therefore a very absolute label must be given to the marketed food products. Training has been conducted on packaging and labeling milkfish “sapit” in UD. BAROKAH, Gunung Anyar Tambak, Surabaya. Before being packed with a vacuum packer, milkfish saplings are first dried in a cabinet dryer for 3 hours at 60°C. Labeling on milkfish packaging is in accordance with the law on food labeling on primary (plastic) and secondary (carton) packaging. In addition to providing training, our team also donates dryers and Vacuum Sealers.

Анотація:
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is an active microwave sensor with all-day/night and all-weather detection capability, which is crucial for detecting surface water resources. Surface water-body such as rivers, lakes, reservoirs, and ponds usually appear as dark areas in SAR images. Accurate and automated extraction of these water bodies can provide valuable data for the management and strategic planning of surface water resources and effectively help prevent and control drought and flood disasters. However, most deep learning-based methods rely on manually labeled samples for model training and testing, which is inefficient and may introduce errors. To address this problem, this paper proposes a novel water-body detection method that combines optimization algorithms and deep learning techniques to automate water-body label extraction and improve the accuracy of water-body detection. First, this paper uses a swarm intelligence optimization algorithm, Dung Beetle Optimizer (DBO), to optimize the initial cluster center of the K-means clustering algorithm, which is called the DBO-K-means (DK) method. The DK method divides the training images into four categories and extracts the water bodies in them to generate the water-body labels required for deep learning model training and testing, and the whole process does not require human intervention. Then, the labels generated by DK and training data set images are fed into the Classifier–Optimizer (CO) for training. The classifier performs a dense classification task at the pixel level, resulting in an initial result image with blurred boundaries of the water body. Then, the optimizer takes this preliminary result image and the original SAR image as input, performs fine-grained optimization on the preliminary result, and finally generates a result image with a clear water-body boundary. Finally, we evaluated the accuracy of water-body detection using multiple performance indicators including ACC, precision, F1-Score, recall, and Kappa coefficient. The results show that the values of all indicators exceed 93%, which demonstrates the high accuracy and reliability of our proposed water-body detection method. Overall, this paper presents a novel DK-based approach that improves the automation and accuracy of deep learning methods for detecting water bodies in SAR images by enabling automatic sample extraction and optimization of deep learning models.

A rotulagem de gêneros alimentícios constitui uma importante ferramenta de comunicação entre o setor alimentar e os consumidores, permitindo não somente fornecer informações dos produtos, como também ajudar na garantia da sua segurança. Desse modo, o objetivo deste estudo foi descrever o levantamento das não conformidades da rotulagem de ovos e de mel de supermercados de Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul. Tratou-se de um estudo descritivo, no qual se avaliaram 24 rótulos selecionados aleatoriamente de mel e de ovos, considerando os seguintes critérios: identificação do produto, segurança sanitária, qualidade técnica do rótulo, qualidade de informação e informação sobre o atendimento ao consumidor. Os resultados foram analisados de forma descritiva, estimando-se frequências simples das variáveis do estudo por tipo de alimento. Verificou-se que todos os rótulos atendiam a legislação em vigor ao que diz respeito à identificação do produto e à qualidade técnica do rótulo. Nos demais critérios foram encontrados não conformidades, sendo as principais as que dizem respeito ao armazenamento e conservação e informações sobre o atendimento ao consumidor. Os autores consideram que os rótulos dos produtos analisados, de modo geral, apresentaram qualidade sanitária satisfatória, pois os aspectos que apresentaram maior percentual de inconformidades não devem ser considerados de risco para a saúde do consumidor. AbstractFood labeling is an important communication tool between the food industry and consumers, allowing not only to provide product information but also to assist in ensuring its safety. Thus, the objective of this study was to describe the nonconformities of eggs and honey labeling from supermarkets in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. This was a descriptive study, in which 24 randomly honey and eggs selected labels were evaluated, considering the following criteria: product identification, health safety, the lable technical quality, quality of information and information on customer service. The results were analyzed in a descriptive way, estimating simple frequencies of the study variables by type of food. It was found that all labels complied with the legislation in force regarding the product identification and the label technical quality. In the other criteria, nonconformities were found, the main ones being those related to storage and conservation and information on consumer service. The authors consider that the labels of the analyzed products, in general, presented satisfactory sanitary quality, since the aspects that presented greater percentage of nonconformities should not be considered of risk to the consumer health. In new-tier cities with rapid urbanization, the reorganization of urban spatial functions and the development of road networks have brought novel challenges to traffic congestion control. Urban land use patterns have a significant correlation with urban traffic congestion. However, whether and how land use patterns of cities close to the roads affect road congestion is less to be discussed. This article investigated the relationship between land use patterns close to the urban trunk road network and traffic congestion in new tier cities Xi’an, China. We adopted the DBSCAN algorithm to cluster POIs and use the mixed POI clusters to label the socio-economic functions of roads. We found the spatial heterogeneity of POIs on the trunk road network and identified the impacts of the scales and types of POI on road congestion based on the empirical analysis. Compared to the POIs as origin and destination of the trips, the POIs as stopover points of the trips cause significantly more road congestion. The POIs with bidirectional flows at entrances/exits are more likely to cause road congestion than the POIs with unidirectional flows. Moreover, the POIs with flexible traffic flows increase road congestion, while the POIs with predicted traffic flows have no statistically significant correlation with road congestion. The results help urban planners to plan the scale, type, and location of POIs close to roads and to optimize the socio-economic functions of roads and alleviate road congestion.

Location-Based Social Networks (LBSNs) contain rich information that can be used to identify and annotate points of interest (POIs). Discovering these POIs and annotating them with this information is not only helpful for understanding the social behavior of users, but it also provides benefits for location recommendations. However, current methods still have some limitations, such as a long annotating time and a low annotating accuracy. In this study, we develop a hybrid method to annotate POIs with meaningful information from LBSNs. The method integrates three patterns: temporal, spatial, and text patterns. Firstly, we present an approach for preprocessing data based on temporal patterns. Secondly, we describe a way to discover POIs through spatial patterns. Thirdly, we build a keyword dictionary for discovering the categories of POIs to be annotated via mining the text patterns. Finally, we integrate these three patterns to label each POI. Taking New York and London as the target areas, we accomplish automatic POI annotation by using Precision, Recall, and F-values to evaluate the effectiveness. The results show that our F-value is 78%, which is superior to that of the baseline method (Falcone's method) at 73% and this suggests that our method is effective in extracting POIs and assigning them categories.

Une action de conservation génétique a été entreprise sur 4 souches de poules créées à la Station INRA du Magneraud en vue d’être utilisées dans des croisements commerciaux mais dont la sélection selon cette optique a été abandonnée en 1977. Leur nom de code et les principales caractéristiques sont les suivantes : M-22, une Wyandotte blanche à crête simple ; M-33, souche synthétique provenant pour moitié de la race Marans ; M-88, souche synthétique à base des races Wyandotte et Rhode-Island et porteuse du gène de nanisme dw ; P-00, une Leghorn blanche à crête en pois et pondant des œufs à coquille bleutée. Le programme de conservation prévoyait une pression de sélection légère et un contrôle détaillé des performances. Pour la sélection, 50 % des poules contrôlées étaient gardées comme reproductrices sur la base du nombre d’œufs commercialisables pondus à l’âge de 42 semaines. Les résultats observés au cours de 5 générations obtenues de 1981 à 1985 sont présentés et discutés dans le présent article. La meilleure pondeuse s’est révélée être la souche P-00, suivie de la souche M-22. Les 2 souches M-22 et M-33, qui avaient des performances de ponte comparables aux souches nanifiées de reproductrices chair commerciales, pourraient être utilisées dans la production d’un poulet de type « label ». La souche M-33, qui donne des œufs à coquille brun foncé, pourrait intéresser tous ceux qui recherchent une coquille très colorée. La souche M-88 présentait le moins bon taux de ponte et le plus fort pourcentage d’oeufs cassés, mais le poids de l’muf était élevé malgré la présence du gène de nanisme. Un effort avait été entrepris pour améliorer la solidité de la coquille de ses aeufs, il faudrait le poursuivre.

Fruit counting and ripeness detection are computer vision applications that have gained strength in recent years due to the advancement of new algorithms, especially those based on artificial neural networks (ANNs), better known as deep learning. In agriculture, those algorithms capable of fruit counting, including information about their ripeness, are mainly applied to make production forecasts or plan different activities such as fertilization or crop harvest. This paper presents the RipSetCocoaCNCH12 dataset of cocoa pods labeled at four different ripeness stages: stage 1 (0–2 months), stage 2 (2–4 months), stage 3 (4–6 months), and harvest stage (>6 months). An additional class was also included for pods aborted by plants in the early stage of development. A total of 4116 images were labeled to train algorithms that mainly perform semantic and instance segmentation. The labeling was carried out with CVAT (Computer Vision Annotation Tool). The dataset, therefore, includes labeling in two formats: COCO 1.0 and segmentation mask 1.1. The images were taken with different mobile devices (smartphones), in field conditions, during the harvest season at different times of the day, which could allow the algorithms to be trained with data that includes many variations in lighting, colors, textures, and sizes of the cocoa pods. As far as we know, this is the first openly available dataset for cocoa pod detection with semantic segmentation for five classes, 4116 images, and 7917 instances, comprising RGB images and two different formats for labels. With the publication of this dataset, we expect that researchers in smart farming, especially in cocoa cultivation, can benefit from the quantity and variety of images it contains.

ObjectiveFor acute cholecystitis, the treatment of choice is laparoscopic cholecystectomy. In mild-to-moderate cases, the use of antibiotic prophylaxis for the prevention of postoperative infectious complications (POICs) lacks evidence regarding its cost-effectiveness when compared with no prophylaxis. In the context of rising antimicrobial resistance, there is a clear rationale for a cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA) to determine the most efficient use of National Health Service resources and antibiotic routine usage.Design16 of 226 patients (7.1%) in the single-dose prophylaxis group and 29 of 231 (12.6%) in the non-prophylaxis group developed POICs. A CEA was carried out using health outcome data from thePerioperative antibiotic prophylaxis in the treatment of acute cholecystitis (PEANUTS II) multicentre, randomised, open-label, non-inferiority, clinical trial. Costs were measured in monetary units using pound sterling, and effectiveness expressed as POICs avoided within the first 30 days after cholecystectomy.ResultsThis CEA produced an incremental cost-effectiveness ratio of −£792.70. This suggests a modest cost-effectiveness of antibiotic prophylaxis being marginally less costly and more effective than no prophylaxis. Three sensitivity analyses were executed considering full adherence to the antibiotic, POICs with increased complexity and break-point analysis suggesting caution in the recommendation of systematic use of antibiotic prophylaxis for the prevention of POICs.ConclusionThe results of this CEA point to greater consensus in UK-based guidelines surrounding the provision of antibiotic prophylaxis for mild-to-moderate cases of acute cholecystitis.

O cloridato de metilfenidato [(dl-treo-metil-2-fenil-2- (2-piperidil) acetato], conhecido como Ritalina é um psicofármaco usado geralmente por pessoas com Transtorno de Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade (TDAH) e com narcolepsia, para o seu tratamento. Por se tratar de um medicamento que age no sistema nervoso liberando noradrenalina e dopamina nas fendas sinápticas, incidindo uma excitação nos receptores pós-sinápticos e altera as funções cognitivas do usuário, o uso off label para melhorar o desempenho cognitivo está sendo cada vez mais comum. Este tipo de medicamento deve ser usado de forma racional, bem como qualquer outra medicação, pois podem causar efeitos adversos e dependência. Em vista do exposto, este estudo objetivou avaliar, por meio da literatura, a forma correta de uso do metilfenidato, o uso indiscriminado, off label e os problemas de saúde que o uso prolongado pode desencadear no usuário, assim como a importância da atenção farmacêutica para um tratamento eficaz com metilfenidato. Para isso, foi realizada uma revisão integrativa da literatura e os artigos para esta revisão foram coletados nos seguintes portais de pesquisa: SciELO, BVS e Lilacs. Após a coleta, foram selecionados 21 estudos para compor os resultados. Foi possível perceber que o uso indiscriminado do cloridrato de metilfenidato tem sido realizado com frequência por muitas pessoas, principalmente por estudantes, podendo levar a complicações sérias e o aparecimento de efeitos adversos graves, principalmente eventos cardiovasculares como taquicardia e hipertensão, transtornos psiquiátricos como depressão, psicose e dependência química, bem como do sistema neurológico como discinesia, contrações musculares involuntárias e espasmos, entre outros.

A proposta de aplicação do princípio da beneficência como fundamentação ao uso de medicamentos off label, no tratamento da COVID-19, parte da necessidade de oferecer ao médico os parâmetros teóricos capazes de fundamentar uma decisão eticamente aceitável, por outro lado o uso indiscriminado de medicamentos off label oferece riscos individuais enormes e sonhos de grandes lucros, com poucos investimentos, para a Big Pharma, configurando estas práticas atuais, necessidade de intervenção da prevenção quaternária, pois a medicalização da sociedade continua a fazer parte do imperialismo sanitário vigente, permitindo a ausência de cuidados com a iatrogenia, bem como, com overdiagnosis, overmedicalization, overtreatment, overscreenings, overinformation, presentes na práxis médica onde a watchful waiting e a demora permitida, constituem velhas formas de atender e cuidar indivíduos e suas famílias.

Cet article est axé sur l’expérience d’un groupe de cultivateurs italiens qui utilisent les pratiques et les méthodes de l’agriculture biologique pour la production du riz. Celle-ci représente encore un phénomène de niche concernant un nombre limité de pionniers. En particulier, notre étude s’intéresse à un réseau informel d’une douzaine de cultivateurs qui partagent une proximité d’identité et de processus. On y relève une très forte confiance relationnelle qui côtoie une confiance institutionnelle donnée par le label biologique et les relations avec une société de distribution bio. Notre approche se fonde sur un cas d’étude associant la méthode de la recherche ethnographique par des observations participantes et la réalisation d’entretiens visant à explorer les processus d’apprentissage collectif, le soutien mutuel et l’autorenforcement au sein de ce groupe très hétérogène. Les résultats de ce projet de recherche participative montrent qu’en matière de recherche agronomique et de recommandations politiques, les agriculteurs peuvent tout à fait prendre leurs responsabilités et avoir un poids décisionnel.

Next Point-of-Interest (POI) recommendation has been proven effective at utilizing sparse, intricate spatial-temporal trajectory data to recommend subsequent POIs to users. While existing methods commonly alleviate the problem of data sparsity by integrating spatial-temporal context information, POI category features, and social relationships, they largely overlook the fact that the trajectory sequences collected in the datasets are often incomplete. This oversight limits the model’s potential to fully leverage historical context. In light of this background, we propose Trajectory Data Augmentation with Uncertainty (TAU) for Next POI Recommendation. TAU is a general graph-based trajectory data augmentation method designed to complete user mobility patterns by marrying uncertainty estimation into the next POI recommendation task. More precisely, TAU taps into the global transition pattern graph to identify sets of intermediate nodes located between every pair of locations, effectively leveraging edge weights as transition probabilities. During trajectory sequence construction, TAU selectively prompts intermediate nodes, chosen based on their likelihood of occurrence as pseudo-labels, to establish comprehensive trajectory sequences. Furthermore, to gauge the certainty and impact of pseudo-labels on the target location, we introduce a novel confidence-aware calibration strategy using evidence deep learning (EDL) for improved performance and reliability. The experimental results clearly indicate that our TAU method achieves consistent performance improvements over existing techniques across two real-world datasets, verifying its effectiveness as the state-of-the-art approach to the task.

O objetivo neste trabalho foi avaliar o desempenho e o rendimento de carcaça e das partes de quatro linhagens de frangos de corte criados em sistemas de confinamento e semiconfinamento. Foram utilizados 1.440 pintos distribuídos em delineamento inteiramente casualisado com esquema fatorial 4 õ 2, composto de quatro linhagens (Ross 308, Máster Griss, Label Rouge e Vermelhão Pesado) e dois sistemas de criação (em confinamento e semiconfinamento), cada um com quatro repetições de 45 aves. Aos 84 dias de idade, foram abatidas quatro aves por repetição, totalizando 128 aves, para avaliação do rendimento de carcaça e das partes. O acesso ao piquete (semiconfinamento) não influenciou o desempenho nem o rendimento de carcaça das linhagens, exceto o rendimento de gordura abdominal, que foi mais baixo nas aves semiconfinadas. Considerando apenas aves das linhagens tipo colonial, a Máster Griss e Vermelhão Pesado tiveram melhores resultados de peso e a Label Rouge, melhor conversão alimentar. Os frangos tipo colonial Máster Griss, Label Rouge e Vermelhão Pesado, em comparação aos da linhagem comercial Ross, apresentaram maior rendimento de partes, exceto de peito e carne de peito, que foram maiores na linhagem Ross. A escolha da linhagem deve ser feita de acordo com o interesse de mercado, pois há diferenças no desempenho e no rendimento de carcaça e das partes.

Ciasihan Village is one of the villages in Pamijahan Sub-District, Bogor Regency. Most of the land is paddy field so that many residents work as farmers. But besides farming, the residents also have ponds for the cultivation of tilapia and carp. At the time of fish harvest, residents sell the fish without being processed so the selling price tends to be low. To increase their income, an effort is needed to increase the added value of the fish by processing it into fish floss. To sell the product, it must be packaged well so it is easy to recognize and use. Based on this background, the empowerment given to the villagers of Ciasihan includes training on making the fish floss and making packaging labels. The purpose of this empowerment is not only to make food more durable, but also to provide a visual identity for the processed food products of Ciasihan Village.

Aligning points of interest (POIs) from heterogeneous geographical data sources is an important task that helps extend map data with information from different datasets. This task poses several challenges, including differences in type hierarchies, labels (different formats, languages, and levels of detail), and deviations in the coordinates. Scalability is another major issue, as global-scale datasets may have tens or hundreds of millions of entities. In this paper, we propose the GeographicaL Entities AligNment (GLEAN) system for efficiently matching large geographical datasets based on spatial partitioning with an adaptable margin. In particular, we introduce a text similarity measure based on the local-context relevance of tokens used in combination with sentence embeddings. We then come up with a scalable type embedding model. Finally, we demonstrate that our proposed system can efficiently handle the alignment of large datasets while improving the quality of alignments using the proposed entity similarity measure.

Abstract. Urban Functional Zone (UFZ) identification facilitates the understanding of urban systems, which are complex and huge, and helps promote sustainable urban development. Existing studies on UFZ identification with Points of Interests (POIs) have focused much on more accurately extracting functional semantics, but ignored the fine delineation of UFZs in the spatial domain. The fine delineation of the spatial units of UFZs is also a key issue in UFZ identification. Since the sizes of UFZs can be different in practice, it is difficult to delineate spatially heterogeneous UFZs on a fixed scale. To solve the issue, a novel multi-scale spatial segmentation method was proposed in this study. Through taking the homogeneous socio-economic attributes of UFZs into account, we firstly generated a number of multi-scale spatial units by computing the mixed degree of POIs types, which reflects the mixed functions of each UFZs, using information entropy. Subsequently, we constructed the urban functional corpus of each spatial unit by measuring the spatial distribution pattern of POIs. The Word2Vec model was employed to obtain the semantic embedding vectors of UFZs, following which we adopted cosine distance-based K-means clustering method to group similar UFZs into one cluster. Finally, the enrichment factor was used to help annotate each functional cluster with a specific label. The UFZ identification results were compared with the Baidu e-maps and Baidu street view images for evaluation, and an accuracy of 82.7% was obtained. This study considering the heterogeneous distribution of POIs supports the fine-grained identification of UFZs, providing reference for urban planning.

The development of glyphosate-resistant canola has provided improved weed-management options for growers, but crop tolerance to glyphosate may be inadequate at later growth stages. In this study, glyphosate-resistant canola 45H28 (RR) was used to determine the effects of glyphosate application timing on yield and yield components at several sites in western Canada. Canola received a single glyphosate applications at the two-leaf, six-leaf, bolting, and early bloom stages and sequential applications at the two-leaf + six-leaf, two-leaf + bolting, and two-leaf + early bloom stages. Contrasts were made between early vs. late, single vs. sequential, and on-label (two to six-leaf stage) vs. off-label (above six-leaf stage). In general, differences between application timings were observed for yield and yield components in 3 of 8 site-yr. Off-label applications of glyphosate (later than six-leaf) significantly decreased yield, seeds per pod, and increased thousand-seed weight and aborted pods in canola at the Lethbridge and St. Albert locations. Increased glyphosate translocation because of adequate, but not excessive, moisture to new growth may have suppressed new seed formation and encouraged pod abortion at the time of application in the 2010 and 2011 seasons. Results from this experiment demonstrate the importance of proper application timing of glyphosate on canola and can help better predict the effects of late applications.

Os medicamentos tem papel fundamental na recuperação e manutenção da saúde, devendo ser seguros, eficazes, de qualidade e acessíveis para o paciente. A consulta farmacêutica aos pacientes pediátricos em uso de medicamentos off-Label cuja utilização se dá de forma diferente da descrita em seu rótulo ou bula, quando se fala em indicação, via de administração, posologia e faixa etária, tem o papel de auxiliar na farmacoterapia, minimizando os erros e as reações adversas ao medicamento indicados por médicos e prevenir problemas relacionados aos medicamentos (PRM’s). A administração de medicamentos de adultos em crianças é uma prática comum que deve ser tratada com cautela, pois a fisiologia da criança é distinta e os riscos de intoxicação são diversos. O objetivo desse estudo foi evidenciar a importância do farmacêutico no acompanhamento farmacoterapêutico à pacientes pediátricos em uso de medicamentos off-Label durante as consultas farmacêuticas. A busca ocorreu no banco de dados da Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS) e no Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SciELO). Para delimitação dos conteúdos foram utilizados critérios de inclusão: artigos disponíveis na íntegra em português e inglês, no período de 2012 a 2021 com acesso gratuito e que tivessem pertinência com tema. Os resultados demonstraram que o farmacêutico é imprescindível no acompanhamento e na orientação dos pacientes que usam medicamentos off-Label, sendo necessária a adequada formação desse profissional sobre a temática. Nesse contexto, o farmacêutico surge como profissional que promove o uso correto dos fármacos em pediatria, contribuindo para uma farmacoterapia segura.

Coastal aquaculture monitoring is vital for sustainable offshore aquaculture management. However, the dense distribution and various sizes of aquacultures make it challenging to accurately extract the boundaries of aquaculture ponds. In this study, we develop a novel combined framework that integrates UNet++ with a marker-controlled watershed segmentation strategy to facilitate aquaculture boundary extraction from fully polarimetric GaoFen-3 SAR imagery. First, four polarimetric decomposition algorithms were applied to extract 13 polarimetric scattering features. Together with the nine other polarisation and texture features, a total of 22 polarimetric features were then extracted, among which four were optimised according to the separability index. Subsequently, to reduce the “adhesion” phenomenon and separate adjacent and even adhering ponds into individual aquaculture units, two UNet++ subnetworks were utilised to construct the marker and foreground functions, the results of which were then used in the marker-controlled watershed algorithm to obtain refined aquaculture results. A multiclass segmentation strategy that divides the intermediate markers into three categories (aquaculture, background and dikes) was applied to the marker function. In addition, a boundary patch refinement postprocessing strategy was applied to the two subnetworks to extract and repair the complex/error-prone boundaries of the aquaculture ponds, followed by a morphological operation that was conducted for label augmentation. An experimental investigation performed to extract individual aquacultures in the Yancheng Coastal Wetlands indicated that the crucial features for aquacultures are Shannon entropy (SE), the intensity component of SE (SE_I) and the corresponding mean texture features (Mean_SE and Mean_SE_I). When the optimal features were introduced, our proposed method performed better than standard UNet++ in aquaculture extraction, achieving improvements of 1.8%, 3.2%, 21.7% and 12.1% in F1, IoU, MR and insF1, respectively. The experimental results indicate that the proposed method can handle the adhesion of both adjacent objects and unclear boundaries effectively and capture clear and refined aquaculture boundaries.

O cloridrato de metilfenidato, também conhecido como Ritalina®, é um fármaco estimulante do sistema nervoso central (SNC) que provoca a aceleração do funcionamento mental e cognitivo. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo investigar a utilização do metilfenidato sem prescrição médica com o intuito de aumento da cognição e também as possíveis causas e efeitos no organismo de estudantes através de pesquisas, especificamente, pretende-se verificar estudos acerca dos efeitos a longo prazo do metilfenidato. O presente estudo foi baseado em pesquisas bibliográficas de artigos publicados entre os anos de 2000 e 2020, em bases de dados como SciELO, PubMed e Google Acadêmico. Foram encontrados quatorze artigos onde são abordados os efeitos adversos relacionados ao uso indiscriminado do cloridrato de metilfenidato por acadêmicos, uso off-label, adição relacionada ao abuso deste fármaco e o mecanismo de ação dos medicamentos psicoativos. Os resultados evidenciaram que nos últimos anos o consumo off-label de psicoestimulantes por estudantes com o intuito de incrementar a função cognitiva vem aumentando, esse tipo de consumo não é aprovado, pois além da eficácia ser contestada, o uso indiscriminado pode ocasionar graves efeitos adversos ao indivíduo. Com isso, ressalta-se que o uso de quaisquer medicamentos, principalmente, psicoestimulantes, devem ser utilizados apenas com acompanhamento médico. Portanto, torna-se necessária a criação de políticas públicas que visem mitigar essa problemática no Brasil.

Water is a vital component of life that exists in a variety of forms, including oceans, rivers, ponds, streams, and canals. The automated methods for detecting, segmenting, and mapping surface water have improved significantly with the advancements in satellite imagery and remote sensing. Many strategies and techniques to segment water resources have been presented in the past. However, due to the variant width and complex appearance, the segmentation of the water channel remains challenging. Moreover, traditional supervised deep learning frameworks have been restricted by the scarcity of water channel datasets that include precise water annotations. With this in mind, this research presents the following three main contributions. Firstly, we curated a new dataset for water channel mapping in the Pakistani region. Instead of employing pixel-level water channel annotations, we used a weakly trained method to extract water channels from VHR pictures, relying only on OpenStreetMap (OSM) waterways to create sparse scribbling annotations. Secondly, we benchmarked the dataset on state-of-the-art semantic segmentation frameworks. We also proposed AUnet, an atrous convolution inspired deep learning network for precise water channel segmentation. The experimental results demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed AUnet model for segmenting using weakly supervised labels, where it achieved a mean intersection over union score of 0.8791 and outperformed state-of-the-art approaches by 5.90% for the extraction of water channels.

Objetivo: Revisar a literatura científica sobre a eficácia e segurança da Hidroxicloroquina (HCQ) no manejo dos pacientes infectados pelo novo coronavírus (SARS-CoV-2), controle da transmissão viral, efeitos adversos e possível uso como profilaxia. Revisão bibliográfica: Observou-se efeito antiviral direto e controle de citocinas em testes in vitro, melhora dos sintomas e diminuição da carga viral em estudos observacionais, nos quadros mais leves da doença. Contudo, divergências no que se refere à segurança do tratamento e a falta de ensaios clínicos randomizados controlados até o momento, não permitem que tal medicamento seja utilizado em larga escala, pois não atendem ao rigor da avaliação da eficácia científica. Considerações finais: São fundamentais ensaios em larga escala de maior impacto científico, a fim de melhor elucidar a eficácia e segurança da HCQ, portanto tem sido recomendada cautela no uso off label desse medicamento para pacientes com COVID-19, a fim de não agravar a condição de saúde.

Nowadays, people choose to travel in their leisure time more frequently, but fixed predetermined tour routes can barely meet people’s personalized preferences. The needs of tourists are diverse, largely personal, and possibly have multiple constraints. The traditional single-objective route planning algorithm struggles to effectively deal with such problems. In this paper, a novel multi-objective and multi-constraint tour route recommendation method is proposed. Firstly, ArcMap was used to model the actual road network. Then, we created a new interest label matching method and a utility function scoring method based on crowd sensing, and constructed a personalized multi-constraint interest model. We present a variable neighborhood search algorithm and a hybrid particle swarm genetic optimization algorithm for recommending Top-K routes. Finally, we conducted extensive experiments on public datasets. Compared with the ATP route recommendation method based on an improved ant colony algorithm, our proposed method is superior in route score, interest abundance, number of POIs, and running time.

Анотація:
Objetivo: demonstrar eficácia da hialuronidase na reversibilidade e segurança no tratamento das complicações do ácido hialurônico (AH). Métodos: trata-se de um estudo retrospectivo que relata o uso da hialuronidase nos principais efeitos indesejáveis e ajustes de resultados estéticos nas intercorrências. Pesquisou-se nas bases Pubmed, Google Acadêmico e Scielo usando a combinação de termos: ((Hyaluronidase[Title/Abstract]) OR (adverse effect[Title/Abstract])) OR (Aesthetics[Title/Abstract]). Resultados: leu-se os títulos e resumos de 112 registros, 46 foram integralmente lidos e 34 foram utilizados na presente revisão de literatura. Os artigos compreenderam o período entre 1978 e 2022. Após criteriosa análise notou que o alvo da aplicação da hialuronidase é a hipercorreção, o efeito Tyndall, os nódulos tardios e em casos extremos: a cegueira. Revisão Bibliográfica: o procedimento estético minimamente invasivo à base de preenchedores com AH apresenta no momento demanda crescente por ser considerado seguro já que tem como antídoto a hialuronidase para tratamento e manejo de efeitos adversos. Conclusão: o AH quando usado em excesso pode causar compressão de vasos adjacentes à região aplicada tendo como consequência isquemia e necrose. A popularidade do AH em grande parte é por existir um antídoto que possibilita a reversão. A hialuronidase é um medicamento seguro e eficaz no manejo de eventos adversos leves de aplicações de AH sem efeitos colaterais graves. Essa enzima que destrói o AH exige cuidados ao ser aplicada, pois destrói tanto o AH em gel quanto o tecido do paciente. A intervenção nas intercorrências diligencia um profissional habilitado para instituir a dosagem da enzima reversora e o plano de aplicação correto. Sugere-se a dose 5UI de hialuronidase para o gel a 20mg/ml ou 10UI para o gel a 25mg/ml. Palavras-chave: ácido hialurônico, hialuronidase, procedimentos estéticos.

Os análogos do GLP-1 são fármacos que mimetizam a ação do peptídeo semelhante ao glucagon 1, um hormônio que regula o metabolismo da glicose. Esses fármacos foram originalmente desenvolvidos para o tratamento do diabetes mellitus tipo 2, mas têm sido utilizados em contextos “off-label”, ou seja, para fins não previstos na bula do medicamento, como a perda de peso. Neste artigo, foi realizada uma revisão da literatura sobre os aspectos relevantes dos análogos do GLP-1, como a eficácia, a segurança, os medicamentos mais conhecidos e os efeitos adversos. Mostramos que, apesar dos benefícios desses fármacos, há uma preocupação significativa com os riscos a longo prazo, que ainda são pouco conhecidos, pois esses tratamentos são relativamente novos e acessíveis no mercado. Entre os efeitos adversos, destacamos quadros depressivos, câncer de tireoide e de pâncreas, e o efeito rebote vivenciado ao interromper o tratamento. Concluímos que é necessário mais pesquisas, mais cuidados e mais atenção à individualidade do paciente. Recomendamos cautela, monitoramento e individualização na tomada de decisão clínica, ponderando os benefícios e os riscos desses análogos.

IntroductionOn 18 May 2020, New York State enacted legislation banning the sale of vaping products with distinguishable flavours (other than tobacco). According to this new statute, vaping products are deemed flavoured if they include a statement, whether expressed or implied, that have distinguishable tastes or aromas other than tobacco. This study aimed to determine how manufacturers responded.MethodsWe collected 555 vaping products from daily vapers (238 preban and 317 postban). We compared preban and postban labelling of products for expressed and implied flavour descriptions, graphics and colours. Flavouring chemicals and concentrations were identified using chromatography methods and were compared preban and postban.ResultsAnalysis of the labels preban and postban did not reveal a change in products with expressed flavoured descriptors (45.8% vs 44.2%) and a minimal decrease in implied descriptors (22.3% vs 14.5%). An increase in products without any descriptors was observed (28.2% vs 37.2%) notably within products from a popular pod brand. The average concentration of eight popular flavourings identified preban was 1.4±2.7 compared with 2.3±3.5 mg/mL (p<0.001) postban. No significant changes between individual flavouring concentrations in the most popular refill solutions and pods were found.ConclusionWhile a majority of products appeared to remain non-compliant, this study suggests that enactment of legislation on vaping products making expressed or implied flavour claims may result in some manufacturer changes to product labelling including removal of flavour descriptors. However, use of flavouring additives in vaping products appeared not to be impacted by the ban.

Many navigation applications take natural language speech as input, which avoids users typing in words and thus improves traffic safety. However, navigation applications often fail to understand a user's free-form description of a route. In addition, they only support input of a specific source or destination, which does not enable users to specify additional route requirements. We propose a SpeakNav framework that enables users to describe intended routes via speech and then recommends appropriate routes. Specifically, we propose a novel Route Template based Bidirectional Encoder Representation from Transformers (RT-BERT) model that supports the understanding of natural language route descriptions. The model enables extraction of information of intended POI keywords and related distances. Then we formalize a template-driven path query that uses the extracted information. To enable efficient query processing, we develop a hybrid label index for computing network distances between POIs, and we propose a branch-and-bound algorithm along with a pivot reverse B-tree (PB-tree) index. Experiments with real and synthetic data indicate that RT-BERT offers high accuracy and that the proposed algorithm is capable of outperforming baseline algorithms.

Aquaculture and salt-culture are relevant economic activities in the Brazilian Coastal Zone (BCZ). However, automatic discrimination of such activities from other water-related covers/uses is not an easy task. In this sense, convolutional neural networks (CNN) have the advantage of predicting a given pixel’s class label by providing as input a local region (named patches or chips) around that pixel. Both the convolutional nature and the semantic segmentation capability provide the U-Net classifier with the ability to access the “context domain” instead of solely isolated pixel values. Backed by the context domain, the results obtained show that the BCZ aquaculture/saline ponds occupied ~356 km2 in 1985 and ~544 km2 in 2019, reflecting an area expansion of ~51%, a rise of 1.5× in 34 years. From 1997 to 2015, the aqua-salt-culture area grew by a factor of ~1.7, jumping from 349 km2 to 583 km2, a 67% increase. In 2019, the Northeast sector concentrated 93% of the coastal aquaculture/salt-culture surface, while the Southeast and South sectors contained 6% and 1%, respectively. Interestingly, despite presenting extensive coastal zones and suitable conditions for developing different aqua-salt-culture products, the North coast shows no relevant aqua or salt-culture infrastructure sign.

Mediterranean ecosystems are subject to the influence of particular climatic conditions characterized by scarcity or irregular rainfall and long dry summer periods. These climatic restrictions generally disturb the vegetation. In order to overcome these problems. The use of pioneer tree species, adapted to climatic hazards, remains the most recommended solution. The carob tree (C.siliqua) is an agro-sylvo-pastoral species with enormous socio-economic and ecological interests. This Mediterranean tree is favourably established in semi-arid and arid areas. For the success of reforestation projects, the management and preservation of this species requires prior assessment and characterization of their variability. This approach is based on multidisciplinary studies involving the analysis of the diversity of agro-morphological, adaptive traits. In this context, the present study aims to explore, using agro-morpho-metric markers of the carob tree in central and north-western Algeria. We use the pods and leaves to identify, label or characterize the different collections or germplasm of the carob tree in the world. This study was carried out on the variability of nine morpho-metric traits related to fruits (pods) and leaves through a comparative study at the level of provenances (Larabaa, BordjBounaama, Aflou, Remchi and Ain Sefra). Carob plants from three contrasting ecotypes of Ceratoniasiliqua (Remchi ecotype from the sub-humid stage, Tissemsilt and BordjBounaama ecotype from the semi-arid stage and Ain Sefra and Aflou ecotype from the arid stage) were subjected to a thorough biometric study of the leaves and pods collected after a field survey in June-July 2013. The results showed the highest mean values for the majority of the traits studied, thus indicating the importance of the provenance factor. Based on the analyses of variance and their decomposition, and depending on the biometric traits studied, the carob resource management strategy can be chosen either for the pod factor (pod weight, pod length, number of seeds per pod and number of infested seeds per pod) or the leaf factor (petiole length and leaf area). In the case of our collections, the longest size was recorded in the Bordj Bounaama population (16.66 cm ± 2.36) and Remchi (16.10 cm ± 2.78) and the smallest in the Aflou population (9.40 cm ± 1, 27). Indeed, a positive correlation between the measured parameters (length, width, thickness and weight of the pod) was observed. Differences between ecotypes were observed for all morphological traits studied.

When ships navigate in polar regions, they may collide with ice masses, which may cause structural damage and endanger the safety of their occupants. Therefore, it is essential to promptly detect sea ice, icebergs, and passing ships. However, individual data sources have limits and should be combined and integrated to obtain more thorough information. A polar multi-target local-scale dataset with five categories was constructed. Sea ice, icebergs, ice melt ponds, icebreakers, and inter-ice channels were identified by a single-shot detector (SSD), with a final mAP value of 70.19%. A remote sensing sea ice dataset with 15,948 labels was constructed. The You Only Look Once (YOLOv5) model was improved with Squeeze-and-Excitation Networks (SE), Funnel Activation (FReLU), Fast Spatial Pyramid Pooling, and Cross Stage Partial Network (SPPCSPC-F). In the detection stage, a slicing operation was performed on remote sensing images to detect small targets. Simulated sea ice data were included to verify the model’s generalization ability. Then, the improved model was trained and evaluated in an ablation experiment. The mAP, recall (R), and precision (P) values of the improved YOLOv5 were 75.3%, 70.3, and 75.4%, with value increases of 3.5%, 3.4%, and 1.9%, respectively, compared to the original model. The improved YOLOv5 was also compared with other models such as YOLOv3, Faster-RCNN, and YOLOv4-tiny. The results indicated that the performance of the proposed model surpassed those of the other conventional models. This study achieved the detection of multiple targets on different scales in a polar region and realized data fusion, avoiding the limitations of using a single data source, and provides a method to support polar ship path planning.

Introdução: Água de coco é a bebida não diluída, não fermentada, obtida da parte líquida do fruto do coqueiro, por meio de processo tecnológico adequado. O coco é uma das frutas mais populares do Brasil, no país o fruto tem utilização agroindustrial e culinária, através do albúmen sólido e também em sua forma in natura. Objetivos: O presente estudo teve como objetivo avaliar os teores de açúcares, sal (cloreto de sódio) e sódio em amostras de águas de coco in natura e industrializadas e compará-las com o descrito na legislação, assim como, as industrializadas com a rotulagem nutricional. Metodologia: Foi realizado um estudo analítico do tipo experimental qualitativo e quantitativo. Realizando análises de glicídios redutores em glicose e glicídios não redutores em sacarose, glicídios totais, cloreto de sódio e sódio. Para análise dos dados utilizou-se o software estatístico R versão 3.4.1. Resultados: Verificou-se com o estudo que em relação a legislação, todas as amostras de água de coco (in natura e industrializadas) estavam dentro dos padrões vigentes para todas as análises realizadas, contudo, as rotulagens nutricionais não apresentaram os valores condizentes com os valores das análises e apresentaram quantidade superiores de açúcar em comparação com as águas in natura. Conclusão: Destacando a importância dos rótulos pois eles oferecem informações nutricionais, dos ingredientes utilizados na fabricação, para melhor escolha do produto. Coconut water is the undiluted, unfermented beverage obtained from the liquid part of the coconut tree fruit, through an appropriate technological process. Coconut is one of the most popular fruits in Brazil, in the country the fruit has agro-industrial and culinary use, through solid albumen and also in its in natura form. The present study aimed to evaluate the contents of sugars, salt (sodium chloride) and sodium in samples of fresh and industrialized coconut waters and compare them with those described in the legislation, as well as those industrialized with nutritional labeling. An analytical study of qualitative and quantitative experimental type was carried out. Performing analyses of reducing glycides in glucose and non-reducing glycides in sucrose, total glycides, sodium chloride and sodium. Statistical software R version 3.4.1 was used for data analysis. It was verified with the study that in relation to the legislation, all samples of coconut water (fresh and industrialized) were within the current standards for all analyses performed, however, nutritional labels did not present the values consistent with the values of the analyses and presented higher amounts of sugar compared to fresh waters. Highlighting the importance of labels because they offer nutritional information, of the ingredients used in manufacturing, for better product choice.

Flavour is a key driver of consumer preferences and acceptability of foods, and the food industry has made food aroma compounds a crucial area of research. At present, about 80% of food aroma compounds are produced by chemical synthesis; however, alternative production approaches have been explored to meet consumers’ demand for “clean label” food products and “natural” aromas. Bio-production of food aroma compounds from vegetable wastes through fermentation has emerged as a promising alternative. This review showed that fungi and yeasts, and also lactic acid bacteria, can be used to produce aroma compounds through the fermentation of vegetable waste. The produced compounds were mostly responsible for sweet, fruity, and floral notes. Other molecules imparting cheesy/buttery, creamy, green, herbal, grass notes were also obtained through the fermentation of vegetable food waste. Substrates varied from agricultural waste such as rice bran to by-products and waste from the fruit supply chain, in particular pomace, peels, pods. During the study, challenges and limitations for the scale-up of the process emerged. The production of aromas is still strongly strain and waste dependent. Certain aspects thus still require attention to avoid that a joint occurrence of technical challenges may cause the failure of the process.

Objetivos: compreender a participação das despesas com medicamentos judicializados nas despesas totais liquidadas com medicamentos (DTLM) no Estado de São Paulo (SP). SP. Métodos: realizou-se análise exploratória de dados do Sistema de Informações Gerenciais da Execução Orçamentária (Sigeo) e do Sistema de Informação de Orçamento Público em Saúde (Siops), de 2010 a 2018. Resultados: no período estudado, as DTLM em SP superaram 11 bilhões de reais, apresentando tendência decrescente em valores globais e na participação percentual em relação à despesa total com saúde (de 11,32% em 2010 para 8,95% em 2018). De 2016 a 2018, 17% das DTLM foram destinadas às ações judiciais (R$ 679.935.967,31), sendo a tendência crescente. Discussão: a representatividade dos medicamentos judicializados na DTLM alerta para questões de custo, mas também para a segurança do paciente e sustentabilidade das políticas públicas de saúde, pois o rol também contempla medicamentos novos, para os quais a superioridade em efetividade e segurança ainda não foram comprovadas comparando-se às alternativas disponíveis, e/ou com uso off-label. Conclusões: as demandas judiciais por medicamentos não têm levado ao aumento da destinação de recursos para sua aquisição, mas à concorrência por recursos originalmente destinados à política de assistência farmacêutica, com redução da participação percentual dos medicamentos das listas oficiais do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) a cada ano.

Esse artigo analisa o desenvolvimento dos medicamentos pediátricos, estudando, para tanto, o que pode ser considerado desrespeitoso ao direito à saúde infantil, diante da vulnerabilidade das crianças em âmbito internacional e interno. Utilizando um método empírico, o artigo identifica e destaca as práticas farmacêuticas empregadas (conhecidas como “off label” e extrapolação de doses) e sua contrariedade à proteção integral dos seres em desenvolvimento. Os critérios qualitativo e quantitativo utilizados, revelaram omissão informacional aos consumidores de tais fármacos, pois rótulos e bula nacionais, não mencionam a técnica da bioequivalência empregada na sua elaboração. Internamente, problematizamos a atuação da Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária, a Anvisa, a partir do recente caso conhecido como “importação da asparaginase chinesa pelo Ministério da Saúde brasileiro”. A carência de autonomia da vontade dos menores de idade, impõe redefinições jurídicas quanto à vida, à privacidade, sua discriminação, proibição de tratamentos desumanos e degradantes impactando no seu direito à informação. Contudo, a presente controvérsia envolvendo o tratamento médico infantil, ou seja, a ausência de segurança e eficácia da respectiva droga (asparaginase), não é exclusiva dela. Ao contrário, é característica da grande maioria dos medicamentos pediátricos, desprovidos de comprovação científica adequada, originando a expressão “órfãos terapêuticos”. Concluímos, que os protocolos médicos envolvendo menores de idade são negligenciados, não havendo regulamento nacional específico exaustivo sobre o assunto.

Abstract Abstract 263 In response to vascular injury, endothelial cells rapidly secrete high molecular weight multimers of the coagulation protein Von Willebrand factor (VWF). Once expelled from the cells, VWF unfurls in long strings that bind platelets from the bloodstream to induce primary hemostasis. VWF secreted upon stimulation is released from specialized storage compartments called Weibel Palade bodies (WPB) which have a typical rod or cigar shape. They emerge from the Trans Golgi network in a process driven by the formation of helical tubules consisting of VWF multimers and the VWF propeptide. When WPBs undergo exocytosis and release VWF, rapid structural changes occur which eventually result in platelet capturing VWF strings. It has been postulated that the tubular storage of VWF in WPBs is required for sufficient unfolding of the protein during string formation as agents disrupting the VWF tubules were shown to result in less strings. Recently we described a novel structure involved in VWF exocytosis which is formed only upon stimulation. We refer to this structure as a “secretory pod” as it seemed to derive from multiple WPBs and was identified as a VWF release site where strings seemed to be formed. By transmission electron microscopy (TEM) we identified this structure to be a membrane-delimited organelle containing filamentous material resembling unfurled VWF. The VWF tubules as seen in WPBs are absent in secretory pods suggesting that tubular packaging of VWF is not essential for sufficient release and string formation. To study the formation of secretory pods and the subsequent release and remodeling of VWF, several imaging techniques were used such as live-cell imaging and correlative light and electron microscopy. We expressed propeptide-EGFP in endothelial cells to label the WPBs and stimulated them with PMA. By live-cell imaging we visualized the exocytotic events. We observed, apart from single WPB exocytosis, the formation of secretory pods which occurred by the coalescence of several WPBs. In some cases the individual WPBs rounded up first, before they joined into one round structure while in other cases the coalescence event seemed to happen at once. After coalescence, fusion with the plasma membrane occurred to release the pooled VWF which resulted in the disappearance of the fluorescent signal as the propeptide rapidly diffused into the extracellular medium. How the secreted VWF is remodeled after secretion into VWF strings was studied by correlative light and electron microscopy. We correlated confocal pictures of stimulated endothelial cells, which were stained with VWF specific fluorescent antibodies, to consecutive TEM sections. We found that fluorescently labeled VWF dots that were connected to strings, correlated to secretory pods but also to globular mass of secreted VWF. Interestingly, when we analyzed consecutive EM sections, the globular masses were found to originate from the secretory pods. From the globular masses we also observed deriving strings indicating that once VWF is expelled, remodeling occurs independently from secretion. We hypothesize that fluid flow remodels the secreted globular VWF mass into strings. To study this we stimulated endothelial cells under flow. The intracellular VWF pool in the WPBs was labeled green by transient expression of propeptide-EGFP and the secreted VWF was labeled red with strongly diluted red fluorescent VWF specific antibodies in the perfusate. Using live-cell imaging we observed that upon fusion of EGFP labeled WPBs, the green signal transformed into a red signal revealing dots of labeled secreted VWF. These dots rolled, in the direction of the flow, to the edge of the cell where they aggregated and only then formed strings. In non-transfected cells we performed similar experiments and there we observed the same pattern, confirming even more the VWF aggregation and string formation at the edges of the cell. In conclusion, we demonstrated that several WPBs can fuse with each other to form secretory pods and that VWF is secreted as a globular mass of protein. From these globular masses strings originated indicating that string formation occurs independently from the mechanism of secretion in which the tubular packaging of VWF in WPBs does not seem to be of importance. ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council) is a label, indicating that a product that has been passed through environmental sustainability and good aquaculture practices. Objectives of this study are to identify ASC standards and national regulations, and to examine the readiness of exporters and shrimp farmers to apply ASC principles in Tarakan. This study utilizes empirical juridical and descriptive statistical methods. Results of the study indicate that: (1) ASC certification has 7 principles, 34 criteria, and 103 indicators; (2) ASC principles are supported by: 5 Laws, 4 Government Regulations, 1 Presidential Decree, 3 Regulations of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, and 4 Decrees of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries; (3) ASC certification requires high cost; (4) in general the level of readiness of exporter and shrimp fishermen still need to be improved; (5) pond land is mostly illegal. The policy recommendations of this research are: (1) the government reorganizes the national regulatory system to avoid overlapping rules and regulatory vacancies; (2) the government provides lobbies and assessors to relieve the cost of certification; (3) the government adopts the ASC principle criteria to improve competitiveness; (4) the government encourages municipal government in Tarakan to immediately resolve the problem of illegal fishing ponds. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) sertifikasi ASC memiliki 7 prinsip, 34 kriteria, dan 103 indikator; (2) prinsip ASC didukung: 5 Undang-Undang, 4 Peraturan Pemerintah, 1 Keputusan Presiden, 3 Peraturan Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan, dan 4 Keputusan Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan; (3) sertifikasi ASC membutuhkan biaya mahal; (4) secara umum tingkat kesiapan eksportir dan petambak Udang masih perlu ditingkatkan; (5) lahan tambak sebagian besar ilegal. In recent years, research on location-based services has received a lot of interest, in both industry and academic aspects, due to a wide range of potential applications. Among them, one of the active topic areas is the route planning on a point-of-interest (POI) network. We study the top-k optimal routes querying on large, general graphs where the edge weights may not satisfy the triangle inequality. The query strives to find the top-k optimal routes from a given source, which must visit a number of vertices with all the services that the user needs. Existing POI query methods mainly focus on the textual similarities and ignore the semantic understanding of keywords in spatial objects and queries. To address this problem, this paper studies the semantic similarity of POI keyword searching in the route. Another problem is that most of the previous studies consider that a POI belongs to a category, and they do not consider that a POI may provide various kinds of services even in the same category. So, we propose a novel top-k optimal route planning algorithm based on semantic perception (KOR-SP). In KOR-SP, we define a dominance relationship between two partially explored routes which leads to a smaller searching space and consider the semantic similarity of keywords and the number of single POI’s services. We use an efficient label indexing technique for the shortest path queries to further improve efficiency. Finally, we perform an extensive experimental evaluation on multiple real-world graphs to demonstrate that the proposed methods deliver excellent performance.

Introdução: A obesidade é uma doença crônica proveniente de um distúrbio metabólico funcional do organismo, caracterizada pelo acúmulo excessivo de gordura que acarreta diversos efeitos prejudiciais à saúde. O Ozempic® vem atualmente ganhando espaço, sendo muito utilizado de forma off-label no tratamento da obesidade. Objetivo: Analisar a eficácia e segurança do uso da semaglutida (Ozempic®) como abordagem terapêutica no tratamento da obesidade. Metodologia: O estudo trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica, em que se seguiu o método PRISMA, utilizando as bases de dados BVS, Scielo, Pubmed e Periódicos da CAPES, utilizando os descritores: “semaglutida”, “Ozempic®”, “eficácia”, “segurança”, “atenção farmacêutica”. Foram utilizados artigos com período de publicação entre 2013 e 2023, no idioma português e inglês. Resultados: Obteve-se 15 artigos das bases de dados BVS e PubMed após a aplicação dos critérios de elegibilidade dispostos e foram divididos de acordo com os objetivos específicos abordados. No geral, os trabalhos evidenciavam a eficácia da semaglutida na perda de peso em indivíduos com sobrepeso e obesidade. Os efeitos colaterais mais encontrados são distúrbios gastrointestinais, dor de cabeça, nasofaringite e hipoglicemia. O farmacêutico é indispensável neste tratamento, pois faz o acompanhamento farmacológico, sempre se atentando a polifarmacoterapia e dispensação segura de medicamentos, dando a orientação correta e segura aos pacientes. Conclusão: O uso da semaglutida se mostrou seguro e eficaz no emagrecimento de adultos e adolescentes obesos, sendo de suma importância sempre o acompanhamento terapêutico realizado pelo profissional farmacêutico.

Cryptosporidium spp. são protozoários, do filo Apicomplexa, com capacidade de infectar diferentes espécies de vertebrados, como mamíferos, aves, répteis, peixes, anfíbios e também o homem, pois apresenta potencial zoonótico, sendo o agente causador da Criptosporidiose. A infecção ocorre através da ingestão de oocistos esporulados presentes na água ou alimentos contaminados, ou ainda, pelo contato com fezes de animais infectados. Os sinais clínicos, quando presentes, são de gastroenterite, como diarreia, vômito, febre, cólicas abdominais e perda de apetite, tanto em animais como em humanos. Portanto, o objetivo deste trabalho foi relatar o caso de um cão infectado por Cryptosporidium spp., diagnosticado através de exame coproparasitológico. O material analisado foi proveniente de um cão, adulto, macho, SRD, com histórico de diarreia, com sangue e muco, episódios esporádicos de vômito também foram relatados. Foi informado também que o animal estava com o cronograma de vermifugação e vacinação atualizados. Nas técnicas coproparasitológicas de Willis Mollay, Faust e HPJ, não foram observados formas evolutivas de nenhum gênero de enteroparasito. Para pesquisa de Cryptosporidium spp., foi realizado primeiramente a técnica de centrifugo sedimentação em formalina-éter para concentração dos oocistos e posteriormente, para identificação, a coloração de Ziehl-Neelsen modificada, onde foi possível visualizar oocistos do protozoário. Como tratamento foi preconizado uso off label de Azitromicina (10 mg/kg), VO, 24x24 hs, durante 7 dias, e probiótico, (5 gr.), 24x24 hs, durante 5 dias. Após o término da terapia, houve melhora clínica do paciente e após nova análise coproparasitológica, não foram observados oocistos de Cryptosporidium spp.

TPS350 Background: The optimal timing for initiating androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) in biochemical recurrent (BCR) prostate cancer (PC) patients, specifically those with PSA doubling time > 10 months, remains uncertain. Therefore, there is a compelling need for clinical trials exploring alternatives to ADT. Artesunate, derived from Artemisinin which is extracted from Artemisia annua (Aa), shows anti-cancer effects. Aa comprises several active constituents including dihydroartemisinic acid, artemisinic acid, and artemisinin. Our research group assessed the sensitivity of prostate cancer cells to Artesunate using established PC cell lines such as LNCaP, C4-2, CWR-22Rv1 and PC-3. Two cell lines, LNCaP (PSA and AR positive, hormone naïve) with an IC50 of 3.30 µM (95% CI 2.28-4.79) and C4-2 (PSA and AR positive, castration resistant) with an IC50 of 3.99 µM (3.13-5.10 µM) demonstrated sensitivity to Artesunate. Wang et. al (2017) reported that Artesunate, administered at varying doses, effectively suppressed tumor growth, inhibited cell viability and enhanced apoptosis in a mouse xenograft model using the 22rv1 PC cell line. Based on these promising preclinical findings, we hypothesize that Aa decaf coffee has the potential to decrease rising PSA levels in patients with BCR PC. Our research group previously conducted a phase I dose escalation of ArtemiCoffee in ovarian cancer (NCT04805333) and preliminary results indicated no grade ≥3 toxicities at the proposed dose (unpublished data). In this study, we aim to conduct a phase II study of Aa decaf coffee in men with BCR PC. Methods: An open-label, single center, phase II study targets men with BCR PC following primary definitive local therapy and a PSA doubling time > 10 months. Commercially available Aa decaf coffee pods supplied by ArtemiLife Inc. will be utilized. These decaf coffee pods adhere to FDA food-grade quality standards and Aa plants used for ArtemiLife coffee are cultivated in Kentucky, USA. Aa decaf coffee will be self-administered three times daily (total of 1,350mg Aa) on an outpatient basis for 24 weeks. The primary endpoint is to determine the proportion of patients achieving a ≥50% decline in PSA levels within 24 weeks of Aa decaf coffee treatment in BCR population. A total of 30 patients will be enrolled in this study, ensuring a maximum margin of error of approximately 16% in the 95% confidence interval for the primary endpoint. Secondary endpoints include safety and tolerability. Correlative endpoints include 1) changes in downstream biomarkers of the NRF2/KEAP1 signaling pathway and 2) changes in plasma concentrations of artemisinin and dihydroartemisinin by comparing pre- and post-treatment with Aa decaf coffee using non-parametric paired test. Théâtre, cirque, musique, danse ou encore seul-en-scène… le spectacle vivant, deuxième secteur culturel en matière de poids économique après l’audiovisuel, couvre une large variété de domaines esthétiques. D’après les données déclarées auprès du dispositif du ministère de la Culture SIBIL (Système d’information billetterie) et enrichies de celles du Centre national de la musique (CNM) et de l’Association pour le soutien du théâtre privé (ASTP), au moins 200 000 représentations de spectacle vivant ont été données en 2022, qui ont rassemblé 53 millions de spectateurs et généré une recette de billetterie de 1,7 milliard d’euros. La diversité du spectacle vivant induit une grande hétérogénéité d’un domaine esthétique à l’autre mais aussi au sein d’un même domaine, où le nombre de représentations, de spectateurs, la recette par billet et par représentation varient. Ainsi, les concerts rassemblent la moitié du public et génèrent les recettes les plus élevées (1 milliard d’euros, soit 60 % de la recette totale de billetterie) devant le théâtre et les arts associés (27 % du public et 320 millions d’euros), les comédies musicales, l’humour, le cabaret, le music-hall (18 % et 290 millions d’euros) et la danse (5 % et 74 millions d’euros). Cependant, une représentation de spectacle vivant sur deux relève du théâtre ou des arts associés, souvent jouée dans de plus petites salles (140 spectateurs en moyenne par représentation) que pour les représentations musicales (570 spectateurs), les spectacles de danse (300 spectateurs) ou d’humour (195 spectateurs). C’est en Île-de-France que sont données quatre représentations sur dix de spectacle vivant mais l’offre de festivals participe fortement à la vitalité culturelle des territoires. Les festivals rassemblent 400 spectateurs par représentation, moyenne qui varie de 80 pour le théâtre ou le conte, marionnettes et mime à 1 800 pour le pop, rock et 3 500 pour le rap, hip-hop, ces deux derniers genres musicaux générant les recettes les plus élevées. Si la diversité des propositions artistiques est grande, celle des déclarants l’est aussi. Une représentation sur deux est déclarée par une société commerciale, une sur trois par une association et une sur six par un établissement public ou une collectivité territoriale. Parallèlement, deux représentations sur dix sont données au sein du réseau constitué par les établissements publics nationaux ou les structures auxquelles le ministère de la Culture a délivré un label ou une appellation. Pour ces structures, la reprise post-crise sanitaire est lente : le nombre de représentations déclarées en 2022 excède de 6 % celui de 2019, mais la fréquentation est en baisse de 7 % et les recettes, de 11 %. La fréquentation et les types de spectacle proposés sont ainsi détaillés dans cette étude qui établit une toute première photographie de la billetterie du spectacle vivant en 2022.

The present state of commercial feed industry and proliferation of new commercial feed brands and with promises of improved growth response of using one feed brand over another with other advantages as single phase feed, feed response index will be considered given that animal have different nutritional requirement at different stage of growth. On a weekly basic, based on the various phases, a combination feeding strategy based on the matching of feed to animal feeding phase by combining different feed category is essential for maximum gain for the raising period. a total of 250 Arbor Acres birds were used, the experiment followed a completely randomized design, with five treatments replicated four times, each replicate consisting of 12 birds. and weight recorded on a weekly basics, also feed samples were analysed for proximate composition for comparison with values on feed bag label to account difference in performance between nutrient dense or professional commercial feed to conventional commercial feed. The result showed that combination feeding of T4- Professional two feeding phase feed, T1- Professional Single Phase feed, T4, T2- Professional two phase feed, T5-Conventional Commercial feed, and T4 again consecutively in weeks was optimum and feed did not significantly differ for parameter as crude protein except for T1 and for fat and fibre content except for T2 and T4, showing difference in performnace might be due to certain content of feed or processing method. Sur une base hebdomadaire, basée sur les différentes phases, une stratégie d'alimentation combinée basée sur l'adéquation de l'aliment à la phase d'alimentation de l'animal en combinant différentes catégories d'aliments est essentielle pour un gain maximum pendant la période d'élevage. Un total de 250 oiseaux d'Arbor Acres ont été utilisés, l'expérience a suivi un plan complètement randomisé, avec cinq traitements répétés quatre fois, chaque répétition étant composée de 12 oiseaux et le poids enregistré sur une base hebdomadaire, des échantillons d'aliments ont également été analyséspour déterminer leur composition immédiate afin de les comparer aux valeurs figurant sur l'étiquette du sac d'aliments afin de tenir compte de la différence de performance entre les aliments commerciaux riches en nutriments ou professionnels et les aliments commerciaux conventionnels. Le résultat a montré que l'alimentation combinée de l'aliment biphasé professionnel T4, de l'aliment professionnel monophasé T1, de l'aliment biphasé professionnel T4, de l'aliment biphasé professionnel T5, de l'aliment commercial conventionnel T5 et du T4 à nouveau consécutivement pendant des semaines était optimale et que l'alimentation n'avait pas d'effet significatif diffèrent pour les paramètres tels que les protéines brutes, à l'exception de T1, et pour la teneur en matières grasses et en fibres, à l'exception de T2 et T4, la différence de performance pouvant être due à un certain contenu de l'aliment ou à une méthode de transformation.

O filé de pescado é um alimento muito consumido em especial por suas propriedades sensoriais, e vem ganhando espaço no mercado de congelados por questões de praticidade e conveniência. Para aumentar o seu período de conservação e manter a qualidade, o filé de pescado é, normalmente, submetido a um processo de glaciamento, que consiste em cobrir o filé com fina camada de gelo após o congelamento. A tolerância máxima permitida pela legislação é de 12% de glaciamento. Entretanto, inconformidades referentes à declaração do peso líquido são comuns, e as excessivas quantidades de gelo do glaciamento têm sido relatadas por órgãos oficiais. Diante do exposto, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a quantidade de glaciamento em diferentes marcas de filé de Pangasius hypophthalmus comercializados em Rio Verde-GO. Foram avaliadas amostras de cinco marcas comerciais, e os resultados demonstraram diversas inconformidades, em relação ao peso, a rotulagem e o excesso de gelo. AbstractThe fillet of fish is a food widely consumed, especially by its sensorial qualities, this food is becoming more popular in the market frozen for reasons of practicality and convenience. To increase their shelf life and maintain quality, file fish is usually subjected to a process of glazing in which the file is to cover with a thin layer of ice after freezing. According to the rules and regulations concerning frozen fish, the weight of the water can not be part of the net weight expressed on the label, the water of glazing, must appear in separate weight. The maximum allowable tolerance legislation skin is 20% of glazing. However, non-conformities relating to the declaration of net weight are common, and excessive amounts of ice glazing have been reported by official agencies. In view of this question, the present work had the objective of evaluating the amount of glaciation in different brands of fillets of Pangasius hypophthalmus marketed in Rio Verde-GO. Samples of a trademark, and the results showed various nonconformities in relation to weight, labeling with excess ice. These results can be considered as fraud, causing economic losses to the owners of restaurants, being necessary enforcement actions in commerce and industry, by the competent bodies. Keywords: Fraud. Os stickers podem ser definidos como adesivo, etiqueta e figurinha. Muito semelhantes aos tradicionais gifs e emoticons, nas conversas digitais, os stickers têm suprimido o uso de palavras e imagens. Por serem polissêmicos, podem ser empregados em diferentes situações de interação, o que dá um tom mais divertido ao assunto a que se referem. Esta situação linguageira é o que a Análise de Discurso define como um deslizamento discursivo. Ou seja, por meio de incisas e elipses discursivas há uma ruptura na linearidade do discurso original. No caso da política, entretanto, mesmo que um novo sentido seja construído, o caráter propagandístico dos stickers permanece. Através da pesquisa exploratória e empírica, o objetivo deste estudo é o de compreender os deslizamentos de sentido dos discursos políticos para os stickers. Para isso, como principal suporte teórico-metodológico, utilizou-se a proposta de Análise de Discurso desenvolvida por Patrick Charaudeau. Em especial, por meio de duas modalidades de construção e organização do discurso: o modo de organização descritivo e o modo de organização argumentativo. Em seus componentes linguísticos, o modo descritivo e o modo argumentativo possuem os procedimentos de nomear, qualificar, situar-localizar e as asserções de partida, de passagem e de chegada, importantes na nossa investigação e para a compreensão dos deslizamentos discursivos e os novos sentidos produzidos. Como corpus de pesquisa, foram escolhidos quatro stickers veiculados no Whatsapp, em 2020. O critério de seleção foi o da conveniência, pois não há critérios específicos que devam ser considerados para a escolha da amostra.
