We calculate a sheaf line in [Formula: see text] which is the real line supporting sheaf points on [Formula: see text] of [Formula: see text] Yang–Mills (YM) instanton (or [Formula: see text] complex YM instanton) sheaves for some given ADHM data we obtained previously. We found that this sheaf line is indeed a special jumping line over [Formula: see text] spacetime. In addition, we calculate the singularity structure of the connection [Formula: see text] and the field strength [Formula: see text] at the corresponding singular point on [Formula: see text] of this sheaf line. We found that the order of singularity at the singular point on [Formula: see text] associated with the sheaf line in [Formula: see text] is higher than those of other singular points associated with normal jumping lines. We conjecture that this is a general feature for sheaf lines among jumping lines.

Theoretical oscillator strengths are reported for transitions between excited terms of the singlet and triplet S, P, D, F and G manifolds of atomic magnesium. The principal quantum numbers of the jumping electron range from n = 4 to 100. The calculations are based on the Coulomb approximation. Low-n results, for which other data are available previously, agree reasonably well with the sophisticated calculations of Moccia and Spizzo (1988). Data for 1,3F–1,3G transitions may deviate from hydrogenic values by as much as 50%.

The effect of plasma Coulomb microfied dynamics on spectral line shapes is under consideration. The analytical solution of the problem is unachievable with famous Chandrasekhar–Von-Neumann results up to the present time. The alternative methods are connected with modeling of a real ion Coulomb field dynamics by approximate models. One of the most accurate theories of ions dynamics effect on line shapes in plasmas is the Frequency Fluctuation Model (FFM) tested by the comparison with plasma microfield numerical simulations. The goal of the present paper is to make a detailed comparison of the FFM results with analytical ones for the linear and quadratic Stark effects in different limiting cases. The main problem is connected with perturbation additions laws known to be vector for small particle velocities (static line shapes) and scalar for large velocities (the impact limit). The general solutions for line shapes known in the frame of scalar perturbation additions are used to test the FFM procedure. The difference between “scalar” and “vector” models is demonstrated both for linear and quadratic Stark effects. It is shown that correct transition from static to impact limits for linear Stark-effect needs in account of the dependence of electric field jumping frequency in FFM on the field strengths. However, the constant jumping frequency is quite satisfactory for description of the quadratic Stark-effect. The detailed numerical comparison for spectral line shapes in the frame of both scalar and vector perturbation additions with and without jumping frequency field dependence for the linear and quadratic Stark effects is presented.

The transient motion of a ramp-core dislocation spreading from −∞<x<∞ and jumping from rest to a supersonic speed in the x direction, is investigated by analysis on the complex transform plane. The new result of this analysis is that, instead of the Mach cone of the Volterra dislocation, there are two lines of discontinuity (of the stress) propagating in the ±z directions, inside of which there are arctan delta sequence (ε≠0) radiated supersonic fields, as well as subsonic fields. The lines of discontinuity arise at the tangent point of the Mach wavefront (ε=0) to the cylinder with radius r=c2t.

Overhead transmission line icing is one of the main factors affecting safety and reliability of power grid. This paper proposed an excitation deicing method of iced wire and theoretically revealed the ice removal mechanism under displacement excitation conditions, by taking the LGJ-70/10 glaze icing wire as the 3D model and analyzing and studying its dynamic response under the effect of displacement excitation. The simulation results show that the stress of wire icing area is enlarged with the increase of excitation displacement and frequency. Through the comparison of the compression strength experimental results on a series of different iced wires in low temperature environment, the authors found out that the stress generated from the wire icing area is greater than the crushing strength of the ice within the scope of the calculation parameters, which proved the validity and the feasibility of the method, and finally the suitable excitation displacement is determined. Following studies show that, as far as possible, it is necessary to reduce the incentive displacement and also to select the appropriate constraint length in order to avoid the line jumping that may be caused by large span ice shedding.

Disorders of sex development (DSD), formerly termed “intersex” conditions, arise from numerous causes. CAH secondary to 21-hydroxylase deficiency is the most common cause of DSD. Sex chromosome disorders, including sex chromosome mosaicism, are the second most common cause of DSD. We discuss a medically complex neonate with DSD presenting with ambiguous genitalia. Hormone levels suggested 21-hydroxylase deficiency. Molecular analysis revealed compound heterozygous mutations in the 21-hydroxylase gene (CYP21A2), confirming the diagnosis of CAH. Chromosome analysis revealed sex chromosome mosaicism with three cell lines: 45,X[8]/45,X,tas(Y;16)(p11.32;p13.3)[8]/45,X,t(Y;8)(p11.32;p23.3)[4] with the Y chromosome in telomere association with chromosomes 8p and 16p in different cell lines, a “jumping translocation.” Histologically, the right gonad had irregular, distended seminiferous tubules with hyperplastic germ cells contiguous with ovarian stroma and primordial follicles. The left gonad had scant ovarian stroma and embryonic remnants. Chromosome analyses showed mosaicism in both gonads: 45,X[17]/45,X,tas(Y;8)(p11.32;p23.3)[3]. This is the first case of coexisting CAH and 45,X/46,XY mosaicism reported in the English literature and the third case of a constitutional chromosome Y “jumping translocation.” Our report documents the medical and genetic complexity of children such as this one with ambiguous genitalia and discusses the need for a multidisciplinary team approach.

This paper investigates the nonidentical parallel production line scheduling problem derived from an axle housing machining workshop of an axle manufacturer. The characteristics of axle housing machining lines are analyzed, and a nonidentical parallel line scheduling model with a jumping process operation (NPPLS-JP), which considers mixed model production, machine eligibility constraints, and fuzzy due dates, is established so as to minimize the makespan and earliness/tardiness penalty cost. While the physical structures of the parallel lines in the NPPLS-JP model are symmetric, the production capacities and process capabilities are asymmetric for different models. Different from the general parallel line scheduling problem, NPPLS-JP allows for a job to transfer to another production line to complete the subsequent operations (i.e., jumping process operations), and the transfer is unidirectional. The significance of the NPPLS-JP model is that it meets the demands of multivariety mixed model production and makes full use of the capacities of parallel production lines. Aiming to solve the NPPLS-JP problem, we propose a hybrid algorithm named the multi-objective grey wolf optimizer based on decomposition (MOGWO/D). This new algorithm combines the GWO with the multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on decomposition (MOEA/D) to balance the exploration and exploitation abilities of the original MOEA/D. Furthermore, coding and decoding rules are developed according to the features of the NPPLS-JP problem. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed MOGWO/D algorithm, a set of instances with different job scales, job types, and production scenarios is designed, and the results are compared with those of three other famous multi-objective optimization algorithms. The experimental results show that the proposed MOGWO/D algorithm exhibits superiority in most instances.

Ice shedding from conductors may easily induce electrical and mechanical accidents, which cause a serious threat to the safe operation of transmission lines. In this paper, a 3D finite element model of tower-conductor-ground wire-insulator system was established in ANSYS, and the dynamic responses of ice shedding under different cases were analyzed for a transmission tower-line system. The computed jumping heights are in excellent agreement with the experimental values of a two span conductors model. Many variables were considered in the ice-shedding simulations that include tower-line coupled effect, phase combination of the ice-shedding conductors, thickness of the accreted ice, length of the ice-shedding span as well as elevation difference. Influences of all the variables on the dynamic responses of jumping heights, loads at the end of insulators and the forces of transmission tower were studied. Ice-shedding simulations of an actual 500 kV transmission line section which experience failure under ice shedding in 2008 were performed. The results show that stress ratios of members at the tower head under design ice thickness exceed the limiting values when the amount of shedding ice is large. For ice shedding at the top phase conductors, the jumping height and unbalanced tension at the end of insulator can be reduced by applying interphase spacers in triangular arrangement. The tower is in a safe state under the load of the design ice thickness. In order to prevent ice-shedding accidents, interphase spacers should be used, and the weak members at the tower head should be strengthened according to the calculated load values at the end of insulators.

This paper introduces several kinds of icing and ice-off simulation method: the equivalent load method, quality method, Támás model method and cell death method. With a large span cross section as an example, using finite element method, established the finite element model of single span icing wire, analyzed the non-uniform ice-off and the even ice-off,the results show that: Non-uniform ice-off dynamic tension is significantly smaller than even ice-off dynamic tension,the smallest dynamic tension is closely related to wire jump amplitude, the greater jump amplitude leads to the smaller dynamic tension,the essence of which is determined by the conductor slack.

Abstract Spectrums: New Gender Movement (2017) is a low-budget, independent documentary web series directed, filmed, and edited by Zohar Melinek Ezra and Afek Testa Launer. Spectrums breaks linear time by delaying progress, jumping back and forth, and mourning and celebrating the past while imagining futures that include trans* and gender-nonconforming bodies. The rapid jump-cuts draw attention to this flawed continuity (in documentary as well as in life) and emphasize the fragility of trans* time. Spectrums’ characters disrupt linearity by wasting time, purposely delaying linear progress in their transitions, being pushed outside “family time,” and even circling back. Spectrums operates on trans* time lines, delaying progress in a loopy present and imagining possible futures from reinvented pasts.

Abstract Herodas' Eighth Mime, The Dream (Enhypnion) is a fascinating but unfortunately very poorly preserved account of a dream in which the ‘I’ of the piece encounters Dionysos himself in a revel involving askoliasmos, jumping on an inflated wine-skin. The narrator's success in the competition is equated at the close with a prediction about the future success of Herodas' limping iambics in the literary mêlée. The present piece results from a re-examination of the major papyrus source for this piece in the British Library, proposing new, or possible alternative readings, for lines 15, 44, 45, 70, 72, 76–79. Perhaps the most significant is new evidence for an epithet of Dionysos Lyaios, as the word λύη, commotion, seems preferable to previous editors' λείη, plunder, in line 45.

Abstract The crystal structure of chloral ethylhemiacetal has been determined at 291 K: monoclinic, space group C22 - P21, Z = 2, a = 854.5(1), b = 594.0(3), c = 853.3(1) pm, β = 108.30(2)°, R = 0.0962. A sharp decrease of the spin lattice relaxation time T1 found for the 35Cl NQR of the CCl3 groups in chloral methyl-, ethyl-and n-heptylhemiacetals is attributed to the onset of reorientation of the group over a potential barrier o f ca. 39, 37, and 32 kJ/mol, respectively. An unusual T1 vs. 1/T curve with a T1 minimum superimposed on the sharp decrease of T1 due to the reorientation was observed for each of the three 35Cl NQR lines of nHp-CH . This phenomenon is tentatively ascribed to a fluctuation of EFG caused by jumping motion of the hydrogen atom s in the OH groups.

Abstract The specificity of personal rescue and reserve parachutes is the fact that they are practically never used for jumping during their service life as they are intended for use only in emergency situations. Therefore, these parachutes throughout the entire period of use are only periodically aired and repacked every 6-12 months. Airing and repacking is necessary even if the parachute is only stored. Rescue and reserve parachutes’ components wear unevenly because the canopy with the suspension lines is inside the container and the cover, while the external components of the harness and the container undergo typical operational wear. Therefore, the service life of rescue parachutes can even reach 20 years (this refers to the canopy with the suspension lines alone). During normal exploitation, parachutes are subjected to non-destructive visual and tactile inspection in preparation for packing. When a parachute reaches its maximum service life, extension of its service life can be calculated based on its technical condition. The procedure for extending parachute’s service life involves non-destructive tests at a fabric air permeability test stand and partially destructive tests at the strength test stand. In the paper, both methods are described and their advantages and disadvantages are discussed. Also, observations some regarding the packers’ work and the desired new properties of raw materials that could be introduced to the parachute industry are presented.

The effect of weeding on the transmission of barley leaf blotch, as well as on the germination of seeds was studied. Ten gene tic lines and three cultivars of barley were used divided in 2 plots, each having 40 blocks of 2 x 1.5 m to provide the source of seed, as well as the data about splash transmission of scald. One plot contained weeds and the other did not. The seeds from all the 80 blocks were collected and sown in the glasshouse for germination tests and for the study of seed transmission of the fungus. The foliar area affected by leaf blotch and transmitted by splash water, in general 'was less in the weedy plot in the field, because the inoculum had more obstacles to overcome, jumping from one sick barley plant to a healthy one; thus there was less germination of the seeds from this plot. The clean plot had twice the number of leaf blotch infected plants, and a better rate of seed germination in the glasshouse.

Associative classification is a pattern recognition approach that integrates classification and association rule discovery to build accurate classification models. These models are formed by a collection of contrast patterns that fulfill some restrictions. In this paper, we introduce an experimental comparison of the impact of using different restrictions in the classification accuracy. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time that such analysis is performed, deriving some interesting findings about how restrictions impact on the classification results. Contrasting these results with previously published papers, we found that their conclusions could be unintentionally biased by the restrictions they used. We found, for example, that the jumping restriction could severely damage the pattern quality in the presence of dataset noise. We also found that the minimal support restriction has a different effect in the accuracy of two associative classifiers, therefore deciding which one is the best depends on the support value. This paper opens some interesting lines of research, mainly in the creation of new restrictions and new pattern types by joining different restrictions.

The research results of the physical development level, indicators of technical and tactical actions of young football players aged 13–14 of different game roles are presented. The research involved 46 young players aged 13-14 of FC "Arsenal" in Kharkov, including 6 goalkeepers, 8 central defenders, 8 wing defenders, 8 central midfielders, 8 wing midfielders, 8 forwards. The following methods were used: theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical testing, and mathematical statistics. Quantitative indicators of motor actions of young football players of 13-14 years of different game role according to the results of 10 calendar games are determined. It was established that the quality of performance of technical and tactical actions of young football players was not the same for players of different game roles. Goalkeepers mainly make long and short passes (29.8 ± 1.19 and 27.2 ± 1.16% of the total number of technical and tactical actions). The largest number of movements with the back forward, cross step and additional step was made by the goalkeeper (12.3; 7.0; 2.6% of game actions per game), which were statistically significantly higher in relation to all field players (p <0.001). Goalkeepers during the game perform more jumps (32.4 ± 1.48% of all motor actions) and throwing the ball (26.4 ± 1.48%). Goalkeepers’ indicators of speed and power capabilities (in the test "vertical jumping") were statistically significantly superior (p <0.05) to players of all other lines. The correlations between the test indicators that reflect the level of goalkeepers’ physical fitness were determined. A statistically significant correlation was established between the indicator "vertical jumping" and running 30 m (ρ = -0.82, p <0.05), indicators of starting and distance speed (ρ = 0.84 and ρ = 0.86, p <0.05), the indicator "running 10 m on the move" with a 6-minute run, which characterized the overall endurance (ρ = -0.83, p <0.05). Goalkeepers are characterized by the relationship between all technical and tactical actions of the game and the level of motor skills development, namely the statistical significance of the correlation of speed and speed-power qualities with technical and tactical indicators.

AbstractThe multiplication of scientific articles related to the fast-growing interest in preservation rhinoplasty (PR) may lead to confusion in the decision-making process, thus requiring a need for guidelines through a focus on benefit–risk ratio and revisions. This study analyzes a 352 consecutive primary rhinoplasties series during a 3 year (2016 to 2019) period with 1-year follow-up. The evaluation of the most appropriate procedure to the patient's nasal anatomy and expectations requires to correlate (1) a convenient classification of nasal profile lines; (2) a review of the dorsum preservation techniques (DP) classified as: full DP, DP + resurfacing, bony cartilaginous disarticulation, and finally traditional rhinoplasty; (3) the role of septoplasties, subdividing this series in two main groups; (4) analyzing the revisions in the different subgroups and to the literature. Thirty-five revisions (9.94%) were done. Correlations between profile lines, surgical procedures, and revisions show (1) 129 straight noses underwent full DP in 88 cases with 5.68% revisions; however, DP+ hump resurfacing in 32 patients with no revision. (2) Among 71 tension noses, 33 underwent full DP with 6 revisions (18.18%), while 32 patients had bony cap resurfacing, 1 revision (3.13%). (3) Among 109 kyphotic noses, 64 patients underwent DP + resurfacing with 10 revisions (15.63%); 27 patients had cartilage-only DP with two revisions (7.41%). (4) In the 43 difficult noses group, revisions were done equally in DP + resurfacing and cartilage-only subgroups. Septum stability modifies the correlations, introducing Cottle's septorhinoplasty in the paradigm. The revision rate is jumping ×2.50% when a septoplasty is associated with the rhinoplasty. Correlated to the benefit–risk ratio and the revisions, the following guidelines may be suggested in primary rhinoplasty: (1) Straight noses: full DP, (2) tension noses: DP + dorsum resurfacing and/or Cottle's variations, (3) kyphotic noses: cartilage-only DP, and (4) difficult noses: traditional rhinoplasties.

The Ukrainian Riding Horse breed is the leading breed of horses in Ukraine in the direction of the sport of working capacity. A long period of breeding improvement requires the establishment of breeding parameters that will continue the breeding process, taking into account the modern needs of classical equestrian sports. Studies were conducted on the entire livestock of the breed, which is kept by breeding subjects and private owners. Quantitative indicators of the breed are established, which are: the total number of 672 heads, including breeding mares of reproductive age – 266 heads. The established parameters of breeding, according to which it is necessary to conduct further improvement of the Ukrainian Riding Horse breed: purpose-breeding horses mainly for purebred breeding, horses with universal sport activity; breeding methods-purebred by lines, crossing at the level of blood flow with the original and other sports breeds, conditional blood capacity for the original breeds - ¾, for others – ½; breeding core should be at least 800 purebred mares; the number of genealogical lines should remain at the current level – 7 or increase; number of breeding stallions in lines-not less than 5, mares – 30 heads; measurement indicators (2 – year-old age: 160-158-178-20 cm (Stallions), 157-155-177-20 cm (mares); 3-year-old age: 163-162-186-21 (Stallions), 161-160-184-20.5 cm (mares); 4 – year – old age and older: 165-165-192-21 cm (stallions), 163-163-190-20.5 cm (mares); the class of young animals at the first bonus should be: elite – 85%, 1 class – 15 % (stallions); Elite - 90%, 1 class – 10 % (mares); the average score for sports performance of 2-year-old young animals should not be lower than: 8 points (Stallions), 7 points (mares); the proportion of horses that have passed factory and Inter – factory tests of sports qualities: stud farms – 80 %; breeding loudspeakers – 70 %; height of overcoming obstacles when testing jumping qualities in freedom (without a rider): at the age of 2 years – 130 cm; at the age of 3 years – 140 cm; at the age of 4 years and older –150 cm. The given breeding parameters are justified by the results of the selection assessment of the entire recorded livestock of the Ukrainian Riding Horse breed. The genealogical structure of the breed consists of 8 lines, mainly – Hobot (24.4 %) and Bespechny (20.5 %). Highly rated for its typicality and exterior stallions line Huguenot, Bespechny and Khrustal, in terms of measurements of the body - the stallions of lines Vodopad and of Raufbold. The greatest number of mares refers to the lines Raufbold (25.1 %) and Factotum (22.0 %). The breed was 23 uterine families. The largest number of representatives in uterine families Tema, Infra II, Bilinka, Eureka, Asaliya. The top number of offspring of the highest sports class estimated breeding family of Arizona, Cathedra, Tema, Bilinka and Tina. Evaluation of models the selection of which received horses showed that most stallions – Champions of competitions at the national level and winners of international competitions obtained in the model selection with inbreeding on one ancestor: Bespechny III-III; VI, IV-IV; V, IV-II; V, IV-IV; Huguenot V-IV; Plastic V-III; Raufbold III-III. The analysis of pedigrees of horses - winners and prize-winners in competitions of the international and national level established that the majority of horses from selection were purebred and came from classical lines of the Ukrainian Riding Horse breed (52.0 %). Among the crossbred descendants of the first generation the highest number of winners of competitions at the national level obtained from crosses with Trakenen breed (61.2 %), winners of international competitions – from stallions of the Thoroughbred riding breed (14.7%).

Fishways can assist fish species to overcome obstacles for performing spawning, feeding, and overwintering migrations. Flow structures in a flat-crested weir-type fishway were experimentally studied. Variations of time-averaged velocity, turbulence intensity, and Reynolds stress with longitudinal and vertical directions and flow rates were analyzed. Also, flow patterns in the longitudinal profile were given. The experiments were carried out in a large scale fishway model in the Hydraulics Laboratory at Zhejiang University of Technology. Two typical flow rates corresponding to detection and preference velocities of fish species were considered. Five different horizontal planes for each flow rate were taken. Eleven transverse lines were arranged for each horizontal plane. Ten measuring points were laid along each transverse line. Three-dimensional velocity at each measuring point was measured by acoustic Doppler velocimeter (ADV). Longitudinal and vertical time-averaged velocity distributions, longitudinal turbulence intensity distribution on the different horizontal planes, vertical turbulent intensity distribution along flow depth, and Reynolds stress distributions on the different horizontal planes and on the different cross-sections in the pool of fishway were analyzed. The experimental results showed that distribution of longitudinal velocity was characterized by topology, which constituted an apparent vertical vortex. Weir flow exhibited skimming flow in the fishway pool. Peak-value range of longitudinal turbulent intensity existed. The amplitude of variation in Reynolds stress near the surface layer reached the maximum, which provided a certain hydraulic condition for fish that favor jumping near the surface layer. This study uncovers three-dimensional flow structures, especially for turbulence characteristics, which can contribute to improving the design of crested weir fishway and to assisting fish species to pass smoothly through fishway, being of potential application value.

Transposable elements (TEs), also known as “jumping genes”, are repetitive sequences with the capability of changing their location within the genome. They are key players in many different biological processes in health and disease. Therefore, a reliable quantification of their expression as transcriptional units is crucial to distinguish between their independent expression and the transcription of their sequences as part of canonical transcripts. TEs quantification faces difficulties of different types, the most important one being low reads mappability due to their repetitive nature preventing an unambiguous mapping of reads originating from their sequences. A large fraction of TEs fragments localizes within introns, which led to the hypothesis that intron retention (IR) can be an additional source of bias, potentially affecting accurate TEs quantification. IR occurs when introns, normally removed from the mature transcript by the splicing machinery, are maintained in mature transcripts. IR is a widespread mechanism affecting many different genes with cell type-specific patterns. We hypothesized that, in an RNA-seq experiment, reads derived from retained introns can introduce a bias in the detection of overlapping, independent TEs RNA expression. In this study we performed meta-analysis using public RNA-seq data from lymphoblastoid cell lines and show that IR can impact TEs quantification using established tools with default parameters. Reads mapped on intronic TEs were indeed associated to the expression of TEs and influence their correct quantification as independent transcriptional units. We confirmed these results using additional independent datasets, demonstrating that this bias does not appear in samples where IR is not present and that differential TEs expression does not impact on IR quantification. We concluded that IR causes the over-quantification of intronic TEs and differential IR might be confused with differential TEs expression. Our results should be taken into account for a correct quantification of TEs expression from RNA-seq data, especially in samples in which IR is abundant.

At present, the industry research of volleyball technology is relatively in-depth, and the analysis of the muscle strength characteristics and coordination of the jumping ball is less, which is not conducive to the control of technical movements. This study used a wireless portable surface EMG tester (16 lines) to analyze the EMG of the main muscle groups in athletes’ volleyball and conducted a video synchronization test method to find the position of the human body. Therefore, a background-based frame difference method is proposed to detect the position and obtain the precise position of the human body. Experiments show that the background-based three-frame difference method effectively eliminates the “hole” effect of the original three-frame difference method and provides an accurate and complete framework for identifying the human body. Adjust the recognition frame according to the proportion of the human body in the image, and use the predefined parameters of the severe frame to perform forward/volleyball background segmentation. The novelty of this document lies in the completion of the complete human body placement of the above three tasks, precapture/background segmentation, and an improved human body position estimation algorithm to extract the human body pose from the video. First, locate the human body in each frame of the video, and then, perform the process of estimating the position of the graphic model based on the color and texture of the unit. After recognizing the gesture of each image in the video, the recognition result will be displayed. Experiments show that after detecting the position of the human body, the predefined frame setting process of the tomb is carried out in two steps, which improves the automation of the human body image detection algorithm, effectively extracts the human motion video, and increases the motion capture rate by more than 30%, to provide a useful reference for the improvement of college volleyball players’ movement skills and training competitions.

Berdasarkan hasil pengujian di laboratorium penguji Balai Pengkajin Teknologi Pertanian (BPTP) NTB bahwa batuan tambang yang ada di daerah Sekotong tidak hanya mengandung emas tetapi terdapat beberapa kandungan mineral lainnya seperti P, Zn, Fe, Cu, Al, dan S, metode yang digunakan dengan AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry). Logam berat Fe merupakan logam berat essensial yang keberadaannya dalam jumlah tertentu sangat dibutuhkan oleh organisme hidup, namun dalam jumlah yang berlebih dapat menimbulkan efek racun. Untuk mengatasi masalah maka melakukan dua kegiatan yakni: a) penyuluhan tentang pentingnya kebersihan terhadap lingkungan. b) pembuatan saluran limbah agar tidak mencemari lingkungan yakni pembuatan kolam pengendapan (settling pond). Selain itu dari kolam pengendapan (settling pond) didapat lumpur dari sisa pengolahan atau penggelondongan emas, lumpur tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi barang bernilai ekonomi dan memiliki harga jual seperti bata tanpa bakar. Hasil dari kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu pengetahuan masyarakat penambang tentang pentingnya lingkungan yang bersih dan kolam pengendapan (settling pond) dan kemampuan masyarakat tambang dalam mengolah limbah menjadi barang bernilai jual yaitu dengan membuat bata tanpa bakar. To overcome the problem, two activities are carried out, namely: a) counseling about the importance of cleanliness to the environment. b) making sewage lines so as not to pollute the environment, namely the creation of settling ponds. Besides that, from settling ponds, sludge is obtained from the processing waste or gold rolling, the sludge can be utilized as economic value goods and has a selling price such as brick without burning. The results of the activities carried out are the knowledge of the mining community about the importance of a clean environment and settling ponds and the ability of the mining community to process waste into valuable goods, by making bricks without burning. The success of this activity can be seen from the large number of people present and their enthusiasm in supporting this activity by jumping in to help.

The mechanical strength of the landslide deposits directly affects the safety and operation of the roads in the western mountainous area of China. Therefore, the research is aimed at studying the mechanisms of a landslide deposit sample with different rock particle contents by analyzing its characteristics of the stress-strain behavior, the “jumping” phenomenon, the volumetric strain, and the shear strength parameters via a large-scale direct shear test. Stress-strain results show that stress-strain curves can be divided into 3 different stages: liner elastic stage, yielding stage, and strain-hardening stage. The shear strength of SRM behaves more like “soil” at a lower rock particle content and behaves more like “rock joints” at a higher rock particle content. Characteristics of the “jumping” phenomenon results show that the “intense jumping” stage becomes obvious with the increasing rock particle content and the normal stress. However, the lower the rock particle content is, the more obvious the “jumping” phenomenon under the same normal stress is. Volumetric strain results show that the sample with a lower rock particle content showed a dilatancy behavior under the low normal stress and shrinkage behavior under the high normal stress. The dilatancy value becomes smaller with the increasing normal stress. The maximum shear stress value of the rock particle content corresponds to the maximum value of dilatancy or shrinkage. We also conclude that the intercept of the Mohr failure envelope of the soil-rock mixture should be called the “equivalent cohesion,” not simply called the “cohesion.” The higher the normal stress and rock particle content are, the bigger the equivalent cohesion and the internal friction angle is.

Our systematic investigation on MYC (C-Myc) - a crucial pro-regeneration transcription factor - has determined that genetic aberrations (chromosomal rearrangements) and overexpression of the gene are highly prevalent in multiple myeloma (MM). At diagnosis, the rearrangements of MYC locus (8q24) were detected in 51% of MM patients using karyotyping and interphase FISH with DNA probe sets to MYC and the flank genomic sequences. The abnormalities of 8q24 in MM include monosomy (5%), amplification (≥3 copies; 13%), break-apart (14%), jumping (11%), and others (8%). Such aberrations were present in 49% of low-risk MM (183/376) and in 62% of high-risk MM (51/82) defined by the gene expression profiling cancer-risk model (GEP-70). The GEP also indicated that 74% of MM patients had excessively high levels of MYC overexpression. Nonetheless, there was no significant correlation between the MYC cytogenetic abnormalities and the levels of MYC expression in myeloma tumor cells - unlike the primary IGH translocations that drive transcriptional spikes of its partner genes. MYC expression by GEP was unable to precisely predict the presence of MYC chromosomal rearrangements in MM. In fact, the clinical outcomes of MM patients with MYC aberrations vs. the patients without detectable 8q24 events showed that neither the numerical variations nor the structural rearrangements of 8q24 had significant impact on the overall survival of patients who were treated on Total Therapy protocols. Further, we have shown that chromosomal rearrangements and the levels of MYC overexpression were not intrinsically relevant to the translation of MYC protein in myeloma. Importantly, the fate of myeloma cells was associated with the presence of two endogenous polypeptide-isoforms of MYC - the canonical MYC protein alias (P01106; 48.8kD) and an alternative MYC protein alias (alt-MYC; > 50kD). In newly diagnosed MM, P01106 was absent in most of the patients; whereas, it was a constitutive alias well maintained across the myeloma tumor cells from the patients with relapsed and progressive diseases and in all of the self-renewable myeloma cell lines. In contrast, alt-MYC alias was present as a stand-alone alias or co-existing with P01106 alias in newly diagnosed myeloma. Most importantly, both MYC aliases were absent in some cell lines and primary tumor cells suggesting cancer cell growth may not be dependent on any of MYC aliases despite of high levels of MYC transcription. Since the MYC gene originated from a viral integration, MYC mRNA has dual-translation features due to an internal ribosome entry segment (IRES) at 5'UTR. Previous studies have determined that the translations can be alternatively initiated from an in-frame CUG (Leucine) codon to generate NP_002458 alias or at a downstream canonical cap-dependent AUG (Methionine) codon to generate P01106 alias. Although these two aliases share identical C-termini, the translational switch can extend the N-terminal in NP_002458 alias. In vitro, the switch of P01106 to alt-MYC has resulted in cell growth arrest. Such alternation was induced by a transient gene transfection of P53 tumor suppressor (TP53); seemingly, the alternative MYC alias acts as an antagonist to P01106 in cell proliferation. Overall, it was generally unpredictable which of the MYC aliases were the dominant driver; therefore, MYC cytogenetic rearrangements and overexpression may have unknown indirect impacts on the outcomes. We are currently examining the precise amino acid sequences on both N-terminal and C-terminal ends of MYC aliases to study the regulatory mechanisms of the translational switching. This may indicate a novel anti-cancer strategy to cease cancer proliferation by deliberately inducing alternative translation of the antagonistic alias of an oncogene, and eventually overcome cooperation of the chromosomal rearrangements and dysregulated oncogene transcriptions in progressive cancer cells. <p><strong>Abstract.</strong> <i>Borderknots</i> is a drawing-performances project that I began in 2013 and through which I “graphically connect” borders of different nature with the help of a rudimentary drawing machine I developed: Inside a wooden box, a tracer produced a line on a paper sheet according to the movements, the accelerations, the vibrations, the shocks which it undergoes. Worn straight from the body or fixed to the door-luggage of a bicycle (Fig. 1), the instrument works as a seismograph recording graphically my journey, including the consequences of meeting the route, a harshness on the ground, a muscular fatigue or a fall. The routes so traveled and fixed on paper are always bound to the crossing of an obstacle or a frontier, real and concrete, political or symbolic, a limiting border physical or invisible, in charge, harmless. At the same time every paper of the project being carved of simple forms linked to the performance to come (in the obstacle to be exceeded), the pen meets then an obstacle in the irregular surface of the sheet of paper itself, too. The way it reacts response to the constraints that impede the flow of movement and reorient impulses of the <i>Borderknots</i>-performances and the border-behaviour in general.</p><p> The drawing is the capture of an effort, a cartography of a more or less difficult and risky crossing. In its cash demonstration &amp;ndash; cross 101 times a barrier (<i>Borderknots - Crossing urban barriers</i>, 2013); cross 28 times the French-German border as fast as possible (<i>Borderknots - Europe round trip</i>, 2013 / Fig. 2); or the relation between the unlimitedness of the obstacle and the simplicity of the obtained drawing (<i>Borderknots - Crossing the Alps 1 and 2</i>, 2014) &amp;ndash; this effort sometimes lends to laughter: a certain irony participates unmistakably in the project.</p><p> The political dimension takes however a more dominant aspect, particularly with the performances consisting in a penetrating into the representations of various countries present in the same city (consulates of Strasbourg / embassies in Brussels, 2013 / Fig. 3). The application of the stamp of every country straight on the drawing being made, is not only a proof of my path, but also outcomes of the negotiations (often difficult) begun in every stage with the various hierarchical authorities of the administrations around the artistic project. The maps thus produced and authenticated by seals, are at first glance abstract, but definitively very official drawings: like generalized visas for freedom of movement.</p><p> Instead of a border<i>line</i>, the title “Borderknots” propose making <i>knots</i>. It is to be said a tie, a link, but also a scrawl difficult to undo and representative of the complexity of certain limits. The lines marked by these machines during performances are in this way maps of the experiences of territories: straying, hesitating, starting over, jumping straight, crossing, turning backwards.</p>

The impact of second order velocity slip with zero mass flux over a malting radially surface is deliberated in the present study to explore the solution of boundary layer flow for MHD Casson nano-fluid heat and mass transfer utilizing nonlinear thermal radiation, heat source and velocity and temperature jumping effect. The temperature and mass equation effect of cross-diffusion is set. Scheme of R.K. using the shooting method, the fourth order is used to derive the correct transformation of the nonlinear differential equation (ODE) mathematical solution from the partial differential equation (PDE) model. The visual definition is used to explain the effect of fluid flow variable such as temperature change, first and second order velocity slip parameter, magnetic parameter, heat source and radiation parameter, surface melting parameter, temperature ratio parameter on dimensional density, temperature and mass profiles. The numerous Nussels, local skin tension and the amount of Sherwoods is expressed in table form. The results obtained confirm that there is an excellent agreement in open literature with those available. In the case of first and second order slip conditions, the skin frication is magnified. The contrary effect can also be seen in the amount of Nusselt.

Background: One of the main indicators of the suspension system efficiency in lower limb prostheses is vertical displacement or pistoning within the socket. Decreasing pistoning and introducing an effective system for evaluating pistoning could contribute to the amputees’ rehabilitation process.Objectives: The main objective of this study was to review existing research studies that examine the occurrence of pistoning in lower limb prosthesis with different techniques in static (standing) and dynamic (walking and jumping) positions.Study Design: Literature review.Methods: Keywords related to slippage, suspension, pistoning and vertical movement in lower limb prosthetics were used to search the literature available in PubMed, ScienceDirect, Web of Science and Google Scholar databases. Sixteen articles were selected for further analysis according to the selection criteria.Results: The following methods have been used to measure the occurrence of pistoning in prosthetic limbs: radiological methods, photographic technique, motion analysis system, sensor and spiral computerized tomography (CT). Pistoning was measured both in standing and walking.Conclusions: The results of this review reveal that further research is needed to develop and evaluate easy, accurate and safe methods of measuring pistoning. Future studies should provide a gold standard for the acceptable range of pistoning in a prosthetic socket.Clinical relevanceThis literature review contributes to a further understanding of lower limb prosthetic biomechanics by highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the techniques that are currently available for evaluating the occurrence of pistoning in a prosthetic socket. It provides a useful overview of the current methods of measuring residual limb movements relative to the socket and liner, and will be of use for both practitioners and researchers in prosthetics and orthotics fields.

AbstractThe N1 centre in Type Ia diamonds is a di-nitrogen centre with S = ½. One nitrogen's interaction with the unpaired electron at room temperature gives a large splitting, All = 46.4 G, A ⊥ = 32.2 G with <111> symmetry while the hyperfine splitting due to the other one has <110> symmetry with parameters All = 2.95 ±.03 G, A⊥ = 2.81 ±.03 G. As the temperature is increased averaging effects start; first some hyperfine lines broaden at about 150°C and disappear at 200°C. At still higher temperatures new lines appear and at about 850°C the averaging process is completed. The interpretation of the dynamics leads to a model of a non-planar N-C-C-N configuration with the electron jumping between the two N-C bonds. The measured activation energy is 0.4 eV which is about midway between the measured values for a similar effect in the isolated nitrogen centre, P1, (E = 0.7eV) and the N-C-N, W7, centre (E = 0.24 eV).

Abstract Over the past forty years many papers have studied logarithmic sheaves associated to reduced divisors, in particular logarithmic bundles associated to plane curves. An interesting family of these curves are the so-called free ones for which the associated logarithmic sheaf is the direct sum of two line bundles. Terao conjectured thirty years ago that when a curve is a finite set of distinct lines (i.e. a line arrangement) its freeness depends solely on its combinatorics, but this has only been proved for sets of up to 12 lines. In looking for a counter-example to Terao’s conjecture, the nearly free curves introduced by Dimca and Sticlaru arise naturally. We prove here that the logarithmic bundle associated to a nearly free curve possesses a minimal non-zero section that vanishes on one single point, P say, called the jumping point, and that this characterises the bundle. We then give a precise description of the behaviour of P. Based on detailed examples we then show that the position of P relative to its corresponding nearly free arrangement of lines may or may not be a combinatorial invariant, depending on the chosen combinatorics.

The tiered principal retinae of salticid spiders are unique. No other arthropod ocellar retina resembles them anatomically, or sustains equivalently fine spatial acuities. The phylogeny of spiders guarantees that they evolved from far simpler, untiered retinae. The obscure systematic affiliations of the Salticidae preclude a search for extant forms that might offer precursors of the tiered retina, and it is probable that no such forms now exist. We examine the post-embryonic morphogenesis of a salticid principal retina, making a heuristic assumption that the concept of the ontogenetic recapitulation of phylogeny (Haeckel’s 'Law of Recapitulation', now in a literal sense discredited) can, cautiously applied, either (1) indicate how the retina might have evolved, or (2) exclude some arbitrary models of its evolution. By day 3 of post-embryonic development, a presumptive principal retina is established as a simple hemisphere of primordial receptive segments, to which new receptive segments are inferred to be still in the process of being added at the equator. At around days 4-5, the hemisphere of receptive segments starts rapidly to narrow. By around day 10, horizontal narrowing has transformed the initial hemisphere to an approximation of the mature, dorsoventrally aligned, boomerang-shaped retina. At day 12, spiderlings moult to the second instar, but conformational changes to the retina continue until day 15, when spiders leave their brood sacs and become independent. The major conformational changes imply that distal receptive segments (e.g. those of Layers III and IV) are derived from those that initially lie at or close to the equator of the primordial hemisphere; and that foveal Layer I receptive segments remain at the retinal pole. Extreme horizontal narrowing ensures that equatorial receptive segments come to overlie those at the retinal pole, or at least near to it. These findings exclude a hypothesis that receptors of different spectral sensitivities were randomly distributed over a primitive retinal hemisphere, and that tiering was generated during phylogeny simply by their differential migration along lines parallel to the optical axis. Nevertheless, limited local migrations of nascent receptive segments along such lines are inferred to contribute to the final pattern of tiering.

The improper purificatory procedure results in residual accumulation of Kapha and Pitta Prakopa in Mootravaha Srotas. Hence all the Doshas collectively result in formation of Ashmari. There are different treatment lines for the management of Ashmari in modern system. Management of urinary disease occupies an important place in Ayurveda. Varunamula Twak Kwatha administerd in Paneeya form, which is having Vedana Shamaka, Ashmrighna properties which leads to disintegration, dissolution, dislodgement and expulsion of stone. A 36 yrs young male presenting with history of symptoms of Mootrashmari like Teevravedana over Nabhi, Vasti, Sevani and Medra during micturition, aggravation of pain during running, jumping, walking long distance etc. since 3 days has presented here.

The width effect on contact angle hysteresis in a microchannel with patterned heterogeneous surfaces is systematically investigated. In the model, identical defects periodically appear on the background surface. To this end, a droplet's evaporation and condensation processes inside the microchannel are studied by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation based on a diffuse-interface lattice Boltzmann method. The microchannel width effect on the system's equilibrium properties is studied. The results demonstrate that the number of equilibrium configurations increases linearly with the microchannel width ( $b$ ), and has a quadratic relationship with the cosine of the reference contact angle and the heterogeneity strength ( $\varepsilon$ ). The average most stable contact angle is independent of $b$ and is always equal to the contact angle predicted by the Cassie–Baxter equation. For contact angle hysteresis ( $H$ ), when the microchannels are narrow and wide, there are individual-effect-dominated hysteresis (IDH) and collective-effect-dominated hysteresis (CDH), respectively. The IDH and CDH are hysteresis modes corresponding to the jumping behaviour of contact lines affected by individual defects and two neighbouring defects, respectively. Based on the graphical force balance approach, we establish a scaling law to quantify the connection between $H$ , $b$ and $\varepsilon$ . Specifically, in the IDH mode, $H\sim b \varepsilon ^2$ , while in the CDH mode, $H$ increases linearly with $\varepsilon$ but nonlinearly with $b$ .

Abstract Background Coronavirus-related conspiracy theories (CT) have been found to be associated with fewer pandemic containment-focused behaviors. It is therefore important to evaluate associated cognitive factors. We aimed to obtain first endorsement rate estimates of coronavirus-related conspiracy beliefs in a German-speaking general population sample and investigate whether delusion-related reasoning biases and paranoid ideation are associated with such beliefs. Methods We conducted a cross-sectional non-probability online study, quota-sampled for age and gender, with 1684 adults from Germany and German-speaking Switzerland. We assessed general and specific coronavirus conspiracy beliefs, reasoning biases [jumping-to-conclusions bias (JTC), liberal acceptance bias (LA), bias against disconfirmatory evidence (BADE), possibility of being mistaken (PM)], and paranoid ideation, using established experimental paradigms and self-report questionnaires. Results Around 10% of our sample endorsed coronavirus-related CT beliefs at least strongly, and another 20% to some degree. Overall endorsement was similar to levels observed in a UK-based study (Freeman et al., 2020b). Higher levels of conspiracy belief endorsement were associated with greater JTC, greater LA, greater BADE, higher PM, and greater paranoid ideation. Associations were mostly small to moderate and best described by non-linear relationships. Conclusions A noticeable proportion of our sample recruited in Germany and German-speaking Switzerland endorsed coronavirus conspiracy beliefs strongly or to some degree. These beliefs are associated with reasoning biases studied in delusion research. The non-probability sampling approach limits the generalizability of findings. Future longitudinal and experimental studies investigating conspiracy beliefs along the lines of reasoning are encouraged to validate reasoning aberrations as risk factors.
