Aims This study aimed to determine outcomes of isolated tibial insert exchange (ITIE) during revision total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Methods From 1985 to 2016, 270 ITIEs were performed at one institution for instability (55%, n = 148), polyethylene wear (39%, n = 105), insert fracture/dissociation (5%, n = 14), or stiffness (1%, n = 3). Patients with component loosening, implant malposition, infection, and extensor mechanism problems were excluded. Results Survivorship free of any re-revision was 68% at ten years. For the indication of insert wear, survivorship free of any re-revision at ten years was 74%. Re-revisions were more frequent for index diagnoses other than wear (hazard ratio (HR) 1.9; p = 0.013), with ten-year survivorships of 69% for instability and 37% for insert fracture/dissociation. Following ITIE for wear, the most common reason for re-revision was aseptic loosening (33%, n = 7). For other indications, the most common reason for re-revision was recurrence of the original diagnosis. Mean Knee Society Scores improved from 54 (0 to 94) preoperatively to 77 (38 to 94) at ten years. Conclusion After ITIE, the risk and reasons for re-revision correlated with preoperative indications. The best results were for polyethylene wear. For other diagnoses, the re-revision rate was higher and the failure mode was most commonly recurrence of the original indication for the revision TKA. Adaptive multi-rate wideband (AMR-WB) speech codecs have been widely used for high speech quality in modern mobile communication systems, e.g., handheld mobile devices. Nevertheless, a major handicap is that a remarkable computational load is required in the vector quantization (VQ) of immittance spectral frequency (ISF) coefficients of an AMR-WB coding. In view of this, a two-stage search algorithm is presented in this paper as an efficient way to reduce the computational complexity of ISF quantization in AMR-WB coding. At stage 1, an input vector is assigned to a search subspace in an efficient manner using the binary search space-structured VQ (BSS-VQ) algorithm, and a codebook search is performed over the subspace at stage 2 using the iterative triangular inequality elimination (ITIE) approach. Through the use of the codeword rejection mechanisms equipped in both stages, the computational load can be remarkably reduced. As compared with the original version of the BSS-VQ algorithm, the upgraded version provides a computational load reduction of up to 51%. Furthermore, this work is expected to satisfy the energy saving requirement when implemented on an AMR-WB codec of mobile devices.

A high-performance vector quantization (VQ) codebook search algorithm is proposed in this paper. VQ is an important data compression technique that has been widely applied to speech, image, and video compression. However, the process of the codebook search demands a high computational load. To solve this issue, a novel algorithm that consists of training and encoding procedures is proposed. In the training procedure, a training speech dataset was used to build the squared-error distortion look-up table for each subspace. In the encoding procedure, firstly, an input vector was quickly assigned to a search subspace. Secondly, the candidate code word group was obtained by employing the triangular inequality elimination (TIE) equation. Finally, a partial distortion elimination technique was employed to reduce the number of multiplications. The proposed method reduced the number of searches and computation load significantly, especially when the input vectors were uncorrelated. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm provides a computational saving (CS) of up to 85% in the full search algorithm, up to 76% in the TIE algorithm, and up to 63% in the iterative TIE algorithm. Further, the proposed method provides CS and load reduction of up to 29–33% and 67–69%, respectively, over the BSS-ITIE algorithm.

This study focuses on the validation of load profile and energy usage of Itie-Ikpe, a rural community located in the southern part of Nigeria, for the purpose of designing sustainable optimal hybrid renewable energy systems. A two-year monthly estimated load profile data was obtained from an energy distribution company, monthly averages and overall annual daily load demand of 557.59 kWh/d were determined using mathematical method while a field survey was conducted to obtain the actual load demand figure 562.25 kWh/d for the study community with a difference of 4.66 kWh/d. The two independent results were comparatively analyzed with the field survey result higher than the estimated value obtained from the energy distribution company by 0.84%. Findings also showed that the error margin or difference was relatively negligible with little or no significant effect on the design of the optimal hybrid renewable energy system. Therefore, the daily load demand figure from the field survey result validated the average daily load demand value determined from the obtained estimates. This validation is a crucial step in designing an optimal hybrid renewable energy system for energy sustainability of the study community, as the modeling and selection of systems components of the hybrid renewable energy system depends on the knowledge of accurate average daily load demand in order to avoid design of ineffective energy systems whose performances might not be optimal.

Local ducks in Indonesia there are several kinds, for example Tegal ducks, Magelang ducks and Pengging duck each having characteristics different somatometri. Research on somatometri ducks that includes body weight, leg length, beak length, wing length, body length, and long-neck ducks important to know somatometri of each duck. This study aimed to analyze the differences somatometri at Tegal ducks, Magelang ducks and Pengging duck, which includes weight, leg length, beak length, wing length, body length, and a long neck. Ducks were used in this study maintained in the Central Breeding and Raising Ducks Work Unit Non Ruminant Livestock Banyubiru, Ambarawa. The study was conducted by measuring somatometri of each six monthold ducks. Duck samples taken from three different types of ducks that Tegal duck, Pengging duck and Magelang duck, of each type of sample taken many ducks as 6 tails. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) with the differentiating factor is the type of duck. If the data were analyzed contained a real difference, then do a further test using the test Least Significant Differences (LSD) at 95% confidence level. The results showed that there was no significant difference in all parameters of the study. Conclusion of the study three types of ducks will have somatometri not unlike that includes, weight, leg length, beak length, wing length, body length and the length of the neck. Research on the quality meat of ducks that includes ash content, water content, carbohydrate content, fat content, protein content, and muscle cell diameter of femoral ducks important to know quality meat of each duck. This study aimed to analyzed the differences types of ducks on the chemical content of meat and femoral muscle histology of diameter cell at Tegal ducks, Magelang ducks and Pengging ducks. Ducks were used in this study maintained in the Central Breeding and Raising Ducks Work Unit Non Ruminant Livestock Banyubiru, Ambarawa. The duck six month old was analyzed chemical content of meat and measuring diameter of femoral muscle cells. Duck samples taken from three different types of ducks that Tegal duck,Pengging duck and Magelang duck, of each type of sample taken many ducks as 6 tails. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). If the data were analyzed contained a real difference, continued by the Least Significant Differences Test (LSDT) at 95% confidence level. The results showed that no significant difference in all variables, from the result has been concluded that differences type of ducks not affect the chemical contents of duck meat and diameter of femoral muscle cells. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar kolesterol dan vitamin A dalam telur itik Pengging, itik Tegal, dan itik Magelang. Seleksi sampel telur itik Pengging, itik Tegal, dan itik Magelang dilakukan di Balai Pembibitan dan Budidaya Ternak Non Ruminansia (BPBTNR). Parameter yang diamati adalah kadar kolesterol dan vitamin A dalam telur. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL), dengan 3 perlakuan yaitu itik Pengging, itik Magelang, dan itik Tegal dan 3 ulangan. Jika ada perbedaan antar perlakuan maka dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut menggunakan uji Duncan pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan nyata terhadap kadar kolesterol dan vitamin A pada telur itik Pengging dengan itik Tegal. Hasil yang sama juga terlihat yaitu perbedaan antara itik Magelang dengan itik Tegal, di sisi lain, itik Pengging dan itik Magelang tidak terlihat perbedaan yang nyata. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa telur itik Tegal baik untuk dikonsumsi karena mempunyai kadar kolesterol lebih rendah. Kata kunci: kolesterol, vitamin A, telur Itik

Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu daging itik alabio, daging itk tegal, dan daging itik entok, tepung tapioka, bawang putih, garam, penyedap rasa, dan es batu. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap yang terdiri dari 3 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan; Itik Alabio (P1), Itik Tegal (P2), Itik Entok (P3). Parameter yang diukur dalam penelitian ini adalah bentuk, aroma, warna, tekstur, citarasa, kekenyalan dan penerimaan umum. Penelitian ini ini menunjukkan bahwa jenis itik sangat berpengaruh nyata (P<0,01) terhadap pH, warna, citarasa, dan penerimaan umum. Dan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap bentuk, Namun tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap tekstur, dan kekenyalan. Itik merupakan ternak unggas penghasil dagingdan teluryang memiliki kandungan protein tinggi dan lebih tahan terhadap penyakit dibandingkan ayam. Salah satu parasit yang dapat menginfeksi sistem pencernaan itik adalah cacing Tetrameres spp. yang berpredileksi pada proventrikulusitik.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui prevalensi dan perubahan histopatologi proventrikulus pada itik di Bali yang terinfeksi cacing Tetrameres spp.. Sampel itik berjumlah 50 ekor diambil dengan metode purposive sampling pada itik hidup yang dijual di Pasar Badung dan Pasar Gianyar. Itikdikelompokkan berdasarkan lokasi pasar tempat pembelian itik, umur,dan jenis kelamin itik. Itikdinekropsi dan proventrikulus itik yang positif terinfeksi Tetrameres spp.diawetkandengan Bouin Solutionuntuk dijadikan preparat histopatologi dengan menggunakan pewarnaan Hematoxylin Eosin(HE). Perubahan histopatologi yang terjadi akan dianalisis secara deskriktif kuantitatif dan hubungan antara lokasi pasar tempat pembelian itik, umurdan jenis kelamin itik dengan prevalensi di analisis menggunakan uji chi-square. Prevalensi cacing Tetrameres spp.padaitik di Bali sebesar 12%.Perubahan histopatologi yang diterjadi pada proventrikulus itik yang terinfeksi yaitu: terjadinya nekrosispada vili yang terdapat pada proventrikulus itik, kelenjar proventrikulusitikmengalami atrofi, ditemukan adanya sel radang dengan sedikit fibroblaspada proventrikulus itik, dan ditemukannya tubuhdari cacing Tetrameres spp.di proventrikulus itik yang terinfeksi. Kesimpulanya adalah lokasipasar tempat pembelian itik, umur, dan jenis kelamin itik tidak menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang berpengaruh nyata dengan prevalensi.

Sistem manajemen insiden layanan teknologi informasi PT Pusri dibangun berdasarkan ITIL v4. Keefektifan serta keefisienan sistem manajemen insiden perlu dijamin sehingga diperlukan evaluasi tingkat kematangan sistem. Evaluasi Tingkat kematangan ITIL v4 sulit dilaksanakan, dikarenakan ilmu yang berkaitan masih sedikit dan eksklusif. ITIL v4 sebagai bentuk terbaru dari ITIL , tentu mengadaptasi beberapa prinsip dari ITIL v3. Oleh karena itu ITIL Maturity Level Self-Assesment yang berpanduan pada ITIL v3 dipilih sebagai alat bantu evaluasi sistem. Evaluasi sistem manajemen insiden layanan teknologi informasi ITIL v4 PT Pusri menggunakan ITIL Maturity Level Self-Assesment memberikan hasil bahwa sistem tersebut berkategori Not Comply atau di bawah standar dengan level 3: Products, namun telah memenuhi kriteria setiap level lainnya. Hasil penilitian ini menujukkan bahwa penggunaan metode evaluasi ITIL v3 pada sistem berbasis ITIL v4 kurang tepat, hal ini dikarenakan ITIL v4 menggunakan pendekatan holistik dan lebih fleksibel.

Itik Bayang merupakan salah satu plasma nutfah ternak unggas Sumatera barat yang telah ditetapkan berdasarkan Kepmentan 2012, No 2835/Ktsp/Lb. 430. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengindetifikasi keragaman karakter kualitatif dan morfometrik itik Bayang sebagai dasar untuk pengembanngan dan pelestariannya. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini untuk morfometrik 130 itik Bayang yang sudah dewasa kelamin yang terdiri dari 100 ekor itik betina dan 30 ekor itik jantan. Sedangkan untuk karakter kualitatif sebanyak 617 ekor itik Bayang dewasa kelamin yang terdiri dari 576 ekor itik betina dan 41 ekor itik jantan. Data penelitian diambil dari 19 peternak di Kecamatan Bayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Peubah yang diamati untuk karakter kualitatif yang sesuai dengan Kepmentan dan morfometrik. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dengan menghitung rataan, standar deviasi dan koefisien keragaman dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunujjan karakter kualitatif itik Bayang memiliki persentase fenotipe berkisar antara 43,90-93,23%. Karakter kualitatif yang dapat di klasifikasikan sesuai dengan Kepmentan 2012 adalah pada itik jantan warna bulu bagian kepala, warna bulu dada dan warna bulu punggung coklat tua. Itik Bayang betina memiliki frekuensi fenotipe kualitatif yang sesuai >75%. Keragaman morfometrik itik Bayang berkisar antara rendah dan tinggi Koefisien keragaman yang tertinggi pada bobot badan itik betina sebesar 15,17%. Sedangkan itik Bayang jantan panjang punggung sebesar 14,12 %.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh daging itik dari strain yang berbeda terhadap kualitas fisik abon daging itik. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan adalah itik tegal (P1), itik alabio (P2), itik entog (P3) dan itik peking (P4). Variabel yang diukur dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitas fisik yaitu pH, susut masak dan rendemen. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis sidik ragam dan perlakuan yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel yang diukur diuji lanjut menggunakan uji Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa abon itik dari strain yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap pada variabel pH dan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap susut masak dan rendemen abon daging itik. Diantara empat strain itik yang sangat bagus digunakan dalam pembuatan abon yaitu pada perlakuan 4 (Itik Peking).

Penelitian tentang analisis pendapatan pada usaha itik petelur melibatkan dua kelompok peternak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pendapatan yang diterima peternak pada usaha ternak itik petelur. Responden sebanyak 62 peternak yang terdiri dari dua kelompok peternak itik petelur dengan sistem umbaran berada di Desa Kedungsari dan kelompok peternak itik petelur dengan sistem semi intensif di Desa Trasan, Kecamatan Bandongan, Kabupaten Magelang. Rerata jumlah ternak yang dimiliki oleh peternak adalah 32 ekor itik petelur, rata-rata produksi telur itik sebanyak 22 butir/ekor/bulan dalam suatu usaha peternakan. Hasil perhitungan rerata pendapatan usaha ternak itik petelur Rp 501.003,79 per bulan. Usaha ternak itik petelur dihitung R/C rasio diperoleh hasil sebesar 1,58 yang artinya usaha ternak itik petelur menguntungkan dan berpotensi untuk dikembangkan.

A potential production study of Sasak duck and the non-indigenous ducks (Campbell, mojosari, MA, and alabio ducks) was carried out in Centre Lombok Regency. Research materials were 50 female DODs for each breed. The variables observed were growth rate and feed conversion. The growth rate was measured every week from started from DOD until 10 weeks old. The data obtained were analyzed by using one-way ANOVA Complete Randomized Design. Results of research: body weight gain (BWG) for all breed increased until age between 5-6 weeks after that declined. Sasak and Campbell BWG were the least. The shank length average of all breed increased 253,86% within ten weeks. The shank length gain (SLG) for all breeds decreased steadily from the first week. The relative SLG of Sasak and MA ducks were between labia duck and Campbell ducks. The relative SLG of labor duck was highest and while that of mojosari ducks was the lowest. The average of the shank diameter gain within 10 weeks for all breeds increased 217.43%. There was no shank diameter difference (P 0.05 >) between Sasak ducks and the nation Lombok indigenous ducks. The average of middle finger length (MFL) of all breeds from one to 10 weeks increased 181,90%. The relative MFL gain of Sasak and Campbell ducks were less (P < 0.05) than that of the other three breeds. The feed conversion of Sasak, Campbell ducks, mojosari, MA, and alabio were 3.60; 3.90; 4.04; 4.06, and 3.66 consecutively.

ABSTRAKItik Talang Benih merupakan itik lokal Bengkulu yang dagingnya belum banyak dimanfaatkan untuk produk olahan. Padahal daging itik memiliki potensi untuk menjadi produk olahan. Salah satu produk olahan yang cukup berkembang saat ini adalah sosis yang biasanya bahan bakunya adalah daging sapi. Mengingat daging itik potensial dikembangkan maka penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui beberapa sifat fisik dan organoleptik sosis daging sapi disubstitusi daging itik Talang Benih. Diduga daging itik Talang Benih dapat menggantikan daging sapi dalam pembuatan sosis. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan perlakuan P1 (Sosis daging Sapi 100%), P2 (Sosis daging sapi 75% disubstitusi daging itik talang benih 25%), P3 (Sosis daging sapi 50% disubstitusi daging itik talang benih 50%), P4 (Sosis daging sapi 25% disubstitusi daging itik talang benih 75%) dan P5 (Sosis daging itik Talang Benih 100%) dengan masing-masing perlakuan diulang tiga kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Daya Mengikat Air (DMA) sosis tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05) dan pH sosis cenderung meningkat dengan peningkatan substitusi daging itik Talang Benih (P<0,05). Atribut organoleptik warna, rasa, dan tekstur sosis memperlihatkan hasil yang tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05) sedangkan bau sosis yang mengandung daging itik lebih tinggi cenderung menjadi amis, yaitu skor 3,03 pada P5 (agak amis) dari skor 4,03 pada P1 (sedikit amis). Tujuan melakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatahui: (1) Keadaan penerapan budidaya itik pada Kelompok Ternak Itik Putri Mandiri; (2) Keadaan pemasaran itik pada Kelompok Ternak Itik Putri Mandiri. Metode penelitai yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan mengambil kasus pada Kelompok Ternak Itik Putri Mandiri. Pengambilan data dilaksanaan dengan teknik wawancara secara langsung dan analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Keadaan penerapan budidaya itik pada Kelompok Ternak Itik Putri Mandiri mencangkup pemberian pakan, pengambilan telur, teknik pencahayaan dan penggunaan litter, biosekuriti dan sanitasi, program pencegahan penyakit, penanganan limbah cukup baik, walaupun masih banyak yang harus diperbaiki semisal tata letak kandang dan program pemberian cahaya; (2) Harga jual telur dalam pemasaran itik antara Rp. 1.200-Rp 1.400,- per telur dan harga itik afkir Rp.32.000- Rp.35.000 per ekor. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengalisis tingkat profitabilitas usaha ternak itik pada Kelompok Tani Ternak Itik Berkah Abadi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bulan November 2021 pada Kelompok Tani Ternak Itik Berkah Abadi di Kelurahan Pesurungan Lor, Kecamatan Margadana, Kota Tegal. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara sengaja atau purposive sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus pada Kelompok Tani Ternak Itik Berkah Abadi. Sampel yang digunakan adalah keseluruhan populasi yang ada pada Kelompok Tani Ternak Itik Berkah Abadi. Analisis profitabilitas menggunakan metode uji one sample t-test dengan membandingkan profitabilitas masing-masing usaha ternak itik dengan suku bunga Kredit Usaha Rakyat pada Bank Rakyat Indonesia. Rata-rata nilai suku bunga Kredit Usaha Rakyat pada tahun 2021 pada Bank Rakyat Indonesia adalah 6%. diolah menggunakan program SPSS 25. Metode ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui signifikansi perbedaan antara profitabilitas dengan suku bunga. Apabila nilai profitabilitas berbeda dengan nilai suku bunga secara signifikan maka usaha ternak itik tersebut dapat disimpul menguntungkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha ternak itik pada Kelompok Tani Ternak Itik Berkah Abadi menguntungkan dan layak untuk dikembangkan. Kata Kunci: ternak itik, suku bunga, profitabilitas.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model kurva pertumbuhan pada itik Magelang generasi ke-2 dengan menggunakan dua model pertumbuhan yang berbeda. Data yang digunakan adalah pertumbuhan bobot badan hasil penimbangan itik Magelang dari umur 0 sampai 8 minggu yang diambil setiap 3 hari sekali. Itik yang digunakan sebanyak 297 ekor yang terdiri dari 113 ekor itik jantan dan 184 ekor itik betina. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan model yaitu Gompertz dan Logistic untuk menggambarkan pola pertumbuhan setiap jenis kelamin. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan model kurva pertumbuhan memiliki tingkat akurasi yang berbeda. Persamaan regresi model Gompertz pada itik jantan Y= 2.386,88 exp (-3,89 exp -0,03) dan betina Y= 1.760,02 exp (-3,78 exp -0,05), sedangkan model Logistic pada itik jantan Y= 1.558,17 / (1+19,78 exp -0,08) dan betina Y= 1.248,90 / (1+18,44 exp -0,08). Titik infleksi itik Magelang jantan dicapai pada Yi= 878,08 g dan ti= 42,44 hari, itik betina dicapai Yi= 647,48 g dan ti= 37,98 hari, sedangkan titik infleksi pada model Logistic itik Magelang jantan dicapai Yi=779,09 g terjadi di ti=39,27 hari dan itik betina dicapai di Yi=624,45 g dan ti=36,43 hari. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah kedua model memiliki tingkat akurasi yang tinggi, Model Gompertz memiliki tingkat akurasi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan Logistic.
